I know traditionally personal commentary goes in the tags, but I feel this is important. Last year, at 23, I independently came to this same conclusion. When I was 21, my girlfriend of four years broke up with me. I catapulted myself into a series of stupid decisions I am still dealing with the fallout of; personally, professionally, and medically. I only later came to realize how twisted that relationship was and how I had molded myself to try to be someone I thought she wanted. Without her, I had no identity, so I took on the personality of whoever I was with. I drifted through meaningless relationship after one night stand after meaningless relationship. Each time, I was someone else, someone they wanted. For two straight years, I could look my demons in the eye without flinching, but I paid for it by watching who I truly was rot away into nothing. Finally, at 23, my best friend got through to me, and I realized that no one is ever going to like every part of you. No one will love absolutely everything about you, and that's okay. In a few years, you won't like some parts of who you were, and that's okay too. So then what do you do? You nurture yourself, you be yourself unabashedly and unapologetically. Only then can you find someone who loves most of you. There will still be disagreements, pet peeves, annoyances, they're present in even the healthiest relationships I've ever seen. But you can work through them together, by talking and reminding each other of all the other things you love about each other. Your 20's is still young, your brain doesn't finish developing higher reasoning until about 25. I'm 24 now, and I don't like who I was. I wasn't me, I didn't nuture myself, but now? Now I've grown poppies on that old me's grave, and I'm still here. The best time to start was years ago, the second best time is today.

-I feel like before Todoroki began to attend UA ( and in the beginning of his time there ) he was a really picky eater since I think Endeavour would limit his food options. But, once he made some friends they convinced him to try a lot of new things and now his pallet is very diverse. -He's terrible at texting and uses a bunch of slang in the wrong ways. He'll also send messages like: "Lol! 🤣😂" -Todoroki doesn't understand other people's sarcasm the slightest, flirting or some metaphors. You could tell him to go break a leg and he'd just look at you like: 🙁 -But somehow he's also incredibly sassy without even knowing it. -He also sucks at saying tongue twisters. -Todoroki is really indecisive and will probably internally panic if someone asks him what he wants to do.

A few notes:

This is specifically formatted for a computer. You will need a mouse for parts of it! I tried looking at it on my phone, and it was garbage. I apologize to mobile users, but that just wasn't a priority.

This popped into my head unexpectedly, and I had to slap it together in less than a week, so I apologize if it sucks. Due to the time constraint, I didn't have as much time to do my customary 7000 rewrites, I didn't get as many pictures as I wanted, and the writing itself is a little... well, hopefully you'll forgive me someday.

THE EGG HUNT

The Egg Hunt portion uses image maps, which I've heard can be a little wonky. I will make an image map-free version (today even!), but for right now, fingers crossed that it works.

In order to participate in the "Egg Hunt," you'll need to run your mouse over the image until a little "?" appears by the cursor. Not all eggs are visible! And not everything you find is an egg! There are clues hidden in a couple of locations that are connected to the main story line, so I hope you find them!

I worry that even with the clues, though, that the story might be a little obscure, so feel free to ask for any clarification you need.

THE CHILDREN

You can "play" as Angela, Lilith, Dirk, Dustin, Gvaudoin or Fricorith. I did recycle a lot of text, but I tried to give each character their fair share of unique text, as well.

- He did an apology video(one “Logan Paul” styled one for PR and one genuine one after Radiator Springs)

- His favorite mobile games include: Fruit Ninja, Temple Run, Candy Crush, and Plants Vs. Zombies

- Doc actually insists Lightning play Candy Crush and Fruit Ninja since 1) Candy Crush is Doc’s favorite and 2) Fruit Ninja could help with Lightning’s hand-eye coordination

- He 100% bullies people on Roblox and goes into those Roleplay games to become “pretty princess / don’t touch my tail / weird kid / cute but doesn’t know it” type shit because he finds it hilarious(me too)

- He 100% downvotes other players in the fashion games so he can get a perfect score

- Lightning sits in the weirdest fucking positions when he’s engrossed in his little phone games. Like he’ll be broken into a croissant in the back seat while playing PvZ. Doc one time found him scrunched up in a small corner of the room, on his stomach, with his legs over his head and pressed into the wall in a giant L-formation while watching YouTube

- He’s really, really, really bad at Mario Kart

- Lightning and Mater will play games on call over Discord

- Lightning doesn’t know shit about technology, but whenever Doc needs help with something involving a game console or his phone or a game or something of the like, Lightning will always somehow know how to fix it or beat the level or whatever

- He’s an Apple user and does not fuck with any other brand for phones(he hates Apple computers tho)

- He 100% buys and uses all the phone cases of his merch(including the knock-off ones)

- Doc is a boomer and Lightning always has to help him set things up on phones

I usually follow back when it’s a fellow RP blog.

I do not rp smut with Minor RPERS ( That is illegal ) Warning: My activity is active. So active that I rp a lot! Like a lot! So I post replies within minutes with mutuals whose also active. So if that bothers you, that's okay! But if you want to interact but don't want to follow. I am aware that some rpers want to keep their dashes clean and it's completely understandable. Heck, shoot me an ask if you want to interact even if we aren't mutual due to that specific reason!

I don’t mind OCs or any fandom, but if it’s a fandom I don’t know about then I might send you an ask so you can help me fill in what the fandom is about if it’s confusing. It will help us both! Or maybe surprise me!

As for OCs! I love OCS. After all, I am rping OC. That said, I don’t mind characters that seem like “sues”. So if you're a rper who is worried about your OC being 'sue', please let me know so I can help out. After all, I know the feeling when starting out as OC rper. I think building an OC is a starting point, what they need is a journey. By 'journey' I mean by threads to see how your OC reacts with their surroundings and the world in general. I believe it's a good way to build character development. OCs never stay what they are at the beginning. They grow. After all, OCs are like our babies, right?

That said, if ter several threads, I can’t follow you or RP with you any longer if it's not working out. Things like pushing your OC muses on me for smut and such without no build is a no-go. Sorry.

Godmodding is not permitted. I won’t do it, so don’t please do it either. Wheniti comes to combat roleplaying or fighting rps, I prefer to plot it out (especially in a fight scene) like who wins or loses or ending in a draw or the fight is interrupted by external factors).

As for the font sizes, I can change the font size to match your writing style in a thread if you wish. If my font or format is hard to read or the opposite, just ask! I usually write plain text or small text. I'm not into graphics or stylized format. Just simple icons and writing is enough for me.

I have some trouble with my grammar, but if we’re writing together, I invite you to correct it or ask if something is confusing. Sometimes I get overly excited and write as fast as I think and even after double-checking, I might miss a few things like typos or grammatical errors. My apologies and please let me know if I have a typo or is there anything confusing for you, I make sure to fix it right away. On my end, believe it or not, I forgive small typos because writing is for fun and practice as a hobby.

Because of this, if you unfollow me whether I unfollow you first or not ( and I don’t remember that happening.) I will send you an ask to confirm if it’s a Tumblr glitch. If that is not the case, please ignore the ask and I will understand thinking it’s a softblock and I move on after a few days of waiting.

Interacting with Daichi/Kisho

I love fighting and serious rp, as well as crack! So I’m flexible!

I have no qualms about writing problematic and dark themes. I mean this is JJK, right? Things get crazy.

I don’t mind RPing action, gore, dark or anything! (romance is rare)

Speaking of romance, romantic relationships are rare for me. If you request one, it needs chemistry and time between our muses ( a slow burn) especially if they have incredible dynamics. I am wary when relationships between our muses don’t develop and go straight to romantic without any reason. I do not mind if your muse wants to date my muses but you must ask and it needs to have a good reason why though. I recommend a good story with a reasonable plot that can possibly build up a romantic relationship between them over time. That said, I have the right to disapprove if I feel if it doesn’t work out.

As for other ships, I mostly prefer platonic, rivalry, mentorship, friendship, enemies, frenemies, dependence, familial, sisterhood, brotherhood, and bonding. Again, romance is pretty rare for me but I’m not against it, it just needs development between our muses to get there. 

That said, I do not ship adults with minor muses in romance ships. It's just not for me.

One more thing! You have  FULL permission for your muses to hit and discipline Daichi/Kisho, if he does something stupid or says the dumbest things. It is allowed and encouraged. Sometimes that guy needs a reality check and it’s a way to pull the reins on him if he does something crazy that is dangerous. So if your muse has the urge to smack him upside the head or bonk him because he does or says something stupid, please feel free.

as promised, an announcement about the technical state of the blog:

if you're looking to find specific things on the blog, you HAVE to use the tag system (a list of ALL tags can be found on the tags page or recipe tags page).

you CANNOT use the 'search' function to look for things, as it will always return no results every time. the way to tell whether you're using tags or search is that url will be url.tumblr.com/tagged/tagname rather than url.tumblr.com/search/searchquery.

if you're cursed enough to be viewing the blog on the mobile app on the tumblr.com/url format instead, you need to make your search in the search bar #tagname instead of 'searchquery' (ie: put a # in front of it, use dashes for spaces). i advise using a browser to view this blog rather than the app, however, and as i don't use it myself i can't offer any further help w/ navigating this blog on the app.

original posts from this blog also don't currently show up in the sitewide tag viewer or search function (by my own testing, anyway).

both of these problems are completely out of my hands and i cannot do anything about them. i don't know if the primary problem (broken search) is fixable, but i am pretty sure that it never resolves on its own, as i've seen users whose search function has been broken for years (and i've come across an increasing number of blogs with broken search, so i think the issue is getting worse).

i know that the second problem (not showing in the sitewide tags) is fixable as i know people who have had that issue and had it fixed after contacting support, but i sent a support request months ago to staff (about both the search and the sitewide tags problems) that hasn't been responded to, so for now the situation remains the same.

i'll be sending in another support request soon, but i'm not sure if i'll get results this time or not.

02/21/2024 update: given current events, i'm putting off resubmitting a support ticket until further notice.

given tumblr's supposedly skeleton crew staff, they might be too busy to respond again anyway, and given the ceo's not very professional behavior (and an oblique threat to potentially shut down the site a few months for now), i'm not really sure if it's even practical to try to get fixed.

if thing stabilize again and i feel safe interacting w/ support, maybe. for now though i don't know when/if that will happen.

I have written out a transcript of this all and have placed it below the readmore. I have kept the original video's subtitle's formatting, including any errors.

Writing this transcript made me even more upset at this person and company. First of all, they couldn't even double check their spelling and punctuation on the accessibility function of their apology video. The error of "that can still be very comfortable without your own consent" when they mean uncomfortable was particularly self satirical.

Secondly, they are STILL deleting negative comments from the TikTok. Which means the comments about just wanting to have "a conversation" with people are blatant lies. They never wanted to have a conversation, which is why they made damn sure to delete any comments asking hard questions off their videos that were released prior to their launch. Which is exactly when they could have begun to address the issues if they had just listened in the first place.

Thirdly, they are still trying to figure out how to release this app even though they say they're "happy to completely shut down/depending on what the consensus is". Which puts the emotional weight on others and not their own actions. If the app gets fully shut down it's because of the consensus, not their own actions? Absolutely not with that phrasing.

Fourth, they throw every other speech-to-text function under the bus and blatantly LIE about how accessible the others are.

Absolutely infuriating.

I wanna do a quick update here because we've gotten a lot of thoughtful feedback

um in the past 24 hours or so

we received a ton of emails

a ton of messages

we're taking all that super seriously

when we built lore fm

we really envisioned it as a private text to speech tool

where it just made fanfiction a little more accessible

like the best text to speech tool on the web

since most of them are not very good at all

you know we were a free text to speech app

we don't sell any ads

we don't sell any data

it's not monetized

we don't

you know feed any fanfiction into any training models for generative AI

or anything of the sort

we were under the impression that this would be taken like

you know

downloading an e pub and transferring it to your private Kindle or e reader

but we realize that

you know we missed the Mark and we were wrong

and we really apologize

we don't want authors to think that their content is under threat in any way

I understand that even though users can only privately listen to the content

that can still be very comfortable without your own consent

with that being said

I don't think lore fm can continue in its current form

with respect to all the feedback

all the messages that we've gotten from so many authors

I don't feel comfortable putting that out

without you know

people's consent

and

thank you for letting me know

so even though we technically just started

it might be better for the current product to shut down

I know

that's disappointing for a lot of people

but we are committed to doing things the right way

one way something like this could potentially continue

as if there's a way for authors to actually opt into whatever platform

honestly I think what really gets me is not that they copied twitter, it's that they copied twitter and somehow made it worse

like. on a surface level it just looks like a one to one copy and paste of twitter's sidebar. however take an actual look at the scale of the sidebar compared to everything else

take a real, long look at that. notice anything?

if it's "wow the sidebar text is really fucking small" you'd be correct! now take a look at the scale of Twitter's sidebar (apologies in advance for Light Mode Jumpscare I do not care enough about Twitter to actually change it to dark mode)

now, again, on a surface level? very similar. however the key difference is that the sidebar text is sooooooo much fucking bigger here. admittedly I am not doing myself any favors by not having dark mode on since it makes it a bit harder to scale but just open the two images in separate tabs and you'll see what I mean! twitter's sidebar has way bigger text!

"okay but how does that make a difference" well see here's the thing: small text takes more effort to read. even if your eyesight is perfectly fine small text is generally harder to read than big text. and then when you DO take into account that some people really really need that bigger text it gets worse

so like. not only did tumblr copy twitter. they did an objectively worse copy that leaves TWITTER of all fucking places with the more user-friendly UI. like. Twitter. the burning dumpster fire of a social media run by the most stupid man on earth that we're all just waiting to see implode. that Twitter. that Twitter has the more user-friendly UI.

I haven't even gotten into how Tumblr staff has had this sort of format on mobile browser for MONTHS now and yet they still fucked it up somehow
