Playing IS-8 in the new event on auto to use up stamina, and I actually have audio on for it for apparently the first time. Because I did not before realize that the timing of me using Texas to kill the last enemy means that every auto ends with the same thing:

I love how Kiyoshi had absolutely no reason to pop up in the "Avatar Day" episode, she did just to be like:

"HE WAS A CONQUEROR. I HAD TO KEEP MY PEOPLE SAFE SO I KILLED THAT MOTHERFUCKER. HE WAS HORRIBLE AND YALL ARE SUCKERS FOR WORSHIPPING HIM. PEACE OUT."

Cuz this wasn't like the times Roku stepped in and took over Aang's body to 1) save them all from burning alive in a volcano, and 2) convince maybe the one person that could teach Aang firebending (at the time) to teach him.

If she hadn't popped up, Aang, Katara and Sokka would have just... left the Island. Aang would sulk for a couple episodes, then Azula would be a bigger problem for them again.

bUT NO she came back from the dead to admit to it, knowing full well she might've just sentenced Aang to death.

She was Proud™ of it.

okay, but where's my steddie AU where steve wants to learn to play guitar to impress a girl he's infatuated with and he remembers that munson kid was always hanging up posters for his weird band at school, so he hikes out to eddie's usual dealing spot behind the track and asks (with far less groveling than he really should have) if eddie will teach him how to play, and obviously eddie says no because why would he want to help king steve, but of course, steve offers to pay him, $20 a week, and well, that's the kind of get-the-hell-out-of-this-shithole-town cash eddie really can't afford to refuse, so fine, he'll teach steve to play and they'll spend inordinate amounts of time together tucked away in eddie's room and they'll start to see that they have more in common than they thought and that they kind of had each other all wrong, and eddie will put his hand over steve's to help him get the placement for a tricky chord and it totally won't awaken anything in either of them?? where is it??

favourite thing about them: Clarke's tenacity! Her first scene? She fights off two armed guards and LOCKS THEM IN HER CELL BEHIND HER. Then how she handles herself at the dropship ("You think we care who's in charge!?"). Her commitment to getting her people out of MW (despite every other leader before her failing to do so). Praimfaya. AFTER Praimfaya... When Clarke sets her mind on something, she's a force! 💥

least favourite thing about them: I hated seeing how much crap she put up with in S6 (and even some of the earlier seasons!) I wish she'd value herself enough to apply that tenacity to her own well-being 😅

favourite line: my answer always changes, but today it's this one from 512. It was refreshing to see Clarke own that 'Wanheda' part of herself after so many years. Loved that energy for her ⤵️

nOTP: I still think the Clarke x Gaia vibes felt really... off? I wasn't a fan. And Cillian definitely wasn't my fave either, but I guess he's actually not meant to be 😅

random headcanon: Eventually, earthkru has settled peacefully and trained a team of medics: so Clarke decides, after some convincing, to take up life as an artist.

(Though sometimes, when she can't sleep, Bellamy and Madi still find her helping patients in the med tent...)

unpopular opinion: she wasn't completely wrong with all her S5 decisions. Some of them, like shock-collaring her daughter? YES! But feeling obligated to get a 12 year old girl tf away from Wonkru and Blodrenia? Maybe not a bad call 🤷‍♀️ Her method was lousy, but her intentions not completely un-understandable.

...and her red hair was COOL! 🤣
