Etymologically Identical: The Masterpost

Summary: Three thousand, seven hundred, and nineteen years after the world goes awry, a teenager with green and white hair breaks from stone and sets out to save humanity from a mysterious cataclysm.

Meet Ishigami "Sora" Chisora, girl genius.

Rating: Teen and Up (contains swearing and some heavy themes)

Additional Notes: This AU isn't a one-to-one replacement of Sora with Senku. Rather, it's a version of Dr. Stone with Sora as the main character. She's a version of Senku of course, but she's also her own character, with a slightly different personality based on how she grew up as opposed to her canon counterpart, and slightly different choices as a result. Also, I really like writing Senku as a trans boy, so for this genderbend, Sora is a trans girl!

Holmes College Adventures Masterpost AO3

A couple more of my thoughts and headcanons on the topic that came up in the meantime (hopefully no spoilers?):

I wanted their relationship to be a queerplatonic one, so if you're here for romance, you'll be disappointed. Holmes has some things thought through (as I tried to show in the previous part), he does like Victor on a different level than he has ever experienced, but he doesn't know where his boundaries of being comfortable are, and, at least for now, this is all too confusing for him to experiment. So he's just enjoying the time that they have and doesn't dwell on in too much.

Second thing is, Holmes seems to be alright with thouch, at least the way I read him. (Honestly, the amount of touch provided by him, to Watson in the first place of course, but also to other, random people? That's a LOT to me. But my view may also be biased, I don't like touching at all.) Yes, so, Holmes is alright with casual touch, and the closer he is with someone, the more alright he seems to be. I can see him as a type who will start treating friends like furniture, if they're close enough.

Ah and the third thing. I believe Holmes to be the kind of student who did a lot of extracurriculars in his fields of interest, and barely passed or had to repeat all the rest. And I hc astrology to be his sworn enemy. Because what influence does it have on the results of his chemical research or crime? Exactly.

ch. 163: SessKagu meeting for the first time. Kagura wonders aloud if Sesshomaru might be able to defeat Naraku.

ch. 203: Kagura offers Shikon jewel shards to Sesshomaru in order to defeat Naraku. Sesshomaru declines and asks why she doesn't do it instead. Kagura is indignant and flies away.

ch. 318: Kagura approaches Sesshomaru to tell him there's another way to the otherworld.

ch. 321: Kagura shows Sesshomaru a gate to the otherworld and then observes from afar.

ch. 322: After seeing the guardians kneel before Sesshomaru, Kagura is sure he's the only one who can defeat Naraku.

ch. 342: Sesshomaru notices Kagura flying towards him. She offers to tell him a way to find Naraku's heart.

ch. 343: Kagura gives Sesshomaru a crystal that can locate Naraku's heart. Sesshomaru asks her if she's using him. She replies indignantly that he's the only one that can defeat Naraku and flies away. Rin says Kagura likes Sesshomaru.

ch. 350: Kagura flies towards Naraku's heart but gets attacked by Moryomaru. Sesshomaru smells her before she falls into a river. He wants to let her float but Rin won't allow it. Eventually, Sesshomaru has to pull Jaken, Rin and Kagura out of the river. After Kagura has healed and woken up, Sesshomaru wants to leave. But when Kagura tells him she found Naraku's heart, he finally looks at her.

ch. 351: Kagura tells Sesshomaru what she found out. Sesshomaru concludes that it's pointless for Kagura to continue since Naraku now knows that she's after his heart. Kagura wonders why she's still alive, then, and turns to leave. Rin stops her by asking if she doesn't want Sesshomaru to save her but Kagura denies, thinking she just wanted to see him one last time before she dies, and leaves. Sesshomaru watches her fly away.

ch. 365: Sesshomaru orders Jaken to shut up before he can tell Moryomaru that they got the locating crystal from Kagura, thus covering for her. (Thx @chickenstilldancing !)

ch. 371: Naraku confronts Kagura regarding her betrayal. Sesshomaru smells the both of them and flies towards them instead of going after Naraku's heart.

ch. 374: Sesshomaru finds Kagura dying in a field of flowers where she dies smiling, having been able to see him one last time.

ch. 406: Sesshomaru and the InuGang are fighting Moryomaru who keeps insulting Kagura and her death which provokes Sesshomaru. (The chapter is called "Wrath" after what Sesshomaru is feeling.)

ch. 407: Sesshomaru knowingly risks Tokijin because he's in emotional turmoil after Kagura's death and what Moryomaru said about her.

ch. 409: Being called by Tenseiga, Totosai approaches Sesshomaru to re-forge it since something new has been born inside Sesshomaru. Sesshomaru reflects back and supposes it's because of Kagura's death and Moryomaru's insult of her.

ch. 410: Sesshomaru receives the reforged Tenseiga and is immediately able to use Meido Zangetsuha. He thinks about Kagura and Moryomaru's words and decides that he'll be the one to determine whether Kagura's death was for naught or not. The moment he claims the reforged Tenseiga as his own, the wind blows all around him.

Chapter 1: Tear You Apart- Read on Tumblr + Read on Ao3 + Images

After the rise of the Empire, neutral planet Ga'hah is occupied by Imperial forces. Governorship has been assigned to Nyem'Tok Ra, a Ga'haiian native who married into Coruscant money. Nyem'Tok's business is pleasure, owning and operating The Red Spire, a collection of brothels ranging in exclusivity. The highest club on the tower is The Red Crown, managed by Governor Ra's daughter, Tah'Nyem. The socialite delinquent shadows her fathers footsteps through the underworld, and now finds herself in a political maze with no guidance for what to expect. Thus, it comes as a surprise when her father insists she take a military escort back to Ga'hah suddenly one evening. Aboard the ship she meets an unlikely ally, a "defective" clone Commander on light duty after a long stint at sea. These two castaways feel a kinship, as if their worlds are changing too fast to leave a place for them. Will they be able to survive the shift, or be crushed by the traps that seem to be set for them both.

Chapter 2: The Big Empty- Read on Tumblr + Read on Ao3 + Images

The transport to Ga'hah is boring, boring, boring, and though Tah'nyem makes to amuse herself with the bristly clone commander she may have bit off more than she can chew, not that she's one to admit it. She attempts to maintain focus and composure while waiting on progress into her own investigations which may reveal more than she's ready to learn. Every one seems to have let down their guard, but not everyone on the ship may be a friend.

Chapter 3: Not a Crime- Read on Tumblr + Read on Ao3 + Images

After crash-landing on a desert world, the main objective is getting off of it again. A backwater pirate operation is nothing for the Elite Imperial Sniper, even alone... What's not accounted for is Tah'nyem's draw for bad luck and mischief. They'll have to try to navigate the hostile environment without getting too distracted.

Chapter 4: Aliens Talk-Read on Tumblr + Read on Ao3 + Images {Explicit}

How does one ignore the inevitable? You already know it's useless to try to avoid it, but how do you ignore its presence at your peripherals? The way it taunts you. There is absolutely nothing challenging about being stuck together on an isolated moon completely alone and cut off from the outside universe for an undisclosed amount of time. There should be plenty of wholesome ways to distract oneself... right?

Chapter 5: Pleasure- Read on Tumblr + Read on Ao3 + Images

After the night they had these two attempt to clear the air and ask the questions they've been avoiding, but even as Tah'nyem divulges some of her darkest secrets Crosshair can't help but notice the sudden coldness from his traveling companion. He's left with the decision as to whether or not he lets her pull away as they leave the liminal moon, crossing from his world to plunge headfirst into hers.

Chapter 6: Madly - Read on Tumblr + Read on Ao3 + Images {Explicit}

Where is the man Tah'nyem had come to know? Reserved, cautious, definitely not one to take risks... well there was that one time... and then... well... Regardless. Despite the ensuing chaos, she's told him to do as he likes and he has every intention of showing her exactly how he likes it.

Chapter 7: Sweet Water - Read on Tumblr + Read on Ao3 + Images

Estkle City, hugging the base of the equator mountains, alive with the winds peeling away from Ga'hah's storm spot; This city is port du call for the grand rail that brings civilians through to the Sohn city state in the North. It's the last stop before Tah'nyem finds herself home. Armed with a satchel of casino winnings and a posh nightlife these two are determined to enjoy their evening.

Escalation, as in the rise of a mountain, like the ones that border Estkel City dividing the polarized world of Ga'hah. Buildings climb in an rising pattern as Tah'nyem Ra also finds herself in a pattern of...escalation.
