Related to the OC stuff I wanna know more about Becks and Silver in general! Box and Flicker too! They look so interesting and their designs so fun!

Ok so becks and silver are best friends. They are some of the guys who want to find a cure for the disease that ravages their world (apocalypse stuff), but unlike others they are willing to work with those infected

Anyways Silver and Becks have each had their own experiences with ppl whove got a mutated version of the disease, neither good, but alas they need some way to cure it and looking at ppl whove survived it is always a good start

Me rambling about the disease under the cut:

So the disease is very fun to me. Its found exclusively in water and most natural water sources are contaminated. Moss is safe from the disease bc it has some qualities that can repel it

See here you either just up and die from the disease bc it slowly takes you over and eats at your bones and effects your breath or you can form a parasitic bond with it (technically you dont form it, the disease just mutates and then it works that way). Box is one of those with the bond (hence why he has mushrooms growing on him). There are some fun stuff that comes from that

The disease is located in the mushrooms and removing those gets rid of the disease. Easy right? Well when a mushroom thinks its in danger it releases smth that messes with clotting agents (like boomslang venom) and causes you to bleed to death anyways :D

This is not as strong in parasite mutations, meaning you can remove a few mushrooms and be mostly fine (you loose a lot of blood still tho). It weakens the connection of the parasite with you which can be a nice relief

So yeah. The disease is very ever so slightly inspired by chytridiomycosis btw. Amphibians are much much more susceptible to it (it being water based and works a lot faster)

Welcome Home: The multimedia ARG that has recently made waves for its elaborate puzzles and worldbuilding, with genuine love for the colorful "lost media" puppet world it depicts.

Chainmail Chasers: An unfiction webseries and affectionate throwback to the age when creepypasta was a novel catalyst for discovery.

i keep seeing this post and no offense to any of my mutuals who have reblogged this but like...what? i'm not full on anti-civ by any means but subsistence farming is one of the MORE achievable leftist commune goals...there's people all over the world who are doing it as we speak. and even if you don't go 100% self-grown you don't need a huge plot to meaningfully supplement your diet!

(the fast food part gets me too like. maybe it's bc i didn't really eat fast food until i was in my twenties? due to allergies. but i wouldn't consider it a staple.)

It's been 1 year since Truth and Consequences started production and what a year it has been! I taught myself how to program in a rather obscure game engine specifically to make this game, and I'm still just as excited about it as I was back then. I'm 2 cases in and I've already made a ton of content you haven't seen yet for the next two, and a bit for the two after that.

Taking a break from Glitch was so helpful to make me feel like I have the ability to be creative again and to be passionate about something else. I really do think some of what's to come is the best writing I've ever done. Returning to Glitch for a bit (yes I am coming back to it fairly soon, I have a lot of writing to catch up on), I realized there are a fair amount of parallels between the two games. I've hidden a bunch of Easter eggs for eagle eyed fans to catch.

With the Apollo Justice trilogy releasing next January, there really is no reason not to catch yourself up on the lore to play the game. Of course, this is a vastly different series, so not everyone will get into it, but I'm so immensely proud of this project and I hope I can release my next case in the coming months.

My CC is an outlier from the dialogue discussion cuz he IS Cassidy but what I can add is that I write him as disabled, my version of him autistic and mostly nonverbal, and when he speaks he tends to stutter, trail off, skip filler words, leave sentences unfinished, etc. and it's like. I can do that without making him talk like "he did a lot of oopsies :("

Like the way I write his dialogue is disjointed and obviously poor English, but I think I do it in a way that doesn't feel infantilizing. There's really not any good reason for the way he's written in that comic lmao

PLUS as you pointed out Cassidy is being painted as being in the wrong for still being angry about her trauma, and that's doubly weird since she's the only dark skinned character and is being written as overly angry and aggressive

not alot to add on sorry but i believe this is the better way to write a disabled character that isnt using "cute" (?? idk) talk with alot of emoticons and i need everyone to see it >>
