So a I tried bot hunting a while ago. I can’t do much because I’m in school, but over a span of days I’ve managed to forge some swords for bot hunting.

Get em while supplies last! Cost for each: the skull of a spam bot.

Just what I suspected, worried, and predicted.

I just found a post that pointed this out.

The tags include #acespec mafia.

Earlier, I had made a prediction. Since #acespec was popular, it was flooded with bots. The prediction was that #acespec mafia was going to become popular, and suffer the same fate, being overrun by the bots.

Notice how this doesn't even tag #acespec and/or #aspec. The tag has become unpopular and so the bots won't use it. And funnily enough, one of its tags is #spam bots, which is honestly hilarious, a spam bot tagging itself as a spam bot.

The solution isn't to run, because running makes an endless loop.

Acepec, to Acepec Mafia, to Acespec Gang, to Acespec, it will just keep going.

The solution isn't just to run and create new tags, it's to fight.

Report every bot you see, make posts about it, spread awareness, contact [tumblr], do everything and anything in your power to report the bots. And not just on the #asexual and #acespec and all those tags, do every tag there is and address the problem.

The problem is that they aren't on our tags, the problem is that they are here at all. Tell everyone about these bots and to report them. I've seen bots not on ace-related tags, I've seen them on many popular fandoms, and even niche ones.

Make [tumblr] deal with them. Let's fight together as the mafia, and hopefully we'll gain the attention of the boss.

So, there are porn bots spamming the asexual tags on the regular, along with some other popular tags like The Owl House, Donald Trump, etc. Because most aces and more are rightfully disgusted by that bullshit, they’ve banded together and started to report them. Hence, it’s called the bot hunt/bot war because it’s like the aces fighting against the tag invader bots. There’s a lot more about that on my blog, @aristarxs, so you can check that/the ace tags on this post for more info.

All in all, it’s excellent for Denmark invasion practice.

The bots are extremely back in the asexual tags btw. There's so many again, and during pride month no less. I don't think we ever "won" the war in the first place, the bots were just drowned out by the post influx from the beginning of pride month. The war is still going, soldiers

Guys. I am traumatized right now.

So I was getting rid of bots in the asexual tag as usual until I found a bot with an old lady showing her bare tits. This was my first time seeing that and all I can tell you is that I’m traumatized. Right when I reported that post as spam, I saw a bot post with a cat picture in it and the caption stated “Meow.” And after that, I saw another bot post with another woman showing her bare titties.

Guys, we need to get rid of these bots from the asexual tag once and for all.
