It's a while since she's seen or heard from Patrick, but when the days get extra dull her mind wanders to that night at the motel and his match, and how she felt alive

She Googles him or something, finds out he's going to play a match in the city over or something. She's bored, she wants to feel something, and yeah... she misses him. Maybe she brings him his own hello kitty robe as a funny gift after she drops by to see him play again. He's all surprised to see her there, but also greatful he got to talk to her again. Maybe if he won that match, he tries paying her back for her kindness by taking her out on a super fancy dinner (date? Is it actually one?) (It's actually not that fancy because he does need to save money for future meals and places to sleep until the next match, but its the thought that counts). Maybe they don't even kiss then, because they're kinda in this will they won't they limbo that they kinda don't want to break just yet. The tension and longing is fun to them. It gives reader something to think about when work numbs her brain and something to fuel Patrick's matches.
