I've always seemed to prefer Marvel comics over DC comics, and I think one of those reasons is because of childhood nostalgia: The first big Super-Hero game I remember playing was Marvel Ultimate Alliance. that game still holds some sentimental value for me, even though I haven't played it since I was around 5-6.

The only experience I had with DC was the Justice League tv series and remakes of Batman the animated series. I remember loving two-face and martian manhunter, something extremely unfortunate since they were characters used far less frequently than the others. I also remember loving the villain shade, probably because I've always seemed to love overly formal fashion like top hats, canes, etc. I never got around to watching Justice League unlimited, however, for reasons I no longer remember. It might have been that I didn't like how the original team founders seemed to take a backseat for new characters, upsetting me because I dislike change. That's only a guess, however.

anyway makeup is fun to do but also part of an inherently misogynistic industry and im struggling w trying not to get beauty standard stuff get to me when watching a makeup tutorial. uhhh yeah so im nonbinary and like cute things and it doesnt make me a girl or anything bc i dont know whst femininity is, ive since childhood felt excluded from girlhood bc of being hairy and autistic and this alienation shaped my identity for a large part. i was aware of my nonbinary identity since a couple of years and im currently at this stage where i dont feel very dysphoric anymore but rather feel gender euphoria or just not think abt these issues too much, partially bc it's not a new topic anymore, partially bc im too stressed bc of school to worry abt other things, partially bc i know i need to wait so long before i can hopefully get into the medical process that it's no use worrying abt that way in advance. not that i know not too stress out abt other things years in advance though lol. anyway, jimin and taemin are my androgynous icons and happy trans day of silly! 😎

oh boy it’s the nastiest trashiest funniest drama i have ever had to witness lmao, lots of words ahead though 

so for a very long time jeffree star was bffs with manny mua and laura lee but then some drama happened and they split. and since (lets be honest) manny and laura owe their popularity only to hanging out with jeffree, now without his help they started loosing subscribers and decided to find “new best friends” - gabi zamora and nikki something, to hang out with and try to stay relevant.

so at one point gabi makes shady tweets about jeffree and that’s what started the fire :) one of his tweets was like “imagine stanning a racist? i could never” (ref to jeffree’s racist past that he apologized for a year ago and imo proved himself to be a better person but anyway). so after gabi said that somebody dug out gabi’s old tweet using the N word and lmao he sure was called a big hypocrite.

then comes laura lee, basically ruining her own career. after gabi, fans dug out her tweets from 2012 where she’s saying a bunch of racist crap. so fans are waiting for an explanation but laura doesnt post any statement but instead suspends her twitter account and mass deletes all her tweets which, obviously, doesnt look good. then she releases a written statement with a half-assed apology (”im an alabama girl and knew no better”), saying she needs time, but fans keep waiting for a video addressing the issue. instead she uploads another makeup video. so obviously even her biggest fans were like “what the heck, you gonna act like nothing happen??”. so soon she releases an apology video. and oh boy. it’s something. it’s basically her making ugly crying noises for 4 minutes straight, wiping off “tears” from her dry face and beside that, she doesn’t even make any coherent apology or owes up to her shit. it’s just bad. watch for laughs tho. and after all that she’s lost almost a 400k subscribers and many makeup brands stated they will no longer work with her.

nikki made some bullshit tweets about kids but she didnt get that much backlash

now regarding manny, a video was dug out (i dont know from what year but apparently when he and jeffree were still friends) of some meeting-with-fans event and an autistic girl came up to jeffree and they hugged and manny (who was standing next to jeffree) made a cringy “eww” like face at the girl behind her back. his video apology came last and he tried to explain it as “he expected the hug” and he “was embarrassed” and other bs. some said he’s sincere, some didnt buy it.

and it would be an end if gabi didn’t release a 45 min long video today addressing the whole situation. he stated he did make the first shady tweets himself (for which he then apologized to jeffree and was forgiven) but he also tells how when they all got under the fire manny basically told him to take all the blame and publicly apologize to each of them for dragging them into it. which gabi wasn’t okay with. there was a lof of stuff said but basically, manny (while being the nastiest one behind the scenes) was caring about his own ass and was trying to come out of this drama alive and wouldnt mind to throw his friends under the bus just so his career doesnt flop that hard as well.

my take on that: gabi sure earned some respect, coming out with all of this. he admitted what he did wrong and apologized. laura is…. dumb. i think she’s just unbelievably stupid. because you can make a comeback after being called a racist, jeffree did. his apology video was straight to the point, he addressed each and all of the shit he had said in the past, properly apologized and proved to be better since then, basically coming from most-hated to most-loved mua youtuber again. the way laura handled the situation was… well, she didnt. also, her pr manager should be fired. as to manny, well he’s a snake behind all of this :)

Bats and true crime are big ones for me at the moment!Abel (my older brother in the system) shares the crime one and cooking ( despite his anorexia) he finds it calming and is basically the cook in the system, chemistry is another huge one for him and has been for most of his life. let me clarify: repeating what people just said is a common thing autistic people do to understand the context of the situation or what the person is actually trying to say. i do this all the time. i dont wanna say manny is autistic bc idk but even if hes not, it still puts autistic people in an uncomfortable situation. i personally hate that i have to do this all the time and i hate when people point it out because its flat out embarrassing. so yea maybe pick on the fact that theyre just bad people instead? thanks
