A fun night with friends gets tense as Jack x Reader fight and make up 😈 👶🏼

It seems like with a new baby all you had done for weeks is breastfeed and sleep. Jack took time off but was busy with diaper changes and doing extra work around the house. Jack didn’t want any nannies. He stayed up at night with daughter Ella who insisted on waking up at 3AM to be entertained.

Both of you had been so consumed with baby Ella you were completely off the grid. Neither of you knew what day it was. Jack decided to have the guys over for a games night. That way he could have some fun and still be with you and Ella.

“Can you get that babe? I’m just changing Ella” Jack called out to you as you were making your famous appetizers and putting out chips and beer for the guys.

You opened the door to 10 guys looking at you with huge smiles. They were being all quiet to not disturb little Ella. One by one they creeped in silently and hugged you.

“Guys she’s awake. This isn’t a library you know.” You said as they got comfortable in the living room.

“Sweet cuz being quiet is too hard.” Cope said with a mouthful of chips already.

“Is my last name Harlow?” You shot back sassily. It was making you upset that Jack hadn’t asked you to marry him yet and people kept asking why. It was always in the back of your mind and came out in this unexpected way.

“No but Ella’s is.” Jack countered cooly. This made you start to cry and Ella broke off your nipple crying too.

“Not Ok Jack!” You said as you patted her tiny back.

“I’m sorry that was uncalled for.” He apologized. You both were under the stress of being new parents and new famous parents at that. It was a logistical nightmare to leave the condo to even take Ella and the puppy for a walk. Jack was used to moving around his hometown freely, but now needed to worry about being photographed constantly.

“But it’s how you feel let’s face it!” You said standing up and heading to the room with Ella. “You’re right we’ll go.”

Something inside of Jack panicked at you saying the words “we’ll go.” He didn’t ever want that to happen. “I’ll hold ladybug” Jack said reaching for his daughter.

“She’s hungry and would like to just eat in peace.” You said in a huff and walked towards the bedroom.

“That’s actually crazy because I wanna eat in peace too.” Kentucky Boy Tyler commented with his mouth full of popcorn.

“For the record y/n, we kinda came over to hang with you too.” Sunni said “And our niece.”

You stopped in your tracks. You weren’t aware how uncomfortable they were getting seeing you and Jack fight. “You…you did?” You said wiping your tears with the baby blanket.

“Yeah we can handle a bit a boob not like we never seen them before.” Phil said. Jack shot him a look. “I mean not your boobs which they’re great, I mean nothing wrong with seeing your boobs.”

Everyone went back to the game. They weren’t going to let an argument ruin their night. Once in the room Jack took Ella and put her in her bassinet. You were still standing there glaring at him. He backed you into a wall and started kissing you. All the fatigue and tension you were feeling responded immediately pulling his head of curls in and your tongues locked. You craved his touch. It had been a few weeks since you looked into each other’s eyes. Jack started lifting up your shirt and feeling on your butt. “Can we fuck yet? Is it 6 weeks?” He said passionately.

“It’s past 6 weeks we just been so tired.” You said breathing heavy. Ella had fallen asleep with a belly full of milk. Seeing she was ok Jack started sucking on one of your breasts. If you don’t mind me asking, what aspects or house overlays would cause a big ass miscommunication? Like I knew a guy who at some point just stopped talking to me. We worked together so it was awkward. We went from basically talking to each a lot every shift we had together to nothing. Bare minimum chatter. Turns out we just thought each other was mad at each other or something like “oh I guess they aren’t talking to me anymore guess I’ll just deal with these intense emotions by myself while talking to someone else to fill the time…tho it doesn’t feel the same.” At least on my end. Sorry for the long ass example bruh 🫠

This kind of sounds like a situation where people have trouble harmonically expressing their moon and their mercury, but we’ll see…

Aspects and house overlays that cause miscommunication, from the top of my head:

Mercury conjunct south node synastry:

Every conjunction with a node is felt on a spiritual level. This one came to mind because of a relationship I once had. These people feel ~happy~ talking to each other. The mercury person, on a soul level, desires to sort of do a service of intellectual rapporting to the south node person, being their team mate in life. The south node person feels like no one understands them as well as the mercury person does. How it can also play out, though, is the south node person (always a risk with the south node) not binding themselves enough to the planet person, due to their personal growth from the south node towards the north node purpose. When this happens, mercury in this case will feel drained since their efforts are trying to fuel something the node person is already living beyond so to speak. They feel like the north node is unreceptive and condescending to their ideaa, so the node person drifting away from their south node becomes in regards to communication ‘unavaillable’ to mercury. This makes the mercury person feel rejected, often rejected ‘in advance’ which in concern to stuff that makes the node person actually need-need the mercury’s input, like for example the relationship, will make the mercury person go ‘you know what, I’ll just let her figure out herself’ because the node is too much on her own path. In my case, it created a sense of “oh, this is such a one sided affair from my side. I’m trying to nurture this soullevel important part of her by doing this, and she’s just going her own way and not binding to it, and therefore me” because To the mercury person it looks like she’s just mentally not there and drifting away from the intellectual/communicative connection.

So that became a paragraph lol. But I felt like I should share it

Partains more to feelings of the one not being understood by the logic the other and vice versa.

saturn in composite:

Saturn is known in some astrological circles as the thing that creates ‘lack’, but it’s not because saturn is some minus force. How I see saturn is basically this: saturn is the very strong and mighty and imposing planet that is also very cautionary and stoic and restricted. Where it falls, it forms a ‘challenge’ and the challenge is always this: make sure that where saturn falls, you make a reliable enough base with just enough trust and understanding, that even a planet like saturn Could let go of the reins and unleash their heaviness on that part. Once saturn is set, like a big fk stone, you can’t move it anymore. It’s binding. I think that’s why people are so careful with it, because saturn can also bind us to everything that’s uncomfortable or bad. People don’t like to do that usually. Mercury and uranus, composite and synastry:

What the other person interprets the ‘zeitgeist’ of life to be, but also their sense of creativity in their way of life, doesn’t mesh well with the logic of the other person.

Saturn in synastry:

When concerning moon and mercury, it can make the personal planet person think saturn doesn’t want to hear their thoughts and will judge them. The saturn person though is the person who wants to talk/communicate, but feel restricted and inhibited by her own force. They’re both too careful. Mercury in hard aspect to saturn causes more frustration than awkwardness like with saturn in aspect to moon, though.

Natal charts:

I think both of you may have some lunar/saturnian aspects in the chart… a combination of easily triggered and immediately shutting down. Chiron may also have something to do with it !

Jen Tortures Herself With Every Dreamworks Animated Movie Ever: Prince of Egypt

Papa Bless (literally) its time for me to talk about one of my favorite animated movies, nay, one of my favorite MOVIES ever made. Prince of Egypt is a work of art. Hands down, it is one of the most incredible movies I have ever seen. I'm not even religious (I did grow up Christian and am now a Filthy Heathen but that's beside the point). The real point is that this movie is one that I think can be enjoyed by anyone reguardless of religion. At its core, they took a simple biblical story and turned it into something with raw passion and emotion and art. And I simply adore it.

Every time I watch this movie, its such an experience for me. I always fall in love with new things, from the fantastic character designs, to the insanely lovely animation to the beautiful songs and score to the way the story is told and the emotions the characters go through with it. Everything in this movie feels huge, weighty, and important. It's very respectful to its source material while making changes that make it work better as a film, particularly the brotherly dynamic between Moses and Rameses that adds a whole new layer of drama onto the story.

As for that story, we all know the Exodus story by now so I'll spare you on that and discuss the things the movie does on its own. That dynamic between Moses and Rameses is at the heart of the movie and it really is just a devestating tragedy to watch them break apart and become enemies because of the huge responsibilities thrust onto both of their shoulders. The fact that tragedy ends on such a heartcrushing note too its just... god. (literally god, get it? cause this is all his fault lol jk ok)

Moses is fantastically written, a great main character to follow who has compelling drama, at first about his true identity and how he struggles to comes to terms with it and then grappling with having to oppose Rameses to set the Hebrews free. Rameses himself may just be one of Dreamworks best villains, you really do feel bad for him but you also know he's bringing so much of this suffering on himself because of his own stubborn pride. The rest of the cast is also fantastic, Tzipporah is lovely and really fun, Miriam is an absolute sweetheart, Aaron is a sassy little loser but I love how he comes around in the end, and well, God is God (the burning bush scene tho, can we talk about that? fucking INSANE)

The MUSIC man, each song is SO damn good its hard for me to even pick a favorite. Deliver Us is such a strong opening, a wonderful way to set the stage that makes the stakes feel high right from the start. All I Ever Wanted is a great way to show the life Moses always knew cracking from the inside out. Through Heaven's Eyes is just a bop with a lovely message about change and growth. Playing with the Big Boys is delightfully sinister and the Plagues, oh GOD THE PLAGUES???? INSANE MAN SO DRAMATIC AND INTENSE AND THE IMAGERY IS JUST??!?!?! BRUH! When You Believe might be my favorite though, it starts out somber but grows into this hopeful triumph of excitement and relief and its absolutely beautiful.

This movie is so beautiful to look at too! The composition of some of these shots, the storyboarding, the facial expressions, the set pieces, the movement of the animation, its all so expertly crafted, so entrancing to watch every second of it. Like I said at the start, this movie truly is an utter work of art in every sence of the word.

I've been gushing about this movie for long enough I think, but I can't help it! It's honestly that good! And its so hard to believe that it came hot off the heels of a trash heap like Antz. Like bruh how were they cooking that shit and the godsend that is Prince of Egypt at the same time??? Insane, utterly insane. This studio is ridiculous.

Anyway, Prince of Egypt is the GOAT and I will fight you if you disagree.

• as you were only working on David’s yard, you started to get quite bored of the same tasks and asked you boss to place you in some other locations

• not only were you bored, but David was giving off a non professional vibe lately, and you thought it would be good to space out how much you see him in a week, but you didn’t bring that up with your boss

• As you started working in other locations, David quickly noticed your absence

• “hey y/n! Working hard as ever I see… I’ve noticed that you come by as much as you did, is there a reason?”

• “o-oh, yeah I asked my boss for some more work. Y’know me, I like to stay on my feet”

• it took all of David’s power to not crush the glass of water in his hand

• “ ah I see, well good for you! Anyways I gotta head inside, to hurt yourself!”

• as he turned around and started walking in the direction of his home, his smile quickly turned into a scowl, and looked rightfully pissed

• ‘is she pushing me away?, did I do something to upset her? (Yes)

• ‘no, maybe she just needs money, so she’s picking up more shifts, right?’ (Bruh)

• no matter what excuse he came up with, he chose to follow you to your other work locations

• gotta make sure these people aren’t creeps, of course

• and my god, he did not like what he saw

• I mean these people weren’t even doing anything weird or bad. They welcomed you, shook your hand and gave you a tour of their garden.

• but David is an unwell man.

• all he see’s is perverts trying to get close to you

• it had been a few days since you took up more work

• and only after a few days did you start getting “gifts” at the front door of your home

• these gifts were usually bouquets that would look a lot like the the flowers some of your costumers grew

• and when you went to work your suspicion was confirmed

• “ I think some kids got into my yard and stole my flowers!”

• you’d like to believe that, you really would. But you knew it wasn’t, and it made you feel sick

• of course you didn’t tell the costumers “lol I have a stalker,don’t mind them!”

• so you agreed with whatever they said, and replaced the stolen flowers with brand new ones

• but every week there would be a new bouquet at your door, and another person upset that someone ruined their garden

• there were notes with the bouquets too

• notes that would call you “flower” and say how pretty you were

• there was one note that said how beautiful you looked while you slept, and that one really freaked you out

• every night you made sure to lock all windows and doors, you even bought extra thick curtains so no on could peep in

• as the weeks went by, almost all of your costumers gardens were ruined

• one of the few gardens that seemed to be never touched was David’s

• you didn’t have any proof, but you didn’t feel comfortable around him anymore

• I mean he did try to gift you a necklace and wanted to eat launch with you everyday, and the flowers at your door only started when you started to work in other locations other than David’s

• at this point, you figured it was the best idea to report David to your boss, and just stop working for him all together

TERESA IS NOT THAT BAD. in the movie they make her “betray” that she make herself. In the book WICKED told her to act to betray Thomas. And Teresa always treated so baddd. I actually felt bad for her. AND HER DEATH WAS SO UNNECESSARY BRUH. Why can’t she live? HELLO JAMES DASHNER ANSWER 

The female lead role actually Brenda. Bcs in the book, Thomas always stick up with Brenda most of the time bruh.

“WICKED IS GOOD” this is actually hard to explain. Well, yes there’s the “good” in the end. YES LITERALLY JUST IN THE END. And the one who make it good is  Chancellor Ava Paige which is the leader of the WICKED. Yes the leader turn against the WICKED itself. Anyway, Back to the “good WICKED”, Ava Paige know that at the end they still can’t find the cure (this is my thought) and she finally realized that this last of the immunes have to be protected not to be the mouse lab again, because there are not much left. So she makes the immunes to free and life safely in the paradise.

Minho actually an ass hole. Lol no offense, but he really REALLY CANT SHUT HIS BLOODY MOUTH. yeah sometimes I just get pissed off what he said. But I still love him <3

In the book the never found the cure. Even they almost, but never full make the cure. And we never know if Thomas’s brain can really make the cure work.

I think Brenda and Jorge know about something. And I think they being told from Ava Paige to make Thomas escaped first. BUT WAIT IF my theory true, but Teresa group came first to in Denver. 🫥🫠 

In the book Teresa Thomas and Aris can speak in their mind, yes telepathic. In the maze runner (first book) Thomas only can telepathy with Teresa. In scorch trials (2nd books) Thomas found out the three of them can do that.

people really seem to think that because i find shipping him with aloy inappropriate, and you guys greasy for doing it, that i must hate him. i don't. he's charming, with a way about him that's hard to ignore (himbo energy). he tries his best to be there for the people he cares about and loves super hard. he's great at public speaking and rallying people to his cause, whatever that may be in the moment. he's incredibly loyal to his job even if that means bending avad's requests to fit what he deems most important in the moment. plus avad respects him so much that he doesn't care!! and his underlings on the vanguard will NOT let go of the crush he had in hzd, to his humiliation as we see the confrontation with aloy followed by his drunkenness at barren light. he has good taste in music, the soul of a metalhead, and a heart of gold. he lost his sister as aloy came into his life, and there's every context clue to show that this crush fizzled out as he came to respect aloy more as an equal. he said something along the lines of "i thought i was a bigshot talking to a pretty girl from a tiny tribe... now i see i was lucky just to get a minute of your time" and the ereloys takes this as some proclamation of love when to me and many others it comes off as a transition within their relationship towards mutual respect and appreciation.

this is the kind of discourse we get when fanon becomes more important to people than what's literally written into the story. i love erend! yeah i am a little irritated that people started popping their horussies out for their favorite (hetero) ship after we got a canon (GAY) romance in the game. if you guys had any critical thinking skills/media literacy, you'd have gotten the point by now that even if aloy isn't a lesbian, she's never going to end up with your favorite male character. you'd also understand why the gayshippers are irritated with you guys doing this in the wake of homophobic review bombing. because now we know aloy is capable of romantic feelings and no one but seyka has brought that side out of her so far. you can call it bad writing all you want, it's my opinion vs yours. doesn't change the direction the series is going in terms of aloy's romantic future.

my friend/ex was really upset yesterday. his body is all messed up from various injuries, he needs dental work. i told him to call out of work bc he wasn’t going to get any sleep before his shift

he moved near his hometown with some planning but not a lot. he wants to go to school. but he won’t have in-state tuition since he was living in my state prior to moving. he works really hard at work but it’s physical labor and it only makes his health issues worse. he also doesn’t want to move up to a less labor-intensive position :/ he honestly needs to take medical leave

and he’s upset with my brother for various reasons, but last night he was drinking and it all came out and he messaged my brother and my mother about how upset he was about my brother breaking something of mine and not paying in full to replace it. he’s struggling with money on his own and he resents my brother for having a cushy job that he complains about and flouts authority on. in many ways my brother IS entitled and probably WOULD benefit from being punched in the face at least once for his shitty political views, especially bc my ex is genderqueer. but he has definitely not spoken frankly about it with my brother

speaking of which, now he’s in a less accepting place and tho he “toned down the queer” he still gets looks from ppl and it’s stressing him out a lot. he worries about going thru backroads in case his car breaks down and someone kills him

all his friends from back home are druggies or complete deadbeats or both and he’s had a falling out with everyone since he moved. he’s also worried one of his older friends won’t live beyond this year. so now all the friends he does rely on are in my area and not his and he’s very lonely and isolated. and that also means i’m his best friend rn, which he’s told me several times

a week or so ago he wanted to make a risky and illegal change in career and after i told him i wouldn’t have been friends with him anymore if he decided to do it, he told me he still wants to fuck me. when i told him i can’t be casual with him anymore so don’t say that, he said he didn’t say it properly and that he meant he wants to be with me, eventually. and it’s just a whole fucking thing. he can’t even articulate what he wants. i told him not to mention it again unless he was sure and confident he could actually be a good partner to me. and i told him i need time to get over him too

and last night, we were chatting and i realized he’d been drinking, and he’s in a negative spiral/combative. he messaged my family. i told him he should wait til the morning and he did it anyway. at that point i said whatever. the call dragged on for hours tho he needed to sleep for work. he was in such a state i didn’t feel comfortable getting off the phone with him in case he did something very risky, like driving drunk or idk what else. he talked about wanting to lay down on some train tracks…

AND he called me again at work the other day. like. on the work phone. he used to work there but it’s just… not professional. feels weird. esp bc he was doing it cuz he was drunk. told him to text or call my phone next time

he gets drunk and disregards boundaries. bc he also mentioned the dating thing last night while we were talking. and when i told him not to he sidestepped and kept going on about whatever rant. and he just argues abt everything when he’s drunk. in the end he called out of work, then talked to his sister and i guess she convinced him to drive up instead of doing something dumber. i asked if he was sober enough and he said yeah. which he would’ve said no matter what i’m sure :|

ATLA spoilers/Azula stuff. Kinda big mad now, why does this fandom suck so hard.

I posted something in the ATLA fandom for the first time and was super excited about participating. Then I was immediately grossed out by how much ship hate and toxic discourse there is oml.

The ship wars surrounding Zutara are bad enough, especially when I ship all the things. But on top of that, apparently if you think Azula can be redeemed (not in the sense of being forgiven, but more like coming to terms w her past actions and sorting out her very, very obvious baggage), or are even ambivalent to the idea, you're a fascist sympathizer?!

I don't even care what happens to Azula. but some people really gotta chill with the attacks and tbh, totally reductive takes?

For starters, Azula was literally groomed to become a child soldier by her father. It doesn't excuse her actions at all, but there are so many signs in the show to explain why she is like she is, and why her finding some kind of closure wouldn't be out of the blue. The whole point of her and Zuko's backstories were to show how things came to be how they were. The writers and animators didn't put that stuff there for no reason.

That look on her face when Ty Lee was speaking during the campfire scene, for example? She was obviously sympathetic to Ty Lee, but as soon as Ty Lee looked at her, she snubbed her! She wanted to care, but she didn't want to show it. World's most obvious 'tough guy' act, and how much do we wanna bet it was because her father didn't let her show weakness, and she was just more receptive to indulging it than Zuko was, for whatever psychological reasons? She came off like she was hard-wired for self-interest, which probably predisposed her to all of Ozai's bs. But I also see people calling Azula a psychopath, and I'm like bruh, did we watch the same show?! A psychopath would feel no emotions about hurting people, Azula clearly does feel stuff, even if she takes pride in her war-related work, which does involve hurting/killing people. She's not a psychopath by definition, plain and simple, calling her that is reductive af.

I don't even think 'psychopath' is the right term to use in general for people like that, so there lol. Credibility points -1.

Then she apologized to Ty Lee during the party. Her apology could've just been a way to keep Ty Lee on her side, but then she went a step further and openly admitted to being jealous of Ty Lee. What purpose did that serve in the initial apology? None! She just did it because reasons, it had no functional or tactical purpose. Her interactions with all the party people screamed that she wanted relationships, too, but she didn't know how to communicate, and it obviously bugged her. She was upset about it.

She's shown she cares for Zuko at many different times, for example, she finds out he's been visiting Iroh, but she doesn't tell anyone even though she should. She's 'looking out for him'.

She also had a total breakdown at the end of the show. Again does it excuse her actions? Nah fam, not at all. But her emotional turmoil was super obvious. She'd built up an identity around being strong and winning at all costs, and she lost it, and she never got closure with her mom, so she didn't have anything left and she just.. cried. That doesn't sound irredeemable to me, that sounds like a scared fucking person who is wondering why the f everything they're doing, which they've been told to do from day one, is falling apart.

She's a 14-y/o child soldier, and I'm not about to say child soldiers are all irredeemable (again in the context of finding self acceptance and closure) in spite of the horrors they've done and the brainwashing. She's also a product of her environment and her abusive father, of generational trauma, and I'm not about to say people who grew up in abusive households can never get better from all the harm that was done to em! I've seen some really shitty people totally turn over a new leaf.

So I'm not buying the narrative that Azula is pure distilled evil and has nothing going for her, not with what the show has given us. Ozai had virtually no redeeming qualities, but there are so many hints with Azula that it really pisses me off to see so much garbo talk around her.

I really don't wanna go near this fandom. I don't know what the tags are for discourse/harassment free stuff, where people can just ship what they want, and want what they want, without being heckled or shit on. If anyone knows a tag or some blogs like that, hmu.

I AM HERE to give a fic review nobody asked for but i have no one else to talk about it

I have finished CWM couple hours ago and i've been obsessing over it ever since. Firstly would like to point out that cwm was already in my reading list and when i decided to start reading it after sending you that first ask i kept asking myself "why didn't i read it sooner?" cause i do have a severe case of love square brainrot and i have an unresolved passion with ice skating so why haven't i read that indeed.

Then I got the scene in which Adrien's ed is revealed and it was a big OH THAT'S WHY moment for me. I have been recovering from an ed myself for years and i try to avoid the topic because i dont think i'm there yet yk? ANYWAYS. That did make my reading take a little longer than planned, out of caution really, but nothing i couldn't handle (my therapist will be very proud). On that note, I would like to apologize for needing to skip some of the more in-depth ed related parts, but to also congratulate you on the way you handled the subject. I don't usually feel safe reading these type of stories, but cwm was an exception due to your writing and story telling skills.

It really is amazing how well you are able to sell rivals to lovers narrative. dymdc and cwm both had me invested in their rivalry. It didn't feel forced, the progression of the relationship had incredible pacing and the reasons behind were believable. Like, writing this trope is so hard because it's easy to fall in traps of the narrative – not making the rivalry strong enough or making it too strong and having to bullshit a reason to end it – but you do it SO WELL. LIKE. i actually don't have words, I keysmashed three times over this so yeah i guess that's what i have to say.

Something I would also like to point out: the choice of performances. bruh. You matched the characters vibes to the choreographies so well. Like I know nothing about the fem skater from the 2010 phantom of the opera but I can see Lila so clearly in her expressions that makes me want to punch her in the face. The way the snake dance has Kagami's seriousness and precision and Luka's edge and style. *chefs kiss*

Now on the note of Moulin Rouge for Adrienette, i feel like keysmashing is not enough i need to bark. The way the story of the performance is a parallel to their relationship AND andrien's condition. Part of me thought he was going to die. I lost cound how many times I cried while reading this and I wish I could have recorded the way i GASPED when they came in twelfth. Had me shaking and tearing up ngl.

The one thing i did not understand tho was why Marinette kept that Gabriel remade their costumes a secret. Like I get Adrien making his piece with the relationship with his bio father, and deciding not to pursue one with him anymore, but Marinette not telling him felt a little shady for me. Maybe I missed something, but I don't think that shutting that door was up to her. I like the ending for Gabriel and Adrien, but idk maybe i just don't like that Marinette kept it a secret from him.

Alright I think I've said enough for one ask holy shit look at the size of this so i'm gonna stop it here. I think I said everything I wanted to say, but if I remember anything else – and I'm still welcome in here –i'll come back to dump more unrequited opinions.

There were so many hilarious and adorable and wonderful small little moments in there, and because I'm me, I'm gonna overanalyze every single one. You're welcome. XD

Okay we're gonna do this in groupings instead of in order of events, and we're gonna break them up with gifs, because this is what happens when I let it play for too long without stopping (maybe I should still be watching this show on Hulu--the ad breaks ensure I do my reactions in a timely manner XD), but it was just SO GOOD, OKAY?!

Lydia and Malia:

Okay for starters, why does Malia have chemistry with LITERALLY EVERYONE?! Like...what? Is that the work of the actress? The director?? The whole cast and crew??? I don't even know, but bruh, I ship her with EVERYONE. Stiles, Kira, and now Lydia (Scalia will come I'm sure--we just haven't gotten a lot of moments with just the two of them yet lol)--I mean, DUDE. Literally when she was leaning over Lydia's shoulder, even though she was hovering, I was watching and I was like "can they kiss?" XD XD

I swear, Malia is secretly in love with everyone in the pack, and I seriously get the feeling that everyone in the pack is just a LITTLE bit in love with her.

ANYWAYS.

I loved those little moments between her and Lydia. The care and affection, but also the clear sass between the two of them was so great, but I also feel so bad for Lydia. Like, I appreciate that, as pushy as Malia is being, she's still trying to be helpful and supportive as much as she can, and the way her face changes when Lydia gets upset about how hard it is for her to control her powers and turn it on and off...it was just really sweet and also kind of heartbreaking and I just appreciate that, given how busy everyone else is, Malia wasn't letting Lydia go through it alone, and was trying her best to be supportive and helpful even with her lack of social skills.

So yeah anyways I also ship Malydia now. XD <3

Scott and Derek and Liam:

OMG stop. All things considered, this scene was literally so sweet and wholesome.

Like, obviously the whole Derek making Liam mad thing was an oof, but it was planned, and everything that came out of it was so sweet.

The way that Scott literally so softly said "Liam" and Liam just, like, immediately calmed down, but never stopped glaring at Derek. And it's so funny, because his glare is so intense, but he's so smol, so it's literally like an angry puppy I can't. XD <3

The way that he said "Get to class, Liam" and Liam just shot that last little glare at Derek and then at Scott (because moody teen), but obliged. Scott is seriously such a parent/big brother to this kid in their Alpha-Beta relationship and I love it so much. <3

The way that Derek just smiled at Scott after Liam walked away with the "You're gonna be good at this" and Scott just looked at him flabbergasted, but couldn't help smiling.

The way that everything about Derek and Scott's interactions in this scene was just so soft, with Scott doubting himself and worrying about all of the problems they have to deal with while he's still trying to be a student, but Derek remaining supportive and helpful and loyal as ever I just...

Ahhhh that scene was so wholesome and adorable in so many ways. I loved it. <3 <3

Sciles and Everyone Else:

Oh come on now. You HAD to know that most of the post was gonna be dedicated to Sciles. When is it not? XD <3

Okay, just Sciles first, when Stiles figures out that the assassin is a lacrosse player.

First of all, we freaking love Stiles, and we love his relationship with Coach. "Stilinski, if I could grade you on how profoundly you disturb me, you'd be an A+ student." "...thanks Coach." XD XD

Second of all, the fact that my boy FIGURED IT OUT! Let's go!! I love you, bud! (Also the way he was just holding the stick and would not let go no matter how many times Coach tugged because he was putting the pieces together we love this man.)

Third of all, and here's the crux of the matter, the way that Scott is watching the whole interaction and IMMEDIATELY turns to Stiles expectantly, because he knows his best friend, and he knows that he's onto something, and they just immediately lock eyes as they process the gravity of what Stiles has discovered like...I just love them and their bond.

And then we move into the scene with Kira (also really random quick aside, the way it transitioned into the scene with Garrett and Violet after this with the "who knows what else they have" and then "wolfsbane" was just freaking awesome anyways).

I just love everything about the banter in this scene, with Scott's insistence that the game should go on so they can catch him in the act (bonus points for Scira with the "I'm not afraid." "Neither am I." and the little smiles they give each other <3) and Stiles's insistence that they should cancel the game and be f*cking terrified, because (I love my boy XD <3), "these are professional killers, it's their profession". XD XD

I just love the back and forth between the two of them, because even when they're disagreeing about the best way to approach something, they're still thinking together and planning together and having each other's backs and acknowledging each other's concerns, and it's what makes them such a good team.

And SPEAKING OF BEING SUCH A GOOD TEAM!

EVERYTHING WITH LIAM I CANNOT I LOVE THESE TWO AND THEIR CHILD! XD <3

The way that Scott is watching Liam so closely as he storms over to Brett.

The way that Scott whispers what, according to the subtitles, is an "oh shit" and then just grabs for Stiles and they both book it.

The way they go with their classic brains and brawn team-up with Scott pulling Liam away and Stiles being the distraction as the charismatic and hilarious little charmer that he is.

The way that Scott and Stiles just drag Liam to the locker room (Stiles's little "go" after they turn away from Brett and crew XD) and shove him against the shower together repeatedly until he finally calms down.

The way that Scott is the softer, chiller, concerned, supportive "you're not in trouble, just tell us what happened" parent while Stiles is the harder, harsher, annoyed, disciplining "I will ground you regardless" parent during this whole conversation, and their facial expressions match that perfectly.

The way that Stiles is still bantering with Scott and is unafraid to express his exasperation with this “I cannot believe what you got us into" at this whole situation while Scott is just metaphorically rolling his eyes with this "I'm working on it and you're not helping".

The way that Stiles backs off to let Scott make the final judgement call, but also nods his approval at said judgement call.

The way that Scott softens up even more at the "especially if you're there" and Stiles runs a hand down his face because he knows that means they're probably gonna let him play.

The way that Liam is already willing to out his friend, no preamble required, because he already trusts Sciles's judgement and analyses, and if his friend's a threat, he wants them to know.

The way that these three just have the best bonding and best dynamic I just...
