Second week in my Hobonichi Weeks 2024. It was a challenge to draw the Christmas ornaments and make them look shiny, but I think I did not bad.

If I were to host a dinner party, it would be with an incredibly restrictive guest list.

I would hope any theoretical guests behave themselves enough to wait for dinner to be served before picking at things.

Either way, while I do appreciate that this is actually a suggestion for once, it is not the kind of suggestion that belongs in the box.

I've already organized a silent protest in my area, I strongly encourage every single person who sees this to do the same. People do care. Someone just has to be brave enough to speak up first (though I'd hardly call it brave to say "I don't like genocide actually.").

Praying is nothing, social media is good but not enough, and donations are rotting away in the desert because the IDF is violently refusing any entry into Gaza. If you can't protest, spread the word so people who can will see this.

This Christmas I'd like to share my love for this community by doing a little Xmas Gift Giving! I prepared some little presents that I would love to exchange for just one simple thing:

Send me an ask or make a post tagging me (#annietrack) in which you give a person that's part of armyblr the love they deserve. Whether it be you telling them how much they brightened your year, if there was a post of them that made you especially happy, what you wish for them for 2024, it's completely up to you; you can even gift them something, like a gif(set) or any other kind of art!

Of all the people who participate I will randomly choose five people that will receive some little presents from me. The presents are

🌙 1x Jimin's Photofolio with all inclusions ❄️ 1x 2 official photocards of your choice from my small pool of pc's that I would've sold otherwise (all in great condition) + lots of freebies 🎁 3x one bts gifset of your choice from me; it can be anything you want (yes, also a huge compilation if you'd like!)

Christmas at Annie's (I'm laughing writing this) will end on Taehyung's birthday, 12am KST on Saturday 30th December 2023. I will announce who will receive the gifts on Sunday, 7th January 2024 and will then contact the persons privately as well.

All I'm gonna say is that Rtas is the blueprint. Your favorite things about Thel came from Rtas.

If you like Thel's attitude towards women, you have Rtas to thank for allowing Tul 'Juran to join his crew. Thel only considered accepting women into the Swords of Sanghelios after Rtas vouched for her.

If you like that the Unggoy are treated better and given leadership positions in the Swords of Sanghelios, you have Rtas to thank for his empathy towards them, recognizing Stolt's talent despite his species, and giving him a leadership role.

And if we really want to split hairs:

You know who risked his life killing a fanatical San’Shyuum who threatened the galaxy first? RTAS!!!

And he did it while still in the Covenant, where he would undoubtedly be executed if discovered. He was always a leader first, zealot second.

Thel might be the shiny finished product, but only because Rtas did the groundwork.

I want to write a Christmas fluff one-shot with Danny introducing the YJ cartoon version of M'gann and Conner to some Christmas traditions because M'gann asked him nicely, and this boy is weak to pretty girls asking him nicely (or not) to do stuff. However, he would draw a line on Santa. Sorry, not sorry. I'm just not sure how he would do it, so help me decide.

Option two means that Santa is like this goat that gets burned.

Also, I kinda struggle as a Catholic-raised European because I have no idea what my traditions are also things he would introduce. Like, do you American atheists have Christmas Eve big dinner? If yes, then you probably don't have 'no meat' rule cause it's Catholic tradition and in historically more protestant countries it's not a thing but then what do you eat? When do you exchange presents? Do you wait for the first star to begin celebrations?

There are some of my traditions I can rule out, but still, I struggle.

So, my dear American or at least more knowledgeable reader, what's YOUR favourite Christmas tradition that Danny could introduce his alien friends to?
