Update: Due to not wanting to overwhelm myself. While also providing my current rp partners with quality and relatively consistent rp, my request for rp partners is currently closed! Still feel free to reach out if you like and I'll keep you in mind for if things open up.

Ah, hello Tumblr roleplayers, it has been a while! I am one of many who was left adrift after Omegle shut down and am on the search for rp partners.

I am looking for rp partners in a variety of fandoms, genres, ships, etc. I’ll have all of them listed in a hopefully organized manner below and will do my best to keep this list accurate. If you’re interested, feel free to shoot me a DM or interact with this post and I’ll reach out to you. But please do read through this post fully before doing so, thanks!

A Little About Myself:

-Age: 20+

-Experience: I’ve been roleplaying off and on in a variety of fandoms and styles for around 10+ years

What I’m Looking For In A Roleplay Partner:

-Age: Roleplayers who are at least 20+ as well

-Style: I’m open to a variety of styles, I roleplay everything from one sentence “text message” style to multi-paragraph advanced lit. Though my preferences tend to lean towards lit/advanced lit.

-Location: I’d prefer someone who’s comfortable transitioning to Discord, once we agree on what we want to rp

-Expectations: One of the things I loved about Omegle were the casual vibes when it came to when an rp needed to end. So, while I hope for some long term rps, I’m looking for people who will be okay with rps ending when interest dissipates. Without the need for big explanations as to why. This goes both ways! I won’t expect such explanations from you either if we start any sort of storyline and you end up wanting to drop out. The way I see it, this is meant to be a fun pass time and ideally shouldn’t feel like a stressful obligation for either of us.

Is there any chance you’re talking requests?

Yes, as long as it’s reasonably in my wheelhouse. I habitually make video snippets of scenes/characters/plots/visuals that I like, then store them so I don’t have to start from scratch when inspiration hits me. As a result, I have a lot (as in, over 30,000) SPN MP4 snippets that I can convert to GIFs and arrange. And, of course, I can crack out my DVDs to GIF a moment that I don’t have on hand.

The thing is, I mostly collect clips featuring scenes/characters/plots/visuals that impressed me, and I don’t even remember in which episodes some of my un-favorites appear. The Kripke-era mytharc? Dirty-Americana visuals? Spooky episodes? Kim Manners episodes? Sam’s doomed girlfriends? Sam’s emotional states? MY JAM. If, on the other hand, you requested “Hannah/Castiel relationship progression” or “Anael/Ruby flashback scene,” I would probably stare blankly at my screen before DM-ing you to see if you meant to send your request to someone else.

Poor Miggy looking for Sam.

And of course they're fighting. Sam, just listen to Tory would you. (I know she's having a rough time.)

Both Miguel and Robby need like body armor for the Tory Sam fights.

I also think it's funny that they keep doing this and it literally never works.

Sam yelling that Tory's been working with Kreese. Like a lot of conversation was listened to before Sam went on offense.

Oh hey at least both girls left without any damage, and neither Robby or Miggy got hurt, so actually progress.

I also like the way they meet up after both girls leave and are like wait did you know about this? No, no idea.

UGH it's literally been maybe 4 weeks max since Carmen is considered pregnant, the baby would not be that big. It for sure wouldn't have features.

Johnny wouldn't know that, but Carmen for sure would.

Carmen's doctor is Dr. Howard.

Johnny remembers where they parked, "Punch twice, p2"

Carmen says "Lawrence-Diaz" and Johnny likes it and cue Silver.

Silver got in on 3, quite possibly another hint of him being sick/dying or something.

"To congratulate you. What you and your partner have accomplished is a joy few get to experience." Johnny: Who told you about the baby.

Silver says he's doing everything for their future and his own, and tells Johnny to savor every moment before it's gone.

Which sounds like a threat, but I mean if he's dying it could be like Tommy's note.

Daniel wants to go to the portugese place on Laurel.

Louie wants to plan it and use it as an away to apologize for blowing up his car.

Reggie can hook Louie up with a free limo.

Johnny says there has to be dancing because Carmen loves dancing.

Louie told them to dress nice and he'll pick them up at 8, they don't all live together bud.

Anoush has a date.

Demetri to Hawk: Never let me miss a house party again.

Bert says he's friends with Stingray and stingray wouldn't lie to him.

Robby walking into Cobra Kai to apologize, Robby is so freaking brave. "I let you down. I turned my back on you. I didn't understand at the time but I realize now I was wrong. I shouldn't have just left.

Like he knows Silver kicked his sensei's ass, beat the tar out of Daniel. He knows Kreese was in prison, that his guy beat Stingray into a coma and was like yeah, I'm going to waltz in and tell his students I'm sorry for leaving them behind here.

Robby is a badass.

There is pain in this dojo because it's built upon fear, because this man is not your sensei, he is your enemy.

Tory shouldn't have nodded, Kim saw it.

Reggie's ride or die.

And this is Reggie:

Chozen has to remove all his weapons, he keeps sai's in his jacket pockets. But he'll at least get to pick them up again when he leaves.

Johnny looks around to see what he should order, sees a white claw, tries it, spits it out, says "It tastes like watermelon took a piss." and then shrugs and takes another sip

The LaRussos order a ketel martini, straight up, Macallan 18 neat and Chozen says no drink. He wants to stay ready in case Silver attacks.

Chozen orders a long island iced tea

Louie omg

Louie shows up with a tray full of shots "Oh, i've got shots kids" and gives this look to Johnny

when he says this stuff is strong, almost like a kick to the face.

They all cheer in Okinawan Karii

Stingray is hosting dungeons and dojo's games where he's the DM

he's the worst dojo master. Apparently, all of the party or at least most of the party died.

Everyone is gluten intolerant so he's not sure whose at the door.

His whole D&D group leaves past Bert.

Miyagi-fangs, oh this is a trap, you admiral ackbar-ed me.

Carmen points out that if Chozen was using fake weights wasn't he scamming himself out of money and not the villagers?

I like Daniel using Chozen's words against him. "No, I will get" in a very jokingly angry voice. Mimicking Chozen.

Amanda: That dance floor is calling my name. Carmen: Mine too. Amanda: Come and get it girl.

Carmen asks if Johnny is coming to dance with her but he looks at Chozen drinking his long island alone and tells her he'll catch the next one.

Dude truly knows what it's like to be alone, and probably to be an extra wheel with couples and doesn't want Chozen left fully alone.

Chozen asks Johnny how he's doing. Johnny: Honestly? I'm not sure.

Johnny says his whole life has been haunted by one stupid kick.

dodge it, block it, his life would be fixed. The kick wasn't the problem he had to stop focusing on what was behind and start looking at what was right in front of him.

Chozen says We are same. Both make mistakes. Both feel guilt for pain we caused. Now you have, uh, friends. family, children. I always wanted same things.

Ugh the thing that Terry started with Daniel but now stone. Someone please save her.

"it's solid stone, I will break my hand" "it will heal in time for the tournament"- Kim

Tory tries to leave, "I'm going home." and three of Kim's hench- sensei's literally block her path.

"I broke up with him because of this dojo you bitch." literally breaks the stone behind Kim. You go girl, but also owie.

"That must've been a hard decision."

They literally all leave Tory there curled up on the mat bleeding.

in another universe this was Stingrays D&D group

If I tell you what really happened he'll find out. I can't. It's not that easy you guys.

And then he realizes he can just tell a story instead. "I've been working on this new D&D campaign" and Miguel is like okay we don't have time, but Eli gets what Stingray is up to.

Stingray is a dwarven monk

and he pretty much says he'd give up everything he got if he could, after all the silver haired king nearly killed the monk. And his voice trembles when he says it and Bert I think catches how bad it really was.

Stingray wanted to be a proud and nobel warrior like Sam and Hawk but he's neither proud nor noble and not a warrior either. He's just really scared. He apologizes.

Sam leaves upset that she didn't get the info she needed. She's frustrated because if she had know, then the dojo wouldn't have had to close, maybe her and Miguel wouldn't have broken up. Just a lot of painful what if's.

Miggy pointing out that Tory telling them what happened must've been so hard. Sam doesn't know what it's like to be a part of Cobra Kai, but Miggy does.

Chozen's a good dude man. | Ah, that's putting it mildly.

Johnny tells Daniel that Chozen likes Kumiko and before he can continue Carmen pops up, says "No more talk, you're mine" and drags him towards the dance floor. "Gotta go." is all Johnny says clapping Daniel's arm on his way.

"I'm pretty sure they don't keep giant slabs of ice on hand Chozen."

"What kind of bar is this?"

as children chozen and kumiko played together in the ruins of king shō hashi castle. Chozen would hide and Kumiko would always find him. After Chozen's disgrace, he tried to hide from everything and Kumiko found him again, her kindness brought him back. She doesn't know how he feels. How he treated her, what he did to her. Unforgivable

Louie sees anoush, see's he's with Vanessa, Anoush tries to calm him down, Louie punches him in the face, Vanessa slaps him. Louie: You can do better than him, you're embarrassing the family. Anoush ducks down and charges at Louie.

Louie: Get your boyfriend off of me. Vanessa: I'm trying.

Daniel: Classic Louie. Limo, drinks, and some trouble.

Chozen: I'm glad I came here, but I made one big mistake, I should've taken you with me. (panic) okay bye.

Carmen and Amanda are going to take an uber home. Chozen has already dived into the limo yelling party time.

As a sketchy uber driver Johnny tells them to make sure it's an uber black.

Sam seeing injured Tory and then saying if you're having trouble with cobra kai i'd be willing to listen, tory lets her in.

Sam finally sees everything pretty much everyone has been telling her.

Her mom is now in a hospital bed. Previously she was in a bed with some machines but it was still a bedroom, now it looks empty of everything but the hospital bed.

The interior layout is different from before. I think this is the same interior layout as Johnny and Miggy's place

Kim wants Devon Lee to be the new champion.

I remembered being so tense the first time I watched this. With Silver saying he was going to take care of it, our party splitting into three. Amanda and Carmen on their own, Anoush and Louie finding out Reggie's not driving, the guys plastered but singing eye of the tiger. (Maybe they should do a rock karaoke night)

Daniel and Johnny realizing they're not there yet.

Lol i forgot they end the episode on Johnny, Chozen and Daniel realizing they're trapped in the back of the limo and don't know whose driving, can't get out and it's just careening so they keep slamming from side to side.

PRIDE FESTIVAL 2024

A L.A’s Pride Parade, também conhecida como Los Angeles Pride Festival acontece há mais de 40 anos e atrai milhares de pessoas da comunidade LGBTQIA+ local e global. Todos os anos, em junho, no bairro conhecido como o “queer neighborhood”, West Hollywood, todos se juntam para prestigiar a liberdade de serem quem são. Na verdade, Los Angeles organizou o primeiro desfile do mundo em defesa dos direitos da comunidade em 28 de junho de 1970, em resposta e em comemoração da Revolução de Stonewall, na Christopher Street, em Nova Iorque, no ano anterior.

O Los Angeles Pride Festival teve sua primeira edição oficial reconhecida em 1974, não passando de uma simples feira de rua na West Hollywood. Hoje em dia, o Festival atrai mais de 50 mil participantes e conta com um cronograma de atividades que vão muito além do desfile de 40 anos atrás. Fique de olho nas atrações desse ano e não perca a chance de participar da maior Parada LGBTQIA+ do mundo.

PRIDE IN THE PARK

Não existe maneira melhor de começar um evento queer do que com boa música. Todos os anos o LA State Historic Park se torna palco de um festival musical com os maiores artistas LGBTQIA+. O espaço é dividido em 2 palcos, sendo um apenas com apresentações de artistas locais em ascensão fazendo covers dos grandes HITs queers e o palco principal contando com performances de tirar o fôlego de grandes estrelas LGBTQIA+.

Olá meus amores. Estamos retornando com nossos eventos-task. Dessa vez recheado para manter seus personagens na ativa o fim de semana todo!

Vamos às instruções:

Os personagens músicos da comunidade poderão se apresentar no palco Local do PRIDE IN THE PARK. Basta nos enviar na DM do @asianvilleadm o nome e duas músicas que irá apresentar. Lembrando que é uma apresentação de covers queers. Sendo 2 músicas apenas. O prazo para o recebimento da inscrição é até as 17hs de sexta.

Os personagens que forem se apresentar devem entregar um self-para de como foi a experiência, ficando isentos das demais tasks do evento.

A guerra de glitter da SPLASH POOL PARTY nada mais é do que uma grande algazarra onde serão distribuídos saquinhos coloridos de glitter de todas as cores. A intenção é jogar e receber a maior quantidade de glitter possível.

Para os personagens que forem participar dessa task, pedimos headcanons do que o personagem aprontou durante a guerra, além da postagem de mídias do resultado. Não precisam ser fotos do FC, podem ser de roupas sujas de glitter, partes do corpo, cabelos, locais, o que quiserem. Mas se atentando ao fato do evento acontecer a noite e em uma pool party.

Personagens que entregarem a task da guerra de glitter ficam isentos das demais.

Aqueles que desejarem entregar self-para ou pov sobre o desfile em si, também ficarão isentos das outras tasks.

E a última task é o concurso de performance da Skandal. Seja cantando, dançando, fazendo lip-sync, o personagem pode performar o que quiser, montado em seu traje mais queer possível. Estaremos aceitando a inscrição pela DM do @asianvilleadm até as 20hs de domingo. Devem enviar o nome e um vídeo da performance que o personagem irá fazer. Não precisa ser um vídeo do fc, apenas da performance que o personagem fará, pois montaremos uma playlist no youtube com a ordem das performances.

Para os personagens que irão participar do concurso, liberaremos a postagem de fancams/vídeo performance do fc. Porém, se atentem a temática e local do evento, além de ser somente 1 vídeo por personagem.

Usem a tag #asvlpride para postagem de mídias e/ou selfparas.

Pedimos aos participantes do concurso que nos entreguem headcanons das performances. Fazendo isso, ficam isentos das demais tasks.

Os personagens que não entregaram nenhuma task mês passado tem a chance de entregar dessa vez. Caso não o faça, receberá a primeira advertência por falta de participação.

Lembrando que é o acúmulo de 3 advertências que acarreta unfollow do personagem.

Vocês têm até quinta-feira – 13/06 para a entrega de pelo menos 1 das tasks.

So as mentioned in my previous post about this bingo, my birthday is next month. And for that occasion I wanted to host another bingo! Like my last bingo in October 2021, this one will have moodboards to the squares. You don’t have to use them, but they’re there for inspiration, and can also be used in your fics as a “cover” if you’d like 🥰 I’m gonna have the moodboards up before the bingo starts on Monday 17th of January 😅

here are some rules:

1. It’ll start on January 17th and ends on February 17th at Midnight (Norwegian time)

2. Write one, ten or all of the fics. But don’t feel like you have to write them, this is a fun little writing exercise

Oh boy, when you think the heat dies down spn hits yet again. And Destiel trends yet again on hellsite. This time thanks to franch dub. It contains Cas saying "Because i felt you cared about me, and that i cared about you too, I also cared about sam, and of course jack, but if i loved this world so much, it's only because of you. You changed me Dean." and "je t'aime" that can be, and in fact in this case is, used as romantic declaration of love. Dean on the other hand says "Don't do this to me(!) Castiel". Fandom proclaims Destiel canon yet again, and claims that Cas' words mean Dean loved him too.

Preorder of limited edition crew members souvenir book containing pictures from set . Premiere announced for July. Most likely same book Jensen showed during the panel. Fandom shook by the content used as promo that included TFW 2.0 in rebuilt Roadhouse and band Kansas playing behind them (on the left) and Dabb's description of still terribly awful and surprisingly close to the end product finale, with cast members photoshoped into the picture (right) - as always, click for better quality.

Ok, so, it's not that I don't want to share impressions in DM, it's just that for all the 10 years that I'm older than you, I'm actually an anxiety riddled moron lol Even with this, I know we speak the same language, but it's easier for me to talk to people in English. Srpski mi je nekako previse... personal. But yeah, as far as the impressions go, I loved the episode, and it's been an emotional roller coaster, but it ended on a surprisingly happy note. But yeah, about Jeff, so I'm aro ace, so a dude being hot isn't really a thing for me, nor do I care about personal lives or famous people, and so far I've only seen Ingredients which was more of an ad than a show, so he wasn't that impressive there. But then the more they kept showing 'Kim-the mafia son' going a bit berserk the more I started to see the appeal. He is indeed very sexy while beating people up. Also that moment when he slaps the dude, and the dude wobbles a little, so Kim mocks him for a second before slamming his head against the bar, chef's kiss.

Jay is dreaming to: Like A Fool - Sam Kim, NIve

“No, come on. You calculated that shit wrong - this obviously falls under the 5% value which means it should be rejected.”

“What? Bullshit.”

“Jay, you did this tutorial before, do you remember the answer?”

Silence.

Heeseung looks up from his notepad and glances at the other table, over the rim of his glasses. If he tried hard enough, Heeseung could hear the song blasting in Jay’s earpieces. He was just mindlessly staring at his week 2 marketing tutorial, with this tiny, stupid, idiotic smile on his lips.

Sunghoon pulls away from the digital whiteboard, placing the marker back into the compartment in the corner of the panel. He slaps a palm against Jay’s shoulder blade, the sharp piak sound almost echoing in the tutorial room.

“Ow!” The victim pouts and yanks out one side of his earpieces aggressively. Heeseung opens his mouth, and curls his lips between his teeth to hide his laughter when Jake jumps as well. “What do you want?”

“This BE (business econs) tutorial question!” Sunghoon waves the tutorial book under Jay’s nose. “I didn’t know your help consisted of you daydreaming.”

Jake scoffs and chuckles annoyingly. “Please, I bet all he can think about is his date last week. Not only that, he gets to see her right the day after for marketing.”

“God damn, you’re right,” Jay leans back in his seat, bringing his palms up to the back of his head. “Ahhhhhhhhhhhh why does she have to be an exchange student? Of all people to choose, I chose an exchange student?” He stomps his feet incessantly, vibrating his entire body with frustration.

And why did I choose the same girl as you?

Sunghoon chokes out a dry snicker of a mockery, turning back to the working on the board where Jake’s busy struggling with his calculator. “Maybe because you’re an idiot, ever thought about that?”

“Tsk,” Jay tuts his lips, reaching out and grabbing Sunghoon’s arm that was holding onto the tutorial booklet. “Sunghoooooooooonnnnnnnnnn-”

“Stop it,” He groans, trying to wring his way out of Jay’s clinging. “Get off me, it might work better on her-”

“I don’t see her enough for us to get close too fast...” Jay’s hugging Sunghoon’s arm too tightly now, even pressing his head into his forearm.

“Jesus, he’s whipped and too far gone for hope,” Jake blatantly taps the crown of Jay’s head with the digital marker, subtly shaking his head. “Press F to pay respects, man.”

“F,” Sunghoon rolls his eyes.

“F,” Heeseung grins, twiddling with the pen in his fingers.

“Lee Heeseung, don’t get too far ahead of yourself,” Jay leans forward into his seat, squinting playfully. “I’m pretty sure you’re like, half as screwed as I am with that girl of yours in music history.”

“For the record, at least I’m still sane and I have an adequate duration of attention span... and my ass isn’t daydreaming in week 3.”

Jay’s lips curl downwards, stretching his lips in a bid to mimic Heeseung in a slightly higher pitch. “‘At least I’m still sane and I have an adequate duration of attention span-’ Hey!” Jay winces again, now being hurled at by Heeseung’s rolled up jacket. He releases Sunghoon, allowing him to return to Jake’s working.

“Stop it.”

“Did you talk to her? How did it go?”

“We talked during class but that’s it, what else are you expecting?”

Jay lines his thumb and index finger with his chin and jaw, the Confucius in him readying himself to spit some words of wisdom.

“Maybe-”

“No.”

“Come on!” Jay stands, almost slamming his palms into the desk. The thud combined with the shriek of the seat being pushed back out jolts Jake and Sunghoon out of their mathematical bicker once again. “Nothing can go wrong. So you embarrass yourself or she thinks you’re a creep - move on!”

Jake glances at Jay, then rests his vision on Heeseung. “Y’all really be paying a few thousand dollars per sem just to swoon over girls.”

“You mean Jay’s paying a few thousand dollars per sem just to swoon over one girl, who just happens to be an exchange student.”

Jay turns with the most done facial expression they’ve seen on him, and he rolls up his tutorial booklet before whacking Sunghoon with it.

“Ow- ow- stop it!”

“Full of shit,” You snort while rolling your eyes, locking your phone and placing it facing down onto the table top. The chapter for The Medieval, Renaissance and the Western was as dry as the Sahara Desert and even you were having trouble trying to absorb the information.

Heeseung’s deal flashes across your memory, and it might’ve been a stretch, but you believed him when he said he wasn’t going to score well for Test 1 - he just didn’t seem like the kind to score full marks on something.

Too harsh.

The doorbell rings, and you wait for a moment, hoping that it was just some delivery man sending a bomb to you.

“y/n, I bought some desserts and snacks for you.”

“Ok, thanks. Leave it outside, I’m studying.”

“Spare me 10, would you? It’s week 3, I’m sure your work hasn’t piled up yet. Besides, I wanna know how your tour with Jay went.”

The disappointed scoff sounds more like a choke when it comes from you.

Jay gave me the tour 2 fucking weeks ago.

The door clicks and slides open after you input the password, which your father also has, so kudos to him for giving you the privacy when he should. Now, the logo on the box in the bag he’s holding, you recognise. It’s your favourite brand of artisan cakes and pastries and he knows that he brought it here in a bid to appease you.

“How have your classes been? Music history, marketing, what else?” He places the box on the kitchen counter, eyes automatically scanning the room as if he was expecting it to look like the aftermath of a tornado.

“Communication psychology and creative writing,” Slamming yourself into the couch, you pick up the TV remote and switch it on.

“And how was the tour with Jay? Any funny episodes? I know he takes marketing with you.”

In your peripheral vision, he looks nervous - wiping his palms against his pants and adjusting his T-shirt.

“It was fine. It’s not like there are campus maps at every lift lobby.”

He sighs heavily, lowering his head a tad bit. “I know. I just thought it’d be nice for someone to accompany you while you get accustomed to the environment.”

An awkward silence. The audience laughter from FRIENDS almost echoes through the apartment.

“If there isn’t anything else urgent, then I have work to do. Music history’s a pain in the ass and I have to start working on my first assignment for creative. I’m sure you have prep work for BE too, Jay was telling me it’s alot of project work to sieve through on the prof’s end.”

Your father nods grimly, eyes darting away from the screen like he was ashamed to be paying attention to the series. “Right, right. Okay, I won’t bother you anymore. I’ll go. If there’s anything that crops up, you’ll text me, yeah?”

Mindlessly offering him a hum, you nod with your eyes still stuck to the screen. In your peripheral vision, he turns on his heels, obviously very reluctant to leave. But he does anyway, gently closing the door behind him and leaving the box of cake on the counter.

The assorted slices of cake and pastries in the box are glistening under the amber lighting of the kitchen, the fresh scent of sugar, cream and fruit wafting through your nose. Casually picking out the mango cake slice out of the box, you jab your fork into it, the fruity taste melting over your tastebuds.

It’s not as sweet as you remember it.

It was a pleasant surprise to stroll into class, knowing that you were early, and seeing Heeseung diligently staring at his notes. Even dragging his highlighter across the ivory sheets.

Your fingers tighten around the paper bag with the pastry inside, for some strange reason, nervous.

I’ll just kill myself if he rejects it. What if he has some stupid gluten allergy and gets a seizure? I don’t know the the ingredients in this stupid thing, why would I even give a shit when I can just shove my face in it?

“Morning,” He greets without looking at you. “I beat you today.”

You shut your eyes and shake your head for a second. “Didn’t know we were playing at this.”

Heeseung grins, returning to his notes and even clicking a pen. Sliding into your seat (with the seat between the two of you now occupied with his bag), you pull out the lecture table and place the bag on it.

“You don’t... happen to be allergic to anything, are you?”

“Hmm?” Raising both brows, he takes awhile to peel his eyes off his notes. “No, why?”

You flick the paper bag with your middle finger, resting against the seat.

“Free breakfast?” He peers over, using his arms to lift his butt off the seat. Large doe eyes observe you as you pull the box out of the bag, and you open it to reveal the (chosen) pastries and cake in it. “That looks really good.”

“It is. Certified by me. Haven’t tried it before?” Reaching down to the paper bag, you pull out a disposable fork.

Heeseung shakes his head, removing his bag off the seat and shifting over.

“Are you sure you don’t want them for yourself?”

“Please, the ones I like are at home.”

“And for a moment, I was surprised,” He takes the fork from you, staring at you brazenly in your eyes.

The air in your lungs slowly empty themselves from your chest, surprised that neither of you have looked away yet. His bright eyes flicker a moment of curiosity, almost like he was contemplating some kind of risk. Then he blinks and looks at the pastries, twirling the fork between his fingers.

“So, which ones do you hate? I’m probably taking those, right?”

“Take whatever you want. I can live without the ones here,” Leaning back into your seat, you trace your attention to his fork driving into one of the puffs.

“Did you buy these over the weekend?” The cream on the top of the puff he chooses smears slightly across his upper lip as he shoves the entire thing into his mouth. His cheeks fill out like a squirrel, and there’s a inner battle with yourself to hide the grin that’s threatening to reveal itself.

“No, my dad gave them to me.”

Abruptly stopping his chewing, he glares at you, eyes widened so much that you could see the whites around his pupils. “What? If your dad gave them to you then shouldn’t you try to finish them on your own?”

The subtle frown is visible on his forehead, pastry almost spilling out of his mouth while he watches your eyes flatten over the query.

“He gave me a total of 8 puffs and 5 cakes. What do you want me to do? Gain 3kg in a day?”

“You could always...” His eyes sadden, brows relaxing and cheeks sinking. “Space them out...”

“By then, they’ll go bad,” The napkin is fished out of the paper bag when you can’t stand the cream on his upper lip. “You have a little- something over there-”

“Hmm?” He licks the bit of cream, but ends up pushing it onto his philtrum.

“Jesus, you’re like 12,” Reaching out with the napkin in a bid to do him the little favour, he interrupts you by taking the napkin instead.

“Thanks, I got it.”

It would be an utter lie if you said the gesture didn’t hurt you. Mentally ‘LOL-ing’ at yourself, it’s a punch in your gut when you catch yourself feeling offended by something that shouldn’t even bother you.

Falling back into the sofa, you fumble around on the sofa’s cushions to search for the television remote. It would be a total lie if you didn’t admit you were confused, maybe slightly hurt, by Heeseung’s gesture earlier that day. One of the local channels roll up, and the visuals of some familiar sights of the city entices you to hurl the remote aside.

Was he so repelled by you that he couldn’t have you helping him with a tad bit of cream? Was he so easily embarrassed or did he have a secret girlfriend stashed somewhere?

"The campus buses have been in operation for really long, so I guess some of them are prone to breaking down.”

“In the last... 4 weeks? Seoul University has had at least 8 bus breakdowns which is pretty concerning. We’re working with the bus vendor to figure out what’s the root problem. It could be something to do with an outdated or an old engine, but our students can be rest assured that they will remain safe on school grounds.”

Heeseung returns to his room with his earpiece stuck into his ear canals, carrying a box of takeaway food for Jay. The radio was just broadcasting some local news about the school buses. The door clicks open and he finds Jay laying diagonally across the bed, toes wriggling to whatever he’s listening to, eyes reflecting the light off his phone screen.

“Did you wake up in time for your online class?”

“No,” Jay pulls out his earpiece and sits up, beady eyes tracing Heeseung’s movements towards his table. “But I did wake up for the last half hour.”

“Isn’t your lecture 2 hours? You should’ve just slept in.” The elder scoffs, placing his bag down and pulling off his hoodie, leaving Jay’s lunch on his desk.

“There are participation quizzes in the last half hour before it ends and that’s where they mark class part so of the entire 2 hours, that’s actually the only thing I can’t miss.”

“And your brain works right when you wake up?” Heeseung turns, sitting inversely on the chair.

“Ironically, yes,” Jay arches a brow, shifting over to his desk and checking the pack of food. “Also, Sunghoon and Jake were late for physio and anatomy this morning.”

“I woke them up though?”

“Campus bus broke down, apparently.”

“Ah, so that’s what triggered the news,” Heeseung stretches his arms and leans back, hands still gripping onto the back rest. “Local radio was just reporting about the campus bus break downs.”

“Were you late? You left pretty early, right?”

“Mhm. I got there like, half an hour before class.”

Jay gaze fades into a conspiratorial squint, fingers leaving the takeaway food.

“You went for the girl.”

“I did not.”

“Shut up, you totally did.”

“No, I didn’t. I went to read my notes.”

“Liar!” Jay bursts into boisterous giggles, hopping over to him and shaking Heeseung by his shoulders. “My man’s really going for it-”

“I’m- I’m not,” His voice wobbles with the aggressive shaking.

“And- what’s that? Is that...” Jay abruptly stops, and squats to pick Heeseung’s bag up. “What’s this? Powder?”

“Powdered sugar,” He reaches out for his bag, but Jay holds it away.

“What? Why would you have powdered sugar on your bag?” Jay squeaks, turning and squinting at the patch of white. “This sure as Hell better not be c-”

“JAY!”
