Maybe we did grow heart bones. But what if the only way of knowing you grew a heart bone is by feeling the agony caused by the break?

Somebody tell me if this is a bad take, or if my love for Bruce is causing my objective brain to glitch, but-- something about advertising Batman, a hero who's very popular for being good with children, for being NURTURING with children, a bad father kinda defeats the whole purpose of what he's supposed to represent.
Batman is a protector; He protects people the world (and especially law enforcement) does not care about. That's literally the point of him.
Something about marketing " you can be incredibly violent to people you care about! And Its fine, because you care about them even if you abuse them, and that's what matters!" towards people, but especially men and young boys, is REALLY fucked up to me.

Booktokers will recommend the most brain dead, worse than wattpad, misogynist racist homophonic terf rhetoric filled “book” that’s 97% sex scenes and then look you in the eye and tell you they Refuse to read classic lit cause it’s “boring”
And like you actually didn’t have to tell me that I figured it out myself

Maybe the best way to cope with the loss of the people we love is to find them in as many places and things as we possibly can. And in the off chance that the people we lose are still somehow able to hear us, maybe we should never stop talking to them.

Im gonna be honest, the colleen hoover hate is just so old. I'm not gonna read her books and i never will because the content doesn't appeal to me, but ive watched the essays. I've sat and listened to 4+ hours of "omg CRING" on youtube. I get it. I understand. But you have GOT to find some fresh material, I'm so serious.
Has no one ever heard the phrase no publicity is bad publicity? The only thing this accomplishes is enticing people who think "it cant really be that bad" who go out and buy a copy. An dollar spent in disbelief is the same as a dollar spent by an earnest fan and at the end of the day she just has two fucking dollars.
Maybe she is a shitty writer idc but the majority of this videos boil down to "CoHo bad because she wrote a romance dynamic i think is weird and gross" and its like bro then don't fucking read it. Im serious. Your little rants are not going to stop her from writing her books and its not gonna stop the people who do like to read them from buying them. At a certain point you gotta ask yourself if reading hours of exhausting material is worth your 2 hour outrage video where you go in depth about how Weird and Bad colleen hoover is. Would you not rather spend your day doing something you actually enjoy?
At the end of the day colleen hoover writes weird books and that's just like, fine. Trust me, there are enough videos out there explaining why her writing is toxic. You can out the video camera down. It's okay. Take my hand. Try saying something beautiful and true.
