Why I rec it: It's a really wonderful fanfic and I read it practically in one sitting once the action hit (and it hits the ground running). Morwinyon is a fantastic OC and her character arc is fascinating, as well as the background Thranduil and Silmarillion references. It's incredibly well-researched against film and canon lore and combines the two and pretty much has replaced the events of The Hobbit films for me because it's just that good. I can't recommend this series and the prequel story about Thranduil's wife enough.

I don’t always finish reading a 400k fanfic in just under a week and a half (I think). Though I think that has more to do with me just... avoiding stories of that length to begin with. Nothing against them it’s just... Hang on, I was going somewhere with this.

Point is I finished A Blight on Bonesborough and it was good.
