why complain ab people donating to ao3 like theyre not also donating to other things. are you aware some people have more than 10 dollars to spend donating to multiple things? do you think people donate to a single thing and theyre like welp thats my donation for the year cant do anymore sorry. typically the people who even have enough money in the first place to comfortably spend it on even a single donation, are already donating to Other things as well.

very weird to see so many people saying there was (is???) an ideological war on their dashboards re: tumblr checkmarks. literally nobody i follow said anything except "these are good and fun" with occasional references to some mysterious shadow discourse tearing the website asunder. like i haven't seen a single bitchy detractor or guilt-tripping post it's been great. why are you guys following annoying people.....

Gonna be honest but it really bothers me how some of you guys on here act like it's a "moral failing" or whatever that ao3, a site with millions of users, gets millions in donations, and not peoples donation posts getting the money.

#i dont like ao3 and there is MASSIVE issues with the site. even the dontation aspect because they aren't clear what they do with the money #no rbing because some of you are really annoying #like i promise you not everyone who donates to ao3 is evil. theyre just stupid to the fact theyre getting scammed.
