You’re almost there- then you realize your mom used you to ruin what was supposed to be your new life, and you’re there trying to stop her for once because this was your only hope and you just watch her stomp on it as you watch her say that your only use in life was being her key to invading a kingdom. But you didn’t want this, so for once you argue back but it’s useless and then this random woman you’re mom clearly despises comes up and challenges her but you’re just silently begging her to stop and leave because you can’t see anymore blood spilt, and then your mom puts her life in your hands. You can’t do it, you verbally now beg her to just freaking kneel because you don’t want to be the monster your mom is. But then she says you can’t do it, this woman who you were just begging to save herself says that you can’t be the one thing that will make yourself something good enough. So you do it, but you don’t feel any better because you know it’s wrong and you just can’t see another person die. The blood can’t be on your hands this time. But then you see that cheery girl you called annoying (annoyingly pretty that is, but you’re not gonna admit that out loud) from earlier yelling and screaming at you, you’re taking away someone else’s mom, a mom who actually is good enough that her kid is begging for her. You decide you have to fix this but you accidentally bring angry girl with you because she’s about to be stupid like her mom and you can’t see another person die. So back in time you go, you discover your mom was good, you fall in love with the girl, and you fix everything. You go back and it’s all amazing. But now everyone expects you to be this different version of you that you were not, because you weren’t the one who grew up with the sweet queen of hearts, had friends, and a normal life. You’re the messed up version who’s seen to much, and now you just.. have to figure it out. And your only help is the bubbly girl you fell for and you both just can’t ever tell another soul. Everyone’s depending in it.

That was Red’s life.

Sometimes I simply can’t forget how horrible and difficult things must’ve been for her. She’s stronger than most of us are. I don’t know how disney is going to have to deal with it in the next movie but I expect at least one year jerking scene or I will protest.

Summary/Warnings: Takes place in Chapter 14. We once again face the horny fluff.

When you’d told Ben you were okay with him touching you in front of everyone, your exact phrasing was as long as you’re not gross. You’re absolutely positive he’d heard you as well, because he’d rolled his eyes before kissing the words out of your mouth.

But the man doesn’t listen. On purpose. You know it’s on purpose, because usually he’ll grunt and grumble but do what you tell him, and right now he’s not even pretending to remember.

What’s annoying is that you’re not even that mad about it. What’s more annoying is that he knows you’re not mad about it, because he’s not even worried about you making him stop. Ben never pushes your lines to tries try see if he can make you budge, because he knows you won’t and he’ll get in trouble. But that also means he’s impossibly good at knowing what lines aren’t real. What things you tell him to do that you say because sometimes you just say stuff. Sometimes you’re just trying to pretend that you’re not always thirsty for him, don’t always want him at your side.

And the asshole has you figured out. He knows that when you say we’re going to team dinners every night you mean it, but when you say play nice with everyone you’re talking about everyone except Butcher. Ben knows that if you tell him clean up after yourself you’re serious, because that’s the start of it. Ben cleans up once and now, months later, you somehow trust him with your life and every part of you he’ll take. He also knows if you tell him we need to get out of bed he can just hold you tighter and you’ll immediately give in with a sigh.

He knows when you say not everything, not yet it’s important that he listens. That he can take everything else he wants except that, and he does. Ben touches you everywhere you’ll let him, but waits for you to give him the clear to take more.

He knows that when you said don’t be gross you just meant don’t make me visibly horny in front of everyone. Don’t make me grind into you or pin me on top of the table. 

And he is walking that line very precariously.

“Bloody fuckin hell,” Butcher mutters, and you can feel his glare from across the table. “You twats can’t keep it in your pants for one hour? Some of us are tryin to eat.”

“They are still in their pants,” Frenchie’s words are muffled from a mouthful of pasta. “And I am eating just fine.”

“That’s cause you’re a fuckin pervert, Mate.” Butcher snaps. “I didn’t come here to see two supes neckin like teenagers. I came here because Hughie gets all bloody puppy faced when I don’t.”

“You promised-“

Butcher cuts Hughie off with a scoff. “I’m here, ain’t I? And I would appreciate it if I could fuckin eat my shitty ass spaghetti without worryin that Soldier Boy’s gonna cum all over the table!”

A chorus of groans echoes through the room, and it’s almost enough to make you push Ben away.

Almost. But he drops his mouth to your neck, pulls you closer in his side, and you decide you can find a way to live with yourself.

You’re starting to worry that he can read your mind. Because before that brief hesitation even fades, Ben sucks the skin at the base of your throat once—sloppy and wet—and pulls away. You’re grateful, half because you can bury your flushed face in his shoulder as he gives Butcher a lazy grin, and half because you were getting dangerously close to climbing on top of him.

“It’s not our fault all you pussies have blue balls.” Ben drawls, and you kick him under the table, glaring up at his stupid, smug, handsome face.

Don’t be an ass.

He rolls his eyes. They’re being fucking prudes.

Benjamin.

“You two care to have this conversation out loud?” You turn to see MM looking at you with a bored expression. He’s never really pissed about this anymore, and you think he just gave up on being disgusted. He doesn’t like it, but he’s not mad. It’s honestly more than you could ask for.

“No.”

You whack Ben’s arm. “Sorry. We’ll stop.”

Ben scoffs, and hunches over his plate. His arm over your shoulders drops down, tugging you into his side so you can only move your hands—everything past that trapped against his body—and you don’t care. He’s touching you, and he’s warm, and you can feel his annoyance but it’s nothing compared to his desire. It’s nothing compared to the affection you can feel rush through him when you give him a smile, even if he just grunts and glares at his pasta like it’s the one that cock-blocked him.

You know it’s a lie. You might not lie to Ben, but you lie a lot to your team. You lie to Hughie when you say you like certain Billy Joel songs because you don’t want him to gape at you and try to convince you otherwise. You lie to Frenchie when you say you’d love nothing more than to hear about his latest supe-killing weapon, because he gets really excited—it’s kind of adorable—and sometimes it’s actually pretty interesting. You lie to Annie when she picks you up for lunch and asks—every time without fail—what’s going on between you and Ben. You say it’s complicated, but it’s not. It’s actually really simple: You want Ben more than you’ve ever wanted anything and he wants you but not like that, just as a friend he can fuck. And that kills you a little, so you’re trapped in this limbo where Ben can almost make you moan at the dinner table—but you won’t let him just carry you back to your bed and make you scream and fall apart under him—and Annie can give her a look that tells you she knows. She knows you won’t stop doing this. There won’t be more tonight, because Butcher’s still glaring at you and Hughie’s whole face looks like a tomato, but tomorrow the exact same thing will almost certainly happen. Ben will kiss you once, innocently enough if you’d only seen it in passing, and you’ll taste him, you'll feel the want pounding in his chest, and immediately pull him closer. The absolute fucking asshole always anticipates you keeping yourself against him—he plans on it—and his arm will immediately move over your shoulders, hand reaching your jaw to angle your head where he wants it. And then he’ll go and go and go until someone coughs—Hughie or Annie—or makes a remark—Butcher or MM—and he finds whatever line you have for the day. Then he’ll pull back and you have to pretend you’re fine with it. Like your pouting is because he’s being cocky and annoying and not because you wish he would pick you up and lay you on the table. 

It’ll happen the after as well, then again after that, then every night until Butcher either shoots one of you or you figure out a way to just attach Ben to you forever.

Cody: likes neat-ish breakfast foods that have a bunch of flavor, but can be eaten quickly. doesn’t really have drink preferences, but first choice is always ice cold water with a little mint leaf in it. doesn’t hate any food/drink at all, but dislikes cleaning up after eating messy food (think of those very tall sandwiches that have the ingredients spilling out while covered in a sauce).

Wolffe: Big meal + with a snack guy. Has a more intense sweet tooth than expected of a clone, so he likes to pair a sweet snack with whatever he’s eating if he’s able. Hates most seafoods and liquid-y foods, but likes most other things. Doesn’t like to drink water so he either mixes syrups in or deals with it. Usually goes for very doctored-up caf, but his men are too intimidated to tease him for it.

Dogma: prefers non-spicy meaty foods no matter the size, but he ends up usually going for things he can eat in <15 minutes. Forcing himself to like vegetables for several reasons, but it isn’t going that well. Dislikes too-sweet things because of a fear of cavities and the burning/“full” feeling his mouth and throat gets. Denies having a drink preference at all, but he prefers just plain milk.

Rex: LOVES stews and salads and doesn’t care about anything else the entire time he’s eating. would love to have them for every meal if he could. Likes energy drinks and fruit smoothies even if he hates most sweet foods/drinks (gets made fun of for this by brothers and Ahsoka). also, not a messy eater but a loud eater, doesn’t care if it’s annoying.

Fox: despite being near so much food and eating a large variety of it, never actually developed a preference for particular kinds because he doesn’t feel hunger and everything is just “fuel” to him. Does prefer protein shakes and energy drinks, but can’t stand caf (smell is too strong for him, but will drink it if there’s nothing else). sometimes considers faking having generic preferences so his men stop trying to trick him into eating inedible things.

Stone: loves spicy & greasy foods, but is overall very adventurous when it comes to food, will try anything at least once. likes fruit juices and most alcoholic drinks, but won’t make efforts to get the latter since he’s usually very busy. genuinely hates bland food/drinks and won’t finish them, leads to some arguments/teasing/dares with others. has a citrus allergy but assumes it’s just a thing everyone goes through.

Bly: actually loves seafood prepared in any way (including raw), won’t eat any other meat dishes though. Likes any tea, hot water, and milkshakes. dislikes alcohol & caf + their smell and will sneer / walk away if someone is drinking it near him. wouldn’t consider himself vegetarian, but nearly everyone else does. also, hates being watched and talked to while eating, and gets angry/uncomfortable if he’s the only one eating in a group.

Drayton Sawyer:

Drayton sometimes gets annoyed by you demanding him to do stuff for you. Drayton feels bad if you start crying, or you get really emotional because of some things.. Drayton will also try and soothe you whatever you're emotional about!

If you ask for cuddles because you are cold or you either want to just cuddle, Drayton will cuddle with you if you want to! Drayton would do his famous chili when you are really hungry too! He would absolutely yell at his brothers to shut up if they're being loud, and just let you relax in quietness. If you ask him to massage you, Drayton will do it but only a few minutes and then he's done. But overall, Drayton loves you and tries his best to take care of you and the baby!

Nubbins Sawyer:

Nubbins would try and soothe you whenever you feel really emotional about something. Here are some things that Nubbins would try to soothe you, he would try hugging you, make you laugh with his singing voice, or tickling you! (I can already imagine this boy would try to sing, and it ends up making you die of laughter from his singing 🤣.)

He'll be kissing your baby bump so many times, and rub his cheek on your baby bump too! Nubbins will try not to bring any dead animals beside you or smell like those too. He'll definitely cuddle with you to sleep when you ask him to!

Chop-Top Sawyer:

Chop-top isn't really good at soothing you, but he tries at least which you are thankful for! He'll try looking through his other music boxes to find slow music for you! He'll also soothe you with his cuddles, but it's kinda awkward for him, so you had to try and soothe him for that too!

He would definitely praise you, and you would praise him too for taking care of you and the baby! Chop-top would try doing the things you want, for you and your baby!

Bubba Sawyer:

Bubba is always worried about you and the baby! Sometimes when you want to try and sit up on your shared bed, you always have problems because now that your baby is getting bigger, so is your stomach! Which always ends up getting you mad and sad that you can't sit up! Bubba will immediately run upstairs seeing that you need help sitting up, and of course he went to help you! Bubba felt really bad that you started crying because of it.

Bubba would definitely give you his hugs and cuddles! He would also give you kisses everywhere on your body! Bubba would try saying praises to you, but it comes out like blubbering and all that, which it doesn't matter because you love him so much!

Thomas Hewitt:

Thomas hates seeing you be emotional! Sometimes you start crying that you can't make the cravings you want, or drive over there just to get it! Thomas would try hugging you and give you kisses on your forehead to soothe you down! He'll also try making clothes for the baby, in different sizes just for you to be happy!

Thomas would also make you feel better by massaging your body! He would also try and get all his chores/tasks just to spend more time with you before your baby is born! You would definitely give Thomas praises, because of all the things he has done for you and the baby! Thomas would always rub and kiss your tummy, already thinking that he's going to be a great Dad!

a lot of you guys seem like you would love vtubers im going to be honest. especially the corporation vtubers who do a lot of lore and connect their stories to their coworkers and all that, its really up mcrp enjoyers alley. theyre litterally just streamers interacting with each other, playing games, all that. but they also sometimes just do lore drops for their character mid gameplay or drop a whole animated backstory on their youtube channel or drop a whole album. also theres a lot of multilingualism in that sphere if youre into that, since this is my qsmp blog. also worth mentioning theyre constantly flirting with each other, since this is my qsmp blog.

of course its not exactly like mcrp and definitely not even close to a "replacement" the culture surronding vtubers is so so so different. also theres the whole anime avatar thing if you dont like that. also i cant in good conscience recommend a single vtuber corporation or generation to watch because litterally all of them have some shit going on. dont get into nijisanji whatever you do. hololive is hit or miss. smaller agencies could be anything. if you like ironmouse shes in vshojo which is usually chill .... thats all i got

Thinking about if Joel ever bragged about Ellie in conversation with other Jackson residents. The smile he’d get on his face talking about her; anything about her. Big or small, things that anyone else wouldn’t immediately notice, but things that are ingrained in his head. The way she bites back at his teasings, or the face she makes learning about some of the stuff from before, like ice cream trucks. Maybe her determination to make him laugh no matter what. How she lights up when talking about space and all that’s out there to explore and how she will get up there someday. The constant questions, the stubbornness, the strength she has, even at 14-15 years old. Maybe he bragged about how much he loves her art and how she drew a portrait of him that he looks at every day. How it’s proudly mounted on his fireplace. And how he can’t not smile when mentioning it all. Or, when being introduced, he calls her his daughter. Hesitant to say at first, as it’s been a while, but it sounds just as right as it did 21 years ago. Besides, what else is he supposed to call her? Some rascal he picked up a year ago that he loves more than he thought he was capable of? It fits, sure, but he’d definitely be looked at sideways

I hate when I’ll be complaining about some stupid bullshit a coworker does to other coworkers and half the time their response is to lower their voice and go “well…. You know…. I’m pretty sure they’re… on the spectrum, you know?” And every time I have a split second when I have to consider saying “you know I’m autistic, right?” just to make them vaguely uncomfortable for a few minutes and actually think about what they’re implying but of course I do not do that because the gratification is not worth a large sect of shitty coworkers knowing that about me and then talking about me like that every time I do something vaguely annoying or dumb but man…. It does get tempting sometimes
