[OC!Malcom x Sub!Male reader]
"You were always avoiding the topic of sex when it came to your boyfriend, but being so stressed over the course of your semester. You just needed something to relieve stress. Luckily your boyfriend is just so happy to give it to you.
Contains: 18+ , sweet -> smutty, body worship, size difference, creampie, praise, insecure+anxiety filled!reader
Let me know if you have any feed back or criticism! Or just how you feel about this~
───────────────────────────
If there were a man that knew how to make you feel loved, it was your boyfriend.
Malcom was infatuated by your very existance. The way you laughed, spoke, and moved— by God it was like you put a curse on him. The smell of your cologne and shampoo had filled his senses; he had always held you close like it was his last.
You knew his love was bigger than anything else, but it always caught you off guard whenever he said it so casually. How were you able to get your hands in a man that had the biggest heart in the world? You weren't so sure.
"It's so unfair!"
You had felt yourself flinch from the sudden declaration; it was your friend, who had been laying on the carpeted ground of the living room in your apartment. She had began to talk about her exe's while you both worked on a document for your college assignment, honestly if you didn't know any better— she probably only came here to vent about more of her failed relationships.
"You seriously wouldn't believe it! The fucking asshole had the audacity to comment about my sex life! Like— if you want pussy that badly go to a prostitute! Or all the other fucking girls who you keep switching between every week!"
She huffed, pressing her face on the pillow she had taken from the sofa to muffle her uncontrollable yelling. Sofie had always been a bit easily agitated, but today was her last straw apparently.
"Why'd you even date him?"
You asked, pausing your typing on your laptop to lean back on the sofa while she rolled around on the floor, kicking her legs in the air. Your friend let out a sigh and took the pillow off her face, she looked extremely tired, did the situation really bother her that much?
"Look man.. He had good dick! But the asshole had something worth bragging and decided it was his whole personality! He was pretty big too so—"
Too much details!
"Okay stop! I don't wanna hear the details of you sex with him."
You shudder at the very thought of it, this girl was shameless, but she was your bestfriend so you couldn't complain about your choices.
"Whateverrr—"
Sofie sat up from the floor and stood up, heading towards your kitchen— your semi-kitchen anyways. She grabbed the caramel pudding that was stashed underneath, it was still so weird how she could just find the snacks Malcom buys you.
" anyways I probably shouldn't complain to you, not when your boyfriend was sent by God apparently. Seriously! He keeps buying you shit, my boyfriends couldn't even buy me flowers!"
"It's because he's nice to me, besides I buy him just as much the amount as he does for me."
Sofie teasingly rolled her eyes and peeled the packaging seal of the pudding, grabbing a spoon to eat.
"Mhm sure. Oh yeah— he dicked you down yet?"
You coughed out loud, choking in your own saliva; caught off guard by her words. Did this girl just wear no filter whenever you were around? Usually she was more shy with people.
"𝘚𝘰𝘧𝘪𝘦! Why are you so sex craved!?—"
"I am not! I just haven't heard much from you about yours, is he that bad?—"
"—well I wouldn't know! "
You both paused, sitting in silence. You didn't mean to say that—it was true but it didn't have to be said!
Closing your laptop, you put it besides you, theirs no way you could work under these way too personal questions.
"Oh, really? I heard Malcolm was pretty good. Did he not want to? Kinda fucked up if so." Sofie said, scooping a spoonful of pudding in the cup to shove in her mouth. Walking back to you to sit on the couch.
You shook your head, it wasn't like he didn't want to have sex with you. It was the fact that you were too scared to even show your body to him, you were slim, yeah it was almost every girls ideal body type— but you didn't even know if it was 𝘩𝘪𝘴. You were already in disbelief by the fact that he even reciprocated feelings for you, sex was the last thing that came into your mind.
But it didn't mean you could avoid the image of his muscular arms caging you while you layed helpless at his mercy, not mentioning the fact that he constantly walked around shirtless in your apartment— You fought your urges every day at that point.
"Well if not, I say you should, we already finished our exams you might as well get some relaxation in your life before our semester is over— we only have to submit a few of our projects left anyways."
You felt your cheeks burn, it was ridiculous. The thought of finally making love to him made you feel completely weak, you weren't even sure if he wanted to have sex with you.
"—He's probably been waiting for you to give permission or something."
You could only hope she was right.
This is embarrassing.
You layed on your bed for what felt like hours, waiting for him.
"Why is he taking so long? Ugh, I might throw up."
Sitting up, you moved from your bed to open your bed side cabinet— you had bought some lube and condoms from the store just a bit earlier, having to go to the counter to purchase the said items made you want to curl up into a ball, for fucks sakes—
Of course the cashier wasn't the only one to witness you buy them!
You were an adult.
You weren't supposed to be ashamed for buying them, or even about sex in general! But you were a virgin, someone who had stayed far away from any form of sexual intimacy for the sake of your own dignity— and now you were offering it to 𝘩𝘪𝘮.
"Calm down, [Name]. If he doesn't want to that's fine, you can just cope with it and move on!"
You felt yourself shaking, dammit you felt pathetic. It wasn't your fault your mom wanted to keep you safe! Maybe this was a bad idea, if he didn't say anything then that probably meant he—
You felt a sudden pressure wrap around your waist, the figure burying it's nose at the crook of you neck.
"Hi baby.. I missed you.."
You made a quick reaction and closed your cabinet, praying he hadn't just seen what you prepared.
"M-Malcom! Hi— did your practice go well?"
Turning your body around to look at him, lifting his face off your neck—you gently caressed his face with incredible amounts of affection. While he had determinely locked his arms around your waist, seemingly needy for your touch.
"It was fine.. Took too long, it was a pain in the ass.. "
You nodded, as he leaned his face against your hand. Malcom had always been a bit clingy when he was exhausted— desperate to touch you and to feel his cold hands on your warm skin.
Malcom was beautiful, he had bronze skin that developed from all the times he bathed underneath the sun, and green eyes that just lit up every time he had something say. His hair was flawless, his sister had always taken care of it; dark brown and with a few strands of his hair framing his face— not to mention the mole underneath his lips. [Name] was desperate to see what else is underneath just his beauty, what would he look like when they were indulging in sinful acts, what would he whisper, what would he do.
—You wanted to know...
But, he looked so tired. Probably desperate to just lay in bed and cuddle, we're you really gonna be selfish enough to take that away from him? You didn't want that, so maybe it was alright to wait a bit longer.
"[Name], I heard from Sofie you wanted to talk to me about something.. "
Malcom whispered, pressing his lips against the palm of your hand while he looked down at you with half lidded eyes, not bothering to break eye contact.
Ah, so Sofie had been out to get you.
"Its— not important, you're probably exhausted right? Let's just go to bed—"
As you were about to pull away from his hold, he tightens his arms. Damn his muscular body!
Malcom was determined to get your words out of you, a tired Malcom wasn't easy to deal with.
"You know I don't like you lying to me, spit it out, hm?"
He kept his body firm and pressed you against his chest, he smelt good, he probably showered before coming here.
"I just— it's nothing."
Malcom sighed, giving you one last look of dissatisfaction. He let's go of your hug, which made you whine a bit, his body was warm! Before sitting down at the edge of your bed, pulling you by your arm to fall on his lap. Fuck, this wasn't the best position for someone who had just been craving to get fucked by the man in front of him. Your face was getting warmer and warmer each time he looked at you, this was gonna be hard.
"Please baby? I just wanna know what's botherin' you.. That's all."
He looked a bit sad, wrapping his arms around you waist once more to pull you closer to him, with your legs in between his hips. This man was seriously not helping you.
You let out a sigh, finally giving up on holding your ground. It wasn't like it was that strong anyways.
"I-Its just that, I noticed how we were both a bit stressed out during the semester.. And it made me think, we hadn't really done much to relieve ourselves... So I thought.. Maybe you wanted to.. "
"Make love?"
You blinked, his eyes were soft, but they looked crazed— like he had been waiting so long for this very moment. It honestly made you feel a bit nervous, you weren't prepared for the reaction he would give.
"Ah— yeah, I wanna make love to you, please.. I wanna feel you." You could die from over heating.
But that seemed to be the words he needed to hear, his lips pulling up to a soft smile.
"You could've just said so, I've been wanting for you.."
Before you could respond, he took your lips.
You held onto his bicep to avoid collapsing into his arms, reciprocating the heated kiss. Your abdomen felt like it was burning, just as you were desperately trying to taste every inch of his mouth. His tongue was dominating, sucking onto yours as your salivas was mixed with the messy kiss, occasional gasps and moans leaving your lips.
"Been waiting..so long— fuck."
"ah.. haa..Malcom—"
He pulled away, before returning for another serving, you could feel your head spin a bit. This much more intense your previous make out sessions.
You pull away this time, the string of saliva showing the previous connection of your lips. The illuminating lamp at the top of your cabinet was the only thing that lit up your otherwise pitch dark room. It has how you could see the look of hunger Malcom gave you, he didn't move his face any farther from just an inch, you could feel his hot breath hit your face. He pressed his lips on your right cheek, giving it a wet kiss before lowering his attention to you other half.
"You're so responsive.. [Name], strip for me, yeah? ."
"I-"
You couldn't believe this, when did Malcom become so blunt.
Despite your thoughts, you grabbed the hem of your sweatshirt, it was pretty big compared to you. If anything all of your clothes were to big for you, hiding your body unintentionally. So when you had pulled it off, Malcom stared. He looked so deeply enamored by how your body was made— how well it was made for him.
"You look so beautiful.. Such a pretty body, been hiding their away from for too long haven't you? [Name]."
He connected his lips to your neck, suckling at your skin as he licked and nipped the same spot, stopping and moving to the next. You let out small moans, which made you bite your lip to silence it, but Malcom didn't seem to appreciate it— pulling his lips away from your awfully sensitive skin.
"Don't do that, I wanna hear all you pretty sounds, I want everyone to know how good you feel.. "
You could only reluctantly nod, and let your whined moans strain— your throat from how intensely Malcom was sucking at your skin.
He lowered his attention each time he successful left a mark, using his calloused hands to rub the side of you waist, lowering his hand to squeeze your ass, which made you bite back a squeal.
"You're so cute [Name], wanna see all of you okay?"
You could only nod again, as he gently pulled you shorts down along with you briefs. Showing the obvious erection that had built up throughout the whole thing.
"Such a cute cock.. "
"H-Hey, stop saying embarrassing things.. "
Malcom let out a chuckle, as he kissed your jaw, letting your clothes fall on the floor. He lifts you up and lays your back on the bed as gently as he could, he supports himself on his knees while pulling his shirt off, throwing it carelessly on the floor along with the others.
"You are so fucking beautiful— [Name]"
He leans down to kiss your stomach, going back up to kiss you cheek. Why was he just so loving?
𝘖𝘩 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵.
"I-I bought lube, it's in the cabinet, s-so it'll be easier to..you know."
Malcom sat back up and reached his hand to slide open the cabinet.
"Came prepared huh, baby. Want we to stretch you out?"
"Y-Yeah.."
Malcom smiles, grabbing the tube of lube and squeezing a generous amount on his hand, spreading it throughout his fingers.
"Gonna slide it in okay?"
"O-okay"
He leans back down to hold you and just as he promised, he slid one of his finger in—fuck his finger was bigger than you thought.
"Hm.. You tried stretch yourself out.."
You nodded, burrying your face in his shoulder while he pumped his finger in and out of your hole.
"M' fingers weren't—ah!— e-enough.."
"You did good, I'll do the rest.."
You gasped and wrapped you hands around his torso, your nails piercing at his back, but he didn't seem to mind, only inserting a second finger in to thrust in your hole. The cold lube and his thick fingers were going to kill you, this was too much of a combination.
Malcom was a lot bigger than you thought, he was practically hiding your body from just how broad his shoulders were, not to mention the tent in his sweatpants weren't going unnoticed by just how— big it was..
"Aah—! f-fuck Mal— why are your fingers so big!?"
You screamed, feeling practically all three of his finger simultaneously out thrusting in and out of your hole. This was unfair, you were going to cum untouched at this point!
"You're just small, baby. S'not my fault you're so reactive.." He grinned, his canines displaying. This bastard!
"You—ahh!— wha—"
He hit your spot, and he didn't stop—curling his fingers to press your prostate, which just made you cry out a moan, your toes curling from the unexpected pleasure. This was too much.
He kept going, pumping his fingers and putting pressure on your prostate.
"M-Mal I'm gonna!—"
You came, squirts of white sticky cum came out the tip of your cock, you were holding on for so long. But Malcom looked satisfied, his smile never faltering as he kissed your tear filled eyes, licking away the salty water.
"You did so well baby, m' gonna fill you up now alright?—you look so pretty while cumming."
He pulled his fingers out of your hole, much to your disappointment. Malcom slid his sweatpants off along with his boxers, pumping his cock a few times before grabbing a pack of condom in your cabinet.
He was big, it was obvious, you knew it was going to be possible— but seeing it is leaving you speeches.
"Like what you see? It's all yours honey."
Malcom tears the condom with his teeth, it was hot. You weren't even going to lie about that, but seeing how he was rolling the condom on his cock made you feel dissapointed— you wanted to feel everything, his cock and his cum. You wanted to know how much he could shove inside you before it was too much.
"Ah... C-Can you not wear the condom?"
He looked back with a bit of confusion.
"Hm? Didn't you but this..?"
"Y-Yeah but, i— I want you to fill me."
Something seemed to have snapped inside of Malcom, he let out a small chuckle and dove back to your lips, giving it a rushed kiss.
"I'll fill you to the brim, don't worry baby.. "
He pulls the condom out his cock, throwing it the the side in favor of lining his leaking tip at your gaping hole. Malcom grabbed your thighs and pushed your knees to your chest, letting your cock lay pathetically on your stomach. You sucked in a deep breath as he slowly pushed his cock in.
You let out a shrilled moan, throwing your head back against the sheets of the bed while Malcom had leaned to connect your lips to his, trying to distract you from the hissing pain that was your asshole.
"Relax baby, it'll be in soon.. "
He kept kissing your lips, as you had wrapped your arms round his shoulders, clawing at his back. You would feel bad if it weren't for the incredible feeling of his cock filling your body, it was big—so big.
After a few minutes, you could Malcom's movements stop.
"It's in— m'gonna move now, alright baby?"
"haa—o-okay.."
Malcom's thrust were slow at first, which made you gasp and moan whenever he penetrated in. After a while his pace began quicker, making his cock go deeper and deeper in you.
"S-Shit, you're tight— fuck, you feel heavenly."
You could only cry out, as his cock moved deeper in, feeling every push that rush all the way to your throat. Both of you sweating, panting, and moaning about how good it felt.
His eyes glued onto yours, never breaking eye contact, his hair sticking slightly to his face as he caged you beneath his arms, this was like a fantasy. His cock was moving in and out as he whispered praises to you.
"You're so beautiful, fuck."
And—
"C-can't believe—shit— you were hiding such a sexy body away from me, hun. Not gonna stop until your filled and full, alright?—"
This bastard, acting like he could just say shit like that without making your heart drum. Malcom had kept thrusting his hips, chasing his climax just as much you craved to be stuffed full of his cum.
After a few more thrusting he came, strings of his thick warm cum filling you— to the point where it leaked out of you. But Malcom kept this thrusting, shoving his cum inside whilst latching his lips into yours.
Along with his cum, you came with him, your cum spraying pathetically on your stomach as it went limp.
And finally— he stops, using his cock to plug his cum inside, preventing it to spill out of you. You were full, the feeling of the warm liquid sitting inside your hole as his cock remained inside, you would die from this if you could.
You were both left panting, trying to catch your breath before he grins back down at you.
"How about another round, baby?"
You sipped the mug of coffee that your boyfriend had left you, even leaving a note as a good morning. He had only left a bit ago but he was planning to stay inside the dorm with you to have a date night. You couldn't wait.
A sudden ringing interrupted your thoughts, you checked to see your phone— it was Sofie.
"I should probably thank her.. "
You answered the call and pressed your phone to your ear.
"Yo, [Name]! Hopefully your fuck session went well, I heard it all the way next door! "
"Sofie I'm going to fucking kill you."
✩꙳I hope you enjoyed that! I had never wrote sex scenes before so I hope I did well~

MDNI
Satoru always found it rather tedious whenever you’d ‘purposefully start working in his presence. Knowing his time was limited as it was- and here you were, typing voraciously in the apartment office.
“Do you need something Satoru?” you sighed, not even bothering to look up from the various pieces of paper in front of you. Being able to feel his gaze on you as you tried working.
Satoru held his hand on the doorknob, dramatically exhaling, “Just miss you s’all.” he mumbled, swinging the door back and forth as you flipped through the various pages, trying to find a specific sentence you had read a few days ago.
You scoffed, placing the various pages onto the desk and typing on the computer again. Satoru kept swinging the door back and forth, a small squeak coming from the hinges every time he moved it. All but telling you to look at him, just look at him and he’ll leave you alone.
Squeak, squeak, squeak-
You exasperated, looking up from the computer with pursed lips, “Satoru.” you called through clenched teeth.
“I said I miss you.”
“I heard you.” you mumbled looking back down to the papers as he exhaled, trying to think of ways to pull your attention from your work.
Satoru smiled, a seemingly smart idea popping into his head as he pulled the door closed- leaving it a smidge open, knowing you'd notice. Hoping you'd call him back just to close the door. But you didn’t- you sighed and kept your eyes on the screen.
It wasn't long till Satoru was back at the door frame, your favorite mug in hand. You flashed your eyes up, noticing he was missing a shirt and was wearing his plaid pj pants very, very low on his hips. “Thirsty?” he asked sweetly, holding the mug in his hand as you scowled.
And Jesus, did he fucking look good. His carved torso looked like he just glazed a light layer of baby oil on the ridges, the light happy trail that was all too visible from how low the band of his pj’s were.
You gulped lightly, “If you're trying to tempt me it won’t work ‘toru.” reaching your hand out to the coffee cup and watching the smirk on his face broaden, as though your declaration was a useless attempt at a lie.
You took the cup from his hand, making sure to keep your eyes on his face. Just to be sure he wouldn’t tempt you.
Gojo smiled, leaning down and pressing a kiss to the top of your head before leaning down to your ear, “I'll be in bed if you need me.” he mumbled in an alluring tone. Far too close- his lips practically brushing against the shell of your ear.
You shook your shoulders in a shudder- hearing him huff a smile before leaving the room.
It pained you knowing his attempts were somewhat working. Finding yourself skimming the pages and not processing anything that you read. Every blink you took, a half-naked Satoru flashed in your mind.
You sighed, not being able to focus on the document that was due tonight. Blinking your eyes back to the cracked door Gojo left open purposefully. Toying with the idea of abandoning the document that was a quarter away from being done.
You shook off the thought, picking up a pen and staring back down at the stack of meaningless pages. An unknown amount of time that felt like hours passed, still trying to focus on the black ink.
That was till you heard a loud exaggerated moan seep into the room from the little crack of the door. You furrowed your eyebrows, trying to think if you were imagining it or not.
That was till you heard another- this time your name practically shouted from the bedroom as your eyes widened.
Muffles of ‘-feeelllsss sooo goood,’ in a pornographic voice spill into the room. Your cheeks tingle realizing this was just another scheme to pull you from your work. You sighed, standing up from the rolling chair and slamming the door shut. Loud enough for Satoru to hear.
Gojo was so loud, that even with the door closed, you could hear your name sprinkled between his ear-splitting whines. The bad part was, you didn't know if he was just pretending or if he was actually jacking off. Even worse was how curious you were to see if he was.
Instead of caving- or keeping up this act of you not being tempted by him, you thought up a way to find out if he was doing what you thought he was doing.
You stood up from the chair, opening the door of the office, and immediately hearing the moans coming from the opened door of your bedroom. Nodding your head disapprovingly as you stepped to the doorframe. Looking into the bedroom and seeing that he was indeed- stroking himself on full display.
With an inhale you stepped into the room, avoiding eye contact and walking to your work bag. “You don't- hah,” Satoru tried saying, stroking himself as you crouched to the ground, pulling out a folder and looking through stray pages. “You don't knock anymore?” he huffed, pressing his head back onto the headboard as you sighed.
You scoffed, “This is my room too, ‘toru.” going through the pages before standing. Looking at him with feigned annoyance, watching as he started smiling. His eyebrows furrowed, dramatizing more whimpers as he reached his free hand out to the empty side of the bed.
Gojo huffed a smile, continuing to stroke himself lazily. His previous orgasm coating his tummy proved to you- he was dedicated to luring you away from your work.
“You look stressed-” he whined with a veiled cunning tone, “Join me~” patting your side of the bed softly. Satoru’s tone grew more and more breathless the more you stared at him, as though he was getting off on being watched.
You gave a warm smile, holding the folder of papers you pretended to look for in your hand. “You look like you're doin’ just fine on your own.” you tilted your head sweetly, watching his expression fall along with the pace his wrist kept.
Taking a step towards the door, “Try and keep it down, kay?” you spoke sweetly, practically being able to see the pout form on his lips as you stepped out of the room. Walking back to the office with a tingle roaming on your cheeks, knowing he did all that just to tempt you.
One thing about Satoru was, you could always count on him to make you feel desired. If you were trying to focus on your work- he still made you know that he wanted you- even if you were ignoring him.
As you settled back into the office chair- you knew that thinking about trying to complete your work was futile. Pretty much being able to hear the cogs in Gojo’s brain churn a few feet away.
It wasn't long before the office door opened, a head full of lily-white hair peeking through the cracked door with a meek smile. A small giggle left his throat as he fully stepped in, noticing he had the courtesy of wiping off his previous mess from his tummy.
Satoru’s cock in full view- uncaring if it was throbbing from how worked up he got from knowing you were watching him.
You inhaled, “Satoru..” muttered through clenched teeth, watching him ease himself into the chair in front of your desk. His cheeks blushed and a light sheen of sweat on his chest. You furrowed your eyebrows, all but asking him what he was doing.
“This is my office too~” he sassed, watching your eyes flash back and forth from his flushed face down to your computer. Gojo lightly placed his hand back onto his shaft, “You're always sooo mean to me-” he inhaled, stroking himself as you tried your very best to keep your eyes on your computer.
Pinching his eyebrows while lightly pumping himself, sighing a small moan as he melted into the chair. “You're dirtying my chair.” You mumbled, pretending to type on your computer.
Satoru let out a pleased half-laugh, thralling his head back and letting out a small moan. “And I'm not- mean to you.” You scoffed, being able to hear the vulgar squelches from his hand.
He exhaled with a light, ‘hah’ biting his lip and jerking himself harsher- “Keep talking-” he grinned with a whimper, “I'm almost-” he inhaled, his chest rising and falling as you scoffed, “M’almost t-there.”
“You’re so nasty ‘toru.” you mumbled, playing into his game and peeking your eyes past the top of your computer, being able to see the very tip of his leaky flushed cock.
Gojo whined a delirious breath, being able to feel your eyes on his skin. He hissed through clenched teeth, “I like when you talk to me like that~”
Though the moans from earlier were all too dramatized and blatantly fake- the ones he was huffing out now were straight from his lungs, unable to filter them as you nodded your head unamused.
Satoru was grunting- showing you he was so fucking close. His wrist shook as he tried to avoid his tip. You could see his chest rising and falling more often, fully expecting him to spill his seed on the floor of your office. Only he pulled his hand away at the very last millisecond, whining desperately as though you were the one edging him.
With a sigh, you looked up from your computer and pursed your lips, knowing he would keep this up till you addressed him. Watching the corners of his mouth curl into an appeased smile, knowing you were close to caving. “What’s your goal here, ‘toru.” you crossed your arms on the desk. His eyes sparkling at your question, being able to see the shine circle his pupil.
A sweet giggle leaves Gojo’s throat knowing you've buckled. “I just wanna feel you~” He pouted. Watching your lip tug up with a scoff.
“You're insufferable.” you laughed, standing up from your chair and watching his face light up.
It was true, the minute he walked in, mug in hand and looking fucking scrumptious- you had discarded this useless idea of working.
The second he whispered that little comment in your ear;
“If you need me-”
Denying him the attention he was so clearly asking for became foreplay. From the second he walked out of the office, you knew it, Gojo knew it. Why keep playing this little charade?
You quirked your head- guiding him to sit in your chair as you hooked your fingers onto the sides of your bottoms. Watching Satoru settle into your chair, “I’m gonna finish this. You stay still till I do.” stepping out of your spoiled panties and watching his eyes light up with excitement. Nodding his head up and down as though he knew what you meant.
Satoru sat impatiently in your chair, waiting for you to step between his knees.
And as you planted your hands on the wooden desk top, Satoru placed one palm on your hip as he held the base of his dribbling cock with the other- awaiting you to sink onto him.
Gojo helped your entrance align with his cockhead, a gasp falling from his lips as he felt your soaked cunt take him in with ease. “You got this wet from jus’ watching’ me?” he huffed, hearing soft whimpers fall from your lips as his length stretched you with a light sting.
“God ‘toru- shut up.” You hissed, feeling his tip brush against your sweet spot in passing. Coaxing a shuddering exhale to leave your lips, Satoru grunted when he felt his cock fully rest inside of you- so ready to feel you drag yourself up from his lap.
Only you didn't. You stayed still and tried getting used to the feeling of his tip twitching inside of you.
With a light sigh, you placed your hands back onto the keyboard, rereading the last sentence you wrote before hesitating to start typing. Satoru scoffed, pressing his chin on your shoulder as his hands held onto the malleable skin of your hips.
“You're not gonna move baby?” he mumbled, huffing a warm breath against your ear as you scoffed.
Satoru shifted his hips beneath you, causing his cock to nudge against your walls. A quiet moan fell from your lips at the movement, “I told you- stay still until I finish this.” you sighed, trying to finish the sloppy sentence on the screen.
He grunted into your ear, frustrated that this was all he would get till you were finished. “You said you wanted to feel-” he shifted his hips again, pushing your hips down onto his cock. Causing you to let out a small moan. “Satoru!” you scolded, being able to feel his cheeks rise against your neck in a smile at your reprimand.
“Okay, okay. I'll behave.” he shuddered, holding your hips with a mean grip as you started typing again.
And Satoru tried, he really did. But with every single little shift of your hips and every hiss of ‘Stop moving.’ Gojo got more, and more impatient.
So to tempt you- yet again. Satoru dipped his hand between your thighs, being able to hear your typing halt and your shoulders tense against his chin. You were about to scold him- but he pressed his fingertips onto your neglected clit softly, a sigh leaving your lips in response with a wave of goosebumps rising on your arms. “Toru-” you gasped, feeling his fingers lazily circle your clit.
“Lemme make you feel good~” he hummed into your ear, being able to feel your cunt clench around his cock in tandem with every little circle he made.
You inhaled, easing your hands off of the keys and closing your eyes. Dissolving in his hands, the one on your hip guiding you to raise yourself a little, sighing as you slowly rose off of his lap.
His fingers made firmer circles on your clit as his hand led you to sink back down onto his cock. And then back up again with small whimpers leaving your lips. Bracing your hands on the edge of the desk as you lazily bounced on his cock.
Gojo inhaled with a small entertained laugh, watching you struggle to keep a set pace, “So much for your little docu-” you clenched your walls at his teasing remark causing him to let out a moan mixed with a hiss.
Satoru only offered quiet exhales and frustrated whimpers at your attempts. Being shoved into the chair with every agonizingly slow bounce you sank onto his cock. Gojo tapped your hip lightly, all but saying to hang on for a second.
You held yourself on the very tip of his cock, the muscles of your walls pulsing against his cockhead. Satoru slightly raised himself from the chair, sliding his cock back into you. His hand guided your hip to bend over the desk, feeling his hips press against the curve of your ass as he bent with you.
Keeping his pace steady on your clit as he ground his hips against you, “f-faster ‘toru-” you moaned as he pressed his forehead onto your nape trying to focus on not cumming already.
Though he denied your request, he quickened the pace of his fingers on your clit.
Gojo let out a small whimper, “I go any faster and I'll c-cum-” he whined, being able to feel you getting closer and closer with every twitch and tremble your cunt reverberated onto his cock.
It wasn't long before you started warning you were close, his slow strokes barely nudging against that sweet spot making your head fuzzy. So close to an orgasm- you could taste it. And Satoru could feel it pulse against his shaft.
Gojo placed the hand on your hip atop yours that was splayed on the wooden top. Whining against your ear as you clenched around him. And that's when Satoru pulled his hips from you, taking a split second to breathe before snapping his hips back into you with a low grunt. Dragging out his cock in a hurry- thrusting back into you and syncing the roll of his hips with the unpatterned movements against your clit. Writhing back into him as his hips drilled into you, Satoru’s breathless whines brushed against your ear, feeling your walls flutter around his shaft.
“Cum inside ‘toru-” you huffed in a breathy moan, feeling his chest press against your back, keeping a relentless pace with his hips. Satoru let out a loud whimper at your words- his fingers stuttering their circles against you.
A fussy breath left his throat as he tried to speak, “m’cumm- im cu-” Gojo tried warning, his eyes squeezed tight and his eyebrows pinched together. Though you couldn't see it, his cheeks were flushed with a rosy pink. A light glaze on his forehead from his efforts of trying not to cum.
Finally unloading himself into you- dense spurts of his seed coating your walls. A low moan fell from your lips at feeling his hand slow against your clit. Incoherent curses littered with whimpers between them were breathed into your ear as he slowed his hips. His seed dared to spill out with every little thrust he took.
Satoru’s pelvis wanted to keep thrusting- wanting to try and ride down from the edged orgasm you milked from him. But in his mind, he needed to get back at you for your earlier denials.
Huffing heavy breaths against the shell of your ear as his hips steadied, keeping his cock nuzzled deep inside of you- fearing the tiniest movement would cause your cunt to start spilling his hard-earned cum. And that? Satoru was not ready for.
So as an effort to keep as much of his thick seed inside of you, he placed his hand back onto your hip. Making sure to keep your cunt still as he eased both of you back onto the chair, your body malleable to his manhandling.
Your thighs spasm lightly as you come down from your orgasm. Feet daring to stumble as he eased down into the chair, holding your hip with his messied hand and the other making sure you didn't move on his lap.
It took a second to realize what Satoru was doing- blinking a few times before realizing he reached his hand to your keyboard, pulling it closer to you with an obvious smile. His breath still tickling your ear as he puffed an amused grin, “Let's just go to the bedroom ‘toru-” you whined, hoping he still had enough in him to keep going.
But the small laugh that was wisped against your ear made you realize that not only- did he have more than enough in him to keep going. But you knew he was just stubborn and cruel enough to do this to you.
His cock refused to soften inside of you, being able to feel his overstimulated cockhead twitch inside your stuffed cunt. Gojo pressed his flushed lips to your ear in a lazy peck, “You said this was due tonight~” he murmured into your ear as he held your hip still with one hand.
“Finish it and then we can play.” He giggled against your ear causing you to shiver in his grasp.
Even if Satoru was the one who was begging for your attention at first- he always made sure you were the one asking for more once he received it.

JAYCE
The Academy halls hummed with quiet energy, the rhythmic murmur of voices mingling with the distant hum of machinery and the occasional metallic clink of tools. Y/N moved purposefully through the corridors, her arms cradling an eclectic collection of blueprints, sketches, and notes. The crisp parchment edges tickled her fingers, and the faint scent of ink and graphite followed her like a familiar companion. As she passed by bustling classrooms and open workspaces, a few students glanced her way, their expressions a mix of awe and curiosity—Y/N Talis, wife of Jayce Talis, the formidable engineer and brilliant mind in her own right, always left an impression.
She turned the final corner leading to Jayce's lab, her heels clicking against the polished floors with a measured precision. Through the large glass window of the door, she spotted him instantly. Jayce’s broad shoulders were hunched slightly as he leaned over his workstation, gesturing animatedly with a spanner in hand. His deep, confident voice carried faintly through the barrier, underscored by his natural charisma. Opposite him stood a young woman, her bright eyes locked on him as though he were the sun, her posture leaning just enough to blur the line between attentive and overly familiar.
The girl’s hand rested lightly on Jayce’s arm, her laughter too airy, her smile too wide. Y/N’s lips quirked into a small, knowing smile. She recognised the type—the overeager assistant or ambitious student hoping for a little more than professional mentorship. It wasn’t the first time she’d seen someone vying for Jayce’s attention, and it likely wouldn’t be the last. But jealousy wasn’t in her nature, not when she trusted Jayce with everything she had. Instead, she found the situation mildly amusing, like watching a play unfold where the ending was already written.
Shifting the weight of the documents in her arms, Y/N stepped forward, nudging the door open with her hip. The quiet creak of the hinges was enough to break the conversation inside.
“Jayce,” she called, her voice smooth and warm, yet with an undeniable edge of authority that filled the space effortlessly.
Jayce’s head snapped up at the sound of her voice, his expression shifting from focused concentration to unabashed delight. “Y/N!” he exclaimed, his eyes lighting up like a man seeing the love of his life walk into the room—which, of course, she was. “Perfect timing. I was just talking about the diagrams you’re carrying.”
The young woman stiffened slightly, her hand withdrawing from Jayce’s arm as though burned. Her eyes flickered to Y/N, quickly assessing her presence. Y/N stepped into the lab fully, her movements confident and unhurried, and placed the stack of blueprints and notes onto the table nearest Jayce. She dusted off her hands and turned towards him, her lips curving into a soft, genuine smile.
“Got everything you asked for,” she said casually, though there was an unmistakable tenderness in her tone. Without hesitation, she leaned up on her toes and pressed a deliberate kiss to his lips, her hand brushing his jawline gently.
Jayce responded instantly, his free hand instinctively finding the small of her back. The kiss was brief but unmissable, a silent declaration to anyone watching that Y/N was his and he was hers. When they parted, Jayce’s eyes lingered on her face, a lopsided grin tugging at his lips. “You’re a lifesaver, love,” he murmured, his tone dripping with affection.
Y/N’s gaze shifted to the girl, who now stood awkwardly by the workstation, her posture tense, her smile faltering. “And who’s this?” Y/N asked, her tone polite but laced with an unspoken firmness that immediately established her dominance in the room. “Do you need something?”
The girl blinked, visibly caught off guard. “Oh, um,” she stammered, her cheeks flushing a deep crimson. “I was just... asking Mr Talis about some technical details for my project.”
Jayce nodded, his hand still resting on Y/N’s back as he explained. “She’s working on a research proposal,” he said, his tone easy but entirely professional. “Needed a bit of advice.”
Y/N tilted her head slightly, her expression remaining kind but unwavering. “Well, you’ve come to the right person,” she said with a faint smile, her eyes locking with the girl’s. “Jayce is brilliant at this sort of thing. He loves helping others.”
Her words were friendly enough, but the subtle shift in her posture—standing closer to Jayce, her hand lightly brushing his arm—spoke volumes. She wasn’t just Jayce’s partner in work; she was his partner in life, and she had no intention of letting anyone forget that.
The girl’s smile grew increasingly strained. She quickly began gathering her notes, her movements rushed and clumsy. “Right... Well, thank you for your time, Mr Talis,” she said, her voice pitched slightly higher than before. “I’ll, um, follow up later if I have more questions.” She hesitated for a fraction of a second, her eyes darting between the couple, before practically fleeing the lab. The door clicked shut behind her, the sound echoing faintly in the now-quiet room.
Jayce let out a low chuckle, shaking his head as he turned to Y/N. “You handled that like a pro,” he said, his tone filled with admiration.
Y/N shrugged, leaning into his side with a sly smile. “I trust you,” she said simply. “But if someone’s getting touchy, I’m not going to let them think they have a chance.”
He grinned, his hand moving to cup her cheek as he looked down at her. “Good. Because I’m yours and only yours.”
“Damn right you are,” Y/N teased, her eyes sparkling with mischief. She nudged him playfully before turning back to the stack of blueprints. Unrolling one of them, she scanned the intricate diagrams, her brows furrowing slightly. “Now, let’s get back to work. I don’t have time to fend off your fan club all day.”
Jayce laughed, the rich sound filling the lab. “Deal. But for the record, you’re the only admirer I care about.”
Y/N glanced up at him, her heart swelling at the sincerity in his voice. She reached out, brushing her fingers against his. “Good answer,” she murmured with a smirk before refocusing on the blueprint in her hands.
As they settled into their work, the earlier interruption faded into the background, replaced by the quiet, easy rhythm of their partnership. The hum of the lab surrounded them, but nothing could compare to the unspoken understanding and love that passed between them with every shared glance and touch. Together, they were unstoppable.
VIKTOR
The bustling streets of Piltover's marketplace were alive with chatter, laughter, and the vibrant colours of countless stalls. Merchants called out to passers-by, enticing them with promises of rare spices, glittering trinkets, and the finest textiles in the city. Children darted between legs, their laughter ringing out like bells, while the smell of freshly baked bread and roasted chestnuts wafted through the crisp afternoon air.
Y/N walked beside Viktor, her hand brushing his every so often as they strolled. Her humming was soft, barely audible over the noise of the market, but it was enough for Viktor to catch the tune. He smiled to himself, matching his steps with hers as best he could, his cane tapping lightly against the cobblestones with every measured step.
Viktor didn’t often venture into the crowded streets of Piltover. The chaotic energy of the marketplace wasn’t exactly his domain—he preferred the quiet order of his lab. But with Y/N beside him, her boundless curiosity and infectious excitement made the marketplace feel almost magical.
As they wandered further into the maze of stalls, Y/N’s attention flitted from one display to the next. A vendor showcasing intricately carved wooden figurines caught her eye, then another selling jars of honey so golden they seemed to glow in the sunlight. Without even realising it, she drifted a few steps ahead, her gaze fixed on a stall overflowing with brightly coloured fabrics.
Viktor paused, noticing her absence. He turned his head, searching the crowd until he caught a glimpse of her dark hair weaving through the throng. A fond smile tugged at his lips as he watched her. “Always in her own world,” he murmured, shaking his head affectionately before beginning his careful pursuit.
Y/N, meanwhile, had been drawn to a flower vendor’s stall. The display was stunning—a riot of colours spilling out from buckets and vases, the petals dewy and fragrant. She leaned in to inhale the scent of a bouquet of violets, their delicate purple hues catching the light. The scent was intoxicating, a sweet reminder of open fields and quiet meadows.
“You’ve got a good eye for beauty,” a voice interrupted her reverie. Y/N straightened and turned to find a tall, broad-shouldered man standing beside her, his grin as self-assured as his tone. He gestured toward the violets she’d been admiring. “But they’ve got nothing on you.”
Y/N blinked, caught slightly off guard, but her expression quickly shifted into one of polite friendliness. “Thank you,” she said, her tone light and neutral. “I was just admiring the flowers.”
The man stepped closer, clearly emboldened. “Maybe I could buy you a bouquet? What’s your favourite? Roses? Daffodils?”
Y/N shook her head gently, trying not to sound curt. “That’s kind of you, but I’m just browsing.”
The man didn’t take the hint. “Oh, come on. A pretty woman like you deserves to be spoiled.” His grin widened, his tone oozing smug confidence, as if he were certain she’d melt under his charm.
Before Y/N could respond, a familiar voice cut through the noise. “Am I interrupting something?”
She turned to see Viktor standing a few paces away, his golden eyes sharp despite the calm expression on his face. He leaned slightly on his cane, his posture steady and self-assured despite his evident limp.
The stranger frowned, his gaze flicking dismissively over Viktor’s figure, lingering on the brace on his leg and the cane in his hand. “No offence, mate,” the man said, his tone dripping with condescension, “but this doesn’t concern you. Why don’t you hobble off and leave the lady to someone who can actually keep up with her?”
Y/N’s polite smile vanished instantly, replaced by a glare that could have frozen the sun. Before she could speak, Viktor stepped closer, his cane clicking against the stones as he approached.
His eyes met hers for a brief moment, and in that glance, they shared an unspoken understanding—a silent agreement that this man wasn’t worth their time.
Viktor turned his attention back to the stranger, his expression calm but resolute. “I would suggest you leave my wife alone,” he said, his tone measured but carrying a quiet authority that demanded respect.
The stranger blinked, momentarily stunned. “Your wife?” he repeated, disbelief written all over his face.
Viktor didn’t bother to answer. Instead, he reached into his coat pocket, pulled out a few coins, and handed them to the flower vendor. He carefully selected a bouquet of violets—the same ones Y/N had been admiring—and held them out to her, his smile softening.
“For you, moje krásná paní manželka,” he said, his voice warm and tinged with a playful emphasis on the words. (My pretty lady wife)
Y/N’s expression melted into one of pure affection. She took the flowers from him, her smile radiant as she leaned in to press a kiss to his cheek. “Thank you, darling,” she murmured, her voice sweet enough to make the stranger’s ears burn.
Viktor offered the man one final glance—polite but firm. “Now, if you’ll excuse us, we have somewhere important to be.”
Without waiting for a response, he extended his free hand to Y/N, who slipped her fingers through his without hesitation. Together, they turned and walked away, leaving the flustered man standing speechless by the flower stall.
As they rejoined the flow of the marketplace, Y/N gave Viktor’s hand a gentle squeeze. “You didn’t have to do that,” she said, her voice soft but touched with gratitude.
Viktor chuckled, a quiet sound that rumbled pleasantly in his chest. “Perhaps not,” he replied, his tone teasing. “But I couldn’t let him think he had a chance, could I?”
She laughed, the sound bright and warm as the sun overhead. “My hero,” she said, her smile playful but her eyes shining with sincerity.
Viktor glanced down at her, his golden eyes brimming with affection. “And you,” he said softly, “are worth every flower in Piltover.”
JAYVIK
The grand hall of the gala glittered with opulence, the lights bouncing off the crystalline chandeliers and polished marble floors. A soft murmur of chatter, laughter, and the occasional clink of glasses filled the space. Y/N stood off to the side with Viktor, her arm looped casually through his. The pair, along with Mel Medarda, were engaged in polite conversation about recent developments in Piltover politics, though the conversation flowed easily to lighter subjects, like the evening’s extravagant décor.
As Mel’s laughter tapered off, her dark eyes drifted past Y/N and Viktor, honing in on a familiar figure across the room. She smirked knowingly and tilted her glass towards the scene. “Your Jayce appears to be quite the centre of attention tonight.”
Y/N and Viktor turned their heads in unison, their gazes falling on Jayce. The tall inventor stood amidst a small group of men and women, all hanging onto his every word. His confidence was magnetic, and it was clear he was enjoying himself, though the crowd seemed just a bit too interested. Hands brushed his arm, fingers lingered on his shoulder, and laughter bubbled up too freely from his admirers.
Viktor hummed, his lips twitching in mild annoyance. “Like moths to a flame,” he remarked dryly, leaning more heavily on his cane.
Y/N sighed, her eyes narrowing slightly. “Honestly, they’re practically swarming him,” she muttered. She took a sip of her champagne, her grip on the glass tightening. “Do they not see the ring on his finger?”
“Do they care?” Viktor countered, raising a brow. He exchanged a glance with Y/N, both of them clearly on the same page. Jayce might be their husband, but that didn’t mean they were above feeling a twinge of jealousy at the scene before them.
Mel chuckled, an elegant, knowing sound that drew their attention back to her. “Now, now,” she teased, “don’t do anything rash. You’ll only make it more amusing for them.” Her sharp eyes gleamed with mischief as she took a slow sip from her glass. “Besides, we wouldn’t want to start a scene, would we?”
Viktor rolled his eyes, though the corner of his mouth twitched in amusement. “Rash? Us? Never,” he said, voice dripping with sarcasm.
Y/N let out a quiet laugh but folded her arms across her chest, unable to entirely suppress the spark of annoyance. “Maybe I should go remind him that he’s the one who’s supposed to stay by our sides, not entertain every vulture that flutters by.”
“Oh, but you’re far more captivating when you let him sweat a little,” Mel pointed out with a sly grin. “He’s a smart man—he’ll realise soon enough.”
As if sensing their gazes, Jayce glanced over, his broad smile faltering slightly when he caught the looks Y/N and Viktor were sending his way. His admirers seemed not to notice, but Jayce’s shoulders straightened, and he offered them a sheepish smile.
Y/N smirked, raising her glass towards him in a silent toast. Viktor gave a subtle shake of his head, a small but unmistakable warning. Jayce quickly excused himself from the group, weaving through the crowd to join his partners.
When he finally reached them, Jayce rubbed the back of his neck, his usual confidence a little diminished. “I see you noticed my, uh… predicament.”
Y/N arched a brow. “Predicament? Looked like you were having the time of your life.”
“More like being circled by sharks,” Viktor quipped, though there was no real venom in his tone.
Jayce huffed out a laugh, sliding an arm around both of them. “You know there’s only two people I’d rather spend my time with.”
“Smart answer,” Y/N said, though her tone was laced with affection.
“Very,” Viktor agreed, leaning slightly into Jayce’s side. “But don’t let it happen again.”
Before Jayce could respond, Y/N’s sharp eyes flicked over his shoulder, catching sight of two of his earlier admirers hesitantly making their way towards them. They were still wearing the same overly polite smiles, clearly unwilling to relinquish his attention just yet. Y/N let out a quiet, guttural sound—not quite a growl, but close enough to make Viktor glance at her with an amused expression.
“Oh no,” Viktor murmured under his breath, his lips twitching with humour. “You’re doing the thing again.”
“Let me handle it,” Y/N whispered, her voice dangerously sweet as her eyes tracked the approaching pair. “I’m not in the mood for this nonsense.”
Jayce followed her gaze, his brows knitting together as he realised who was coming. He sighed, stepping slightly in front of his partners in an instinctive gesture of protection. “I’ll—”
“No,” Y/N interrupted firmly, her free hand lightly pressing against his chest. “They’ve had more than enough of your time.”
Mel, observing the exchange, covered her mouth to hide her grin. “I do enjoy seeing you three in action,” she remarked, swirling her champagne. “It’s always so… theatrical.”
Viktor straightened slightly, gripping his cane as if considering stepping in himself. “Let them come,” he said dryly, though his tone held an edge. “I’d like to see how bold they really are.”
As the pair drew closer, Y/N’s glare sharpened into something almost predatory. The intensity of her stare must have registered because they hesitated, exchanged a few murmured words, and quickly retreated back into the crowd.
Jayce let out a relieved laugh, shaking his head. “I didn’t realise I’d married such a formidable pair.”
Y/N smirked, lifting her glass in mock toast. “It’s not formidable—it’s called protecting what’s ours.”
“And I wouldn’t have it any other way,” Jayce said, his voice full of warmth as he pulled them both closer.
Mel tilted her head, raising her glass to them. “Now, that is how you command a room without saying a word. Bravo.”
VANDER
Y/N was bustling about the dimly lit chaos of The Last Drop, weaving through the crowd with the practised ease of someone who’d worked the bar for years. The tavern was alive with noise: laughter, shouts, clinking glasses, and the occasional thud of a fist meeting a table in emphasis. The air smelled of spilled ale, sweat, and smoke, but Y/N didn’t mind. She thrived in this environment. She always carried herself with an air of calm grace, even amidst the most chaotic nights, her presence grounding to both the regulars and the staff.
Tonight was no different—at least, not at first. But as the hours ticked by, she couldn’t shake the feeling of being watched. A quick glance confirmed it: a table in the corner, occupied by a group of men who’d been lingering far too long over their drinks, their gazes lingering far too long on her.
She ignored them as best she could, continuing to flit between tables, clearing mugs, taking orders, and flashing her polite smile at every lewd comment thrown her way. It wasn’t uncommon in a place like this, but it didn’t make it any less tiresome. She was used to handling herself, though. She always had been.
Eventually, the inevitable happened. She approached the corner table to clear the growing collection of empty mugs. One of the men, a scruffy fellow with a greasy grin, leaned back in his chair and extended his boot, blocking her path with an exaggerated smirk.
"Well, aren’t you a pretty thing," he slurred, his words thick with drink and arrogance. His eyes roamed over her in a way that made her skin crawl. "Didn’t know The Last Drop hired angels to serve the likes of us."
Y/N kept her expression neutral, though her polite smile remained firmly in place. She expertly sidestepped his boot, bending slightly to collect the mugs without missing a beat. “Just doing my job,” she replied smoothly, her tone calm and professional. “What can I get you?”
The man’s companions chuckled, their laughter carrying the kind of oily smugness that sent a flicker of annoyance through her. She didn’t let it show, focusing instead on scribbling down their order. But one of the men leaned forward, his smirk widening as his eyes caught the glint of her wedding ring.
"That ring of yours, love,” he said, his voice dripping with condescension. “Bet whoever put it there can’t protect you like we could. Someone like you needs a man who can actually handle himself.” He sat back, clearly pleased with his own bravado, as his companions snickered.
Y/N felt a flicker of irritation, but her smile didn’t falter. She was used to comments like this, and she knew how to brush them off without escalating the situation. Still, she opened her mouth to respond, ready to deliver a cutting yet professional retort—when the hairs on the back of her neck stood on end.
A familiar presence loomed behind her, and a long shadow fell across the table. The men’s chuckles faded as they slowly realised they were no longer the centre of attention. Vander had arrived.
“Is that right?” came his low, gravelly voice, calm but brimming with a quiet menace that sent a chill through the room.
Y/N didn’t even flinch. She glanced over her shoulder, her smile softening slightly at the sight of her husband. Vander stood tall, his arms crossed over his broad chest, his imposing figure radiating authority. His eyes, cold and calculating, were fixed on the men at the table.
The scruffy man who had spoken earlier shifted uncomfortably in his chair, his cocky grin faltering. "Just a bit of fun,” he muttered, his bravado evaporating under Vander’s piercing gaze.
“Funny,” Vander said, his tone deceptively calm as he leaned down slightly, resting a large, calloused hand on Y/N’s lower back. “Because it sounded like you were asking for a different kind of lesson.”
The weight of his words hung heavy in the air, and the men exchanged uneasy glances. Y/N, ever composed, placed the tray down on the table with practised ease, her polite smile still firmly in place.
“Well then,” she said cheerfully, her tone light and unconcerned, “your drinks will be out shortly.” Her calm demeanour only seemed to emphasise Vander’s silent warning, and she could feel his hand resting protectively against her back.
Vander straightened, his gaze never leaving the table as he addressed the men one final time. "You’d best remember where you are. And who runs it." His voice dropped lower, almost a growl. "You don’t touch what’s mine."
The men muttered hurried apologies, their confidence thoroughly shattered. They couldn’t look anywhere but their table as Y/N turned to continue her work, Vander following close behind her. When they reached the bar, she glanced up at him with a teasing smile, her expression amused.
“Subtle as ever, aren’t you?” she said softly, reaching for a fresh tray of mugs.
Vander huffed a quiet laugh, the tension easing from his shoulders as he leaned against the bar. His hand brushed hers, a quiet reassurance. “Didn’t like the way they looked at you.”
“I noticed.” She leaned up on her toes, Vander bending down a little, to press a quick kiss to his cheek, her smile warm. “But I’ve got it handled. Besides, I don’t think anyone’s going to try anything now.”
Vander smiled down at her, his hand resting briefly against her cheek before dropping to his side. “Damn right they won’t.”
Despite the earlier tension, the moment between them felt light, easy. Y/N returned to her work with a renewed sense of calm, while Vander lingered near the bar, his protective gaze ensuring no one else even thought about testing their luck.
SILCO
The dim light of Silco's office cast long shadows across the room, the flickering flames of the lamps accentuating his sharp features. He sat at his desk, fingers steepled, eyes narrowed in thought as he spoke with a man from one of the lesser factions in Zaun. Silco's voice was calm, calculated, but there was an edge to it—a clear warning not to waste his time. His presence alone commanded authority, but there was something more palpable in the air. The unspoken understanding that crossing him would be a mistake—one no one would make twice.
And then, there was you.
Leaning languidly against the edge of Silco's desk, you were a vision of confidence, of power masked behind the allure of your smile. Your body was angled just enough to hold the man’s attention, your eyes locked onto his, but always, always dancing over him as if to draw him in. Your lips curled into a sultry smile, soft and inviting, while your fingers traced the smooth surface of the desk, the subtle motion hypnotic, like the flick of a predator’s tail.
You knew exactly what you were doing. Your touch, the slow movements of your hands, they were designed to disarm, to draw attention away from Silco’s calculated threats and promises. The man—poor fool—couldn’t seem to focus on a single word Silco was saying. His eyes darted between you and the dangerous man across the desk, unable to stop himself from being pulled into your orbit. You could practically see his resolve crumbling, his thoughts scrambling as your presence enveloped him.
You leaned forward slightly, close enough to make him tense, your hand brushing lightly across the man’s shoulder. His breath caught, eyes widening as you spoke, your voice a soft, lilting purr that made his chest tighten. "You know," you murmured, the words laced with honeyed temptation, "working with us could benefit you more than you think. I can promise, we make it worth your while."
The man stammered, lost for words as your fingers trailed slowly down the front of his chest. Your touch was delicate but deliberate, each movement designed to toy with him, to make him feel as if he were the only person in the room. His pulse quickened as he tried to compose himself, but you leaned in just enough for your lips to hover close to his ear, the scent of your perfume clouding his mind.
Silco watched all of it, his gaze as cold as steel. His fingers tightened imperceptibly around the edge of his desk, the movement barely noticeable, but his jaw clenched with restraint. He knew exactly what you were doing. You were a black widow—using your beauty, your charm, your body as a weapon, a tool to distract, to ensnare, to get what you wanted. And he couldn't help but admire it, in all its lethal precision. You had always been a master of manipulation, drawing people into your web with ease, your every move calculated to make them underestimate the danger you posed.
It was thrilling, watching you weave your spell, but it was dangerous too. Because while he had seen many fall prey to your charms, seeing your hands on another man, your lips curling with that teasing smile—it stirred something in him that wasn’t just a sharp sense of control, but a possessiveness, an urge to protect what was his, and a frustration that he couldn’t fully contain. It was a feeling that didn’t make sense, one that was far from rational, but it was there nonetheless, simmering beneath the surface.
A flare of jealousy—sharp, immediate—flashed through him.
"Enough," Silco snapped, his voice cutting through the tension like a whip cracking through the air. The man jumped, startled, his eyes shifting between Silco and you, as if trying to gauge his next move. But Silco’s glare was as unforgiving as a blade, and the man was no fool. "Leave. Now."
The man blinked, the fear creeping into his eyes as he quickly gathered himself. His hands fumbled as he straightened his clothes, his voice shaking as he stammered a hasty apology. Silco's gaze, cold and commanding, made it clear there was no room for argument. The man didn’t hesitate; he fled, the door slamming behind him as though it were a final punctuation to his presence in Silco’s domain.
You turned slowly towards Silco, your lips curving into a teasing smile. You could feel the shift in the air, the subtle tension that thickened as you stood before him. Your brow arched, and you tilted your head, a faint, innocent look in your eyes that did little to mask the playfulness beneath. "What?" you asked, your voice lilting, soft as you returned his gaze. "I was just making sure he didn’t get distracted."
Silco’s expression remained unreadable for a moment, but his movements betrayed his inner thoughts. He stood abruptly, stepping around the desk with the calculated grace of a predator, his eyes never leaving yours. He moved with purpose, each step measured, predatory. His presence closed in around you like a tightening noose, and you knew there was no escape from the storm you had stirred.
"What was that, darling?" His voice was low, a growl wrapped in silk, the words heavy with dark intent. He stopped in front of you, his towering presence forcing you to tilt your head back to meet his gaze. "Don’t play coy with me."
You shrugged nonchalantly, not an ounce of fear in your posture, but there was a flicker of something in his eyes that made your pulse quicken. "Just helping you seal the deal. He seemed… distracted. I thought a little charm might keep him focused."
He moved suddenly, his hand darting out to grip your chin, not with violence, but with the firm authority that only he could wield. His fingers were like iron around you, tilting your head up to meet his gaze. You couldn’t look away, caught in the heat of his glare, the raw intensity of his gaze burning through you like a brand. "You think I need your… charm to make people listen to me?" His voice was dangerously soft, but the underlying threat was clear.
You smirked, undeterred, a glint of mischief in your eyes. "Of course not. But it doesn’t hurt to have a little insurance, does it?"
His thumb brushed over your bottom lip, a slow, deliberate motion that made your breath catch. His other hand slid to your waist, pulling you closer, his body pressing into yours as his breath ghosted over your ear. "And what about me, Y/N?" he whispered, his voice dark, thick with a possessiveness you could feel radiating off him. "Watching you touch him, lean into him like that…" His hand moved to the small of your back, fingers splaying out as though claiming you in front of him, as if the very air around you belonged to him. "Do you enjoy testing my patience?"
Your smirk faltered, just slightly. His jealousy was palpable, raw, and it sent a shiver of excitement down your spine. You’d never seen him so openly possessive. "I didn’t mean anything by it," you murmured, your voice dropping into something more sincere, more vulnerable. "You know that."
His lips brushed against your ear, the feel of his breath sending a tremor through you. "I do," he said, his voice laced with dark satisfaction. "But I can’t stand the sight of another man’s hands near you—or yours on him." His grip on your waist tightened, pulling you flush against him, and the sharp edges of his anger twisted into something more primal. "I think you need a reminder of who you belong to."
Before you could respond, his lips claimed yours with a hunger that nearly knocked the breath from your lungs. His kiss was fierce, possessive, claiming, as if he wanted to mark you, to make you remember where you belonged. His hands moved over you, gripping your hips tightly, possessively, as though daring the universe itself to try and take you from him. You melted into the kiss, the heat between you both burning bright and consuming.
When he finally pulled back, his eyes were dark, hooded with desire, but beneath that, there was something more—an unspoken command. His voice was a low rasp, filled with a raw edge. "You’re mine, Y/N," he whispered, each word dripping with possessiveness. "And don’t you forget it."
A sly smile crept across your face, despite the heavy weight of his words. You leaned into him, your hands sliding up his chest, fingers tracing the hard lines of his muscles, and your lips brushed against his ear. "How could I, with the way you remind me?"
His smirk returned, but it was sharper, more dangerous. "Good," he growled, his fingers tangling in your hair, pulling you closer as though there was no distance he was willing to allow. "Because next time, I won’t be so… patient."
As the air around you thickened with desire, you could feel the undeniable shift in power—you were his, and you always would be. The game had changed. And Silco, in all his quiet, commanding intensity, had reminded you just how much control he had over you, body and soul.
JINX/POWDER
The sun was sinking lower in the sky, casting long shadows over Zaun's rundown streets. The city had always been a place of stark contrasts—grimy and industrial, yet teeming with life, especially in the market district. Y/N sat on an old, weathered bench, legs crossed, her hands resting loosely in her lap as she hummed a soft melody, her gaze distant. The hustle and bustle around her seemed to fade as she focused on the simple pleasure of the moment.
A small cluster of Zaun’s children had gathered around her, forming a loose circle. They were entranced by her calm, collected presence. Her voice, a soft mix of wisdom and warmth, flowed effortlessly as she spoke to them.
“I don’t care if you make mistakes,” she said with a reassuring smile, her eyes flicking between the eager faces of the kids. “We all do. But that’s not what matters. What matters is what you do after. You can keep making the same mistake, or you can learn from it and move forward. What are you gonna do?”
The children’s eyes lit up, hanging on her every word, nodding along as if absorbing each bit of advice like a sponge. Y/N had become their unspoken anchor in this chaotic world, a person they could rely on for more than just survival tips. She gave them hope in a place that had little of it to spare, and they respected her deeply for it. Whether they sought advice on how to stay out of trouble or simply needed someone to listen, Y/N was always there.
Her thoughts were interrupted by the sudden, unmistakable sound of someone shifting through the alleyways, their footsteps quick and light, a telltale sign of someone who wasn’t trying to be discreet. Y/N smiled softly to herself, knowing exactly who it was, even before she looked up.
The familiar rustling of Jinx's footsteps echoed through the air, and sure enough, the moment Y/N’s gaze lifted, she spotted her—her hair a chaotic mess of blue curls, eyes narrowed in a way that meant only one thing: mischief. Jinx’s gaze, however, was fixed firmly on the group of kids gathered around Y/N.
Y/N could practically hear the gears turning in Jinx's head. The older woman could see the sharp lines of irritation appearing across Jinx’s face, her lips curling into an almost predatory smirk. Her eyes—those wild, electric blue eyes—glowed with a certain intensity that made her presence undeniably formidable.
“They’re all over you, huh?” Jinx asked, her voice tinged with an edge of annoyance that only she could mask with that signature grin. “What’s the deal with that? They’re... like... swarming you, and I’m standing here, like, totally ignored.”
Y/N chuckled, her laugh light but full of affection. She turned to meet Jinx’s gaze, watching the younger woman as she crossed her arms over her chest, a sulking pout beginning to form.
“They just look up to me, Jinx,” Y/N said, raising an eyebrow. “I’m the one who’s been around longer. They’re kids; they need someone to look to. You know that.”
But before Y/N could say more, Jinx had already taken a step forward, her posture suddenly rigid with determination. Her eyes locked onto the children, who had begun to slowly back away, sensing her unsettling presence. Without a word, Jinx raised a hand, giving them a slow, deliberate glare. It was the kind of look that could freeze anyone in place, a mixture of warning and threat that sent a chill through the air.
The kids, wide-eyed and stiff with fear, began to scatter. One by one, they scurried away, no longer able to stand their ground against the unpredictable force of Jinx. Y/N shook her head with an exasperated but fond smile.
“Jinx,” she called, her voice light, “you really need to stop scaring them off like that.”
Jinx let out a huff, her arms still crossed, and her pout deepened, lips curving into a sulky frown. “They were getting too close to you,” she muttered, her voice quiet but dripping with possessiveness. “They were... I don’t like it when they crowd you like that.”
Y/N rose from the bench, her movements slow and deliberate as she walked over to Jinx. She stood in front of her for a moment, taking in the conflicted expression on Jinx’s face. She could see the underlying vulnerability beneath the tough exterior, and it made her heart soften.
With a gentle touch, Y/N placed her hands on Jinx’s shoulders, leaning down slightly to meet her gaze. “Oh, sweetheart,” she said, her voice soft and affectionate, “you don’t have to worry about them. They don’t want to take me from you. They look up to me because I’ve been here longer. But you…” She paused, her thumb lightly brushing across Jinx’s cheek, “you’ll always be my little troublemaker. The one who keeps me on my toes.”
Jinx's gaze softened, but she still crossed her arms tighter, looking down at her feet. The faintest hint of insecurity flickered in her eyes, but it quickly vanished as she looked back up at Y/N.
“I don’t want them to take you away from me,” Jinx murmured, her voice smaller now, as if admitting something too fragile to say aloud.
Y/N’s heart melted at the vulnerability in her tone. She leaned down even further, resting her forehead against Jinx’s, her hands cupping the younger woman’s face. “You’ll never lose me, Jinx. Ever,” she said softly, her words a promise. “I’m not going anywhere, okay? You’re stuck with me. Whether you like it or not.”
For a brief moment, Jinx seemed unsure, her gaze darting away as if she couldn’t quite believe it. But then she nodded, a tiny, satisfied smirk tugging at the corners of her lips. “Alright,” she said, the confidence returning to her voice. “But if they try again... I’m scaring them all off, and you can’t stop me.”
Y/N’s laughter bubbled up again, and she wrapped her arms around Jinx in a quick, tender hug. “Deal,” she said, her voice light and teasing. “But you know, you don’t have to protect me from the kids. They’re just trying to learn from me.”
Jinx rolled her eyes, but her grin returned, as wild and carefree as ever. “I know, I know. But I don’t trust anyone near you,” she replied, her tone still playful.
Y/N kissed the top of Jinx’s head affectionately, pulling away with a wide grin. “And that’s exactly why I love you, you little mischief-maker.”
Jinx’s eyes sparkled with something that could only be described as pride, and her grin widened. The earlier jealousy had been replaced with a renewed sense of certainty. She was the one Y/N was always going to be there for, and that knowledge settled deep in her chest.
“Yeah, yeah,” Jinx said with a teasing roll of her eyes. “Just don’t forget it.”
Y/N chuckled again, her heart swelling with affection for the young woman standing beside her. She had no idea what Zaun would throw at them next, but with Jinx at her side, she knew they could handle whatever came their way.
Side by side, the two of them stood in the fading light, ready to face whatever chaos the streets of Zaun had in store for them.

"Desperate Times Call For Desperate Teamates"
"We need to do something," Seungkwan declared dramatically, sliding down the practice room wall. "I can't feel my legs, and I swear I saw Dino's soul leave his body during that last drill."
The maknae in question was indeed face-down on the floor, only managing a weak thumbs up to confirm his continued existence.
"He's gotten worse," Jeonghan observed from his position on the bench, watching their leader through the glass as Seungcheol reviewed practice footage. Again. "Yesterday, I caught him making a spreadsheet comparing different practice intensities. He color-coded it."
"That's... normal?" Vernon tried optimistically.
"At 3 AM, Vernonie. 3 AM."
A collective groan echoed through the room.
"Did you know," Mingyu started, still catching his breath, "he named his new hockey stick? I heard him calling it 'Dedication' while cleaning it."
"Better than last week's 'Discipline'," Wonwoo muttered, not looking up from his phone where he was apparently documenting their captain's concerning behaviors.
Jun raised his hand like a student in class. "Question: is it normal that he's memorizing the ice rink's maintenance schedule? He knows when they resurface the ice better than the zamboni driver."
"The driver's married, by the way," DK added helpfully. "Even the penalty box has more romance than our captain."
Hoshi suddenly sat up straight, eyes wide with his trademark tiger enthusiasm. "THAT'S IT!"
"Indoor voice, please," Woozi grumbled, rubbing his temples. "Some of us are still recovering from this morning's 'voluntary' extra practice."
"No, no, listen!" Hoshi was now pacing, his energy seemingly restored. "What does our Coups-hyung need?"
"A life?" Minghao suggested.
"Sleep?" from Joshua.
"Therapy?" Wonwoo pushed up his glasses.
"A GIRLFRIEND!" Hoshi announced triumphantly.
The practice room fell silent. Twelve pairs of eyes shifted to look at their captain through the glass, who was now rewinding the same play for what must have been the twentieth time.
"That..." Jeonghan started slowly, a mischievous smile spreading across his face, "might be the first useful thing you've said all year, Hoshi-yah."
"Hey!"
"No, no, he's onto something," Joshua leaned forward, already pulling out his phone. "Remember when Seungcheol-hyung had that crush on the girl from the coffee shop last year?"
"Oh yeah," Dino suddenly revived from his floor position. "He actually left practice on time for like two weeks."
"Until he scared her away by talking about hockey stats," Seungkwan reminded them.
"That's why," Jeonghan stood up, commanding attention like the second eldest should, "we need a plan. A mission."
"A mission impossible," Vernon quipped.
"Exactly!" Jeonghan pointed at him. "We need to get our captain a girlfriend before he turns this team into an Olympic training camp."
Woozi raised an eyebrow. "And how exactly do you propose we do that?"
"Simple," Jeonghan's smile grew wider, more dangerous. "We form committees."
"Oh no," Joshua muttered, knowing that look.
"Oh YES," Seungkwan perked up, loving that look.
And thus, Operation "Mission Impossible: Get Seungcheol a Girlfriend Because We're Afraid He's Gonna Be More Strict With Practice Like Let Him Get a Life Pls Pls Pls" was born.
"We need a shorter name," Wonwoo noted, already typing it in his phone.
"M.I.G.S.A.G.B.W.A.H.G.B.M.S.W.P.L.H.G.A.L.P.P.P?" Vernon tried.
"Perfect," Jeonghan clapped his hands. "Now, for the committees. Hoshi, you're in charge of daily tiger horoscope readings-"
"That's not a thing," Woozi interjected.
"It is now. Joshua, you're documenting everything. Mingyu and Minghao, you're on style watch - make sure he doesn't wear hockey jerseys on dates."
"Bold of you to assume he owns other clothes," Mingyu muttered.
"Seungkwan, you're our drama department-"
"I was born ready!"
"Wonwoo, you're researching dating apps. Vernon and Jun, you're our social media experts. Dino... just try to survive practice for now."
"What about me?" DK raised his hand.
"You and Woozi are our emergency extraction team. If any date goes wrong, you pull him out with a fake emergency."
"Can the emergency be my dying leg muscles?" Dino asked from the floor.
"Speaking of," Jun suddenly pointed at the glass. "Incoming!"
They scattered like startled cats just as Seungcheol opened the door, looking suspiciously at his suddenly innocent-looking teammates.
"Break's over. Let's run that play again."
The collective internal screaming was audible.
"We start tonight," Jeonghan whispered as they lined up. "For our legs."
"For our legs," twelve voices whispered back.
-
6:00 PM - Team Lounge Preparation
"Places everyone!" Jeonghan's voice commanded through the earpieces he'd borrowed (stolen) from the broadcasting team. "Hoshi, status on the PowerPoint?"
"Forty-seven slides of pure tiger-themed conviction!"
"It was supposed to be five slides," Woozi muttered, sitting at the piano he'd somehow smuggled in. "Also, why am I composing 'The Ballad of Single Seungcheol' again?"
"Emotional impact," Seungkwan explained, practicing his dramatic slides across the floor. "We need background music for my monologue about dying alone."
"No one's dying alone," Joshua sighed, reviewing his crisis management notebook:
- Plan A: Direct confrontation
- Plan B: Emotional manipulation
- Plan C: Vernon's interpretive dance
- Plan Z: Release the embarrassing photos
Meanwhile, Mingyu and Minghao were strategically placing furniture.
"The chair needs to be exactly 45 degrees under the spotlight," Minghao insisted.
"We don't have a spotlight," Mingyu pointed out.
"VERNON!"
"On it!" Vernon appeared with a desk lamp and determination.
At the same time - Y/N's Clinic Break Room
"You need to date," Krissa, Y/N's coworker, declared while stealing her lunch. "When was the last time you went out?"
"I go out!" Y/N protested, thinking about her weekly grocery runs.
"The old lady with the hip replacement asking you to dinner with her grandson doesn't count."
"Mrs. Kim is sweet..."
"She's also convinced her grandson is the next president. He collects rubber ducks, Y/N. Rubber. Ducks."
6:30 PM - The Ambush Begins
Seungcheol was having a good day. He'd organized new training menus (color-coded by intensity), named his newest hockey stick ("Perseverance"), and only spent three hours analyzing game footage.
The first sign something was wrong: the lounge lights were off.
The second sign: Mingyu trying (failing) to hide his 6'2" frame behind a plant.
"What-"
"HYUNG!" Seungkwan's voice echoed dramatically. "Do you know what day it is?"
"...Thursday?"
"IT'S YOUR INTERVENTION!"
The lights flashed on. Seungcheol found himself surrounded by his teammates, each wearing matching black hoodies with "Code Red: The Captain NEEDS a GIRLFRIEND" printed in glittering letters.
"Are those... rhinestones?"
"Focus!" Jeonghan stepped forward. "Seungcheol-ah, we need to talk about your relationship with hockey."
"My perfectly normal-"
"YOU TRIED TO INSTALL AN ICE RINK IN YOUR APARTMENT!" DK interrupted.
"It was a small one-"
"Exhibit A!" Hoshi clicked to his first slide, featuring a pie chart of Seungcheol's daily activities:
- 60% Hockey
- 30% Thinking about hockey
- 9% Basic human needs
- 1% Everything else
"That's... not accurate?"
"Exhibit B!" Another slide: a photo series titled 'The Evolution of Our Captain's Dating Life' showing:
- 2019: Attempted to explain offside rules on first date
- 2020: Brought hockey stick to coffee shop
- 2021: Asked team manager for practice schedules during blind date
- 2022: "Is being married to hockey valid?"
Meanwhile - Y/N's Evening Commute
"Just download the app," Krissa had insisted, practically forcing Y/N's thumb onto the install button. "Trust the algorithm!"
Now, squished between a businessman and a grandmother on the subway, Y/N found herself mindlessly scrolling through profiles.
Too posed. Too filtered. Too... is that guy posing with a fish?
Then she saw it.
'Cheol, 26'
The first photo was clearly candid - a genuine smile, caught mid-laugh. Someone had badly edited out what looked like hockey gear in the background, leaving obvious white spaces.
The second photo: attempting to look serious but his eyes gave away suppressed laughter. More suspicious white spaces around him.
The third: clearly taken without his knowledge, feeding a stray cat.
Bio: "Just a guy who likes ice sports and dad jokes. My friends made me download this. They're currently holding my training menus hostage. Send help."
Y/N found herself smiling. There was something refreshingly honest about him.
Back at the Ambush...
"And THAT'S why penguins mate for life!" Hoshi concluded slide thirty-seven.
"What do penguins have to do with-" Seungcheol started.
"EVERYTHING!" Seungkwan was now lying dramatically across the floor. "Even flightless birds find love, hyung!"
"Woozi-hyung, music!" DK cued.
The opening notes of 'The Ballad of Single Seungcheol' filled the room, accompanied by Vernon's unexpected contemporary dance.
"When did he learn-" Seungcheol tried again.
"STOP DEFLECTING!" Jeonghan commanded. "Mingyu, the phone!"
"For our legs!" Mingyu declared, executing a perfect phone-grabbing maneuver.
"YAH!"
"Jun, Minghao, initiate synchronized intervention dance!"
"We have a dance?!" Minghao looked panicked.
"Improvise!"
- After 15 minutes of improvised dance, they managed to make Seungcheol agree in making a dating app profile: "Bio first," Wonwoo adjusted his glasses, phone in hand. "Interests?"
"Hockey!" Seungcheol offered from his chair, where he was being guarded by Mingyu and Jun.
"NO!" Eleven voices shouted.
"Put 'enjoys sports'," Joshua suggested diplomatically.
"And dad jokes," Jeonghan added. "He needs to warn them early."
"What about: 'Looking for someone to share ice cream with'?" Vernon suggested.
"That's... actually cute?" Woozi sounded surprised.
"Add 'good with kids'!" Hoshi insisted.
"I've never-"
"YOU LITERALLY TUCK US IN AFTER PRACTICE!" Seungkwan interrupted.
Photo Selection Committee:
"No hockey photos," Mingyu declared, scrolling through Seungcheol's gallery.
"That's 98% of my photos-"
"We know," Minghao sighed. "That's the problem."
"Oh! This one!" Dino pointed. "From team dinner!"
"Too many hockey players in frame," Joshua vetoed.
"We could edit them out?" Jun suggested.
"NO-" Seungcheol started.
"Wonwoo, your Photoshop skills!" Jeonghan commanded.
"On it."
"Is that... why is there a white blob where Mingyu was standing?"
"Artistic choice," Wonwoo muttered, concentrated.
Meanwhile - Y/N's Apartment
"You're overthinking," Krissa's voice came through the phone as Y/N stared at Cheol's profile.
"His friends clearly made this profile-"
"That's cute! It means he's not a player."
"But what if-"
"Y/N, I swear, if you don't swipe right-"
"His smile seems genuine..."
"SWIPE. RIGHT. NOW."
Back at the Ambush:
"And done!" Wonwoo announced. "Profile complete."
Seungcheol looked horrified at the final result:
Photos:
Team dinner (now with mysterious white blobs)
Feeding cat (only half-edited hockey stick visible)
Candid laugh (suspiciously cropped)
Bio: "Just a guy who enjoys sports, dad jokes, and ice cream. Good with kids (and teammates). My friends made me download this. They're currently holding my training menus hostage. Send help."
"It's... honest?" Joshua offered.
"Too honest," Seungcheol groaned.
"Now we wait-" Jeonghan started.
ping
Thirteen heads snapped toward the phone.
"Is that..." Dino peered closer.
"A MATCH!" Seungkwan actually collapsed.
"Someone check if he's breathing," Woozi muttered.
Y/N's profile lit up the screen.
Seungcheol felt his ears turn red as he read:
"Physical therapist who loves dogs, rainy days, and helping people recover. Looking for something genuine. Probably swiping through this while drinking coffee."
Her smile was warm, natural. No filters, no posed shots. Just... real.
"She's perfect!" Hoshi declared. "The stars-"
"If you say the stars align one more time-" Woozi threatened.
"But they do!"
"Quick, say something!" Mingyu urged.
"I can do this myself-"
"The last time you messaged someone, you sent hockey statistics," Jun reminded him.
"One time!"
"Three times," Joshua corrected, consulting his notes. "Four if we count the referee explanation."
Seungcheol looked at Y/N's profile again. Something about her eyes seemed kind, understanding. Before his teammates could interfere, he typed:
"Since you're a physical therapist, any advice for teammates who dramatically fall during interventions?"
Across Seoul, Y/N was curled up on her couch when the message came through. She laughed out loud, typing back:
"Depends. Was it a planned fall or genuine distress? In my professional opinion, dramatic interventions require proper falling technique."
In the team lounge:
"She has humor!" Seungkwan had revived just to faint again.
"And medical knowledge for your old joints!" Dino dodged another flying pillow.
"Mission status?" Jeonghan asked formally.
"Phase one..." Joshua consulted his notebook, "surprisingly successful?"
"Now what?" Vernon asked.
"Now," Jeonghan smiled mysteriously, "we begin Phase Two: Operation First Date."
"We have a Phase Two?" Woozi looked concerned.
"We have phases up to Z," Joshua showed his notebook.
"God help us all," Seungcheol muttered, but he was smiling at his phone.
Little did Y/N know that her simple right swipe had initiated not just a potential romance, but had inadvertently involved her in the chaos of thirteen hockey players' most ambitious mission yet.
And somewhere in the lounge, Hoshi was already preparing his "Why Tigers Make Great Wedding Mascots" presentation.
-
“How To Text While Twelve People Read Over Your Shoulder"
Team Lounge - 10 Minutes Post-Match
"Don't just stare at her message," Mingyu urged, practically draped over Seungcheol's shoulder.
"I'm thinking-"
"That's your problem!" Seungkwan had recovered enough to offer wisdom. "Less thinking, more heart!"
Seungcheol typed: "My teammate's falls are an art form. Years of practice-"
"NO SPORTS REFERENCES!" Twelve voices yelled.
Delete, delete, delete.
"Just be yourself," Joshua advised.
"But not too much yourself," Jeonghan added.
"What does that even mean?" Seungcheol groaned.
Meanwhile - Y/N's Apartment
"He's taking a while to respond," Y/N muttered, watching the typing bubble appear and disappear.
"Maybe he's nervous?" Krissa suggested through the phone.
"Or composing poetry," Y/N joked.
"Or being attacked by friends," Krissa laughed.
If only she knew.
Back at the Lounge:
"Okay, how about..." Seungcheol tried again.
"You have to match her energy!" Hoshi was now doing his tiger-energy dance.
"Stop pressuring him," Wonwoo adjusted his glasses. "Statistically, overthinking first messages leads to-"
"No statistics!" Jun covered his ears.
Finally, Seungcheol managed to type:
"Would you believe me if I said one teammate has a dedicated falling technique for every emotional situation? We're currently at 'betrayed by captain who won't date' level dramatics."
Send.
"OH MY GOD HE SENT IT-" Seungkwan started hyperventilating.
"Quick, everyone act natural!" DK suggested, immediately striking the most unnatural pose possible.
Y/N's response came quickly:
"😂 As a professional, I'd love to analyze these techniques. For medical purposes, of course. Does he take appointments?"
The lounge erupted:
"She's funny!" from Vernon.
"She used an emoji!" Dino noted.
"Medical purposes," Woozi smirked.
"RESPOND FASTER!" Mingyu shook Seungcheol.
Meanwhile, in another corner, Operation Phase Two was already underway:
"Gather round," Jeonghan whispered to his secret subcommittee. "We need to prepare for every possible first date scenario."
Joshua pulled out a new notebook labeled "First Date Contingency Plans A-Z":
Plan A: Coffee Shop
- Pros: Casual, easy escape
- Cons: Might talk about hockey
- Solution: Remove all sports channels from café TVs
Plan B: Dog Café
- Pros: Cute animals, natural conversation
- Cons: Seungcheol might be allergic
- Note: Test for allergies immediately
Plan C: Restaurant
- Pros: Traditional, romantic
- Cons: Too much pressure
- Solution: Have team occupy all surrounding tables
"Should we include Plan T for Tiger Zoo?" Hoshi asked hopefully.
"No."
Back to the main conversation:
Seungcheol: "He's currently booked solid with interventions, but I hear he's willing to demonstrate for medical professionals 😊"
Y/N: "How generous! Though I should warn you, my professional opinion might include prescribing more social interactions for certain hockey-focused captains 😉"
The lounge went silent.
"Did she just..." Vernon started.
"She figured out..." Mingyu gasped.
"A WOMAN OF INTELLIGENCE!" Seungkwan declared.
Seungcheol felt his ears redden but found himself smiling as he typed:
"Caught me. Though in my defense, my team's intervention included a PowerPoint about why penguins finding love means I should too."
Y/N's Apartment:
She was grinning at her phone, ignoring Krissa's demands for updates. There was something endearing about this clearly hockey-obsessed captain and his concerned teammates.
Y/N: "Penguins are quite romantic. Though I hope your team knows humans have slightly different courtship rituals. Slightly."
Team Lounge:
"Is this... flirting?" Dino whispered in awe.
"Taking notes," Joshua muttered, scribbling furiously.
"We should give them space," Woozi suggested sensibly.
Nobody moved.
"I meant that as a command," Woozi glared.
Still nobody moved.
Seungcheol, somehow managing to type despite twelve people breathing down his neck:
"Would you be interested in discussing these human courtship rituals over coffee? I promise no PowerPoints. Can't guarantee no dramatic teammates though."
The lounge held its breath.
Y/N: "I'd like that! Fair warning though - I might assess your teammate's falling technique from afar. Professional curiosity 😊"
"SHE SAID YES!"
Chaos erupted:
- Seungkwan fainted (again)
- Hoshi began his victory tiger dance
- Vernon started his congratulatory rap
- Woozi contemplated early retirement
- Jeonghan's eyes gleamed with Phase Two possibilities
"Operation First Date begins now," Joshua announced formally.
"Can I just plan my own date?" Seungcheol tried.
The look of pity he received from twelve pairs of eyes was answer enough.
- "Operation First Date (Or Twelve Ways to Overcomplicate Coffee)"
The Pre-Date Strategy Meeting - 3 Days Before
"ATTENTION!" Jeonghan stood at a whiteboard, pointer in hand. The team lounge had been transformed into a tactical command center, complete with:
- Floor plans of every coffee shop in a 5-mile radius
- Weather forecasts for the next week
- A mysterious PowerPoint titled "Tiger Luck in Romance"
- Seungkwan's "Emergency Scenarios" binder
- Joshua's "Date Exit Strategies A-Z"
Seungcheol sat in the corner, wondering where it all went wrong.
"First," Jeonghan began, "location analysis."
Wonwoo stepped forward, pushing up his glasses:
"I've compiled data on 47 potential coffee shops based on:
- Ambient lighting
- Background music volume
- Table spacing for optimal conversation
- Distance from hockey-related establishments
- Escape route availability"
"It's just coffee," Seungcheol muttered.
"JUST COFFEE?!" Seungkwan clutched his chest. "This is your FUTURE!"
"Moving on," Jeonghan continued. "Mingyu, wardrobe report."
Mingyu unveiled a clothing rack that definitely wasn't in the lounge this morning.
"I've prepared three categories:
1. 'Casual but Make It Romantic'
2. 'Yes I'm a Hockey Captain but I Read Books Too'
3. 'Trust Me I Have Other Hobbies'"
"Are those my clothes?" Seungcheol squinted.
"No, these are better," Minghao replied, sorting through fabrics. "Your clothes all say 'I sleep in hockey gear.'"
Meanwhile - Y/N's Preparation
"Just wear something comfortable," Krissa suggested, watching Y/N tear through her closet.
"But what kind of comfortable? Coffee comfortable? First date comfortable? Meeting-a-hockey-captain comfortable?"
"Is that last one a category?"
"I'm making it one!"
Back at Strategy HQ:
"Conversation topics!" Joshua read from his notebook.
DK raised his hand. "What about-"
"No hockey," everyone chorused.
"But-"
"NO. HOCKEY."
Hoshi bounced up. "The stars say-"
"No horoscopes," Woozi interrupted.
"But the tigers-"
"Especially no tiger horoscopes."
Vernon, surprisingly practical: "Why don't you just... talk normally?"
The room fell silent. Everyone looked at Vernon like he'd suggested playing hockey blindfolded.
"Talk... normally?" Jeonghan tested the words.
"Like... without a script?" Jun looked concerned.
"Absolutely not," Seungkwan declared. "We need contingency plans!"
The Emergency Scenarios Binder appeared:
- Scenario 1: Awkward Silence
Solution: Pre-planted conversation cards under sugar packets
- Scenario 2: Hockey Mention
Solution: DK's emergency dance distraction
- Scenario 3: Rain
Solution: Strategic umbrella placement by Jun
- Scenario 4: She Recognizes Surveillance Team
Solution: Mingyu's "We're Filming a Documentary" cover story
"Surveillance team?!" Seungcheol stood up.
"Sit down," Jeonghan commanded. "We're not done with the scenarios."
"There's more?!"
"There's always more," Joshua said ominously, flipping to his notebook's section labeled 'Crisis Management'.
Dino raised his hand. "What about our positions?"
"Ah yes," Jeonghan pulled down a blueprint. "Operation Coffee Shop Placement":
- Wonwoo & Mingyu: Window seats, pretending to study
- Joshua & Jeonghan: Counter, monitoring drink orders
- Seungkwan & Vernon: Outside café, "casual" pedestrians
- Jun & Minghao: Corner table, fake art students
- Hoshi: Emergency tiger energy provider
- Woozi: Getaway driver
- DK & Dino: Backup dancers if needed
"Getaway driver?!" Seungcheol looked alarmed.
"You never know," Woozi shrugged.
"And I'll be monitoring everyone's positions through these," Hoshi proudly held up twelve earpieces.
"Absolutely not," Seungcheol stood again.
"You're right," Jeonghan nodded. "We need color-coded earpieces."
The Day Before - Final Preparations:
Text from Y/N: "Looking forward to tomorrow! Any preference for which café?"
The team lounge exploded into action:
- Wonwoo consulting his café spreadsheets
- Mingyu checking lighting angles
- Joshua reviewing escape routes
- Seungkwan practicing his "casual pedestrian" walk
- Hoshi doing good luck tiger dances
Seungcheol, somehow maintaining sanity: "How about Stone Street Café at 2?"
"THAT WASN'T ON THE APPROVED LIST!" Seungkwan screeched.
"Perfect timing and place!" Y/N replied.
"She's perfect," Hoshi whispered. "The tigers were right."
"The tigers weren't-" Woozi started, then gave up.
"Tomorrow then," Jeonghan announced dramatically, "Operation First Date begins."
"Can't wait! 😊" Y/N texted, blissfully unaware of the twelve-man tactical team she'd inadvertently invited to coffee.
- "Operation First Date (Or How Twelve Hockey Players Became Drama Addicts)"
D-Day: Stone Street Café
1:30 PM - Initial Positions
"Everyone remember their roles?" Jeonghan whispered into the earpiece.
"We could just... not do this," Woozi suggested from the getaway car.
"COMMITMENT!" Seungkwan adjusted his "casual pedestrian" beret.
1:45 PM - Target Sighting
"Eagle has landed," Vernon reported, watching Seungcheol approach. "He's... wait."
"Report!" Jeonghan demanded.
"He looks... good?"
Everyone peered through various windows and hiding spots. Their captain had somehow:
- Styled his hair naturally
- Worn the outfit they approved
- Arrived early
- Wasn't carrying any hockey equipment
"Did we enter an alternate universe?" Minghao whispered.
1:55 PM - Second Target
"Y/N approaching from the east," Mingyu reported from his "study" table. "She's..."
"She's?" Eleven voices asked.
"Wow."
Y/N walked up to the café, a simple sundress and genuine smile making their captain visibly malfunction.
"Oh no, he's frozen," Jun panicked.
"Deploy emergency-" Seungkwan started.
But then...
2:00 PM - The Shift
Seungcheol smiled - not his camera smile, not his captain smile, but something softer. He opened the door for her, and...
"Did you see that?" Joshua whispered.
"The way they both laughed at the same time?" Jeonghan was already invested.
"Shhh!" Dino hushed. "We can't hear!"
Inside the café:
"I honestly wasn't sure if you'd come alone," Y/N grinned, settling into her seat.
"What makes you think I did?" Seungcheol raised an eyebrow.
Y/N casually glanced around, spotting:
- Two very tall men aggressively pretending to study
- A pair of "art students" who hadn't touched their sketchbooks
- A beret-wearing individual walking past the window for the fifth time
"Just a hunch," she smiled.
In various hiding spots:
"She knows!" Vernon whispered.
"But she's not running," Wonwoo observed.
"Guys," Mingyu suddenly said, "look."
They watched as Seungcheol and Y/N fell into easy conversation. No emergency cards needed. No tiger horoscopes required. Just... natural.
2:30 PM - The Evolution
"Should we deploy conversation starter #7?" Seungkwan asked.
"Wait..." Jeonghan held up his hand, watching.
Inside:
"So," Y/N leaned forward, "tell me about hockey."
Twelve hearts stopped.
But instead of launching into statistics, Seungcheol said, "Only if you tell me about what made you choose physical therapy."
She lit up, and suddenly they were sharing stories, laughing, completely lost in their own world.
The Surveillance Team:
"Are we... watching a drama?" DK whispered.
"Quick, someone film this!" Hoshi was emotional.
"Already on it," Joshua had his phone out.
3:00 PM - The Realization
One by one, the earpieces went silent. The elaborate plans forgotten. Twelve hockey players found themselves completely invested in watching their captain just... be happy.
"They're perfect together," Seungkwan sniffled.
"The way she makes him laugh..." Dino observed.
"The way he actually listens..." Mingyu added.
"No one mention hockey once..." Woozi noted, now inside with popcorn(?).
4:00 PM - Mission Evolution
As Seungcheol and Y/N prepared to leave, plans for a second date already made, the team had completely abandoned their positions in favor of:
- Seungkwan and DK writing a musical about them
- Hoshi planning their wedding
- Joshua documenting everything for future generations
- Jeonghan already plotting "Operation Second Date"
- Mingyu and Vernon designing couple merchandise
- Minghao and Jun choreographing a congratulatory dance
- Wonwoo calculating their compatibility (98.7%)
- Dino learning wedding songs
- Woozi pretending he wasn't composing a love song
Outside the Café:
"Your friends are really invested," Y/N commented, watching various heads duck behind plants.
"I'm sorry about them," Seungcheol rubbed his neck.
"Don't be. It's sweet. Though..." she grinned, "they might want to work on their stealth skills. I don't think art students usually cry over other people's coffee dates."
They both looked at Seungkwan, who was openly weeping into his beret.
"Second date?" Seungcheol asked hopefully.
"Definitely. Maybe somewhere with less... audience?"
"IMPOSSIBLE!" came a chorus of whispers from various plants.
Later - Team Lounge:
"Mission status?" Jeonghan asked formally.
"Complete success," Joshua reported, still emotional.
"Better than success," Seungkwan declared. "It's true love!"
"It's one date," Woozi reminded them.
"But did you see how they LOOKED at each other?!" Hoshi was already preparing his "Why Tigers Make Perfect Ring Bearers" presentation.
"So..." Vernon asked what everyone was thinking, "Operation Second Date?"
Seungcheol, walking in: "No."
"But-"
"Absolutely not."
"We'll be subtle!" Mingyu promised.
"You cried into a textbook."
"Those were subtle tears!"
Y/N's Apartment:
"How was it?" Krissa demanded.
Y/N smiled, thinking of gentle eyes and genuine laughs, of twelve not-so-hidden supporters and one perfect afternoon.
"It was... unexpected. In the best way."
Her phone buzzed:
Seungcheol: "I apologize for my team. They're... enthusiastic."
Y/N: "They care about you. It's cute. Though I did wonder why one kept making tiger poses."
Seungcheol: "That's just Hoshi. Wait until you meet him properly."
Y/N: "Looking forward to it 😊"
Team Lounge:
"She said she's looking forward to meeting us!" Seungkwan announced to the group chat.
"FAMILY DINNER!" twelve voices decided.
"No," Seungcheol texted back.
"Too late," Jeonghan was already planning.
"Operation Family Dinner begins now!" Joshua declared.
"We're not calling it-" Woozi started.
"OPERATION FAMILY DINNER!" everyone chorused.
Seungcheol sighed, but he was smiling. Maybe their chaos had led to something perfect after all.
-
"The One Where Someone Actually Likes Hockey (And Him)"
Operation Family Dinner Prep - Team Lounge
"Ground rules," Jeonghan addressed the team. "No embarrassing stories-"
"There goes my PowerPoint," Seungkwan sighed.
"No tiger facts-"
"But-" Hoshi started.
"NO tiger facts, and absolutely no-"
"MISSION ACCOMPLISHED BANNER!" Mingyu and Vernon burst in, proudly displaying a giant banner reading "THANK YOU FOR LIKING OUR CAPTAIN"
"Take it down," Seungcheol groaned.
"But we used glitter!" Vernon protested.
Meanwhile - Y/N's Apartment
"Twelve hockey players," Krissa repeated. "You're having dinner with twelve hockey players."
"Plus Seungcheol," Y/N added, trying on her fifth outfit.
"The same twelve who stalked your coffee date?"
"They weren't stalking! They were... enthusiastically supporting."
The Dinner - 7 PM
Y/N arrived at the team's favorite restaurant to find:
- The banner (they didn't take it down)
- Seungkwan practicing his welcome speech
- Hoshi's "subtle" tiger decorations
- Twelve very excited hockey players
- One very apologetic Seungcheol
"I'm so sorry," he whispered. "We can leave-"
"Are you kidding? This is adorable!"
The team collectively melted.
Dinner was in full swing when Seungcheol started explaining a particularly complex play. The twelve teammates watched in fascination, each processing this unprecedented scene differently:
Jeonghan's Corner: "I've seen him scare away five dates with hockey talk," he whispered to Joshua. "Six," Joshua corrected, still filming. "Remember the coffee shop girl who ran away during his penalty explanation?" "But look at Y/N..." They watched as she drew actual play diagrams on napkins. "Are we sure she's real?"
Hoshi & DK's Observation: "The way she gets excited when he gets excited," DK clutched his chest. "It's like watching a drama!" Hoshi wiped a tear. "Better than your tiger documentaries?" "Nothing's better than- OH MY GOD SHE JUST ASKED ABOUT GAME STRATEGIES!"
Mingyu to Wonwoo: "Remember when he tried explaining hockey to my sister?" "She blocked his number," Wonwoo nodded. "But Y/N just asked him to explain MORE." "Statistically impossible but... happening right in front of us."
Minghao noticed something: "Look at his hands," he whispered to Jun. "What about them?" "They're not doing the nervous thing. He's just... comfortable." Jun sniffled: "Our captain's growing up!"
Woozi's Mental Notes:
First date to survive hockey talk ✓
Actually understands offside rules ✓
Makes Seungcheol laugh naturally ✓
Might need to compose a love song after all
Seungkwan's Live Commentary to Vernon: "Did you see that? She just made a hockey joke!" "And he actually laughed-" "NOT THE POLITE LAUGH, VERNON. THE REAL ONE!" "Should you be taking notes this intensely?" "This is historical documentation!"
Dino, watching it all unfold: "Hyung looks... different." "Happy," everyone replied simultaneously.
The turning point came when Y/N casually mentioned:
"Oh, that reminds me of your game last month - the one where you adjusted the defensive formation mid-play? That was brilliant."
Seungcheol froze mid-explanation. "You... watched our old games?"
Y/N blushed slightly. "I might have done some research? I wanted to understand what you love about it. Plus," she grinned, "watching you lead your team is pretty attractive."
Several things happened at once:
Seungkwan choked on air
Jeonghan dropped his phone
Joshua caught it without looking (still filming)
Hoshi started doing tiny victory tiger paws
Mingyu and Minghao high-fived
Wonwoo's glasses fogged up
DK clutched Jun in emotional support
Vernon patted a crying Seungkwan
Woozi pretended he wasn't writing lyrics
Dino watched his hyungs lose their collective minds
But most importantly: Seungcheol looked at Y/N like she had just scored the winning goal in the championship game.
Later, during dessert:
"I have a confession," Y/N admitted to the table. "I might have noticed you all at the coffee shop."
"We were subtle!" Seungkwan protested.
"You cried into a plant."
"Those were subtle tears!"
"And the one doing tiger poses by the window..."
"That was for good luck!" Hoshi defended.
"And the two tall ones pretending to study..."
Mingyu and Wonwoo suddenly found the ceiling fascinating.
"...was actually really sweet. He's lucky to have people who care so much."
The team melted all over again.
"She understands us too," Jeonghan whispered reverently.
"ONE OF US!" Seungkwan declared.
"We're keeping her," Hoshi announced.
"That's not how it works-" Woozi started.
"Too late! Already adopted!" DK confirmed.
Y/N laughed, fitting perfectly into their chaos while her hand found Seungcheol's under the table.
Later that night, Team Group Chat (Minus Seungcheol):
Seungkwan: EMERGENCY MEETING Joshua: It's midnight Seungkwan: LOVE DOESN'T SLEEP Jeonghan: Operation Wedding Planning begins Woozi: It's been ONE dinner Hoshi: BUT DID YOU SEE THEM?! Mingyu: They're perfect 🥺 Vernon: The way she understood hockey... DK: The way he smiled... Jun: The way they looked at each other... Minghao: The way they just fit... Dino: So... Operation Wedding Planning? Wonwoo: sends spreadsheet
Meanwhile, Seungcheol walking Y/N home:
"I'm sorry about them," he started.
"Don't be. They're wonderful. Chaotic, but wonderful."
"Like a hurricane of love," he laughed.
"With a tiger twist," she added.
He looked at her then, really looked at her, and thought maybe his team's crazy plans weren't so crazy after all.
- Something was definitely different about their captain. The first signs were subtle - arriving five minutes late to practice (unheard of), constant phone checking (suspicious), and most alarmingly, humming while setting up drills (miraculous). The team huddled at the corner of the rink, watching Seungcheol with a mixture of awe and disbelief as he smiled at his phone for the fifth time in ten minutes.
"I think we broke him," Seungkwan whispered, clutching Vernon's arm. "Our plan worked too well."
Two months into dating Y/N, and their strict, hockey-obsessed captain had transformed into someone who said things like "the ice understands love" with complete seriousness. The man who once made them repeat a play 47 times now ended practice early because "the lighting at the coffee shop is perfect at 4 PM."
The real shock came during their morning practice. Seungcheol, still typing on his phone with a soft smile, casually announced, "No Sunday practice this week." The rink fell silent. Twelve pairs of eyes stared at their captain as if he'd just declared he was quitting hockey to become a tiger trainer (much to Hoshi's disappointment, he wasn't).
"Why?" Jeonghan dared to ask, though they all knew the answer. Their captain's ears turned that telling shade of red as he mumbled something about Y/N planning something special.
"WHIPPED!" Seungkwan coughed not-so-subtly, earning a half-hearted glare from their leader. The fact that he didn't assign extra laps for the comment only proved the point.
Meanwhile, across town at the physical therapy clinic, Y/N was having a similar effect on her workplace. Her colleagues had grown used to her sudden laughs at hockey memes ("He explains the rules so passionately!"), her lunch breaks extending whenever a certain captain dropped by ("Just five more minutes, he's explaining a new play"), and the way she lit up every time her phone buzzed.
"You actually enjoy his hockey talks," Krissa observed with amazement during their break. "Like, genuinely enjoy them."
Y/N smiled, remembering how Seungcheol's eyes sparkled when she asked about his game strategies. "He's cute when he's excited about it. Besides," she added, checking her phone where Seungcheol had sent a detailed analysis of their morning practice, complete with heart emojis, "his passion is attractive."
Back at the rink, the team was experiencing the full effects of their captain's transformation. Team meetings that once ran for hours now ended with "Any questions? No? Great, I have a date." Their notorious extended cool-downs had shortened considerably because "Y/N found this great lunch spot."
"Remember when he made us sleep at the rink before big games?" Jun whispered to Minghao during water break, watching their captain practically skip while texting.
"Now he leaves early because 'Y/N might get cold waiting,'" Minghao mimicked, though his smile was fond.
The team often found themselves "accidentally" having lunch near Y/N's clinic, watching their captain transform from fierce hockey leader to soft boyfriend in seconds. He'd arrive with her favorite coffee and snacks, his whole demeanor changing at the sight of her smile.
"It's actually kind of beautiful," Seungkwan sniffled, watching through the café window as Seungcheol forgot about his beloved hockey for a full minute, just staring at Y/N like she hung the stars.
"Disgusting," Woozi corrected, but he was already composing what he'd never admit was a love song.
"Remember our mission?" Jeonghan mused, watching their captain laugh at something Y/N said. "Get Seungcheol a girlfriend because we're afraid he's gonna be more strict with practice?"
"Mission accomplished?" Joshua suggested, still filming everything for their future wedding video.
"Better than accomplished," Mingyu grinned, pointing at their captain who was now excitedly explaining a play with sugar packets while Y/N watched with genuine interest. "We got him a girlfriend who actually likes hockey."
"And him," Vernon added importantly.
"The tigers blessed us," Hoshi declared solemnly.
For once, no one argued with the tiger agenda. They were too busy watching their captain being happy, finally having found someone who loved both his passion and him, hockey statistics and all.
- It became their thing - late evening walks after his practice and her clinic hours, usually ending up at the quiet café near the rink. Tonight, Seungcheol watched as Y/N drew little stick figures on a napkin, seriously explaining how his last play could be modified. The café owner, used to their presence, had long stopped asking if they wanted refills, just quietly placing fresh cups of coffee at their table.
"See, if you shift this position slightly," Y/N pointed with her pen, completely focused, "it might give you better coverage on the left side." She looked up to find him staring at her with that soft expression he seemed to reserve just for these moments. "What?"
"Nothing," he smiled, reaching across to tuck a strand of hair behind her ear. "Just... do you know you scrunch your nose when you're really focused on explaining something?"
"Says the one who gets excited sparkles in his eyes when talking about new practice drills," she teased back, catching his hand and intertwining their fingers.
These quiet moments were theirs, away from twelve enthusiastic supporters (who they both knew were probably somewhere nearby, with Seungkwan likely crying into Joshua's shoulder about 'true love'). Here, they could just be Seungcheol and Y/N - not the hockey captain and the physical therapist, just two people who found each other through a chaotic intervention and some badly edited dating app photos.
"I never thanked them properly," Y/N mused, playing with his fingers.
"The team? Pretty sure they consider you letting Hoshi explain tiger love compatibility at dinner last week as thanks enough."
She laughed, remembering how seriously Hoshi had presented his PowerPoint while the others tried (failed) to stop him. "Not just for that. For caring about you enough to stage that whole intervention. For being so invested in your happiness that they turned into part-time spies."
"Terrible spies," Seungcheol corrected, thinking of Mingyu's failed attempts at stealth despite his height, and Seungkwan's dramatic crying behind plants. "But yeah, they're... special."
"Your family," she smiled softly.
"Our family now," he corrected, then blushed at his own boldness. "I mean, if you want- they've kind of already adopted you- but no pressure-"
She stopped his rambling with a gentle squeeze of his hand. "I'd love that. Though I should warn you, I might enable your hockey obsession more than they'd like."
"You mean you'll actually listen to my game analysis?"
"I already do that."
"And watch practice sometimes?"
"Already planning to."
"And not run away when I name my hockey sticks?"
"As long as you don't name them all after me," she teased.
His ears turned red. "About that..."
"Cheol! How many?"
"Just the new one! And maybe the backup one. And possibly the special game day one..."
Her laughter filled the café, and Seungcheol thought about how perfectly she fit into his life - into their lives. How she understood not just his passion for hockey, but also his need to take care of twelve chaotic teammates. How she'd become part of their family so naturally, like she was always meant to be there.
"Hey," he said softly, making her look up from where she was still drawing play diagrams. "I love you."
It wasn't the first time he'd said it, but it still made her heart skip just like it did that first time (when he blurted it out after she attended his game and actually understood why a particular play was brilliant).
"I love you too," she smiled, "hockey obsession and all."
"And the twelve-man emotional support team that comes with it?"
"Especially them. Though..." she glanced at the window where several suspicious plants seemed to have gathered, "they might need some work on their stealth skills."
Outside, they could faintly hear Seungkwan's emotional "They're so perfect!" followed by multiple shushes and what sounded like Woozi dragging him away.
Seungcheol just smiled, squeezing her hand. Let them watch. Let them see that sometimes the craziest plans work out perfectly. Let them witness that yes, someone could love both hockey and him, statistics and all.
And if their next date happened to be watching game footage while Y/N pointed out defensive patterns and Seungcheol fell more in love with every observation, well... that was just their kind of perfect.
[In the group chat later that night] Seungkwan: THEY'RE SO IN LOVE 😭 Jeonghan: Mission Accomplished ✓ Hoshi: The tigers blessed this union 🐯 Woozi: Stop watching them on dates Joshua: But the wedding video... DK: They're literally perfect??? Mingyu: Hyung named THREE sticks after her Vernon: Whipped culture Jun: Worth all the spy training Minghao: We did that Wonwoo: Statistically impossible but real Dino: So... Mission Possible: Wedding? All: MISSION POSSIBLE: WEDDING!

Dean Obeidallah at The Dean's Report:
On August 20, a little before dawn, 87 year-old Lidia Martinez was abruptly jarred awake by an unexpected knock on her door. The longtime activist who for over 35 years has worked to expand voter registration among seniors and veterans in south Texas, cautiously peered out the door. Standing on her doorstep were nine police officers dressed in tactical gear and carrying firearms. After showing her a search warrant, Martinez’s home was searched as she was forced to stand outside in her nightgown in her driveway in full view of her neighbors. Martinez was later questioned for three hours after which the police seized her phone, computer, personal calendar and more.
[...]
These bad faith searches orchestrated by Paxton were predicated on the claim that the people being investigated were registering non-citizens to vote—despite zero evidence presented of wrongdoing. Very alarmingly, if Donald Trump and House GOP have their way, these types of raids would be happening nationwide with federal law enforcement under a GOP President. That is why GOP House Speaker Johnson is now demanding the proposed SAVE Act be included in any deal to provide funding to keep the government open.
To be clear, federal and state law already makes it a crime for non-citizens to vote. But this new federal legislation would establish criminal penalties for registering an applicant to vote in a federal election who fails to present documentation proving U.S. citizenship. That means that what we are seeing in Texas is coming attractions of what the GOP wants to do nationally.
Keep in mind despite Texas AG Paxton’s two year investigation, no charges have been filed against any of the people whose homes were searched. Indeed, there may never be charges because even Paxton’s basis for the search is BS. In his press release announcing the investigation, the Texas AG presents no evidence of wrongdoing. Instead, Paxton makes baseless claims like these organizations have set up voter registration booths outside state agencies where people could register inside. Paxton’s press release literally includes this question with no answer: “Why would they need a second opportunity to register with a booth outside?” But nowhere in his press release does he even allege any criminal conduct—only questions.
And Paxton—a close ally of convicted felon Trump—showed his bad faith earlier in August on a radio show when he peddled lies about non-citizens voting. Paxton declared, “There’s a reason Joe Biden brought people here illegally. I’m convinced that that’s how they’re going to do it this time, they’re going to use the illegal vote. Why were they brought in, why did he bring in 14 million people?” adding, “He brought them here to vote.” That is nothing more than the type of BS you hear on Fox News. But now Paxton has weaponized government by targeting people registering those he believes will vote for Democrats. The backlash to Paxton’s actions have been swift. LULAC requested that the Department of Justice investigate Paxton's office for Voting Rights Act violations. LULAC CEO Juan Proaño and the group's national president, Roman Palomares, summed up well what is really going in their letter to the DOJ: "These actions echo a troubling history of voter suppression and intimidation that has long targeted both Black and Latino communities, particularly in states like Texas, where demographic changes have increasingly shifted the political landscape.”
The Texas GOPs voter intimidation tactics are based on the faux outrage campaign against noncitizen voting.

🔥Overwhelmed🔥

Corporate AU Wooyoung x (F)Reader
Summary: No one could stop swiper when his queen was overwhelmed.
Genre: Fluff
Word Count: 1.1 K
Est. Read Time: 5 min
Warnings: None
Rating: PG-13
Type: One-shot
Networks: @cromernet @k-labels @illusionnet
Banner: @cafekitsune
A/N: I'd like to thank @edenesth for this picture- and dedicate this to her - my corporate queen.
Overwhelmed
That was one way to describe how you were feeling right now, from the way your admin had dumped everything on your department to the way clients were ringing your phone like you owed them money- incorrect, you had nothing to do with anything that had happened. The missing records, unfilled forms, lack of digitisation of pre existing documents, somehow ended up being given to you- sure, you knew with great power came an even greater responsibility, but being team leader did not mean you were willing to become a punching bag of your superiors.
To top it all off during your break an idiotic colleague from the IT department had decided to come at you for something, yelling at you, ruining your gaming session- the 30-40 minutes of peace you'd have during work- and in the end it turned out to be not your desktop that had an issue, the virus was in the lady in the cubicle next to yours. During that drama, you had been reported and banned from the game for 24 hours. It was wonderful, it was just wonderful. What were you going to do on your drive back home now?
The worst thing of all was that you were unable to see the only person who'd make your day bearable, the only person who'd wake you up gently every morning, with a soft damp tissue gently pressing against your closed lids, then his warm lips against your own before he'd whisper sweetly in your ear, “Time to dominate the day, my queen.” The same person who'd have your breakfast waiting for you as soon as you'd rush out of the room all dressed, forcing you to sit down and eat with him, sometimes feeding you if you'd try to say you were in a rush. The only person who would spend the night with you, choosing your clothes, shoes and accessories, ensuring to match his tie and socks with your clothes, “Pink shirt huh…welp, pinks socks it is.”- yes, he had worn pink socks and a pink tie, which most men at work found funny, but most women at work found it adorable.
Hence, now, you were sitting in your cubicle, staring at the spreadsheet, wondering what you had done to deserve this. Maybe you were too nice? Maybe you wronged someone? Maybe you - the irritating ringing of your phone had you heave out a sigh and pick it up, letting out a tired, “Hello?”
“Excuse me, miss, this is the police. You're under arrest for being so damn hot that your boyfriend is willing to commit murder for you.”
A chuckle broke past your lips as you sighed, leaning against the seat and humming, “Ah…really? Well, Mr.Police, I'm a bit busy right now, so I'll have to get back to you soon.”
“Nonsense.”
You heard from the phone and from behind you, causing you to turn around, phone pressed between your ear and shoulder, facing the man holding his phone to his ear with one hand and in his other hand he held a white box.
Hanging up, he placed it on the desk before pushing your keyboard aside, causing you to gasp in disapproval, “Silence my queen.” He demanded before flipping open the box and showing you the sweet treat that you had been eying for a while. You'd glance at it everytime you'd buy your morning coffee, knowing very well it was the bakery's best selling treat, but you'd postpone it often, for various nonsense reasons, as Jung Wooyoung would claim.
“Woo…” you glanced up at him with a pout, “Work…I have work-”
“It's 6 p.m. No more work, only cake!” He declared dragging a stool next to your chair and handing you a spoon, “I was away for one meeting, and I came back to my queen in shambles? The nerve of people - just you wait, I'll punch San in the face for leaving you like this.”
“Woo…his wife was giving birth.” You shook your head in defeat and amusement, suddenly remembering another reason to your glum mood, you had missed your boss and his wife- your friend's birth of their first child.
“I know. Where'd you think I got the cake from.”
Your eyes widened at the statement before flickering to the cake, squinting at the small card that had, “Congratulations, it's a girl!” written on it.
“YOU STOLE HIS CAKE!?”
Your screech echoed in the empty office followed by his shameless cackle, and a “REVENGE SHOULD BE SWEET, MY QUEEN!”
“JUNG WOOYOUNG!?”
He rolled his eyes at your yelling and scooped up a good amount of cake and pressed it against your lips, “Say ahhh…I got coffee too.”
Taking in a deep breath you reminded yourself that the intention behind this was sweet, and that later, perhaps tomorrow you'd be apologising to the new parents with another cake and a gift for their new born baby. Parting your lips you let him feed you, closing your eyes in pure bliss, instantly forgetting about everyone and everything, wanting nothing more to smooch the man infront of you for blessing you with this wonderful, sweet, delicious treat.
The moment you opened your eyes, you realised that his lips were on yours, and you gently pushed him away, swallowing and mumbling, “Y-you idiot we’re at work.”
“Don't worry, ain't nobody here but us and this cake.”
You shook your head in amazement. This day had been shit, but at least you had your personal little clown, your companion, your lover, and your little thief swiping around and getting you treats. As the thoughts processed you had somehow started crying, tears rolling down your cheeks that you realised when you felt him wipe them with his thumb, giving you a small smile, “It's okay… its okay to feel overwhelmed, love…the world won't hate you if you take a little break.”
Nodding at his statement you let him pull you in a hug, your head resting against his shoulder as he gently stroked you back, mumbling, “Their daughter is beautiful…I'm glad she takes after the mom…imagine if her head was as big as his…pushing it out would've been hell.”
His smile widened at the sniffled laughter, hugging you closer as he eyed the cake that San’s wife had insisted he take back to you, knowing how you had to handle her husband’s load today and how the lack of a Jung in your life today may have overwhelmed you. She was right. Perhaps she was a good friend- welp. He was gonna swipe the cake anyway, Mrs.Choi only caught him and laughed it off.
“Woo…”
“Hmm?”
“Thank you…” you mumbled, moving back before you started eating again, taking a sip of your coffee, realising how hungry you were, how grateful you were, how loved you were. It really was a blessing to have someone like Jung Wooyoung in your life - no matter what kind of chaos he brought with him.
“Anything for you…my queen.” He whispered, watching you eat in peace, chin in palm as he admired you, taking in your tired posture and eyes, naturally you were tired and exhausted, drained and overwhelmed- no matter, he'd make sure to fix all that. It was his job to keep his queen, the love of his life, safe and happy.

January 23rd is National Handwriting Day! It’s observed every year on January 23rd in recognition of John Hancock’s birthday, the first man to sign the Declaration of Independence.
Prior to the invention of Johannes Gutenberg’s printing press in the 1450s, all documents, even books, were hand written. Printing allowed for the mass production of information. Printing presses were still rare, however. The first press in California arrived in 1835 but Augustín Zamorano was the only printer in California until 1846.
For today, Howard decided to take a different direction for National Handwriting Day. Howard typeset and letterpress printed “Why handwrite something when I can print it?” in 30 point Kaufmann Bold font. This font was selected because the type mimics cursive handwriting. The Kaufmann style of font is a brush script typeface designed in 1936 by Max R. Kaufmann for the American Type Founders. This was printed with black rubber base ink using our Washington hand press.

Over the Moon (Visual Novel)
Created by: Bibibbb99
Genre: Shonen ai
Over the Moon is a beautiful demo that honestly can be finished off as it's own short game. Despite the fact that we never see Galileo, the main lead, we do get to see the chemistry between the two boys as they have class and go to a festival together. The artwork is pretty and beautiful and I think it has good potential for a sequel or a more fully fleshed out game if needed. This game doesn't seem like it's available at the moment, so we'll keep this as a sort of documentation of what the game was.
The story starts out with Galileo in a dream, on the bottom of a spiraling staircase where he can either go up or down. Going up he sees a woman laughing and dancing with her lover, a star. As she dances with the star, you hear her confess her love. If Galileo goes down instead, he instead hears a resentful voice, crying out and wondering why they chose someone else but not them, confessing their love and begging to why they chose the star instead of them. Either way, Galileo is woken up by his roommate, Atlas, who has made the two tea. You can choose the type of tea, though there is a special interaction for choosing pepperment with too much sugar (which Atlas will say he will only make on special occasions since if he lives that way he might incur health problems) or if you choose black tea, which Atlas will be extremely happy since the two of them share the same taste in tea. Otherwise, Galileo will thank Atlas for making the two of them tea each morning, which will make Atlas happy and blush. Galileo starts talking to Atlas about a book he read, where Atlas talks about a romance between a wanderer and a librarian who must stay in her library, the school work the two have to do and how Atlas is pretty good at Potionology and finally gossip between other classmates, specifically two classmates named Theodore and Lucas. Although Atlas seems to disapprove of rumors, Galileo talks about how the two are planning to dance during a quiz to distract the professor, though Lucas ended up chickening out, with Atlas commenting that it's cowardly to betray your friend like that. Finally, Galileo talks about the dream he had, either of the girl dancing with the stars or the mournful voice, which will lead to Atlas talking about how similar the dream is with a story he's read.
The school bells ring for classes, and the two boys end up studying and going to class, leading to going into the library afterwards. Atlas compliments Galileo on his math scores and can either whine or playfully tease Atlas about it. Atlas seems to know that Galileo works hard on it despite beating Galileo in his scores. To this Galileo challenges Atlas to who can finish their maths first, with the winner being the glorious winner (as Galileo puts it). Atlas ends up winning before Galileo is halfway, so he declares Atlas the winner. Atlas asks Galileo to take off his blazer vest as there's a button that has been loose. Galileo can either refuse, take off the blazer or ask for Atlas's blazer to wear in return. If he does the latter, Atlas will blush and as Galileo continues his homework wearing Atlas's blazer and, Atlas will sew his blazer in return. After this, Atlas will talk to Galileo about a night market that's happening that a teacher mentioned during class. Atlas seems prepared for this venture and the two end up going to the fair together.
At the fair, Galileo can either look around or specifically look into one of the stores. If Galileo decides to look around, he and Atlas will browse around, looking at various potions, stuffed animals and others until Atlas specifically looks at one of the stalls. He looks at the painting of a cozy cottage with flowers and reminisces about living there (with Galileo) until they go back. Conversely, if Galileo looks specifically at one of the stores, a place that sells model telescopes, the vender and Galileo will talk about stargazing, with the vender even talking about a shooting star event. He loses Atlas for a bit but finds him looking at some jewelry, where Atlas decides to buy some as a gift to his mother.
Upon going home, Galileo immediately passes out. Atlas after checking if he's fallen asleep, talks about how he was worried that he had put too much sleeping potion into yesterday's tea and that he might not wake up. He has adjusted it, happy to see Galileo's expression every morning when he wakes up. If Galileo went to look at the telescopes, Atlas will unravel the present, showing a ring, and will slide the ring onto Galileo's finger and his. If they went around, Atlas will talk about how the painting was about the future he wanted with Galileo. He states he'll do anything for that dream, and that he hates living in the capital and how he doesn't want to be the family heir, wanting the two of them to run away together. Atlas will have different responses depending on whether or not he was allowed to sew Galileo's shirt, with him being extremely happy if the two of them swapped blazers for him to wear. If you specifically choose the block tea, tease him and trade blazers with Atlas, he will also have a short cute blushy scene where he will try to kiss Galileo on the cheek. After this, he tells Galileo goodnight and says he has to do some "pest control duties" tonight, excited by the face that he will make in the morning.
Upon waking up, Galileo sees Atlas frowning as the two of them drink tea. Atlas breaks the news that Theodore pushed Lucas off the balcony, leading to Lucas being in a coma and Theodore being kicked out of school, claiming that after the incident, the two had an argument and shoved Lucas off the roof. Galileo attempts to comfort Lucas, blaming himself for telling him of the rumor, with the last shot of the game having Atlas elated at the fact that Galileo is hugging him.
First of all, the artwork in this game is seriously gorgeous, from the CGs and the cute little moments that Atlas has with Galileo. The close ups of Atlas are extremely pretty and the small chibi moments are really cute. Even the backgrounds are made to be extremely pretty as well.
The story itself is generally pretty simple, establishing the daily life of Galileo and Atlas in boarding school, drinking tea together, going to classes together, studying together and going to the fair together. The story itself does a pretty good job for some aspects of foreshadowing, with the dreams showing both sides of Atlas's devotion, the more desperate and pathetic side and the romantic and loving side. It is pretty clear that Atlas loves Galileo, but to what extent is fairly unknown at least until we get to the end, when he seemingly causes Lucas to go into a coma and blames it on Theodore and drugs Galileo. I'm not sure why Atlas decided to go after these two boys, likely because Galileo showed interest in their shenanigans perhaps (or to teach him a lesson in the idea that he really does not like listening to rumors), though he does use this by pretending to be extremely upset that this happens so that Galileo will not do this again and so he can get a hug from him. We also learn a bit from the special interaction where Galileo is from a richer family (probably the reason why his grades are so high because he has to live up to his family's legacy), though he has no use for being the heir and will do anything to run away with Galileo. It seems that he's been drugging Galileo for a bit (though based on his worry that he over did it, I'm not sure if it's been a very long time yet) just so he can see him wake up and sleep. There are plenty of cute moments with Atlas fawning over Galileo such as when he complements him and blushes, making their favorite tea (worrying about his health or otherwise happy they share the same tastes), being extremely happy to mend Galileo's clothes (and even more so swapping them) and dreaming of a future together. I also just like the relationship built up between the two, with Galileo being a bit more teasing towards Atlas, and Atlas admiring Galileo and helping him when needed. Generally the only big gripe I have about it is the fact that we never really see Galileo or know too much about him. Technically he is the player character, but given at least on the itch.io page he is likely the red haired character, it would be nice to have some cgs that incorporate both of them. The general motif of stars is really nice, and is placed in most aspects of the story, or at least the key ones. I honestly think this game can be considered a full game, even if short, and it would be cool to see a sequel or even prequel. But as a demo, I think it can also be expanded on if needed to fill out other points.
Overall, extremely pretty and fun game with a nice yandere in it. As I said, I like the relationship developed between Galileo and Atlas and the general world (learning Potionology sounds cool). I hope to see more from this game and characters in the future.

mischievous streak | neuvilette
just another day of you pining over neuvilette and poor wriothesley has to hear all about it. (dw neuvilette makes an appearance!!) fluff. crack. this one is so unserious. 0.7k words
“and when he said ‘oratrice mecanique d'analyse’ did you hear it, wrio?” you swooned, another day of fanning over the iudex of fountaine to your best friend, wriothesley.
“did you?” the duke replied increduosly, as if not really getting the reason why that was the part you’re fawning over. “oh and when he declared ‘guilty’ verdict with such conviction and charisma to that person, i wished that was me.” you went on, the conversation was most definitely one-sided.
“...you wished that you’re in a court and getting a ‘guilty’ verdict?” he blinked, not knowing how to react when the things you’re saying gets more insane as each day passed. “well not really, but i am certainly guilty. guilty for wanting to climb him like a-“
wriothesley cut you off with an exaggerated cough.
“you finish that sentence and i’m sending you to the authorities.” you crossed your arm, “you’re the authorities.” he sighed, “yes and i’m not above putting cuffs on you and throw you to one of the cell.”
you gasped, “you wouldn’t. you’d put me in jail because of love?”
“insanity is what you are, (y/n). seriously, just talk to him.” he picked up his cup of tea wanting to take another sip. “and what do i say, that i’ve been in love with him since forever and that i’d give him a limb in exchange for a date?”
“sure. or, you could say you want to get to know him a little better, and ask him out for some lunch?” he said, his pen not stopping on checking the piling documents on his table. “but that’s like super obvious!” you retorted.
“and saying you’d give him one of your limb isn’t...?” he gave you a side-eye before getting back to his paper. “hmm, fair point.” you tapped your chin with your finger. “but he doesn’t seem like the type who’d just go out with anyone, no? i don’t think i’ve ever seen him with someone,” you claimed, thinking back to all the times you passed him accidentally by remembering his schedules.
“you’re right, but i don’t think that’s by his choice though. i think some people just got really intimidated by the idea of casually hanging out with the iudex of fountaine.” he shrugged. “what?! that’s not fair, even though he’s really kind hearted?”
the man in front of you gave you a mocking smile. “yeah, and you’d know hm? since you hang out with him so much,” he teased. “i don’t like you, you’re attacking me for no reason.” you grumbled. wriothesley just chuckled good naturedly before you continued.
“gosh but seriously, he should have someone by his side, don’t you think? someone’s who’s supportive, who will stand by him no matter what. you know, someone like me? i would treat him so good. i would make him food all day, draw him a bubble bath-“
a cough cut you off, you’d think it’s wriothesley and his unwillingness to hear your sincerity about your feelings towards neuvilette, but when you see that his expression was just as startled, you shut your lips.
both of you turned your heads to the end of the stairs and there he is.
neuvilette.
yes, the very one you’ve been crushing on since forever, oh and did i mention you just said you’d draw him a bubble bath?
the tip of his ears was visibly rosy, as he looked like he tried so hard not to look embarrassed or even phased. “i was let in by the guard, i didn’t realize there is another guest.”
you closed your eyes, counting slowly to three because perhaps it would be able to turn back time, even just a little. wriothesley was just covering his mouth, and you’d bet the other limb you have that he’s currently trying his harderst to hold back a laugh.
this is a situation. a situation you need to diffuse fast with your quick thinking.
you turned to wriothesley. “that’s why i said duke, not only you don’t need to reduce my sentence, please don’t let me out from this jail forever. i would endanger the civilians. thank you for your time duke wriothesley, i am now going to go back to my cell.”
hearing that was just the last straw for your best friend, he laughed out loud. doubling over and all that as he clutched his stomach. after a solid two minutes of him just laughing and you facepalmed yourself, wriothesley gained his composure.
“neuvilette, meet (y/n), the all-over supervisor of the fortress of meropide.”
you glared at him before giving the long-haired man your sweetest smile.
“hello, it’s nice to finally see you down here in the flesh, monsieur neuvilette.” you nodded at him in which he replied with a slight smile. “likewise and please, just call me neuvilette.”
neuvilette gave wriothesley a document as he immediately skimmed through it. “i see, well there’s nothing here that i can give an input on better than (y/n), this is more of their expertise.” your head turned so quick as if you heard a blaring alarm. “then, i would appreciate your insight on this matter if you have the time,” neuvilette said as looked at you and there’s no way you could say no.
“of course! perhaps over lunch? it’s the right time, no?” you bounced back, now feeling excited than nervous. he chuckled at the enthusiasm as he agreed. “yes, you’re right. but perhaps you should know i’m not ready yet for someone to draw me a bubble bath after just one lunch.” he put his fist over his mouth, covering his smile. so turned out the iudex of fountaine has a mischievous streak in his personality after all.
that’s nice. not for your already beyond embarrassed state, though.
“wriothesley, just arrest me right now please.”

re: holodomor reblog i think the generic term 'genocide denial' is deeply pernicious because 'holocaust denial' is so heinous and an obvious declaration of genocidal intent precisely because the holocaust and its scale and intentionality is so well-documented at literally every possible level. the evidence is incontrovertible, and so the only possible way a denial of that can be interpreted is as a declaration that jewish suffering and death is fundamentally invalid, doesn't count, is even desirable. denying the holocaust is a statement of genocidal intent.
& so even if you do believe that e.g. the ukrainian famine or china's oppression of the uyghur people constitute a genocide, treating people (who often, you will find, agree on you on the majority of the established on-the-ground-facts) who don't think either of those things constitutes a 'genocide' as somehow equivalent to holocaust deniers is, like, tremendously and irresponsibly downplaying the magnitude of holocaust denial. & this is going to remain the case until people can come to understand genocide as a specific type of action rather than the extra special bad word for when a crime against humanity is Like, Really Bad This Time
#tattletxt#imo left-wing does the same thing by liberally applying genocidal to every act of american imperialism regardless of what it entailed

HIIIII😚😘
If you still taking requests,Can ı get RANPO(💋),Nikolai,KUNIKIDA(💍),Chuuya(🏍),Dazai and aktugawa with Reader that Flirts with them all the timw and they start gettinf effect by it? (Reader isnt dumb, weak and RAINBOWS AND SUNSHINE😄🦄🌸 Type,ı hate those kind of fics plsssss.)
-🌌
a/n: I felt very aesthetic while creating these headers pls tell me they're pretty. (btw you can use them)
a/n: Nikolai is slightly out of character but I hope it's good enough! and Akutagawa has been so funny to write I love him sm my emo boy
a/n: I WORKED FOR A WHOLE WEEK ON THIS PLEASE LIKE THIS

HEADCANONS
our adult child is NOT used to be flirted with!
he doesn't really know what he should do so he usually turns your attempts at turning him on into jokes
he'll try to flirt back sometimes though but he always ends up making you laugh because most of his flirts or pickup lines are about snacks/candies
he doesn't like not being good at things so he pouts for a looong while whenever you laugh at his flirts
SOMETIMES you actually manage to make him react but it's very rare because even if it doesn't look like it he has a lot of self control
when he can't take your flirts any more he pouts and crosses his arms on his chest, puffing his pink cheeks and declaring out loud "Y/n is stupid. I told them repeatedly not to." in front of the whole ada and everything stops there.
STORY
everyone in the agency was busy completing paperwork, everyone except Ranpo and you. Ranpo, as usual, sat rocking in his chair, feet propped up on the desk as he played by waving a lollipop in the air. not that he doesn't have some reports to write too, but he doesn't seem to have the slightest intention of doing so. and besides, why on earth if no one has the heart to object? you, on the other hand, were particularly intent on peeking over Kunikida's shoulder while, having just finished completing a document for the president, he writes in his notebook. It has to be said that it's not as interesting as you expected. as one might imagine, Kunikida was not particularly fond of writing about his innermost secrets and listing all those beautiful rules that he was so crazy about in the office, under the constant danger that Dazai (or you, in this case) would read them. and so, abandoning the hope of making fun of him, you head towards Ranpo's desk, trotting around his chair thinking about what to do to relieve the boredom a little. What better than flirting with your most beloved coworker? so you approach his chair from behind, silently with small steps, almost like a child would do while playing at being a spy or a ninja. it's not a difficult task since Ranpo is so engrossed in his treasures (the incredible amount of candies and sweets arranged on his desk) that he didn't even notice that you had moved from behind Kunikida's back. you poke his head and when he turns around on his chair you're already a few centimeters from his face, your noses practically touching. you look at him with a sly smile and chant almost as if to scold him "Ranpo-kun, shouldn't you be compiling all those forms?~" he looks at you perplexed for a moment, then his expression changes a little and his face wrinkles into a pout, his cheeks flushed from being too close. "as if you had nothing to do."
"It's different. You're so good and smart." you say with a sneaky sweet voice. he looks at you askance for a second: he knows perfectly well that the fact that he is intelligent does not exempt you from completing the documents at all, but he always has a weakness for compliments (and regardless, he's not doing them either so he can't complain). "well, at least you know." he finally says in a slightly arrogant voice, but blushing heavily.

HEADCANONS
Nikolai is... particular, extravagant to say the least, and it's not easy to say how he might react to a possible flirtation
I think he would flirt back
after the surprise of your first flirts he would use his skill to flirt in the most extravagant ways later
he would make a bouquet of flowers appear in front of you while you walk, perhaps not even in moments when you are together
However, he wouldn't be so good with words
I also think he would both like you but also dislike the fact that he feels so attracted to you because of that thing about freedom and his various weird obsessions.
STORY
you were walking through the wide corridors of the DOA buildings, joking and laughing as usual, the last lights of the day through the windows create long shadows while the various rooms are colored orange and gold by the sun's rays. "Nikolai?"
"What is it?"
"I was wondering" you smile a little, nudging his arm lightly "how are things going with the damsels?"
"damsels? I don't know what you're talking about, you know. I don't have any." he smiles too, already knowing where the conversation is going.
"ah no? but what a waste of beauty, then!" You say, smiling mischievously. he looks at you out of the corner of his eye and pats you on the back "you know, if you want to lie to me maybe you should take acting lessons." you take a big breath, dramatically, covering your mouth with both hands and looking straight at him, still walking. "What! I'm honest! How dare you insinuate such a thing, Nikolai!" he smiles at you and wraps an arm around your shoulders, holding you a little closer to him as you walk "then I must have misunderstood. Forgive me, but did you happen to say that I'm handsome?" you smile at him like a little devil "yes, beautiful. inside, though. we don't want to talk about" and you point at him up and down, smirking. he laughs. "nice inside, inside! well, that's something, I guess! but I know you don't think that either, Y/n. no one does." you pout a little to hide a smirk, tying his long braid around your fingers "how dramatic you are. it doesn't suit a clown. and besides, with women like me it's not at all impressive to act depressed, you know?~" he lets out a mock-melancholy “ohh,” placing a hand over his heart “Y/n, why are you talking like that?” then after a short pause he turns away and says in a low voice, as if he didn't want to be heard "how do you impress someone like you, anyway? nothing ever surprises you."
you smirk "hm? did you say something, Kolya?~" he keeps smiling quietly, but you can see a slight blush on his ears and cheeks.

HEADCANONS
a total mess whenever you flirt
can't flirt at all
gets angry when you use your charm to convince him doing things he doesn't want to but will do it anyway
always scared you might want to kill him or something because he's aware he's totally dumb when it's about you
STORY
Kunikida is trying to write the report of the last mission but it proves extremely difficult, since he has you on his lap. not that he gave you permission, of course. you do it, every now and then, when you're bored. he's never been able to stop you, both because he secretly has a crush on you and doesn't really want you to leave, and because as soon as you touch him he blushes heavily and can't speak anymore. he's currently stammering some incoherent sentence, the pen gripped so tightly in his hands that his knuckles and fingertips have turned white, his cheeks and ears dyed a dark red. “Y-Y/n… I-I have to… the report…” you giggle and brush your fingers on his cheek "you're cute when you're embarrassed, Kun-kun~" he raises his head to the ceiling, barely swallowing his saliva "s-stop it... and don't... call me like that... it's inappropriate..." you tilt your head at side, looking at him sideways "inappropriate? no, don't say that, I'm just playing~" you chant, chuckling. he lets out a shaky sigh and lowers his head again, looking at you for a few seconds. after the silence, you hear the sound of his shirt sleeve as he raises his arm to place his hand on your back, his other hand finally letting go of the pen and resting on the arm of his chair. "playing... I guess... a game isn't inappropriate..."

HEADCANONS
the way he reacts totally depends on what happened that day
if everything is okay he might even flirt back
if he just came back from a mission or Mori/Dazai are annoying him he will just get mad and try to ignore you
if he's drunk... he will totally flirt back. one time he was drunk and he even asked you out while you were flirting but then he forgot he did and everything stopped there.
STORY
you're in a meeting, chuuya's hat on your head as he tries to ignore you and convince himself he'll take it back later. his subordinates stare at him with a confused look, but don't dare say anything. after all, they know that Chuuya is already annoyed by the loss of the hat and they have no intention of being the outlet for his anger. no one even wonders why he isn't yelling at you, by now they know very well that whatever you do their boss wouldn't do anything to you, while the same can't be said about them...
When everyone leaves the meeting room and begins to scatter through the corridors, Chuuya finally turns his gaze to you. "give it back to me now." "give you back what?" you ask with those innocent eyes of yours that Chuuya knows very well are anything but that, but he can never resist him anyway. he lets out a sigh, shaking his head. "Y/n-kun, don't start again…" "What's up?" you insist. "you know what." "Come on, I just want to have fun~" you give up on trying to act good and admit you're actually having fun annoying him. "Stealing pieces of my clothing isn't fun!" he replies annoyed. "…I don't know. It depends on which part of the clothing." you answer him bluntly with a smirk, winking at him. he remains perplexed for a few seconds, then understands the double meaning, snorts and turns away blushing. "You could have avoided this one." he mutters in a fake-angry tone. you chuckle and place the hat back on his head “no, I don’t think so.”

HEADCANONS
even more flirty than you!
he asoblutely loves whenever you are the one who start the flirt
he's quite confident about this so I think it'd be a little hard to get him flustered
anyway if you show him you care about him and also flirt with him I think the combo would work because he's not particularly used to have people caring for him and also flirting.
STORY
you were at the agency, Kunikida and Atsushi left for a mission and Yosano, Tanizaki and naomi went shopping (and of course Ranpo is with Poe). obviously, being alone, you and Dazai have nothing better to do than flirting. It feels more like an act than a flirt, to be honest. you look like children playing, rather than two adults courting each other. Dazai is kneeling a few steps away from you, one hand on his chest and his other arm extended towards you, immersed in reciting the lyrics of a song you like so much with such a dramatic expression. you, on the other hand, are standing in front of him, laughing out loud.
"ah, Y/n! you're so beautiful!" he says, stopping repeating the refrain and returning to his usual speeches. "Would you by any chance be interested in committing a double suicide, with me, Belladonna?~" you look at him with a kind look, but an arrogant smile proves something completely different. “well, well, if you ask me like that, like a gentleman, how could I ever refuse, my dear~”
he looks up at you for a moment, then get up and step close to you, wrapping an arm around your waist and holding your hand with the other "ah!~ I've always knew you were the one!" you chuckle slightly, resting your hean against his shoulder "yes, you always did, huh? you know, it's so bad we're gonna commit. I could have even wanted to date you if you lasted a little longer~". at that, his eyes widen and he stares at you "date me?" you nod.
"date me..." he repeats, perplexed, then his cheeks tyrn a light pink and he smiles softly "date me. oh well. maybe, just maybe, I could live a week or two longer just to date you."

HEADCANONS
he's aggressive and complaining at first but after a while (like maybe months????) he understands getting mad at you won't stop you
he starts to find out he doesn't totally gate it when you flirt with him (and it mekes him insecure about himself)
his face gets all red whan you do it in private
when you're in public he tries to ignore you and act cool but he will most likely "scold" you when the other people leave.
STORY
he sits in front of his desk, trying to ignore you while you remain leaning against his chair, placing some weight on his back from behind, brushing your fingers over the shoulders of his coat, getting close but never touching his neck. it's not a rare event, you seem to have been targeting him for months and he's given up at the idea of being able to get rid of you. at first he pushed you away forcefully, a frown on his pretty face as he muttered some insult. now, he simply lets you do whatever you want, since you would do it anyway. "A-ku-ta-ga-wa~" you sing softly, looking over the back of his head at the various documents he is completing and which he should (let's emphasize should, because with you in his office he definitely won't make it in time) deliver to Mori by the end of the day. "What do you want?" he mutters in a bad mood, continuing to write. "I'm bored, you know." "then go away and do something." you turn your head away, letting out a small "hah!", annoyed. well, if this doesn't work... you decide to try another method. "Akutagawa-san..." you whisper in his ear, leaning in so that your faces are close enough "I just want to be with you... take a little break, please~" even before you finish speaking you can already see his face turning a deep red as he tries to turn around so that you can't watch him. "hm? what's the matter? have you finally realized you can't ignore my charm forever, Aku?~" there are a few moments of silence, then he speaks again "...just shut up.." he mumbles, blushing heavily and still looking away. "what? I can't hear you~" you say with a smirk as you wrap your arms around his neck. "I said just shut up, Y/n!" he yells, but he reluctantly wraps a hand around your arm as a sort of cuddle.

A structured way to learn JavaScript.
I came across a post on Twitter that I thought would be helpful to share with those who are struggling to find a structured way to learn Javascript on their own. Personally, I wish I had access to this information when I first started learning in January. However, I am grateful for my learning journey so far, as I have covered most topics, albeit in a less structured manner.
N/B: Not everyone learns in the same way; it's important to find what works for you. This is a guide, not a rulebook.
EASY
What is JavaScript and its role in web development?
Brief history and evolution of JavaScript.
Basic syntax and structure of JavaScript code.
Understanding variables, constants, and their declaration.
Data types: numbers, strings, boolean, and null/undefined.
Arithmetic, assignment, comparison, and logical operators.
Combining operators to create expressions.
Conditional statements (if, else if, else) for decision making.
Loops (for, while) for repetitive tasks. - Switch statements for multiple conditional cases.
MEDIUM
Defining functions, including parameters and return values.
Function scope, closures, and their practical applications.
Creating and manipulating arrays.
Working with objects, properties, and methods.
Iterating through arrays and objects.Understanding the Document Object Model (DOM).
Selecting and modifying HTML elements with JavaScript.Handling events (click, submit, etc.) with event listeners.
Using try-catch blocks to handle exceptions.
Common error types and debugging techniques.
HARD
Callback functions and their limitations.
Dealing with asynchronous operations, such as AJAX requests.
Promises for handling asynchronous operations.
Async/await for cleaner asynchronous code.
Arrow functions for concise function syntax.
Template literals for flexible string interpolation.
Destructuring for unpacking values from arrays and objects.
Spread/rest operators.
Design Patterns.
Writing unit tests with testing frameworks.
Code optimization techniques.
That's it I guess!

The one thing I remain interested in after reading the amount I had to about Mangione (and the conspiracies surrounding him) is the repeated claim that he wasn't fingerprinted. Not because I think it's true, but because it's such a perfect little conspiracy nugget.
(Warning: mostly just messy, rambling thoughts below the cut, I'm just typing this to get it out of my head.)
What I think makes it so perfect are the following factors:
It allegedly has a source
It supports the narrative that people already want to be true: there is no evidence, and he is being set up by the police
Once excepted, it creates an essentially unfalsifiable narrative of innocence, where evidence that contradicts the claim (that is, the claim that he wasn't fingerprinted) actually supports the conspiracy theory
Because it relies on a primary source, it sets up its believers to feel like they are thinking critically (even though they are not)
The source I've seen linked when the claim is repeated is the same one I linked before, although in more complete form - the Pennsylvanian Criminal Complaint. And let's take a moment to actually look at it.
It says, "DNA" and "NO" is checked. It also asks, "Defendant Fingerprinted," and "NO" is checked again.
So what does this mean?
As previously noted, all of this is in the "Defendant Identification Information," the same area as where his height, weight, and I color are included. There is also a space to put in vehicle identification information. There is then a signature for the commonwealth's* attorney, then a declaration by two police officers. The next couple pages list the crimes he is charged with, page four contains a narrative of the alleged criminal conduct he is being charged with and the arrest, and finally, on page five, the police officers sign requesting that a warrant of arrest or summons be issued.
*For folks outside the U.S.: some states like to be pretentious and refer to themselves as "commonwealth" rather than a state.
So what does the question about fingerprinting (and dna, etc) mean? Is this indicating whether or not a defendant was fingerprinted at the time of arrest? At the time he was booked? Whether he was or will ever be fingerprinted? Were fingerprints used to identify him as himself? Used to identify him as the alleged criminal? (For what it's worth - these are knowable questions, you can actually look it up. More info is at the bottom if you are curious.) If you actually look at the source, it's a huge leap to conclude that this little checkbox means "he wasn't fingerprinted."
Especially because if you scroll to the bottom of page 4, the last line of the written narrative says, "The Defendant will need to be fingerprinted and photographed."
Huh. That makes it sound like that at the time this document was written, he hadn't been fingerprinted or photographed (both of which usually are going to happen when someone is booked), but that the officers are indicating it should and will happen in the future.
So if you actually look at this source, and you think about it, it isn't a source for the claim.
...but it kind of looks like a source if you don't think about it.
Which is why it's so perfect for creating a conspiracy.
Because now you have a claim, with a source. And the claim fits right into the things people want to believe: 1) that there is no evidence of Mangione's guilt and 2) he is being targeted by the police/system.
And part of what makes it such a perfect conspiracy claim is that it isn't actually necessary to criticize the police or the media surrounding this case. By which I mean: there is plenty of bullshit in the charges (e.g. the terrorism overcharging), the way he is being treated by the police (e.g. the perpwalk) and the media (because sidenote yes, I agree, if nothing else, that CEO was directly responsible for the horrible deaths of way more people than anyone is accusing Mangione of, and he did it for profit, and isn't that the real problem what is wrong with you people) that you can talk about in reality without descending into conspiracism.
And you don't need it to question the police's statements that his fingerprints match fingerprints collected nearby. A) We only have the police statement right now - none of the media reporting on this have actually seen the alleged prints or the basis for allegedly finding they matched Mangione. B) What's the quality of the prints? There is a big difference between partial latent prints and a clean set. C) How were they matched? Despite what media portrays, fingerprint analysis can be a lot more subjective and less scientific than you would hope (again, especially when comparing poor-quality partial latent prints).
But the problem is that none of that creates the clean, unfalsifiable narrative that "they didn't fingerprint him" does. Because of course, he can be treated unfairly, and still have done it. (And as I said before, this mistreatment is much less unique, much more of how the system normally functions, than you would hope.) And because maybe the fingerprints will turn out to be high-quality and likely place him near the scene. Or maybe (with or without any potential fingerprint evidence) there is enough evidence for a reasonable jury to convict him.
You don't need conspiracy to have doubts about some of the evidence that is being claimed - but you do need it to claim that it is impossible for him to have done it.
Because once you believe the claim that he wasn't fingerprinted, later evidence that does (or even just claims to) show a fingerprint link between him and the scene isn't just questionable: it's now more proof of the conspiracy. The evidence disproving the claim: documentation that they did fingerprint him, claims that his prints put him near the scene - contradict the supposed source. And so now, while some people will recognize that oh, maybe we were wrong about the original source, others will fall deeper down the conspiracy hole.
Because we all know he wasn't fingerprinted, but now they are claiming he was - something is wrong, something is fishy: are they manufacturing evidence? Did they realize they didn't have enough evidence to pin the crime on him, so they went back to create more, better evidence? This isn't evidence we were wrong, it's evidence that this goes so much deeper that we could have imagined.
And that certainty of conspiracy, the unwillingness to believe contradictory evidence, will likely be enhanced because it feels like you are thinking critically (even though you aren't). Because you looked at the original, primary, source, you're not just believing what the media tells you! You went and found out for yourself!
When in reality, critical thinking means more than just looking at a source, seeing something that seems to fit your narrative, and running with it. It requires actually thinking. In this case - what could these checkboxes mean in context? Am I misinterpreting this? Could there be some other reasonable explanation? Does my interpretation match other information provided (even in the same document)? Does this conspiracy even make sense (why wouldn't they fingerprint him? No, really? If the police have arrested him, why wouldn't they fingerprint him? It's a standard part of booking, and it's a way for them to potentially find evidence to use against him. (And even if you want to think conspiratorially, and claim that they didn't want to take his fingerprints because they know he's innocent and so they can't use them to claim he's guilty, they will have to manufacture fake fingerprints, they didn't take his real fingerprints because they knew it would exonerate him!!!!! - why would they admit their nefarious misdeeds on the first page of the public charging document? Wouldn't it make more sense to lie and claim he was fingerprinted?))
But none of that may matter, once you go too far down the rabbit hole. Confirmation bias is a hell of a thing, and the more elements you have to prop it up - the idea that you have a real source for the belief, the confidence that you are thinking critically - the harder it can be to let go.
---------------------
Anyway, as promised, what's actually going on with these checkboxes? I talked before about the DNA checkbox - it’s currently not legal in Pennsylvania for the police to collect routine DNA samples upon arrest.
But what about that "Defendant Fingerprinted" box?
Well, let's look at Title 234 Pennsylvania Rules of Criminal Procedure (Pa.R.Crim.P) Rules 504 (Contents of Complaint). 504(9) requires that every Pennsylvania criminal complaint includes "a notation that the defendant has or has not been fingerprinted."
Ok! So according to the police, he wasn't fingerprinted at the time this complaint was filed.
What does that mean? Reading from the comment below the rule:
"The requirement that the affiant who prepares the complaint indicate whether the defendant has been fingerprinted as required by the Criminal History Record Information Act, 18 Pa.C.S. § 9112, is included so that the issuing authority knows whether it is necessary to issue a fingerprint order with the summons as required by Rule 510."
Ok, so let's look at Rule 510 and 18 Pa.C.S. § 9112.
Rule 510 (Contents of Summons; Notice of Preliminary Hearing)(C)(2) states that when a court issues the summons (the document requiring a defendant to appear in court, after a criminal complaint is filed and accepted), it must also include "an order directing the defendant to submit to fingerprinting in all cases in which the defendant has not been fingerprinted, except cases initiated by private complaint."
18 Pa.C.S. § 9112 (Mandatory fingerprinting) (a) states that "Fingerprints of all persons arrested for a felony, misdemeanor or summary offense which becomes a misdemeanor on a second arrest after conviction of that summary offense, shall be taken by the arresting authority, and within 48 hours of the arrest, shall be forwarded to, and in a manner and such a form as provided by, the central repository."
What does all this mean?
It means the law recognizes that sometimes a complaint will be completed before someone is booked and fingerprinted. Fingerprinting is mandatory, so the complaint has a little checkbox where it indicates whether or not the person has already had there fingerprints taken at the time the complaint was filed. So the police officer has to make a notation to let court knows whether it needs follow up and make sure they are taken later or not. In this case, as indicated at the end the narrative, at the time the officer wrote the complaint, Mangione hadn't been fingerprinted and photographed yet. So the officer noted both in the relevant checkbox, and in the body of the complaint, that these things were tasks that still needed to be completed.

hi hello it's a small ghost fire au art dump \o/
some of y'all have seen these already but whatever lol ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ no longer gatekeeping at least xD
anywho, some infodumping here as well under the cut! establishing who's what and so on :D there are some differences from what i've said in older posts for this au bc this is very much still in the works lol
i'm definitely down for suggestions for characters and plot ideas btw!
to give some background info, this au's world is pretty much like our own but with yokai thrown into the mix. some interact with (and/or are malicious towards) humans, so a government agency was formed to document them, with specially trained agents to subdue/defeat yokai causing trouble.
this is where raidou comes in! officially, he's one of those agents that do documentation. unofficially, he also helps defeat yokai because they hate him especially for whatever reason. he's a bit of a yokai magnet, if you will. half-thought-out plot right there but we might get back to that eventually. he can also spot yokai even if they're purposefully staying hidden, which is partially why he's so good at his job.
anywho, part of raidou's current team is kakashi! kakashi is from a long line of powerful exorcists, and his left eye has the ability to pinpoint yokai weaknesses, among other things. said eye also lends a little more power to his talismans and charms so yay for that. obito and rin are still alive in this au, but sakumo isn't, with mysterious circumstances surrounding his death. another half-thought-out plot right there.
next, part of raidou's former team was genma! genma used to work with raidou as a fellow documentation agent, going more into initial scouting/assessing than actual recording. unfortunately (as you could probably tell from the art and fics involving this au), he's not quite alive anymore (rip). it was initially assumed that he'd disappeared on a one-off solo mission, but after his body was discovered washed up on a beach, he was declared officially dead. now he's a funayurei (ghosts of those that died at sea) - i originally had him as a shiranui (a type of onibi (demon fire/wil o' wisp) found on a sea i forgot the name of) bc of his last name but i think this works out a little bit better - he just has a pair of hitodama (onibi-like things that are basically kind of like a yurei's (ghost's) soul detached from the body) hovering around, to give a similar vibe haha. depictions of yurei are typically white clothes, long black hair, etc. etc. but i did read that they can appear in the clothes they died in, so i'm going with that. but hey on another note - now that they're reunited, genma's back on the yokai documentation grind. just. as a yokai himself xD
anywho, these two have been the most consistent in raidou's team. he has definitely worked with other agents before, but those agents were more like specialists assigned for specific missions. more on that eventually.
izumo and kotetsu don't really fit into any of the categories i've described so far. they're two among many undercover agents established all over the country, often in somewhat more remote areas, responsible for reporting yokai threats in their assigned sectors. izumo and kotetsu specifically are undercover as convenience store employees, with said convenience store also working as a safe house. any agents assigned to that area can restock supplies/weapons, get some rest, or establish contact with hq. and like i said in previous posts about them, they are able to deal with yokai to a certain extent. not powerhouses by any means, but they can usually hold their own until reinforcements arrive. izumo favors talismans and dart guns that usually contain a tranquilizing substance. kotetsu, meanwhile, favors larger bladed weapons (and ofc they're both proficient in other weapons xD) as such, they're a good combo of long range and close combat
overall, the jounin would probably be the higher-ranking all rounders, tokubetsu jounin would be the specialists, and chuunin would be the undercover agents i mentioned earlier. as for anbu, they'd probably be the ones dealing with large scale threats. ofc there are exceptions, especially those at the agency headquarters. (this is def formatted similarly to canon xD)
moving on to the yokai! while i have done research, this definitely isn't fully fleshed out yet. here's what i do have though!
hayate and yugao: the two are a pair of sword and scabbard tsukumogami, which are yokai generally agreed to be objects that have gained life and sentience after reaching 100 years of age. they busted out of a museum ages ago and have since lived together, passing relatively well as normal people. i will admit i took artistic liberties though; most art i've seen of tsukumogami look distinctively more like the objects they used to be. for my own sanity i've made them more humanoid xD
anko: she is a bakeneko, a type of mischievous cat yokai that is sometimes said to come from cats that became yokai after being raised for a certain number of years (exact number varies) or to exact revenge against cruel humans. i don't have much else on her so that's about it for now :3
and uh. that's all i have actually. i thought i had more tbh but oh well. like i said before - feel free to give suggestions, ideas, or questions! and if you made it this far, thanks for reading :3
link to fic series ^still vaguely shy abt this lol (also provides context for the first two images o7)
oh and speaking of context, the third image (bright blue background) is for another vague plot line i haven't talked about yet. maybe more on that later.

Douce amere epilogue, (older) Dipper pines x reader, ~3.1k words Masterlist Prev
What happened in the six years since you got together?
Well, you graduated, you figured out long distance, you both ended up bridging the gap and moving to Gravity Falls to live in the mystery shack together while you did school, and other research or ghost hunting endeavours. Things were good.
Until about two weeks ago, on a random summer night, when Dipper got weird.
The first time it happened was in the woods after your tracked down a moth man type creature. After documenting it, on the walk back, Dipper looked at you, and then promptly went silent for most of the walk back, only speaking in one word answers. Why? You had no idea.
And it only got worse from there. You’d be on the couch watching a movie, and he’d clam up and leave the room, even if you were sitting on him and he had to throw your legs off to get there.
He’d get so nervous, and you knew all his tells, you could sense it even before he’d leave. One one occasion, you could see it in his eyes even before he seemed to notice. While you had a close look at his him when he pulled away from a kiss, you could see his pupils shifted smaller and the fear that crossed them before he left.
So that was pretty weird.
In truth, you were surprised when he suggested a date. It didn’t seem like he was… up for it.
All was normal on the way there. A meteor shower was set to pass overhead tonight, and you were headed to a clearing in the forest.
Dipper set down the blanket, and you happily sat down beside him, feeling the grass blades fold beneath you and the fabric. “Think there’s aliens on them?” You asked, laying your back on the ground. “Oooh, maybe one lands in Gravity falls, and it has some crazy face hugger like from Alien,” you said, kicking your feet in the air.
The sky was clear overhead, not a single cloud. And in the forest, no light pollution, meaning the stars and moon were bright enough to see by, and entirely visible. No shooting stars yet, though.
Dipper snickered. “You sound too excited, would that really be a good thing? Don’t they die in that movie?”
“Well, we’re built different from those guys,” you declared with a grin, “I’d fight it off.” For a dramatic flourish and punctuation to the promise, you kicked your feet wildly in the air, and pumped your first up at the moon.
You turned your head on its side to look at Dipper as he laughed. Meteor shower be damned, sometimes the sky was prettier in the reflection of his eyes.
He met your gaze, smiling slightly as a blush crept onto his cheeks. Oh no. The dreaded blush. His eyes flickered across your face, and he turned back away from you, pursing his lips as he looked up at the sky. Not again.
You waited for him to say something, react, continue the conversation. Just anything, please. But he didn’t, and your patience was finite. As you scanned his face, you could see the but of sweat starting on his forehead. Not this. Again.
You frowned, crossing your arms over your chest as you turned your head back up to look at the sky. The first of the meteor shower caught your eye, and for a moment you forgot you were upset. But the feeling was fleeting. He still hadn’t uttered a single word.
Why was he pulling away so much? The question echoed angrily in your mind. No words, no explanation, just this. The silence of him next to you looking vaguely uncomfortable.
With a sigh, you sat up, and looked down at him. The fear was palpable on his face. You jaw tightened as you spoke, “okay, what’s up with you?” You asked firmly, the annoyance and bit of worry built up over weeks bubbling up. “Spit it out.
Dipper blinked a few times. “What?” He asked, voice cracking. His hands moved to his pockets as he sat up with you, to see eye to eye.
Meteors passed overhead, but you were having this conversation. “What is this?” you asked, gesturing vaguely at his whole self, trying not to sound mad. “For like, weeks, you’ve been…” you looked at the ground.
Distant. That was the word you were thinking, but didn’t want to say. He’d been distant. Anytime he was close, he’d pull back. Do this. Go quiet. You weren’t sure you wanted the answer, but the weight of the question was sinking a pit into your stomach. You had to ask it.
Your fingers curls hard around the blanket, enough that you could feel the dirt and grass roots tear underneath. The stars above were far too pretty for the ugly conversation you were prepared to have. Deep breath. “I just- what has been going on with you?” You asked, setting all bits of pride aside.
Dippers eyes widened as he stuttered a moment, before clearing his throat as he scrambled to come up with an answer. As usual, he was sweaty, and your heart fell at the look of distress over his face.
A sigh escaped your lips. Figures. Your jaw clenched shut as he managed meaningless half sentences. Fragments of denials and apologies crept out as you saw the panic spread across his face.
Oh god. Was he actually going to break up with you?
“I’m sorry,” he sighed, running a hand through his hair and carelessly knocking his hat off behind him.
Holy shit he was for real? Instantly, you leaned back, and recoiled away. “Sorry?” You managed, wide eyes curling into a glare, more out of bafflement than anything. Before two weeks ago, you were fine. Was… was he actually for real? You blinked a few times to avoid tears, and scowled to repress them back.
Dippers arm raised to follow you back, but they froze and fell as he got close. Oh god, he was for real, he didn’t even want to touch you. His brow raised with the pitch of his voice. “Y-yeah?” He sputtered. “What- what’s going on, here?”
You shook your head, sadness for the moment ceased and replaced with annoyed confusion. Your jaw hung open, “Fucking what do you mean what’s going on here? I don’t fucking know,” you were getting animated with your hands now as you stared him down. “Are you breaking up with me or not, spit it out,” you said, his waffling helping you stay annoyed rather then sorrowful.
“What?!” He shouted, recoiling back the same as you, and nearly falling over, barely catching himself to lean on his arms. “No! No I’m not, what?”
“What?” You shouted back. “What the fuck else is this the set up for!?”
He flushed red, and his hands flew to cover his face. Without them to lean on, he fell on his back with a groan. “I’m sorry, I’m an idiot,” he said, muffled.
What? The fuck else? You stared at him skeptical and slack jawed for a few moments as he laid there in lament. What was he on?
With a sigh, he sat up, his face still completely painted red. He looked at you, grimacing. “Okay, firstly, I’m sorry for making you worry,” he said, putting his hands together and pointing at you.
This man was going to be the god damned death of you.
“Secondly,” he sucked a breath in through his teeth, and paused. His face fell back into his hands and he groaned again. Great. More of this. You stayed silent, waiting for some justification for all this. And by god, if it wasn’t good, you might get more annoyed at him for the last two weeks. “Secondly-“ he started again.
Shooting stats passed you both by behind him, but you couldn’t take your eyes away.
It took another pause and another groan for him to try a different approach. “It’s… this is so hard to say, you don’t even know,” he managed, raising his head from his palms to look at you.
Your brow was raised in your skepticism, but you were going to hear him out even if his intent was to waffle for the entire night. “I can tell by looking,” you said, shaking your head.
“No, dude, you don’t know the half of it,” he complained, tapping his fingers against the ground. His hand found his discarded hat behind him, and started to fidget with its rim as he spoke. “I’ve been trying to say this for like, weeks, but I just haven’t been able to.”
“Yeah I can tell that, too.”
He heaved a sigh, and took a stance. He crossed his legs, fully facing you as he steadied himself on his arms and dug his palms into the blanket.
“Okay, so…” he took a breath, and didn’t break eye contact. Or… more or less eye contact. His gaze wasn’t fixed on your eyes, but seemed to be jumping between and scanning your features. For what, you couldn’t be sure. “I’ve been waiting for the right moment, but like-“ he suppressed a smile as he shook his head. “-most moments feel like the right one, and so I panic and yeah… I guess I have been avoiding you,” he admitted.
Oh god. Where was he going with this. Your heart was pounding in your chest, and you head was complete empty.
“Because it’s just… I don’t know, it’s scary,” he laughed dryly. “It still is. But, uh- I’ve been meaning to ask-“ he sighed, chewing the inside of his lip as he stalled. He pursed his lips, seemingly going through every emotion under the sun.
After one more sigh, he reached a hand into his sweater pocket. Oh god. “I’m sorry I had you so worried, Y/n,” he said, pulling something out. “It’s the opposite, I’ve been meaning to ask..”
He opened his hand, and inside was a box. Your breath stilled. He opened the box, and inside was a ring. Your heart stilled.
“If you’d want to marry me.”
Your jaw fell stupidly open, probably making you look like a moron. You weren’t entirely sure you heart was beating, but you were alive, so that was a pretty good indication. Unless you were dead, and this was an oxygen starved brains fever dream. But considering you didn’t recall getting into any life threatening accidents on the way here, you’d have to move forward with the assumption that you were alive and this was happening. For real.
You blinked a few times. With that context, the last two weeks made more sense. You glanced at Dipper, then at the ring, then at Dipper. The ring was pretty. A smile crept onto your lips, and you watched distress slowly melt from his face. “You’re a huge idiot moron,” you grinned, starting to feel your heartbeat creep back into your chest.
“Huh?”
You saw the fear start to creek back into him, but you squashed it like a bug as you tackled him in a hug. His back his the blanket, and your face landed square in his chest, where for a moment you could hear the hummingbird pace of his heart. “Dipper,” you grinned, feeling him hesitantly wrap him arms around you. “In what universe would I ever say no?”
“Does that mean you’re saying yes?” He asked hopefully, and you could feel his breath hitch.
“Yes,” you laughed, eyes pressed shut to stop the tears you definitely felt coming. This moron.
“Oh my god, really?” He asked, genuine surprise lacing his tone.
You laughed again, sitting up to wipe your eyes and look down at him still laying there, your legs sweeping to his side. “Fucking yes, Dipper!”
He looked up at you with a shocked expression, his eyes wide and mouth hanging open. “Woah, thanks,” he said stupidly.
This man was going to be the god damned death of you. You grinned, wiping your eyes as your vision blurred and cleared to keep seeing his surprised face beneath you. “Of course I wanna marry you, Dipshit, I’ve been in love with you since we were fourteen,” you laughed, half a choke.
He started to smile, laughing with you as he covered his eyes with the heels of his palm. “I thought you’d say we were too young, or that you just didn’t want to, or that you didn’t… I don’t know, want to commit, or something.”
“We’ve been together for like six years, none of that makes any sense,” you laughed, tears beginning to stream down your face.
“Well I’m realizing that now,” he laughed.
“Oh, you are the dumbest smart guy I know,” you sniffled.
Dipper paused, pulling his hands from his eyes as he sat up, his face a foot from yours. “Oh, you’re crying,” he said gently, his own eyes glistening.
“Yeah, my boyfriend just proposed to me, I don’t know if you heard,” you managed, wiping your eyes on your palm.
Dipper laughed, his own tears staining his cheeks. “I did hear, actually.”
Wow, you were actually going to marry this dweeb. This big idiot moron. You grinned, shaking your head, hesitant still to believe this was real, even if you were alive. Would you want his last name? Probably, even if you ended up hyphenating it. Being a Pines sounded… you giggled at the thought. “I’m gonna be like, married to you, I’ll be a Pines for real.”
He smiled softly, “You’ve always been an honorary Pines.”
You grinned, pulling him closer by the nape and leaning in. Your forehead rested on his, and you could feel the heat radiating off his face. Even with eyes softly shut you could tell he was blushing. “I cannot believe you, man,” you said, practically grinning against his lips. “And you had me worried you were dumping me.”
He laughed, shaking his head gently. “And you say I’m the idiot,” he teased. “Because in what universe would I do that?”
”Dude, you were acting crazy,” you managed, tucking your fingers under his shirt by his neck to keep them warmer in the night air.
“Still, though,” he laughed, finally closing the smallest gap between you and kissing you. You could taste the salt from the tears on the bridge of his lip, and could guess he noticed the same on you. “I think that you’re the idiot here, not me,” he laughed when he pulled just slightly back.
You sighed as you pulled away too and got a better look at him. He was backlit by the moon, and a whole mess. You probably were too, the worry and joy overwhelming entirely. You took a breath, and wiped your face again.
Yeah, you were alive. You could feel your heart again, and the blanket beneath you and the texture of the grass beneath that. Your body was warm, blood flowing, lungs breathing.
Dippers eyes widened. He whipped his head around, scanning the blanket and the grass around it. “Oh god, where’d the ring go?” He asked, starting to stand up to check underneath him.
You giggled, “Oh, you dropped it when I knocked you down,” you said, scanning the ground with him. You lifted your knees to look underneath. The light of the stars and meteors and moon wasn’t amazing for finding a small black box.
Your eyes landed on a black blob in the darkness at the corner of the blanket. While Dipper looked around, you grabbed it silently, fingers curling around it. The box with the ring. You could only imagine how heavy it was in his pocket this whole time, however light it may seem.
His back was turned as he searched somewhat frantically. Grinning, you opened the box at him. “Will you marry me?” You asked cheekily, watching the way he relaxed when he saw it in your hands.
“Of course,” he sighed, sitting back down across from you.
Your heart flickered as he gently took the ring from you, and his hand softly brushed up against yours. His eyes briefly fluttered to yours before he smiled, and looked back down.
He took your hand in his. Oh wow, it’s happening. His slightly calloused fingers against yours may as well have been a defibrillator the way each touch sent a small shock to your system. His hands were warm, a stark contrast to the cold of the metal he slipped onto your ring finger. Hey, that’s what the fingers for, it’s in the name.
You grinned stupidly at him as he finished, eyes lifting from your engaged hand to your engaged eyes.
”There, now it’s official,” he smiled.
“Official,” you echoed, scooting closer to him.
“Mabel’s been calling me a pussy for weeks.”
”You are one,” you grinned, gently cupping his cheek and closing the gap to kiss him again. In a second one of his hands was around your waist, and one at your nape.
And when he pulled back he pressed his lips gently to your forehead where a faint scar still stuck around from that time you almost died.
Dipper smiled. “Pretty good proposal, though, right? There’s like, a meteor shower.”
You shook your head, laughing, “It’s been hard to focus on that.”
He chuckled softly. “Yeah,” he said, his hands still holding you well. He thumbed gently over the spot where your hair begins on the back of your neck. Grinning, he wrapped you in a hug and laid back on the ground.
You fell back against the blanket, and curled into his side, looking up at the sky, and the streaks of white light scaling across it. His arm tightened around you, being enough of a pillow, and a soft one at that with his sweater around it.
And that’s where you’d stay. Your dumbass boyfriend was going to be your dumbass husband. Mabel would be your sister in law. Weird.
And you thought he was going to breakup with you. Maybe you were the dumbass, even if you’d never admit it. It really could be either of you. The ring on your finger banished any thought of either of you ever wanting to be anywhere else.
You could almost laugh at the question. Of course you’re getting married, and of course this is how it went. It was baked into the skeleton and foundation of your relationship. You never, never, could escape the bittersweet.
