Last week, I rewatched the Fred Astaire/Ginger Rogers movie "Shall We Dance" for the first time since high school

I remembered a lot of the great dancing scenes, but I'd forgotten the humor in the script itself. As in this scene:

Like everyone else I think about standalone city of mist comic a normal amount, but when thinking about other possible mediums the only filmed format I think could consistently work is something like NightMare Time.

I would pay blood to see a case like Amnesia Town or The Unwanted Guest adapted like this, the series does a very good job at conveying a similarly dramatic tone as the comics and visually it does remind me of a lot of the live play shows I've seen for city of mist already.

YOu'd maybe need to exclude the. Musical numbers but I'm sure there can be a reason for them to stay as well

Might be pound for pound one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Almost nothing positive to say. They should study this in classes on what not to do.

honestly never understood the idea of sequels that "ruin" the series like??? it's all made up. literally just don't look, and if you do for some reason, just mentally put it in the same folder as fanfiction. the concept of the "validity" of a piece being dependent on whether it's canon or not is completely fabricated bullshit made up by cappies, lame-o's, and narcs trying to force "intellectual property" agenda down your throat. write your own sequel. be your own cowboy. i hope you dance by lee ann womack.

The concept is a great idea. But they don't reach the potential the plot had. Still had some funny sequences. Give it a shot on a slow night. Liam Hemsworth and comedy just don't go together. That hurt the movie, no charm.

Entrevista com o Demônio

Geralmente odeio assistir trailers de filmes e evito participar de hypes sempre que possível, mas vi um cartaz tão retrô, tão simpático de um filme chamado ENTREVISTA COM O DEMÔNIO ano passado que fiquei — ok, vou assistir o trailer pra ver do que se trata… e caras… apenas gostaria de dizer que por meses achei que o dia de enfim ver este filme NUNCA chegaria.

E que mal posso esperar para assisti-lo mais uma vez no cinema dia 26 de setembro também!

A briga pela audiência não foi uma coisa inventada pelo Gugu, Silvio Santos ou Faustão (pasme), e consequentemente o Jimmy Carson, então apresentador do Tonight Show, alugou um triplex enorme na cabeça do ex-radialista (e possivelmente metido com ocultismo e satanismo, com pacto e tudo) Jack Delroy, que utilizou até sua esposa em fase terminal de doença para arrancar um primeiro lugar na ferrenha briga pela audiência noturna norte-americana (e ainda assim não conseguiu).

Destinado a fazer seu momento acontecer, custe o que custar, ele prepara um especial de Halloween com convidados bastante inusitados e que prometem entregar o maior espetáculo de horror real que o espectador comum já viu até então.

O longa utiliza com maestria esse pano de fundo da disputa por audiência (e quem viveu no auge da televisão sabe que o bagulho era bem intenso MESMO) para entregar o Ghost Watch dos Talk Shows. É um filme que cumpre muito bem o seu papel, e embora às vezes os efeitos especiais deixem um pouco a desejar (há um vômito feito em CGI que soa tão convincente quanto parece), em outros ele surpreende — e a história te puxa para dentro de um jeito tão cativante que é impossível não se sentir impactado pelo que está se desdobrando perante seus olhos.

Entrevista com o Demônio é, sem dúvidas, um dos (senão o) meus filmes preferidos de horror deste ano, e já estou planejando assisti-lo novamente este fim de semana.
