‘Band Geeks’ (Season 2, Episode 15 of Spongebob Squarpants)

I just spent a good 15-20 minutes looking up the "Sweet Victory" song in the Band Geeks episode of Spongebob because I have never heard that sound outside of spongebob

When you look it up, google's first answer is that it was released with a spongebob album in 2005. This made no sense because Band Geeks came out in 2001, and the song sounds older than that.

So I turned to my mom and played it for her to see if she knew it, and she said she had never heard the song either. That blew my mind because my mom knows like. All music from 1970-1995.

I eventually found the full song. It was recorded in 1996 and listed as "radio ready." But instead, THE PRODUCERS OF SPONGEBOB LICENSED IT

THEY WROTE THE EPISODE AROUND THIS SONG

Anyway, this is one of the most iconic songs ever, and 22 years later that episode still holds as my favorite spongebob episode ever.
