I HAVE to see alo’s financials and business model…their influencer/celebrity marketing budget must be insane and I just realized they sell shoes and “wellness” products (including skincare/body care, vitamins, and candles) in addition to the active wear. I wonder if all the promo they do is paying off and people are actually buying or if they’re just super in debt and relying on marketing to pull them out of it eventually

THIS IS WHAT I’VE BEEN SAYING!!! WHO IS FUNDING THEM! I wish I had access to my old boss’ crunch base account because then I can see all of their VCs.

Alo aquired CodyApp (workout app) in 2017??? They had the Cody App Yoga instructors wearing Alo apparel in their content (smart).

Alo is owned by Color Image Apparel which is valued at $10 Billion!!!! Alo Yoga doubled its revenue from 2021-2022.

Alo is founded by Danny Harris and Marco DeGeorge.

My back is bendy but I lack strength… This is why I am going to commit myself to the Be Strong bundle from Kino MacGregor on the new AloMoves platform. i have tried some classes already and I like it. It is not too long, so that I can practice some contortion moves after.

Had an amazing time yesterday at the 6th Annual Pittsburgh Yoga Fest... Took seven (7) 1-hour classes between 7:00 and 4:00, ranging some pretty intense vinyasa flow classes early in the AM, a very grouding Forrest yoga class, a fantastic warrior series class and a slow flow recovery class to name a few. Mix in a workshop on Ayurvedic Lifestyle and an end of day Kirtan and it was a completely full and satifying day on the mat. It was thoroughly amazing to actively spend 9 hours being conscious of my breath, feeling my body move, working through some previous obstacles and to willfully hold the the same intention for the entire day. With thirty different classes and instructors to choose from, it was a veritable yogic smorgasbord, with something (or 7 somethings) for everyone. Even the rain in the morning was great... outdoors under tents, yoga on the grass, the rain just seemed to make things more grounding. A lot of people I know said "7 classes, are you crazy?"... I'll tell you a secret... If you learned to do yoga from @tonyshorton and @teddymcdonald (with a shout out to @dylanwerneryoga as well), then you can pretty much hang with anything and 7 classes is just a good day... Did the entirety of space tonight. Got my dad to do it with me. Definitely kicked his butt super hard. Wiped me out too. And I finally got to hear the hand pan! 😍 it was so magical! I loved it! I think I'm gonna try to get my parents into a more active practice, but not this active. This was far too hard. And my dad couldn't get over the acrobatic move that Dylan kept doing with his vinyasa. It was amusing. This is some tough love. _ After nearly a week and thousands of voices pleading for a peaceful resolution @aloyoga @codyapp is pushing full steam ahead with this train wreck of a lawsuit against @nolatrees Instead of dropping the lawsuit against Dana, they have filed a subpoena asking for all DMs involving me, Dana and all Alo Yoga ambassadors. In my opinion, this can only mean one thing—that they are not planning on dropping the lawsuit and instead doubling down on their egregious claims against Dana. _ I am so sad that they have ignored YOUR voices! But that only means we need to stand firm and ask again. We can’t swipe this under the rug and bury it under a mountain of posts.
