Were you a general f1 fan before you became part of teamlh or have you always been just teamlh and don’t really care for f1?

STORY TIME! (I will try my very best to be brief)

So I got into F1 through my Dad growing up, and quality of Dad aside, my happiest memories of him are watching F1 races with him (he was a Schumi fan, so I was a Schumi fan. Dad even bought me a Ferrari barbie when I was little, and apparently I used to run around saying “vroom vroom Schumacher” as a kid. I have no recollection of this). My Dad died when I was 10 and I stopped watching F1 after that bc it was just too much for me at the time.

Cut to high school in 2013, and one of my friends was talking about one of the races from early on in that season, and I mentioned that I grew up watching F1 with my Dad but stopped, and she as quickly as possible tried to get me back into it. We watched the Spanish GP at my house after a sleepover, then the next race I watched myself was Canada and I’ve been hooked ever since.

Obviously being British, I knew who Lewis was from hearing about him occasionally on the news whenever he’d win races, but my friend was a Rosberg fan and wasn’t that keen on Lewis, so I very softly rooted for him for a long time (bc I’m soft and hate conflict and Seb and Jenson were my favourite drivers by that point).

When Seb and Jenson weren’t in contention for the title, I pretty much always rooted for Lewis (also for reasons I will state in Q2). And while 2017-2019 were very rough seasons for me personally, I very slowly became a Lewis fan from the Seb and Lewis helmet swap video onwards, which has now been cemented this season since Seb retired. (😭)

Tell me one of the reasons he brings you joy. Like what can he do that brings the biggest smile on your face?

One of the strongest Lewis memories I have was from the 2014 British GP (which was the first ever race I went to, and ended up being Lewis’ first win at Silverstone since 2008). On the cooldown/parade lap, Lewis slowed down and drove as close as he could past every single grandstand to wave to the crowds. It really resonated with me then and it still puts a massive smile on my face when I remember it now. It’s a memory that I hope to carry with me for a long, long time.

Aside from that, it has been so nice over the past ten years he’s been at Mercedes to see him grow properly into his own skin and find who he is. I love how hopeful he is, and how much he always tries to be positive and see the good in things. And how he’s always willing to grow, and learn and be the best version of himself. And any time he’s with Roscoe, bc doggos.

What is your favourite Lewis comfort video?

The Seb and Lewis helmet swap vid, as mentioned above. And I love any and all Jenson and Lewis content, especially series 1 of Tooned, and them singing Wonderwall (sorry to steal your answer Lydia)

What is your favourite race? (Could be favourite f1 race or just face Lewis race lol)

As mentioned above, Silverstone 2014, but also Turkey 2020 for obvious reasons, now that I feel like a ‘proper’ Lewis fan I do want to go back and watch loads of his iconic races so drop my a list of recs if you have any suggestions! And my fave race overall is probably the 2018 British GP.

Who out of the S2 cast would be the most well-known, the most successful and who would be forgotten almost as soon as the show ended at the end?

most well-known, which is not always a good thing

lottie. tantrums and lack of tact with people is what made her unforgettable. for better or for worse people remember her. i reckon they love to hate her. her arc was semi-completed and it's appealing to find someone to hate. lottie is that person. she'll always be remembered (and memed) for the girl code. (kind of like georgia was "i'm honest, babe!")

bobby. popular on the outside since he was everyone's best friend in the villa. even if he doesn't find love i think his dm's are FLOODING with ideas to change that. he's just really sweet and an underdog, the public can't resist that combo.

hope. her couple will maintain its status of "together the longest", even if it didn't work. i also like to think people won't forget her because her presence was so strong and she didn't care about what people said about her in the villa.

lucas. the guy's presence is e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g. voted "most iconic intro". if he leaves on day 8 the public accuses producers of arranging that. the flirting, the vocabulary, the LOOKS, how protective he is of henrik 🥺 not to mention the way he threw it right back at gary when the subject was numbers. king behavior!

priya. people still can't believe she left and accuse the show of manipulating the numbers.

gary. mostly remembered by the nan talk, the resourcefulness and the double meaning jokes shot every single second of the day. some people love him, some hate him, but they know who he is.

chelsea. since she was mc's best friend no matter what route you went with she's remembered. will she become a meme? yes! "we all have that one friend that..." but still, people like her.

blake. pfff, i mean listen, i can actually see the public memeing the part where she says "but i just got here" and go crazy with it. it's a use-for-all kind of meme and i would love to see it!

jakub. everyone calls him by the wrong word he learned from the islanders or "sock guy". the sock moment has definitely become the only thing people remember about him.

rocco. ukulele, wonderwall, greasy hair, bro talk, frog something into a drink, you name it. the guy is a walking meme and he'll take advantage of that.

elisa. "i'M aN iNfLuEnCeR" will stay with the public for a long time.

forgotten even before the show ends:

hannah. uhm, i don't have much to say about this one. i know i would forget about her while the show was still going, probably a day or two after she came back.

ibrahim. is he there? yes! is he in people's minds? not until he picks jo and makes a huge mistake. the public often forgets he's there.

marisol. after roccogate, and how she got with graham, that's about it. she fades into the background because she didn't exactly have the strongest presence if it wasn't for the drama. often times i can see people not liking her for her comments about everything.

noah. um... i say that as a stan, if you're not on his route does he exist? "who's noah again?" "hope's bloke."

graham. again, am i wrong? i surely forgot about him from time to time. do i like his looks? yes, but it wasn't enough for me to remember him.

elijah, arjun, carl, kassam (out of their routes). the public could've been confused on the choice of the boys, as we all were.

felix. his butterfly swimming will forever be used as a meme for "hey, it's your crush, act natural" or "i'm felix but life is the water", and that's about it!

forgotten when the show ends

carl. even when he wins, let's be real here, the guy didn't have much of a chance to stand out.

kassam. same as carl, there wasn't enough time or opportunity to flesh out his personality during his journey.

jo. clownery and tom foolery, there's no way people like her, let alone remember fondly. in this case, not remember at all.

henrik. besides switching to blake there's actually nothing that reminds people of him. he's the type that as long as he's on screen people find him adorable, but when he's gone there's nothing people associate him to.

shannon. insanely hot but just as forgettable since the only thing that stood out with her was the fact that she would rather accuse the girl instead of talking it out with the guy. i love her but that wasn't her finest moment.

Okay so generally Willa is all about the adrogyny. But. She does have phases wearing short skirts and dresses too.

I really like Patsy's white cable jumper. I really like the coat Liam wore for Wonderwall. There are some outfits Willa just wears. And some with alterations. And occasionally she just wears a short sparkly dress so I can be twenty in the early 2000s again.

I wasn't going to write this now but...she wears Liam's white safari jacket for Knebworth. Just the jacket...

I am literally losing my mind over Lu and Mei, the yearning, the tenderness, the resolve, the isolation. Even tumblr buzzwords feel alive again bc their dynamic is just so good. I watched the al l the lillies compilation bc I don’t have time for the whole show LOL but the final picture...iconic...I wish I could talk about this with someone because it’s a cosmic entity I stg

I know! I just keep repeating the same words, the pining, the yearning, the selflessness, the romance, but they apply so completely to them. I mentioned before how stripped down their scenes are and how that actually highlights just them and like, remember that Renault ad that briefly went viral, with the two childhood best friends that fell in love? One of them was a redhead and it was set to a slowed down female cover of Wonderwall? This is like that, where because the flashback scenes are deliberately limited, you feel their significance all the more, like these are the moments when things Changed, when huge pivotal shifts happened.

Like, even with the huge jump between the very start of the calligraphy lessons and the night before the launch, you know they’ve passed these two YEARS without making a move or acknowledging what’s been them, just silently aware, because Mei bringing it up now is a new thing. The way she brings it up, having made the decision and picking the quote, practicing the calligraphy for it, engraving the ring and preparing that little speech, it’s so moving. And Lu, who’s usually so decisive and knows the right to do, helplessly giving in because she wants it tooooo. Not only will they be apart for three years, it’s not impossible that she’ll die up there, and she can’t help but want this to be her last night on Earth too. ;_;

And then, anon! They lie next to each other without making a move! By the time they meet again at the end of the mission, having been in love with each other for FIVE years, they STILL WON’T EVEN HAVE KISSED. That’s why I need the fic, lol, get me to that place, please. Mei so in love she’s carrying that ILY note around with her so it can be found in her desk, and for Lu to know the depths of Mei’s feelings for her at the same time she realizes Lu’s being punished because of her sentimentality in leaving that note. It’s too, too much.

Oh, and tbh, while it’s nice to see Lu through the season, you’re actually fine just watching the compilation, removing Mei cut down a lot on what could have been sprinkled throughout the rest of the scenes. :x

"Hey, love can you come help me with something?" It was normal for Will to call Y/n in to help him film something, usually it'd be just another Reddit video, sometimes it'd be for his main channel. It had surprised Y/n when she found out she was needed for an Eboys video. "You're not gonna make fun of me, are you?" Y/n glanced at the camera that was flashing a red dot. He was filming. "Not at all, I actually need your help picking out some of the boys' YouTube videos to review in an Eboys video," Will explained, pulling YouTube up on his monitor. "Then why are you filming?" Y/n kept her eyes on the camera. "Oh, in case there're any golden moments that we can put into the video," Will smiled to the camera. Y/n gave him a look, only causing Will to let out a small laugh. "Anyways, let's look at some of Alex's videos." Will had scrolled down through Alex's videos, finally spotting a good video from around 2 years ago. "Alex's old thumbnails make me anxious to look at," the h/c girl had a look on her face Will couldn't really read. "Why's that?" "I don't know, they look like something a teenage tik toker would make when trying to start a YouTube channel," Y/n had begun to bite on her nails. A smile spread across Will's face, he looked into the camera with a small nod. "What?" "Nothing," Will gave a shrug as he looked back to his computer. There were a few moments of silence before Y/n spoke up again. "It's crazy," Y/n had spoken up as Alex's video began to play. "What?" "Alex has gone through more hairstyle changes than I've changed my clothes," Y/n replied, keeping her eyes on the monitor, watching Alex talk as his purple hair was clearly visible. Will let out another laugh. "Oh, this is great," Will smiled, grasping onto his girlfriend's hand. Alex's video had finished up, leaving Will to start scrolling through his next friend's videos. He had chosen James Marriott to react to next. He had soon enough clicked on a video from James's series 'Can't Actually Sing.' Y/n hadn't said much throughout the video, but it only had taken so long before she finally spoke up. "I'm sorry, but if James keeps talking about Wonderwall, I'm going to lose my mind," Y/n let out a sigh, shaking her head. James had just started to talk about the song again on the video he filmed. "Wonderwall is really that annoying to you, isn't it?" Will looked over to his girlfriend. "I use to not care about the song. it's cool that James likes the song, but he talks about it so often. It's gotten so annoying," Y/n gave a shrug. Will only gave a nod as the couple continued to watch through James's video. "Okay, since you judged Alex's thumbnails, what do you think about James's?" Will had asked as soon as James's video had ended. "He literally makes the same face in every thumbnail he puts his face in. The only difference is that he moves it around. Wannabe Sniperwolf, 3/10," Y/n glanced over to the camera for a moment. There wasn't much emotion to her voice, Will couldn't tell if she was being serious or not. "Wannabe Sniperwolf, that's what I'm calling James now," Will grinned. Finally, it was George's turn to be judged by Y/n. Will had chosen a video that didn't involve George playing a gameplay. Halfway through the video, George had gotten up and began to walk around. "Listen, I know I'm short but at least I'm not George," Y/n shook her head. "Isn't George taller than you?" Will looked over to his girlfriend. "Yeah, but George is also a 22-year-old and is 5'7," Y/n smiled. "George and Alex are like the same height," Will chuckled. "Yeah, well I wouldn't want to be Alex either," Y/n gave another shrug. "Okay, what do you think about George's thumbnails?" Will had closed out of the video, going back to George's posted videos. "Some of them remind me of Alex's thumbnails," Y/n cringed. "I just don't like them." "Do you like any of the boys?" Will let out a laugh. "Oh, of course. They're amazing. They're like family, I just don't watch their YouTube videos," Y/n quickly explained herself, glancing from her boyfriend to the camera. "Okay, but what do you think of the sidemen?" Will had cocked his head to the side. "Why Sidemen? That's literally the weirdest name for a group," Y/n did a playful eye roll. "I've never thought to myself, 'you know, if I had to name a group channel name, I'd name it Sidemen.' Like, are they the side hoes or something?" "You're amazing," Will laughed. "What are your thoughts on Inabber?" "I literally love Fraser, but his YouTube videos are just too long. I really don't want to watch a 20-minute video on Onision or Jake Paul," Y/n shook her head. Will let out another laugh. "This is why I love you." "Only because of my humor? Wow, you have low standards," Y/n rolled her eyes once more. "No, I didn't mean it like that," Will shook his head. "I know, babe. I'm messing with you," Y/n let out a laugh. "Are we done yet?" "Yeah, I'll text the boys and ask if they're ready to film,"  Will smiled, leaning in to give Y/n a kiss.

"Alright lads, I brought Y/n in for a bit," Will had grinned at his camera. He and the boys had just started filming a new video for the Eboys channel. "I had her react to a few of you lads." "Oh god..." James sighed. "I already know I'm gonna get it worst," Alex shook his head. "I think I'm gonna have to agree with that," Will grinned, followed by him letting out another laugh. "Anyways, let's start the video, don't we?" Will had shared his screen with his friends, hitting the play button. 'I don't know, they look like something a teenage tik toker would make when trying to start a YouTube channel,' Y/n finally spoke up on the video. Alex threw his hands up, "They're old videos!" Laughter could be heard coming from the boys. The video continued on, having Y/n to continue talking about Alex. 'Alex has gone through more hairstyle changes than I've changed my clothes.' "Now this is a low blow!" Alex shouted. "I think she's right," Will wiped a tear from his face. He had been laughing so hard tears had been brought to his eyes. "Of course you think she's right, Will. She's your girlfriend," Alex shook his head. "Is my turn done yet? Is she done roasting me?" "Yeah, yeah. I think so," Will nodded, unpausing the video on his monitor. 'I'm sorry, but if James keeps talking about Wonderwall, I'm going to lose my mind.' "Wonderwall's a good song!" James spoke in a defensive tone. "It's an easy song to play on the guitar!" 'I use to not care about the song. it's cool that James likes the song, but he talks about it so often. It's gotten so annoying.' "Oh, I'm sorry! I'll shut up about it when you come around, Y/n," James shook his head. "She's right, mate," George laughed. "You constantly talk about that song." "She's gonna roast you next, yet you're defending her?" James raised a brow. "Alright, I see how things are, George." "Oh wow, James got defensive quickly," Will grinned. 'He literally makes the same face in every thumbnail he puts his face in. The only difference is that he moves it around. Wannabe Sniperwolf, 3/10.' "Oh, c'mon! 3/10? At least I don't put the stupid red square behind me," James let out a laugh. "He gets defensive over a song, but his thumbnails he can laugh about," Alex laughed, throwing his head back. "Let's keep going, I think it'll be my turn next," George ushered Will to unpause the video once again. Will, obliged, and it hadn't taken long for George to pop up next. 'Listen, I know I'm short but at least I'm not George.' "Low blow, Y/n!" George practically shouted, shaking his head. The boys exploded into laughter like dynamite. 'George and Alex are like the same height,' Will had spoken over the video. 'Yeah, well I wouldn't want to be Alex either.' "Hey! It's not my turn anymore!" The Eboys's new video had finally been posted, Will sat in his living room, scrolling through the comments of the video, looking for feedback. 'Y/n is iconic.' 'We want more Y/n! Her humor is awesome!' 'Y/n cult>Louis cult' "Hey love," Will called out, continuing to scroll through comments. "What's up?" Y/n replied, walking over to the couch Will sat on. "The fans love you," Will smiled. "Well, of course they do. I don't know how someone couldn't. They really love your humor though." "That's great," Y/n smiled, sitting down next to her boyfriend. Y/n read the comments as Will scrolled. "I can't believe how many people think I'm funny," Y/n giggled.
