Summary:

Scar can’t risk giving out trust easily, but he can’t help but hand it over to Grian completely. It’s a weakness, but one he’s fully accepted. He’s signed away his fate now, whatever that means, and now can only wait for that fate to arrive.

Grian will either be his savior or his destruction.

Summary:

Grian is sitting in one of the chairs, watching Scar’s movements. He cleans off the lantern to the best of his ability, before pulling out his matchbox. He lights one and holds it over the wick, which lights after a few seconds.

Scar grins, stepping back and shaking off the match. He lets the flashlight turn off as the lantern lights up the room. It’s not bright, but it works well enough.

Scar glances over at Grian as he hums, his eyes focused on the flame. The light reflects in his dark eyes, the sight mesmerizing. Scar can’t help but watch as the flame flickers in his gaze. Scar is abruptly pulled from his daze when Grian turns to look at him.

Scar clears his throat, caught off guard, “It would probably be best to try and sleep through this.”

Ollie is there solely because I think its hilarious that well into their 40s Bruce does something that makes Ollie realize that he KNOWS WHO BATMAN IS. and that batman is the little weirdo he went to high school with

Ollie was scared of bruce and never talked to him. was 100% convinced that that kid did human sacrifice at some point or smthing.

Bruce and Harvey def picked on Lex. Were they his only friends? yes. Were they also really toxic and mean? Yes. Not that lex was nice either but ya know.

Lex has walked in on bruce and harvey kissing many times. poor boy just wants to chill in his room. He never tells anyone (who tf is he gonna tell anyway?) but he still thinks about it. in a 'he remembers it at the wirdest times, leans back, and goes huh' way.

Harvey doesnt realize he's bi until after his redemption arc in the far future. Because, obviously, making out with bruce over the years doesnt count. It's Bruce.

I’m probably not going to be watching anymore.

I mean it when I say that they’re literally the sole reason I watched this show in the first place. I saw a billion TikTok edits of them & was like “Idek these characters I need to watch this show and see what’s going on over there.”

And like, it’s a fun show, I’m not saying it isn’t, but first responder shows are a dime a dozen. There are other shows that have queer characters and found family and wild adventures. Granted, they don’t have Buck & his bi arc, but I’d still read fanfics to get my Evan Buckley fix lol.

I don’t need them right now, I’m so down for the slow burn, will-they-won’t-they & the pining & the yearning & the build up and the GOOD foundation. I want to see Eddie figuring himself out and dealing with his repression and figuring out he’s queer (& Demi, pls God. I hope if I just say it enough, I can will it into existence somehow) before anything happens with the two of them, but if they take definitive steps to have one of them like, marry someone else or something, I think I’m gonna head out. Find me on ao3 for the rest of my days lol.
