Weird question but… can fish get drunk? I feel like I’ve seen videos of mammals but that’s it

they CAN, but with a very small margin for error!

see, for fish, "drunk" is more of a "I have just been poisoned but not quite enough to die yet" state than a "I am pleasantly inebriated" state like it it is for humans.

it's not something that naturally happens to them in the wild, and there's a VERY small percentage difference between a drunk fish and a dead fish.

so, remember! alcohol goes WITH the fish, not IN the fish :)

i think it's quite amusing how the dish was shown using namari's perspective. before tasting it, she thought it wouldn't taste good and even thought of eating the stew as a form of punishment. right after tasting it, only then did the stew become vibrant in her eyes.

look. so many people use the classist card for this, but if you can't afford to feed an animal a diet that's not going to cause serious medical issues that will either kill it or require medical treatment for the rest of the animal's life, then maybe you shouldn't own this animal. "poor people deserve to have animal companions too" yes absolutely i agree, but maybe not at the expense of the animal's health.
