First of all, let's make it clear - this blog is my home. You're not a "customer" and you're not "always right", you are a guest. If you don't like anything that happens here, just leave, scroll away or block. I will not change anything just because you don't like it.

Can I use your work for a profile picture/wallpaper on my device? Can I print your stuff?

You can take my work for personal use if you don't get any profit from it. If it's online - credit me.

Can I dub/translate your comics?

Yes but with few conditions.

1. You credit me as an original creator. If it's a video you put the credits in the video, not in the description. If it's a post you put them in the post itself, not in the comments.

2. You do not put your watermark on my work/do not erase my watermark. You also don't colour it/don't "fix" it. It's my work and my work alone.

3. You do not change the dialogue/add phrases that weren't said by the characters. Again, it is my work, it's my interpretation and I will not tolerate you taking my work and changing it to your liking.

4. If you want to profit from my work - you don't have my permission.

5. You take down videos/posts with my work if I ask you to.

If any of these don't suit you - you don't have my permission.

Can I make an AI bot of your character?

Hard no. Roleplay bots are almost always using public fanfiction without the consent of the authors, not paying for their hard work but using it for profit, it's theft and I'm not going to contribute to that. I'm already considering removing my own bots from Character AI, as ch.ai still doesn't tell the public how they're training their bots so we'll see about that.

Anything that is absolutely off the table when sending an ask?

- Please don't vent to me. I'm not a professional phycologist and I never agreed to play the role of one. I also avoid questions like "I had a bad day, can you draw[ ]?" because after them my inbox becomes a venting place. Please seek professional help if you feel like every day is worse than the previous.

- Please do not send me anything NS///FW. As much as I can support suggestive content, explicit stuff will be immediately deleted and if you make me uncomfortable I probably will block you. No hard feelings but Tumblr is an SFW place for me. If you see me reblog something not SFW, it was probably made by my friend or with previous discussion and proper mature labels for everything.

Can I send you a DM, not an ask?

After some not-very-pleasant experiences that made me uncomfortable, I closed my DM's for everyone except my mutuals. But you're still free to send me asks about anything(within reasonable limits ofc).

Can I write a fic based on your art? Can I use your ideas in my works?

About ideas - ask first. I can get protective over one idea but completely don't care about the other one. If I said yes, credit me as an original source.

Can I draw a fanart/write you a fic?

Of course!! I'm absolutely happy to see anything! Also please tag me when you're done. If it's one of my au's - use specific tags for fanart so even if dumb Tumblr doesn't send me your tag, I will eventually bump into it browsing the tag!<3 (you can also tag me again if you think I didn't see your fan work, I absolutely don't mind!!) Also, feel free to drop an ask with a link too!

Can I tag you in other stuff?

As I already said you can absolutely tag me for any type of fan content(it doesn't even need to be yours). Memes are fine too, just don't do it every day alright?

Why don’t you answer my ask?

It can be one of these reasons:

1. I want to answer your ask with an art piece/comic. It takes time.

2. Your question contains spoilers so I'm keeping it for later when the truth can be revealed =]

3. I'm busy. Yeah.

4. I've already answered something similar/I don't want to answer your question so your ask got deleted.

When will you continue working on [insert whatever]?

When I can. I'm not pausing my things just to spite you. Most of the time I'm just busy or I simply don't have the energy to do anything. To everyone who says stuff like "oh well we've been waiting for a few months already!!" - I'm not here to entertain you. I'm here to have fun and share it with other people and you're currently ruining it. I will block anyone who is doing this continuously.

Can you draw my characters?

For free? No, I don't accept requests like that. You can commission me though. When my commissions are open of course. I will open DMs when it happens.

What content are you okay/not okay with?

Admiring of any of these in real life: terrorism, racism, rape, war, sexism, misogyny, transphobia, homo/queerphobia, pedophilia, sex trafficking, mental illnesses. If the content tries to show how terrible these things are I am mostly okay with it.

Is there anything I should watch out for on your page?

Dark themes, suggestive themes, and sometimes negative ones. I'm not afraid to draw violence, blood and gore. Dark humour. In general, I don't recommend anyone who's under 16 to be here but it's always your responsibility for what you're about to see.

In your bio, it says russians DNI? Is it about every russian or only those who support the war?

I don't care if you're a good russian or not, I don't care about your opinions and worldview. I don't want you in here. I have no time nor desire to try and understand how good you are. As a Ukrainian, I have all the right to tell all russians and people who admire anything connected to them to go fuck yourself. It's my safe place and I don't feel safe with zz's in it. Do you feel like I'm being "too categorical"? Don't make it my problem and leave. End of conversation.

What is your stance on reposting your artwork/fics?

The only cases when I allow reposting are dubs/translations with credits and all the other rules that I mentioned earlier. In other cases, no, do not repost my artwork. Doesn’t matter if you credit, I said no.

I post on Tumblr and Tiktok, my nickname always contains "xitsen" in it. You also could possibly see the dubs of my stuff on YouTube, as I allow these. Please send me an ask with a link to the repost if it's somewhere else. I will try to solve the situation myself.

For art pieces 90% of the time it's Paint Tool Sai 2, sometimes Photoshop and Krita. For animations, it's rather Toon Boom Premium or Krita.

My tablet is fucking 6 years old, Wacom something. They don't sell these anymore so I couldn't even find the model lmao.

Brushes - standard SAI brushes, watercolour for shading and brush for line art. If it's textured I use my custom one, you can create it yourself if you use SAI.

It's an inside joke that suddenly became bigger than we expected. A silly, a funny, a goofy. It's not slut shaming if you thought it was. I love to joke about characters being whores in the most affectionate and lighthearted way possible even when the character clearly has no bitches. It even doesn't need to be sexual. i wanted to ask if its okay to use your art as pfps with proper credit?

Ok, me and n1cot3n (my dyslexia thought the name was Nicole, lol) have talked about this over insta, cause I missed this ask here on tumblr... So this is mostly for other people wanting to use my art for stuff.

There's like a 95% chance I will allow you to use my art as long as you:

1. Ask for permission and tell me what you want to use it for. Message/DM me, don't do this on an ask cause I sometimes don't get notified about asks.

2. Give me propper credit. N1co for excample wrote "pfp julia_jck_" on their insta bio. If it's for a post, I want the creddit to be the first thing you write on the post description. Doing an @ is even better.

Posting this here bc I’ve seen some people share or regurgitate ideas/information I’ve come up with or discovered without crediting me and I’ve yet to see anyone else discuss this. I did share this on Twitter shortly after discovering it but I’ve since deactivated my Twitter, though if necessary I can reactivate to show the original post.

A week or so ago, I was reading the official Targaryen family tree on HBO’s Hotd website and came across something I found interesting—in every description/bio where a COUPLE’S children are mentioned, the writers of these bios have used the words “have/has/had” except for both Helaena and Aegon’s bios which state that they “share” children.

Share and have in this context (or any tbh) are not synonymous, therefore I find it noteworthy that their bios are written this way. It could be absolutely nothing, it could be a hidden clue as shows and films have oftentimes left for audiences to uncover. Either way, I choose to believe this could be an indicator that Helaena’s children are not Aegon’s but are, in fact, Aemond’s. And that she and Aegon merely “share” the children in the legal sense.

I will also point out that “share” is also used to describe Rhaenyra’s relationship with Harwin Strong and that Rhaenys, Aemma, Laena, and Jaehaerys’ bios do not describe their children under the same circumstances, instead simply stating that they “mothered/fathered” them or are a “mother/father of” said children.

Again, only Helaena and Aegon’s supposed children are described in this manner.

Hello! I found your fantastic Picrew Hades Bond Forged icon creator many months ago and made my girlfriend one (we both LOVE hades!). She immediately used it as her pfp on everything! Suffice to say she liked it as much as I hoped she would :) Fast forward to the other day and she had decided she wanted to make a youtube channel, using the picrew pfp I used your creator to make as the avatar for her channel! She asked me if I could make a few more for different expressions and whatnot (as avatars for YT videos often have: sighs, frowns etc). I thought it would be cute and a good idea so I hunted down your generator again, in spite of me forgetting what picrew was called XD I found it and was greeted with the site's reminder to check the usage license/terms per creator thing. Foolishly, it had never occurred to me that there would be usage stuff to do with a free image generator online, though it definitely makes sense (I've never used picrew before outside of your one!). Art theft and similar stuff is a serious issue these days and I want no part of contributing to it, so I wanted to make sure everything I wanted to do was kosher. I saw you had put your contact details for questions about stream elements and I felt it necessary to ask you a few questions about how I/we may use the pfp, which is why I'm here! Only after I had sent a version of this message to your twitter had I seen you had moved to Bluesky, and I wasn't really keen on making an account for that (if its even possible with their invite only system), so I made a tumblr instead, which is why you may see this account is new. I also don't know how tumblr works with messages because apparently I could only message you after following you but also only 48h after following you? Its quite confusing, but this should also be fine I think? Either way I just have a few questions, namely: Would her use of the picture for her youtube avatar count as commercial usage for you? Would you be comfortable with us using the avatar I made with your creator and the few more I would intend on making to use for her channel? I had no idea what to call this but I told @girlfromthecrypt I would do it and here I am! Here's some questions I answered.

1) What motivates you to write?

I always ideas knocking around in my head and I figure it's better to do something with them. Plus people seem to generally like what I read when they read it, and say nice things to me, and then I get warm fuzzies.

2) A line/short snippet of your writing that you are most proud/happy of. If not maybe share a line of someone else's work you love (just please credit them)

Okay, so I'm probably not going to pursue this WIP anymore, but I really loved this scene.

Context #1: if Ria holds a personal object belonging to someone while she plays music, she can see a bit of their future.

Context #2: there has been an "accident" during a performance of the circus, and Lucy has fallen a great distance to the ring floor. RIa, her best friend, tells May, her girlfriend, to go with her when they take her to the hospital. Ria foresaw this but couldn't convince anyone to do anything any differently that night.

“You should go with them,” I whispered. She looked down at me. “Do you think so?” “She’ll need you when she wakes up.” “She’ll wake up then? Can you promise me that?” “I…” I wanted to lie to her, to tell her that I had seen another vision where Lucy woke up the following morning, right as rain. But I couldn’t do that to her. May pulled one of her rings off her middle finger. “Take this,” she said, holding it out to me. “If I go with her, I’ll be there when she wakes up. So you’ll be able to see it. You come to the hospital tomorrow and you tell me.” I pressed the ring back into her hand. “May, what if… what if she doesn’t? Do you want to know that in advance? I don’t. There are some things I don’t use my power for.”

I don't know if it necessarily came across here but May loves Lucy so so much. Sometimes I think I was more invested in Lucy and May than I was in Ria and Alex (y'know, the main characters).

3) Which OC makes you smile every time you think/talk about them and what are they like?

Going for a twofer here, Max and Clara from my Drosselmeier Industries series. They're just really natural and easy with each other, and their banter is excellent (if I do say so myself).

4) What process of writing do you enjoy the most?

Revisions and edits! I actually really struggle to get the first draft out a lot of the time. #PantserProblems. But once I have a rough idea and I'm shining it up, I thrive.

5) What part of writing do you think you are the best at? (Yes stroke your own ego it's okay)

Characters by a mile. I always get feedback that I need to flesh out my descriptions and worlds more. It's something that's led me to concentrating my stories mainly in the real world, though it's always the real world with some sort of twist.

6) What is something in the writeblr community is most enjoyable?

I'm loving the vast creativity and also the raw talent! I read a WIP excerpt and I'm like "Wow, I must follow that person" and then I read their bio and they're 14? No way was I writing that well when I was 14! (I just turned 34; I feel like I am an old lady of writeblr xD)

7) A writing tool/device you use that helps you with writing? (It could be speech to text, a writing program etc)

Scrivener is always good for longer works. I also recommend a text-to-speech program (I use a free one called Balabolka) for helping pick up typos or clunky passages.

8) A piece of worldbuilding that you like in your own story? (It could be the magic system, a particular place in the story, a law etc)

I love the virtual reality system Max and Clara play. The Veritas is so realistic that if your character trips over something, you feel the pull in your stomach like you're falling.

I have no idea if it's realistic or not, as I have played surprisingly little VR for someone who writes about it. I did do a VR escape room once. That was fun!

9) What piece of advice would you say to encourage others to write if they are having a rough patch?

Having been through many a rough patch myself, I promise you will come out the other side!

At one point a couple of years ago, I was planning on entirely throwing in the towel. I couldn't see a way forward with the WIP I was working on, and I thought maybe it was better to ditch the whole thing.

You have to ride the wave. After that rough patch, I went on to recraft that story into one of my best pieces.

My Chaotic planner, I started using it yesterday, but I've been decorating it all last month. Got some planner pages on Etsy (ObsidianSirenShop) and printed them on my own designed background, don't know if I can share pics of those so I'm not gonna, but the shop is credited above. I go by Bliss and I’m now very excited to start my writing journey here on Tumblr!

A few things about me;

• I’m a young adult, I like to write more angst/suggestive content than smut BUT that doesn’t mean I won’t write things meant for an 18+ audience. I do write “happy” or fluffy stories but I do enjoy drama so more than likely I will include triggering themes in my writings. However, I will make sure to include the proper warnings in the descriptions.

• My pronouns are she/her

• I heavily advocate for the betterment and uplifting of black women- considering I am one myself. With that being said, if I write something that is not reader insert then the OC will likely be a black woman unless specified otherwise. Please refer to this post to understand why I made this decision and why it is important to me.

• Again, I plan to focus on reader insert stories so the reader will be gender neutral unless specified otherwise (as stated before, reader or OC will be specified as a black woman OR afab reader/OC if not gn)

• I want this blog to be a place where absolutely everyone can come and read, laugh, and talk to me. I really do love interacting with ppl (even though I am kinda scared of people). Not only do I want to come on this app to write, better my writing, and just enjoy myself- I also want to make friends 🤗

• I love me some Stray Kids but I’m very open to expanding my horizon and getting into more Kpop groups (Skz were my first and are the only group I hardcore stan as of right now) . So if there is anyone I should look into- please let me know!

• I will absolutely take requests and constructive criticism. Again, my goal is to not only have fun with this but to improve my writing.

• If you decide to follow me, please have some indication that your page is not a bot account. It would be something so little as an age indicator in your bio or something along those lines! Of course I’m not trying to tell you what to do with your page but any suspicious accounts will be blocked.

• I am quick with a block button, if for whatever reason you don’t like what I write….Leave. Any racism, homophobia, ableism, (etc), overall bullying and/or spreading of bad energy will lead me to block you.

• DO NOT steal my work. This includes taking them to translate(and reposting it), and reposting on other platforms (such as Wattpad or a03). I take pride in my stories and I do not consent to anyone doing anything with them without the proper credit given.

• Lastly, I’d really appreciate it if my readers would interact with my work. It really boosts my confidence so a simple repost or nice lil comment is cool. Of course, you don’t have to do that though.

Tagging system is in the works, I have a few running tags but they're not very consistent. If you want me to tag something, ask me and I will either tag it or tell you that I won't.

# no plaintext : (inconsistent) for posts with cursive, zalgo, more than a few words in all caps or colour, leetspeak, heavy typing quirks, or any other form of text that may not be easily readable or screenreader friendly, and that don't have a plaintext version included

# flashing : (inconsistent) for flashing lights

# eyestrain : (inconsistent) for stuff that seems eyestrain-y

note: may add a tag for stuff that isn't real but is more of a bit that doesn't fall into typical unreality triggers - think promotional posts for things that don't exist, onion headlines, and the like. The closest i have right now is # satire but that doesn't feel quite right for everything in this category.
