The homophobes/transphobes raging at the latest retcon of Nightcrawler’s origin story is so funny to me. Like- what are you even doing here? You’re complaining about an X-Men book having identity politics??? The series that has been Marvel’s go-to soapbox since the 1960’s?? The series that’s been so ridiculously queer-coded in everything from its conflicts to its character arcs to its goddamn fashion choices for decades??? I’m sorry, did you take a wrong turn and walk into the wrong fandom?
Tumblr media
Never mind that having Mystique & Destiny being Kurt’s bio parents was always Chris Claremont’s original intent. Or that their relationship has pretty much always been canon, or that this isn’t even their first time coparenting (albeit poorly, but we love that drama).
Tumblr media
You say it’s too convoluted? Ok, and the Azazel retcon wasn’t? Again, it’s X-Men, where convoluted origins and conspiracies reign supreme. You say it conflicts with Kurt’s identity as a man of faith? As if the whole point of his religion wasn’t always to clash with his demonic appearance in order to make the statement that true faith needs to be rooted in love and compassion and not bigotry or an outward show of righteousness? As if the comics have never had Kurt cross paths with far-right Christian nationalists who refused to see him for who he was?
Tumblr media
I mean- who’s gonna tell these guys about this classic? Did they think Logurt was a froyo flavor?
Tumblr media
In conclusion, I generally don’t like to gatekeep fandom, but omfg these people are such fake fans. As for me, my only issue with the retcon is the reframing of Raven as having wholly loved Kurt & wanted him but she just… misplaced her baby I guess. Like c’mon, guys, we can let Mystique be a messy lesbian AND a shitty baby-yeeting mom, give us that diversity win.

Prince that was promised comes from Daemon Targaryen's line.
Fan theory.
Don't really know of someone said this before or not but this is what came to my mind.
In House of the Dragon we are all talking about how the prince that was promised came from Rhaenyra line. Now that is right considering how Aegon iii is her son.
But I have some other thoughts. Here are some of them pointed out.
Rhaenyra's son, her own sons (Jace, Luke and Joffery) didn't survive the DoD. But her son's with Daemon (Aegon iii and Viserys ii) survived it.
Now I know Jace, Luke and Joffery were old enough to fight or much rather they had begun Dragon riding where as Aegon and Viserys were just babies. But then let's come to the second point.
Daemon's children: Baela, Rhaena, Aegon and Viserys.
Daemon's surviving children: Baela, Rhaena, Aegon and Viserys.
All of Daemon's children survived. Despite the fact that Baela's dragon was too small and died too even she fought and Rhaena's egg hatched too late too.
Another point:
Daemon Targaryen was Viserys I's heir until after Aemma Targaryen's death and his jape of "heir of the day"
Now, I love Rhaenyra. I really do. But even if we put aside Dance of the Dragon, the line goes like this:
Viserys I → Aegon iii
It is Daemon's son who sits on the throne undisputed. Not one of Rhaenyra's son. But Daemon's son with Rhaenyra.
And we know how things work more with destiny and magic when we are talking of ASOIAF.
Hence, THE PRINCE THAT WAS PROMISED COMES FROM DAEMON TARGARYEN'S LINE.
Now give three cheers for our power couple!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I just saw The Flash and holy shit...
For those of you who have seen it TALK TO ME PLZ I NEED TO RELEASE THE DC FANGIRL ENERY!!! I won't spoil it here, tho, ofc, in courtesy of those who have yet to watch it. But to any/all of you who happen to see this, just know that I'm seriously debating adding young/18 year old Barry Allen (and maybe current/regular Barry, I haven't decided) to the master list because, idk...
As much as I dislike Ezra Miller, they ate down like... I hate to say it, but their portrayal of the character is really doing it for me, so... separating the art from the artist/depictor. . .

I went all my life (until recently) never seeing a Star Wars or a Star Trek. It's kind of weird because I love science fiction and space but I just watched documentaries and read books idk 🥹
Anyways back to the point, as someone who went my whole life having 2 fandoms tell me to join... I finally have an answer.
Star Wars is way overhyped, I could for real go the rest of my life without watching again (I am so sorry, my bf with 2 Star Wars tattoos)
Star Trek is where it's at; it's so trippy and weird but everything makes sense and it just makes my mind go AAAAAHHH!!! I DEFINITELY SEE why that show invented fandom and popularized fanfics because oh my goddd I've only seen 2 episodes and I could honestly just watch them again tomorrow and be fine! I'm making up s c e n a r i o s based on these weird little planets. I love u star trek, it's like ive missed you my whole life. For those wondering- since I am a completionist type person, I am starting with the original series.

SSKK Parallels I want to see, please qwq Asagiri, I'm begging you
Ok so I need to cope from not only the angst of the last episodes of the anime, but also the fact Bones onces again robbed us from important SSKK scenes qwq
So, I'm part of the people that believe the vampirism can be reversed and that Akutagawa will live thanks to that.
So, one thing that I really want to see in the future of the manga but know it probably won't happen (but who knows, only Asagiri) is a parallel to this part.
Tumblr media
We know the reasons they failed was because of two things, one they didn't trusted each other so they didn't used the strategy Fukuchi himself said would have been his defeat, and we can't blame them for not trusting each other like that, not with their story and while Akutagawa seemed to trust their efforts and maybe even Atsushi, Atsushi here is the one with the most reasons to not trust Akutagawa and he still did a bit during their final attack, and even then they were not ready for this level of trust, not like their predecessors, SKK despised each other but still trusted each other with their lives on the battle field, they however had years to build up that trust for having to work together on the same organization, I think given SSKK circumstances the fact they managed to last that long and briefly success says a lot of their potential, they simply were not ready for this battle. The second reason was Fukuchi's sword, a powerful weapon neither of them was counting on, paired with Fukuchi himself who is an already hard to beat opponent on his own.
That being said, this is something they both could learn from, both of them have questions and thoughts regarding this, about the fact Akutagawa saved Atsushi so it also allows window for them to learn from each other and themselves in the case they can turn Akutagawa back to normal, and if they do this would open a frame time for them to talk this stuff out, to grown a bit and reach a point when they can trust each other even if it's only for this mission, and I believe that having Ranpo and maybe even Dazai on board, coming up with a plan, even in the middle of the end (given chapter 109's ending qwq) is possible to come up with a plan to secure victory.
So picture this, Akutagawa is reversed from the vampirization and is now back in the game on their side, staying with them as they are the only ones left capable of stopping Fukuchi. The plan is ready and SSKK are tasked to fight Fukuchi again, to deal the final blow to him, just them. They nod determined to not fail this time, but then another character makes the question.
"But... with just the two of them?"
At this both Akutagawa and Atsushi look at each other, they lock eyes in a way that make it seem they are talking through their shared look, and then their eyes gain a determined shine to them, their faces show their conviction, they nod to each other, and maybe even smirk in Akutagawa's case and grin in Atsushi's. Then Atsushi, still grinning, looks at the character who asked and says with conviction and security.
"Do we need more than that?"
And they go to the final battle in this war.
Don't tell me this wouldn't be such a good parallel to have, especially because it would reflect the evolution of their relationship, which I think already started developing when they made their six months deal, their relationship is far from fully developed, they still have a long path ahead (which is why I don't think Akutagawa will truly die even after the vampirism is reversed) but this would mark a point in their character arcs and dynamic with each other, it would be a reference point about how their relationship has grown.
But well, I'm juts a fan, a fan coping with what's happening in both the anime and the manga and who just wants the characters to succeed.
Thank you for reading my rant/wish/delusions

Okay can we please have a post where we just completely go OFF about how they tried to make Aang out to be a bad father???? LIKE ARE YOU FR RN????
One of the many things I can’t fucking stand about Korra is that they tried to make Aang out to be an absent husband and a bad father to all of them but tenzin. And was super hard on tenzin.
Excuse me? Aang in the ATLA series clearly remembers the importance of peace and love between his relationship with the Air Nomads and with his friends/family. And how badly he tries to avoid any type of harshness or fear not just throughout his own training but within his family group as well.
AND YOU HONESTLY GOING TO COME AT ME TELLING ME HE WAS A BAD DAD AND WASN’T THERE FOR KATARA??? Boi gave up going into the avatar state and loosing that entire part of himself just because he THOUGHT she was in danger. He hated ever leaving her side.
I have so much anger about this I need a rage room for two hours where I just scream facts about Aang and break stuff with a sledgehammer at the same time.
LIKE LOOK AT HIM. YOU LOOK AT HIM AND YOU'RE GOING TO TELL ME THAT IM WRONG?!?! HE CAME OUT OF AN ICEBERG AND INSTANTLY FELL IN-LOVE AND WANTED TO PLAY, DAWG. GROW UP BRO

Ive been binging the lego monkie kid, and its very good and I feel so bad for Sun Wu Kung, (Monkey King), cause like... It's clear he is trying his best to teach MK, its just that (like always for SWK) he dosent actually know what he is doing, instead making do with a mix of confidence, charisma, and kick ass powers (and luck but thats not alliteration). Like yeah he isnt the best mentor, but he is trying so hard to be supportive, and shows genuine concern for MK and his friends, it's just that he has no idea how to interact with them. It probably dosent help that they all look like/are decended from his old friends. Like, how often do you think he genuinly forgets what these guys are and arn't capable of because of that? Given the ammount of times he has made a suggestion and when the others object he is genuinly confused why they have a problem, only to be like "Oh right, you guys are mortal..." I say pretty often. Like, he's so used to superpowered entities, he genuinly forgets that these guys aren't. His only experience with something like this would be with the monk, where his job was to step in and save the day when he got in over his head. So now he's trying to do the same thing with MK, while also trying to teach him at the same time. When MK is in real trouble his first instinct is to go beat it himself, but MK wants to help, so he's left trying to figure out what MK can and can't handle, and since MK thinks its cause he dosent care, but really its cause like everything SWK does, he is making everything up as he goes, and trying his best to save the day.

Assassins Creed - Juhani Otso Berg (sketch) + small fan-rant on subject of Assassins Creed.
Small attempt to try hand on Berg in case I might go try to doodle that dream of mine. After my dream I had posted about last time, I did re-read some of those AC comics and while my 2023 resolution was not to be negative, where it can be avoided, then I have to admit I am not biggest fan of the style or character redesigns of those comics. Those are not bad artists, who did the Templar comics, but some how they were hard to follow - style wise. Characters look either too alike, or too generic. I am also more used to European graphic novels, more than US styled comic books, maybe that has its impact too? I like more detailed art and above all consistency (so i'd recognize characters between panels, which isn't always case with AC Templar comics). Anyway, one thing I noticed that they redesigned Berg for comics and later used same redesign in AC:Odyssey, where mister Berg made a show up on funny Egyptian mythos inspired armor remake with no animal head helmet. And now he had become also bald. They went from typically Scandinavian blonde-guy look to more ... not that. Although one comic - test - redesigns of Berg was very Adam Jensen alike. That made me laugh. And then looking for some online references for Berg, I run across a blog that demanded more modern day parts and 3rd person playable character for those in AC games and I am like total opposite. I would like them to remove modern day parts completely or make them optional campaigns. I disliked every modern day part in Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla. And Valhalla was only game where modern day was short enough for me to suffer till end of that. I never completed Origins nor Odyssey because I really disliked playing modern day and I kind of eventually stopped logging to game, when I was facing modern day sequence I had no mood on given moment... yet again as well in Valhalla i did 0 of the bonus events because Eivor was changed to modern day character during those. So... less modern day campaigns in AC games, not more. ... even when I like Berg as my favorite modern day character.

Summery of last night's movie night with my siblings.
My brother and I were getting ready for a Kung Fu Panda marathon. And tell him I remember a bit of the films and it's been years since I've seen them. But I remember shipping Tigress and Po for some reason. My brother, who remembers nothing of the films, says no one ships them. So we watch the films with my little sister. By the end of the night, my childhood shipping heart had awakened while my brother glared at me. Because our little sister ended up shipping it as well and he glares at me as if it's my fault. 😅
Man! It's not my fault!!! IT'S NOT!!! Watch the first film and I dare you to tell me Po doesn't have a crush on her. The poor guy gets locked out of the ceremony for The Dragon Warrior and gives up on getting in. It isn't until Tigress's name gets called that he perks up and tries to get in again. 😂 Then the 2nd film adds more to their friendship. I'm a strong believer in relationships that start as close friendships. That could be my demi-romantic side speaking but I will stand by it!!!
Ok! Got to get to work now. Just had a good time last night. 🤣

Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramun first impressions
I finally got to watch episode 1 (with the wackiest subtitles ever fml) and wanted to do a quick overview. this is just me trying to put my emotions in order btw bc it was a lot
beware: spoilers below!!
1. omfg it's here!!!! it's been 84 years 😭!!!
2. will forever miss the og cast but I could get behind this, just give it a few more eps
3. glad to have ljg rocking this role, the man knows his way around historical-ish dramas and you can tell they're using his experience in action-oriented roles as eunseom is literally kicking asses nonstop this season
4. before watching, I was honestly afraid about how well ljg would portray saya and eunseom's personalities so we could get that feeling of them being very different people. however, after having watched the ep I think he's capable of nailing the inner differences in both characters. lgj sorry I doubted you
5. this new tanya feels so... poised. not sure that's a bad thing, giving her role of high priestess, but it just feels so foreign from og tanya. she still seems to have that calculating vein in her which is good but this person just feels different from the tanya that fought nail and tooth through the mud against tagon's men. which brings me to my next point
6. I will give the character time for ssk's interpretation to grow on me however I'm really not sure if she has the range to fill kjw's shoes. sorry but kjw just set the bar too high
6. moving on. what was the reason for a 8-10 years time skip?? literally why???
7. don't tell me it was to make us believe this eunseom and tanya are "adults" now bc sjk and kjw already looked like grown-up people so why other reason did they have to pull this? S1 last ep literally ended on such a cliffhanger note for them not to do a follow-up from there. saya's face when he found out the truth?? tanya's "we're screwed" look?? the room for plot development that scene alone held??? and they decided to throw it all in the shadows and resume the story 10 years later??
8. istg I can forgive them for changing almost half the og cast but this ridiculous time skip?? a 2-3 years time skip would've been great. a few time would've passed but not too much for the stakes to cool down. now you're telling me 10 years have passed and they're nowhere closer to winning than they were last season?? what happened during those years we didn't get to see then?
you're telling me tanya just gave up and for 10 years straight she just played her role as tagon's puppet obediently and quietly? without coming up with any plan to turn the tables or smth, just lay around for 10 years? "oh but she's making plans now" okay and??? 10 years have passed and she's only trying to mind-control people now?? (trying being the keyword here). literally why??
9. fr this time skip is the worst idea they could've come up with. not only it did tanya dirty but also eunseom's army. you're telling me not a single person guessed there could be a mole among them in 10 WHOLE FUCKING YEARS?? here's a whole fleet that can't realize they've been spied on for YEARS?? bffr that long-ass time skip was a disservice for everyone
10. anyways, at least yangcha is here!!
(not the writers making this man hold this unspeakable tension with tanya for 10 years. make them canon or stop fooling us!! 💀)
11. ngl I quite literally forgot about some characters and their arcs, when they came on screen I was like ??? wait a damn minute
12. tanya and eunseom still waiting for each other!!! crying screaming sobbing, my babies. although I was temporarily tempted by saya but tanya x eunseom is the hill I will die on
11. overall, yes I'm very hyped. I will always miss sjk and kjw as tanya and eunseom but nothing in the world would stop me from witnessing myself how this story ends

So I may or may not be currently hyperfixating on Cats after finally seeing it live (fantastic production btw the 2022-23 cast is so good) and looking back on the Boschian nightmare that is the 2019 film, you know what the worst thing they did was? And I mean the WORST thing. It wasn’t turning sweet & matronly Jennyanydots into Rebel Wilson scissoring the camera. It wasn’t shoving poor Victoria into the role of protagonist in a musical that’s designed not to have a protagonist. It wasn’t the horrific MoCap suits (but I do still feel so bad for the VFX team that got thrown under the bus). It wasn’t even James Corden existing. I will go to my grave insisting that the movie’s greatest sin was, in fact, the straightwashing. Tom Hooper took my beautiful boys-
Tumblr media
And hit them with the hetero ray. How fucking dare he. The movie’s understanding of Tugger is so goddamn surface level it makes my head spin. Their version of him is a flirt and nothing else, and that isn’t actually the case in the musical. Like, for all his strutting and, ahem, gyrating, that Rum Tum Tugger isn’t actually all that interested in the girl cats who fawn over him is made pretty clear in his big number. But who DOES he show an interest in, in just about every version of the stage show?
Tumblr media
The movie adds insult to injury by still giving the “Rum Tum Tugger is a terrible bore” line to Mistoffelees, but then changing the context to make it no homo. Rather than Misto playfully teasing Tugger, he’s now acting jealous & trying to dissuade Victoria from taking an interest in Tugger. Because the film is so committed to convincing us that this guy is straight-
Tumblr media
that they wrote up a romantic arc for him out of whole cloth WITH HIS SISTER GUYS THEY WERE SO AFRAID OF GAY CATS THEY PAIRED HIM OFF WITH HIS SISTER. I know the film versions of their characters aren’t related (probably because Hooper & co didn’t know they were canonically siblings because they didn’t do their homework because they didn’t care they just wanted that awards bait)- but still what the actual fuck? No gays allowed but you can kiss your sibling. Truly a movie for Alabamans.

just for the record, for Samurai Rabbit fans who do like the show, objectively, the show is pretty good. What's the objective measure here? for me it's usually just much I can enjoy it while watching, but there's always more to it than that. i was a bit bored with the show the first 2 eps, but then it surprised me with a few elements in ep 3. I slowly understood what it was actually going for with the slowness. I kept watching and found things I liked about it. Got all sorts of theories and connections and story ideas. I started re-reading Usagi Yojimbo and went looking for more crew interviews. Saw how much the cast and crew seemed to like it and I'm convinced that it was a good show to work on. Rewatched it in other dubs to get some other perspective for my theories. But that's just one way I enjoy shows.
Of course, there's no real objectivity when it comes to tastes, so I say, if you like it, like it unabashedly. You never know when a show just ends or you'll look back and might feel sad you didn't really let yourself enjoy it, just because others don't. I've watched much trashier shows before this one, (comparably, Samurai Rabbit isn't even trashy at all), and those have gotten much less hate, for being much much more annoying/bad/low quality as a whole x3 You don't have to feel bad about folks hating on the show online. They just have a different taste than you. But if you like it, that's really the only metric you need to judge it.
(this is specifically a thought bc a younger fan wrote to me that they felt sad that the show got so much hate in reviews/online posts etc)
if the show was truly as bad as some folks say, it probably would not have been made. there are just so many factors at play in making a show, i personally just try to go by my gut feeling at this point abt shows and if they're going to be fun to watch or not.
Tumblr media
and lol i don't have the energy to put this into a longer well-articulated post but still wondering i guess why there are so many posts with "oh this show ain't so good, i hate it" etc etc
so????
sorry for sounding harsh or whatever but literally, watch more animation!!!! there are shows worse than this one and if you'd been alive when those aired you would have watched them and remembered them fondly, only to realize one day you were just watching them out of boredom bc there was nothing else animated on
even shows which we lambast as critical darlings within fandoms had their ups and downs during airing
how well a show is received always depends on how much the network loves it, but also a lot of pure luck
or you'd find a good show and see that the network abruptly ended it, not even with a solution or real ending, but just something open bc the creators were hoping the show could come back. or the show would come back, but completely changed, something so unwatchable you wish you could unwatch it
at least, that was my experience watching cartoons as a 20-something or younger, coming back to cartoon-watching because I had time after highschool
maybe the show just came out too late/early, and would have found a different audience if it came out at a different time. I think about how ROTTMNT was received and how now reviewers are coming back to it, with tails between their legs like "UmU this show was not so bad... after all!!!" shut it!!!! i guess compared to how rise was treated by old TMNT fans and critics alike, this one has gone fairly under the radar or remained almost unremarked upon. Well, old UY did complain about it, and youtube reviewers too, so it's sorta the same thing. kids' cartoons will always have adult critics because everyone thinks they know how to run a cartoon/know what a good cartoon is xD
find other things to do!!!! make your own cartoons and see how easy it is. western cartoon/tv is just how it is and it's not bad to expect more of it, but also, it feels weird to go along with hating or reviewbombing etc just because that's become something "in" now. there's worse media than an animated adaptation turned into a kids cartoon, made during the pandemic.
lowkey some of you just seem kind of spoiled with how many good series there are, and you're just putting the bar so high for even shows you like, NOTHING is good for you unless it's extremely perfect or catering to each and every of your expectations xD
yea ok, it's a children's cartoon - whatever! western children's cartoons can run such a wide gamut of quality vs enjoyability, there's so many shows now you can enjoy instead.
if it's good for you, great! if it's not, ok! don't go posting it in the tags as some universal opinion lol xD
again, there are much worse cartoons out there in the past and in other parts of the world. one little animation mistake or even several per episode aren't going to break my enjoyment of the episode or show as a whole xD
the slowness i mentioned experiencing for example, is also subjective. A reviewer on Commonsensemedia, wrote that they found the show too fast-paced, but that their young daugther liked it, and how the messaging came off as good to both them and their child. It's a matter of perspective.
like yeah, it's a bit goofy and dorky at times, I personally do not get some of the jokes (more on that in a proper review) and maybe as an animator, i'm a bit annoyed at some of the things done with the 3D animation specifically. But that's personal! and those are so few things. on the flipside, I was still able to enjoy the rest of the show, because to me it felt like a lot of care and thought was put into it as a whole. Like, many of the visdev team actually asked to be on the show. It can't be that bad if long time professionals around the western animation industry want to work on it.
A show that's truly bad, would not even bother fleshing out some sort of villain or antagonists at all, and mabye would have scrapped Kagehito as a character entirely, when hearing that it was sort of impossible to animate him as intended. But there's a lot of stuff in this show like that. Compromises from the crew, so they could still make the show and focus on aspects of production and story that were more necessary. So for example also, lobbying for more appearances of Miyamoto Usagi, even though Netflix was not on-board with that themselves, the producers and showrunners were. They were pushing for more of him and his backstory in this show.
so eah, idk, this ended up long anyway, but just, if you like it already, it's ok xD you don't have to justify yourself to other fans or people. and honestly, if you dislike it, same thing. you don't have to justify it. you can just dislike things without reason.

Learning about the actual game mechanics of Pokemon makes me so mad. I'm anime/plushie trash, not gamer trash (sarcasmsarcasm), so finding out the rules imparted on some games are just stupid --ESPECIALLY the remakes! Apparently the idea of FireRed and LeafGreen was uping the graphics and nothing else because you couldn't breed pokemon or evolve them in order to be accurate to the kanto pokedex???
I'm sorry but what's even the point of making a more polished, updated game in your franchise and not introduce mechanics you've included like breeding or expanding the dex to at least include the kanto evolution's whole family??? That's just ridiculous. I don't care what the gen wunners want, just release a revised 'retro' edition for them with updated sound, mechanics and missing no. being obsolete. I think that's more in line w what they want anyway, seeing as how most gen oners are also sticklers about how pokemon need to be drawn or whatever. For a kid who grew up watching this franchise expand, which I was, I'd BETTER have the perks from the latter games in MY Kanto experience, you cowards...
And then there's the baby pokemon which they stopped doing with gen 5. I love them because again I'm plushie trash but it makes sense that they'd be awful pokemon to use in game cause babies don't usually make good fighters. BUT THEN I FOUND OUT- not only do you not reliably get a baby each time you breed your pokes and get an egg, but the pokemon you raise from babies DON'T have any super special abilities/hp/power up/connection to you the player??? I'm not a game designer but to me that seems so obvious with an animalmonster-husbandry game! I mean, what are the starters for if not for that mechanic? I'm sorry but if I were a gamer I'd want my Munchlax I hatched from an egg to be my powerhouse best-boy once it's a Snorelax!

To new Sk8 fans
Please learn media literacy. When we talk about characters, particularly Ainosuke, we’re not talking things that are surface level. We’re looking at all aspects of them, not just the past or present. We don’t talk about characters through a binary (thinking) lens. The binary being strictly evil and good.
P.S: please tag your character hate with their name censored in asterisks (ex: ad*m, ch*ry, j*e,) or just anti their name (anti adam, anti cherry, anti joe)

I HATE CHADOK RANT!! Part 1)
EPISODE 8:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
He has an influence on Akk that is slowly killing him. Akk feels the need to please everyone and he is taking advantage of it.
I know that Chadok has pressure too, but you are supposed to be a teacher and this is psychological abuse. I don't know if you broke Dika like this too, but this is what you do.
Aye was never worried about Jamnan, Jamnian, and Jamnong (World Remembers Gang), because he knows they have each other so they won't break. Aye doesn't want them to get hurt, but he doesn't think they will. Akk on the other hand, Aye knows he will break if everything goes to hell. Aye doesn't want to lose another, like how he lost Dika. Dika was a good influence on both Akk and Aye, and an important person to them both.
I want to kill Chadok at this moment because, this is will get to Akk and will mess with his head, because he doesn't want to disappoint anyone. It makes me cry how much of an influence Chadok has over Akk, it hurts to watch.
I am glad that Akk is starting to see through all of this, and realize that this school will hurt him and the people he cares about if he doesn't do something. He was planning to never break fully, because of all the pressure. He had the help of Aye to prevent it.
EPISODE 10:

some fanmix for Dream on youtube inlcuded Skillet’s “Stars” and I know it’s about God but damn it fits so well and in my mind I alternate between a very drunk Hob and a very desperate Corinthian singing this, I mean, the lyrics are so good If You can hold the stars in place You can hold my heart the same Whenever I fall away Whenever I start to break So here I am, lifting up my heart To the one who holds the stars
