- probably a pretty normal/average drive. he didn’t think much about sex before you so going without it isn’t a problem for him at all. i don’t think he’d be like horny 24/7 around you, most of the time he’s just happy to be around you

Hi i want to talk about my all time favorite camera 📸

pls ignore all my grammar mistakes, i’m not professional reviewer 😂 i just wanna talk about this camera.

This is the Sony RX1Rii, this is the third and “most recent” version of this camera. i put “most recent” in quotes because this camera is almost 10 years old. don’t like the old age fool you because this camera can keep up with the newest cameras in its niche.

This little point and shoot sports a 42mp full frame sensor. YES, F U L L F R A M E!! This tiny camera is actually smaller than all the x100 series (minus the lens on it). The camera has an incredibly sharp Zeiss Sonnar 35mm f2 glued to. This camera has 399 af points, with eye AF. The camera is incredibly fast and accurate!! the camera is pretty much a tiny packaged Sony A7Rii!

One of my favorite features of this camera is the pop-up EVF! This is a feature that was added to only this version of the camera and it’s a feature that i wish sony continued to incorporate into some of their other smaller cameras like the A7c or a6k series!

The camera does shoot video up to 1080 120fps, but does not have picture profiles such has S-log or HLG. This was a camera made strictly for photos, which is probably for the best because the battery life on this camera is terrible, any kind of prolong video shooting would absolutely burn through these batteries in minutes.

That brings me to my next point, my cons. There’s not many but i figured i’d point them out anyways for those who are interested in this camera. these aren’t make it or break it cons, these are just issues that hinder it from being the greatest camera ever released (IMO)

1) battery life, i believe it’s rated for like 220 shots. Ive definitely gotten it to last twice than that. That tiny body processing all that data on some of the tiniest batteries makes sense why it’s so bad. Luckily batteries are cheap and like i said they’re tiny, so they’re pretty easy to carry around!

2) no picture profiles in video. i know i touched on it briefly up above and this camera is mainly a photo camera AAAAAND hybrid cameras were just beginning to grow in popularity around the time this camera came out but it would’ve been amazing to have s-log in this camera for little snippets here and there. i know at the time IG and other photo sharing apps were mainly photo sharing apps, and a camera that was built strictly for photo has no business having usable picture profiles in video.

3) no crop mode in RAW. this one is weird to me because i know the A7Rii has an APS-C mode where you can shoot RAW photos with an inbody crop and there’s times that i’d love to shoot something at 50mm (35mm + sony’s 1.5x aps-c crop). there is a digital zoom option but that’s for jpg only.

4) PRICE!!!! why the fuck is this camera still being sold for $3200??!! this is a 10 year old camera with outdated tech. i bought mine used for $1900 (which is about the price of the fuji x100V at the time of purchase) and i still think that’s a little too much.

that’s really about it aside from minor complaints of not having tele/ wide converters. i’m also sure all of those cons stem from the small battery. I’d love to see all of these corrected in a Mk3 one day, but as of a couple weeks ago sony just discontinued the Rx1rii’s production. I’m being a little hopeful but maybe that means we’re getting a successor, i doubt it but a boy can dream.

I don’t really do reviews or anything but this camera has had my heart for the past 9 months so i had to show it off/ talk about it. this to me in the perfect everyday camera. it never leaves my side and comes with me to any and every trip! Im always blown away by the photos i create with this little camera and i know whenever a mk3 comes out im going to hop on the chance to buy on immediately!

Video game console and case design

Today's hyperfixation is on the PLAYSTATION 5. Because I want one, but I really shouldn't buy one, so I am just looking up everything to do with games consoles and burning my brain out.

I used to be a proper xbox player, until I got my PC, then I never really touched by xbox again. I got a PS4 to play Persona 5 and since then it's been a blu ray player for my Adventure Time boxset, not much else. But the current gen - PS5, Series X - is arguably more powerful than my gaming PC, and I still have a lot of friends stuck on PS5, so I am considering investing in a unit.

Anyway is it me or did they really shit the bed with design in this generation?

Look at these chunky fuckers! They do not fit smoothly under your television at all. There is no detail or decoration breaking up their unnecessarily large faces, which makes them look bland and ugly. They look like they're made of cheap plastic, with the two controllers being the highest quality thing about them. I can attest the xbox controller is unbeatable, but playstation really made their shot this generation. A shame I can never get used to the dualshock joystick positioning.

The Series S and the PS5 Slim are almost NO improvement on the base designs.

For some reason they made the Series S look like a speaker???

The new PS5 slim FINALLY has a line across that massive faceplate, but the half matte half glossed finish is not doing it any favours. I think it would've looked much better if, for example, the matte and gloss plates were different colours. Like black and white! It also has an even MORE out of place disc drive, which I think is part of Sony's agenda to go digital only, and the two tiny "feet" for its horizontal positioning are pathetic! Personally I like this more than the original but not significantly, disappointing since I was really looking forward to it.

I want you to compare these nasties to the previous generation - the PS4 and the XBOX One.

....Now, what's hilarious about this image is the consoles look ALMOST IDENTICAL from this angle. And, I guess, that would be why Sony and Microsoft decided to make such a departure with the space heater PS5 and the fridge Series X.

But they both look very premium and advanced, and they fit very nicely in your living room.

The companies tried to look a bit more distinguished in their followup versions in the previous gen too. The white PS4 Pro looks a lot closer to PS5 with its quirkiness, but without the atrocious shiny plastic. Sony tended to add or remove a layer whenever they altered the PS4, I wonder what they would look like all stacked on top of each other.

It's not just the games console designs that suffer - Look at the game cases! I know that the companies want to incentivise you to go digital, but Xbox Series X cases are just awful.

So if you're confused - You should be!!! Microsoft have two kinds of case for the Series X. One of them is the EXACT SAME CASE as Xbox One, but with Series X printed on the front. The second newer version foregoes the sexy Xbox logo entirely and just has Xbox Series X printed in some default font. Awful awful awful.

Playstation is doing better, but barely.

They are reusing PS4 cases with a different print on them. It doesn't look as horrible as Xbox's, and it at least has a different colour on the logo, but damn, the jump between PS3/360 and PS4/One was really impressive, and now they've stopped bothering because they want everyone to go digital. If your game cases look like shit, why bother with physical?

I want to contrast with physical media kings Nintendo, who did an outstanding job in 2017 with designing the case for the Nintendo Switch.

These bad boys are mine. They're super thin, easy to stack, decent quality, and F U N. The red colour pallette makes them pop out. You can see one from across the store and go, "damn, that's a Nintendo Switch game".

I just want a thousand of them.

I would say a disadvantage, especially compared to the Gamecube games next to them, and even compared to 3ds, is that you can't tell what game you're looking at without going right up to them. These cases are TOO uniform, and really tiny, so i have to triple check I am picking up Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and not Tony Hawk Pro Skater. Meanwhile you can tell exactly what Gamecube games I have by colour pallette alone. Like, you can instantly tell that's Windwaker.

The switch in general is a very fun looking games console, much nicer looking than its predecessor the Wii U, though I'm not sure how I feel about the white of the OLED. But every time I see a Switch Lite in stores, even though I know it's worse than my Switch, I want to buy one. It just looks so FUUUUUN.

And finally a special mention to the 3DS and its games case. The console itself was pretty stylish, if... rudimentary for its release period, but the games cases are high quality and almost make me want to have 3ds games just so I can have the cases.

sure! umm this is gonna be messy sorry if anythings incoherent. ill walk u thru this segment of the pkradi hollow fight bc theres a lotta layers. heres the shot for reference

aaand heres a breakdown of the layers (called tracks in sony vegas but im just gonna keep calling them layers) from top to bottom

heres the foreground! where i wanna place shit that goes in front of the characters and background

heres where the characters will be placed! sandwiched between the foreground and background, they get more frames (as shown by the smaller segmented images on the timeline) opposed to set pieces which is usually just 1 image, which means we gotta approach tweening w the characters differently since there are a lot more images! ill explain that after this initial breakdown

and heeeres all the background shenanigans. not much to add here. those sure are background frames

RIGHT now to the tweening. when tweening 1 image/frame whateva you're gonna wanna use pan/crop (located on the image, that lil box with a crop around it icon), use this for stuff that only really needs 1 image, like a background. because its easier. like you could use track motion for everything i guess but pan/crops nice and easy and doesnt give me a headache she treats me nice and good

but uh yea so youll start with a little keyframe at the beginning, drag the pan/crop timeline to the end and click the little + sign to create a keyframe! then from there move the pan/crop box (the one with an F on it lmao) around and kablammo. Movement. usually with backgrounds its just a simple panning to the left or right, like how i did it for this shot! but you can do lots more like zoom and angle it etc

aand when you wanna tween across multiple images in a layer/track you're gonna head on over to your layer/track and hit that funny little track motion button aand youll be greeted with a pan/crop lookin thing except its like. for the whole layer/track instead. so the timeline is waaay bigger since it covers the whole thing. but umm yes same principle as pan/crop basically, except youll now need to insert "hold" keyframes right after your final keyframe, copy and paste a keyframe with all the positions defaulted (im gonna assume youre using 1920 x 1080 since its the standard)

like so and then right click a grey keyframe and choose "hold". this stops everything from fucking up and flying between each keyframe basically LMAOO the Hold is it waiting for your next keyframe that is Not a hold. if that makes sense. anyways yea only worry about that for track motion JUST because it works with the entire track/layer, with pan/crop you can ignore this

どうも、こんにちは。5月5日「こどもの日」は、阪本池に行ってきました。阪本池は、「西日本へらぶな釣り場情報」や「へら鮒天国」に掲載されてなく、ホームページも残っているが更新されてなく謎の釣り場ｗ。Fさん経由でFさん所属の釣りクラブのメンバーが行った話を聞いた程度しか情報がなかったです。今シーズンは、西池、茨木新池、隠れ谷池、こしが池でボウズを喰らっているので、もうこれ以上…ｗ。なので釣行を先延ばししていたのですが、5月に入って晴れると暑いので、僕としてはヘラ釣りもシーズンオフが近いし、いつ行く？今でしょ！って感じで行ってきましたｗ。これで、京阪奈の床釣り専用池またはウドン専用池は全て釣行したことになります。

2023年5月、阪本池（枚方市）PENTAX Optio W60

カーナビはカロッツェリアなのですが、釣天狗池に続き阪本池もピンポイント誘導は無理。まさかカーナビがスマホのナビアプリに負けるとは…釣池ってマイナーなんですかね？寺口釣池、隠れ谷池、釣天狗池、阪本池とカーナビが全敗ですｗ。Googleマップの経路案内のお世話になったのですが、Googleさんの指示通りに右折…と思ったところ、阪本池の駐車場に入れない。why？池も駐車場も見えているのに。狭い路地でUターンをして道路に戻ってみると、阪本池の駐車場の入り口はこんな感じでしたｗ。郊外の道路沿いによくある駐車場共用の商業施設の中に阪本池はあって、僕は手前の路地に入ってたみたいです。

ふう、到着。所要時間は約1時間です。阪奈園HC、FC竹之内、茨木新池、水藻FCが、自宅から大体1時間なので、阪本池もそう遠くはないんかな？左側の青い建物が阪本池の事務所で、手前に柵があるので左右から柵の中を通って事務所に入ります。管理人は老婦人で、1日料金は2300円でした。自動販売機は無いが、飲料は事務所で売ってます。缶コーヒーは120円。温かい缶コーヒーも置いてました。夏は知らんけどｗ。

2023年5月、阪本池（枚方市）iPhone11

トップ写真に戻りますが、あれは南側から事務所を撮影したものです。到着した時、僕は早出組だったらしく、空いていたのですが、常連さんが中央桟橋の東向きに座ったり予約を入れたりしてたので、足場もコンクリートで良いし、僕も中央桟橋東向きに座りました。どこの池でも釣れるヘチの釣り座は先約あり。実は、ネットで調べた情報では、トイレ前（東陸桟橋北詰）と長竿遊び場（南陸桟橋西詰）が好ポイントらしかったのですが、ネット情報は正しかったと後で知ることにｗ。阪本池の竿規定は7尺以上波除けパイプを超えない長さまで。トイレ前が7尺〜14尺まで、長竿遊び場が11尺〜23尺だそうで、中央桟橋は12尺までかな？でも、10尺を振った感じだと、12尺で振り切りは波除けパイプに当たるので振り込みになるかと。中央桟橋東向きは振り切りだと11尺までかな。最初は勝手が分からないので、10尺の芸舟でスタートしました。

シズ合わせめんどくさいｗ。浮子は天狗池の仕掛けそのまま舟水の「底釣り」です。冬の床釣りのイメージがまだ残っているのですが、浮子が馴染んでから誘いを入れて揺すっているうちにまぶし粉が剥がれてトップが徐々に返ってくると思っているんですが、浮子が馴染んでからソッコーでエサ落ち目盛まで返ってきますね〜。なんかカンが狂うなあ。なので、エサ無し鉤だけでどれだけトップが馴染むか再確認したり、エサ落ち目盛まで返ってから、エサがついているかどうかソーッと竿を上げて確認してみたり…ほとんどの場合、エサがなくなっていることを考えると、ジャミの猛攻を受けているのかなあ。結論から言うと、中央桟橋東向きは渋かったのですが、隣の常連さんに言わせると今日はジャミが静かなんだそうです。そういえば、釣天狗池もジャミが酷いと聞いていたが、ジャミは静かだったなあ。ヘラブナが水面に湧くのに困りましたがｗ。そうそう、朝、釣り座を決める時に、見かけは強面の常連さんに声を掛けて入れていただいたのですが、KWさんという方で、とても親切にしていただきました。阪本池や岩田池、釣天狗池のことを色々教えてくださったのですが、中央桟橋東向きが一番深いそうです。水深は西池とか中セ池ぐらいあるかな？

ｷﾀ━━━━━━(ﾟ∀ﾟ)━━━━━━ !!!!!ってスレじゃんorz。実はこれ2枚目です。1枚目も2枚目もスレ。サワリは単発で続かないが、スレてくるってことはヘラブナはそこにいるんだろうなあ。隣のKWさんは、お正月に岩田池をご一緒した某釣りクラブのMさんみたいに「ビシッ」とした鋭いアワセで上手そうだが、KWさんも1枚しか釣れていないそうです。っていうか、あのショートストロークでビシッとアワセるのカッコいい（羨望）。僕みたいにアワセるたびに仕掛けが宙を舞わないし。中調子の竹竿じゃ穂先が跳ねるから無理なんかな。

あ゛ぁ゛〜、もう！やっと釣れたと思ったらスレ。また出家させられるんですかｗ。早く破戒して還俗したいのだが。途中経過は、フック0、スレ4で4連続スレ。こんなん初めて。僕はどんくさい代わりにハッキリとした魚信を取る方なので、あまりスレないんだけどな。っていうか、全然口を使ってくれませんね。

浮子のトップの返りがやたら早いし、スレばかりだし、浮子の浅馴染みが気になってしゃーないので、夢（伊吹）の「両うどん・パイプ」の7号に替えてみました。全長22cmで岩田池の「浮子は23cmまで」の浮子規定に抵触しないよう買った浮子です。税込5500円。ビンボーなんですが、6号、7号の2本買ってしまいました。

浮子を替えても効果なし。単発だが、サワリはあるのでそのうちそのうちと集中していたのですっかり忘れていたが、隣のKWさんが「7尺に替えるか」と言ったので、尺数変更してみようかと。最近、竹竿は持ってるのをロッドケースに入れっぱなしじゃなくてマメに入れ替えているのですが、今日の7尺は孤舟です。名竿師の7尺は、こしが池用で家に置いてきました。

7尺に替えて2投目だったかな。阪奈園でも7尺でかろうじてボウズを逃れたことがあったし、こしが池も7尺はよく釣れるし、桟橋に近い方が良いんかな〜とか考えていたら、浮子が「ツン」って綺麗に一節入った。星霜を感じさせる旧ベラだったけどｗ、ボウズ脱出〜！！！

やっと1枚釣れて愁眉を開いたけど、後が続かず…。阪本池は桟橋が高いというか、水面が低いというか、短竿では竿掛の角度がキツく、孤舟は握りも細くて万力をスルッと抜けるのでゴムで引っ掛けているだけなので、なんか使いにくいです。7尺で釣れるんなら良いけど、1枚釣れただけだったので、最近出番の多い池坊11尺に変更。

浮子は11尺の仕掛けでシズ合わせしてある霧舟の1番です。岩田池用に全長23cm未満の浮子を見つけると買っていた時期があったのですが、これも全長21cmで岩田池用に買った浮子です。1番だけ9節目が狭いんだけどｗなんでだろう？

ところで、釣れないまま昼食の時間を迎えることになったのですが、隣のKWさんが食事に行く時に、「釣りたかったら、反対向いて（西向き）11尺振ったら釣れますわ」と声を掛けてくださいました。だが、しかし…悪い癖でそのままダラダラ東向きで釣ってました。っていうか、西向きが釣れるんなら、なぜ常連さん達は皆さん東向きに固まって釣ってはんの？

西向きですｗ。14時の途中経過は、フック1枚、スレ4枚。もう無理。なのでKWさんに声を掛けて反対側（西向き）に釣り座を変更しました。

西向きになったので太陽も正面近く。太陽ギラギラ。KWさんのお勧めは11尺なのですが、畑の壁が近いので11尺だと振り切りで壁に当たりそう…なので、最近使ってない9尺を出してみました。凡舟の玉藻です。

9尺の仕掛けは2つ有って、細いウキ止めゴムの仕掛けが有ったはず。希粋の旧モデルを使います。これ、足が細くて普通のゴムだとSサイズでもユルユルなんですよね。

釣り台の向きを変えて、荷物を移動させて、11尺を仕舞って、9尺を用意して釣り始めたら、通りがかった別の常連さんが、「12尺で壁際を狙ったら釣れるよ」と声を掛けてくださいました…やっぱ9尺ダメなの？まだ1〜2投しかしてないのに。再度11尺に変更。11尺に変更して再開したのが14時38分ぐらいで、約40分のタイムロスｗ。エサ落ち目盛見るのに鉤を外したり、外した鉤がどっかいったり、モタモタしてたら40分ぐらいかかったｗ。心配した間合いは、11尺の振り切りで壁際スレスレにエサを打てます。測ったように気持ち良い位スレスレｗ。12尺だと振り込みで落とす感じですね。打ち始めて2投目で浮子が「ツン」て綺麗に入りました。なんか良く引く。40cmあるかな〜と計ってみましたが、シートの折り目を考慮すると38cmぐらいですかね。KWさんに「釣れました〜」とお礼を言うと、「おっちゃん、見かけは怖いけど嘘はつけへんよ」とおっしゃってましたｗ。ありがとうございます。

西向きは、大袈裟に言うと、これまでの不漁が嘘みたいにバンバン釣れるｗ。小一時間で5枚釣れました。「つ抜け」いけるかな〜とチラリと思いましたが、通算6枚目で打ち止めになって、営業終了の16時を迎えました。

ところで、KWさんに西向きで釣らないんですか？と尋ねると、「西向きは浅いからな〜、畑を見ながら釣るのが嫌やねん」とのこと。常連さんが東向きに固まって釣りをしているのは、東向きが釣れるからではなくて、単に釣りたい場所で釣っているだけでした。衝撃の事実ｗ。朝から西向きで釣っている常連さんが1人いて、声を掛けてくれたんですが、「そっち（東向き）は難しいから」とおっしゃってました。でも、15時ぐらいまでボウズだった人も1枚釣ってはったし、並んで竿を出して皆さん釣っているのはさすがですね。あと、ネットでポイントとして紹介されていたトイレ前（東陸桟橋北詰）は、常連さんが後から後からやってきて隙間なく座ってましたが、コンスタントに釣れてボウズはいないようでした。

ということで、5月5日はヘラブナ6枚でした。前日の釣天狗池は、結果的には8枚釣れましたが、ヘラブナが水面に湧いてしまい、釣りにならなかった印象で途中退屈しましたが、阪本池は釣れない時間も、ヘラブナは上ずらず、ジャミは騒がず、単発だがサワリはあったのでなんか充実してましたｗ。

Como os jogos podem nos ajudar a ter um futuro melhor

Se você pensar em uma atividade que crianças e jovens amam, certamente vai pensar em jogos eletrônicos. Recentemente, uma pesquisa da USP mostrou que “mais de 85% dos adolescentes brasileiros jogam videogame ou computador. Os jovens dedicam 8 horas ou mais por dia jogando videogame.

Segundo o site Covil Dos Jogos, alguns dos  temas mais comuns entre os jogos são: jogos de época medieval, tema espacial ou ficção científica, entre outros.

Muitas vezes, os temas destes jogos passam a ser discutidos pelos jovens em suas vidas. Então, que tal se os temas dos jogos ajudassem a inserir pautas importantes para o mundo?

É de extrema necessidade  que as escolas e universidades incorporem a temática dos jogos eletrônicos relacionados à sustentabilidade em seus currículos, pois isso contribuirá significativamente para uma formação intelectual mais consciente e responsável em relação ao meio ambiente.

Jogos recompensam para plantar árvores

Os jogos sustentáveis desempenham um papel crucial ao motivar os jogadores a adotar comportamentos conscientes em relação ao meio ambiente, como o uso de transporte público e a prática da reciclagem. Um exemplo notável são os jogos que inspiram os jogadores a se envolverem no plantio e na preservação ambiental.

De acordo com o site Rabisco da História, "alguns jogos incentivam os jogadores a plantar árvores virtuais ou a coletar lixo virtual em troca de recompensas no jogo. Jogos de realidade virtual e aumentada também podem ser utilizados para simular situações ambientais e conscientizar as pessoas sobre a importância da preservação do meio ambiente".

Jogos faturam muito, mas investem pouco em questões socioambientais

Os jogos faturam muito, mas o tema da sustentabilidade não avançou tanto neste meio. Entre 2020 e 2021, o mercado de games e seu ecossistema cresceu 12% no mundo todo, movimentando mais de U$126 bilhões, segundo dados da Nielsen Games. Além dessa expansão, a mesma pesquisa mostra que o lucro também foi 14% maior no período.

Apesar dos grandes investimentos na indústria de jogos, é notório que a maioria deles ainda não aborda a temática da sustentabilidade. As empresas frequentemente justificam essa ausência alegando a necessidade de maior colaboração do público e recursos financeiros, enquanto consideram outras temáticas como mais atrativas para os consumidores.

De acordo com o EcoDebate, "dentro de área e desenvolvimento de jogos pouco se discute sobre a questão da sustentabilidade, principalmente devido ao fato de que o desenvolvimento tecnológico geralmente está atrelado ao retrocesso sustentável e ambiental".

Jogos Sustentáveis: Construindo Perspectivas Positivas para o Futuro

Apesar das inúmeras dificuldades apresentadas em relação à inserção de jogos eletrônicos sustentáveis  para entrar liderando o mercado, ainda assim vem crescendo um pouco mais a consciência por parte de algumas empresas. O site Rabisco da Historia apurou que “algumas empresas de games estão se destacando por suas ações ambientais. A Sony, por exemplo, tem um programa de reciclagem de consoles e acessórios antigos e utiliza fontes renováveis de energia em seus data centers. A Microsoft também está investindo em tecnologias mais verdes e promovendo a reciclagem de seus produtos”.

Uma iniciativa significativa está sendo implementada na rede municipal de ensino de Recife, direcionada a crianças e adolescentes. A Secretaria de Meio Ambiente está desenvolvendo jogos digitais que exploram cuidados com a natureza, gestão de resíduos urbanos, preservação da biodiversidade e sustentabilidade.

Ranking gaming generations

Yes I stole this idea from This Is.

TW: Your favorite generation may be F tier. This may make you rage. If you think you can't handle is here's your out. I do not want to see pissed off replies here. I have RSD dammit.

First generation: C tier I know almost nothing about this generation. All I know is that it was the founding generation of gaming. And I know that BECAUSE IT’S THE FIRST GENERATION. So, I’m gonna place it in C purely cause I can’t figure out how much the pros of being a revolution outweighs the limitations games has at the time

Second generation: F tier This is unfair as I also know very little about this one too. And all I have to go by is the god damn controller of the Atari which for some reason locks up and becomes unmovable whenever someone with a name that begins with R touches it. Or something. Can’t rate games if I can’t play them. Something something cartridges yeah whatever stupid controller.

Third generation: B tier This is the one with the NES if you didn’t know. And also, if you didn't know… That was kinda a big deal. I’m not terribly fond of this generation but I will admit if it weren’t for this generation… I may not even be aware of what’s a huge part of my life today.

Fourth generation: C tier I initially had this in D tier, but I brought it up one ranking once I remembered that this was the Game Boy’s debut. I’ve always loved handheld gaming more than TV gaming. I could probably actually get by with a Switch lite. But I can’t bring it too much higher cause what else is there to talk about during this generation outside of the Genesis / Mega Drive?

Fifth generation: A tier Ah, here’s where I come in. The Nintendo 64, PS1 and Sega Saturn. Tho I know next to nothing about the Sega Saturn, there’s no denying that the other two were out there making history. I may have born into this generation but honestly. I wouldn’t have minded being just a bit older to allow me to immerse myself in this generation more. Sixth generation: S tier As you’ve noticed I’m really letting nostalgia doing the talking here. Like I’m not basing these off of any concrete evidence, I just rank the ones I know well higher. Typical. Anyway, this is the first of the 2 oddballs of gaming generations. And you all know how much I love weird. I had loads of fun with not only the Gamecube and GBA, but also the PS2 and its array of movement games. I forget what the camera accessory that came with it was called but that was awesome. And it definitely paved the way for…

Seventh generation: S tier The Wii, the Kinect, and that silly Wii remote knockoff by Sony. Regardless, this was truly the movement generation. Definitely the second of the 2 generational oddballs. But gosh darn did I have fun with it. I can name so many games that I played religiously on the Wii. But let’s not forget the DS, which was also a huuuuuge part of my life. So much so that I’ve got my eye on some second hand DS games even today. That’s how you know you’ve done a generation right.

Eighth generation: D tier This is the one with the Wii U, Switch, PS4 and Xbox One. Microsoft in typical Microsoft fashion was making some dumb decisions which led to the ridicule of the Xbox One. But what Sony and Nintendo wasn’t any better. The PS4, although undeniably the most popular of the 3… Was kinda underwhelming, Nintendo was in trouble after the release of the Wii U so hurried to make the Wii U U (Aka Switch) and just generally things were slowing down. Technology was no longer improving at the same rate as before so there was not much going on here. Kinda a dark era of gaming now I think about it. This is also around the time Nintendo started to get… Unpleasant. Ninth generation: A tier. I hate this generation so much. It’s the same AAA games over and over again. Companies buying other companies instead of making games, Nintendo had gone full Nintendo. Gender politics wars everywhere you looked. Games broken upon release. Price increase to 70. FPS being the pinnacle of innovation. People stopped caring and started raging. It’s no longer about having fun. It’s a mess. But Steam Deck so that makes it A tier.
