Im about to get controversial.
Out of chrollo, illumi and hisoka, hisoka is canonically the least likely to flirt to get anything he wants, if at all.
A lot of people think he's a natural flirt but I fear I couldn't have disagreed more. He only "flirted" a single time and that was solely to piss off machi, knowing she'd never agree. Hot take? He would've never asked if he knew she'd agree.
Also, bro's the biggest humanphobe in the anime. He keeps his distance from everyone. The only human physical contact he ever made was through fighting people. (If you're a person thats interested in seeing more evidence, I have an entire long thread about it on twitter that I do plan on posting here soon)
so u cannot give me 1 reason for hisoka to flirt with someone at a random bar but chrollo and illumi? i can think of a few.
chrollo, he already canonically flirts to get what he wants. straight up goes on dates gets a suit and shit. he has no reputation among the general public that hes concerned of that isnt the spider. Illumi? He's a manipulator. I HIGHLY doubt he never flirted to get something in his life from people who are too easy to win over. He's someone that wouldn't care what people think of him. He's also anonymous. People have no idea who tf he is anyways. If it affected the zoldyck reputation? Thats a different story.
Hisoka? he would fucking NEVER. Him specifically? HE HAS A REPUTATION. And whats that reputation? That hes an absolute disgusting freak that no one should dare to approach. He kills people. He fights live and makes sure the audience is always disgusted and weirded out by his actions and performances. You look at him and you should immediately look away and pray he hasn't seen you.
So riddle me this. If his entire shtick is making sure everyones afraid of him and avoids him, then why the hell would he get himself a reputation that makes him approachable????
Why would he get himself a reputation that makes you, as a person who only ever heard of him picking people up, want to approach him.
On top of that, I just.. don't see him picking random people up..??? random weaklings that dont even know nen????? he literally treats them like trash that inconveniences his time. You're saying he'd EVER give them the privilege of sleeping with him???
And then you'd say, oh so he'd sleep with strong people! HERES THE THING. Why would he sleep with them..... when he can fight them. Him getting off from fighting comes NOWHERE to actual sex. What people don't understand is that he gets off to killing people and seeing them crumble in front of him when they realize theyre going to die. Torturing people to death. What's... that got to do with like. yknow. actual sex bro 😭😭😭😭😭😭
this turned into a huge rant probably but do you know how genuinely depressing it is seeing a unique character like hisoka that gains lust through FIGHTING and KILLING reduced to. sex addict in fics. Like. be so fucking serious right now. He called himself a FIGHT ADDICT in the manga. Can I see more of him actually spending his time killing and fighting people instead of whatever the hell bros doing with a random npc.
Anyways this is also why I hc him as asexual/demisexual NEXTTTT

Sometimes I think about ATSV Pavitr's design, and I just. man thought an integral part of his costume is to have his hair out. like it's just there, a full mane of hair, perfectly styled with 0 effort, out in the sunshine for all to see.
He's so full of himself, to think that his hair is an important aspect of his presentation. Narcissus-level of self-love. You know I'm right, that the top portion of his mask is open so that his ego can just ooze directly out of his brain to moisturise his scalp and oil his hair

i hate having four fucking ads on a 20-minute podcast episode.
(it's a rant, enjoy.)
no, i don't want to get your shitting plus subscription, i don't even pay for 95% of the films and shows i watch online. stop fucking begging for patrons, it's not our problem you want to do this full-time. good for you if you do it but it's not somehow our duty to get you there just because you're a creator. not everyone can afford 60 fucking subscriptions. instead of people getting the minimum to at least get by as a basic human right, i bet like 85% of creatives online are making elite clubs on patreon and shit for those who have spare money. i get that you need it, but so many people (especially PDA neurodivergents) are extremely put off by being asked to pay and won't do it (like me) just because of that. i've encountered art that had the option to pay without requiring it, and I did. because they deserved it anyway, and they understood the classism and capitalism ingrained in the internet creative culture and that a lot of people don't have the means to become members of the club. i'm planning on starting a podcast, been wanting to publish fiction in paper since i was a kid, and i still want to make all that 100% free with the option of payment, because i believe that knowledge, stories and art should be accessible to anyone, regardless of financial situation (what do you think libraries are for, hm?????). when it's not, that's when elitism starts to rise and i'm just too tired for that shit. the empty snobbery culture around modern art alone is driving me insane.
Starkid has been recording their performances for years and guess what - they're massive, they sell out, people attend their live plays for the experience, but those who can't are still able to be a part of the fandom (as opposed to broadway musicals that get shared through bootlegs, hm) and they don't expect their fans to be responsible for their means of living. people who want to see a live performance, to buy your book in a bookshop professionally bound and keep it, to thank you for making your day by buying you a coffee will do so of their own free will. don't beg them to pay for your groceries if you made the choice to put your art out there. it's the system that is responsible for taking care of your basic needs, not your fans.

I've seen quite a few times over the years people make fun of Hannibal's promos, and I see the point like, the early procedural ones really are a laugh lmao can't find the others right but look at this. hysterical
But some of the video promos were great! Like the s2 trailer with the "Stand by Me" cover was pretty good...
The puppeteer one was pretty great too:
This teaser for s3 was insane when it was released, even if it's a bit too apocalyptic:
and the "Pure Imagination" official trailer for s3 was also dear to me:
but what I mean to say is... is current Hannibal fandom aware of the Korean AXN official promos? If not, do yourself a favor and watch till the end:

If you could relive any memory of your past, what would it be?
FASCINATING question thank you!! i am interpreting this as reliving a moment for the first time, experiencing something for the first time, and not going back in time to change a moment in the past
(hopefully that is the correct interpretation lol)
so one moment to relive... the first thing that comes to mind is the classic wish to forget one piece of media so you can experience it for the first time again, and since i'm deep in the animanga pit i'm defaulting to thinking about what series i would want to experience again like it was brand new
first instinct is hpmi but honestly i don't think that's true, i still love it every bit as much as i loved it on day one (more, in fact) so i don't think forgetting it all and starting anew would bring any greater enjoyment
so it comes down to... i would either want to relive my first time experiencing samurai flamenco or showa genroku rakugo shinju (descending stories)
for samumenco it's because i went in completely blind, binged the whole series in one sitting (yes both cours), and loved it. i had no idea what to expect so all the twists and turns were so fresh and exhilarating to me. i still love it on rewatches, but that experience of knowing nothing and just being taken for a ride was amazing
for descending stories it's just flat out the best anime i've ever seen, it moved me so deeply, it was perfect in its craft and its delivery, i cannot praise it highly enough. i can't even bring myself to rewatch it very often because it just completely destroys me. i don't think there's a "shock! factor" like there is in samumenco, like i think it's just as powerful of a series even if you go in knowing the whole story. but it was, in a word, life-changing and i wouldn't say no to experiencing that fresh again
(a third runner-up a series i might like to watch for the first time again is tatami galaxy, because i first watched it back before asnm was my favorite voice actor. i wasn't even deep into the voice actor pit at that point, and i distinctly remember thinking "WOW no idea who this guy is but he's really talented" lol. lmao even. oh how little i knew. so i kind of wonder how much more !!! i would have been if i'd watched it for the first time while already being an enormous asnm fan)
ok so now i've fully just bastardized the question to be "what anime would you want to experience for the first time again" lol clearly i have too much of a one track mind but. it is what it is
thank you for the ask! (ノ´ヮ`)ノ*: ・゚
