most frustrating thing about instacart from my pov as a grocery store employee is how the mindset of someone not being at work if theyre a shopper (lessens the expectations of workplace protections, part and parcel for the way these contractor companies fuck labor up) has these people coming thru, not communicating properly, not knowing how to do their jobs, causing issues for us working within the store, and acting like entitled customers when they’re our fucking coworkers at that point

i’ve submitted well over 50 job applications this summer. tell me why the one (1) position i’ve made the most progress toward is one i didn’t even apply for???* and THEN. yesterday. one of my preceptors from the internship i just finished emailed me out of the blue like Hey i'm gonna have an open position at my private practice soon, are you interested?** girl what the fuck is going on here***

so I got the Petsmart job but the one they gave me is part time......which means I dont qualify for benefits! like. theres always a catch here. but its walking distance away so I dont have to spend money on transportation but I think they're offering 15.. which is like eh, this is what I was paid FOR A MANAGERIAL position at rite aid so like ill take it and I can transition to pet grooming which gets tips and half the bill and hourly wage so. but I also applied to Whole Foods overnight stocking id have to take a train for that but its full time.
