Watching a video on Supergirl Woman of Tomorrow and they mention that Supergirl is potentially stronger or at least more resilient than Superman, and they wonder if it’s because she grew up on Krypton and it affected her physiology; and I think it be funny if it were just that Kara has actually experienced pain before

Newest interview with Joshua Williamson (via ComicPop Returns) was as boring as they always are. A lot of jumping from subject to subject without finishing one and over all not many new information about Batman and Robin run. Few things that were confirmed, mentioned or said again ( as from previous interviews):

-book will focus on Batman and Robin but also on Bruce and Damian (Joshua mentioned that he wants to have at least one unmasked moment in every issue)

-Its possible that he will write annual about them just in civilian

-first 4 issues are like a pilot arc, then 2 issue mini arcs

-at one point when Bruce wants Damian to go back to school Damian says "if you can give me a good reason to go back to school, I will do it". And there will be the reason. It's will be in 3th-4th issue

- what's the deal with shush? Williamson loves Hush (the book), they memed about female version of Hush and boom. She will have a major role in issue 2 or more like introduction. Lot of red herring about who she is.

-Damian will do a lot of Damian stuff and Robin stuff.

-i think they were talking about Tim but said Damian's name. It was about Tim having some kind of special driving licence at 15 because his father was handicap or so. That's where they mentioned Damian's age at 15 but they were thinking about Timmy boy (also they mentioned Tim's car Red Bird)

-and now they started talking about other stuff

-williamson mentioned that Damian is his favourite Robin but before that Tim was his number one

-he also loves Tomasi writing Damian and kinda throw some shade at teen titans Damian (agree very much Mr Josh)

-he doesn't enjoy much when robin is in Batman or Superman books when robin is MC unless it's some weird short story without much importance

- ok back to Batman and Robin

-short arcs so it can be easier for new readers

-batman and Damian will smile (and frown ofc)

-"it's Batman, of course he is crazy"

- they are happy together as batman and Robin, and working towards being happy as father and son

- Joshua cut down a fragment where Bruce says he trusts Damian because it was covered before. In my opinion it's a shame he removed it

- Williamson says that he wants to move their story forward, so a lot of joy and limited angst

-"it's like bring your son to work" funny but yeah

- besides robinmobile there will be batmobile

-no confirmation about any returning characters (like Flatline or Connor's green Arrow but I think it was mentioned in previous interview)

-Simone is very talented and we love his art

Currently watching: Mostly random YouTube stuff... really gotten into ComicPop and their Back Issues series, a lot of fun if you're into weird/ interesting comic book stories

Currently reading: oh this is gonna be boring compared to most... "CRISC Review Manual", "Alice and Bob Learn Application Security", "Learning Python" (can you tell I am trying to improve my standing at work lol) and then for fun I just picked up "As the Falcon Flies" (the new Hardy Boys book) and am working my way through "Hawkeye: My Life as a Weapon" (again).

ComicPop’s critique and analysis essentially only amounts to them using vacant buzzwords in an attempt to sound smart and educated. when in reality their takes constantly amount to “how EPIC was this comic and if there’s too much talking it’s LAME”

read a prose. the newspaper. a fucking poem. a restaurant menu that doesn’t contain mostly just the pictures of the meals. i don’t care. it’s just so depressing to see that this era of faux-criticism did not die in 2010’s after the influx of nostalgia critic types. holy guacamole!
