Blake: (stops in the middle of the store) Yang?
Yang: Yes?
Blake: Dearest?
Yang: Yes, Blake?
Blake: Love of my life and fire that illuminates my darkness?
Yang: What do you want? If not want, what do you need?
Blake: I need a straight moment.
Yang: A straight-? (follows Blake's line of sight) Ah, got it. Have at it, babe.
Blake: (kisses Yang passionately in the middle of the store) Thank you!
Blake: (sprints over to the bookshelf where Ninja's of Love 2 is being sold with the official movie cover showing the chiseled chest and abs of the samurai warrior, holding an almost fully naked ninja woman)
Yang: (blinks) Bisexuals.

So, continuing on with the trend of me rewatching power rangers, ninja storm has been an interesting experience but the best episode so far has been when Blake and Hunter are introduced and Dustin immediately blue screens with gay panic as these two dirt bike riding, competent hotties inviting him to ride with them around the track.
Mans is stuttering and gaping openly at them the minute their helmets are off and barely keeping his wits to him as he blabs out questions.
Little Adhd disaster bisexual.
I love him, thanks.

people really have an issue with yang not being a lesbian playgirl? she had abandonment issues and a tragic family background, like what made some of you think she ever prioritized her romantic life (flirt/flings/love alike) in any way? i think she's very clearly terrified of all that, and maybe some people have deviated too much from canon or just projected too much onto her, honestly.
that damned wink at random guys early on has done irreparable damage to this fandom, in that, it convinced everyone of a different hc:
• "oh she's bi/pan/het"
• "oh she has hetero-normativity and is a lesbian"
• "oh she's just a player and a flirt"
Turns out everyone is wrong and she's neither of these things because her disaster ass could not get close to a man OR girl due to her personal issues, she hasn't even paid attention to who she could like. blake is the only person she's ever liked, trusted and loved, and that only happened because she was "forced" so close to her when they became partners that she couldn't ignore the feelings!
like i think the point is that, being all confident in yourself and stuff doesn't mean you got it all figured out, and it shows when despite being this huge cocky personality...you don't flirt once with someone that isn't blake ???? come on it was cristal clear that she had no interest in flirting or dating if it wasn't blake. she didn't even flirt back (sarcastically) at neon in V3 !!! like if she was truly a flirt that would have been the perfect chance to respond.
this is why that scene with the guys early on is so random, like completely out of character to me. it would be interesting to see how crwby would comment on that line nowadays, bc my impression is that the scene was a weak attempt at tricking the audience into thinking she's a party girl and then show you later that she's actually "more than meets the eye".
anyways rant over

Fic Idea Teen Wolf
Traveling Nurse AU
The Hale fire happened but with only one death (an elderly relative). Kate's crimes starting with Derek get revealed. She goes to prison. The Argent matriarch expelled her from the Argent line, using magic that would prevent any future kids of Kate's to be considered Agents ever. Gerrard is still angry.
Still Derek was guilt ridden and withdrew from everything. Immediately graduating high school (he refused to walk) he left moving to Alaska. He attended college and got a degree in graphic and web design.
Now closing in on thirty Derek hasn't been back to California in over ten years. He makes a living doing designs from his home. That pays the bills to allow him to write. He writes science fiction detective stories under a penname.
In this universe Claudia Stilinski was a nurse before she got sick. Stiles befriended the nurses taking care of his mom since he spent the most time there with his mom, since his Dad was always working. A butterfly flapped it's wings and Stiles doesn't dream of going into law enforcement but becoming a nurse.
Since kindergarten he has always had a first aid kit in his backpack. It adds an inhaler after becoming friends with Scott. He gets into a few fights because a boy should want to be a doctor not a nurse. Until one day Cora Hale steps in and stops the bully. She ends up making them an odd trio.
Gerrard, Alphas and Jennifer Blake still tries pulling things when they are in high school. Secrets are revealed. Scott still gets bit. With an intact Hale pack most of them make it to graduation alive.
After the last several years of chaos college felt like a dream for the most part. After Stiles gets his RN license he decides he wants to travel and not settle down in Beacon Hills yet. And for the next several years he works all over the US and just going back home for his Dad's birthday.
When Cora finds out Stiles is going to be in the same town as Derek she asks him to keep an out for her disaster bi buddy. (She might be trying to matchmake a little by dropping that information)
Derek finds Stiles Stilinski annoying and obnoxious but he also keeps hanging out with him. Stiles finds Derek grumpy and hot. Derek can turn into a full wolf, something that any wolf can do with a lot of mediation.
Stiles tried petting him the first time he saw the wolf form. Derek growled in annoyance.
Group chat with Stiles, Cora and Scott-
Stiles: look it's Derek
Tumblr media
Scott: but he is a wolf
Stiles: Use your imagination, dude!
Cora: 😂 I still can't believe you tried to pet him.

This is my RWBY Hot Take:
BB ended up being canon because of fandom and VAs pushing for it. Which, is not necessarilly a bad thing, but it is when you can ACTUALLY tell. And I think that´s the problem.
Now, RWBY has always been on the sights of Yuri and Queer fandom, which are a both a force to be reckoned with whenever people want to admit it or not. This shouldn´t be surprising considering that they showcased not one, not two, not three, but FOUR main characters with very unique desing, appeal and personality. OF COURSE the show was gonna attract lesbian women like honey attracts flies XD
At the same time however, RWBY kinda wanted to fall into very classic old tropes of anime, hence why even 10 years later Ruby has still to show attraction to somebody, like a proper shounen jump character, with some twists every now and then. Which is why you can´t convince me that Sun wasn´t put there to be Blake´s love interest, but the fandom had already taken into the main characters hooking p between them and just wouldn´t move from there.
Proof of that is that even after 10 years of absolute 0 development, White Rose is still one of the biggest ships out there, receiving new art almost daily by, you guessed, lot of tumblr queer (which seems to be in abundance, maybe there´s a correlation? Beats me). Now, this isn´t me throwing shade over WR, they DID have some very good base and chemistry, but people rationalizing that Weiss MUST be bi or even yet, a Compulsory Het (despite absolute 0 evidence that´s even a thing in Remant) just doesn´t paint a very positive figure of the fandom.
What I´m trying to say with this? Well, if a fandom can be THAT obssesed with queer characters (Ask CanonSeeker about it if you don´t believe me) and attract an audience who clearly has an obsession with them either because they just want to see girls kissing (lot of pervs around, the NSFW reddit sub has MORE subs than the main one :/ ) or because they want to see their representation/projection/whatever and see absolute no issue with the crumbs and the bad things RT did some of its queer workers (like Kdin)... who is there not to say that this couple, (or any other even!) is not fanservice?
People want to see what they want to see, and will resort to all kind of emotional pitfalls to rationalize their preference or how "it was always meant to be".
No, having a base as friends is not enough. Yes Nora, people can be friends, and sometimes it´s better if they remain that way, as you have discovered. You can´t have a character show attraction that is slowly being reciporcated for seven years only to drop itone day and say "nah, it was never about it" and pretend the fandom who is not just looking for validation and seeing hot girls make out bdon´t end up scratching their heads in confusion. That´s just now how it works. SPECIALLY when lot of people were dropping after the disaster that was Vol.5
Which is another reason that it feels like the writers just caved:
They realised they were not going anywhere with BlackSun and with the WF, so they just removed it out of the equation and pretend it never existed. They needed to keep their fans interested, and while at it, some Rainbow Capitalism to get some more attention. People called it forced because morons are "ugh, lesbians!" (Not forgetting that some people on both sides of the equation just can´t get that Bi people exist) while the reason can be simply that RT can´t write romance for shit, and the relationship feels more like they just wanted to speedrun to make up for 6 seasons where they still had plausible deniability (forgetting that they just put that line on the sky dropping Sun...) while at the same time not outright confirming until the last minute.
So, the whole point of this rant is: BB is fanservice? Yes.
But it´s the BAD fanservice. The kind of you can TELL they are caving to the fandom for attention, and doing so in a kind of unnatural way, that they try too hard to give crumsb ("Yeah... Ruby.") and have to confess in a magical plot device that feels like taken out of a fanfic, so instead of "this is the natural progression our characters took" feels more like "Yaaaaaaas, we gave the fanatics what they wanted, aren´t we great!? Another "cultural" victory, yay, so now give us the money so we can greenlight Vol 10!"
So, TL:DR - If you are going to give fanservice, try at least to make it FEEL natural, or don´t give it at all. If you ar unsure, get a good producer, a guy whose sole job is to say NO.
This time I think I’m just going to primarily be the bridge that allows people see and respond to this with their own opinions cause if I’m being honest, it feels like you got into the weeds a little and I couldn’t follow. Please be civil in comments.
As for my personal opinions about BB in general i will reiterate what I’ve thought for the past few years now. The ship itself is fine but any cultural impact it would’ve had was lost when you wait so long that Disney beat you to showing a lgbt kiss scene. I think RT did course correction when seeing its popularity which isn’t in itself bad at all, but they just sucked at it.
The two roads people have to walk is thinking BB was planned from the start or added later due to popularity. If you think the first one, then face the fact RT handled it very poorly and unnecessarily made things messy by adding Sun. If you believe the second then don’t be delusional if someone has the opinion it made certain narrative choices messier or that once again, Sun was written as a potential love interest.
I like BB but RT made some questionable choices that wouldn’t say hurt Blake and Yang’s character, but hindered scenes because they dragged it out too long. Also hate to say it but 95% of their relationship healing, comfor, angst, etc. was built off of Adam. So when ya kill Adam… the thing that made the dynamic interesting is gone. That’s not a problem if he died at the end of the show, like most characters do with the trope.
But I will say I do respect the fact they didn’t immediately date after murdering him because that just doesn’t look good on any level. However, Atlas had a time skip. As much as I love Ren and Nora, maybe we should’ve gone to the dance club and do the kiss there before Atlas went to hell? Then we could have a nuanced discussion about if the two of them telling Robyn without consulting anyone was okay.

How fast does Jaune figure out Yang likes Blake and Blake likes Yang? He has experience watching at least one sister be a useless lesbian before, because I refuse to believe that any arc isn't a bit useless when it comes to love. So... How does he proceed with the mess that I'd his sister and her bi disaster girlfriend?
See and that’s the thing isn’t it? How long does it take for Jaune’s personal experience with wlw sisters being useless to overpower his natural Jaune tendencies?
I believe that it’s around the dance (coincidentally around when he realizes oh fuck I actually am in love with Pyrrha Nikos) and he looks up at Yang on the balcony pining over Blake and he just thinks to himself “Looks like ALL Arcs are pretty bad at romance.”
He has trouble remembering sometimes that Yang ISNT an Arc. He’s a little confused but he’s got the spirit
Mostly he works off of the standard set by Terra and Saphron, that they’ll work themselves out eventually. Especially since Blake seems to have her romance stuff worked out, it’s just personal trauma that’s tripping her up
This doesn’t stop him from telling Yang all of his dad’s (and Pyrrha’s) dating advice

It's now official : it's now canon neither yang and Blake know how to flirt.
Especially Yang. Because Blake is her first love. She never fell in love before.
It's so beautiful .
Oh yeah totally, disaster bees my beloved. Glad it's confirmed that Blake is Yang's first love. Also would like to add that Yang is also Blake's first TRUE love. Love that for them.
Btw, I dunno if we ever get Yang's canon sexuality, but I think that's better cause everyone can headcanon her as lesbian/bi/pan.
Other thing, so we probably all think that Blake had "fun" time with Adam(sadly), but Yang? Like everyone think of her as a virgin and honestly yeah that makes sense, but I'm still thinking if Yang did actually try to have something romantic. If she did, it wasn't really good, she didn't enjoy it at all and it's just... Meh.
Anyway what's better Blake guiding Yang when they have their first time cause bottom teaching her top is lovely. Or Yang knows a bit what to do since she tried one time?(depending on what y'all choose -I'll draw that)

'Heat' and 'threshold' for Buck? Juno xx
Yes hello! 👀 Always game to write more Buck. And, well, I really wanted to take a moment to write him with Lottie, with whom he's got a bit of a complex something going on. I've set this after the events in full of grace, but it can be read as a standalone for sure. Half of this was written as a voice exercise for their relationship ages ago, and finally repurposed here in what feels like its proper place. 😊I don't think this piece needs a warning that isn't covered by the blanket "Lottie's a bi disaster"-tag, so... we're good to go!
heat / threshold
“I ain’t apologizin’ any.”
The shadow cast over her seems to shift slightly at the snap-and-bite she’s laced her words with. Lottie doesn’t bother looking up. Keeps her arms locked around her knees. Presses her face against her legs when the shadow doesn’t go away. Something curdles in her belly – low, aching, sharp like the bile in the back of her throat – that makes her feel all wrong. Makes her want to jump out of her skin in a way that leaves her head spinning and her choices less than fine.
“Jesus, Ace.”
She hates his long pause that makes her nickname a punctuation mark in his mouth. He sounds flat. Tired. She hates that she’s not Lot to him now. He calls her that every other time – even when he’s Major and she’s Captain and they’ve got a job to be doing – but never when he’s mad at her. The fact that she’s Ace to him now stings worse than the scrape on her knuckle that hasn’t stopped bleeding yet.
“You’ve got to stop fighting,” he says, then, and that’s a tune she’s heard from him before. “Hey? You have to.” His boots meet her toes. His flight jacket lands on the sand beside her. His sigh fills the air as much as his lingering aftershave does. “You listenin’ to me?”
“Yeah.” She allows a beat to pass. “Sorta.”
“I mean it.”
“I heard ya just fine, Major. Sir. Gilly Gale Cleven of the three-five-oh.”
He scrapes his throat. “Jesus, you’re really gunning for it now.” He still doesn’t go away. If anything, he moves that much closer. Folds himself into her space as he sinks down onto his jacket. He nudges her shoulder as they come to sit arm-to-arm, foot-to-foot, jacket-to-jacket. “What happened out there, Ace? Tiny said something about you and some of Blakely’s crowd?”
“Something like that.” Lottie shrugs. Keeps her gaze fixed on the small dent in the lone water canister Benny hasn’t picked up yet. “They ain’t learned to keep their mouths shut yet. Carter especially. Shutting them for ’em seemed… prudent.” She affects her mother’s tone on the last word. All debutante-socialite judgment rendered with the precision of a bullet. Is rewarded for it when he snorts out something that, in a better universe than this one, could very well be a laugh. “You give them a talking-to, too? Little lecture? Or am I the lone lucky one to face Major Cleven’s disapproval, sir?”
“Put a lid on the sirs, Ace.”
“Stop callin’ me Ace and I’ll think about it, sir.”
“Lot,” he rasps out, then, and goddamn she doesn’t like how her eyes sting when he nudges her again, “you really need to stop fighting us.” You need to stop fighting me is what she hears, exhaustion lacing his voice, not even an admonishment in place for the tone she’s taken with him. “All right?”
“I hear ya, Gilly. Y’all just get under my damn skin sometimes.” She tries to not make it sound too much like she’s sulking. Ain’t sure she’s succeeding when he chuckles and stretches his legs out beside her. “I don’t know. I don’t got anywhere else to put that feelin’, ya know?”
“Sky ain’t enough, huh.”
“The sky shoots back these days,” she says conversationally. “Gotta leave the pain on the ground. Take anything up with ya, it’s gonna make ya crash.”
“Ain’t that a truth.”
“I ain’t Val, I ain’t good at lyin’ to ya. Unless Bucky asks me to, of course.”
“Of course.”
Lottie exhales a noisy breath. “I’m sorry.”
“I know.” Gale’s face is serene when she glances at him. His hand finds her bruised knuckles. “Do better, Lot. I know you can.”
“You really believe that horseshit, huh.”
His hand squeezes hers none too gently before he releases her. “Manage a week. I’ll take you flying after. How’s that sound?”
“Like a damn impossibility.” Her voice cracks. She blinks furiously as her lower lip starts to wobble. “I… I don’t think…”
“Gotta start somewhere. This heat’s got all tempers at a high. Perrault has yet to take a breath without insulting John in the process.”
Lottie sniffs. Wipes at her cheeks. “Bucky deserves it.”
“I’m sure he does.” His smile is wry. His cheeks are flushed with heat. The start of a sunburn is already sprawling over his bare chest, beneath the glint of his dog tags. “You wanna talk about it now or later, Squeaky?”
“Not at all?” she hedges. Ignores the way his eyes narrow at that to the best of her ability. “I’m sick of talkin’, Gilly. Sick of people askin’ me shit.” She bites her lip. Wishes she could draw blood with the action. “You might as well be the only one who’s nice to me lately. Even if ya call me Squeaky.”
“Benny was plenty nice to you after we landed.”
And she can’t fault him for it. Can’t even hate him for it. “Yeah. He was.” She swallows thickly. Her head feels like it’s about to start swimming. “Darlene likes him a lot, ya know? Can’t be mean to him when she’s all soft about the guy.” Can’t be mean to him even when he makes Darlene smile in a way she hasn’t smiled at Lottie in a long time now. “I ain’t got a problem with Benny, all right?”
“All right,” agrees Gale, even when his tone suggests it’s anything but. He scrapes his throat. Pointedly doesn’t look at her. “Next time you want to fight a guy, Lot… You try me first.”
Lottie blinks. Stares. He is looking at the same water canister she was, earlier. “You? Gilly,” she laughs, breathless all of a sudden, “I ain’t gonna fight you.” I like you too much for that. “You’re my superior officer and all that shit, remember? You tryin’a get me into trouble here?”
He grunts a little. “Trying to keep you out of it, actually.”
“That don’t make sense.”
“What, me wanting to keep you out of trouble?” He laughs. Glances at her, all crinkled eyes and far too much warmth in his gaze, and her belly swoops the same way it did when she first stood on the threshold of a cockpit. “If you fight me,” he continues, speaking straight through the static that fizzes to life inside her, “I can chalk it up to training. Say it’s friendly. If you fight anybody else, they’ll demote you eventually. Send you home, if you keep going.”
“So, what, you’ll be my punching bag?”
“This bag will still punch back, Squeaky,” he snorts, nudging her. “And hard, too. You’re not the only one with a mean right hook in this squadron.”
“You’d punch a lady like me, Gilly?” She flutters her eyelashes at him. Nudges his shoulder none too gently. Anything to shake that feeling inside her that feels treacherously like butterflies. “No warnings, no takebacks, no apologies? Give it to me good and hard?”
His cheeks flush a deeper crimson than before. “Jesus, Lot…”
“Yeah, yeah, I know, you’ve already hit your max on dirty chatter for the day,” she laughs, lifting her sunglasses out of her hair and donning them again. “Can’t fault a girl for jumping on it though. Think of it as me perfectin’ your poker face in case you run into them Nazis. They ain’t gonna crack you during interrogation.”
“Pretty sure them Nazis won’t crack a hundred crude jokes like you do.”
“Pretty sure that makes them more boring than me.”
His answering laugh is soft. Doesn’t carry beyond where they’re seated. “Pretty sure you’re the least boring person in my world, Lot.”
Her cheeks feel warmer than the rest of her does, even though she’s been sunning herself in this mid-day heat for at least an hour now. “Bucky’s gonna cry if you tell him that,” she says, leaning her head on his shoulder long enough for him to tense and then relax under her touch. “But ya sure know how to make a girl feel special, sir. Marge is damn lucky to have ya.”
His shoulder tenses just a fraction beneath her cheek. Just enough.
It’s easier when she draws this line for both of them, or so she’ll tell herself half a million times more.

What do you think of fanon bumblebee? Does it treat them better than Canon?
Honestly, I wouldn't know much of it. I don't engage very much with ship content for things I don't ship, and in the case of bumbleby, I've had the ship tag (and every variant for it I can think of) filtered out for years now. So I'm not really 'in the know' on how they tend to be written in fanfics and I'm sure there's a lot of bees content that I just haven't seen. I'm sure there's plenty of great fics, fan arts, headcanons, etcetera out there that I just haven't seen.
However, with that said, I have seen some stuff from bees fans who just aren't good at tagging their stuff. And some of the trends I've seen can be kind of annoying. I really dislike how some people play up the 'Blake is a cat' thing, with fanarts of Blake like purring or playing with a piece of string or Yang petting her head. With the context of how the Faunus are portrayed in canon, it can feel uncomfortable at best. Another thing that I notice is people leaning into the whole 'Blake is just a meek little flower who needs protection, she can't be apart from Yang!' kind of thing, which I can't exactly blame people for because... That's what the writers did. But every time I see something like 'Blake is such a bi disaster, she literally falls apart when she can't see Yang's muscles for a day lol, she's such a blushing nervous little cutie' I just do not like it. It feels strange to me that the version of Blake someone would be most interested in is the passive cute sad girl who doesn't stand up for herself and not the freedom fighting passionate feisty girl who was willing to defend herself and others. I also dislike how sometimes people seem to only care about Blake's trauma if it's to prop up her and Yang as a ship or bashing Adam, or how people treat Yang's needs and what's good for Yang as the only thing that matters while what Blake needs and what's good for her is brushed off. All in all, from the little I've seen, I sometimes feel like there's a bit of a tendency in the fandom for bees fans to act like they're there for Yang and that Blake is just... incidental arm candy.
Like I said, I'm hardly the expert on how bees fans in general are and I'm sure there's a lot of good I just don't see, but those are some things I've seen that I don't like.

The fact we headcanon Finney Blake and Bruce Yamada as bi/pan is hilarious to me. Finney is obviously the type who can't tell the difference between platonic and romantic feelings for the life of him and expanding that to more than one gender is a receipt for disaster. That boy requires a handbook ASAP. Meanwhile Bruce is the type who is so convinced he is straight, he thinks fruity thoughts are normal for straight people. He tells himself "everyone has them once in a while" for the most of his life and it's only when he gets a whole ass boyfriend that he's finally like "hold on-"

What are some bisexual books that people don't often talk about but are very good and deserve more love
Ugh so many. It Goes Like This by Miel Moreland. Girl Made of Stars by Ashley Herring Blake. Verona Comics by Jennifer Dugan. Full Disclosure by Camryn Garrett. Death Prefers Blondes by Caleb Roehrig. I think Zack Smedley is the most underrated writer of bisexuality in YA, bar none - both of his books, for sure. With Love, From Cold World by Alicia Thompson isn't totally under the radar, but I feel like people don't know how significant the hero's being bi is. The whole True Queen series by Sarah Fine. (I haaaate when people say the first book isn't bi, oh my God.) Kristen Lepionka's Roxane Weary series and Misha Popp's murder pie series. The Disasters by MK England. I'll stop there, but yeah, so many. (Tbh I think Cool for the Summer and Going Bicoastal, too, but I am admittedly biased.)
