Coocoo is a very fun word, but also pretty outdated and ableist.

I propose we keep the word around by instead using it to mean something along the lines of "down bad", or otherwise disproportionately horny for the context. You may think of it in the sense of saying, "I get my cootchie out forthwith when Shrek is onscreen."

"I'm coocoo for Shrek."

If we are successful at changing over to this new meaning and erasing the old meaning, future generations will be unaware of the previous ableist usage, thereby making the old cocopuffs commercials very funny in hindsight.
