okay, but where's my steddie AU where steve wants to learn to play guitar to impress a girl he's infatuated with and he remembers that munson kid was always hanging up posters for his weird band at school, so he hikes out to eddie's usual dealing spot behind the track and asks (with far less groveling than he really should have) if eddie will teach him how to play, and obviously eddie says no because why would he want to help king steve, but of course, steve offers to pay him, $20 a week, and well, that's the kind of get-the-hell-out-of-this-shithole-town cash eddie really can't afford to refuse, so fine, he'll teach steve to play and they'll spend inordinate amounts of time together tucked away in eddie's room and they'll start to see that they have more in common than they thought and that they kind of had each other all wrong, and eddie will put his hand over steve's to help him get the placement for a tricky chord and it totally won't awaken anything in either of them?? where is it??

Steve was laying in bed and waiting for Eddie to come back and once he did, he came to his room and said ”Hey, sweetheart.”

It made Steve blush as he moved up to kiss Eddie, but Eddie walked past him instead and went to his guitar before blowing it a kiss.

Steve stared at the other, big brown eyes wide while he slowly dropped his arms from the hug he was so ready to give just a second ago.

When Eddie finally turned to him, he gave the other a smirk and walked closer to him.

”Hey, baby.” He purred while trying to wrap his arms around the other’s waist and give him a kiss, but Steve stopped him and turned his head with a pout.

”You greeted your guitar before me?”

Eddie looked dumbfounded and Steve could see the panic taking over inside other’s big eyes.

”Shit, sorry, it’s just a habit! I’m not really used to someone waiting for me in my room. Yet alone you—”

And while Eddie was rambling and giving all the excuses which honestly made sense, Steve still wanted to give the other a payback. Because though he knew it was a silly mistake, he wanted to act out a little.

Just to be a tease.

”Just, shut up, okay? I get it… your guitar is obviously more important than me, so…” Steve pouted more before turning around to walk away, Eddie close to his tail.

He kept apologizing, more like begging for Steve’s forgiveness while Steve still acted pissed to tease the other.

”Steve, please. C’mon, you know I didn’t mean it. Obviously you’re way more important than some… than some, shit, guitar.”

Steve suddenly halted, making Eddie bump into his back.

He slowly turned around, arms wrapped in front of his chest and he honestly kind of felt bad how the other looked at him, but he didn’t wanna stop just yet.

”Okay. You’re forgiven.”

”Thank you, baby—”

”But!” Steve cut him off, making Eddie shut his mouth in confusion.

”, No playing for a day.” Steve demanded.

He knows it's maybe a bit too far to demand such a silly thing, because honestly he loves seeing Eddie play. It gets him a little too horny than he thought it would make him.

But he wants to be a tease back. Just this once.

Eddie looked defeated, but took a deep breath before saying ”Fine.”

It almost made Steve laugh, but he kept his pout on his face as best as he could before stepping closer to Eddie, making the older boy wrap his arms around his waist.

The fake pout finally fell from Steve’s face and he leaned in to kiss Eddie, who immediately kissed him back.

They made out for a while, but then Steve started giggling and Eddie broke the kiss.

”What?”

”I’m sorry, but shit, man…” Steve laughed a little louder while wrapping his arms around Eddie’s shoulder.

”I can’t believe you actually greeted your guitar before me. Like, s-shit.” Steve said ”I was teasing you, but seriously—”

Eddie's eyes grew wide and he glared at Steve who just kept giggling in his arms.

Steve played with him? He wasn’t actually hurt?

Eddie wanted to bite back, say that the other almost made him shit his pants, but the way Steve laughed, so sweetly while looking so beautiful, he just couldn’t stop and ruin that.

So, he hugged him tighter, giving Steve’s waist a mean pinch before yelling ”You motherfucker!” and starting to laugh with him.
