Desdemona Stormchild ~ Dwarf ~ Warlock of the Great Old One

Desdemona has lived a full, unadventurous life for almost 300 years, until one day, when, on her usual morning hike, her attention was caught by a peculiar dark spot, right in the middle of a clearing. She approached, cautiously, and observed a handful of pearl-like objects that seemed to exude a darkness. It was then that a cloud covered the sun and the darkness shot out, in the created shadow, for Desdemona’s shadow.

One touch and she was out like a light. She woke up several hours later, with the knowledge that she had dreamed, but with no recollection of particulars. The pearls now seemed inert and rather normal.

Desdemona shrugged off the event for a while, and went back to living her regular, uneventful life, only to find, over the next few days that she seemed to know quite a few things she had never known before. The little bit of magic she found she could now command was nothing to the vast store of information that she now seemed able to recall as if she had studied it for years.

An academic at heart, Desdemona soon decided that what she knew should be shared. But before it could be shared, it had to be rigorously proven. And for that, a little bit of adventure was required...

A dwarf/tiefling adopt, who now belongs to @dragonbackvoyager (and is named Killora!) I had the urge to try something a bit different, and dwarves are really not something I've touched much upon. I think the fact I've been really into Dwarf Fortress has also influenced this-

One of my D&D groups has a player who mentioned he may run an "oops all warlocks" game for us - he mentioned it just the one time and it's all the others needed to get excited. My husband kept asking me what I'd play and I had NO plans - because, well, it'd only been mentioned ONCE. But he asked again and I was like okay fine, I'll design ONE OF EACH PACT

With the party I’m playing with reaching level 10 (we’re actually level 11 already oops) I wanted to draw some updated looks for all of the party members so to start off the group we have Valmont and his familiar Athos! Son of a successful merchant and sailor of the high seas this business savvy half elf escaped one pact with an abyssal shark and has landed himself right into another with an ancient insatiable celestial…at least it’s better than the shark…right? 🌊⚜️🐲

It's been a hot minute, hope you're all doing well When I finally got all the characters done I couldn't not slap them on a page together to contextualize their heights at least haha

The good thing about not posting for a year is there's a bit of a backlog so I'll queue that up for you guys. It was an interesting year to say the least. Some stuff I can't show you in case my team sees it lol
