how much do you want to bet that these flowers will be placed on one of her brother’s graves in the end

"You had your chance to be one of us! And you chose the wrong side!" The only reason I believe one of the clone assassin is Tech.
My pens, which I thought were water resistant, and I thought I could knock this out quickly were derailed when my pen was not waterproof, and that my brown ink was not so much brown as chardonnay, and I had to use lesser supplies.
Within the text, the evidence that Tech is Clone X2 is not there; "domicile" is not proof. I did research to prove why "evidence" about stances is not true. I think there is other storytelling evidence that Tech is alive. Plus, this franchise has broken my heart before, so I will refrain from being too optimistic.

Ya’ll HEAR ME OUT
Tumblr media
So I’ve been thinking a lot about what Hemlock said to the Emperor about other experiments he’s been doing, like larger assets and “exotic testing,” which got me thinking…
What if they’re cloning or trying to understand the Geonosian Brain Worms from Season 2 of the Clone Wars? Imagine using them to control these clone prisoners and create an army of mindless drones like Clone X. What if that’s how he’s controlling these guys?
Just let me cook I swear everyone, I am on to something.

BAD BATCH S3 TRAILER SPOILERS AS WELL AS S2 SPOILERS :^]
Tumblr media
ITS FUCKING CROSSHAIR
Oh yeah it's theory time babyyyy
Tumblr media
**I'm gonna focus on episode titles "The return", "identity crisis" and "Point of no return" so here we go!**
I was rewatching the bad batch s3 trailer when I noticed a few things, more notably the background here:
Tumblr media
That's Pabu, note the large mountain- but how could the empire find it? It's simple. They didn't. Episode 5: The return hints that we see an old friend or enemy, my guess is that it's tech. Hemlock saying that the goggles were all he could salvage must have been a lie. He **stole** Tech's body and has done something to it, leading to his "identity crisis" (episode 10). Back to talking about Pabu though- How did they find it? Tech did. Tech's brain is being used similar to that of Echo's for information, but with the host body (Tech) being used by a false identity forged by Hemlock as an experiment. This is why he's past the "Point of no return", he's trapped inside his mind like a virus that's taken hostage of the body; he's stuck and he needs CF99 to set him free again. I've seen people say that the person in the front is Crosshair, but he's being held captive on whatsitcalled so it can't be him.

Bad Batch Theory
So I've been trying to work out how this season is going to wrap up and where we're going to find all of the Batch at the end. I can't imagine Echo leaving the Rebellion just yet but I'm also not sure that the rest of the Batch are going to leave Pabu.
So here's my idea. Wrecker, Tech, Hunter, Omega and Crosshair all go back to Pabu, where Omega can hang out with kids her own age, Tech and Phee can spend some more time together, and Crosshair can actually have a breather for once in his life.
However, they are also still in contact with Echo, who will make regular stops off at the island, taking a group of newly-rescued clones with him each time. He hangs out with the Batch for a bit before heading back to Coruscant to help Rex and Riyo. Meanwhile, the Batch help get the new clones settled on Pabu.
It lets Echo stay in the fight, it lets the Batch stay on Pabu while still helping their brothers, and it just lets all of them be where they feel comfortable. It ties up everything this season, but also leaves it open for the possibility of another one. I can imagine Echo and Rex getting into a sticky situation and needing the Batch to come and help get them out. Or maybe something drives the Batch off Pabu.
We'll find out tomorrow what happens but that is where my head is at for now.

Did Crosshair really have his chip out on Kamino?
Rewatching this scene, I have so many FEELS about it.
Like – it’s so easy to see on Omega when she’s scared. But her brothers are far better at hiding it, because of their training and… older physical age. But sometimes, there are glaring reminders of how young they actually are. Like this.
Tumblr media
The oldest clones are thirteen, but I’m pretty sure ones as young as eight have been sent to the front lines. I think I heard that’s how old Echo was.
I suspect that’s how old the Bad Batch were, too.
And that they’re probably only about nine now. They were clearly young enough that Omega remembered them being there, and before, meaning they must’ve been there when she was three-four-ish.
But yeah. It’s normally very, very hard to see Hunter being remotely insecure about anything. But then there’s… that. And the way he visibly tenses when Crosshair comes in. I just. OW. That’s his little brother. His maybe very annoying but still chaotic little fluffball of a brother who always jumped to his defense for anything. Until the Empire came along. And Hunter’s scared of him.
Not that it’s hard to know why.
It’s not like Hunter doesn’t know the Empire believes in torturing people. Hunter was there when they rescued the Senator on Raxus. He saw that torture droid. Honestly. What do you think he expected to happen?
And that cold, aloof way Crosshair was acting certainly didn’t help. And that’s why I can’t believe Crosshair is really himself in any of that. Because if he was, he wouldn’t have been dumb enough of drag all his brothers out there in the first place. He might not’ve known Hunter fell off a cliff, but he didn’t even check him over to see if he was alright. He didn’t… anything. Yeah, they were being watched the whole time, but he still could’ve – would have – tried to reach out to him in some way Hunter at least would understand if it really was him doing all this.
And Hunter always covers his fear with anger. His anger is only ever a mask. It’s not real. And it only shows up when he’s worried about either his siblings, or the mission. Except then. On Kamino. With Crosshair.
And as a sidenote, can we not forget Crosshair was shoving Hunter around with his own blaster in all of that?
That’s just.
So incredibly against the soft, compassionate brother we know him to be.
Oh, yeah. And let’s not forget the fact that Crosshair literally tried to stab Hunter in the neck with his own knife. Goodness.
So yeah. Rewatching ep15-16, I have no question whether or not Crosshair’s still being controlled.

bad batch theory
ok listen, I haven’t even finished episode 1 of season 3 yet. BUT IS OMEGA FORCE SENSITIVE????? I mean Lama Su keeps throwing away her blood sample! Is it because she has a high midi-chlorian count? And we all know that Palpatine is trying to have a clone of himself that has the force! And Lama Su is working for Palpatine to create that clone! So is it possible that Lama Su is trying to protect Omega? I mean who knows what would happen to her if the Empire found out she was a force sensitive clone! Bad stuff probably. Anyways Omega is force sensitive. You can’t change my mind.

The Bad Batch is upset and you can TELL
It isn't all that obvious but with the subtle changes in their behavior in "The Crossing", you can see they're all upset about Echo leaving, not only because he's their brother too, but because it's reminding them of Crosshair.
Hunter is just trying to keep everybody sane and just be ok with it, especially when it comes to Omega, because she's arguably taking it the hardest.
Tech and Wrecker are at each other's throats because they're both upset and angry and lashing out. Whether or not they're mad at Echo for leaving or just upset he's gone I have no idea, but it's clear when Tech talks to Omega later he is very much feeling it. He is compartmentalizing to try and keep himself sane. He's done it in past episodes and he seems to be doing it now.
We saw how Wrecker reacted when Crosshair left, even if he did go to the Empire. Tech and Echo were shown to be close through their roles in the team, and Wrecker and Echo had almost no tension ever. When you break up a team dynamic, especially one with a base as a Five Man Band and a close-knit family, everything's gonna go to heck until balance is restored. At least in my experience.

Hemlock might use the Batch’s enhancements against them
Early reviewers are saying that Hemlock is the absolute worst these next few episodes, and I think I might know one of the reasons why.
We’ve seen no evidence of Hemlock having any sort of physical prowess, but he’s incredibly smart. And he’s probably planning to face-off with the Batch to get Omega back.
He likely knows everything there is to know about the boys, he’s probably read their files. He knows what they can do and what their weaknesses are. This is made clear when he reveals he knows about Hunter’s advanced senses in the season 2 finale.
Think back to The Outpost, when Crosshair is blinded by the flash of the explosion. It hurt and debilitated him for several moments. That was the first time we were shown any possible downsides to the Batch’s enhancements.
I don’t think that was just a one-off situation.
If Hemlock himself goes to Pabu, he won’t pull any punches. He’ll expect retaliation from the Batch. He’ll be ready.
He’ll blind Crosshair, incapacitate Wrecker’s strength, and do something (maybe with electricity?) to debilitate or harm Hunter’s senses.
Tech was the only one of them who didn’t have a physical enhancement. (Tech would also know about his brother’s weaknesses, but I don’t want to think about the implications on if Hemlock got his info that way)
We’ve also seen Hemlock recognizing that Omega is more willing to comply if her brothers are put in harms way.
It will be the perfect way to control her.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but….
Shit’s not going to work out in the Bad Batch’s favor. I’m pretty confident that none of them are going to make it out alive (save maybe Omega who may or may not have plot armor, but what happens to her probably won’t be great either).
My theory is that the clones (Rex and crew) will stage a very short-lived attempt at a rebellion against the Empire, and will lose their ass. They’re ultimately going to be pushed into exile where we find them in season 2 of Rebels. It’s not going to take long to squash them, I feel. We’ll see, I guess. Not optimistic though. Their chances are grim.

Bad Batch Season 2 Theory(ish)
Okay so, I was doing some lovely late night research last night and I think I know a possible event happening in Bad Batch.
It's about our Commander Cody and what happens after the war ends. After our lovely Commander Cody executes Order 66 (and Obi-Wan) he is transferred to Kashyyyk to hunt down and enslave the Wookies. So I'm thinking that, since we saw our darling Wookie youngling, Gungi, in the trailer, we will see it happen OR hear Cody talk about it! And maybe a possible redemption and apology??? If he gets his chip out??

Hey everyone,
So I was going through a Bad Batch trailer analysis I had made before S2 premiered and saw something. The trailer is from about 8mo ago and I managed to get this screenshot.
Tumblr media
Omega is shown briefly with this boy, who appears to be about 3yrs older than her (anywhere from 2-4yrs older tbh). This is the only time we see him and the only convo/dialog we get is Omega telling him ‘let’s go’. I can’t tell what the light source is in the background, but they are clearly inside somewhere.
Here’s the same shot only I messed with it a bit in Procreate to try and make it brighter.
Tumblr media
There appears to be some kind of doorway or something behind Omega on the right, though it’s barely visible and I could totally be wrong. Despite the low quality we can see that the boy has a scarf, fingerless gloves and a casual tunic (nothing like what the rich/senators/powerful people wear). I haven’t really seen this kid discussed but I have 2 theories about who he could be.
**I HC the Clone War lasted about 4yrs. Idk how accurate/concrete the years are for SW**
Tumblr media
Theory 1–This boy is Petro, one of the padawans from Gungi’s group (the cocky kid). Considering we’ve seen Gungi already and knew for a fact he was gonna show up, it’s not entirely impossible that we’d run into the others. Personally, I was really sad we didn’t hear a thing about them from Gungi the whole ep (and that Echo didn’t even suggest contacting Rex?? Like yes Gungi belongs w/ his people, but Ahsoka!!! The others!!! I honestly thought that was how the padawans would tie into this season, though so far only Gungi is confirmed). While Petro is about 12 during the padawan/Hondo arc, this boy appears to be about 14/15, meaning about 2-3yrs of the war go by. If BB S2 is about 6mo after O66, that could work out (I think. Cuz Ahsoka would be about 15 during her time with the padawans and about 17/18 during O66). While Petro’s hair color is darker in CW, hair can change color over time. However, the texture of this boy’s hair is more wavy than Petro’s and his nose is straighter (Petro’s nose curves in). Yes we’ve seen Anakin’s straight golden hair turn to a long, curly chocolate brown, but usually facial features stay the same. All facial features ‘shrink’ as we age so yes, they do change in size, but they should still be the same shape, just proportionally smaller (unless surgery or something).
Tumblr media
Theory 2–This boy is Lux Bonteri. Lux is about Ahsoka’s age when they meet. Because CW is an anthology series, the only linear time progression we get is through Ahsoka aging (though there are some stories w/ out of order episodes). Since the padawan arc and Ahsoka training Lux happens in the same season, it’s possible that she met Lux after her time w/ the padawans. If so that’d put them both at about 15. As stated in Theory 1, this boy in the screenshot appears to be about 14/15 (Lux’s age in CW). Lux would be about 17ish in BB S2 which doesn’t really line up with the boy in the picture. However, we have already been introduced to Saw Gerrera in S1. It’s possible Lux returned to/stayed with Saw and the rebels on Onderon after Steela Gerrera’s death. That’d be a way to bring Saw back in since we just saw him that one time in S1E1. Also, Lux’s hair texture and color line up better with this boy and while his nose still has a bit of a button shape at the tip, the bridge of his nose is straighter than Petro’s. Only the ages don’t quite line up.
There’s also the possibility that we’ve never seen this boy/he is a new character. I could be totally wrong about my theories. We’ve gotten 2 new characters so far (Phee Genoa and Tawni Ames) so it’s not impossible to have another. I must admit that while both Lux and Petro check similar boxes to this mystery boy, neither match him completely. Lux would be almost an adult (17/18) while this boy looks to be 15 at the oldest (I HC Omega is 12 in S2) though his hair texture, color and nose shape matches this boy more than Petro. In contrast, Petro would be the right age (about 14/15 during BB) and we’ve already got confirmation that Gungi is alive.
I just wanted to bring this up cuz I rewatched S2E6 ‘Tribe’ and was going through some of my previous posts. Thanks for reading 💕
*Edit—I had a thought that it could be Kanan as well. We haven’t seen him since he ran off in S1E1 and because Omega knows Hera, she could set up their meeting. His nose shape and hair color are a match along with his age, though I think the hair texture is a bit different. However, given that he mistrusted CF99/Hunter the last time he saw them, I highly doubt he’d trust Hunter again.
