Actually, Daniela is the nice sister.

Bela is mean, and bossy. She loves being in charge and expects everyone to do to her bidding and she isn’t afraid of using her sharp tongue to put anyone in their place. Definitely not one to be messed with. But she is okay as long as rules are followed and she can appear sane and normal.

Cassandra is mean and a little bit crazy. She just has this gleam in her eyes where you know she isn’t one to mess with. She can snap, unprovoked. She can get violent and does things without an a ounce of fear because what even are consequences? They don’t exist in her books and she takes joy in scaring others so this is kinda her brand now. She loves how intimidating she appears and she takes pride in it. It’s not all for show though, as she can actually deliver because girly is resourceful and can easily end someone if she so desires.

Daniela is delusional but this is as far as it goes. Aside from that, she is actually nice and loves to meet people and make friends, in hopes that she will find her true love one day. She doesn’t go into attack mode unless she is given a reason to. Mostly, she is content spending her time bonding with others and not scare/threaten them. Even in school, while her sisters ARE the known mean girls, she actually was never called that. She’s nice to everyone and doesn’t snap / lash out for no apparent reason.

Alexis, who is one of the main singers for the band, met Elvis Presley when he was barely starting his career and only fate can decide whether or not Alexis will save him.

Chapter Two 

Flashing lights, muffled screaming from fans, sweat beaming down our faces from the bright lights, the music blasting through the room. My ears ringing and all I could feel was my heart beating fast as time felt like it froze for a moment. None of this felt real yet it was, everything that led to this moment was real and even then I could still feel his heavy eyes staring at us, at me. Turning my gaze to my far right behind the huge black velvet curtain stood Elvis Presley. The king of Rock and Roll himself was in a trance peering at me. Even though I couldn’t live in this moment forever, I knew deep down I wanted to stay like this.

It was July 25th, 1955 and Elvis Presley was making a name for himself whilst I had fame to my name already. My head felt clouded with a number of emotions that I couldn’t even name. As I gazed back towards the open crowd of people in the room it was filled with people dancing, security backing people up, and of course big company representatives on a stand to see the stage. My group was only here for what felt like charity work yet at this moment I was happy I came. 

The Velvet Pristin was our group's name and we are the first diverse group that ever lived during our time. 

You had our oldest whose name was Dani Harison (29), he is the first Drag Queen to come out and be a performer. He is an African American man who is 6’2, fit yet thin, his eyes black, and his hair cut short till he puts on his wigs and clothes he designs himself. He becomes Monnet Blac and believe me when I tell you that she was fierce. Dani loved and thrived off of seeing the representatives  faces grow red and filled with hatred, because what is a little hate going to do. Then you had Scartella Wilson (25), our second oldest who was America’s sweetheart. Scartella was what every girl wanted to be thin, pale white, beautiful locks of blonde hair, filled heart lips, doe blue eyes, and her voice was like a dove singing.

Our third oldest was Kira Yuan (24), an Chinese American and she was the beauty standard and idol of China. She was graceful and fought back anything that was in our way, Kira was everyone’s back bone when they forgot who they were. Cherry Garcia (23) is the second youngest and she came from Mexico to escape the tragedy that happened, the biggest earthquake Mexico has ever had. She was tall, thin, long black hair, her tan was dark but was beautiful that it brought out her dark brown eyes. Then there was me, the youngest out of the entire group. My name is Alexis Ponce De Leon (20) I was the one who helped convince this group to happen and now we are here. My body was curvy yet some would call it provocative, my hair was to my shoulders, my skin was tanned to match my heritage of being also Mexican American.

Though the journey was a long way to go from where we started; now we are here in Memphis, Tennessee performing our latest songs that continue to shake the United States of America. Some newspapers would call us abominations and others would call us revolutionary. I looked up to view boxes where more fans were located screaming and chanting. I knocked back into my senses to finish my last note. 

“Bang, bang, there goes your heart, I know you want it, Back, back seat of my car, I'll let you have it, Wait a minute, let me take you there, Oh, Wait a minute 'til you, Oh, hey.” I breathed out the final words of the song breathing heavily. I looked back to my right to see Elvis was gone. As I closed my eyes, I threw my head back trying to catch my breath. The fans clapped and screamed trying to reach out to touch us on stage. 

“Thank you everyone, we love you all!” Dani called out into the mic hyping up the crowd further. “And thank you Mr. Representatives.” Dani winked and extended his hand to wave goodbye in a taunting way. Scartella blew kisses waving and bowing along with Kira and Cherry. As they left the stage I stood there still trying to get my breathing under control as I leaned down to touch a few people's hands. Some tried to pull me into the crowd while the security pulled them off. I smirked, pulling my hand away and doing a final little bow. 

As I strolled off the stage to see the others stand by our staff who were also our friends: Steven, Hunter, Greyson, Skye, and Rory. Steven Jones (25) was a white man who always loved wearing blue and black suits, he was 6’1, lean, and was your typical Tennessee gentleman. He was the one who would promote us and manage us. Hunter Miller (23) was a white man also but who came from Canada. Hunter was 5’9 and was a gentleman who was connected to his sensitive side. Yet, he was the one who would protect any of us from any harm whether it’s death threats or accusations. 

Rory Davis (28) was a Afro-Cuban man who found his true self through Dani. Rory was on the curvy side being almost 6’1, his English was broken yet he understood. He is the one who would design any stage outfits for the group and if needed make wigs to please his dear Dani. Rory and Dani have been lovers for 5 years but due to laws they could never marry, which angered him but being side by side with Rory is all that mattered to him.  

Greyson Begay (22) being a Native American, Navajo, to be exact he was 5’8 with black long hair that he kept braided pigtails that complimented his upswept corners and a slanted eye shape while his cheek bones were well defined. He never spoke too much yet words never went unspoken, he was the one who helped with song writing.  Finally you had Skye Rodriguez (21) Afro-Mexican American. Her hair was coily that formed into a big afro and her complexion was well defined, as if she could be a model. Clear black skin while her brown eyes were doe like. Skye worked with makeup and our hair as if it depended on it. 

“Must you be so extra Alexis?” Skye questioned handing me a glass bottle that was filled with water. I scoffed teasingly while taking the bottle. 

“If I’m not, who will be my darling?” I asked further, taking a small sip. There it was again, the feeling of being watched from afar. My eyes scanned behind my friends till I spotted him again. Our eyes met and the bottle touched my lips. I gave a small grin before looking away. Who did this man think he is to look that good and just want to stare. 

“Anyways, before we get carried away we were invited to an after party in Downtown Memphis to visit B.B King.” Steven cut off Skye from giving her sassy remarks. “You mean THE B.B King?” Dani gasped with excitement. 

“I heard he was making his way up there but formally inviting us to hang with him is beyond me.” Dani leaned his body into Rory’s side. 

“He said we are more than welcome. There will be other formal singers there so let's all head back to our hotel before we go, alright?” Hunter added as he wrapped an arm around Scartella’s waist. “I’ll be right there, let me just get something real quick.” I exclaimed walking away after the few short calls they gave. I walked to the other side of the backstage to pick up a small bag I left till I saw a shadow tower above me. I turned around looking up at the one and only Elvis Presley who was thin, his hair swept to the side, black eyeliner around his eyes and his natural soft pink lips. “Well hello there.” I tilted my head to the side gazing directly into those baby blue eyes of his. 

“Hello, I-I’m Elvis…Presley.” He stuttered and immediately his cheeks grew into a rosy color. I gave a small laugh and smiled while looking at him still. “I know who you are, you've been the talk recently I’m-” I was cut off by him quickly speaking. 

“Alexis, I know my girlfriend loves to listen to you constantly when you’re on the radio.” Did he say girlfriend? Of course, how could I be foolish. My real smile then turned into a fake smile and my eyes slowly started to zone out. As I was zoning out I swear I could see that he even noticed that my smile faded. Elvis started to stutter again but to not waste much more of my time I spoke up once again.

 “Well I’m glad she does. Now lets never meet again Mr. Presley.” I pushed gently past him leaving the poor man stunned. 

I sighed walking away as my heart felt heavy and my ears began to ring once more again. I closed my eyes a little bit seeing his baby blue eyes that were carved into my mind. Love wasn’t in my cards and it won’t ever be. I’ve been with this group for the past 6 years and the whole time flings would come and go from the group but I could never get myself to fall for one. Shame on me for finding a boy attractive to the point I forget that there could be a possible lover on the side. I felt the eyes burning into my body till I turned the corner down the steps and into the parking lot that was cut off from the public for musicians.

“What took you so long?” Greyson called out as he was leaning against the black Cadillac with a cigar between his lips. 

“I signed a fan’s book, what else do you want from me?” I bit back about his question as I was getting into the car's back seat and laid my head back since the roof of the car wasn’t there. I stared at the starry sky listening to the faded cheers from inside the building.  

“Someone’s in a bad mood already.” 

Greyson got into the front passenger seat once he closed the door the driver began to start the car and finally move. Greyson felt the heavy energy I was giving off, he hated when I would get like this due to either feeling alone or I felt like I could’ve done better for performing to a crowd. Most times it was performing but this felt different. He never liked when guys would get close to me since he saw me as a little sister all he wanted to do was protect me. Aside from everyone else, Greyson knew me inside and out and was the one who took care of me once my parents passed away. 

“Would you like to just stay at the hotel tonight instead of going out?” Greyson yelled so I would be able to hear over the wind. I contemplated the factors and shook my head while closing my eyes once again breathing heavily. 

“No.” I spoke quietly. “I need a distraction.” I whispered to myself.

After a few minutes we got to our hotel and saw the lights bright and three people leaning on the railing. It was Hunter, Dani, and Rory. “Finally they're here!” Rory called out in full confidence and smiled. They must have been drinking. I looked at them above and called out “What am I wearing mother!” I called Dani who held a glass bottle of alcohol. 

“Come and see my beauty.” Dani chirped. 

Dani loved being called mother; it was something that made him feel protective over each and one of us. I got out of the car once Greyson opened the door and walked up to the second story of the hotel. “What held you up Alexis?” Hunter questioned as he glared at me up and down trying to read my body. 

“I needed to get my bag, now where is this beautiful outfit I’m going to be wearing.” I tried to rush my answer seeing Dani turn around in his heels that Rory customized himself. Opening the black door to see bags of outfits they had laid out for me. “Pick a color honey.” Dani whispered in my ear softly. 

Baby blue, those eyes still filling my head. God fucking damnit that man looked intoxicating that he left a imprint on me. No, no, it can’t be like this. He has a girlfriend and I’m not going to be stomping into that. Fuck it.

“Baby blue.” I whispered.

“Perfect we need to fix up your makeup and your hair then we can go meet that beautiful man, B.B King '' Dani perked up and Rory showed clear jealousy smacking his lips. “But no one can beat my gorgeous babe.” Dani grabbed Rory's chin and gave him a soft peck. I gave a faint smile and grabbed the bag the dress rested in. “Okay just give me a few minutes and I will be right out.” 

As 30 minutes passed I was dressed in this beautiful baby blue silk gown that showed a bit too much of my big cleavage but hugged each curve I had. That was it, Dani did it again with another gorgeous gown, he always thinks outside the box. While Skye came in to help fix up my makeup and touch up my hair I didn’t realize I was so zoned out looking at myself. 

“You look beautiful Alexis.” She whispered, rubbing my exposed shoulder. 

“I would hope so, Dani and you did such a beautiful job.” I smiled weakly, still staring at myself through the mirror. 

“Come on, let's go to this party before it ends.” Skye noticed that something was bothering me but it was better to just avoid it to not have any outburst. We drove to the downtown side where colored and a few poor white people only resigned. The sidewalks were filled with life till we parked next to the side walks. Two black Cadillac's  and we saw people crowding around chanting as we stepped out of the cars. We waved and smiled to each fan that we passed. 

“Right through here!” The door opened with a security guard standing, as we walked into the black building we went up the stairs to see a club filled with African American artists singing, dancing, drinking, and chatting. It was so lively. Everyone dressed in either their best suits or best dresses. 

“Monnet Blac!” B.B King called out from the other side of the room to move closer.

“Oh my lord, B.B King knows me.” Dani fangirled under his breath. Dani began to touch his black wig that was long and wavy. “Mr. B.B King it’s so nice to finally meet you, our staff and the rest of the group.” Dani pointed. I smiled and waved.

“It’s very nice to meet-” I paused when I saw a pair of blue eyes that was haunting my head. Black hair, black suit, his hair was now a bit messy. He spotted me through the crowd- once again the ringing in my ears came back, the room slowed down, and my breathing was caught in the back of my throat. B.B King took notice of this and glanced back at me. 

“That is Elvis Presley, a friend of mine. Have you met him yet?” He questioned as he came closer holding out an arm. I entwined my arm with him and shook my head “No sir, I’ve only heard of his upcoming.” 

B.B King strolled with me as we got closer to Elvis . He exhaled deeply and tried to give a confident grin as if I haven’t even met him yet. Gosh it irritated my soul yet it was attractive. 

“Elvis, this is Alexis from Velvet Pristin, Alexis this is Elvis- Elvis Presley.” I gave a fake smile and grabbed Elvis' extended hand. It was soft and warm- it felt as if electricity was flowing through our bodies. We stared at each other in the eyes and time seemed to slow down all over again. Elvis took a deep inhale and gripped my hand gently pulling me towards his body. I pulled my hand away. “It’s nice to meet you Mr. Presley.” I spoke softly. “The feeling is mutual mama.” Elvis continued to stare at me as I looked away. How the tables turned in this situation was beyond me but all I could think is ways to leave the situation in hand. 

“I’ll leave you two alone.” B.B King nodded with a smile as he walked away. I finally released my breath and looked at Elvis back. He snatched my hand and opened the door that was behind him that led into an empty room filled with tables and chairs. I yelped following him as he closed the door behind him. 

“You know a normal person would usually ask to talk alone instead of dragging.” I snapped at him as I released my hand from his. 

“Well, I wanted to get a moment alone with you before you tried to walk away again on me,” He paused, eyeing me. “Which by the way I feel like I’m kind of owed a reason why you just walked off in the first place.” He spoke kind of hurt but keeping a locked gaze. “I don’t owe you anything Mr. Presl-” 

“Elvis- call me Elvis sweetheart.” Elvis leaned against the table. 

Feeling a bit disobedient I inhaled going close to his face. “Mr. Presley, I don’t owe you an explanation other than just having to be on time for events, such as this one which I should be enjoying sir.” Elvis leaned down a bit meeting me at eye level, I could feel the hotness from his breath and the poor lighting barely showing any color of those baby blue eyes of his.  

Elvis scoffed and pulled away. “Fine.” He stood up and grabbed the bottle that was on the side of the table. “I love your dress, it’s really different and very…” He paused as his eyes scanned down my body and slowly dragged up to my face again. “Scandalous.” I puff and snatched the bottle from his hands.

“So, I can wear what I want when I want.” I unscrewed the bottle cap and held it to my lips staring at his eyes as he eyed my lips. “Plus don’t you have a girlfriend to be paying more attention to than watching what other girls wear?” I finally took a sip and handed him the bottle, letting the warm liquor fall into my stomach loving the burn trailing down my throat. 

“I don’t watch what other girls wear, I’m just talking about your outfit, that's all mama.” He grasped the bottle into his hands. His fingers grazed over mine before pulling the bottle away from my grip. Elvis brought the bottle to his lips as well taking a gulp of it. “If you ask me I was just interested in the design of it.” He backed himself up. 

I smiled, fixing his hair and taking a dust bunny out of it. “Don’t talk to me then Mr. Presley- Talk to Monnet Blac.” I pulled back as well and just before I could open the door I turned around and carefully spoke. “Mr. Presley I mean it, let's never meet again. Good luck on your journey.” As I opened the door to the crowded room, the music was blasting, the singers singing on the top of their lungs, laughing and dancing. I felt my ears ringing and felt I was looking pale. I want him but I can never have him. I want him to chase me but I can’t have him.

ANYWAYS I HAVE SO MANY ABOUT MY FAVORITE FLY BABY

her love language is physical touch and she really is about to make it everyone else’s problem

she definitely has a harder time understanding personal space and boundaries, mostly because her family just kind of accepts it when she hugs them or grabs onto them out of the blue

that being said, she will also listen when someone tells her no or says they don’t want to be touched

(she will pout a lot, but don’t take it personally)

she just has so much love to give and that’s the only way she knows how

being the youngest, she is extremely spoiled by everyone in her family, and that probably contributes to her clingy and bratty personality

everyone loves her, though. it’s hard not to

it’s pretty easy to tell when she genuinely likes someone vs. when she’s just infatuated

like with the Reader, she will gift her favorite person rocks, books, flowers… you name it, she will give it to you if it made her think of you

she’s very easily excited, and that sometimes means she can go a bit too far without even realizing

i think she definitely suffers from a mood disorder, which is why she’s easily excitable but will switch to being upset if she doesn’t get her way, and back again if she does get what she wants

Daniela isn’t afraid to tell people what she wants

she’s the shortest Dimitrescu (standing at a whopping 6’2”), and while her older sisters bicker over their heights, she’s just happy to be there :’)

it’s not uncommon for her to beg Bela to read to her

back when she was first reborn and wasn’t set in the role she would play, Bela and Cassandra always hung out with her, but they don’t really have the time to do that anymore

she’s taken on both her sisters’ interests to spend more time with them

she struggles a bit with her Cadou implant, and it’s not uncommon for her to wake up to nightmares of her family abandoning her

she doesn’t understand why. she knows they would never mistreat her, but…

there was probably a time she tried to understand why she had those nightmares, going around and getting reassurance from her family that she would always be a part of them, no matter what happens

it did ease her anxieties a little, but not by much

she has the least amount of self-control of the trio, and it’s why she goes feral the quickest

the sight or smell of fresh blood makes her teeter on the edge of going feral, and if she’s not distracted, her instincts will take over and blind her from what’s right and wrong

she receives the most head pats from Alcina, mostly because she whines and begs, but also because it’s the best way to keep her distracted

she’s always down to do whatever her sisters want

Cassandra wants to bug Bela and be really annoying while she’s trying to work? Daniela is right there beside her

Bela wants to spend her time outside for a little while? Daniela will beg to come with her so she can look for more rocks or flowers. doesnt matter if it’s winter

she does have a tendency to ramble about anything and everything when she’s comfortable with someone

there have been many times Bela and Cassandra have had their ears talked off during dinner

there was a time, a while after her rebirth, that she went into the village by herself at night

the closer she got to her old home, the more afraid she felt, though she persisted

the home was boarded up and blocked off, but seeing how she could turn into flies, she was able to get inside

dried blood was everywhere, though there were no bodies. it almost looked like the handiwork of her sisters, something she’s come to memorize since becoming a Dimitrescu

there was a painting on the wall depicting a family; three men and a red-headed woman off to the side, forgotten

she doesn’t understand the painting, but it fills her with such sorrow

she definitely went to ask her sisters about it, wondering if they actually knew anything, and both replied with, “you don’t have to worry about them anymore.”

she supposed she always would be safe when Bela and Cassandra were around. she never had anything to worry about with those overprotective women :’)

Dimitrescu Daughter HCs

I thought this would only take a few minutes. I was so, so very wrong. Anyway, some of these are somewhat exclusive to my fic (Serenade), but they’ll make sense even if you haven’t read that.

Daniela:

Others have already talked about how Daniela reads a ton of romance novels, so I’m not really going to go into that very much, just saying that I agree 100%, I mean c’mon, it’s practically canon.

While she mainly sources books from her family’s library, there are a few she’s “acquired” over the years that she keeps locked away in her room. These tend to be a bit, ahem, steamier than her mother would approve of/let her read under normal circumstances.

How did she get these? Well, there has to be someone who delivers goods to Castle Dimitrescu (Duke, perhaps?), seeing as the Maidens need, like, actual food to survive. Sometimes Daniela manages to convince them to order books for her, usually just asking for books by authors she likes, or ones she’s heard maidens whispering about.

No, the delivery person does not read the book’s summaries or reviews, they have a feeling (based on titles and covers alone) that they don’t want to know.

As for her experiences with actual romance… she’s so very, very excited about it, all the time. Wants to kiss every cute Maiden she sees, and sometimes daydreams about a beautiful woman fleeing from lycans who comes to the castle for shelter, clinging to Dani for warmth and protection, and it’s love at first sight, and they kiss and kiss and right as it gets to the good part-! Someone interrupts her daydream (usually Cassandra).

However, her actual experiences are fairly limited. Sure, she has kissed Maidens, but she tends to get over excited. Like in Serenade, she starts to rush the process, and usually ends up draining her “lover” aka victim before anything more intimate happens.

She’s definitely done sexual things, just, well, not with other people. Private things. Usually during or after reading one of her special books. You get the picture.

Because of this, and her aforementioned love of romance novels, Daniela has become somewhat obsessed with the idea of her first time. She wants everything to be perfect. The setting, the timing, who she’s with… Hence her reaction in chapter 3 of Serenade. It’s not that she didn’t want to continue, just that the circumstances didn’t feel right. She’s very particular!

Favorite Music Genre: Girl goes wild for an emotional, gut-wrenching love/power ballad. The type to lie in bed and cry while listening to Hozier or Lorde (not that she can hear either of them, considering her limited music options). Doesn’t admit it, though, and mostly listens to indie pop when other people can hear. That and whatever the Maiden plays on piano ;)

Hobbies: Other than reading there’s not too much I can see her doing, really. She’d be sure to get into anything that her s/o enjoys, though, even if it’s something difficult or time-consuming. Writing is something she’d love, but it’s difficult for her to keep her focus on just one project at a time. Ideally she’d write short stories, romantic ones obvs, and have someone else proofread/edit them. For the most part she’d write within fantasy and historical setting (seeing as she’s got experience in both of those departments).

ADHD, BABY. Bigtime, seriously. Maybe this is just my adhd ass projecting, but I can’t not see her as having it. For her it mainly manifests with hyper-focusing/difficulty staying on task. It’s like a switch with those on either end, flipping back and forth every once in a while. She can spend six hours reading two different books in one sitting, but if someone just breathes too loudly it disrupts her completely. Because of this she’s somewhat prone to abandoning projects. It’s a sore subject for her, and her sisters are aware, normally only bringing it up if they’re really angry with her.

Opinions on the four lords: Thinks Heisenberg is a tool (pun intended), also thinks that he secretly reads super erotic novels. She doesn’t have any proof, though, and would never say anything about it out loud. Just makes fun of him in her head. Doesn’t actually judge him for what she thinks he reads, just judges his personality and the “need he feels to hide his secret”. Loves Donna, and low-key thinks she’s attractive. Daniela mostly bases that off the portrait she’s seen, but, like many fans, also thinks the hands are nice. The puppets don’t bother her, though she also doesn’t really care about them, other than thinking that Donna interacting with them is cute.

Opinions continued: Moreau is… uh… fish boy. Daniela thinks he’s weird, kinda gross, and hardly considers him a “real” lord. Poor boy :(  At least she doesn’t actively make fun of him?... Even if that’s only because she kinda forgets about him most of the time. As for Lady Dimitrescu, well, obviously Daniela loves her mom. The whole family is very close, and as the “youngest”, Daniela gets a lot of attention. Sometimes she thinks her mother is too strict, but at the end of the day there’s no love lost.

Bela:

Cleans up after her sisters a lot, but still nowhere near as much as any of the Maidens do. Often agrees to help with messes in exchange for blackmail material. “Oh, Daniela, what a shame you broke mother’s favorite dish… I could help, but you owe me one.” At the end of the day, though, there’s plenty she would slide.

Being the “oldest”, she’s expected to behave the best, and often feels more restricted than her sisters. Being an example is hard! Occasionally she’ll have the impulse to rebel, but this usually only manifests in scenarios like the one mentioned above, aka she’ll simply be more lenient of her siblings for a bit.

Overall far less sadistic than her sisters. Cares more about the quality of pain then the amount of it. Only ever goes overboard if someone full out threatens or hurts her family. Insults towards them still earn her ire, and will get her to punish someone, but it’s not enough to make her resort to torture. Usually.

Gets the most restless out of the three. As cool (and large) as the castle is, it’s all she’s ever really known. If not for her weakness to cold, she’d go out on hikes a lot. Nature interests her, fascinates her, but she’d be a little less fond of most of it in person. Like, oh, waterfalls sound so cool, followed by a hundred complaints about the noise. Thinks deer are the cutest shit ever (second only to humans, maybe).

Unlike Daniela (though that HC is relevant almost exclusively to Serenade), Bela has actually slept with a Maiden before. She doesn’t really care for them enough to consider it a relationship, instead admiring them for their entertainment value. Definitely could fall for a Maiden, simply hasn’t yet. Of the three I feel like she takes the longest to fall in love, and even longer to actually act on her feelings. Sometimes resents her siblings because they unknowingly “claimed” a Maiden that she was starting to be interested in. However, she fully acknowledges that she should have said something if she didn’t want to lose the girl, considering the situation they live in.

Favorite music genre: Classical, full orchestra style, with a soft spot for swing/jazz. Enjoys having music play softly while she reads, and is very particular about the volume. Absolutely would argue with her sisters if they tried to change the music or turn it up.

Hobbies: Reading, duh. Less interested in romance than Daniela by a considerable amount. For the most part she reads non-fiction books, enjoying learning about history and the sciences. Astronomy is at the top of her favorites list, followed by biology, then obscure (and often bloody) pieces of history. Niche=perfect. Also enjoys music, even if she had to rely mostly on self-teaching books. Knows the basics of piano, but doesn’t actively play, much preferring both the violin and harp. Most of the time she’ll only play if she knows her sisters won’t bother her, or if her mother asks her to.

Opinions on the four lords: Admires Heisenberg’s work/his edgenuity, but thinks the actual man is a temperamental child… who smells like wet dog. He’s only been at Castle Dimitrescu a couple times (per Mother Miranda’s request), and both times Bela moved to the other side of the house so she wouldn’t have to acknowledge his existence. While she would never admit it, she’s low-key creeped out by Donna’s dolls, and really only tolerates Angie. However, she would never act on her nerves, out of consideration for Donna’s feelings. She knows that her mother gets along well with the dollmaker, and keeps this at the forefront of her mind.

Opinions continued: “Moreau who? Oh, the fish guy? He’s still alive?... Good for him.” Wants to make Lady Dimitrescu proud, but not as desperately as Cassandra. Unknowingly mimics a lot of her mother’s little habits and ticks, and would be quietly embarrassed if someone pointed it out to her. As mentioned previously, she feels like she has to be an example for the others, and somewhat resents the pressure this puts on her. On the other hand, she does enjoy being “responsible for” (read: in charge of) her sisters. Additionally, she is the most likely to get away with lying to Alcina, though she does not often do so. This isn’t because she’s the most manipulative (that’s Cass), or the best liar (that’s Dani, if she’s trying), but simply because Alcina doesn’t think her oldest daughter would lie. Even if she doubts something Bela says, she’ll usually give her the benefit of the doubt… as long as it doesn’t happen very often.

Cassandra:

Sleeps the most of the three, if only because she’s the most active of them. Not as fast as the others while in swarm mode, but the fastest on foot, partially because she’s more likely to simply walk places. She knows the sound of feet on the floor scares the Maidens, and she drinks their fear with utter pleasure. Additionally she claims that it just feels nice to “stretch her legs”. But she will not hesitate to enter swarm mode when chasing someone. As fun as it is to smell their fear, she can get impatient, wanting to get close and personal to her target.

Tends to hide most of her feelings, sometimes even opting to “convert” them into anger. In other words, think of her emotional state as an ever-filling bottle of water. As things happen, she feels emotions, and the rate at which water pours into the bottle increases. Ideally if the water level started getting too high, she would address whatever is increasing the flow of water. Instead of that, she often uses anger, which is equivalent to shaking the bottle a bit and letting water messily spill out of it. Doesn’t address the actual problem, but let’s her release some pressure/free up some room.

Goes through Maidens faster than her siblings (yes, even Daniela “draining you of blood is romantic” Dimitrescu). Not all of them even die in the basement, sometimes what was supposed to be a “warning” turns into “oh shit the blood won’t stop coming out, this is how I die, in this accursed castle, no friends or family to mourn me, just the painful knowledge that I will not be the last, I will die for no cause, no glory, just the bitter whims of a blood-soaked mistress” or something along those lines.

While more likely to get attached to someone than Bela, Cassandra isn’t one to do much about it. She might flirt, might even try to kiss (or, uh, kiss while also not wearing clothes wink wink), but she won’t (usually) claim someone as her own, or protest if one of her sisters wants to have some fun with them (even if it’s the bloody kind of fun). Technically gets over breakups and “breakups” (i.e. death) easier than either of her sisters. To be fully accurate, Daniela still goes through lovers faster, but she also remembers them and cares for them for longer post-breakup.

Somewhat of a blood kink. Like, more than vampires automatically have. In intimate settings she cares more about the quantity of blood and what she can do with it (loves bloodstains) than what causes the bloodshed.

Favorite music genre: Rock ‘n roll. Leans towards older stuff, as well as heavier songs. Soft spot for symphonic metal, but doesn’t admit it out of the fear that some might consider it a “weaker form” of the genre. Almost exclusively listens to bands that have female vocalists, and gets crushes on them more than she’d ever admit.

Hobbies: Art! Painting, mostly, but dabbles in sculpture from time to time. It’s been too long since I took an art class for me to suggest a style for her paintings, but I imagine her sculptures would be somewhat abstract. Her art would revolve around emotion, the stronger and rawer the better, with viewers often being left uncomfortable. While Alcina buys plenty of art supplies for her, Cassandra is fond of improvising, especially by creating her own “tools” (of questionable efficiency) out of items she has laying around. She is absolutely the one who took her mother’s lipstick. If you don’t know what that means, don’t worry, it’s just mentioned in one of the RE8 notes that Lady Dimitrescu’s valuable lipstick is missing.

Opinions on the four lords: Tolerates Heisenberg more than the rest of her family by a considerable amount. She’s seen glimpses of his work, his steampunk-adjacent style, and actually kind of digs it. While Bela cares more about the science behind his work, Cassandra just digs the aesthetic. Sometimes for her art she also needs things she can’t get from the castle, and are too obscure to get from a merchant, so she trades tools/ideas with Heisenberg in exchange for him making something for her. “Can you make a battery but whenever it’s in use it makes a horrible screaming sound?” “Yes. PS I hate your mother and Miranda.” “I didn’t fucking ask.”

Opinions continued: Doesn’t really care much about Donna, but acknowledges her as a fellow artist, and would be willing to consult her if she talked more (and talked without Angie). Cassandra hasn’t met Moreau, thankfully (he would cry). Knows about him from her sister/mother, and as a result doesn’t care about him. Internally whenever someone mentions him, she pictures, like, a Goldfish Cracker (the snack that smiles back) with legs except also it’s green and moldy.

Opinions cont.: Loves her mother so much. Determined to please her, to make her proud, but often left feeling less loved than her sisters. This strains her relationship with her family, not that she’d ever voice her feelings and talk through the issue. Let’s be real, Alcina would probably feel guilty for not realizing how Cass felt. Nonetheless, Cassandra probably spends the most time with her mother, often offering to assist her with tasks, or trying to get her to appreciate her art.

Daniel Fenton is the youngest son of Maddie and Jack Fenton. His parents died when he was still in middle school, leaving him alone with his hospitalized older sister Jazz Fenton and a lot of debts.

In high school, he started to steal money to keep his parents’ house and pay for Jazz’s hospitalization.

One day, without noticing he was stealing drug dealers, he accidentally got caught in a shoot-out. After the slaughter, hidden behind a bin, he met “The Master of Time” a professional hitman. At first the hitman wanted to kill him in order to erased any witness but Danny begged him to spare his life and to teach him assassination instead. Confused but intrigued by so much will, and after serious warnings the hitman accepted Danny as his apprentice. One year after, Danny got his first mission and target, an ex-policeman by the name of Percival Walker.

In the beginning Danny only wanted to target dubious people, but after being call « monster » by one of his victim, and then killing the innocent witness Dorathea Legrand, he stopped caring and started to accept missions with innocents and even children.

Each mission usually brought him between 15’000$ and 30’000$, after the intermediate commission he stored the rest on 5 separate bank accounts with different names, and lied to Jazz about his current job, saying that their parents left them a lot of insurance money.

He approximately killed 3-6 persons a year but hadn’t killed anyone in the last year and started to run out of money. In April, he gladly accepted his next mission, a wealthy businessman in the name of Vladimir Masters.

Morals: 

Danny is now ok to kill people, after all animals kill to eat, humans also kill animals for food. Receiving money to kill somebody isn’t so different from receiving money to butcher a cow for steak. After long conversations with his vegan friend Sam, he concluded that animals' lives don’t worth less than human lives. Moreover humans kill other humans, for oils or other horrible beliefs (racism, homophobia etc…). At least he does it to help his sister and not twisted pleasure. Like he says “He didn’t have a choice and can’t go back.”

Danny used to but doesn't have regrets anymore, “What's done is done” and what he earns help him to keep Fenton Works and Jazz alive by moving her to a better hospital. 

He doesn’t have guilt either, the one to blame is the person who asks him to kill. The one to blame is the person who wants to kill, not the knife. Like a knife he is only a ‘tool’.

Even if he never sees a ghost he believes in a sort of afterlife, and isn’t scared of death. He only hopes to survive long enough until Jazz fully heals.

Hospitalized for a long time her health seems to deteriorate with each passing day, though moving to a better hospital seems to have stabilized her a bit.

Danny is making sure to visit her at least twice a week to keep her company and brought her plenty of books he lends from the library (even if she doesn’t always have the strength to read its, she is happy to have Danny to keep her company).

Though weaker, Jazz is intelligent and doesn’t believe one second the “insurance money” excuse, but she lets Danny has his secrets anyway until the day he decides to tell her everything. Little she suspects her baby brother, who smells like fried food and cheap burgers, has his hands covered with blood.

He tries to help him and keep him as far as he can from too dangerous missions, even if Phantom’s skills and abilities to kill fast without letting traces are highly sought-after, resulting in more dangerous missions and famous targets.

While acting as Vlad’s clingy and annoying daughter, she is in fact his close bodyguard. Dani is very devoted and would give her life for her « father » without an once of hesitation.

She usually wears a long jacket to hide her small thought muscular build and wears cloths comfy enough to run and jump.

Some ASOIAF kids in the Hunger Games...

- Dany. My first thought was that there could be some sort of fire in the arena she survives, and suddenly everyone watching becomes obsessed with her and she gets loads of sponsors. But the reason she emerges from the pyre alive in AGOT is because she uses magic, which doesn’t exist in the hunger games universe. My thoughts other than that though, are that although she is smaller and younger than most of the other tributes and does not really have any combat training, she would survive for a while through allies. She makes loads of friends in the training period and goes into the arena with many of the others willing to fight to protect her. She would be killed eventually though.

- Quentyn. oh my poor boy goes into these games really wanting to fight bravely and make his father proud but ends up suffering a long and painful death :(

- Joffrey. Ooh he would be pretty terrifying in the arena, he would fight more viciously and with more ferocity than anyone else and any deaths he inflicts would be very cruel. However, due to his age and a not particularly high level of combat skill (plus probably not great survival skills) he probably ain’t surviving.

- Loras. An audience favourite going into the games, definitely, everyone loves him and thinks he’s going to win, he’s very clearly a strong and skilled fighter and gets a very good training score and has lots of sponsors. He’d do fairly well in the arena, and would kill a lot of people, and his sponsors would make sure he doesn’t lack for food, medicine, anything else he needs, but in the end he’d probably be outsmarted by someone or maybe even meet someone who’s a match for him in a fight *cough* Brienne

- And talking of Brienne.... She’s a really interesting one. Let’s just imagine it, she’s reached eighteen, she’s nearly made it through all her Reapings, and her name is called. And even though she wants to prove her worth as a fighter and to win honour and respect... not like this. Not by killing innocent children. In training she vows to protect the Stark girls. She’s the strongest and most skilled fighter in there, but eventually she does get killed fighting for them.

- Jon. He’s a very good fighter, gets a good training score, and could do really well if he wanted too, but... ultimately this boy is too reluctant to kill innocents to win the hunger games.

- Sam. Oh this poor boy ain’t lasting long :( I love him, but he’d be so terrified. He’d run straight away but he’d not be fast enough and his legs would probably be shaking from fear, someone’s gonna kill him pretty quickly :(

- Robb. Like Loras, an audience favourite going into the games. Another pretty good fighter, but again... he’s not going to survive. He’s too honourable. There’s probably some major scandal when his body gets horribly desecrated before the Gamemakers can retrieve it.

- (Older) Sansa. Okay I love her, and she’s so strong and brave and clever... but not in the way that’s going to allow her to thrive in the arena. Maybe she could sing a song about mercy to anyone who tries to kill her?

- (Older) Arya. This girl would actually really love the training, she’s definitely the one who works hardest and tries all the different things on offer and learns loads, going into the arena with a lot of new skills. and she’d be fairly deadly in the arena, has some good kills, mostly, like in ASOIAF, through trickery and taking people by surprise rather than actually by beating them in hand to hand combat. She’s little and a lot of people overlook her to their peril. But eventually, she’d come across someone much bigger and stronger who she simply cannot overpower, so she’d be killed eventually.

- (Older) Bran, who hasn’t had a fall in this au. This boy is so loveable everyone he’d win the nation’s hearts and minds before he’s even in the arena. And he is going to thrive if there is a mountain or really high trees or something in the arena, anything he can climb so that he’s out of people’s reach. Imagine Cat watching at home, having always worried about Bran’s climbing but seeing it save his life over and over again and being so proud of him! Ultimately, though, he’s gotta come down at some point and then he’s going to be very vulnerable being one of the youngest. He’s not realistically going to survive.

- (Older) Rickon. Okay, this boy goes absolutely feral in the arena, is deadly with his spear, makes friends with a wolf the capitol put in there to kill tributes, and said wolf ends up fighting alongside him and killing anyone who tries to hurt Rickon. Ned and cat at home are absolutely horrified watching what becomes of their little boy, but at the same time are thrilled there actually seems to be a chance of him surviving. Because you’ve guessed it, he’s who’s most likely to win.

The three gods and their lots - (three heads of the dragon)

Contains meta below the cut as well as possible interpretations and theories and speculation. I feel like I should also add a disclaimer that no, I don’t think Targaryens are gods incarnate, this is just examining mythological aspects in their stories and characters and finding commonalities. (I only respect one mortal turning into a god and that is Bran) 

The major three gods of the Greek pantheon were: Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades. They drew lots and shared dominion over the world - Zeus was god of the sky and king of the gods, Poseidon was god of the sea, and Hades was the god of the Underworld. Three dominions, three gods.

Aegon/Zeus

The lesson began with languages. Young Griff spoke the Common Tongue as if he had been born to it, and was fluent in High Valyrian, the low dialects of Pentos, Tyrosh, Myr, and Lys, and the trade talk of sailors. … Geometry followed languages. Upon his birth, Zeus had to be spirited away from his father, Cronus, who had swallowed his siblings and hidden so he could escape the fate of his siblings. He would later grow, revolt against his father, and regurgitate his siblings. After drawing lots, Zeus would be given dominion over the sky and be named king of the gods. 

Zeus was affiliated with protection, authority, righteous rule, battle, and justice. He was considered a fair protector and ruler, but not above petty jealousy or anger (or amorousness). 

Aegon, in what little we have seen from him, is actually groomed from a young age to rule. He doesn’t have the hands-on experiences several other characters are thusly put through in the books, but it is very clear he knows what is expected of him, has the knowledge required for the position, and has a good claim to the throne - one that is seemingly preordained, as Zeus’s was foretold before his father swallowed his children. 

Aegon’s connection to the red comet seen on the day of his birth can be loosely traced to Zeus’s mastery over the sky itself (where the sky reflects a point of significance to both Zeus’s temper or demands, so did Aegon’s birth seemingly coincide with the prophecy of the prince that was promised). 

“Young Griff”/Aegon had similarly been spirited away as Zeus had during a time of catastrophe when his claim would threaten another (where instead of a stone wrapped in swaddling, Aegon’s escape was tendered by Varys switching him with another baby) and raised in secrecy, despite being the rightful heir of a kingdom. It’s not Cronus he was hidden from or his actual father, but Robert Baratheon who is hellbent on wiping out the entire line of Targaryens, even agreeing to Tywin’s methods (whether or not he ordered the Mountain to do what he did to Elia and the children doesn’t matter; he was the Mountain’s lord, and so at best he just insinuated ‘do what you want’ very well knowing what Gregor was like). Not so different from Cronus, who, desperate to keep his power, swallowed all of his children.  

In text he’s shown to be a little impatient in his desire to be taken seriously and not be coddled by Griff (but honestly he’s 16 and every teenager everywhere in the history of anybody can be impatient and a little overdramatic; Tyrion is briefly reminded of Joffrey when Aegon throws a tantrum over cyvasse, but Tyrion is shown to not like a lot of people for various reasons, so). However, he has a fantastic grip on his studies, in particular language and history, and we can infer that he has an interest in ruling that goes well beyond ‘it sounds like fun’ (Robert Baratheon’s quote that he never felt so alive as when he was winning the war, and never so dead after it was won comes to mind), at least from what we know from Varys and Griff, and a bit from Tyrion. 

But aside from the impatience we see from him, he shows compassion and an unwillingness to forget kindness when he refuses to let Tyrion drown after Tyrion saves him from a stone-man. From the Tyrion chapters in ADWD, we see Aegon laugh quite freely, is at ease among people of a different station from him; we actually get the idea that even if he can be a little immature, he shows a lot of promise for rule and justice.  

One of the more interesting connections between he and Zeus is the fact that there is some debate as to whether Zeus is the youngest or the oldest of his siblings since he was never swallowed by his father (who technically, after he regurgitated them, also gave ‘birth’ to the swallowed siblings) - and there is understandable debate as to whether Aegon is really Aegon. It could go either way; they are Schrödinger's brother and represent a puzzle, a possible paradox (I do actually believe Aegon is the real deal; if Ned can smuggle out a secret-baby from a tower across a battlefield with only his buddy from the swamps, Varys could certainly have arranged a switch).  

And associating Aegon with justice, imo, isn’t a stretch - particularly when we’ll get to see him gain some traction outside of Jon Connington’s influence (who just likes to hate on the Martells because he’s a Rhaegar fanboy don’t @ me) and we see him meet Arianne. Jon C only sees Rhaegar in Aegon because all Jon C can ever see is Rhaegar; once we move beyond Jon C’s immediate and constant influence over Aegon (and him trying to shape him as Rhaegar 2.0) we’ll see Aegon have the opportunity to connect directly with his Martell side. I believe there’s a good chance we’ll see Aegon seek out, and speak about it, justice for his mother and sibling especially given that he’ll have a positive Martell influence at his side. We just haven’t had the opportunity yet. (And Zeus was always associated with righteous authority and justice). 

It’s not a huge hint, but there is also the connection Zeus has with gryphons; in a translation of Prometheus Bound by Aeschylus, Prometheus has a warning for Io “Beware of the sharp-beaked hounds of Zeus that do not bark, gryphons”. Gryphons/griffins are also said to pull Zeus’s chariots. Jon C is undoubtedly the guard dog that stands ready at Aegon’s side and manages to ‘carry’ him in a sense to Griffin’s Roost (poor influence on him notwithstanding, I can’t really cast aside the fact that he is loyal to Aegon, regardless of the reasons why). 

Admittedly, Aegon is definitely much milder than Zeus with his flaws microscopic compared to the king of gods, but I think a lot of mythology references aren’t word-for-word, and in asoiaf they sometimes pull through less obviously. Casting Aegon as Zeus works specifically for this because of the rule of three, and who I ended up going with for the other two in this meta/theory. 

Zeus was not without his share of flaws and while he was king of the gods, his rule never went unchallenged - chief amongst them to instigate things was Poseidon. Aegon similarly won’t be unchallenged for it. 

Daenerys/Poseidon

“The Dothraki sea,” Ser Jorah Mormont said as he reined to a halt beside her on the top of the ridge. Beneath them, the plain stretched out immense and empty, a vast flat expanse that reached to the distant horizon and beyond. It was a sea, Dany thought. - Daenerys III, AGOT

“...I shall fear the Dothraki the day they teach their horses to run on water.” - Ned, Eddard VIII AGOT

The horse seemed to know her moods, as if they shared a single mind...The Dothraki were a hard and unsentimental people, and it was not their custom to name their animals, so Dany thought of her only as the silver. She had never loved anything so much. - Daenerys III AGOT 

“...I know that somewhere upon the grass, her dragons hatched, and so did she. I know she is proud. How not? What else was left her but pride? I know she is strong. How not? The Dothraki despise weakness. If Daenerys had been weak, she would have perished with Viserys. I know she is fierce. Astapor, Yunkai and Meereen are proof enough of that. She has survived assassins and conspiracies and fell sorceries, grieved for a brother and a husband and a son, trod the cities of the slavers to dust beneath her dainty sandaled feet.” - Tyrion VI, ADWD

Poseidon was lord of horses, god of the sea (and all that it entailed). Upon drawing his lot, he envied Zeus his position as rightful king and challenged him for it several times (conspiring with his siblings at some points), and would often needle his sibling. He was a key deity to pray to for protection, mostly travelers and sailors. He was associated with the sea, storms, earthquakes, and horses. In some stories, he too was smuggled away from Cronus, in others, he was swallowed like his siblings. 

Poseidon’s temperament was known to reflect the sea and storms; he was unruly and seen as a rebel against authority that existed both in the divine realm and the mortal realm. Him being lord of the sea, storms, earthquakes, and horses, reflects a wilder nature. 

While Aegon is seen as the rightful heir to the iron throne (and consequently has the Golden Company with him, lending a further air of credibility to his right since the GC are ‘honorable’) and has a shared mastery of the sky with Zeus (referring to the day of his birth and its connection to the red comet), Dany has been ‘given’ domain over the sea. The Dothraki sea, at any rate, and the Dothraki themselves (who are also known as horselords). While her temperament hasn’t shown itself to quite the extreme Poseidon’s has shown in his tales, she has a connection to the foreshadowing of a storm, of bringing a storm (her name, the day of her birth, repeated connection with the unruliness of her largest dragon Drogon, and indications of her possibly forming an alliance with Euron Greyjoy in the future etc). 

No squall could frighten Dany, though. Daenerys Stormborn, she was called, for she had come howling into the world on distant Dragonstone as the greatest storm in the memory of Westeros howled outside, a storm so fierce that it rippled gargoyles from the castle walls and smashed her father’s fleet to kindling. - Daenerys I, ASOS 

It’s an interesting connection that Dany has with the sea and horses, imo. She’s shown to love the freedom of the sea, of sailing, and she loves horses. Both are associated with freedom to travel and journey, as we see her ecstasy on the back of Drogon flight gives her a similar feeling. It is, I think, reflecting the fact that she isn’t shown to enjoy ruling, but she does enjoy power and victory (and conquering although it’s not so cartoonishly overt). The fact that Ned says there’s nothing to fear so long as the Dothraki never learn how to cross the Narrow Sea on their horses was setting up that they will ‘learn’. 

Dany, cast under Poseidon, as lord of horses and the sea (and journeying), gives them that “opportunity” (one they don’t want or need, desperately). 

While all the gods of the pantheon were guilty of petty meddling and warring with each other and having rivalries, Poseidon was infamous for having disputes with other gods for supremacy and control of other countries. At once point, when Athens chose to follow Athena over him, he flooded them in his outage. Some believed that his anger roused storms, caused earthquakes, and floods. (Again, he was far from the only god to do petty things like this, but he was held up as the one who was infamous for it even as he was also viewed as a protector). 

Dany doesn’t summon any of those things, but there is a buildup of her anger/frustration in the books. Her justice is biased (to say nothing of her hypocrisy in dealing with slavery, in one breath claiming it is abominable, in the next allowing it to happen and partaking a portion of the profit just as the slavers she had ousted did) when she corrects herself to demand that the wineseller’s daughters be questioned more harshly, rather than gently (implying there is torture to follow in the interrogation). 

We see that temper rear its head when she burns Mirri, a victim of the Dothraki who was taken as a slave after being assaulted a number of times, after Drogo dies, when Jorah’s duplicity is revealed to her and she sends he and Barristan into the sewers hoping they’ll die, etc, (not necessarily to say her anger in some of these moments isn’t warranted, but gradually over the course of the books, her frustration becomes more obvious and her solutions bloodier and less focused). 

Poseidon, despite having his own dominion and having drawn the lot for the sea, challenges Zeus for his. He loses, but it isn’t the only time he challenges Zeus, or any other gods, at times enacting terrible vengeance on them or their favored humans. 

Dany and Aegon meeting is pretty inevitable, but there is foreshadowing that they will be at odds. Maybe they’ll meet with the united idea that the Lannisters/Baratheons have to face justice for what was done, but Dany’s idea of a legacy is wrapped up only in the legacy of the Targaryens, and she refuses to consider any other elements that occurred during the Rebellion (her father going mad, why the Starks and Baratheons rebelled, what Rhaegar was at fault for, etc). Aegon at least is implied to listen to Tyrion - he isn’t only blinded by what Jon C undoubtedly has told him - meaning he’ll likely hear Arianne out too, and Jon Snow. Dany has one truth, passed down from Viserys, one legacy. 

Like Poseidon, Dany already isn’t satisfied with her lot, warring over other countries (or conquest, claiming Meereen for her own after Astapor falls to the butcher). She will challenge Aegon for a lot that belongs to him, but I believe that unlike Poseidon, she’ll actually win against him. 

Jon/Hades

Casting Jon as Hades is something I’ve already written about in this meta, so this is just a summary with bits added on. 

When I compared Jon to Hades, I also compared the Night’s Watch being the place when men went and died, metaphorically, they died in the eyes of the realm (no wife, no sons, no land, no glory, etc). I believe that Jon is being groomed for rule in a different way, that is, holding domain over the condemned or forgotten. 

When Aegon and Dany inevitably clash over the throne, the aftermath is going to look like a hellscape. King’s Landing is repeated through the text to be the seat of power, the center of Westeros, multiple times, and with another Dance building up, I think, leads to foreshadowing that it’ll be ruined or on the brink of ruin at the end. It’ll still need someone to rule it, whether through the infant stages of an elective monarchy (it sounds like they’ll need something more than that or it’ll just invite more chaos as though rule can only be achieved through conquest of some kind, particularly for a monarchy) or otherwise. 

Jon has already fallen into an unenviable position. Sure, he gets to be Lord Commander of the Night’s Watch - an order that vows to remain at the Wall, against a horde of undead, with no support besides Stannis, with ‘dead’ men as his subjects. 

Some myths meld Zeus and Hades into the same being existing on different plains. Hades is also known as “Other Zeus” or “Infernal Zeus”; here, where Zeus is the god of living mortals, Hades is the god of the dead souls. 

Aegon is meant to take the Iron Throne and be the ruler over the Seven Kingdoms, in King’s Landing, a place of power, wealth, bounty from other kingdoms, etc. Dany will be his end in the Dance of Dragons and turn that bounty, or its possibility, into a wasteland. I don’t doubt people will still be alive, but it’ll be a place of ruins, and so will quite a few other places. I think Jon will likely kill Dany after the fact, for kinslaying and being a threat to the north and the realm, and thereby becoming a kinslayer himself. 

The gods of Westeros punish kinslaying. Jon, at this point of finding his family and being murdered for being Lord Commander and spending time under threat with the free folk (even if they do get along now) will probably just want to go home. Punishment for kinslaying will be for him to hold another position no one wants; the throne. Where when Aegon is set to take it, the kingdoms are in chaos, he’ll seem like a bright spot with hope, we might see him pay attention to food issues, the chaos, logistics, etc. And then he dies. And then Dany dies. And all that’s left are the survivors - those seemingly forgotten and condemned to this place afflicted by war and famine -, and Jon. His punishment for kinslaying (and maybe making mistakes with Dany) will not be able to go home, or be made to take up a post at the Watch; he’s condemned, once again, to the people who’ll seem more dead than alive after everything that’s occurred. 

Jon’s duty was, and will continue to be, to the condemned.

post-writing notes: this got way longer than i expected (the jords ohsweetflips story), so this is going under the cut, but enjoy my huge mama backstory headcanons!!!

first things first, i hc mama as a lesbian, bc i am a lesbian, and i feel very attached to mama, so i hc her as a lesbian (but also i believe that anyone can hc her to be anything that they damn well please)

and, forgive me, i don’t know shit abt west virginian geography, but i think she grew up in a town like aubrey’s? like i know we didn’t get a lot of description of aubrey’s younger life outside her home, but i kinda see mama as having this “old money” type homelife

and bc i, jords ohsweetflips, wish i had a group of lesbian friends so that i could’ve had some guidance in my teen years, i hc that, in her town, she found her way into the small yet secure lesbian “scene” that was just a couple girls around her age (i see her as 15 at this time, with others ranging 15-18) along with a couple who were, like, 19/20

and tbh, just the vibe i get from mama and how she seems much more inclined towards found family than blood relatives, i don’t think she had the nicest folks so, when she came out, that was it, you know?

and tbh i completely see mama (well, madeline at this point) as someone who is very like “i don’t need help, i can do things on my own,” even as a young teen, so i think for, like, a week or two, she did the whole “on her own” things

but bc her friends were absolute angels, and also found out that she had been essentially homeless, two of the girls who are 19 and 20 and have an apartment are like “fuck no, you’re staying with us”

and madeline is at first like “no, really, i’m fine” but the thought of an actually loving home is too tempting to ignore

so from the ages of 15 to 18, she lives with her friends!!! she was fairly good at art at this point so she was able to get some in to the local galleries and shops and make some money off of it, and then when she was around 17, her friends were able to get her a job bussing at the bar they worked in

she also liked to whittle a lot!!! she made a lot of ducks

she was 18 when she decided to move out, and that’s when she heard of kepler. or, more so, she heard of it from another one of her friends who dubbed it as “a place fit for you, mads”

so she managed to save up enough money for an apartment and she moved out of her hometown and absolutely the friends she lived with cried their eyes out when they were helping her move in and tbh even madeline got a bit teary eyed bc they were like family, you know?

and so basically, from the ages of 18-24, she lived in kepler and got her bearings and this was when she started to get really into wood carving!!! she was able to get some pieces out there and get some recognition and, by her mid20s, she was actually making decent money, or at least enough to not be living paycheck to paycheck

in this phase of living in kepler, i think she was in a very “people knew her but she didn’t know them that well” just bc i don’t see her as the type of person to be a “social butterfly”? i think she mostly, tho, became friendly with the man who ran kepler’s local coffee shop, and the wives who owned the little dipper back before it was the hornet’s nest. she’s also def met leo and thacker, but only in passing, mostly. i think, once she got closer to her late 20s/early 30s, she would have heard of duck and juno but, in her being 18-24, they were probably still kids/young teenagers.

WAIT I CAN’T FORGET 1980S MAMA AESTHETIC: whole lot of jackets. she did a lot of thrift shopping so she has so many huge jackets. lot of denim. and leather. work boots. flannel. patches. are you picking up on the self projection yet.

and then, in november of 1988, when she was 24, the gate went up. she encountered her first abomination by accident. she had been out in the woods, just trekking back to her apartment and deciding to take the scenic route, when all of a sudden.... one of the smaller trees started moving? and she was like “well that’s not what trees do” and then she saw that the tree had a jagged mouth dripping with sap and branches acting like long, clawed hands, and she was like “well that ain’t no normal tree”

i don’t have my Big Brave Madeline “Mama” Cobb Origin Battle Story yet but she definitely just chopped the shit out of the tree and it managed to work

i think it would be Very Funny if, very shortly after that, her first sylph was barclay. like, i have a feeling that age works a bit different for sylphs, and honestly i have no clue where they would get the disguises from? maybe heathcliff? but the thought of madeline running into Literal Bigfoot and barclay, maybe like 20yo in sylph age, being like “WAIT DON’T KILL ME” bc this young woman already looks ready for leather is very entertaining

and that’s when mama learns abt the sylphs, and how they’re not abominations, and barclay shows her the gate 

and also yes barclay absolutely stays in her apartment except he is So Hidden bc imagine the chaos of Literal Bigfoot being in her apartment! hysterical!

but, soon, mama crosses over into sylvain and figures out Everything that has gone on and knows abt the crystal shattering and the wars and she realizes that there have been sylphs exiled to earth and she’s like “well that ain’t gonna fly”

so she starts the pineguard and, for that first year, it’s mostly just her? and, at that point, it’s harder to locate sylphs, so she only has barclay and one or two others staying with her and it’s cramped but they’re safe so she’s happy

she meets thacker around... april 1989, i think? i know it was spring. so he helps out, and then they recruit another guy, mike (canonically mentioned in the water arc), and a couple others, and, suddenly, the pineguard is turning into an actual thing

and then, one of the ski lodges up on topside closes, now leaving a completely empty inn just... taking up space...... and it’s only a half mile from the gate........... and she has been making a decent amount of money from her sculptures

before the end of 1989, amnesty lodge is set up and running and, all of a sudden, it’s like she has another real home again. she loves the sylphs she meets and they can be safe with her!!

thacker absolutely has a bunch of “home videos” where, really, he’s just messing around with madeline. it’s almost like a “madeline cobb nature documentary” as she finishes up the lodge and treks through the woods. there’s also some of barclay and moira, and other pineguard members, and other sylphs that show up. he also has his journals and pictures and other books and, at one point, the cellar looks like thacker’s library

also the ballad of bigfoot is absolutely canonical and, after stephanie & griffin & C.M. leave the lodge, thacker has never seen madeline go off like she did on barclay that night. barclay still has some residual fear for hearing mama (who’s a big woman but he is Big Foot so he is definitely just Big) scream up at him “I WILL PUT YOU BACK IN THE WOODS WHERE I FOUND YOU, DON’T YOU TEST ME, BARCLAY”

even tho the two of them don’t talk abt it much, and might not even realize it that early on (picturing like late 20s/early 30s), thacker and mama really are best friends and, tbh, every sylph can see it in the way they bicker yet unconditionally care for each other

madeline almost kicked thacker out of the pineguard when she first found out what he put in his gorp

dani showed up in 2009 and, at the age of 12, she was the youngest sylph amnesty lodge had by a fucking landslide, and that made madeline so angry yet so sad bc this child had been exiled from her home and that was just a thing that could happen

(madeline never got along too well with woodbridge but, after that, knowing that he is the one in charge of the exiles, she could never even be civil with him)

she was immediately protective of dani and was ready to really step in as a parental figure bc she wasn’t abt to let this young girl be without guidance

and she gave dani handmedowns and took her shopping and would make sure that she felt safe and comfortable bc, really, she was the only sylph in the lodge who wasn’t an adult. and, fortunately, barclay was basically an older brother to her and moira looked out for her and i think dani coming into the lodge was what really gave everyone a very big reality check bc, like. she’s a kid

(is it obvious that i’m a bit attached to mama and dani)

and so it should come as no shock that, within a year of dani being in amnesty lodge, madeline became “mama”

and then, in 2011, jake, age 16, showed up, and by then mama was like “alright time to adopt him”

but also, real talk, mama looks out for all her sylphs so much, she’d lay down her life for any of them

when thacker leaves in 2013, she’s at first okay, doing just fine. he promised that he would come back, and she has faith in him. and then months pass. and then a year. and then two. and, all of a sudden, it’s the spring of 2016 and kepler expeditions is officially shut down and mama realizes just how much she misses her best friend.

and, not to mention, the waning of the pineguard.

by the time it gets to the summer of 2018, it’s just her and barclay, the both of them hoping things stay the same, but hope hasn’t gotten them too far

and then they have a fire magician, and a forest ranger with a talking sword, and ned fucking chicane

and now we have reached canon!!! thank u for coming to my ted talk!!!!

also tho, post-finale during the big reunion, thacker is just talking with aubrey and all of a sudden is like “holy shit, you really are like her, aren’t you?” and aubrey is just like “???” and thacker says, “don’t go tellin’ her, because she’ll kick my ass, but talkin’ to you is just like talkin’ to maddie when she was your age” and aubrey is a bit :’)

Ohhhhhh my godddddddd I’m gonna diiiiiie. Ok let the memories resurface, this may take a minute.

my all-time ultimate fave character:

Stef. I just really liked her arcs, how straight forward she is, etc. Classic ISTJ tbh... cautious, reserved, protective, methodical, quietly affectionate. Like at the end of the day, I think she’s my fave. The kids go through so much ups and downs and Dumbass Moments that none of them can be my fave, and Lena is a close second but the writers only gave her one strong arc, and that’s when she tried to have a baby and that was so painful.

For several seasons I used to say my fave was Mike because he was Prime Dad Material. Like in the very first episode, he comes off as this douchey, entitled, deadbeat asshole who oversteps boundaries, right? Classic switcheroo. You find out this man is a saint, this man oozes emotional sensitivity and communication and affection, this man is also a dilf with eyelashes longer than should be legal. When he fostered AJ (I’m crying right now). Getting Ana through rehab??? Fighting his own alcohol addiction and not breaking once. Like the only time he ever let me down was his reaction to Dani MOLESTING Brandon, but he realized like whoa wait a minute... Brandon’s been taken advantage of and if Brandon were a girl he would see it different... Like all of Mike’s mistakes were temporary mistakes, he recovered quick and tried to do the right thing. If only his son was as quick on the uptake 😒

Brandon. It took five seasons for me to like Brandon. You know how many seasons this show had? Five. And it’s because he’s pulled through the ringer of Suffering™ and it’s almost ALL his fault so that by the end when he’s doing the right thing again and again for the first time ever... and meets that super sweet girl... and then she DIES 

a character I used to like but now don’t:

Jude. He was such an intuitive, intense child, with wisdom earned from awful trauma, and watching him slowly assert himself was a wonder to watch. I do think the writers got lost with him, because his second love interest was a bore, his pothead thing was awful to watch, and when he became a twitch streamer with Taylor—WHAAACK. By the time of Good Trouble (which takes place years after The Fosters, so Jude is a sophomore/junior in college) Jude is drinking a LOT, partying a LOT, and fucking!!! a LOT!! Makes me concerned. Idk, it just felt like he lost his intuition halfway through the show and kept doing dumb stuff.

a character I’m indifferent about:

Every ex of the family lmao, idr them and I was not too fired up about any of them except maybe Emma. Like all of Jesus’ and Brandon’s exes I can’t remember.

a character who deserved better:

AJ. Literally just him and Mike are just the cutest because of how earnestly the actor plays AJ, you know I love found family tropes and stuff.

 Mat. Such a sweetheart, the most accommodating and supportive boyfriend. So talented. Gorgeous hair. Mariana didn’t deserve him.

Cole. This boy fought SO HARD to be recognized for his gender, organized an LGBTQA prom for all his classmates who were rejected from their school’s prom, had to get hormones off the black market, and was so intuitive and loyal... honestly I loved Cole.

Aaron. SUCH a confusing end. Out of all the love interests, he and Callie popped with the most chemistry. The shared quest, the rides on the motorcycle, pictures at the beach, his great college advice. Their fight at her prom was so left-field and upsetting, and we know it’s because they wanted Callie to be single when the series ended so she could be free to date in Good Trouble. If I’m not mistaken, theirs is the first trans/cis relationship portrayed on network television... ever? And I mean a relationship, not a hook up.

Wyatt. Another sweetheart, what happened between him and Callie wasn’t really about him, it was about her and it was definitely about legal issues, and she was right to set her boundaries, but ouch that hurt. Gorgeous hair.

Notice how most of this list either dated Callie or crushed on her lmao except for Mat. Also

Rita. The woman lives and breathes childcare and youth advocacy. Let her win.

DAPHNE KEENE. She had her daughter with her in the series finale but I haven’t heard mention of her yet in Good Trouble, she’d better have custody and a job salary over 70k for what this show put her through.

EMMA. This poor girl was practically torn in two between the twins, from Jesus’ messy/horny ass to Mariana’s bossy controlling ass. She should be president.

a ship I’ve never been able to get into:

Most of Jesus’ relationships. He’s a fuck up so all of them are basically waiting for a train wreck. His most healthy one was with Emma, who was too good for him, and the one with most chemistry was with Lexi, but she was messy af too so that wasn’t going to work.

a ship I’ve never been able to get over:

Jude/Connor. It sailed and sunk in two minutes. So apparently, Jude/Connor have the youngest LGBT kiss shown on television. This show really made history, huh. They were adorable, they literally struggled to be a couple (since Connor’s dad is homophobic) and then after being a couple for like 2 episodes, Connor’s dad walking in on them kissing and basically blowing up was so traumatizing for the kid that he moved in with his mom in LA to get away from him. They try to do the long distance thing but they're middle schoolers... and it’s their first relationship each... and both of them are just now figuring out that they’re gay. it doesn’t work out. Would love for Connor to come back in Good Trouble and try to woo Jude or something (cuz Jude...???? he’s just FUCKING... ALL the time. Like one second he’s the adorable 12-year-old you just want to shield from the world, and then it’s like TIME SKIP, he’s a college frat boy now and he fucks “straight” boys every weekend).

an unpopular ship but I still enjoyed it:

Stef/Lena; because they’re the main couple on the show and yet we as the audience forget that they’re even an option as an OTP. These two are marriage goals. They fight, they argue, they have conflicting viewpoints, but they always sit down and talk at the end of the day, and they pull it together because of their love for the kids and each other. I live for them, I seriously wanted them to adopt me. I’d cook for the family so they would be an ounce less stressed. They’re such great moms and they try SO hard to be there for the kids, who each come with truckloads of baggage and problems all befitting network TV teen drama protagonists.

a ship that was totally wrong and never should have happened:

BRALLIE. They’re SIBLINGSSSS AHHHH. “But they’re foster siblings” I DON’T CARE. This is not a damn Victorian novel, it’s gross. Maybe in season 1 it wasn’t as bad since Callie had zero intentions of staying with the Adams-Fosters family and was used to being bounced around in foster care, but after bonding with them all and truly believing they wanted her, season 2 onward Brallie disgusts me.

Mariana/Nick. Let’s talk about his actor for a second. Louis Hunter played a teenager in The Secret Circle back in 2011 (don’t @ me but I loved that show) and guess what, friends, he was TOO FUCKING OLD to play a teenager THEN. That opinion stands 7 years later. An absolute creep who traumatized Mariana, the girl had to go to THERAPY. She went to THERAPY because of him.

Lena/Monte. UGHHHHHHHHh this made me so mad. Monte was being so gross and inappropriate, like not only is Lena her employee/subordinate... but Lena is a WOMAN. She’s grown as hell and confident in her identity and has a whole ass wife (a WIFE) and a family to take care of, and here comes Monte with her weird ass flirtations and stuff. She could NEVER. Lena is a goddess and Monte but an ant crawling on the sidewalk outside her temple.

my favourite storyline/moment:

When Stef confronted her internalized homophobia and misogyny during his breast cancer scare and she cut her hair to symbolize her ownership of her femininity. That was POWERFUL. Stef actually had so many great emotional arcs throughout the show; losing her father (who never really “got” her “lesbianism”), her mother’s breast cancer scare, HER breast cancer scare, her fight to become a detective, maybe it’s Teri Polo but Stef is such a stand-up, rigid character with such a strong moral center that watching her trudge through emotional trauma every gd episode was riveting.

Jude’s selective mutism. I remember this out of nowhere, but Jude went mute?? And he had to see a therapist, who deduced his problem and attributed it to an anxiety disorder and advised the family not to stress him out or pressure him to talk, and he went like this for a couple episodes. Like this boy went through so much trauma that it took like one thing, one little thing, to make him shut down. And Callie like patiently waiting for him to speak, and then her seeing her rapist and the only person she wanted to talk to about it was her little brother and he still wouldn’t talk, he just sits there playing video games, and she sends him a message on Xbox Live saying ‘Please talk to me’ and he ignores it then she sends another message “I saw Liam today” and he just looks at her as tears are falling down her face and places his hand on her arm in support. I. CRIED. Even after that moment, like in the next episode he’s still mute and Callie reminds him again that he’s been so strong compared to her that he’s “due for a breakdown” and not to feel any pressure to talk before he’s ready, and they fucking plant flowers together for Lena (I’m covering my mouth with one hand to keep from crying, I’m getting old feels. Remember when we used to say ‘feels’?). Ok I’m done.

Ok the storyline where Brandon is caught cheating for people on the SATs and won’t be able to go to Juilliard was POWERFUL. I loved that Brandon and Lena had a lot of bonding moments, and Lena was honest with Brandon in a way no one else was, she was like these are the consequences of your actions. You had decisions to make and you made the bad decisions every time, and now you’re here. Remember when you selling fake IDs for that dealer ended with your hand getting smashed so you can’t play classical music any more? Did you learn from that? Clearly not. POWERFUL. Lena scalped me on that day.

a storyline that never should have been written:

Most of Brandon’s storylines lmao. Him selling the fake IDs, him taking SATs for other students, him dating that 21+ woman with a kid and deciding he has to drop out of school and get a full time job to take care of her??? I love how Stef had to pull him aside and tell him “You’re Captain Save-A-Ho! And I know this because you got your Save-A-Ho gene from me!!” Brandon was MESSY. Despite being the typically “boring” of the kids in that he didn’t party or drink, he had interest in typical teen stuff, he was also impulsive in the worst way with his relationships and would get tunnel vision. Remember when Stef and Lena had to pull a restraining on Brandon for Callie??? My godddddd, a MESS. We’re not going to talk about how he finally fell in love with the right girl and she fucking dies.

BRALLIE. That bit where Callie didn’t think she was getting adopted so she FUCKS BRANDON, I’M NOT OVER IT. AHHHH.

Jude becoming a pothead. It was really dumb. I’d have been happier if the focus was on his anxiety and how it helped him.

Everything Monte related.

The time Jude downloaded Grindr and met up with a guy in his motel room?? And the guy was a grown man?? And of course he freaks out because Jude is a kid and tells him to gtfo??? That made me SOOOOO uncomfortable, which is why I hated it. BUT, I liked how the moms handled it, because obviously he’s a boy who’s curious and he’s surrounded by other kids—especially his four siblings with their tumultuous whirlwind of relationships—who are constantly making out with this person and hooking up with that person, and because he’s gay... and has this limited dating pool... and his first love moved to another fucking city to escape his homophobic dad... how does he get to explore his sexuality? who does he get to kiss at a party? This was so relatable, so many lgbtqa youth deal with this everyday, this sort of social pressure and FOMO as the cis straight kids around us are hitting all these romantic and sexual milestones while we’re sitting on an island. And obviously Stef and Lena sympathize, but then empathize how incredibly dangerous it was because Jude could’ve gotten hurt, there are guys out there who could do terrible things to him and he has to think these things through, not to mention the guy in question could’ve been just a normal dude trying to get it on and that he was put in danger—and this was the same season that explores how Jesus and Mariana’s birth father ended up on the sex offenders’ registry. It was handled well but remembering this storyline gives me anxiety.

The Jack storyline. I forgot this kid’s name and what happened to him so I had to peruse the wiki and I fell down a rabbit hole. Basically, this is a kid who was in a privatized group home, during a season in which Callie does volunteer work with a woman, Justina Marks, who is trying to pass a bill to reform child social services—only to discover that she wants to privatized the foster system to make money off of them, which of course makes Callie like do a BUNCH of risky stupid shit to take her down. So Jack gets temporarily moved into the Adams-Fosters home, proving to be a very quirky, quiet, sensitive boy, he kisses Jude after Jude’s breakup with Connor? Then reveals he’s not actually gay, he just wanted Jude to be happy? And it’s really fucking sad because he has this bleeding heart and this need to make everyone around him happy because he sees himself as this burden. Then he gets placed into a new foster home, despite Stef and Lena wanting to keep him around... and he gets put in the same foster home with the same man who abused Jude in the show’s pilot—and like the inciting incident for the show itself (Callie destroying his car to distract him from beating her brother > her going to juvie > her getting beat up in juvie > Lena seeing this poor bruised up girl and thinking “she’s my daughter now”). So Jack ends up being fostered by the horrible, abusive man who should never have been allowed to be within feet of a child again, and Stef just so happens to be one of the officers nearby when a domestic disturbance is called in, and when she arrives at the house with her partner she’s like “bruh I know this house” and when she goes into the kitchen she steps on something: a pair of glasses. Whose glasses???

JACK’S. And she quietly lays a sheet over his dead body. His foster father, who’d already been arrested once for beating Jude, shot him in a drunken rage. And CALLIE LATER FINDS OUT JuSTINA MARKS SET IT UP TO USE AS HER FACE CASE IN SUPPORT OF HER BILL.

my first thoughts on the show:

Literally the first time I heard the theme song when I randomly decided to watch it on Netflix in like 2014 (2015? I can’t remember, I don’t think season 3 was out at that point so it might’ve been 2014) I was like oh this is going to be the crying show.

I was right. I would not rewatch this show lmao, but I’m fond of it. I did randomly decide to start watching Good Trouble and surprisingly I like it and I missed the characters. I can look back and appreciate how this show handled a lot of tender topics as tastefully as they could, and examine them from a lot of different angles.

Hiya!! I'm so glad you like it so far! I technically did start it on my main, however I need to update the chapters cause I've changed a LOT about them, I'll probably be posting the first two(the prologue and chapter one) sometime really soon!

As for getting to know the characters, sure! It's gonna be really unorganized tho 😅

Also in the story itself though we don't meet most of the characters(the human ones at least) until later on but I will be drawing them a LOT

Evanna(Species - Dali) : She's a well respected queen of the kingdom Tongyi! However, cause her mother wasn't great whatsoever, Evanna got stuck with a war that began before she took the throne. She's reckless and puts the safety of others above her own, and she really loves poetry! She has a whole library filled with as many poetry books she could get her hands on, as well as some of her own works. Evanna's also Aro/Ace!

Erin(Species - Dali) : Erin is Evanna's head guard, and is always by her side(unless he's out of commission). He's the one that's prevented an early death for Evanna so far. He has a wonderful wife named Azzy, who he absolutely adores! He gushes about her to anyone who will listen, and she gets to stay at the castle with him and Evanna. Erin's pretty intelligent, and despite being a soldier his actual powers are fairly weak, and he relies more on strength than energy(despite looking like a beanstalk-). He's also very touchy and loves kissing people's foreheads, hands, cheeks, etc. Unless it's with Azzy, those are all platonic

Nezu(Species - Dali) : One of the most powerful healers of their age, Nezu was kept hidden from the world for as long as they can remember. Their parents were just looking out for them. Both ended up dying in a battle so Nezu finally got to leave the house and actually help the wounded, and even heals Evanna! Nezu's quite curious about a lot of things, and can very easily kick your ass if you disrespect someone close to them. Also they're like,,, 12-14 in the beginning of the story and they're small but ends up being a highly admired healer within like a year cause of their crazy healing abilities

Dani(Species - Dali?) : Grew up in the kingdom Hayes, until his parents were killed and his brother took the throne. Dani instead of being prince still was kinda,,,, exiled from the kingdom, and once he reached Tongyi he was put into the orphanage. Once he's older, Evanna adopts him cause she needs an heir but she refuses to have a biological child. He's a huge jerk cause of isolation and all that but he warms up to Evanna quickly. It takes him longer to warm up to the visiting(and later resident) humans though. Oh, he's also bisexual! He also doesn't like kissing on the lips, but loves forehead and nose kisses

Leona(Species - Human+???) : So Leona also had a rough childhood, her brothers disappeared from her life early on, her parents were neglectful. They kicked her out when they found out she was lesbian, and Leona had no way to support herself. She ended up turning to a life of crime, and was soon one of the youngest members of an organization called Tempest. Tempest was a government experiment, combining various DNAs into a human and seeing how that affected them, except it became very corrupt and the leaders would give out assignments to go kill anyone who posed a threat to them. Leona works her way up the ranks fast cause she's good as an assassin, and has only not completed 1 mission to date

Marie(Species - Human) : Marie actually had a great childhood! She was loved dearly by her moms and although her and her brother had their differences, they were still there for one another. Their biggest argument(that lasted nearly three months) was about Marie being bisexual and how her brother didn't believe it(he came around and apologized profusely to her, and since has learned more about LGBTQ+ stuff). Something really tragic happens not long before she adopts a fifteen year old, however imma leave it at that. Marie also works at a cafe that supports those who've been through something very traumatic, and she adores her job.

Jeremiah(Species - Human?+???) : Jeremiah was also part of Tempest, his parents both being part of the organization and prompting him to join. He was often just called "Pup" by everyone. Jeremiah's actually trans! However he doesn't feel he needs nor wants top surgery. He wasn't a field Tempest member like Leona though, he was an engineer. A really skilled one too. Sexuality wise he's panromantic asexual! Also he's pretty short(as are many of these characters) Loves cuddling!!

Taylor(Species - Human?) : Taylor was the teen adopted by Marie! While Marie is quite sweet, Taylor's personality is actually far more similar to Leona's and to an extent, Evanna's. She gets called Aunty Tay by any small child for some reason and she just m e l t s. Really loves Marie and the rest of the Sydney family. Taylor's actually quite protective! Especially of her younger cousin. She's polyamorous(probably spelling that wrong-) however doesn't really consider herself as part of the LGBTQ+ community(I'm pretty sure poly people are included?) cause she otherwise identifies as hetero.

daniela grew up in a large and boisterious lower middle class family. she is the youngest of five siblings and the only girl ( that’s right four older brothers ! ) her mom was a prenatal nurse and the local hospital and worked long hours while her dad managed a few different grocery stores in the area, they weren’t necessarily poor but with five kids sometimes they struggled to make ends meet and give them all a comfortable life. 

her parents were always the type to push the value of hard work on their children, they didn’t want them to struggle to make ends meet. so they preached good grades and good work ethic to each of them.

being the youngest and only girl dani was babied most of her life. she was practically raised by her older brother each of which had a certain soft spot for their sister. 

while on the outside she probably came off as the girliest girl growing up always wanting to wear pink and sparkles she knew how to get down and dirty with the best of them. she spent a lot of time watching and playing with her brothers. girl can take hit lbr. 

up to high school dani just kind of floated through life. she had friends, she only tried hard i school to please her parents, etc. but, she was always that girl that saw the beauty in everything and kinda had her head in clouds. 

when graduation came around girl really had no idea what to do. she knew her parents wanted her to go to college and get some kind of financially stable career but for airy dani that just didn’t sound like what she wanted to do. 

but being the people pleaser she was she went off to a local state college and majored in business. 

it was around this time that she started her instagram account and started posting lots of fashion and beauty shots of her along with aesthetic pictures. honestly has the most poppin gram ever. 

it wasn’t long into her freshman year did dani realize how miserable she was in college, she hated her classes and didn’t have much friends. of course, at this time her instagram was booming widely growing larger and larger each day. 

after being approached by a few modeling comapnies in vancover via instagram she made a quick impulsive decision that college wasn’t for her. she dropped out, packed her bags and moved to the city and into the apartment complex. 

her parents know about her choice but do not support her so they refuse to be in contact with her directly electing to send messages through her brothers who she talks to via facetime from time to time. she hates that she hurt her parents like that but she is much happier.

she works at a local diner as a way to supplement her income while she’s still trying to make it big in the modeling world.

Hey, Hartfans! So glad you were here, it means the world to me. You guys have tuned in, thanks so much. Don't forget to subscribe to this amazing channel because, you know what? It's an amazing thing to do. Because when you do that, you become super powerful! No, I'm sorry, that's a promise I can't keep.

Alright, Danny Phantom. Danny Phantom, we do a lot of Danny Phantom videos here on the channel, and why is that? I love Danny Phantom. That's a show I created back in the year 2000, and I think I created it in 2001 but it didn't even start airing until 2004. So I worked on it for about three years before it even got onto television, and it was such a great show to develop. So now I'm working on the fast-paced, rapid-fire world of Fairly Odd Parents, now I've got to work on a whole different show, Danny Phantom. And Danny Phantom ends in 2007. It, uh, you know, the show wasn't getting picked up, they were done - and networks do this sometimes. They certainly don't want to do every single show by one creator, I learned that. *Laughs* "Hey, why don't you guys do ALL my shows?!"

*whispers* Would have been fun, though, huh? 'Magine- wouldn't it be cool, all Butch Hartman sh-, I have, anyway. And just, it's a dre-am.

So, anyway, Danny Phantom stopped, in my opinion, too early. So when I got to do more Danny Phantom ideas here on the YouTube channel, I just couldn't believe how awesome that was. I got to do Danny Phantom 10 Years Later, what would the characters look like ten years later. But I was thinking, what if we did a video where it wasn't Danny Phantom ten years later, he's 24. What if we did a Danny Phantom video where he's just out of high school, and he's in college? Danny Phantom, the college years. What would that be like? What would happen to Danny Phantom, Sam Manson, and Tucker Foley if we caught them in college? What would that be like? What type of a show would that be? I mean, let's just picture that for a second.

Danny Fenton is now, let's say, 18, 19 years old, and how's he dressing now? I think we still have to dress him in the classic Fenton, Danny Fenton t-shirt, but maybe there's a hoodie over it. Maybe there's some type of other uh, uh, stuff he wears to - obviously to, to make him more hip and more uh, giving more trendy for the time. But what is Danny all about? Because this would take place after Phantom Planet. Phantom Planet is where Danny saved the world from a Disasteroid. He turned the world intangible with the help of every ghost in the Ghost Zone. Earth became intangible, the asteroid passed through it, and uh, Danny uh, is now revered throughout the planet earth. He's like, uh, the world's ultimate star - ultimate superhero. If he's gonna continue to, to walk in that storyline, what would Danny's life be like? I mean, he's gotta go to college, right? He's got to continue learning, and so do Sam and Tucker. But what is that gonna be like?

Now, Tucker is the mayor of Amity Park. Yeah. So, Tucker's now the 18 - he's been mayor probably for four or five years now. Maybe he keeps getting reelected because he's popular, and he's funny, and I think with Tucker's technology, I think Tucker has technified - ooh, Technus. Oppertunity for Technus - I think technified uh, Amity Park like crazy. I think there's just electronic billboards everywhere, I think there are uh, parking meters you can just press your thumb to them and pay for your parking. I think there's retina scans everywhere. I think Tucker just tried to make life so much easier for Amity Parkians. And maybe Tucker has become a world-renowned of, uh, of, of how to run a city. *Laughs* That Might be kind of cool. AND he still wants to go to college, and so I think Tucker would probably be a teacher at the college at this young age. I think he's probably the youngest teacher.

I think the school they would go to is probably... I was gonna call it Amity University because it's in Amity Park, but I have a feeling since Danny's now a, a world hero, I think they're probably going to call it Fenton University, I think they name it after him. But I think Tucker uh, is, is probably the greatest mayor that's ever lived, at least as far as advancing his city. I just think Tucker wouldn't have time to teach at a college at this point, he's still young, he's still the mayor, people are lovin' what he does. And I just think he's actually going on lecture tours to other mayors. *Laughs* He's out to other cities to show them how to advance as well. I think that technology can even be turned against him in a huge way. Maybe Technus at one point can turn the entire city of Amity Park against Danny.

Danny, uh, can't really go anywhere on his own because he's always got people following him. I think people trying to get his picture, but I think people are used to it.

No matter where Danny goes, if he's in a coffee shop, I can see a shot where they're sitting in the coffee shop and the camera's looking at them, but you see out the window all these people pressed against the glass, trying to see Danny. I think Danny's life has become really, really, uh, just not a life of his own. He's like a rock star now and he doesn't have any privacy. And Sam, I think, is stuck by him. Number one, I think she loves him and he loves her, so they stick together everywhere. But they're trying to find ways to be alone, and I think they're trying to find ways to still accomplish the mission which is, even though all the ghosts have teamed up with Danny and saved the Earth, I still think when the ghosts went back into the Ghost Zone uh, they uh, still love the game of fighting Danny. I think there are some other ghosts we haven't even met yet that, uh, think it was a mistake to save the Earth, and they want to destroy Danny even more than ever now. You know, being a college student, Danny would still have to do his homework. He's still i-if he wants to be treated just like anybody else.

I think Dani, D-A-N-I, Danielle Fenton, she probably goes to college now, too. She's probably a year behind Danny, or two years behind Danny. I think he's more of a wild card though. I think she's more of a street kid, and she's used to being on the streets and I think she, she doesn't have the sympathetic side that Danny does. I almost think Dani would be like Dr. Manhattan and the Watchmen, in a way. Not where he's so aloof and just removed from humanity, but he really can't relate to people the same way anymore.

As I'm sitting here, talking about this, I think it'd be kind of cool where the whole arc of the story would be Danny trying to maintain his humanity. Because his human side wants to be with people, but the people are so swarming him, he can't relate to them anymore. He wants to be away from them. So maybe his ghost side starts taking over and wants to be more alone, whereas in The Watchmen, Dr. Manhattan went to Mars to be alone, maybe Danny goes somewhere. Maybe Danny moves into the Ghost Zone for a while. I can see Danny having a uh, loft apartment in the Ghost Zone, and him and Sam go hang out there just to get away from everybody. That's the one place people can't follow them.

But What about Jazz Fenton, Danny's sister? What would she be doing at this point? I mean, Danny's world famous, he's got to be watched and protected. Two theories. One, Jazz could be a professor at Fenton University as well. But one fan theory, and I like this theory, suggests that maybe Jazz marries Dash Baxter? I don't know. Maybe. I think, though, Jazz becomes Danny's handler. I think Jazz is constantly moving Danny from place to place. She's his protector, she's his PR person. She is his ultimate Danny Phantom social media director, everything.

Again, these are things I think about as I'm sitting here behind this desk because I never leave this desk. I'm actually fused to the desk. I'm half-man, half-desk, all Butch Hartman.

All right, we have to introduce new characters, too. We have to have new students in school, with secrets. We'd have to have new teachers, with secrets. Uh, and since he's known worldwide, I, I think he's always being challenged. I think Danny's always being challenged to see how good he is, so I think he's constantly having to fight.

Overanalyzing Every Appearance of Maxime and Manon, Part 4

When a character doesn’t have a lot of appearances but you need some   solid character development to RP with, what do you do? Overanalyze   every single panel. Part 4: New Mutants vol 4 #6, 8, 11, and 18, plus Empyre: X-Men #3. Less commentary on body language in this one and more general commentary. New Mutants vol 4 #6

Manon and Maxime are both very animated here. “Why did you make them shoot each other?” appears to be a completely absurd question to them.

Nevertheless, they listen to what Glob has to say—Manon taking the lead as usual. I have no idea what the expressions on the next page are supposed to be conveying. Moving ahead.

They take what Glob says to heart and tries the “convince them they’re your friends” method. They seem less confident with it, and definitely aren’t enjoying themselves like they were earlier.

At least they tried? Like in “Extermination,” when they have the option, it seems like the closer to the head they can get, the easier it is to use their powers or the better they work. I’ll have to look back at Extermination to see if this is more true for one twin than the other. (It looks like it’s just a matter of who can reach the head, and when they both can, they do)

They don’t need to be told twice. They may not care if the bad guys die, but they’re not wasting time trying to save Beak. Whether this is because they care about Beak or just that he’s Glob and Armor’s friend, I can’t be sure.

Manon is helping Maxime into the truck, not any of the many children that need to get in. I think at this point, protecting each other still trumps everything and everyone else. I doubt it’s malicious—probably just instinct at this point. They’re used to being the youngest, so worrying about smaller kids probably just isn’t on their radar yet.

It’s not shown on panel, but the twins get out of the truck, remaining with Glob, Armor, and Boom-Boom. They want to help, sure, but they live with Glob and Armor, not Beak and Angel. If they’re going to win someone over by being helpful, it makes sense that it would be the people who have an influence on their day to day lives.

Neither look particularly upset by the carnage around them. Considering that they usually stick together when they’re afraid, I’d venture that dead bodies don’t really bother them, nor does how many of them are dead at their hand. Innocent does not equal good.

They’re so proud that they made Beak feel better!

Manon’s arms are crossed, holding herself. She can tell Armor is upset, but doesn’t seem to understand why, and I think that makes her nervous.

Max has gone from sitting cross-legged to crouching. I wonder if, with Armor and Glob angry at them, he’s automatically preparing to use his powers if he has to. But then we get to the next panel, and…someone confused which kid has which power, so there goes that theory.

As quickly as they apologized---without asking any questions---I doubt they really understand why it was wrong (and I doubt they are used to getting to ask questions). I think they’re simply sorry they made Armor and Glob mad.

New Mutants vol 4 #11

In #11, they finally get to be helpful when Dani asks them to help Cosmar sleep without nightmares until they have a better solution.

Manon is speaking with some person experience, and it’s touching and sad. I don’t think Maxime and Manon are ready to work through what happened to them with Ahab. As freely as they used their powers on Beak and Angel, I wonder if they haven’t used their powers on each other to help them avoid dealing with their grief and guilt? It’d be cool if Dani could work with them more in the future -- they clearly need more help than they’re getting.

As much as they want to be helpful, it doesn’t look like they’re very confident using their powers outside the ways they’re used to.

They’re happy to try, though!

Extras: Empyre: X-Men #3 and New Mutants vol 4 #18

In Empyre, the psychics of Krakoa are called in to help, and Manon is among them. Maxime, however, is nowhere to be seen. Does his empathy work in a different way (eg, pheromones), or did he just not fit in this panel, I wonder? Looks to me like Manon might regret agreeing to help this time.

Maxine and Manon appear in the background of New Mutants #18, watching the Crucible, with Xi’an fighting on behalf of her brother, Tran. Not knowing how complicated Karma and Tran’s relationship is, they probably think it’s pretty cool that Krakoa has a way to bring back her brother. I wonder how often they think about who they would bring back, if they could?

They may enjoy watching a fight to the death, but it looks like they can still be shocked. I would love to see Reis draw them more!

Dani Jones:

She’s a 21 year old that decided to explore an abandoned studio with her friends. Unfortunately, while they escaped, she didn’t. After walking through Hell and back, even being dead for a short time, she finally got out with several other humans and three toons.

Being the good person that she is, Dani kept her word to Henry and decided to take care of them and let them move in with her,

That said, she is having fun teaching them about technology and other things. And helping them adjust to their new time period. To make things better, they have two guardian angels protecting them.

College Major: Vet Tech

Job: A basic retail job.

Height: 5'5

Age: 21 years old.

Family: Parents and a older brother

Wally Franks:

Due to the trauma that Joey did to him, he’s still jumpy and suffers nightmares like mostly everyone else. Eventually Shawn makes him a plushie and he squeezes it to calm down when he feels like having a panic attack. Wally isn't malnourished anymore either.

When he is calm, he and Dani have a sibling relationship and will play video games and stuff with her and others. He really loves memes and will reference them for hours. He also enjoys Let's Plays on a certain website. And teases a certain someone about a Irish video gamer.

For the most part, he is his old self again. Much to Sammy’s dismay.

Age: 22 Years old.

Family: Parents, two older brothers, and a younger sister. Was closest to his second oldest brother.

Sammy Lawrence:

Sammy had several problems at first. He was having memory problems, nightmares, and reverted back to his corrupted self. He started losing sleep as a result of the nightmares. It got to the point that Dani was worried he wouldn't be able to leave the hospital due to reverting back and forth so much.

But by some angelic miracle, he slowly stopped reverting between his two selves and was finally able to go home. By February, his nightmares had stopped, he was sleeping again, and while he had his moments, he wasn't trying to kill Dani or anyone else anymore.  

Sammy isn't sick or malnourished now that it's been several months and he is still very much buff under that hoodie. He did where a t-shirt for a while but got checked out by a lot of guys and gals so he took to wearing the loose hoodie.

He is trying to play and write music again with an app that Dani has since she can’t afford instruments and that keeps his mind off of things. He and Jack were thinking of becoming music teachers so they could get out of the house for a while. After all, being around each other will drive them up the wall far too often. Especially for Sammy when Wally is around him.

That said, he is still afraid of escalators and hates them with a burning passion.

Susie Campbell:

Susie isn’t doing the best. She still has nightmares about the things she did to the others in the studio and being trapped there all alone, stuck as that monster.

She was surprised when Dani approached her in the hospital and offered to let her stay along with the others since they were back to normal. At first, she was going to refuse but realized that she didn’t have a home or family so Susie agreed since she had nowhere else to go.

For a long while she was distant towards Dani, Alice Angel, and Allison but did talk to some others like Sammy, Thomas, and Shawn. Susie came around when she realized they really didn’t have anything to worry about anymore and is starting to want to do girl things with the few girls in the house.

But she is still prone to nightmares and doesn't get a lot of sleep very often. The toons still being afraid of her doesn't help. But Alice is starting to interact with her more each day and seeing this is easing Boris and Bendy's worry.

Norman Polk:

Norman has ringing in his ears but he can still talk, see, and hear. The ringing just makes him a little hard of hearing. His eyes are very sensitive to bright lights though so they try to keep things dim the best that they can. When outside, he wears sunglasses.

Surprisingly, he didn’t gain too many problems. But he is fairly strong now and has a phantom pain in his neck. Like the others, he also suffered from nightmares and lack of sleep for a long time before they started ceasing to exist after moving in with Dani.

He, like everyone else, really misses his family but knows he can keep the younger crew members safe since he couldn’t be there for his own kids.

There are times where he’ll think he is still in the studio. He won’t attack the others but will wander around the apartment silently and stare at others with a blank expression. But he hasn’t tried to hurt them yet. He does snap out of it on his own just fine and thinks he blacked out. He'll even pick someone up and carry them around too like he did with a plushie or a projector.

He decided to just retire.

Family: Wife and a few kids. A teenage daughter and two younger boys.

Thomas Conner:

Thomas had nightmares for a while but was otherwise fine. Only thing that still happens is that he’ll randomly gain a phantom pain throughout his left arm and will have to look to make sure he still had his limb. And that it wasn’t part of an old animatronic like before.

He was fine with being home with the others for a while but since they needed money and he was in much better shape than some of the others, he decided to start working again along with Lacie.

Job: Does repairs with Lacie throughout the city at homes and has recently been starting to work at businesses too.

Height: Close to 6 ft

Age: 38 Years Old

Shawn Flynn:

Since nothing was wrong with Shawn, other than the usual nightmares from time to time, he is one of the people that gets to enjoy the 21st century without any issues holding him back.

He and Wally are both like older brothers to Dani and the three of them would always play video games or look at memes, which is still something they are learning about. But he does get annoyed at how Wally thinks he and this one Youtuber sound alike. Which they DON'T! (They totally do. Hehe)

When he isn’t doing things with them, he is watching DIY videos. Mainly ones involving making plushies. He actually took it up as a hobby and makes plushies for his roommates. When there gets to be too many he donates the rest to a children’s hospital.

Job: Makes plushies to keep himself busy and plans on selling them for some extra money. He really enjoys DIY videos.

Height: 5'6

Age: 26 years old

Grant Cohen:

Even in the 21st century, Grant is still a classy gentleman that likes to wear nice dress shirts, pants, shoes, and belts.

He had nightmares from time to time from when Joey ‘killed’ him and what went on afterwards in the studio. But doesn’t have any medical problems overall. The worst as how malnourished he was but over the several months he gained that weight back and is now doing great.

Since he doesn’t have any problems, he also started working again for some extra money. It took a while, but he finally got a job.

Job: Working as an accountant again.

Jack Fain:

Jack was a classy gentleman back in the day. He was also a ladies man in his younger years before he got married and had two daughters. Now that they have long since passed on, he has taken to seeing Dani as a daughter.

Luckily he was a passive Searcher in the studio so he only suffered from nightmares. Otherwise, he was pretty alright. He ended up being one of the first to go home with Dani. Since he was fine, he helped her figure out where everyone could stay and get things situated.

He really enjoyed playing with music apps on her Ipad since they had no instruments. She also gave him her Ipod so he could listen to some musicals she had on it. Hamilton is his favorite at the moment.

Now he and Sammy might become music teachers. They haven't decided if they wanted to work at a school or start their own business somewhere.

Family: Two daughters and a wife. Oldest is Cadence and youngest is Melody. Cadence was a teen when he was ‘killed’ and Melody was 10 years old.

Lacie Benton:

Lacie came home not too long after Jack did. She had her share of nightmares too but nothing too bad. Dani took her to the mall but she chose to get into gardening since she wasn't much of a shopper and used to be a farm girl before getting into mechanics and stuff at the studio.

Dani let her plant some stuff in their front and backyards since it gave her something to do and seemed to help her lose her nightmares very quickly.

She is still planting stuff and even has a garden of flowers and vegetables but when Thomas said he was ready to start working again, she decided to join him. Now they work together and own a little repair business.

Job: Repairman with Thomas

Allison Pendle:

Nightmares and malnutrition was all this gal had. After going home and settling in, she went to the mall with Dani and fell in love with all the modern clothes (especially the scarves and cute headbands or hair clips)

So Allison is a polar opposite compared to Lacie. She loves to shop and go to the mall and do girl things like mani pedis. Lacie gags whenever she hears the shortened versions of manicures and pedicures.

It took a while, but her and Alice are trying to befriend Susie and help her see that they hold nothing against her. Months later, Susie is starting to come around but not a lot at the moment. Allison is fine with this, one step at a time works for her.

A hobby that she picked up is writing. And no not fanfics. Just original short stories about anything she can think of.

THE TOONS:

Toon!Bendy:

Bendy was nervous and very skittish for a while. But he eventually started to become his mischievous, happy little self again. He is still skittish at times though. Especially when Susie came home. He was afraid he'll end up in a cage and get tortured again so he was practically in Dani's arms or lap at all times. He and Boris are starting to trust her now though.

He’s having a blast playing games on Dani’s tablet and watching current cartoons to see how different they are from his. But they have to be careful and watch that he doesn’t order something on Amazon as a joke. Especially if it’s 22 of the same thing and 7 of another. (It has happened before and now Dani doesn’t have her debit card on her profile anymore, But that doesn’t mean he doesn’t know where to find it.)

Unfortunately, he can’t leave the apartment or yard due to people asking questions. If someone does see him, they get told he’s a cat and as such, he has to pretend to be one. He’s partially okay with it because he likes playing pretend but it does get annoying after a while.

He also hates not being able to see the world all that much. Dani will take him to the park to play on the playground but that’s mostly it.

Bendy is happy Sammy and Jack are there. He really missed hearing their music. And Jack really helped him calm down after Susie arrived.

Height: He is the size of a toddler. Allowing him to be picked up fairly easily.

Boris the Wolf:

Boris was very nervous and scared when Susie came and hid inside of Dani's room with Bendy until they realized they were alright now and started to come around. They don't trust her completely though. Not yet anyway.

Once he settles in, he picks up his old habit of eating a lot. The others don’t want to but they stop him from time to time due to needing to feed themselves.

Boris is enjoying watching movies and playing video games. Even playing on some music apps on Dani’s tablet. He is usually resting his head on her lap, head, or shoulders and enjoys being petted.

Alice Angel:

She was excited when Allison was finally joining them and was worried about Susie when she did. She was a tad nervous when Susie first joined and spent a lot of time comforting her toon brothers. But with Allison's help, they were able to get Susie to start coming around and be herself again. Slowly.

It did hurt when Susie became very distant around her but has been trying to convince Susie that nothing was her fault and that it was all Joey’s.

She mainly hangs around the girls and is still singing and dancing.

DEAD CREW:

Guardian Angel!Henry:

In this world, angels and demons can come back looking like how they did when they died. And even talk and interact with the living.

However, Henry can make himself invisible and visible. And as such, the crew can’t see him but he’s around watching over them as they adjust to life in 2018. And helping out with money problems and stuff when he needs to.

He, Bertrum, and Joey can communicate with each other though. Needless to say, he isn’t at all happy with him and what he did.

After spending time in Heaven with the other employees, he said goodbye to his wife, Linda, and decided to come back to Earth to watch over the few that survived. He’s enjoying learning about the present day world alongside everyone else. While keeping a eye on them.

But he knew that one day Joey would come back out of Hell, vengeful as ever and as a demon. He and Bertrum would be ready though. They weren't going to let Joey hurt any of them ever again.

Job: Protecting the living crew as an angel.

Height: 5'6

Age: Henry died at 57 years old in the studio.

Family: Had a wife named Linda. And several rescue dogs.

Angel!Bertrum Piedmont:

At the end of the fic, Henry comes to him with a proposition. If he didn't have any one waiting for him in Heaven, then maybe he could become angels with him and stay back on Earth to protect the living crew.

In the end. Bertrum did this to pay Dani back for helping set them free and since he too knew that Joey would be back one day. And with so many people, Henry would need help protecting them all.

That said, he is still pretty uptight and egotistical. But doesn't have as big of a ego that he did when he was alive.

He and Henry would sometimes appear to the crew after they wake up from a nightmare or to just say hi. But they don't do it too often. They like being invisible and just talking to each other. Which the living crew can't hear unless they are visible to them too.

At one point, he did visit Dani when she was alone and ask about going to an amusement park one day so he- er- they could see how much rides have changed. Cedar Point is a few hours away but they might try and save up so they could go to Disney World instead. That way they all could see it. It's just a matter of how they could bring the toons with them. Even if they have to stay in the hotel.

Job: Same as Henry.

Age: Died at 66 Years Old(Oldest of the dead crew)

Demon!Joey:

Just like Henry and Bertrum, he too can make himself invisible and visible.

While in Hell and getting tortured into becoming a demon, he decided that no matter what happened to him, he would try and make things right. 

But he didn’t expect Henry and Bertrum to be there too. And he understood why they didn’t trust him or want him to reveal himself to the living crew. It really doesn't help when he lashes out at the living crew in pure jealousy. They don’t know what is going on exactly but know that Bertrum and Henry are there to take care of it. 

That said, he refuses to hurt kids and animals. And will constantly hold himself back from doing any real harm. 

He knows he may never be truly forgiven. But he is happy to see some of his employees got another chance and that the girl isn’t dead after all.
