#while it was very much a traumatic series of events that left me with horrible mental health I just find it funny how my fixation #of family bonds in fandoms is a result of both my parents abandoning me #and then being told by my grandpa that he and my gran never wanted to take me in either and only wanted a free sitter #and then basically finding out I most likely will not be able to have kids myself even though i want to be a parent so bad #because of a combination of things #woohoo let's just live vicariously through fictional characters and get deeply attached #and give them the love and care I needed #honestly if i had just been given up at birth instead of cared for at first until my mom had healthier non disabled kids #it probably wouldn't affect me as much that I wasn't wanted #I was loved once but the moment she found out she could actually have more kids it was over

It’s very funny if Steve befriends a hellfire member and it’s just…not Eddie.

Like, Steve gets the shit kicked out of him, comes back to school, and immediately gets partnered up with Jeff in their personal finance class.

And…honestly, this is kinda nice for Jeff.

He only took this elective because it wasn’t a gym class. Steve is actually pretty knowledgeable about this stuff and when he isn’t, he asks his dad. Their fake business is out preforming everybody else’s.

Then the project is over and Steve….Just doesn’t go away. He’s sitting next to him in class. He’s following out into the hallway. He’s talking to him about sports, and then once he realizes Jeff doesn’t know anything about sports starts asking him questions so he’s the one talking.

It’s weird. It’s really weird but so far, it’s only been confined to the hallway between Mr. Sinnett’s classroom and Jeff’s locker.

But today.

Today, he’s coming up to him in the lunch line and asking if he wants to come over to watch a movie this evening, and like, “It’s fine if you’re busy. My parents are out of town and like, I’m free after I drop my friend off at the Snowball.”

“Isn’t the Snowball a middle school dance?”

“Yeah.”

And now Steve is following him. To his table. With his friends. Who decidedly don’t know about this - whatever this is thing is going on with Steve. Who are watching them right now. Jeff is just like, “I’ll think about it.”

“Cool! Let me know before the end of the day so I can be ready,” Steve says with a big smile, shooting him finger guns as he leaves.

Jeff finished walking to his table and when he sits down, Eddie asks in a voice that’s going to be killing off his characters in the next ten D&D campaigns, “What was that about?”

#Eddie and jealousy is a lethal combination and Jeff is just like: I’m sorry I’m living your dream. #hello again everyone. how's it going #isat loop #in stars and time #isat fanart #in stars and time fanart #isat #lucabyteart #isat spoilers #so. had this idea Before getting my hands on the artbook and being validated. literally have a voice note from 4:30am on the 8th where #i frantically noted down this just horrid horrid horrid caption because i'd been musing on the sasasap Dress line all day i suppose #just kind of rotating in my brain the way any kind of first time trying on new clothes for them would be .#just absolutely mental breakdown material and not one i think would be recovered from quickly. they hate being in their own skin #like. a lot? like a lot. the collateral of any kind of transfemme read was barely in my mind until it ended up relevant again while i was #actively working on this. because christ that's a bad combo. 2x different forms of body dysphoria in one. maybe even 3x somehow #plus any scenario where they get clothes is... likely gifted. something they react viciously negatively to in game and i doubt #would improve thereafter. just a veritable katamari of disgust and self-loathing #like i was mostly just thinking abt how a lot of our collective depictions of loop being alienated from their body are rather abstract #in a body horror way mostly. on account of loop being more of a metaphor than a person half the time. so i think i wanted to depict #something closer to just. a human level of body dysphoria. no focus on the whole duplicate thing just... raw disgust for the self #but with the addition of recent discussion and playing ball more with the she/her loop and transfem loop angle...#scenario of leaning into femininity to try throw off suspicion on who they are PLUS realising they might want that PLUS the party #trying to use this to bond with them PLUS body dysphoria PLUS new!gender dysphoria PLUS the usual revulsion for wanting and desire #like. that is a catastrophic combination . not coming out of that one without it getting worse for a few weeks thereafter #that's a real lash out at everyone around them and then recede in shame type breakdown. which im sure looks interesting from #the party's pov because jesus christ that touched a nerve something awful (<- they only have half the context AT BEST)#. so . there's your free scenario to ponder on if you'd want to. seeing as ive done a picture without a shitload of words on it for once #ALSO don't get smart with me in the tags about the mirror test being an absolutely ass test in most regards re: self-awareness #or that things like minnows pass it. i'm a fellow pedant dont worry. it's just that minnow doesn't really have the same ring as dog yknow?#this is supposed to be like an absolutely excruciatingly self loathing thought spoken aloud of a caption. it's pithy and cruel on purpose #and more than a little inspired by (reblogged yesterday) liminal space's 'there is no other dog. it's just you'

Dark AU, Arkham patient! Jazz Fenton.

Sadly, Jazz Fenton is convinced that her brother Danny is still alive, that Phantom didn't kill him, that ghosts are actually sentient and not necessarily evil. Clearly she was brainwashed by Phantom who was pretending to be her brother.

The GIW graciously don't charge her with the crime of violating the anti-ecto act by protecting ghosts as a kindness to her parents who have done so much good work. She is sent to a mental hospital outside of Amity Park because they think she will recover better away from ghosts.

Well Arkham doesn't know what is about to hit it and Jazz is going to do whatever it takes to escape and save her brother.

#i think this could be well combined with arkham patient Jason and Jazz/Jason ship #Maybe Jason senses that Jazz is Important (ghost princess) and they team up to escape together #Jason is happy to have his murder urges turned on people who deserve it #you could take this two ways depending on your taste. Either the bats actually help and realize what is happening OR they are the antagonis #if Jason is there than probably they are antagonists. Even though he was treated okay there in the comics actually #but we can ignore canon for angst if we want #does this one exist yet? I have seen villain jazz and dark jazz but not this specifically #mostly i see AUs where she works at Arkham #some quick content warnings for implied:#psychiatric abuse #medical abuse #psych abuse #Although I am a bit tired of the use of medical abuse in Arkham in canon and fanon.#It would be neat to see it portrayed as a place that actually tries to help people.#Because in canon they do try to make it better!! So it would be interesting if Jazz wasn't abused in the typical way here #instead they ARE trying to help her but they are just WRONG about her 'illness'. It would make things more fucked up actually.#Like wouldn't it be MORE fucked up if she was treated well? If her parents were kind and supportive? Trying to help her 'recover'.#Imagine the Fentons bringing sweets books games to their 'sick' child. The only child they have left. #kingdom hearts dream drop distance #khddd #sora #riku #nightmare's end #mirage split #my gif #i was going to write up a whole thing in the tags about my thoughts on this keyblade #but i just know it'll be an incoherent essay because i can't properly articulate my thoughts #the x-blade must be forged through a clash of light and darkness #but i find it so highly significant that sora and riku can create their own keyblade which is so unheard of #this keyblade isn't created with a clash but rather through harmony and balance #not with conflict but with understanding and connection and love #and i always felt as though that's how the x-blade SHOULD be forged. that master xehanort went about it all wrong #because balance and connections are such important themes in these games #it has two handles and looks so regal when combined. all of the shapes feel reminiscent of the x-blade too #it shines so brilliantly with both sora and riku's symbols. the heart and crown which is the iconic logo for the entire series #also the way stained glass is always used to represent hearts. it's so significant!#and yeah the paupu fruit keychain is its own thing to unpack #okay so i ended up writing something anyway but there's still so much more #i just really hope we get to see more of this in future games because it would be shocking if it was nothing more than a cool combo attack
