I watched clone wars' bad batch episodes again before watching s3 finale and i wanted to say

When i watched these episodes first time i thought echo was going to do something bad but he didn't, nothing happened. But why?

I love echo but last in the last episode of the bad batch there were so much parallel with fives and i think they might just bring him to kill. It doesn't make any sense but why did they bring him back, why is there so much similarity to fives.

I hope everyone lives "including tech". But i think this is an ending we will never have. Tomorrow bad batch is ending. And i am not ready for it.

And for the last time, i hope everyone lives and they get an happy ending.

Omega and Harriet; two visionaries in their own right

This is from that crossover fic I keep mentioning. The idea behind these two meeting is that, if we make Omega force sensitive (which I think the show is going for anyway?), these two would have a lot to talk about.

What is good and what is evil? What is power, and how should it be used? Where does the force/slabs come from? Does chaos always call for order and vice versa, or could one exist without the other - I.e. does it make sense to strive to wipe out the Syth, and will the force vanish with them?

So yeah, fun stuff to think about and mess around with. In the fic it serves a good break from everyone else having cartoony action scenes and verbal fights.

TtFR Ch 8: Into the Unknown

After breaking through into a new galaxy, Shadow and the Bad Batch find that getting to the planet's surface isn't as easy as they first thought. Meanwhile, Tech struggles with some doubts about his new squadmate and partner.

Hyperspace… had nothing on this!

A kaleidoscope of colorful nebulas lined the walls of the wormhole, giving the passageway the appearance of a bioluminescent rainbow ocean beneath a clear night sky. Well, an ocean in tunnel form, blurring past at nearly incomprehensible speeds. Stars and colors streaked by, drawing a gasp from our mouths. Sure, I’d created the thing and had a Pinterest board full of visual inspiration for it, but seeing it in person? 

Oh, to be an author whose original stories become popular and get turned into a movie. 

Considering the amount of time it took for me to make any progress on a single story, that was certainly a ways away. Not to mention the hurdles of getting readers for original content in general. But for now, surrounded by the Bad Batch and immersed in my very own stories, I was happy as a clam.

What’s that even mean?

“Dank farrik,” Hunter breathed. The swirling colors reflected in his dark eyes as he looked at me. “You… this is something you designed?” he stammered. 

The others were speechless, including Tech who stared slack-jawed at the spectacle with childlike wonder in his eyes. Wrecker bore a similar expression, and even Crosshair looked far younger than he was as he gazed at the wormhole. No, not younger. He looked his true, chronological age. 

Emotion creeping up my throat, I turned to Hunter. “Well, I did say I was imaginative!”

“Yes, but-” He looked once more at the wormhole. “Wrecker’s right, you are our creative one.”

I laughed, vision blurring with tears. “Hellfire, gonna make me cry.”

Hunter looked at me in alarm. “What?” he exclaimed.

“In a good way!” I assured him, elbowing him. 

“Ah, well.” His eyes narrowed. “Um, cyar'ika? Care to explain what’s on your neck?”

The Bad Batch’s Love Languages

Hunter: Its subtle, but Hunter uses Physical Touch to communicate love. We see it in hugs, shoulder squeezes, or the gentle brush of skin as he passes; Hunter knows that if he is touching you, you are safe, and that is the most reassuring thing he can give you. Each touch is specific and purposeful regardless of how short lived. However, he doesn’t like to *be* touched; no, Hunter knows he is loved in return when his Squad spends Quality Time with one another. His Squad is his family, and, in times of peace, when they don’t need protecting, he knows he’s done good when he sees them all smiling together.

Echo: Words of Affirmation. Growing up like other regs, Echo was constantly looking for validation from his squad. It’s why he always repeated orders back to the Letter, to make sure he heard it right and everyone heard him. Things get exceptionally rough when no one has anything good to say, be it about the him or the weather, but Echo truly shines with a soft compliment or an gentle reminder that he is in fact *a good boy*— after all, he spends all that time complimenting or dissecting a plan because he cares, and he believes you deserve to know.

Wrecker: He is a Gift Giver. Even when he is spending Quality time, it is accompanied by gifts; even when he is providing a Service, it is to make gifts; even when he is showering you with Physical Touch, it is shortly before/after a gift. Wrecker thrives by merging all the love languages, meeting everyone’s needs half way, and by effortlessly giving the gift of their own love language. He also likes to receive gifts, but nothing will ever quiet live up to the joy he has giving gifts to others— though sometimes its a rock that just happens to look like you.

Tech: Is and always has been Acts of Service. As a clone with an exceptional mind, he knows his ability to meet people half way is hindered by his lack of *feeling*— he sees it in the subtle downshift of their lips at a bad gift or the almost-apologetic pitch of their brows when he tries (and fails) to compliment someone. But an Act of Service is something he alone can provide, be it maintaining the ship or providing some kind of informational instruction. Tech will always feel more loved the more you help him before he even asks, and he’ll go out of his way to help you in return in ways you didn’t know you needed.

Crosshairs: Tricky but not impossible; Crosshairs has never been a person of many words, possessions, or cuddles. Although he will do an Act of Service, it is usually out of Soldier Obligation and not because he actually wanted to. Rather, when he provides a service, it is only after someone asks and he is reminded that that is what people want, *good soldiers follow orders.* Crosshairs Love language is Quality Time. He loved his squad because the accepted him, and he hated his squad because they left him; he hates Omega for stealing that from him, and he resents himself for choosing what was expected of him over what he truly wants.

Bonus:

Omega: Quality Time; its what made growing up alone on Kamino so much harder. How did Omega know she was loved by anyone other that Nala Se if she never saw anyone else. That is, except for the Bad Batch. Perhaps they didn’t know it at the time, but Omega helped as a part of their creation; she saw them grow up, albeit from a far, and loved them anyways. Partly because of how much time she spent with them, and partly because of how much time she *would* spend with them. Running away with Clone Force 99 was the best form of Love she ever received, and ever wanted.
