why do you avoid him like the spanish flu? not even you knew fully. you contemplate about this very topic for weeks, never really getting a straight answer from yourself. from every instants that you two have crossed paths, he has been nothing but forthcoming with you. nothing but sunshines and rainbows. nothing but absolutely perfect.

you never even wanted to actually know who he was. you and your friends may have joked about him and his friend group a few times, but having noah around you 24/7 was never really on your bucket list. he kind of made it his own mission to make his existence your business.

it all started last semester, when you were walking down the hall. chem and statistic books in one arm, and the other quietly struggling to keep your book bag up. with the current cards not being 1000% in your favor, you didn’t really have time to look up at where exactly you were going. but noah did. trying to maneuver through the busy halls isn’t the easiest task with two shoulders filled and a 6’2, linebacker breaking down your neck. you didnt even see him walking beside you for the last two door frames you seemingly passed. all that was on your mind was to successfully get to the exit quick enough so you can get to your car, but satan had other plans.

“i can help you if you dont mind”

not paying the voice any real attention, you flash a struggling smile trying to use that as a quiet sign to leave you alone. one thing you didn’t bank on, was for noah to not really take no as a real answer. or in this case, an annoyed smile. testing his luck, the taller male fixed your book bag strap releasing a whole 2 pounds of weight off of your shoulder. with this new found feeling, you hesitantly stopped in your tracks and paid the stranger a small glance. looking back was noah, smiling widely like he just won the latto.

YANDERE!JOCK who finds a way to comfort you at all the right times. a random rumor about you started to spread at the speed of light. nobody would tell you where it started, or why they believe it but all you know is that it is messing up your senior year. you wanted to end your high school career better than when you came in, because lets face it, your freshman and sophomore years were ass. not being of bullying or teasing, you just weren’t ready or willing to see that you were in a different environment. things are different from two years ago, well they were supposed to be.

you don’t know how you started crying or when, but you were outside of your ecom class tears soaking your binders. you never allowed the words of others to get to you, always brushed them off. this time around it was different. you were more affected than you thought you would be at things like this. sleeping with a teacher? the same ecom teacher who you deducted points for not citing correctly? the same one who didn’t learn your name until two weeks ago? such a baseless and so easy to be unproven, so why do so many people believe it?

the only reason you were crying outside of your class is because two girls called you a slut to your face. out loud. with grins on their face, like your misery was something that warmed their skin. it was all so disgusting but you couldn’t do anything was cry. why now? why you? why the very last semester of high school? why?

“i heard about what’s going on,”

noah slightly nudges your leg with his foot, forcing your attention solely on him. you didn’t want to look up.

no, you actually wanted to tell him to go away. why was the most annoying, condescending, passive aggressive person in front of you for. the universe and gods must hate you.

“you know,”

he started with a hint of glee in his voice. was this all a joke to him? was he enjoying your tears? was your agony entertainment for him? this sick bastard. if you could, you would pull him by his hair and yank him to the floor. a knee to the stomach wouldn’t do anything to a linebacker right?

“its okay if you slept with him…we all have our low points.”

summary: Alex Blake's star student needs some tutoring, which turns rather spicy

a/n: dont be afraid to reach out to me if you have any prompt/drabble suggestions, but i’m not sure when i’ll get to them since im really busy with school

For the entire year you’ve been nothing but the most perfect student. You got full marks, was never late, always turned assignments in on time, and you were actually nice to anyone who sat around you in class.

So it came to you as a surprise, when in your second year, your linguistics professor, dr. Alex Blake, told you that you might need some tutoring, so you could get ahead of everyone else in class. You had her last year as well, and to say you had a crush on her was an mild understatement. So to spend more one-on-one time with her… it was an offer too good to say no to.

It quickly became your favourite part of the week. Every Friday evening at 6:50pm, just after your last class, walking towards her office so you’d be there 7:00pm, and then leave with pain in your heart at 8:30pm, while every bone in your body was shouting at you to chat with her for just a little longer. Your ears dying to hear her voice just one more time before going to bed, your eyes wanting to look at her once more, your hands wanting to roam over her body, discovering every curve and freckle on her delicate skin.

This Friday was no different. Almost speeding down the corridors so you could get to her office a little early, so that you two could catch up just a little more before starting the tutoring.

Arriving there at 6:55, which is a record, you knocked at her door, waiting for her approval of coming inside.

“It’s open!” Her slightly raspy voice sounded muffled from where you were standing. But even that could make your knees weak. The things she would whisper in almost the same tone, just a tat more sulkier, as her hands roamed over your body, her strap made hard thrusts into your-

“Are you coming inside or not?” A voice shook you out of your daydream, as Alex Blake stood there in her doorframe, looking down at you.

“Oh yeah, uhm of course,” You franticly speak out, putting your entire linguistics education to shame.

You followed her inside, your eyes focused on her ass, I mean her walls filled with interesting books you couldn’t wait to dive into (same goes for her ass, but that’s just a tat… inappropriate).

The rest of the lesson went smoothly, as you put your feelings on the side line, and fully focussed on the things she was explaining to you.

The last couple of minutes you get a little side tracked, now talking about your hobbies, as her hand brushed past hers as you were explaining how sharks can’t get cavities and some sharks can glow in the dark.

When it finally gets to the time where you should leave, she walks you to the door. As you turn your back towards her, you hear her say; “You think I didn’t notice you staring at my ass and boobs all semester?”

Your face turns a bright red, as you slowly turn around. “Fuck,” You mutter under your breath. She walks closer, and closer to you, her hands eventually landing on her hips.

She looked down at you, her eyes filled with something that almost looked like… lust?

“Professor,” You mutter out, your hands still awkwardly on your sides. “Tell me you don’t want this, baby,” She whispers, her hot breath brushing over your ear as she moves closer to you.

“Please, I want this,” You whisper out, your voice raspy from desperation.

“Good, then it’s Alex or mommy for you, pretty girl,”

Just as those words left her lips, she pushed them on yours, absolutely taking your breath away. It was soft, but she was also so dominating. It was everything you’ve ever dreamt of, and more. Way, and way more.

Alex pushed you backwards until she has you pinned to the door, her hands now roaming close to the bottom of your sweater. Your hands moving to tangle into her brown hair that was framing her face. “You sure you want to do this, baby?” The professor said as she pulled away.

You desperately nod your head, as your hands attempt to pull her face closer again.

Your needy hands pulled onto the rim of her shirt. “Off,” you murmured. All Alex just did was grant you a smile and the little nod that allowed you to pull the shirt over her head. Your eyes scanned over her body, desperate to remember absolutely everything about her. Every freckle, curve and ‘imperfection’ that was scattered over her skin.

“You done staring, baby?”

“Mm, you’re really pretty,” you whisper, as your hands wander over her exposed skin.

“Oh, well thank you baby.” She kissed the tip of your nose, making you let out a small giggle. “I think you’re really pretty as well.”

Her hands slide towards your ass, “Take them off, please,” You practically beg.

“Your wish is my command,”

life update ramble under the cut if yall gaf about that

making a bigger effort to limit my online time bc i recognize a lot of the time it really just makes me anxious and is rotting my brain and im starting to fall into terminally online loser behavior. i turned 26 last month and was just like "wtf am i doing man". its become an extremely unhealthy coping skill for me and i can FEEL the toll its taking on my braincells so. working on fixing that. i also have had my anons turned off for a while and just block people that annoy me extremely liberally bc like. its not that serious. its tumblr dot com. i wanna curate my space and have a good time on here not worry about dipshit morons that cant fucking read.

i reached a breaking point in being a doormat and receptacle for everyone else 24/7. with ptsd its really hard to set and hold even the smallest boundaries but im really... at a breaking point with how shitty it makes me feel all the time. small considerations are not too much to ask of people that supposedly care about me and if theyre going to be adverse to them i dont want it in my life. this has kind of just been a dynamic ive been cursed with my whole life, ive always felt, like i said, like a doormat for everyone else. i dont want to enable that anymore because too many people get acustom to being able to treat you like that and it just spirals out of control. *through gritted teeth, shaking uncontrollably like im about to combust" i am a person with value that deserves respect :)))))))))))))))))))))))))))). and yes i do recognize there is some responsibility on me to stand up for myself. im trying my best. but also holy fuck is it that hard for other people to just be mildly considerate of other people. im so worried about pleasing everyone else and what everyone else thinks im never pleasing myself or worrying about what i thnk of myself. its fuckin stupid and shitty.

as far as college goes, i got the highest scores out of my whole class on every final exam last semester and that was a really big win for me even if it seems a little silly. growing up being failed by the school system, being in the at risk youth program, not being accomodated for disability, and having a guidance counsellor in school tell me verbatim she wasnt expecting me to get very far in life and was just here until i wasnt going to be the schools problem anymore was really discouraging. hazard to say traumatizing even. getting back into school was really hard for me, it was scary and i wasnt sure id be able to do it but. im in my last semester now and looking at continuing studies after this. its still been scary and really stressful and i hate it 99% of the time and almost everyone i go to school with is insufferable and makes me wanna tear my hair out but. im still trucking.

ive reduced my drinking pretty significantly, its definitely still alcoholic levels and unhealthy and yeah i started smoking again but all im drinking is beer now, no more hard liquor, and thats been going alright. i feel less shitty than i did when i was blacking out every single night. im not ready to quit it yet, i know that i need this as a way to self medicate otherwise im gonna lose my fucking mind worse than usual. but im not doing heroin anymore so be grateful its just beer an cigarettes now.

yes the two abusive psychos that will not be named are still in my life yes i am still in physical danger 24/7 and one of them was responsible for giving me the concussion i got last month, yes it still makes me think about killing myself all the time yes it is soul crushing to do this all on my own with no support, im not gonna lie about that and do some fake positivity shit. that fucking sucks and these people have irreparably ruined my life. thats that. no silver lining there. i keep drinking because thats the only thing that will bring the anxiety down and make me functional in a lot of cases.

in the last 6 months or so ive felt a really big shift in my life, kind of like ive shed a large portion of who i used to be but im welcoming it, im trying to just see where im gonna end up, but it is a relief to be in a new place, with school to keep me busy, to be making an effort to get out more and do more things etc etc and self reflecting and all that dumb mental health shit, i feel like im finally closer to knowing and figuring out my actual self instead of the closet full of 100 personas i put on to please everyone else. im also doing my best to be mindful and try to leave small things in the past and do DBT & CBT and all that dumb fuckin therapy shit.

im still gonna be a hater i wanna make that clear. and i still hate my life. also wanna make that clear. i am still feeling shitty all the time i wanna make that clear. and im never going to turn into a toxic positivity person either wanna make that VERY FUCKING CLEAR, i am probably gonna be what ppl would call a pessimist until the day i die, im never gonna be a shiny happy person.

religious trauma is also on my mind a lot right now, more than usual, i realize how much it has stunted me mentally and day by day im trying to remove that shrapnel from my brain but holy fuck its hard dude. that shit sucks. if organized religion has zero haters im dead. and fuck the new pope. i wanna do tings for myself and make life as enjoyable as i can.

im also trying to deprogram all this dumb shit my parents have drilled into my head my whole life. my parents are fucking morons and huge assholes and i hate them, why retain what theyve taught me instead of branching out and educating myself and building myself, not being a clone of them? every time i do something that reminds me of them it makes me want to peel my skin off. not a good indicator. i dont want ideas from brainddead morons like them poising my mind anymore. its ok to do things you enjoy and be upset and be angry and be yourself and be "weird" (weird by their definition is anything that isnt rigid adherence to conservative catholicism)

i also stopped talking to my sister and dont intend to ever again honestly and i dont feel any way about it. shes been a nasty bully to me my whole life. were full grown now, shes 30, and still acting like were kids. all around a nasty unpleasant person to be around all the time. blood is not an obligation to me. weve never had a real relationship and im not gonna do it anymore. its a waste of my time and energy. not to mention shes an alt-right nutjob now which i double dont want to fucking be around. this whole family sucks and im not crazy for feeling that way, theyre crazy for acting like this and being held to this nuclear family mind cult where no matter what blood is blood and you have to suffer them forever. fuck. that.

this post is a mess and im overtired and i have an assignment due at midnight so im gonna check out. dare i say im looking forward to making more progress. do i dare. when you spend your whole life convinced you were gonna kill yourself its scary to start thinking and seeing that maybe that wont actually be how you end up. dont hold me to it though.

oooo what made you switch to classical studies?? history sounds fun

ok funny story but in hs i was in a half psych ward half boarding school (not the fancy kind of boarding school, the psych ward kind of boarding school), so i didnt do the standardized tests needed to be accepted into unis (u need a set of 7+ tests, plus another big test. i did 2/7 in school n completed another one later, n didnt do the big test at all) (they were too busy having us not kill ourselves ig). i wanted to get into classical studies from the start but couldnt have been accepted into any proper uni.

so i went to the open university which a. has no admission requirements. they literally take everyone. b. its mostly online n there r recordings of all the classes and c. u can take how many courses u want each semester n take semesters off n pace urself. (so it was mostly just me and 9248432 retired ppl) (like the joke is that it usually takes like 7 years to complete a degree in the open university). they dont have classical studies tho, so i took history.

i rly wanna learn mostly abt greece/rome, n learn more abt them than is possible in the individual courses the open uni has. also learn ancient greek/latin. but now i did a lot of courses in the open university n got accepted based on my grades in the uni and not my hs tests, which is rly cool!!

Ferris: surely we sit on the couches today

Cameron: I don’t know..

Cameron: Alright fine, be here soon though or I’ll change my mind

Ferris: sprinting as we speak!!!

Amy isn’t sure how they got so comfortable on the couches, or when the two of them got so comfortable with each other in the first place. In a surprising turn of events Amy is sat sideways on the couch with her back leaning against the arm rest and her legs in Jake’s lap, her laptop was perched precariously on her own lap while Jake used her legs as a phone stand – having abandoned studying for the day.

She had very quickly learned all of Jake’s quirks when it came to studying, even if they weren��t doing work for the same subject he worked better when someone else was around. He needed regular breaks to look on his phone which Amy didn’t usually need, but he also needed prompting to get back to it.

At this point in the afternoon his brain had decided it had had enough and wasn’t going to let Jake focus on anymore work, but when Amy told him she was going to stay in the library and continue studying he said he’d keep her company. They mostly sat in a comfortable silence, ambient noises of the college library providing background to their silence.

Every so often Jake would show her a meme he found funny, but otherwise didn’t bother her too much and Amy was almost disappointed he wasn’t distracting her as much as she’d like. So by the time it got close to 4pm Amy decided to follow Jake’s lead and finish up for the day, giving herself a break couldn’t hurt.

She closed her laptop and set it on the coffee table in front of the couch which currently had all their other books sitting on it. After packing up she sat and observed Jake for what felt like minutes but in reality was no more than 30 seconds, she noticed the way the corners of his lips quirked up when he read something funny and an intrusive thought told her how she would like to kiss him there.

Jake then noticed Amy had put her laptop away and looked up at her with a smile while she tried to hide how embarrassed she felt at being caught staring. He locked his phone but didn’t move to put it away yet, and Amy couldn’t yet bring herself to move her legs off his lap. So for a few moments they sat and looked at each other, and Amy’s heart lurched with longing.

She so desperately wanted to lean over and kiss him, to pull him closer and provide a warmth her jacket simply couldn’t. To hug him again without the feeling of needing to pull away, to laugh at bad movies and his worse jokes without the fear that it’s too much. She just wanted to be rid of the fear of rejection.

“You’re finished?” He asked just before the silence stretched on too long.

“Yeah, decided to take a break for tonight. Am I not allowed to do that?” She joked with a raised eyebrow.

Jake let out a small laugh in response.

“Of course you can, you’re a free woman” He held his hands up in a sign of surrender.

“Thanks, thought I was being interrogated for a moment there” She joked back, causing another laugh out of him – one which Amy joined in on.

“I know it’s not really dinner time but what would you say to a trip to Sal’s?” Jake asked once his giggles died down.

“Can’t say no to Sal’s, just gotta take my stuff back to my dorm first if that’s alright”

Finally, Amy moved her legs off of Jake’s lap and if she had been able to look at him when she did she might’ve noticed the disappointment flash across his face for a brief moment. She started gathering her books and laptop and packing them neatly into her bag.

“Yeah that’s fine, I’ll take my stuff back too” Jake responded while haphazardly shoving his books and notes into his backpack.

They both left the library and made their way back to their dorms, promising to meet back up in 20 minutes. Amy had 20 minutes to get changed and ready for what definitely wasn’t a date with Jake – they were just going to Sal’s, that’s not a date.

If it was a date he would’ve said it was a date, they’ve just continued to hang out after studying together. This is just what friends do, friends don’t ask each other on dates after studying together and then don’t clarify if it’s a date or not.

Amy was spiralling, hoping 20 minutes would come and go quickly so she could talk to Jake again and forget some of her anxieties about… Jake.

Did he just accidentally ask her on a date? How could he be such an idiot? But she didn’t ask if it was a date so it’s not a date, he doesn’t have to dress up super nice or anything because it’s just Sal’s. Why was he checking his outfit for the fifth time?

If it wasn’t a date, then why did he feel nervous? Too many questions and thoughts bouncing around in his head that it was quickly becoming overwhelming. Luckily for him, as he was considering changing his shirt for a third time his phone alarm went off telling him to leave his dorm.

He nearly ran to their meeting spot, not wanting Amy to be waiting on her own for even a few seconds and he ended up being successful. Two minutes after he got to the spot Amy joined him and they walked to Sal’s together.

This time Amy was rugged up in a large jacket and scarf, a handbag hanging off her shoulder instead of her backpack. She had let her hair out of the ponytail she’d had it up in earlier, now letting the loose brown curls fall to her shoulders.

She rambled on about a new topic she learned about in one of her classes that day and Jake decided he could listen to her speak forever, even if she was just reading the phone book. But especially when it was something she was passionate about, Amy let herself get lost in it all and Jake couldn’t help but to follow.

After the short walk they reached Sal’s, and it was only when they opened the door did Jake remember they had other friends he could’ve invited but pointedly didn’t. What his other friends didn’t know wouldn’t hurt them, surely they didn’t mind if he and Amy hung out alone – Rosa and Gina hung out alone often, so did he and Charles. It was fine.

The Night Boys

[4:45pm, Thursday]

Sidewinder: Hey! Did you wanna get dinner?

It was not fine.

Charles had text him as he and Amy were on their way through the diner to a booth at the back. He panicked for a few moments about what to do; be honest and say he was out with Amy or lie to his best friend about being on a not-date with Amy.

Jake knew exactly how Charles would react to hearing he and Amy were out together to dinner alone, and Jake absolutely did not want to be dealing with that today. Amy sat down and began reading through the menu that was already placed on the table, although Jake knew she would get the same thing she always gets.

The Night Boys

[4:47pm, Thursday]

Deathblade: cant tonight Deathblade: not feeling well

Sidewinder: No problem, feel better soon

Deathblade: thnx

Yes, he felt bad about it, but nothing was going to pull him away from spending time alone with Amy. He savoured any minute he could get and once he put his phone away and looked up at her from across the table most of his anxieties melted away.

“What are you gonna get?” She asked him, looking up from the menu in front of her.

“Probably my usual” He shrugged his shoulders, why change his order when his order was perfect. Simple, but perfect.

“Cool, I’m probably gonna get-“

“The basic breakfast special but with a hot chocolate instead of a milkshake”

He finished her sentence without looking up from the menu, only making eye contact when he’d finished speaking. Seeing that Amy had a mildly shocked expression on her face, mouth slightly open and eyebrows raised before she schooled her face to one of less surprise.

“That’s exactly what I’m gonna get..” She trailed off, still giving him a look he couldn’t quite read.

After being given 15 minutes to read over the menu, most of that time spent chatting about nothing in particular, a waiter came over to take their order. They ordered and were now just waiting for the food, making more idle conversation that would usually bore Jake but he was happy to make ‘chit-chat’ with Amy if it meant being around her.

“You know, its too early for dinner, I feel like a senior citizen” Jake joked, arms crossed on the table in front of him.

“It gives you an excuse for a midnight snack” Amy joked back, a small giggle escaping as she did.

“As if I need an excuse for a midnight snack” Jake waved his hand in a dismissive gesture, once again causing Amy to laugh.

As she laughs Jake thinks it’s the one thing he was put on this earth to do; sure he wants to be a detective but his life calling is making Amy Santiago smile.

Their food arrives and they take their time to eat, not worrying about studying or having anywhere to be. They sit and talk until the sun goes down, Jake tells Amy movies he’s been watching recently and Amy tells him all about the book she’s been reading in her spare time. Amy talks about her brothers when Jake asks about them and is filled with funny stories from her childhood, and Jake tells her about what he and Gina were like in high school.

They’ve ordered multiple drinks each and sat long enough for dinner to go down enough to order a dessert; more accurately, Jake ordered a huge dessert that he happily let Amy take bites from. The time has flown and Jake has never felt more content in his life, they’ve barely made physical contact since arriving at the diner but his skin feels as electrified as New Years Eve.

He never wants this feeling to go away.

Amy hadn’t even realised hours had gone by, but it was dark outside now and her and Jake were still in the diner talking. Making up new inside jokes and telling stories from their childhoods. There’s a warmth under Amy’s skin that she’s never felt before, a warmth not caused by a sweater or scarf but one that’s causing tingles from her toes to her fingertips.

She wants it to be like forever.

Unfortunately, it was dark, and she needed to get back to her dorm at some point. She knows her phone has been going off in her bag but has ignored it all evening in favour of talking to Jake, trying to make him laugh and smile to see the ways his eyes crinkle up when he does.

Amy is the one to burst the bubble they’ve put themselves into, worrying she’ll get lost in it and do something that makes Jake uncomfortable. When there’s a silence in the conversation she speaks up.

“I should probably get back to my dorm, it’s getting late” She tries to hide the disappointment in her voice.

“Yeah, me too”

When they go up to the register together to pay Jake covers the bill, he doesn’t give Amy a chance to argue until they’re out the door and walking back to campus.

“You didn’t have to pay” Amy says while wrapping her scarf around her neck snugly.

“I know I didn’t, but you’ve been helping me so much with studying that I owe you”

“You don’t owe me anything, Jake” She can feel her cheeks heating up even in the cold air.

“Just accept it Ames, nothing you can do now” He wraps an arm around her shoulders and squeezes before letting go again and it causes Amy to giggle.

She wants to feel embarrassed at how he makes her giggle, she’s far from being 15 years old giggling at anything her crush says.

“Okay okay, I cover next time though” She points a finger at him in warning.

“Of course” He responded in a tone and with a smirk that made Amy think he wasn’t going to keep his end of the bargain.

The walk is as easy as dinner was, and saying goodbye is difficult but she knows Jake will probably text her in under an hour about something on his mind anyway. She’s excited for it, she’s excited to see him again and a part of her hopes he’s excited to see her again too.

During her elevator ride she decides that she is going to ask him out, it’ll be a risk and she’s full of anxiety thinking of the worst outcomes but she can’t just sit around doing nothing. The doing nothing part of it all is killing her, now she has to know if this was all just in her head.

If he says no then Jake will be cool about it, she knows that, he’s good like that. He cares about other people like that, he won’t completely ignore her and make fun of her for it – well he might a little, but not in a bad way.

Amy is going to ask Jake on a honest-to-god date, with a reservation and high heels and a waiter that doesn’t smell of cigarettes. It’s all going to be fine.

He has decided that if he doesn’t get to kiss Amy soon he’ll explode.

More importantly, he’s decided if he doesn’t tell her how he feels about her soon then he’ll also explode. He’s sure that everyone can tell at this point, it’s hard hiding how much he really likes her. If their other friends have noticed they haven’t said anything – although Charles has been saying it since the day Jake and Amy met which back then was weird. Nowadays it makes Jake annoyed for a different reason, he can’t believe Charles was right.

As Jake moves around his dorm getting ready to relax for the rest of the evening he considers whether or not to ask her out. He thinks back to his conversation with Terry who said he’ll never know if he never asks.

Jake is just unsure he’d be able to handle it if she said no. Not completely sure his heart wouldn’t just fall out his butt onto the ground and he’ll never feel anything ever again. At that thought, he hears Gina’s voice saying he’s being dramatic which is saying something coming from her.

When his head hits the pillow that night he smiles to himself, decision having been made that he will ask her out when he next sees her. He’d even wear a tie for her.

no but he knows of some of them now!

2. Have you ever embarrassed yourself in front of your TC?

ALL THE TIME UGH but not really HAHA just an awkward bumbling rambling blushing mess 24/7 365 oh but there was one time when i was still working in the canteen at high school and i accidentally served him the wrong coffee LMAOOO that was so embarrassing ugh

3. What was your most memorable moment with your TC?

when i gave him the cupcakes for his birthday? if not, when he always uses me for examples or when he made me get up in front of the class to plan an extra lesson during the holidays because no one was listening to him and so i got to suit the timing to myself HAHAH

4. Have you ever thought of getting over your TC?

mango yeah, passion fruit i don't see the point in getting over him anytime soon HHAHAHA

married, haven't met his wife before but i've seen his youngest kid (he has three)

i have the perfect one:

"don't walk past me like a stranger," i say. and i laugh so he doesn't know that i'm begging, that i really mean /how am i supposed to live without you when i started living because of you/.

he's an interesting man. most only know him surface level, scary, good teacher, goofy classes, but underneath he is the biggest softie ever, he's sweet and thoughtful and he has so random lore and he's interesting in general

married with three kids

tell him he's drunk but maybe find a way to quietly confess too and go home and scream about it but hope he doesn't remember it

he always says that he has full confidence in me and today he said college was a time for me to spread my wings and he's just so encouraging towards me OH and on teacher's day he said that whatever i bake is always nice HEHE

the moment he walked in on the second lesson (cause first lesson i was doing orientation duty) i already knew history was going to be my favourite lesson because it was instantly goofy and interesting from the start

he always uses this emoji 😊 and every time he will text 'lol' in all small letters but he's never said it out before and he always eats the same thing from the same stall and will make it a point to talk to the drinks stall and the stall i worked at before going home

maybe when i gave him cupcakes for his birthday, but also every moment is my favourite moment with him because it's always unique in a way despite the circumstances being the same some times hehe

28. Imagine you graduated and you’re in a relationship with your TC. You told your parents about your relationship but they don’t support you. What would you do?

29. Do any of your friends/family know that you have a TC?

yeah my sister publicly teases me about passion fruit until my mother knows and my father and grandma knows to a certain extent and everyone knows i favour him but my junior does ship me a little bit in a sarcastic way

its 8:30, im sitting in the library before class, its nice. i feel like i can breathe. I much prefer this to standing in the cold wondering if the 7:30 province bus will ever come because what if i start walking to the perkins bus stop up the road and as soon as im far enough away the province bus comes, and then i stick my ground and watch the perkins bus come and go as i still stand there in the cold. I feel like that could be like, a metaphor or something.

I ended up going to bed sometime between 12 and 12:30, and got up at 6:30. I wanted to see if i could be ready in an hour and make the 7:30 bus, but it seems i need at least an hour and a half, even without showering (showered last night). I took the 8:20-ish bus. I didnt make/eat breakfast, but i brought a banana and a little cup of peanut butter to eat between classes if im hungry.

I took my adderall today and i feel it working,, slightly. I realized i didnt take it yesterday and that's probably why,, i only wanted to eat snacks and watch youtube and couldn't study. Hopefuly I'll be able to be more productive today as i have a lot of studying and assignments i need to get done.

I like to walk through the bookshelves and look at the books and sometimes pick one out to flip through and put it back (i put it back only if i know for sure where i picked it from!). I started reading A hologram for the king last week, but put it back, i got bored. This morning I picked up the marshmallow test and i think im gonna check it out. i haven't read any of it but its about self control so surely it will help me. Also i usually prefer nonfiction, specifically these kinds of psychology or anthropology, how the brain works, type books. I like those kinds of shows too. Like Vsauce, i LOVED sauce as a kid. and there was one on tv called Brain Games.

Its 8:43, i should probably check this book out in a few minutes and get to class. Aw I forgot to bring a notebook, last class we did a class participation activity (we will have 6 over the semester) and to turn them in we need a sheet of paper. I haven't carried a notebook to class in years?? Oh well, i dont think she'd give us class activity 2 classes in a row.

I didnt spend any time actually preparing for my class. again. Which was kinda the point of coming early. Though journaling is productive too, so I'll take it.

minor college update because its actually 1am rn but i downed caffeine at 9pm to do homework so whatever ANYWAYS

im working on finalizing my spring classes and. well. let me tell you its looking like SOMETHING.

History: There’s only 2 classes offered for the specific history class I wanna take but like that’ll be chill. Haven’t checked times or dates, but hey! it’ll be fine!

Literature: I kid you not, there are like 10 different professors teaching the same lit class I need. Probably because its a mandatory core class for EVERYONE. Just as long as its not this prof again. anyways i have my SELECTION of times and days

Calculus: The fun one! Because I really want to take this professor again, I’ll be moving to an asynchronous online course for this next class. if you dont know what that means, think something like Khan Academy, but there’s actually a deadline on your homework. Online posted lectures, no virtual meetings. perfect!

Physics: This is the ugly (but interesting) one. Because of my college’s core class requirements, I HAVE to take the second class in this level (there’s two 1000-level classes and two 2000-level classes. So I can’t take one 1000 and one 2000 despite the fact that their first classes have no prereqs—its both of one level). There’s just one—well, two—issues. The only classes offered right now for what I need are either:

A 4pm at a vaguely shadier campus (for context, there’s essentially 6-ish satellite campuses around the city specifically for People Like Me and also the Associate degree peeps. people getting Bachelors and Masters have to go to Downtown) which meant that on labs days id be there until 10pm. yeah no.

A 8:30am class on a different campus on Saturday, which means that not only are the lectures 2.5hrs (bc its one day, not two like M-W or Tu-Th) the labs are RIGHT after it. id be on this campus (which is 30mins from me WITHOUT rush hour, which is like 7-9am here) for SIX HOURS. ON A SATURDAY.

some people I know don’t have finalized schedules yet (ironically, the sixth child we recently adopted [by that i mean let stay with us but we’re really friendly so. accidental adoption.] actually works at Downtown bc Money and she doesn’t have her spring semester finalized) but also dude my physics is NOT looking good /silly

#zero thoughts #zerros free college years #btw im pjsk tiering in the spring. actually the week After My Break (still pissed about that lol)#hence why what my schedule turns out to be is so important #bc calc being online is huge for me bc that means i have one less class inperson ie lost time #but physics isnt looking pretty #lit and history im not worried about esp because im registering the day classes open #but. yeah.
