quick guide on backing up your tumblr from someone who has tried it various ways over the years

so, you noticed that tumblr is so understaffed that they didn't even do april fools this year and you're thinking of backing up your tumblr. maybe even using tumblr's built-in export function.

there are plenty of third party apps that will scrape your blog and grab all the posts. tumblr-utils is one that i have used historically to great effect. another option here. or find your own.

however, if you want to save your dms and asks, you need to use tumblr's export function.

first go to your blog settings and click export blog. you'll get an email when it finishes exporting. this may take a couple days.

now, my blog's file was about 400GB. that's almost half a terabyte. it's a lot of data. there's no way to shrink it or only download parts. it also will not tell you how big the file is going to be. my blog has ~250k posts and another 5k unanswered asks. and yours will probably scale with that.

(this is a good reason to use third party scrapers instead, by the by. tumblr-utils at least allows you to 1) download only your own original posts and not reblogs, 2) download only text and not media, and 3) download in batches not all at once. you're not forced to take the whole thing, which is a lot of data. the html result from tumblr utils is also more usable than the one from tumblr as well).

anyway. the first thing you'll want to do is make sure you choose what folder something downloads to. you do NOT want half a terabyte in your downloads folder. you want it going straight to an external drive. you can set firefox to open a little "save as" dialogue box everytime you download something, which honestly i would recommend doing anyway. or you can use a download manager like jdownloader, which will also help in other ways. though personally i found that jdownloader seemed to choke on the fact that tumblr doesn't tell you the size of the download, and that meant i couldn't interrupt the download or jdownloader would assume it was done.

second is just. make sure your external drive is big enough. i ended up literally bailing out files onto other random thumb drives because i only had about 250GB free on my external drive when i started downloading.

third. turn off your computer's ability to sleep. if you've got a pc that should be in the control panel under power settings. it should say power plan. my blog took about 15 hours to download. i had to just let my computer sit there downloading, and my computer needed to not go to sleep.

fourth, i would recommend using an ethernet cable if you have one. that will make it go faster.

you should get a file. though my computer literally choked on mine and i had to open it with 7zip because the zip file didn't quite work.

honestly if you're willing to spend an unreasonable amount of time and storage space on this i would recommend grabbing the tumblr native backup and then also using tumblr utils and scarping the text, then using the tumblr utils version of the text. my suspicion is that you can just grab the media folder from the tumblr export download and dump it into the tumblr utils folder and you'll be good. tumblr utils handles the text posts way better and more accessibly.

another space saving option is to just literally delete the media folder. or to delete the media in the folder that's not labeled "conversations," since the stuff labeled "conversations" is media that was sent in your dms and you may want to save that.

tumblr export WILL give you all you dms (including with deactivated users and users you have blocked and who have blocked you) and it will also give you unanswered asks (again including from deactivated users etc). probably also submissions and possibly also old fanmail, i haven't checked. i have not figured out yet whether you get your draft posts. if you do they're not in their own folder they're just mixed in with the rest.

the html formatting, however, is dogshit. even of the dms. the dm conversations are literally presented backwards.

when you say you are checking mods for updates.. do you mean that you regularly go to the sites you downloaded mods from and check on them?? 😭 i just started downloading mods and cc for sims and i def haven’t been doing that. idk how to manage mods or have good file organization habits, but it seems like everyone online already knows what they’re doing 😢

oh yeah bud, you gotta bookmark those websites, especially if you are downloading more than just hair, clothes and furniture. lots of mods break all the time, mostly after updates. curseforge has the sims actual, legit mod manager now where if you download the mods through it you can update them through it too, but there are also a few homebrew managers out there that are amazing - one even has a companion phone app to swipe away cc you don't want anymore with ease! another essential tool is sims4studio which can batch fix any broken cc, for example in one update all cc beds broke but with s4s it was easy to click a few buttons and have every file combed through and fixed automatically by the program instead of me! there's another tool called "sims 4 tray importer" which is great for manual deletion too, just put everything you don't want on a single sim or lot and then delete it en masse. all of these things are super easy to find with some googling (especially now that I've pointed you in the right direction) and I'm pretty sure most of them have comprehensive tutorials by any random person on YouTube. as for organizing your cc folders, part of it is preference and part of it is for ease of finding and fixing things. there are also plenty of tips/tricks/tools/tutorials for this aspect of simming out there too.

hii! i hope you're doing good. I just have a question to ask i hope i'm not bothering you, how do you manage to clean out your mods folder? like what are your tips. I feel like whenever i try to clean out stuff i don't use its hard because i try to tell myself i'll use it one day but then i never do

I export the households and lots that I care about so I don't lose that specific cc, and then I start a brand new mods folder.

I started out with furniture since that's where I tend to hoard the most cc. I gave myself a limit of 25GB of furniture and then started downloading furniture sets from creators I knew I'd use. After getting the foundational furniture cc and moving over the genetics and cc of my main household, I will use a mod manager. My old cc folder was pretty organized, so a lot of it moved cc from my old folder to my new mods folder and then sorted through the cc in batches of 100-300 files. I used mod manager to filter out the heaviest files first and gave myself a limit of 2-6GB of cc per folder (besides my furniture folder). Overall, I gave myself a limit of 55-65GB of mods, and as soon as I hit 60GB, I deleted everything from my old mods folder, lol. This is a bit tedious, and it took me two days. I had over 120GB of cc and rn I'm at 60GB. When I download new pieces of cc, I put them in my "Sorting" folder, then I force myself to open mod manager, look through the files I need to sort and delete what I don't want, and put everything in their respective places.

ALSO DELETE THE EXTRA VERSIONS OF CC YOU DONT USE. YOU DO NOT NEED 5 VERSIONS OF THE SAME CC HAIR WITH EXTRA STRANDS!!! And also, a lot of cc are just frankenmeshes of EA content so I got rid of items that were mesh edits.

Your sims 2 UI mod is breaking a bunch of textures of wall papers and certain objects. can you please address and fix this??

I'm guessing the purple looking question mark on the DX11 version of the game?

this is my game, with the sims 2 ui mod out of my mods folder, DX11 on since this is where most of that texture issue happen, cache files deleted beforehand:

so as you can see.. since it still persists without my UI mod, it's not my thing to fix but the individual creators of which the CCs with the "broken" textures belong to (or you can do it too with the DX11 batch fix tool).

(Broken in quotation as in it's not the creator's fault that there are now new requirements for setting up the texture sizes, and the devs might fix the issue from their end and make all CCs work with DX11 and DX9 regardless of how the CCs are set up.)

So far all EA wallpapers work fine, which is why I assume it's the wallpaper CCs and not the UI mod, or else we would've gotten it on the EA wallpapers too.

aside from this specific issue, I don't know of anything else, texture-wise, that could've been affected by my UI mod (so far most issue associated w/ the lovestruck patch have been addressed, only the werewolf icon left). If you have any more specifics that are not this, you're more than welcome to send another ask.

anyway, I tried to find the reason why it breaks the way it does and here's my understanding of it below the cut.

Using this nostalgia living wallpaper as an example:

on short & tall walls, you get the question mark. on medium wall, it works fine.

after running the Sims 4 Studio's DX11 fix and with my sims 2 ui mod back on, with the wall height set to short & tall:

problem fixed, and the sims 2 UI mod still doesn't affect it in any way.

what's the difference and why does it only happen on the short & tall walls? first, here's what the dx11 fix does based on andrew's comment, which suggests that any textures that are not in the power of 2 will likely get the question mark.

Build/Buy images always need mip maps. The batch fix scales non powers of 2 up or down to the nearest power of 2, so it could either increase or decrease in size depending on how close the image is to the next power of 2.

on this nostalgia living wallpaper for the short wall height:

texture before dx11 fix: 1024 x 768 pixels (768 is not a power of 2) texture after dx11 fix: 1024 x 512 pixels (512 is a power of 2)

here's a comparison between the texture sizes before the dx11 fix:

medium, which works fine: width & height are 1024 px (both are powers of 2) short & tall, which has the question mark texture: has 768 px & 1280 px height (both are not powers of 2)

on EA walls, you can always expect texture sizes to be 256 x 512 px (for short & medium) and 256 x 1024 px (for tall height walls) or 512 x 512 px and 1024 x 1024 px for square textures.

here's how you can fix the "broken" files yourself:

on Sims 4 Studio > Content Management > Batch Fixes > Misc > Update Images for DX11

and finally, additional info on what to expect when a UI mod is actually the one behind an issue (again, based on my own understanding and may not encompass every issue there are):

misplaced/mismatched icons/UIs (most known: broken GUI/buttons/empty trait icons in CAS as it gets broken every. single. patch.)

missing grey llama texture, most often attributed to missing/wrong icon texture size.

being prevented from accessing certain features/modes and may cause lastUIExceptions (sometimes non-UI mods do it too).

some features not working as intended, likely caused by conflicting UI mod files.

If you are like me, you have hundreds of saved recipes, fashion inspiration, workouts, tutorials, etc, on tiktok that you don't want to lose. This tutorial let's you batch download directly from a tiktok users page on a PC or MAC or even Linux. If you want to download YOUR saved videos, you must make those folders public first. You can use this for your own account, and any public accounts.

Tiktok is going to become progressively more censored and influenced in the coming weeks, based on what we're already seeing. It's time to take what you need from the app, and get off of it if you can. This tool made it much easier to leave tiktok because all the collections I've curated are now safely on my hard-drive! ts4 players, check if you've cleaned out your sims 4 studio > batch fixes folder recently. i just deleted 10gb of files i didn't need anymore from my hard drive

To find the rpa to extract you need to navigate to the steam folder in your program files then steamapps > common > our life beginnings and always > game

The archive.rpa will be there!! From there it's the same steps that I explained here to decompile the assets!! The voice lines are in the voice folder, which oragnized by character and step!! It's pretty convinent. (Even if it's hard to find a particular line since their names are pretty generic)

The audio are .ogg files which depending on your media player should play but I kinda don't like them so I batch convert them to .mp3 using Audcaity.

Just select all of the audio files in a folder, drag them into Audacity, (might take a while and even tho they're all open in the same project it's fine) just click file > export > export multiple and they'll all export out as invidiual .mp3 files!!

Make sure you're exporting them to a new folder or if you want to keep the .mp3s in the folder where you found them before converting I'd suggest deleting the .oggs in the folder before pressing export in Audacity!! It won't cause an issue with exporting, that's how I've been doing it!!

That should explain it but if you need any help I'll do what I can!! Hope you enjoy being able to listen to Cove's voice to your heart's content!!

1. Is writing a hobby or way of life?

100% a way of life. It kind of has been since I was a child. I was sick all the time and had story ideas, so I started writing them down when I was too sick to go to school. I got bored of just reading and wanted to make my own.

2. A journal full of writing notes or a clean, completed manuscript?

Well, currently I have folders upon folders of notes for my fantasy novel, but obviously I would like a clean, completed manuscript at some point. The entire work is 28k words at the moment.

3. Who (or what) is your writing inspiration?

My special interests for sure. Obviously How to Train Your Dragon, but when I get into something, I really get into it. Lol, one could say autism is my writing inspiration.

4.Which is worse: someone you "idolize" reading your first draft or listening to you sing?

Probably someone I idolize reading my first draft. I'm getting a lot better at receiving rejection and critique but it's still very hard for me. I had a good singing voice before I had covid. (The band teacher and the chorus teacher in high school would fight over who got to have me. I chose band.) Covid has absolutely wrecked my singing voice, but I think I can get it back with practice. So yeah, I'll take someone listening to me sing over reading my first draft.

5. Has writing from someone else's POV ever changed your own perspective?

I don't think so, no.

6. Tumblr, AO3, LiveJournal, or FFN?

Ao3. One time ao3 logged me out and I was like: "What are you doing? I live here!" I do have fics on tumblr that have over 100 notes and I have no clue how that happened, especially when I look at interaction now. Interaction and fandom as a community are just dying on this website. Oh, and fanfiction.net was so horrible that I deleted all my stories from there and never looked back.

7. AO3 wordcount, and are you satisfied with it?

3,125,805. I'm more than satisfied. I'm stunned. And for some reason self conscious? I've had people call me crazy for writing so much fanfic, especially for the same fandom, and it just hurts, because this is my passion. What did you think I was going to do? Hit 1 million words and stop writing? No fucking way.

8. What movie/book/fic gripped you irrevocably?

Movies and shows: How to Train Your Dragon, Good Omens, Teen Wolf

Books: Hard to say because I only really recently got back into reading. I haven't written fanfic for a book since I wrote a single Captive Prince fic. Oh man, Captive Prince was so good. Thank you pro censorship people for recommending it! (People got so mad about it and the themes in it that I decided I had to read it. So worth it.)

Fics: I'm so, so gripped by @lifblogs Bad Batch fic: Brother, Hold Me Up. That thing is an absolute work of art.

9. What's the highest compliment you could ever be given, and have you been given it?

I think the highest compliment I got was someone reading Infernal Fascination of all things with their book club. Like, this person would give me updates about what was said during meetings and they just devoured it. It was awesome.

10. What defines your writing style?

Visceral description and poetic prose. I like to think.

my GShade presets are all my own personal presets. I think that one’s preset is such nice way to add a unique touch to pictures & I won’t share any of my presets for that reason.

“I just downloaded X set, and my game won’t start”

this can happen for a few reasons; your game isn’t up to date, you have a lot of duplicate packages, or files got corrupted while downloading. If you download a lot of fully finished builds with merged cc (or into different files), you could end up with a lot of duplicates of the same object. This could cause your game to be slower or even not start at all. Secondly, downloading a lot of files at the same time, especially on patreon, seems to be causing problems & corrupting files. The corrupted files will cause your game to either crash at start or give you an error message. Try taking the last files you downloaded out of your Mod folder and re-downloading the set, or sets, only one part at the time. This seems to always work for me. My content is tested by multiple people (and me) before uploading & I would not upload broken content. If you are facing issues with an older set of mine, it is most likely a problem that occurred while downloading or with your game/mod folder. I am always happy to help when it comes to my content, but I will not “fix” any other creator’s content. In short, make sure to check for: - batch fix (e.g. broken beds updates) - game updates - cc duplicates - corrupted files Lastly, if you did all the above, and are still having problems, do not hesitate to send me a direct message (DM). When it comes to troubleshooting, I will not answer comments below posts for the simple reason that it makes it difficult to have a conversation. Going back and forth with replies into a comment section makes it too difficult since it will most likely require going through a few steps to solve any further issues.

no, I dont. I often take suggestions or make small polls on my social media (insta & patreon), feel free to follow me & participate in those, send me pictures of things you like etc.

Hi Anna, I know you mentioned a while ago that you had made your own lighting mod so I was wondering if you have a tutorial for how to go about that?

there used to be a great in-depth tutorial for this by lunar-nelfean (which is how i learned to do it, so all credit for the discovery to them), but since they've deactivated their blog i'll make a quick one. for posterity. and google results

Sims 4 Edit World Lighting Tutorial

Navigate to Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4. If you want to change the lighting for an expansion pack world, go to the Delta folder and choose an EP folder. If you want to change the Base Game lighting, go to Data\Shared\Worlds\Areas. BGEngagement 0-3 is Newcrest, all worlds with a GD prefix are Willow Creek and SO prefix is Oasis Springs.

Copy the .world files you want to edit, as you can't save files in your game folder. I recommend saving a backup of the original EA ones too, just in case you don't like your edits and want a clean slate, or want to go back to EA lighting without having to repair your game.

2. Open "World Color Timeline" and click Edit Items.

3. From there, you're off to the races. Change any values you like. The names are mostly are self-explanatory as to what they change. Sometimes you notice a huge difference on changing values, and other times you might not. Some effects (like bloom) are only visible when you have Post Processing Effects on in your settings. You just have to experiment!

It's a bit difficult to visualize what each one of those colors is going to look like in game, so back when I was still planning to make a lighting mod, I spent way too much time making a sheet to help visualize what each color looks like at each time of day for certain values. The top colors are EA's original for San Myshuno, and the bottom is basically a recolor I made by just changing the hue/saturation (I used the eyedropper in Photoshop to get the RGB and changed the values in S4S to match). Hopefully this can help you get a rough idea of what decimal number corresponds to what time of day.

4. Each 'World Timeline Color' represents a season, hence the 4 entries in the box. When you're done editing, if you want the same values for each season, delete the bottom 3 World Timeline Color entries, then copy your edited one 3 times. Change the PointofInterestID. Make sure you have 00000000, 00010000, 00020000 and 00030000. When you're ready, save!

5. To quickly copy your custom lighting to the other neighborhood files for the world, batch export the World Timeline Color file.

Open another neighborhood, click on World Timeline Color and click Import.

6. Save, repeat for the rest of the neighborhood files, and you're done! Drag your edited files into your Sims 4 game folder, replace the existing ones, and go in game to see your changes :D

Sorry it has been awhile since things have broken when the sims switched to DirectX11. I know I have not been really active cause I have honestly lost some interest in cc creation as I have started working this past year after finishing my masters last year and with my ADHD, I have lost that hyperfixiation. Anyway, I have updated all of the items that were broken from that update. I will include a link to a folder of all of the fixed items and will also try and update all of the original posts as well. If you do not feel like going through and deleting and redownloading things, Sims4Studio has a batch fix that will fix everything for you.

DX11 update - all 20 of my wallpaper sets

Better late than never))

Apparently, there was an issue with wallpapers caused by the game migration to DX11, which I missed last year. The walls size has changed and it broke all my wallpapers on short and high walls.

I've fixed them with Sims 4 Studio batch fix, so if you are on DX11 please !delete! the old files (as I renamed some of them to follow the same pattern) and download the new from the folder below:

Clearing out my FireAlpaca files for CSP Part 2!

We got some moreeeeeee........ Because I forgottttt..... Anyways-

These ones are sorted by year!! So smart I know (but only from one folder there's still so much more)

All these ones are from 2023! Yeah woof old

First one is a drawing I started inspired by a Tumblr post! Someone made the idea of a Pokemon game/character who was just a depressed college dropout and I got attached (still am), I have another drawing of these two actually!

Second was just a doodle I made of my then spidersona jes' hangin out

Third was some posing practice with Seidou Takizawa from Tokyo Ghoul! He's so messed up I actually adore his character so much and no I don't have a type for white hair why'd you say that, that's preposterous haha what the hel-

Fourth is an OC of mine named Pho! That is all, I'm not explaining any more of who it is jes' in case, it is jes a fella

Fifth WIP was a shitpost I was making of my half-skelekid Cambrian, the kiddo of Thing and Wyle! You can actually see them in tatatale's ALIVE comic giving their Hopes and Dreams in a lil corner asdfghjkl

2024 Time!!

Oug there's so many this time-

AIGHT; First three in order are: Designs I made for my Civ Event Character when I was in Ish's Social Experiment (this design has changed btw), Yooo the Pikmin released a FIRE album for Dandadan's intro, And fun in-between Afterdeath chapter art I was making for my Lustmare fic 'The Seven Deadly Skele-Sins'! I find Geno being stronger than Reaper very much so. Yup, very much; that is all.

Second batch of four is my Pokemon art of that year! First time trying to draw Guzma, beloved bug boss man ough coughcoughwhitehaircough, and there was more to that drawing but I only liked how I drew him so the rest was deleted lmao. Told ya I had more art of the Tumblr Pokemon guy and the Trubbish!! I took my own creative spin for this one, and added a lil custom detail to Trubbish to help them stand out and connect the two! Also yeah, purposefully a smaller Trubbish And the last one was just me trying out more pose practice with my old Pokemon character👍

THE ONE PIECE IS REAL- yeah those two are just Pokemon art, one being a close-up of the first lol. First one was a design concept of an 'Isekai' species I was thinking of making, specifically for OP (self-insert logic'd go brrr) The other one was simply a SunGlasses/Kobylu doodle I never finished

Next two were more concept drawings for a completely different idea I had! A series I maybe called 'Roost', from what I remember about a young vampire girl being low-key adopted by a very downlow/tame vampire hunter. I still like the outfit I made for her but ya it was just a spontaneous idea I had for a week or so

Fixing Broken CC - Step by Step

I've noticed that over the years, CC I loved in the past get left, well, in the past. Build essentials and item go-tos get destroyed by updates and the modders who made them never return. So I have compiled a guide to get your broken cc back up and running. Software to install: Sims 4 Studio (S4S) [windows] [mac] Believe it or not, but at least half of the issues I have ever faced could could be solved by s4s. Right up at the top bar is a menu item called "Content Management" > Batch Fixes. This is your best friend.

Most any batch that broke CC can be quickly (do note that if you have a lot of cc, the word "quickly" should be changed to "slowly but automatically") fixed for you. Once the script has finished updating your CC, you will get to see what CC updated, what cc could not be updated, and what CC did not need to be fixed by the script. But what if it didn't help? What if you're like me, with an adorable music box CC item that still has the option "Listen to..." instead of "Play", rendering it useless? What then? Since you have downloaded (and hopefully ran) S4S at least once, you should have a sims4studio folder in your DOCUMENTS folder on your computer.

Inside of this folder, you're going to click on "Mods" and drag and drop the CC item that you want to edit

Now you are going to want to go to S4S and select Object Override. (click on the word "Object" to proceed).

In the drop downs section, find "Content" and select "Custom". If you do not see your custom content, close and reopen S4S.

Save the package file somewhere where you will be able to find it later. I choose my downloads folder. Give it a name (I choose the items original name then add "- Edited"). Once it is saved, you will be on an overwhelming screen. Ignore it. At the top, you will see two options: Studio and Warehouse. Select Warehouse then go a little higher to where it says "Tools". Select Extract Tuning...

What we are going to do from here is rip the working parts off of a base game EA item. In my case, I will be ripping the functionality off of an EA stereo. Almost any item you would be fixing would be under the naming convention "object/object_[item name]". in the top bar, type that.

Pick anything that will work. In my case, that would be the highlighted item. After you have selected the item from the list, click "Add to current Package". and close the window. Now towards the bottom of that Warehouse tab, you should see something called "Object Tuning". For me, it is the second to the bottom.

When you click on it, you get two tabs on the right-hand side: XML and Data.

--OPTIONAL SECTION--

In XML, you can change some interesting things. In my case, I want to change "Trigger_random_state" which controls what radio stations get selected when you click turn on > random in game.

Personally, I don't want my music box playing anything by Lullabies, Classical, and Baroque, even when randomly playing music. If you scroll down a bit to "client states, you can find a list of every radio station.

For my example of only letting a music box play Classical, Lullabies, and Baroque, I will delete everything from "client_states" except those options (keep stereochannel_off and stereochannel_randomPick).

Make sure to keep every <u> and </u> as well as the </L> at the end. Now you can copy the stations you kept and go up to the random section from before.

You might notice that the random section has n="state_value" where our added items all have n="key". We will want to fix that.

Delete our "off" and "randomPick" options then delete the preexisting options in the trigger_random_state.

--EXIT OPTIONAL SECTION-- Now that your item does what you want it to do and you have (optionally) deleted functionality that you don't want the item to have, you should be able to mess with the "Data" tab.

Change the "Name" section to [your name]:[object name]. Once you click off of that box (or hit enter), you will see that the TuningId becomes a lot longer.

Go to the "Object Definition" file from the right side of your screen.

In there you will see Tuning and Tuning ID. Copy the name you just wrote in Object Tuning > Data to the Tuning box and the TuningId from Object Tuning > Data to the other TuningId. (TuningId might autofill for you. Just copy and paste anyway to be sure).

Now you should be able to save this file and move it back into your Sims 4 mods folder. --RESULTS-- The white, unedited music box still has the old (and broken) "Listen to" function.

However, our edited music box now has the working "Turn on" function.

[AUTHORS NOTE: I accidentally deleted the 'Sims Data' file in S4S, so the 'Put in inventory' option did not show up in screenshots. If you follow my directions to a T and do not accidentally delete "pointless files", you should see all of the options.]

And even better, now the music box can only play the three stations that we wanted it to in the optional section.

--FINAL NOTES-- Let's say you're like me. You have a couple of music boxes that need to be fixed. Going through all of these steps all over again is more hassle than its word. That's where the "Import" and "Export buttons come into handy. On BOTH the Object Tuning and Sims Data XML files you have on the object you have JUST EDITED, click the "Export" button and save the xml files as somethings like "Music Box Object Tuning" and "Music Box Sim Data".

Once you have exported both files, begin the first steps two of this process (Object > Override then selecting the item you wish to override). At the bottom of the Workshop page. you will see an "Add" button. Click on it, then add an Object Tuning and a Sim Data file.

Once you have both, they will look like this and be completely empty.

Now go ahead and click the import button (right next to the export button we used earlier) and import the tuning xml and the data xml into their appropriate files in S4S. If you go to Object Tuning > Data, you will see that the name of the tuning stayed the same BUT THE TUNING ID DID NOT. Once these items have been added, go ahead and update the Object Definition and use the "save" button in the bottom right corner. Now all you have to do is click and drag this file into your mods folder! Happy Simming!

hiiii 3DS tour!!!!

from the day i first got it, i knew to name it Happiness..... nothing deep about it i just wanted to say "my mom took my Happiness away for exam week :("

a bit of a reveal but i'm the anxious sticker placer anon haha it's still plain to this day if not for a few scratches (a lot actually but it's not that noticeable, right? qwq)

the barcode and numbers are super faded i can't read them!! plus the scratches are much more noticeable, im not sure where most of them came from but i remember one of them is when i accidentally dropped a screwdriver on it oops

the cartridge is pokemon black 2!! i've had this game before Happiness. yup i have a metallic rose DS lite that's sooo busted up, (well i had a coral pink DS lite before that but i got mugged when i was like 7 years old and it's gone which is a story for another time)

anyway, metallic rose had dead pixels that spread like some fungus, L button didnt work at all, buttons feel gross to press now, etc yknow normal 7 year old not knowing the value of things thing

i'd send a picture but it's back at my old house, pray that the spiders know how to play dig dig dug

i deleted the shortcuts for the DS games i finished, also it took me way too long how to inject GBA and other games into 3DS

kurapika folder (bottom left folder) contains videos and movies! i figured out how to convert them but it's so hard to find download links to the movies i like now :(

also did you know the first 3 volumes of hunter x hunter are on the japanese eshop? i can't read japanese but i keep them because i like the novelty of it
