okay we need to get ready for bed so we can wake up on time for our appointment later because we have to go to a hospital in another city for it and weirdly I'm not as anxious as I thought I'd be at the moment but it is only the consultation and not the actual surgery so y'know

i'm so bummed i accidentally turned town a job interview for a job where I could have worked with a good friend and mentor 😔
#i was telling her abt the preschool i got hired at and i was like yeah im worried bc the other teacher doesn't seem nice#and the student teacher ratio is really bad they're really understaffed and underfunded im just really worried it will be too much for me#and she was like oh you should apply to the school i work at bc we're hiring snd the ratio is great and the pay might be better also#and i never knew the name of the school she worked at until then#and its one i DID apply to but i told them nevermind after this one hired me 😬#but now i really wish i'd taken that interview#i'm going to call or email first thing on monday tho and hopefullyyy i can get in for an interview before i start my new job on thursday#so i wont literally have to take time off for it#and then if they offer me i will be able to tell the new job nevermind while its still early#either that or i'll try to stick it out a few months then apply to the other one for summer or something#but im not sure whether its best to quit immediately or let them think im dependable and staying then leave in three months lol#but mostly for the other job idk if it would ruin the opportunity to tell them nevermind i want the job a week after i said no#compared to a few months later#they might have forgotten me by then which would probably be good#idkkk#my first reference literally works there which will hopefully help and maybe they'll give me a break#the pay scale looks the same as the one i just accepted but i think they'll offer less bc they're not as desperate#but i literally dont care its such a better working environment#and the pay scale is the same so they would give me a raise after a few months#and the work will be so much easier#and the commute#and i Definitely know i can work with my friend#vs the co teacher at this new job who seems really intense and unfriendly#anyway!!#im really anxious abt this new job and i'll stay if the other place wont take me now#but i really hope they give me another chance#also its super close and easy drive and the commute for the other one scares me a bit lol#this has been a shitpost

hmmmm I drafted an email to my boss abt how her text regarding my time off request after my mother's death made me feel very uncomfortable and how I felt like it was unprofessional should I send it
#obviously I did not go to sleep after that reblog kshdmudksb#anyway I want to but also like I work closely w her every day and I don't want to eternally feel uncomfortable because I confronted her#but at the same time like her text made me feel bad enough that it completely altered how I feel about my job#like I was going to come back next year and for summer camp but how she handled the whole thing just made me feel Bad#and like if in the future something else happens where I need extended time off she will be equally as not understanding#idk it just put a rlly bad taste in my mouth that she tried to make my co workers work life my responsibility during my time off#I feel like thats something she needs to be confronted about#but like. what outcome will that have other than making it uncomfortable to be around her for the foreseeable future#idk and also like. everyone else in my life including co workers has been so understanding and kind and compassionate#but even her My Condolences tm text was kind of cold and rude#and its like. okay maybe I'll calm down about this once I'm not In The Throws Of Grief but at the same time#I am in a very emotionally vulnerable place and someone intentionally took advantage of that to make me feel bad#thats kind of a big deal?#idk its just weird. she'd been so understanding until I actually needed something from her#I'd also sort of been getting the impression that she was growing tired of the whole broken foot thing#but I was hoping that that was just me projecting cuz I feel bad about not being helpful#now I am nawt so sure...#anyway this really sucks I really loved my work environment and then it was ruined with one (1) text#ghost posts#text

#so a coworker of mine that ive been having quite a few various issues with the past few months seemingly got fired today#(i cant confirm he was fired but between the phrasing of his departure email and him not putting in a two weeks it seems like he was fired)#and it honestly feels like a massive weight has been lifted off of my chest#(despite knowing we still have a long way to go in terms of inclusivity as a whole organisation but im hopeful to make changes with that)#cos i know that our clients (at least legally) are going to be getting the best help possible between me and our other legal advocate#and im hoping that now that his (honestly) oppressive energy is gone the environment at the office will be much nicer to work in#im just worried about potentially getting overwhelmed or incredibly busy cos ill have to take his existing clients#and any new ones needing help in my specific service areas cos im now the only person serving these areas#but ill handle that if it happens#i just feel like i can breathe and that ill feel a lot more comfortable being myself at work#also our supervisor has been out all week while being on vacation so she is gonna come back on monday to a real big surprise#anyway sorry for the rant#but these prompts are lowkey my diary so kind of not sorry#anyhoo back to our regularly scheduled programming#the prompt gives the feeling of the 'churchyard' (whether the church or the cemetery) pulling people or souls or corpses in to feed on#and for me there is the added theme or element of abuse through the word 'churchyard' reminding me of the song of the same name by aurora#there is just a lot to play around with here#definitely more than there appears to be on the surface#aurora#aurora aksnes#aurora music#infections of a different kind#thanks for reading#writing#writer#creative writing#writing prompt#writeblr#trying to be a writeblr at least

I’m watching this show & there’s an older transfem nonbinary character that’s dating a dad of a 13 y/o nonbinary kid, and I’m on the episode where the kid meets the partner for the first time. and the kid is on my nerves with the typical Kid Hates Dads New Partner shtick. And like I get it when kids have a hard time with parents dating. but because of my own experience with queerness and unaccepting family I’m Annoyed cause iTS GIVING PRIVILEGE!!! Like oh my god if I was in that position I’d be so fucking excited!!! This awesome older queer nonbinary person starting to come into the family, wanting to get close & bringing more older queer people around too!!! That’s so fucking cool!! like God I Wish That Were Me!!!!
#The kid acknowledged the privilege vibes & seem nice enough but I was just SHOOK that this kid wasn’t happy to have a queer adult around lol#And tbh it felt just a lil unrealistic cause I’m an out queer young adult that sometimes works with kids#And the trans kids always give the vibe that they’re quite happy to have a queer trans person as one of the People In Charge#& they give that vibe no matter how supportive their families and environments are#Like even when they’re in privileged situations w/ great families they still feel a kinship with the queer community & look up to Elder Gay#Not that I’m an Elder Gay. But for a lot of them I’m probably one of the only trans people they know that’s considerably older than them#I mean I personally don’t know trans people that are much older than me (& by “know” I mean “see somewhat regularly”)#The older queer people I know are LGB. But no Ts in anywhere I’ve worked or been a student of or anything#I know a lesbian director & her wife that sometimes co-directs. An older gay man that assists in the theatre dept. at college#My best friend’s mom that started identifying as pansexual after being the best Ally Mom to her daughter & all us “adopted” kids#And of that family there’s some family friends with lesbian parents#But no older trans people in my life#So I just think that would be so fucking cool to have an older trans person and their queer friends brought into my life#Lol anyways it’s not that deep but when the kid character was acting like that I just kept going “ITS GIVING PRIVILEGE!!!!” lmaoo#just cause I’m lowkey jealous & wish I had anything like that growing up lol

The Environment of Yesterday’s Co-working Space was Baneful
Gone are the sick days of traditional office setups featuring rigid hierarchies and employee isolation. Crammed into cramped cubicles, employees were doing tasks and having breaks in isolation. Even amid co-workers, people felt deeply disconnected and alone.
Tumblr media
Employees no longer built connections, shared no project ideas and hampered their problem-solving skills. Even when surrounded by colleagues, professionals often felt profoundly alone. The office Dilbert satirized became an unfortunate reality for many disillusioned workers.
But fret not, people have evolved with time and so do these co-working spaces. Co-working spaces have completely changed the way we view work itself.
These modern-day shared workspaces are designed brilliantly to the demands of today’s employees who crave:
 An open, collaborative atmosphere
Flexibility and freedom to work their way
Interaction, networking and creative cross-sharing
A sense of community and professional culture
The blog explores how modern co-working spaces have revolutionized the traditional office structures, ones that impacted people’s ability to connect and flourish in an office environment. By adopting a client-centric approach, each point addresses these issues from the perspective of individuals who were unknowingly experiencing the pangs of disconnection and isolation.
Networking and Collaboration While traditional offices provided clarity and direction in terms of profession, they stifled an employee’s creativity, innovation and collaboration. This limited autonomy is counter posed by the opportunities of networking and knowledge-sharing in modern co-working spaces
F For Flexibility Rigid work schedules and structures were taking a mental toll on co-workers. The modern co-working space understood the demands and problems faced by these workers and built private offices, meeting rooms based on specific needs and requirements. Earlier employees were required to adhere to strict nine-to-five schedules, regardless of individual preferences or productivity peaks. This lack of flexibility resulted in burnout, stress, and reduced job satisfaction, particularly among employees with personal or family commitments.
Sharing Ideas Over Competition However, the co-working offices have challenged this isolating workplaces. Today’s co-working spaces are specially designed keeping in mind the problems and demands of clients. These modern workspaces promote human connection, inclusive collaboration and creativity.
Work-Life Balance Contrary to popular belief, working longer hours does not necessarily equate to higher productivity. Unlike traditional offices with strict nine-to-five schedules, co-working spaces often gives you access to flexible hours. Members can choose when to start and end their workday, allowing them to accommodate personal commitments and preferences. We all know the price of neglecting personal life in favor of work which can strain relationships with family, friends, and loved ones.
Conclusion In the words of Steve Jobs, “Innovation is the ability to see change as an opportunity – not a threat.” And that’s exactly what the new, modern shift in co-working represents – an innovative approach to the dead workplace models of yesterday. As we come through this new renaissance of co-working, let’s change our perception of the way we work.

Why Co-Working Space is in Demand Nowadays?
In today's rapidly evolving work environment, the demand for co-working spaces has surged, reflecting a significant shift in how people perceive and utilize workspaces. This change is driven by several factors, including the rise of remote work, the growing gig economy, and the increasing number of startups and freelancers. These spaces offer an innovative solution that meets the needs of modern professionals, providing a blend of flexibility, community, and cost-effectiveness that traditional office spaces often lack.
What is a Co-Working Space?
A co-working space is a shared working environment where individuals from different organizations, freelancers, remote workers, and small businesses can rent a desk or office space on a flexible basis. These spaces are typically equipped with all the necessary amenities, including high-speed internet, meeting rooms, office supplies, and sometimes even perks like coffee bars or fitness facilities. The concept behind co-working spaces is to create an environment that fosters productivity, creativity, and collaboration among its users, while also reducing the overhead costs associated with maintaining a traditional office.
Why Co-Working Spaces Are in Demand
Flexibility: One of the most significant advantages of co-working spaces is the flexibility they offer. Unlike traditional office leases, which often require long-term commitments, co-working spaces allow individuals and businesses to rent space on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. This flexibility is particularly appealing to startups, freelancers, and remote workers who may not require a permanent office.
Cost-Effectiveness: Co-working spaces are generally more affordable than renting a traditional office. They allow small businesses and freelancers to access high-quality office facilities without the burden of long-term leases and high overhead costs. The ability to scale up or down quickly also makes co-working spaces an attractive option for growing businesses.
Networking and Collaboration: Co-working spaces bring together professionals from various industries, creating a vibrant community where networking and collaboration happen naturally. This environment can lead to new business opportunities, partnerships, and ideas. The diversity of people in co-working spaces often sparks creativity and innovation, making them ideal for entrepreneurs and startups.
Work-Life Balance: Many co-working spaces are designed with work-life balance in mind, offering amenities such as wellness programs, lounges, and recreational activities. These features help reduce stress and increase productivity, contributing to a healthier work environment.
Access to Resources: Co-working spaces often provide access to resources that would be costly for an individual or small business to obtain independently. This includes high-speed internet, printers, meeting rooms, and sometimes even mentoring and educational programs. These resources can be invaluable for startups and freelancers who need professional-grade tools without the expense of purchasing them.
The Appeal of Co-Working Spaces in Dharamshala
Dharamshala, nestled in the picturesque Himalayas, is becoming a popular destination for remote workers, freelancers, and digital nomads. The combination of a serene environment, affordable living costs, and a growing community of like-minded professionals makes it an ideal location for co-working spaces.
Co-Working Space Dharamshala offers a unique blend of work and relaxation. The town's natural beauty, combined with modern co-working facilities, allows professionals to work efficiently while enjoying the tranquility of the mountains. The demand for co-working spaces in Dharamshala is also driven by the growing trend of "workcations," where individuals combine work with leisure in a scenic location.
Tumblr media
In Dharamshala, co-working spaces cater to the needs of diverse professionals, from freelancers and entrepreneurs to remote teams from larger companies. These spaces are equipped with all the necessary amenities, including high-speed internet, comfortable workstations, and meeting rooms, ensuring that professionals have everything they need to be productive.
Moreover, the community aspect of co-working spaces in Dharamshala is particularly appealing. Many professionals choose to work in Dharamshala not just for its natural beauty, but also for the opportunity to connect with others who share similar values and lifestyles. The co-working spaces here often organize events, workshops, and networking opportunities, fostering a sense of community and collaboration.
Conclusion
The demand for co-working spaces continues to rise as more professionals seek flexibility, community, and cost-effective solutions for their work environments. In locations like Dharamshala, co-working spaces offer the perfect blend of productivity and relaxation, attracting a growing number of remote workers, freelancers, and entrepreneurs. As the trend of remote work and digital nomadism grows, co-working spaces in Dharamshala are likely to become even more popular, offering professionals the ideal environment to work, connect, and thrive.

it should be illegal for my body to wake me up at 8am a little before, even!) on 1) a saturday, 2) a saturday AFTER having done Outside Activities 3) a saturday AFTER i have done outside activities AND stayed up until nearly 3am the night before
(i wasn't partying or anything i just had 2 cocacolas close together too late in the evening and i GOTTA remember that does in fact keep me awake because yes i have ADHD that reacts to stimulants opposite but apparently not the whole amount just like. a pretty solid window but a window nonetheless of how much caffeine i can actually have and when before it Does Its Job and wakes me up vs helping me feel sleepy. it's probably the autism tbh.)

zombie apocalypse au where you end up in a settlement and meet a cutiepie satoru. he's lived almost his entire life there – sure, he goes on runs every once in a while but you've been out there. it's different.
right?
the dark bags under your eyes have yet to fade but satoru has never heard you complain. he knows everybody gets a talk when they first come to this place; where they can get help, who they can talk to when if they have any problems. if you can't sleep. or eat. or if you still feel restless. it's understandable that the change from having to fight for your life on a daily basis to not even having to carry a gun with you is hard.
the food tastes weird when you're not starving and drinking water seems like a complete waste when you're not dying of thirst. the bed you sleep on is too soft, the sheets feel like silk and it makes your skin itch. it's off-putting.
and yet, not a single complaint has left your lips. you observe your surroundings while handing out pretty little smiles like they're candy. you say thank you and goodbye, you offer to help out with the chores that weren't even yours to begin with and you're willing to entertain the kids with silly jokes. it's an almost perfect mask.
but you're tense; your eyes are always scanning your environment despite the fact that you've been at the settlement for almost a week now. you stretch your lips to show your gratitude, but satoru sees the way your fist tightens whenever the room is too crowded. the way you pocket smaller snacks when you think that nobody is looking. the way you flinch at a faraway sound of a child's laugh.
satoru finds you utterly intriguing.
people come and go, but you... there's something different about you.
maybe it's the dark, murky look in your eyes whenever you're handling a knife. carving a piece of meat like it's something you do every day; your eyes are the only things that change – you give a small smile to the lady working next to you as a thank you for whatever kind of advice she just gave you. she pats the steak while laughing and satoru doesn't miss the way your lips twitch.
you lick the remnants of the meat that stick to your fingers, the liquid that dribbles down the side of your hand the second she turns around. and satoru can't look away.
but there's no obvious malice.
it's interesting.
satoru is no detective, but he's done his fair share of people looking. what else is there to do when you're locked behind big walls; people are interesting, especially now that the world has ended. they tick faster, they explode bigger. they shiver more, they cry more. the lies have more consequences. it's hard to trust others, it's hard to trust anybody at this point. but satoru's eyes are keen, more so than anyone else's there.
you're not some caged beast, you're no dog on a leash, but you're an animal nonetheless. satoru just doesn't know which one yet. which of the living things that reside in the woods is calm enough to get so close to other people? confident enough. arrogant enough.
which one of them is as curious as you are? as sly? which one of them knows how to hide their sharp teeth behind a warm smile? satoru promises to himself that he'll figure it out, no matter what it takes.
or maybe the 'something' is the way you handle yourself when things go south. you didn't look away when a walker that managed to slip in through the gates sank his teeth into a man's neck. when everybody else was in shock, their eyes set on the gory sight in front of them – you were the first to grab the closest thing resembling a weapon and to deal with it.
blood splattered all over your clean clothes, your hair, your face. but you paid it no mind. this is what you're used to, this is what's normal. taking a knife to the poor wailing man laying on the ground was nothing special either. you kneeled down beside him and looked him in the eyes as you did it.
desperate hands reached out for you as fear settled in his stomach. he grabbed onto the collar of your shirt and pulled you closer, pleas stumbling from his lips like a waterfall. but to you, he was dead already. there's no remorse, there's no guilt. you're not a killer, you're a survivor.
satoru's mind raced as he watched you work while all the other had turned away, their sobs barely reaching his ears. no remorse, no guilt.
he just thought the blood looked beautiful on you.
but you're keen, too.
you try not to pay him too much attention, you try not to look but you feel his curious eyes wherever you go. you hear him laugh and you see his big smiles. he likes to play with the kids and he likes to tease his peers. he seems to know just about everybody, mingling in their lives by acting like a cupid or just indulging in gossip like some high schooler.
but something rotten sprouts deep inside him as well.
there's blood on his hands and you know it the second your gazes meet from across the big dining hall. the corners of his eyes crinkle and his dimples make a show as he gives you a grin, sharp teeth shining right at you. he knows you and you know him.
a survivor always recognizes a survivor.
