Yeah so when I get a dialogue prompt, I usually do whatever makes the most sense... honestly I kinda went back and forth with the Belphie one I posted recently. I was like MC could totally say this and it would be great, but it also seems like such a Belphie thing to say... lol!

I have not started the Diavolo prompt, but I was already thinking about it as something MC says, mostly because you mentioned that it's a line you were thinking of when listening to his song. So that sounded to me like MC was the one who would be saying it lol.

But even if I hadn't already been thinking of it that way, I'm happy to write it as such! Any time anyone makes a dialogue prompt request, they can certainly indicate who they are imagining would say it. Sometimes I can tell from context if they include other info in their prompt, but I don't mind if people wish to specify.

Anyway, thanks for letting me know & for submitting a prompt!

If Jack is Bruce, then maybe Maddie is...

So! In most stories where Jack Fenton is an alternate universe version of Bruce Wayne, they have Maddie as an Alternate Talia or Selena. But I propose a different path.

We already have another Red-Headed, Serious, good a fighting, can keep Bruce in check, person in Gotham that we can use.

Maddie Fenton, is a Genderswapped version of Commissioner Gordon.

She's a little younger than her alternate self, and much crazier, but otherwise she's pretty much identical to him. No Nonsense, Intelligent, Caring, Protective, and wanting to make the World/Gotham a better place for their Kid(s).

This of course means that Jazz is an alternate Barabara, and Danny is either an alternate Damien or an Alternate Cass (since Barbara and Cass have a sibling-type relationship)

I had a very odd dream where a train (or bus?) I was on got yanked into another world. While my dream had nothing to do with SVSSS, it did have my waking self thinking about how hilarious and/or horrifying such a thing could be as an AU.

Imagine Shen Yuan riding the subway, train or bus one day, when something happens and his whole car gets yanked into the world of PIDW. Nobody else in the car knows anything about PIDW, so Shen Yuan finds himself with the self imposed task of keeping this eccentric group of strangers alive in a weird world full of demons, monsters, and aphrodisiac plants.

The group’s first assumption would probably be that they’re still on modern earth, and just got teleported somewhere. Their second assumption, if they come across common folk, might be they somehow ended up in the past.

Then they run into some monster, or people riding on swords with specific uniforms, or a commoner mentions a name or event only Shen Yuan recognizes. The rest of the party debates what sort of Xianxia or Wuxia world they’ve ended up in, while poor Shen Yuan sweats bullets. He knows exactly what world they are in, and they are so screwed.

I have this image of poor beleaguered nerd Shen Yuan successfully protecting and leading this group of primary school kids, their cute teacher, and a handful of grannies and grandpas, while all the other adults and older teens keep wandering off and getting themselves in trouble.

Actually going insane over the implications of Jason asking Dick to be the Robin to his Batman in Battle for the Cowl.

Like I initially took it at the purely surface-level of Jason wanting a partner in the general sense. Which made sense, it's a huge responsibility and a lonely one so an assistant/sidekick/partner seems a no-brainer if you can get one.

But then I really thought about it, because Jason is not asking Dick to be his partner in the general sense; he's not even asking Dick to be his Nightwing. He's asking Dick to be his Robin.

And they both know exactly what Jason means: "Be the light to my darkness. Be the smile to my scowl. Be the hope to my fear. "

He's saying "Be 'Robin'; be the embodiment of Love and Justice and Goodness. Be the exceptional person that you have always been. Be the slightly-less exceptional person that I was when I wore your colors. Be the person that I was in the process of becoming and might have been (or might still be), if only Joker hadn't clipped my wings."
