Chronic Migraines Flag

The largest color/band is green because green has been proven to be the best color for migraines! The whole flag is a desaturated rainbow so as to allow for less eye strain.

The symbol is a brain, for migraines, and is colored with a desaturated rainbow, inspired by the colors of the autism symbol, adhd symbol, etc!

Functional Neurological Disorder Flag

This isn't what we usually post, but we wanted a flag for functional neurological disorder (FND) and couldn't find one, so we made one ourselves!

The orange is for agitative symptoms, like pain and seizures, while the blue is for depressive symptoms, like fainting and lethargy.

The cream-colored middle stripe is for the good days in-between the bad, with the purple being low-symptom periods.

The flowers are there because FND is just... very flowery, to us. With wellness blooming and wilting in a continuous cycle. Here's a version without flowers as well:

Personal story below cut!

When my therapists first told me that I had HPD, I was so overwhelmed. I begged them not to put it in my chart due to my fear of medical bias from other doctors. When I heard the "dramatic" and theatrical criteria, I felt... a bit bad! My whole life, I have had the term "dramatic" and "theatrical" weaponized against me, so this flag/term was my way of reclaiming it!

Fantasy-prone disorder (also known as fantasy personality disorder) is a disordered form of fantasy-prone personality disposition.

It is sometimes formed by childhood neglect and can cause someone with it to become dependent on maladaptive fantasies in order to function. Said functioning can also be stunted by these same fantasies.

These fantasies are considered real, and have the ability to take over the memory and thought process of said person. Entire personalities, versions of the self, and egos are instead created by people with FPD instead of being naturally formed.
