We had SO much fun making this with our partner @squishtomtato over on TikTok! We've dipped our toes into cosplay before, but this was a real step!

Is it perfect? No (we see the smeared eyeliner lol). Is it professional? No. But was it fun? YES!

Our family motto has been: do it anyway. It was the theme of our first vid on our YouTube channel (linked here and in our pinned post-- as our TikTok account shall be also).

And we're so excited to take steps towards making content, a dream we've had for *forever*! But we're not aiming for perfection. We're not aiming for views.

We're aiming for passion. And that's been.. honestly, healing.

how does one plan out a character study of two characters who are just absolutely rotten? fucking disgusting. genuinely asking for tips i've never written characters that just don't want to change in any way whatsoever, it's only their evil changes the space around them.

and since you're asking me i assume you think i can write rotten characters skillfully.... if so, i thank you my friend. unfortunately i have no tips to spare because all of my writing comes to me in random visions from above and i can't be sure how i do it myself

Theres moreeee, this is so so good.. it makes me emotional realizing that these kids are on the path to being fluent cherokee speakers and will be able to keep the language going.

This family is a part of the little cherokee seeds program, creating new first language Cherokee speakers by paying mothers to just bring their babies and craft and cook and speak cherokee with cherokee elders all day. There are only 1500 first language Cherokee speakers, most of them over 65. They also take donations if you want to help keep them going and doing the extremely important work they do!!

it's funny how wildly vampire media varies on how much blood drinking is lethal. for some vamps, if they get lost in the sauce for even just seven seconds then you are a total goner, absolutely deadzo. for others, they can have a multi minute sloppy slurp sesh with you twice a week for months on end and you only feel a little woozy. the vampire claudia drained her whole boyfriend in less than half a minute but count dracula himself needed like four tries to exsanguinate one teenager with a sleep disorder. one of the many ways in which claudia is superior to dracula.

i’m spending today thinking about how saber toothed cats ALSO probably had a potato form.  how they also had a stage where they were fat little babies with very triangle tails and tiny squeaky voices.  how they also probably play wrestled and failed badly at calculating jumps.
