I don't think enough people stop to consider the implications of the Brown Note.

Imagine if you had the power to make a large group a peopleshit themselves. I'm talking about instant crowd dispersal.

What's the ratio of toilets to people in an office building? A conference hall? You play the Brown Note over the intercom, it's not going to be good.

Imagine an indoor concert. 50 to 100 thousand people in an enclosed space with loud speakers. Lock the doors, stop the music, turn on the Brown Note, all hell breaks loose. I'm talking at least 75% mortality rate, maybe more.

The mysterious film in season 4 of The Monument Mythos reminds me of Infinite Jest.

While its explicit purpose remains unclear, the latest video (Alcatraz, Always) has offered us some pointers and implications.

Perhaps even a final answer of sorts, but to me there are still too many variables at play to say for sure.

It seems to have also been utilised by the government as a form of possible hypnosis or sleeper agent program, maybe implanting ideas or info hazards? Idk. Hard to say depending on the reactions it provokes (everything from discomfort to nausea to DEATH!).

The reactions to the film with the spinning wheel in question point to it being some kind of a brown note.

The film in question reminds me of the titular film in Infinite Jest. As I said earlier.

Unexpectedly.

The titular film in the story is said to be so compelling that viewers become OBSESSED and lose all interests in anything other than watching it again and again and again until they eventually die.

It’s most likely a coincidence but I can’t say for sure.
