if i were to stream modding progress, would that be a thing people would be interested in? either as a stream live with question answering or as a recorded session people can ‘follow along’ with.

not limited to CAS stuff - i was actually probably going to focus more on tuning stuff / LPP in tandem with the CAS and BB portions of that mod

reason being is that i really want to actually get this stuff done eventually instead of it being my sisyphean curse forever, and a key to my productivity is body doubling/‘parallel play’. however my friends are usually busy at any given time orz

the media and fans have a field day with it. steve and eddie have been public for years yet there's pictures all over twitter of steve cozied up in a booth in the corner of whatever bar, tucked tight into gareth's side under his arm with eddie nowhere in sight. a different fan posts a tiktok of them from a different angle and a little closer and you can clearly see that steve is drunk. his eyes shine unfocused in the camera flash and his cheeks are flushed. in the video he laughs loudly at something and just before one of cc's security guards blocks the view, steve leans in and buries his face in gareth's neck and gareth's fingers go to his hair.

the cheating allegations come out after that. article after article with the photo on the front page but it's nothing but radio silence from the band's twitter. no statement from eddie or gareth. fans think they're hashing it out behind the scenes and are preparing themselves for gareth's exit statement from the band or for the news to hit of steve and eddie breaking up.

none of that happens.

gareth stays in the band, steve and eddie go on like normal. they're papped in a starbucks in new york looking just as much in love as they were before the scandal. eddie and gareth don't behave any different in the videos they post of each other or on stage.

it kind of dies down after that- until a video goes up on the band's youtube one afternoon, shot that morning.

they try to keep themselves as authentic as they can, show the fans that not everything is sunshine and rainbows in the industry, and that they're real people who do real people things, too.

in the video, someone knocks on a hotel door and jeff answers. he says something that's purposefully scripted very badly and it gets a laugh out of the guys. the video shows them walking into jeff's room and it's revealed that it's a room tour. they pan around the corner into the main room and there's a lump in the bed.

there's no awkward silence between them, just a laugh from freak and a "jeeeff, it's almost ten a.m." and then eddie's pulling back the covers to reveal a slumbering steve.

people watching expect the footage to cut off abruptly or for eddie to angrily demand the situation, but again, it doesn't happen. he just laughs and squats down on the side of the bed and runs his hand through steve's hair until he wakes up.

"hey, sweetheart," he says, his voice dripping with fondness as he smiles a syrupy smile that hundreds of fans have dreampt of being on the receiving end of. "have a good sleep?"

they see steve reach out and pull eddie in by the head for a kiss. the video goes back to its scheduled programing after that, eddie following steve into the bathroom to get ready.

they don't do many interviews in the span of all this happening so fans and the media are left wondering what in the world is going on between the five of them. the boys act the same on stage every night without any signs of jealousy between them.

and then steve is photographed wearing a hoodie that fans can clearly see belongs to freak just from the size alone. neither steve or freak are small guys, but the garment is like a dress on steve. it almost goes down to his knees and the arms hang at least three inches passed his hands. it threatens to hang off of one shoulder but goddamn does steve look cozy and comfortable, burrowing into the hood pulled over his head like a little hamster.

the hoodie isn't what gets their attention, though.

it's the fact that the picture is from the band's soundcheck, to the band's twitter, and that steve is sitting on gareth's lap at his drum kit, while wearing the hoodie, and while eddie is leaning down and kissing him. gareth doesn't look put off by it. he's looking somewhere off camera and laughing but his hand is still on steve's waist and steve's is tangled in eddie's wild hair.

it answers all and none of everyone's questions.

As a reporter covering sports events, I had the opportunity to interview some of the most talented athletes in the industry. However, nothing could have prepared me for the encounter I was about to have with Caitlin Clark, the star basketball player known for her incredible skills on the court.

It was a typical day at the arena, and I was getting ready to interview Caitlin after her team’s latest victory. As she walked towards me, her eyes locked onto mine, and I couldn’t help but notice the way she glanced at my lips before meeting my gaze. There was a subtle hint of flirtation in her expression that sent a shiver down my spine.

“Hey there,” Caitlin greeted me with a charming smile, her voice smooth and inviting. “Ready for our interview?”

My heart raced as I struggled to maintain a professional demeanor in front of the camera. The chemistry between us was undeniable, and it seemed like Caitlin was enjoying every moment of our interaction.

As our interview came to an end, Caitlin flashed me a mischievous grin before turning to walk away. Before disappearing from view, she looked back over her shoulder and winked at me suggestively.

Little did I know that our flirty encounter would soon go viral online, with fans speculating about the nature of our relationship based on the footage of our interview. The comments ranged from playful teasing to outright shipping, creating a buzz around our unexpected chemistry.

This is a long one so buckle up.

So that whole thing with slime being blood is weird right? In Episode 1, slime is everywhere. It’s never explained what exactly it is, but everything is covered in it. Charlie is a “Slime Demon”. There’s a Slime Dimension. The food Ranboo “makes” ends up being “slime”.

(Side theory based on that last one, the slime Charlie eats is very different visually from the rest of the slime in the episode, and it’s obvious why from a meta standpoint: it’s supposed to be edible. But in universe this establishes that normal slime is not meant to be eaten. It’s not just poisonous or something, as we know Showfall could just revive Charlie if he died, so it must be just inedible in a different way. I’ll mention this later)

Then in Episode 2, we get the first major hint that slime is actually very different. When Charlie is being operated on, his insides are full of slime. But there’s one moment (in the Founder’s Cut it’s when the camera cuts to security footage in the ceiling corner) where it turns red and Charlie’s chill commentary turns into screams of agony.

We know that things like this were being shielded from Ranboo and the audience because Showfall didn’t want to show them the bloody truth, like how the contestants in the next room are weirdly chipper or calm about their circumstance when the camera turns to them.

And then in Episode 3, in the store where Ranboo and Charlie find weapons and supplies, there’s a bucket labeled “Slime” that is full of an ominous red substance.

So it seems that “slime” is actually just disguised blood right? Showfall messing with our minds as they do, case closed? But things don’t quite add up.

Firstly, why would there be so much blood just everywhere in Episode 1. Especially when they hammer it in that it’s slime. With the Slime Dimension and everything.

Apart from that, why would Showfall choose slime of all things to censor blood as? In Episode 3, a specific employee “bleeds” wires (which I theorized here was actually blood that Ranboo - and the audience - just didn’t see) so it’s not out of the ordinary for them to censor blood but why slime?

And why did they only choose to do so when focused on Charlie?

Well, this answer may be a bit meta, but I think it’s the same as the out-of-universe reason: it’s because Charlie is “Slimecicle”.

Charlie’s main YouTube channel is named “Slmccl”. His main iconic image is a slime. His merch includes slime plushies. Even when he participated in some of his more famous Minecraft series (Dream SMP and Origins SMP) he was a slime creature “disguised” as a human. So it’s pretty obvious why cc!Ranboo would make him a Slime Demon in the first Episode and then run with it from there.

That’s the meta reason. Why, in universe, would Showfall do that though?

Well, Slimecicle is a streamer in the Genloss universe too. It’s not perfectly clear how similar he is as a streamer in universe to real life, but he does have his slime plushies in the background and is clearly being an over the top caricature of himself.

I’m not sure if Showfall intended their viewers to recognize the streamers as themselves and how many of them were YouTubers in universe or how that would work, that’s a whole different can of worms, but it at the very least explains why Showfall would choose slime to be Charlie’s signature “thing”.

But then, why choose to have slime be blood at all? Wouldn’t it be easier to just have it always be “slime”? Well, easier? Yes. But, more interesting? No. And Showfall is more interested in a good show. They want the audience to pay attention. And how better to do so than drawing them in with confusing and potentially scary implications?

So I have this weird headcanon. And it’s definitely not true. And it’s got almost no merit to it. And I still like to think it’s real.

Basically, one or two apparitions show up to every location where there’s been a family tragedy, or if in that tragedy, a mystery hasn’t been solved. One of them is a man in a hat and trenchcoat, shrouded in shadows. The other is a woman in 1940s housewife garb, dress, gloves, and all. She’s always humming, but the song isn’t something anyone could recognize if they heard it. Very rarely will they both be there.

I think you can guess who they are.

They aren’t invisible to regular eyes. People see them. The truly hidden truth is WHY they’re there. Billy and Mary are the only people who know that reason. So whenever they see one or both of their parents in a seemingly normal place, their alarm bells go off. It comes to a point where they disregard all prior evidence and ignore how happy and normal everything looks, because if mom and/or dad is here, something is definitely wrong.

It doesn’t have to be just places on Earth too. Kal sees the shadow man in a picture he finds of past-Krypton, and doesn’t think anything of it. Months later, him and Kara reunite.

Bruce finds old camera footage of THAT alley. The one his parents died in. There’s a woman walking down it, paying no mind to how creepy it really looks. Anyone else would be running to get out, or being as quiet as a mouse, but doesn’t seem to have a care in the world. A year later, Bruce finds the identity of his parents’ killer.

They don’t see the signs. They dont think back on the oddness of these two people because how could they? They don’t know what to look for.

But Billy and Mary know. And they know why. Secrets and lies kept their family apart. It led to CC and Marilyn dying far away from each other. It led to Mary getting amnesia and knowing she had a family, but never knowing how to find them, or if they were even real. It led to Billy living the way he did and suffering through it all.

CC and Marilyn don’t want that to happen to anyone else, so that’s what they do. Places where mysteries aren’t solved and the dead can’t rest until something has been uncovered. They take it upon themselves to make that known, and they trust their children to recognize the signs. It took so long for Clark to find Kara and Bruce to find Joe Chill because they didn’t know.

The Justice League is more than curious about why Billy and Mary always manage to look past all the signs and think there’s something they’re missing. Billy being Billy, he keeps his mouth shut. The twins have never spoken about their parents out loud, afraid they might disappear if they do.

At some point, Batman being Batman, he puts the pieces together. Finds coincidences, the fact that the man in the trenchcoat always comes when a thievery involves magic(CC’s father found the Scorpion trinket, and like his dad, he sees protecting these objects like his responsibility).

Bruce makes the mistake of running at him. Of capturing his hand. Of not letting go.

And he sees it all. The pain of a man’s body being buried beneath soil and earth. Far away from his wife. Not knowing if she’s okay. Scared for his daughter’s life. Praying to every god there is that Billy is safe with his uncle.

The pain is excruciating. He knows he’s dying. He wants so desperately to feel his family in his arms, but they’re all so far away.

There are faces. A kind, lovely woman. A boy. A girl. The woman is on the ground and covered in her own blood. The girl is drugged and kicking and screaming in the backseat of a truck. A boy is kicking and screaming in the backseat of a police car. They are both kicking and screaming and you can hear them and you can’t help.

There’s the feeling where you’re trapped underground. You’re screaming. Your holding in your fear. You’re crying. There’s blood in your mouth. You don’t know where she is is she okay? Are they okay—

Bruce pulls back and his lungs fill with air. The man is gone. He’s never felt so shaken. And he lives in Gotham.

But he recognizes the boy’s face. The face of his coworker.

The next day, Billy passed by him after a meeting.

“You never touch them. That’s the rule.”

I guess I just wanted to dip my toes into the more darker aspect of Captain Marvel. Magic itself has a darker side anyway, so this kinda lines up in my opinion.

Russian Pilot Films His Flanker Falling Away After Ejecting During Combat Mission

The Russian pilot used a selfie video while parachuting to the ground to explain his jet had fallen victim to some kind of surprise attack.

A remarkable video has emerged, taken by a Russian fighter pilot after ejecting from his Flanker series jet, during the conflict in Ukraine. The footage joins a growing collection of air combat incidents captured on camera, by pilots on both sides involved in the war. Although it’s unclear exactly when or where the incident took place, it’s another reminder of the high-intensity air campaign being fought in and around Ukraine and the frequent life-or-death situations that the pilots involved face on a daily basis.

A remarkable video has emerged, taken by a Russian fighter pilot after ejecting from his Flanker series jet, during the conflict in Ukraine. The footage joins a growing collection of air combat incidents captured on camera like never before by pilots on both sides of the war. Although it’s not exactly clear when or where the incident took place, it’s another reminder of the high-intensity air campaign being fought in and around Ukraine and the frequent life-or-death situations that the pilots involved face on a daily basis.

The video appears to have first been shared by Russian military blogger Kirill Fedorov on his War History Weapons account on the Telegram messaging app.

Shot entirely from the pilot’s perspective, the video begins above the clouds, showing the stricken fighter some distance below, in a flat spin toward the ground. At one point, one engine appears to be on fire. It’s not immediately clear what type of Flanker series fighter is involved, due to the distance from the camera and the relatively low quality.

The single-seat Su-35S multirole fighter, as well as the two-seat Su-30SM, and also the Su-34 Fullback, a Flanker-derivative strike aircraft, have all been widely used by Russia in the war in Ukraine. The Su-35S appears the most likely candidate in this instance, with no obvious signs of the broader ‘platypus’ forward fuselage of the Su-34, or the canard foreplanes found on both the Su-30SM and the Su-34. One other potential candidate is an older Su-27 fighter, of the kind that has seen more limited use in the fighting, based at Belbek in occupied Crimea.

The perspective then switches to a view of the pilot, as he descends below his typical orange and white parachute, visor still closed. His portable survival kit, including an undeployed life raft, for a landing in water, can also be seen below him. Around the midway point in the video, on reaching a lower altitude, the pilot is able to remove his oxygen mask, raises his visor, and begins to address the camera.

It’s not possible to make out all the words that he’s saying, due to the buffeting of the wind around him.

However, he does seem to say: “We have been attacked and we had no time to do anything.” There are also various expletives, as might be expected.

Not revealed in the video is how the aircraft came to be shot down. There have been multiple Ukrainian claims by now of Russian Flankers shot down by their air defenses. A proportion of these Flankers have also been confirmed as lost in combat, thanks to available imagery evidence. At the same time, there have also been reported incidents of friendly fire that have led to losses of Russian tactical aircraft. So, friendly fire is certainly a possibility that can’t be ruled out on this occasion.

The relatively relaxed manner of the pilot — and especially the fact that he even decided to record the incident post-ejection — suggests that it may well have taken place over Russian territory, or perhaps a part of Ukraine where he could be confident that he wouldn’t be captured by Ukrainian forces.

Ukraine has dramatically demonstrated its ability to shoot down Russian aircraft flying within Russian airspace, so that’s certainly a possibility here, too, although we could also be seeing a friendly fire incident outside of Ukraine’s borders. The U.S.-made Patriot surface-to-air missile, above all, has been extracting a toll on Russian aircraft operating at some distance from the front lines, in Russian airspace.

According to the Oryx open-source tracking group, at least seven examples of the Su-35S alone have been destroyed in aerial combat in the Ukrainian war since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion in February 2022. The most recent of these was back in February of this year.

While it’s possible that the incident seen in the video is recent, there’s also every likelihood that it could date from earlier in the war and it might even show one of the Flanker losses that had already been confirmed. At this point, we don’t know for sure.

One online account has geolocated the location to an area near Chervonyi Yar, in the Kherson region of southern Ukraine, close to the Russian border, and suggests the incident took place on December 22, 2023. On that day, it was reported that Ukraine shot down three Russian Su-34s in southern Ukraine, although it’s possible that this may simply be another incident, or even that a Su-35S was misidentified as a Fullback.

Beyond doubt is the extraordinary nature of the video, although it’s hardly the first example from Ukraine of how cockpit cameras have changed the way that we see the realities of modern air combat.

There are some parallels between the Russian pilot’s video and that taken by Ukrainian pilot Vadym Voroshylov, callsign “Karaya,” who is claimed to have shot down five Russian ‘kamikaze drones’ in October 2022 before his MiG-29 collided with pieces of missile and drone. He was forced to eject, in an incident we covered at the time. A photo of Karaya’s bloodied face, after ejection, became an iconic image of the air war, while Voroshylov was awarded the Hero of Ukraine for his actions.

Meanwhile, another Russian pilot also recorded his escape from a stricken Su-25 Frogfoot attack aircraft, in headcam video footage that also emerged in October 2022 but which is thought to show an incident from the previous summer. You can read our full assessment of it here.

On that occasion, the Su-25 was flying at very low level when perhaps it was struck by a surface-to-air missile, although it may also have hit power lines. More or less the full chain of events is recorded, starting with the jet departing from controlled flight and then the ejection sequence, followed by the demise of the jet in a fireball, as the pilot floats down to the ground.

Gradually, a growing collection of spectacular cockpit footage is coming together, again reflecting the degree to which almost all aspects of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine are being publicized via social media like no conflict before it.

The Flanker pilot’s ejection video is especially interesting since, while we may well never know the full story behind it, it’s a reminder that aerial engagements can and are still taking place over both Ukraine and Russia.

With the arrival of the first NATO-supplied F-16 fighters in Ukraine in the last few days, we may well be on the brink of a new phase of the air war, although we are unlikely to see these prized assets being used anywhere near where they would encounter another fighter, for now at least.

Regardless of exactly when and where this Flanker combat ejection took place, it’s very clear that the battle for air superiority in the Ukraine war is far from over.

I wasn't planning on talking anymore but I wanted to send you something to hopefully counter all of the doubters that were bumming you out. 😊 People react very emotionally right away when something like this happens, and I think they should at least take time to process everything before getting into any discussions. This isn't even our first round of shenanigans this year. I've been a Taekooker for a long time and the outV/outJK hate campaign has been around at least as long so this is not my first or second rodeo. They almost always follow the same pattern. The Taennope situation is the one outlier and while a lot of people were panicking immediately after the Paris video, most eventually came back around because the weirdness of the whole thing is obvious to the point media play started being the only explanation that makes sense. Features that are almost always present are a combo of real pics/videos and edited or fake photos/videos that get debunked, a lot get debunked very quickly. What they try to pass of as "proof" usually hides the identities somehow, no recognizable or only partially visible faces, blurring, facing away from the camera, or obstructed view. There's always coordination between multiple accounts that start posting everything together, they often end up contradicting each other or overplay their hand by embellishing too much and adding something that is very obviously untrue. One of the most interesting things to me about the most recent shenanigans is the similarities in the "proof" to JK's "scandal" in 2019. What we got first was a pictures of CC camera footage that showed JK backhugging a woman. This actually showed visible and identifiable faces. It was definitely him. I engaged a lot more on Twitter at the time and was in a group chat with a few big accounts and that day was a crazy one, because the accounts that started the rumor tagged us personally. I think they thought we'd freak out and spread it, but we all kept it in the chat and didn't make any public posts. Soon enough the rumor was officially denied, and the woman involved posted a letter saying they were just friends and she apologized for upsetting anyone (which she shouldn't have had to do). Maybe it's because I saw that go down in real time from a front row seat that the recent smear campaign doesn't get to me. I find the whole thing questionable in the same way every incident has been. Except this time Jungkook actually addressed it almost immediately and while talking directly to us. I've seen some imply he said "I don't have a girlfriend" (three times apparently "I don't have any girlfriend") as some sort of half-truth skirting around him having a gf when the video was shot but not now, but I don't think he would say that if he thought there was a risk anything was going to come up that would make it look like he tried to lie to his own fans. If that was a risk I think he would have just stayed quiet about it, and he certainly would have been advised to stay quiet by the company. I also think him expressing relief at having said that is very interesting. How long has he wanted to say something like that. I trust Jungkook. I put my trust in him over a group of people spreading these things, whether they are all real/some real/all fake, for one purpose: to hurt him by turning his fans against him. None of this is reason enough for me to doubt everything I've seen in Taekook. Earlier you said "I have a pretty clear idea in my head on how everything fits together", I feel that. I debunk a lot of Taekook for myself, but there's still a lot that is undeniable for me and I have everything lined up with receipts when it comes to them. The foundation of my belief just doesn't shake that easily. Thank you for posting pictures of them recently, because I think it's very easy for some to forget why they were here in the first place when there is so much confusion.

Anyway, I also have skimmed everything beforehand and they did skip a lot of Take That stuff. Might have cut some based from the footages I see on the trailer that don't appear on the actual cut, which makes sense, he doesn't want to overshadow his friends or painted weird pictures when they're about to release an album around a week from now. He once again said he felt sorry of everything he did to Gary in front of Teddy as if she is Gary, that's interesting. I wanna know what you guys think when you get to this part.

And oh yea, they show Teddy a lot here, front side. But it's only her maybe because she's now 11 and old enough to be shown to camera and besides she is the only Rob's children ever shown her face to public, the rest of her siblings never. I'm pretty sure we're gonna see a lot of her faces from this documentary soon. I'd love to screenshots but Netflix doesn't allow you to do that and I'm too lazy to try bypass that. I just wait until someone do it. Anyway, she looks so beautiful and grown up now. She sings her own song on piano at the end. Her dad's pride and joy.

Tbf, I have never really seen Nobody Someday and I don't know how many footage from that documentary re used for this documentary but I feel like there are a lot because I have seen the bits and they look somewhat familiar. The new stuffs mostly come from Guy Chambers camera which surprise me that they dig his relationship with Guy a lot although at the end weird that they didn't mention Guy has now returned since. It's like if people don't follow Robbie Williams a lot they would think his best songwriter has left him and never return. Well, he has returned and remain each other's best friends. In fact, Robbie's stuffs post Take That reunion since 2013 are produced by Guy Chambers. Also they talked about Nicole Appleton and Geri ginger spice, but we already know that, except now there are more footages.

And the story stops in 2011. The ending is when he reunited with Take That and then skipped to present when he is now living his life well with his family.

Tl;dr if you are big Robbie Williams fans and have watched documentaries and biographies about him and follow Ayda on instagram, there is nothing you haven't known yet. If you like Robbie because you like Take That or vice versa, there is also nothing you haven't known yet.

Also Tl;dr this is bad documentary for someone who never know Robbie Williams before.

Actually, your answer was really interesting because I did not know any of these things! :D Also can I just say, even though you very rarely talk about your experience with cameras/film, it's so nice when you do! I love seeing people talk about something that they are passionate about and/or have relevant experience in.

If I remember correctly, even their bangtan bombs/eps and run bts episodes used to be better quality a few months or years ago. They obviously do not need to be as good as their docus (i love break the silence's quality AND editing so much!), but I noticed a few CCs talking about how it got worse. Why do you think they switched?

oh good i was kinda worried i came off a bit snobby with that response when i totally didn’t mean to 😭 i’m really only just speculating and applying my own knowledge of cameras to what i’ve observed, but i’m no expert and could of course be wrong. i definitely don’t claim to know better than a professional film crew, but in my experience working on sets and learning about what types of cameras work best for the overall product and will provide the best results, it’s been interesting (and frustrating as a cc lol) to see the quality steadily reduce in things like run bts and bangtan bombs. my theory as to why they’ve downgraded to cheaper cameras for those types of media in recent years? besides it being cost effective, well…frankly, they don’t have to hire people with previous experience on any type of film crew to do it. and i’m not saying they don’t have people around who know what they’re doing and are using great, high quality equipment when a situation calls for it—but i think they ALSO have inexperienced staff who they put in charge of the “b-roll” cameras for content that isn’t as prioritized as what the bigger documentary cameras pick up. so like youtube stuff for example. or even most stuff they release on memories dvds. that inexperience comes through a LOT in those videos these days, especially when it comes to simple camera settings like adjusting the white balance to the light in the room or changing the ISO to give a slightly brighter image. really simple fixes that are instead consistent nuisances. i hate to say it so bluntly but i really don’t think some of these staff are taught to use a camera properly at all seeing as they have become a bit careless about it. if you’ve ever seen fan videos from afar of the boys and you notice like one random person trailing behind some member with a small camera in one hand, that’s the kind of thing i’m talking about. proper film crew members are usually distinguishable by the bigger shoulder cams and extra gear they’re wearing, especially if there are extra bodies around them with lights and better mics. that candid footage is fine and it works in certain contexts, i’m not trying to completely disregard certain job roles because i’m sure it’s not easy trying to catch everything all the time, but for a company with so much money it’s a bit laughable how lazy, for lack of a better word, they’ve become when it comes to providing decent footage of certain moments. but sometimes it later turns out that a professional doc crew caught those same moments from other angles! i’ve noticed that happen and we’ve already seen it in one of the disney trailers with the moment they were nominated for their first grammy.

Questions about Henry

You've mentioned he was also selfish with his motivations and knew about William's activities. Did Henry actively destroy evidence to cover up the crimes? Or did he just do the sweet talk press release kind of cover up companies do to distract from scandals?

What other kinds of sketchy or morally grey things has Henry done in order to further his own interests? And does anyone know about the things he's done?

Also, if Henry and William are split up in your interpretation, how did the two of them meet in the first place?

Did Charlie come from different past relationships or were they adopted? And if the latter, did she know? (Also the same for the Afton kids, are they from a previous relationship or adopted?)

What role did Henry originally play in the upstart of the company? If he's heavily motivated by his own personal goals, was Fazbear's always the end game for him? Or was it part of a larger ambitious career goal? Does Charlie's death impact his goals at all?

i'd say henry probably didn't destroy much evidence, since william was pretty meticulous for the most part. however i think he probably would have destroyed camera footage, so all that's really left is eye-witness accounts. and if he were to notice stray bloodstains left anywhere, he would clean those up too. he usually let william do the sweet talking but since william was no longer part of the company he had to do it himself, and he did decently enough. but in the end both he and william were suspects (bc of how henry is describe to react in the books, although my henry is. significantly more chill about it because he already knows what happened. he's just a bit nervous (he did help cover it up after all), accidentally contradicts himself a few times, also perceived to be lying because he can't make eye contact(AUTISM!!!)), but both of them got off for lack of evidence. mentioned it b4 but he's covering for william because "if william wants to ruin everything they ever worked for FINE but he is NOT taking henry with him!!!"

henry covers up accidents at the pizzeria a LOT to keep the brand safe. its kind of the last thing he has left for himself after charlie's death (+ his wife is either dead or divorced him, still deciding). i would presume he probably does some shady tax stuff too. no one really knows about what he's done, and he's honestly kind of elusive to the public eye, so there generally isnt much information that gets out to the public. the only people who would know are william and probably his wife.

i am very much a henry and william met in college truther (its fun). william flying from britain to utah to get away from an abusive home and henry just uhh. just having lived in hurricane all his life, raised by a pretty standard christian family. by miracle they end up at the same college. and they were roommates. oh my god they were roommates /ref

henry had charlie with his wife, so she's not adopted or anything. she's also his only child from that relationship (not sure what to do with sammy? idk how i'd shove him in the plot, so he doesnt exist rn). for the afton kids, both evan(cc) and michael are from william and his wife. however elizabeth is from william and henry (will's wife looks JUUSSSTTT similar enough to henry that william gets off with it(FOR NOW) but she is absolutely suspicious)(i think its funny)(its not mpreg william is just trans)(his wife is too and thats most of the reason they stay together so long)

william and henry started the company together not expecting to go much further than fredbear's but after they became a huge success they pretty quickly started planning new locations. work on the fnaf 1 animatronics started before the bite of 83 so they were partially done before fredbear's had to shut down but never used yet. sorry i went off topic anyways yeah henry is pretty motivated by his own personal goals, he wants to be super successful + improve on his technology + entertain people and show them how cool animatronics are. im not sure i'm interpreting the part about fazbear's being the end game for him correctly but i guess i'd say yes to that? charlie's death hits him super hard and for a few days he cant really bring himself to do anything. but then he just starts throwing himself into his work to cope with her death. i think charlie's death didnt get really any coverage at all so most people dont even know it happened (+ the bite of 83 would have been quite recent at that point and would have way more of an impact on the brand as they struggle to cover it up)

Watch the world’s fastest fish on an epic tuna hunt

The new study comes as scientists work to better understand the feeding patterns of the sailfish.

A team of researchers has captured some epic footage of a sailfish hunt—from the perspective of the sailfish. The researchers from Nova Southeastern University Guy Harvey Research Institute designed a tag with high-tech sensors and a Go Pro-like video camera. After catching sailfish while fishing from Tropic Star Lodge in Panama, they tagged and released their catches. 

The research was initially meant to show how sailfish recovered from being caught by fishermen but instead, the researchers shifted their focus to sailfish predation.

According to the study’s authors, relatively little is known about the hunting patterns of sailfish, which are considered the fastest fish on the planet. The most commonly-known type of sailfish hunting occurs when the apex predators group up and attack baitfish, using their sharp bills to slash and stun their prey. 

These predation events are easily seen by people because they occur entirely at the surface level of the ocean. But the recent research looked at what happens when sailfish hunt alone...

Sara's Big Review of Found Footage Horror Films You've Probably Never Seen

Tired of googling "found footage movies" and being told to watch Blair Witch or V/H/S again? Already watched all the highly recommended “obscure” films? Me too! I have trundled through the depths of Tubi and The Found Footage Critic to find some stuff that you've probably never heard of before. Now you too can reap the benefits of my obsession with this curated list of hidden gems!

The list is in no particular order, but there will be a secondary list of "honorable mentions" at the end, for movies that I feel don't quite fit the genre or I can only half-recommend. 

Accessibility note: Tubi is great about including closed captions/subtitles, so most of these have full subs. I’ll make a note of any entries that have no or limited subs.

Death of a Vlogger

A vlogger accidentally captures paranormal activity on film and goes viral. He teams up with a popular (and possibly fraudulent) ghost hunter to ride the wave of his recent fame. This one is set up mockumentary style rather than solely found footage.

A lot of found footage is more about scares than story, but this is one of the few films I watched with a genuinely compelling story arc. Without spoiling too much, I had some real trouble guessing the ending of this one. It's a fun ride and there's some good scares. There's also some novel camera shots, like a "360" video that's been edited for a flat viewing experience.

Rorschach

Two skeptics meet up with a single mom and her daughter to investigate the supposed hauntings they’ve been experiencing in their home. Imagine if Paranormal Activity was filmed by someone actively trying disprove the ghost instead of just catching it in action.

I’ll admit this one feels almost directly targeted at me, as a diehard skeptic. It’s a fun perspective to approach the story from and while a few other movies I watched did this, this one felt the best executed. Not terribly scary but pretty believable, which is my favorite trait in found footage!

Hollows Grove

Did you like Grave Encounters? Great news! This one has a similar premise - fake as hell ghost hunters show up to film their show and get a real haunting instead.

I won’t pretend this one is offering anything more than a carnival ride of scares. But they’re pretty competent scares, and at points the acting is genuinely impressive.

Catskill Park

What if Blair Witch was about aliens and had the budget and special effects of a Sy-Fy Channel Original Movie? That’s Catskill Park.

The actors are all giving off “small time actor doing their absolute best for their highlight reel” vibes, which I actually found kind of charming. And there’s a couple of scenes that genuinely impressed me with how they were shot and the energy the actors brought. I didn’t necessarily find it scary, but it was definitely interesting.

The Andy Baker Tapes

A high-strung, quick to anger YouTuber meets his eerie, awkward half-brother for the first time. They promptly go on a road trip together.

This is the only psychological thriller I watched that was actually executed well. The tension in this one is absolutely on par with more popular found footage thrillers like Creep. I think if I had to give someone just one recommendation from this list, it’d probably be this one.

The Unknown Visitor

This is one of the few I watched a trailer for before watching, and I was pretty sure it would probably make this list based on the premise alone.

This one’s a pretty good little ghost story... told entirely through a stationary doorbell cam. This is arguably a movie that shouldn’t work without some pretty smart finessing, but it’s honestly pretty effective! It’s also the shortest watch on the list, so it’s great if you’re looking for just a quick spooky movie.

Bed Eater: The Movie

I don't know what the fuck this was. It isn't horror, that's for sure. But it sure as fuck was weird.

Bed Eater is a "successful" "blogger" (and also a real Instagram account which exists) who posts pictures of herself eating in bed. Daniel is a film student who is enamored with her work and wants to film the process of making her final post.

If that sounds like some dumb shit, that's because it is. As a former art school kid, I innately understood every single character in this.

I could not find a trailer for this movie when I googled it. What I found instead was the entire film.

#Screamers

An up-and-coming video streaming site gets an anonymous submission and react as though they've never seen a screamer video before. After uploading it, it goes viral, and they become determined to track down the submitter to pay them to make more videos.

Okay, look. I'm not going to lie, this one is silly, a little dull in the middle, and ALL of the scares are literally just screamers. But the fake-website-talk and random hacking scene are REALLY funny. The actors really put on their best "Sillicon Valley weirdos" impressions.

The Last Broadcast

Did you really enjoy Lake Mungo? Replace that movie’s troubled teen with a cast of local celebrities and the themes of loss and family with the theme of levels of deception in media and you’d get The Last Broadcast. They have very similar vibes and structures. It really kept me hooked the whole way through.

This one hurts me to put on the honorable mentions, because I genuinely enjoyed most of it. However, the ending makes such a baffling and abrupt tonal/editing shift that I can’t really recommend it without including that as a caveat.

Deprivation

Three dudes drive up to a cabin in the middle of the woods to film an experiment where they stay awake for 7 days.

For a movie without a lot of actual scares, this one sure had me on edge! The three stars do a pretty believable job of playing off each other. Once the deprivation sets in, it’s hard to tell who might snap and what’s real or not.

It’s in the honorable mentions for the same reason as the last entry. Why do these otherwise competent filmmakers not know how to end a movie???

Inspired by D.A.R.E. I used the video for extra reference especially for the front side of the room which i couldn't see well in the reference pics.

Theres a cute little scene in the MTV Cribs Gorillaz short where noodle kicks Murdoc out of her room. The cute ceiling lanterns are missing in this pic because I forgot to start the tab camera from a zoomed out position and they fade when you zoom in my bad.

In the Phase 1 room, that little blue chair was actually Noodle's bed but after she has the white one, so I made it into a chair. If you understand it, please ignore the sign probably meaning something extremely random I can (slightly) read hiragana/katakana but not kanjis sorry I hope it doesn't mean poop or something bad it was just for aesthetic.

I made her room quite messy, because I have an obsession with messy rooms and Gorillaz aesthetics did tend to be quite cluttered and messy.

I like to imagine Cyborg Noodle stole Noodles soldier clothes, so that's why she is wearing them. She is still a badass who loves to train just in case.

The literal description of Kids with Guns. Obviously guns are bad, this is fiction, don't use guns.

I used tons of Cyberpunk 2077 cc for this room and other parts of the building. So that giant head is a Beta version of Shaun Ryder before he could drunk-British karaoke sing D.A.R.E. with Noodle in her secret room. No one is going to convince me that Gorillaz is not slightly cyberpunk, they're a virtual band with holograms, with cyborgs, weird talking robot heads, dystopian and apocalyptic themes and beaches made of plastic.

The bathroom and many parts of the lot were made up but there was no way I was gonna make a poor innocent little teen girl share the disgusting toilets and bathrooms with three dirty grown men ( ×m×) Hers is also slightly dirty but nowhere near as bad I'll post them in future posts.

I created these sims a long time ago, they were so much fun to make, I even made my own (terrible) cc to make certain clothing items more accurate. The lot they live on is Kong Studios, I kind of mixed all the Phases, but my favourite was Phase 2. In the future I hope to do more Phase 3, after that everything is a bit unknown to me as Gorillaz were kind of on hiatus for many years after Plastic Beach and I fell out of touch with them, only to realise quite recently they have tons of new music 🧡

For the inspiration I used I'll leave reference photos I found, from all the old online flash games there use to be, I loved them it's a shame that part of the internet is over x), as well as using their music videos and Rise of the Ogre comic. They're all super bad quality because 240p videos and footage of the 2000's.

Overall I had a really fun time making them and taking these pics, I know they're old but it gives me a lot of nostalgia and I love their music and the entire project. Also I use tons of cc so I don't know if I'll be sharing a CC list, I started making it only to see I was taking 3 hours for barely any of it, so I may (possibly) share it in the future with the lot and sims files, but for now I'm just showing the project. I might also make some cosy lets play videos with them just chilling for my YouTube.

Capsule Corp Drone, (CC Drone) aka “Little Birdie” / “Birdie Bot.” / “Birdie.”

- The nickname comes from the phrase, “a little birdie told me.” A tool used by Time Patrollers, this little machine records and reports footage to Graders/Instructors. Footage from a BB can be broadcasted live and is often used to stream footage onto overhead displays during tournaments.

They were originally produced to be electronic pets for children and families by the Capsule Corporation. The built in camera feature was supposed to be used to record precious memories or to be used as security cameras within a home while the owners were asleep. However, there was a fault in their programming, where they would throw themselves into danger, (They need to get that perfect photo of the perp breaking into the home!) often being destroyed in the process during the testing phase. Instead of scrapping the project or modifying their code, the little drones were sold to Conton City to be used by Patrollers during Missions, where danger lurks around every corner. The perfect environment for a Birdie to thrive.

- They come with two modes, Photo Mode and Video Mode.

- Not mandatory to take on Patrolling Missions, but it does make filling paper work a hell of a lot easier!

- In Sleep Mode, all wings retract back in, making it look a lot like an egg. The Charging Station is called the “Nest.” Much larger charging stations can be purchased for multiple Birdie Bot’s to charge in at the same time.

- White is the default coloring for all Birdie Bots. Can be customized with your own skins and stickers. (if you own one. You can not modify a rented BB.) The lens can also be interchanged for different colors. The default lens is dark pink.

- When it’s about to start recording, a two note chirp will sound from the BB. (Sounds a lot like a bird chirp, hence the nickname) They do not make sounds during recording, as it could ruin the footage they are capturing.

- The wings on a BB can get squeaky, making it even sound more like a bird. Be sure to keep your Birdie Bot in top condition with regular maintenance!

- Often used during tournaments to get close up shots in fights. Sometimes they get a little too close.

- The two lights on the front can be used to light up a dark room. Works as a camera flash for photos.

- Not unusual for someone to own many of BB’s, due to their self-destructive natures.

- Are quite cheap to purchase, due to how often they break.

- Takes and records photo’s in High Definition.

- Birdie Bots are dare devils and have no fear.

- When purchased or rented out, they come in a capsule.

- Birdie Bot’s have built in speakers, showing at one time, they may have been able to communicate with their owners. However, it seems that this feature was discontinued, after most BB’s were so committed to their directive, they decided to stay silent.

- Possibly non sentient. It is unknown if they have personalities as Birdie Bots have short life expectancies, due to getting in the crosshairs of a ki blast quite often.

- Self destructive. Will do anything to get the perfect shot, even if it means their inevitable termination. (Based on Xenoverse 2’s “Photo Mode.”)
