▣ Did you know that the scene in Lady and the Tramp when Lady pops out of the hatbox on Christmas is inspired by a true story?
While Walt and Lilly Disney celebrated Christmas Eve with family at their home, Walt snuck the puppy into a hatbox, topped it with a large bow, and slipped it under the tree. Lilly was given the box and was, at first, rather disappointed: she loved to buy her own hats. Suddenly, the box moved, and Lilly screamed as a little puppy poked its head out! From that moment on, Lilly was smitten with the dog they named Sunnee, never letting him leave her sight.

My contribution to the @hotguycomiczine, with the collaborative help of @masque-of-plague (writer), and @residenthesitant (editor).

These behind the scenes shorts are the new highlight of my existence.
On a different note, this also confirms our theory that Amalia's design in seasons 3 and 4, especially the orange leaves of her outfit, were meant to represent her emotional state in the face of her inner conflicts, such as her father dying, her embittered relationship with Armand, and her miscommunications with Yugo—as well as everything she goes through in season 4.
Which at the same time seems to indicate that her wardrobe change upon ascending to the throne, that is to say, her green leaves, reflects how, despite everything she's lost, she's much happier now that her kingdom is safe and she's with Yugo.
Just... Poetic cinema.
(Rest assured, I'm 100% going to upload Amalia's concept art without the subtitles)

Another piece of concept art from Kung Fu Panda 2, The Animator's Corner, a sort of documentary extra showing the behind the scenes of Kung Fu Panda 2.
According to Lord Shen, the Furious Five and Po come to him "in chains," but in the movie they are merely shackled. This piece of art is referenced in the Director's Commentary, where the Five "were all chained together at one point, and it just got too crazy..." (Raymond Zibach)
