would you do satosugu discovering their "friend" (both of them have a fatass crush on m!reader) is a teen dad, and just all of them chaotically taking care of a baby. (like those collage students raising a baby tiktoks?)
Tumblr media
ok so technically i only write for blue lock buttttttttttt… i am more than willing to make an exception for this. this is also my favorite niche of satosugu fics so im super honored someone requested it from me
tags: male reader has a foster daughter bc hell yeah girl dads, unnamed child bc that's too much for me, reader is a sorcerer, found family but in a janked up kinda way, whipped satosugu, pre-hidden inventory so everyone is in high school in this this a long one yall
part two coming soon!
Tumblr media
★ when assigned an extremely harsh mission, you find an orphaned child barely a year old within all the rumble. you soon found out her family was recently killed in the destruction. unsure of what would happen to her after this, you decided to take her as your own.
★ scared of any judgment, you didn’t tell anyone about her so only a few higher-ups were aware. luckily you were allowed to live off campus so you two could have more space and privacy.
★ however the physical effects of raising a kid all on your own at such a young age were certainly showing. you came to school visibly worn down, often falling asleep in the middle of class and taking more absences than usual.
★ the first people to notice, of course, were gojo and geto. as nosy as they were, they tried not to push it, knowing you had just come back from a really taxing mission. though they did get more and more suspicious whenever you didn’t let them visit your new place.
★ however one day, they did spot you out in public wearing a baby carrier with, of course, a baby they’d never seen before resting right inside. they immediately came up to you and bombarded you with multiple questions before you got them to chill out and explained everything.
★ wanting you to take some time off (and win you over), they offer to take care of her regularly. who were you to refuse? after all, it is free babysitting and you were already using up so much money hiring actual babysitters.
★ during their first babysitting job, you thanked them profusely before going back into your room and instantly falling asleep the moment your body hit your bed, taking a very well-deserved nap.
★ you see, gojo was already pretty hesitant about you having a kid around. this was before he took in megumi so he found basically any child gross and annoying. (though he’s somehow even more attracted to you now that you’re a dad.)
★ coughs dilf lover gojo i mean what?
★ so when gojo picked up your baby for the first time, she immediately cried when they made eye contact and he got so so personally offended that he started rethinking this whole babysitting thing.
★ the first thirty minutes or so of taking care of your kid went pretty okay. that was until she started crying again and neither of them knew why.
★ you see, these idiots have no idea how to care for a child.
★ they frantically tried to calm her down and figure out what was wrong without needing to wake you. they checked if she was hurt in any way, she definitely wasn’t hungry since they already fed her, nor did she need to be changed. gojo even called shoko to see if she could do anything.
★ when they eventually saw her crawling towards your room and sobbing right outside your door, hesitantly let her in to see her climb onto your bed and lay down with you, realizing she just missed you the whole time. that entire experience made them so exhausted that they almost climbed into bed with you. but when they saw the gratitude on your face after you woke up, it made it all worth it.
★ luckily the next few times they watched over her, babysitting got more and more easy as she grew used to them.
★ they start coming over so often to look after her that your place basically becomes their second home.
★ geto is in charge of doing her hair since the last time gojo attempted it, it was just a big mess of hair ties and ribbons. geto’s definitely not complaining since he loves to get her ready. in fact, geto does a lot of the responsible stuff when taking care of her since gojo, hmm what’s a nice way to put it, lacks a lot of the necessary skills.
★ oh yeah, remember what i said about gojo hating younger children? yeah, that completely changes as he spends more time with your daughter. he’s almost always playing with her or showing up with a brand new toy or stuffed animal just for her. he ends up loving her so so much and wants to be her cool fun dad.
★ unfortunately both of them are way too nice when it comes to disciplining her. they let her get away with so much. late bedtimes, too much tv, grabbing any treats she wants off the grocery store shelves. how can they not spoil such an adorable little girl like her!?
★ what’s also unfortunate is how they try to drag you into it.
“come on, y/n. let loose a little. cake for dinner does sound pretty appetizing right now.”
“come on. just let her watch ten more minutes before bed.” gojo lazed on the couch with her on his lap. “besides this cartoon is starting to get good.”
“come onnn… just let her buy it.” geto held up a sparkly pink dress you already told him she doesn’t need with his own sparkles in his eyes. “she’ll look so cute in it. i promise i’ll pay you back.”
★ their hearts explode whenever you’re affectionate with her. they love the way you gently rock her in your arms while humming a sweet lullaby, slowly lulling her to sleep. the way they see you kiss her forehead after placing her into the crib before quickly turning around and acting like they weren’t staring the whole time. they fall head over heels for you for probably the twentieth time by now since they met you but those times were definitely the hardest.
★ they’ve been in her life for a good while so when she begins talking more frequently, she starts calling them her papas as she does with you. gojo aka former “ugh kids are so gross and icky” feels his heart combusting whenever she calls him that and he owns that title proudly. meanwhile geto feels so endeared and honored that she sees him that way.
★ “we’re not the stepdads. we’re the dads that stepped up!” looking asses.💀
★ the secret of you having a kid doesn’t last for long since these two can’t keep quiet about it. they’re just way too happy and want to show her off. especially gojo who scrolls through 100s of photos of her while gushing about her to basically anyone who’ll listen. shoko and nanami are the most common targets whenever this happens.
★ he even ends up showing photos of you and your daughter napping together (that you had no idea he took), making you snatch his phone away in embarrassment.
★ whenever you guys go out on family dates to go to the beach or picnicking, geto always takes the time to dress her up with pretty hairstyles and cute little outfits. he absolutely loves doting on her.
★ they love her with all their hearts and would do absolutely anything for her. she’s so lucky to have three weird dads take care of her and raise her. a very odd and… unconventional family dynamic but an amazing one nonetheless. this family only grows bigger and bigger once gojo takes in megumi and geto practically adopts mimiko and nanako.

Ok. I have a lot to say about this. I think it's been abundantly clear they have been struggling to keep the company afloat, but I also think its a double edged sword bv they bit off more than they could chew in the first place. I've had this opinion for a while but it really cemented since the beginning of Ghost Files. I enjoyed what Watcher was at the beginning, I think they put in good work with Puppet History and it still continues to be their standout show and had a fair amount of "low-budget" shows that filled out the edges like are you scared, too many spirits, top 5 beat down, even their dnd campaign. But as soon as Ghost Files started I began to notice a trend of... idk... bleeding money? Ghost Files was so high budget that I was bored. I get that Ryan wanted to breathe new life into a ghost hunting series but what made bfu so good wasn't the ghost evidence... it was his and Shane's friendship. That's why I liked all their small shows near the start of Watcher--it felt like friends. I think they just continued to go bigger and bigger with more things and more random interns and more shows that it just got to be too much which... led us here. I hate to say I haven't watched their videos in forever, and that ghost files bored me so bad I couldn't even finish some episodes... but thats what happened. I get them moving exclusively to patreon. We all need money. But I wish instead of that, they just focused their energy into their CLEARLY popular series. Puppet History was beyond good--their only series that I didn't mind random guests every episode, in fact it was made better by the random guests--mystery files had potential but came at a bad time, ghost files should've been way lower budgeted and focused on modern house calls TBH! I'm sick of old prisons!!!! And get rid of the fan evidence! Stupid! Also IDGAF about fancy gadgets! All you need is three things and let your humor carry the rest of it. Beyond the "big" series they could have their low budget ones like are you scared, too many spirits, top 5 beat down (the show that I hate random guests for), playing videos games idk man, and like one more or something who knows. But with what they dove headfirst into it doesnt shock me they fell into this hole.... I just wished they realized no one cares about the highest of high budget video series... they care about the dynamic between ryan and shane. Im sick of random ass people in their videos wheres steven lim do a video with steven lim why is he banished to do you taxes. wtf put him in top 5 beat down instead of these random ass random people. the drew gooden one was good though I dont mind actual famous funny people being guests.
anyway those are my thoughts. TLDR they bit off more than they could chew, loss sight of what made them so enthralling, and now are washed up youtubers... saddening

So while working on a drawing WIP of mine, I was watching a video from Drew Gooden on the Avatar Netflix adaption (note: I have never seen Avatar: the Last Airbender, and I don’t particularly plan to, either; I am just a fan of Drew Gooden’s videos and I like to learn about various series I will probably never and honestly have no desire to directly, personally interact with), and I think that he perfectly summed up in very short terms what I mean when I say that the Fifteen anime and manga are both poor adaptions of the original story.
[Transcript: “Now, before I continue getting mad about every single aspect of this show, I do wanna answer a more general question of like, ‘what should we expect out of an adaption?’ — because it may sound like I’m trying to say that this should have been a one-to-one recreation of the original show, when that is not the case.”
“You can, and should, be able to change things; why even bother spending all this money to make something that looks worse, if it’s going to be exactly the same? But, those changes need to enhance the story; they can’t be at odds with the spirit of the show, or fundamentally change a character.” /end Transcript]
While I still need to finish my article on Fifteen and its anime adaption, and later better address the manga, this is the point I want to hammer home to people who refuse to get the position I am coming from:
I am not saying that either the manga or the anime would be bad in and of themselves if they were wholly original stories, or that there is anything inherently wrong with adding content that was not in the original source material.
I am saying that they are bad at being adaptions; they are bad at representing the pre-existing story they are supposed to be telling in a new medium. While they could be perfectly fine and serviceable — if, in my opinion, far less compelling — stories if they were original content with no previous source material to adapt from, they are not that, and that is what makes them bad. They are horrible representations of the story they are trying to tell, and for an adaption there can be no greater failing than this.
The biggest changes that were made to both the anime and the manga do not enhance the story.
They do not fit the spirit of the source material.
The anime fundamentally changes a major character and re-writes an entire scene and major plot points in order to allow them to have an excuse for a few seconds of cheap fanservice for a popular pairing/character — which could have still been had in an even better way without mutilation in a different scene they actively decided to remove in order to save time that they completely squandered anyway.
The manga in certain crucial chapters takes visual creative liberties that do not at all fit the spirit, tone, or descriptions within the source material in order to play up a horror aspect that very simply was not intended to exist in the first place, and in doing so fundamentally alters important characterization, along with unnecessary and tone-altering tweaks to a few choice lines of dialogue.
An adaption should be just that: an adaption, not a re-imagining, not a re-telling, not a re-make; its job is to tell the story and elevate it as much as possible using the unique perks of the specific medium it is being brought into. For both anime and manga, this should have been done through the use of visuals (and in the case of the anime, movement, music, and voice acting) to bring the scenes described within the original source material to life and fill in the blanks based on the rest of the picture painted there, as well as expand on certain points and add to them using the spirit of the original story.
Both the anime and the manga have times when they prove that they can do such things quite well and quite efficiently, but then utterly fail to do at some of the points where it matters the very most, and that is why it can’t and shouldn’t be forgiven.
It is not a matter of not being one-to-one with the original with every scene, it is a matter of completely ignoring the most fundamental and important aspects of some of the very most crucial ones of those scenes in favor of “doing its own thing”, even if it means completely ignoring the points the original source material — and the adaption most closely worked on by the original creator (the stage plays) — tried to make.

Here are some shows I recommend to everyone!!! I just want the chance to gush about my favorite shows and if this convinces you to watch any of them, then I will consider my life’s mission complete and I will die peacefully 💕 (these are in no particular order btw)
1. It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia
- I love this show. I love it so much. The first show to ever make me laugh OUT LOUD in my empty home while watching, like a full on belly-laugh even with no one else around. I got my roommate/bestie/partner to like this show, and now our dorm room is covered in iasip stuff. It’s half satire and half pure comedy, with some really dynamic and funny characters and a super simple premise (5 people own a bar. They get up to shenanigans around Philly. They are also the most terrible people on the planet and have no regard for others.) I know a lot of people hate the first season (probably for good reason, the political satire didn’t click very well from the get-go and its… difficult… to sit through some scenes) but I still enjoy it purely for how funny the characters are despite being awful people. Notable episodes are The Nightman Cometh (4x13), The Gang Solves the Gas Crisis (4x2), A Very Sunny Christmas (6x13), and The Gang Dances Their Asses Off (3x15).
2. Barry
- this is the most recent show that I finished all the way through, and I have to say, it’s really that good. Bill Hader is a really amazing actor — I had only seen him on SNL before this, and I had no idea he could display such a perfectly horrifying range of emotions. It starts a little slow; the first couple of episodes are good, not outstanding, but then it really picks up and creates a super strange, almost surreal atmosphere of tension/emotion/drama. Basically, the premise is that a professional hit man realizes his true passion is acting, but can’t seem to shake his past and move forward with his plan of redemption. A super great show. Honestly I can’t pick a single episode or two that are my favorite, but Ronny/Lily from season 2 was nominated for an Emmy I think, so check that one out :) this show is also very very violent so just giving you a warning now lol
3. Arrested Development
- this show is so good??? what???? honestly I never watched the last two seasons (I tried — I failed), but the third season ends the show perfectly, you don’t have to watch after that if it’s not holding your attention like it didn’t hold mine. I don’t even know how to describe how well this show (especially the first season, which is the best first season of almost any show I’ve seen) interconnects all these crazy jokes, plot lines, and characters so effortlessly. It’s fucking insane. I think (?) Drew Gooden made a video about how AD was ahead of its time, go check that out if you’re interested in hearing more about the humor style bc it’s really hard to explain. The premise is that a super rich family ends up losing their money when the patriarch is sent to jail for fraud (??) and hijinks ensue. Best episodes are Bringing Up Buster (1x3), Pier Pressure (1x10), and Let ‘Em Eat Cake (1x22).
4. What We Do In The Shadows
- vampires who live in Staten Island with their human familiar, what could be better than that?? I am not going to sit here and say that this show is amazing or perfectly written — it’s not, but something about the passion that the actors put into their roles, how they absolutely fully commit to the goofiness, is super endearing and hooked me from the beginning. It’s campy and fun with a dark sense of humor, and really sells its concept well. Vampires!!! Blood!!! Homosexuals???? The Casino (3x4) is a standout episode to me, but most of the episodes are about the same quality in my mind.
5. Succession
- yeah this show deserves all the fucking awards. It’s so good. I almost never choose to watch dramas, but I was promised gay people, and while that kind of didn’t shape out, the rest of the story is just amazing. I’m sure you guys have heard people rave about this show, and you should listen to them, because they are fucking right!!!! On the outside, it looks like a bland, colorless business drama, but once you dive into it (the first half of season one is kind of a slog), there is so much pain, love, redemption, loss, and beauty hidden under the layers of the show (and this reflects the characters too — stale from the outside, but much deeper and intriguing on the inside). The writing is spectacular. The jokes are actually funny?? The camera work and acting is incredible (seriously, props to Jeremy Strong for making me have overwhelming levels of empathy for his shitty, horrible character. Also, all the other actors and actresses are amazing, I can’t think of a single one who put in less than 110% into their role). Just go watch it. All the episodes are good, but the beginning episode of season 3 is such a strangely compelling and relatable character journey for Kendall, I felt way too many emotions in one sitting.
6. Stranger Things (Season 1)
- I am currently at the end of season 2, and while I still really enjoy it, I don’t think there has ever been a more cohesive and enjoyable first season of a show than Stranger Things. Like.. when people were hyped about this… it was deserved. I only recently got around to it, but yeah, it’s just as awesome as people say it is. The horror elements are really well done (I normally hate gore and horror and scary stuff, but I found myself not even shying away or being grossed out, it just fits so perfectly into the story that it wasn’t off putting to me at all), and the characters are so dynamic and realistic and interesting that I felt myself so incredibly compelled to watch the next episodes just to see what the characters did next!! I’m trying to think of characters that I disliked from the first season, and I genuinely can not think of any (Steve is a little flat, but he’s not super important this season so I forgive him). The plot is so unsettling and creepy, I was sitting on the edge of my seat watching most of the season. The soundtrack slaps, the direction is awesome, the set pieces are fun to look at and make perfect places for action to occur. All the storylines coming together at the end occurs so smoothly that I was actually shocked they managed to pull it off, and none of the things the characters did made me irrationally frustrated like in most horror media (except when a few characters of the main group split up for an episode — that was kind of stupid and didn’t need to happen). I like the time period they decided to set it in I guess, I felt nostalgic for the 80s even though I was born in 2003 lmao. Just go watch the first season, you won’t regret it.
Okay I might make a part 2 later because I’m tired of typing, but hopefully you guys will give these shows a chance!!! 💕💕💕

🖋Notes on the day🖋
Today wasn’t as productive as yesterday, but that’s okay because I didn’t feel good this morning. However it was pretty exciting to look at engagement rings! I won’t be negative but I will say I think they’re a little too young to be getting married for a couple who has only been long distance, but as long as they’re happy it’s okay. I also didn’t expect my mom to get invested in the Eddy & Ted Rainforest Cafe Cinematic Universe but it was funny!

it's 2am and i just finished American psycho for the first time
i have many thoughts but I'm not a film bro so these have probably been said before
1. i watched it partly because of all the sigma memes and partly because of the drew gooden video about the sequel and I just want to say if you watched this movie and all you got out of it was "haha hot sigma kill women" or that Patrick is a role model you should be on a list because I watched it and was terrified men are scary I was rooting for Christy and Jean the whole time
2. pretty basic opinion but i think it's really cool how it's entirely up to the viewers interpretation what is real and what isn't because you can take it whichever way you want this movie was a goddamn experience I felt like I was also going insane watching it
3.I find it interesting how at the beginning of the movie Patrick casually watches lesbian porn while working out and that really impacts his view on women and especially lesbians also I'm confused as to why he watched the prostitutes fuck while staring facts about. music
4. Patrick Bateman's skincare routine is pretty cool and I'd you're a "sigma male" who wants to follow in his footsteps this is the only think you should follow
edit: just found out about the yassification of Patrick Bateman on this hellsite and I want to say that I will accept that coming from non-mem romanticise him all you want <3

Outsider POV!
Here we are, again! I mean it when I say I have a lot more of these so ring me up, If you want! Enjoy!
little are the things we learn by newamsterdam
Almost half an hour has passed, and Kirishima and Bakugou still haven’t come back. Bakugou may be fine running on fumes, and could probably blast his way through the second part of the exam on pure willpower and stubbornness. But Kirishima should probably eat, and relax for at least a bit.
Kaminari is such a good friend. He hopes Kirishima appreciates him properly. He gets to his feet and wanders out into the hall, looking for a glimpse of Bakugou or Kirishima.
He sees— well. It’s more than a glimpse. And at first, Kaminari doesn’t quite believe it.

“Oi, dumbass, get over here.”
Out of habit, Midoriya instantly turns his head towards the voice. He opens his mouth before his eyes even fully reach him, but he’s cut off before he can even finish. “Yes Kacch—!”
“Coming!” Oh. Oh. It’s Kirishima whose exclamation breaks off his own, who is the one who puts their hand on Bakugou’s shoulder once they catch up to him while exiting the classroom. Bakugou doesn’t make any effort to shrug it off.
Midoriya’s mind can’t help but jokingly poke at his heart. Wth, he sarcastically puts his hand over his chest, as he kind of laughs to himself. I thought… I was dumbass…

He glanced over his shoulder just a moment, too far out of earshot now, but still able to see his classmates where they sat. He watched as Bakugou held up the bright red enmusubi, letting it dangle from his finger near Kirishima’s hair, where it poked out from beneath his beanie. In response, Kirishima laughed, clutching the matching dark blue enmusubi in his hands while Bakugou tilted his head, and Midoriya could only assume he was comparing the similar color of his charm and Kirishima’s bright red hair.
It was rare that he got to see any of his classmates look their age. It was so easy to forget that they were teenagers sometimes, what with the dangers that they faced daily. But as he looked at Bakugou and Kirishima, sitting under the tree, laughing and blushing as they talked about and looked at their omamori… he remembered, and he smiled.
They just looked so happy.

Midoriya can't help but notice the way that the relationship between Bakugou and Kirishima changes, watching from the moment that Kirishima declares them friends until they slowly develop into something more.

Reccomendations (V long sorry 😅)
I offer you all some shows to watch instead of hAzBiN hOtEL:
Epithet Erased (On YT I think. - Animation style is a little hard to get used to, but I love the chars and story line. Wholesome fun.)
Brooklyn 99 ( Netflix - please remember that real cops are not like this, it is a fictitious portrayal - the actors themselves donated 100,000 $ to support protesters against cops. Enjoy it but watch it as the fiction it is. Be aware that it’s copaganda.)
She-ra ( Netflix- we stan that lgbtq representation)
Avatar the Last Airbender (Netflix - Most of you have prbly already seen it but uh. If you haven’t, it’s pretty good. Definitely a lighthearted semi childish show.)
Daria (Crave - We stan unique poc representation. https://www.vice.com/en_us/article/59kp45/daria-jodie-landon-suburban-black-girl)
Adventure Time (Dailymotion -free- or Google Play - Just google best episodes and watch those ones. The ones with Marceline + PB are my personal faves.)
Magic For Humans (Netflix - Basically an interesting magic show. Fun activity: when I watch this w/ other ppl we try to figure out how he did the tricks.)
The Fresh Prince (Netflix - A classic. Still know the theme song by heart.)
Hilda or Kipo and the Wonderbeasts (Netflix - these two animated shows are new unique takes on fantasy adventures. )
IZombie ( Netflix - Basically a zombie detective, but better. Think Veronica Mars. -also a good detective show y'all should watch. *trigger warning: it’s a zombie murder show so it has some semi-realistic depictions of gore/brains.)
Disenchantment ( Netflix -The closest thing to Hazbin on this list. An animated show with dark humour without being racist or homophobic. *some animated gore that some people might find triggering. It’s been a while since I watched so idk exactly what.)
Final Space ( Netflix -like disenchantment, an animated show with an intended audience older than your average animation show. *again, animated gore.)
Mods, if any of these shows are homophobic/racist/otherwise problematic -(ignoring B99 which is obvious copganda. Again: It’s fiction. Do not -I repeat, DO NOT- look at it as a real representation of cops. It’s not.)- please say so. We not here tryna recommend problematic shows. Or, if you have any other reccomendations?
ps: I’m Canadian, so some of these shows may not be on american Netflix, or some of the ones that aren’t may be on it. Idk. Stay safe y'all. Oof way too long submission finally over.
-
if you like anime, here are things i watch:
blue exorcist - DEMONSSS (hulu and netflix im p sure)
scissor seven - its actually chinese animated, but its very well made and the production value goes up as the show goes on. i honestly rlly like the cliche anime backstory for the main char bc its also funny as hell (netflix)
saiki k - its like if one punch man was a teen who was also incredibly sarcastic. if you have adhd this shows p good for you too, it goes really fucking fast and you cant look away or youll miss something. its hilarious, go watch. (netflix)
also, some youtubers if youre feelin like that:
dream - minecraft youtuber, child friendly (not in the annoying way. just no cussing)!! hes like 5000 iq and holy shit his minecraft manhunts are insane. holds the mc speedrun world record POG. good coder, my fav youtuber right now.
hellfreezer - reading reddit stories youtuber. his voice is very nice, and videos are faily long. i use him as background noise when doing work.
TRO (the right opinion) - long commentary/rant videos on controversial topics/youtubers, like onision and yandere dev. sexy british voice ;)
mossbag - hollow knight lore and theories. i love hollow knight sm
penguinz0 - streams, commentaries, very short videos. one of the funniest men alive. absoultely incredicble. hes very quick witted and his insults make me scream laugh sometimes
joana ceddia - random life videos. full of personality! i love her honestly shes really chill but also gives off the energy of a thousand suns
pointcrow - gaming youtuber. makes a lot of insane challenge botw videos/zelda vids in general. he streams and then makes the videos.
jarvis johnson - makes videos like drew gooden/danny gonzalas do, but he is also a poc. his bids are entertaining and interesting!! i recommend greatly if you like shorter commentary videos.
.phe
my current faves are:
dorohedoro - anime about humans and wizards coexisting during a war against each other. the wizards hate the humans and curse them to experiment with their magic. all-powerful demons control the magic world behind the scenes. very graphic in regards to gore, some nudity on occasion. anime not finished adapting from manga.
hunter x hunter - anime about hunters who do just that-- go out into the world and hunt for whatever it is they want. examples include justice for their clan killed by genocide, a new family because the old one is a toxic group of assassins who believe you can’t have friends, friends to fill in for an absentee father, and a phd. somewhat graphic in regards to gore, especially so later on in the series. anime not finished adapting from manga.
what we do in the shadows - tv mockumentary series about vampires living in staten island. very funny but also VERY NSFW... lots of sexual references/content, gore and blood.
snowpiercer - tv fantasy series about the apocalypse in which the government fucked up and sent the world into a total deep freeze. 1001 train cars are all the life that remains on earth. VERY NSFW... sexual references/content, gore and blood. there’s also a movie adapted from the comic series by the iconic and incomparable bong joon ho on netflix which is good.

three  fictional  character  (  s  )  you  see  yourself  in  +  why :  uhhhh... 1) bubbles from powerpuff girls. because i am baby. 2) juliet o’hara from psych. i’ve just been rewatching a lot of psych and i love how she’s such a serious yet funny / soft and idk why i just relate to that. 3) john mulaney in mulaney. because this is a cop-out to say i relate to anything / everything john edmund mulaney every does.
i  started  roleplaying : i first started on some fourms ??? on an app on my itouch ??? but my first tumblr rp group was percy jackson and everyone though i was this all knowing pjo fan... when really i was just fast to look shit up on the wikia. i had never read a single page of the series. types  of  rps  i  enjoy :  fandoms, typically ! i used to be exclusively love animated roleplays? like cartoons? but then i transitioned to musicals? like, exclusively playing musical characters??? at this point, tara is like the one exception nowadays... favorite  fcs  to  use :  um... olivia holt is a recent fave? joshua basset, also. my old faves are mary kate wiles and hunter parrish tho. real old. otherwise, i don’t know if i’d say i get attached to fc’s? fandom  (  s  )  you’d  like  to  write  in : i kinda wanna go back to some of my cartoon roots, maybe? i really haven’t deviated from the same 8 - 9 mostly musical characters in literally years...  fandom  (  s  )  you  aren’t  in  but  are  curious  about :  um... the raven cycle ,  miraculous ladybug  , uh..... everything else. i’m so randomly interested in everything.
share  a  funny  roleplay  horror  story :  my favorite is when i was in a youtuber rpf / oc rp, and this girl... made an oc... and made the fc... herself. she made a literal self-insert oc. with herself as the face. like low-res gifs of herself. why, you ask? i think she was trying to ship herself with dan howell. that didn’t age well, did it?

i  prefer  .  .  . angst  ,  smut  ,  or  fluff :  i am a massive sucker for fluff, but i’m so guilty of angst... i love pain. i don’t really do smut tho. sorry. long  or  short  replies :  i generally prefer short replies, unless we’ve somehow developed a thread into something long. or i’m feeling particularly inspired. pre  plotting  or  chemistry : i love chemistry with all my heart, but sometimes it’s fun to plot past connections that can reignite? idk. mostly chemistry sentence  starters  or  headcanon  memes : headcanon memes, because im never creative to turn a sentence starter into something that makes sense, esp between two characters who don’t know each other. single  muse  or  multimuse  blogs :  multimuse, because i spent too many years reblogging replies to the wrong sideblog and those days are over !!! gif  icons  ,  medium  gifs  ,  or  static  icons : i prefer gif icons for shorter replies and medium gifs for longer ones... or whatever my partner is using. i like some sort of consistency.
grab  the  book  nearest  to  you  and  pull  a  quote  from  it : ‘ what’s the rush? ’ repeat this phase when you’re feeling overwhelmed or stressed out. ask yourself whether somethings really needs doing immediately. are you ignoring your needs in order to do it?  - the little book of sloth philosophy.
what’s  a  quote  or  song  lyric  that  speaks  to  your  soul  ? : “ did you fall? or did you let go? ”  -  connor murphy to evan hansen, dear evan hansen. ( idk why this immediately jump to mind but... )

greased lightin’ from grease live ; oh mother by hunter parrish ; nerds by bo burnham ; a miracle would happen / when you come home to me from the last five years ; just another day from next to normal ; who tells your story from hamilton mixtape.
i haven’t listened to any of these in forever, but i am still, indeed, musical theater trash.
personal  aesthetic : demin overalls, scrunchies, the color teal, big stuffed animals. dream  vacation  ? : somewhere beautiful with people i love. dream  job  ? : perhaps like designing custom 3D prosthetics dream  car  ? :  i hate driving, but a big ol’ truck. like suv. big one. favorite  musical : gospell, dear evan hansen, bandstand, newsies, shrek the musical, mamma mia, i could go on... unwatched  stuff  in  your  netflix  /  hulu  /  etc :  sailor moon crystal, crash landing on you, locke & key, all the bright places, the half of it, younger, meteor, hello my twenties ...

it’s meme time
Tumblr media
How long have you been roleplaying? okay so by technical definition I would say since roughly 2010. I started dabbling in it around 2009, when I discovered a forum for people who wrote as Warrior Cat ocs. I had never had any experience and was doing it all wrong probably but I had tons of fun. Then I had a friend who I knew from middle school who had a Peter Pan twitter that was interacting with other characters and was like hey I wanna do that!! From there it went to Starkid’s Draco Malfoy to actual Draco Malfoy to Lily Evans, and I would say that she really started what I would consider rping for me.
What are your hobbies outside of writing? Not...much? I watch youtube videos. I play video games sometimes. Writing has been such an integral part of my life since I was able to string sentences together on a page and it’s something I’ve literally always wanted to do with my life, so even when I’m not writing on tumblr I’m working on my own personal stuff.
Do you have any pets? Tell us about them! I have three! My dog Copper and my cats Minerva and Tinkerbell. Copper we’ve had since Feb 2010 and we adopted him shortly after I finished a trumpet solo district competition. He’s lived in two different states and is ten years old by now. Minerva is five years old, and we got her from a neighbor when her mother’s cat had kittens. She’s not super social and doesn’t like people unless they’re my mom or she’s in heat, but I still love her. Tinkerbell is a year old and is the most adorable demon. One minute she’s on my lap and purring and the next she’s tearing apart the carpeting in front of my bathroom.
If you had a month of free time to learn to do something new, what would you choose? I would like to do something athletic. But I’m the kind of person where I hate not being good at something right away, so it would be a struggle. It’s why I’m not a very athletic person to begin with.  Or something creative that I haven’t tried yet, like knitting or something. But again, not being good at something right away puts me off trying.
Do you listen to music while you write? What are three songs on your playlist? It depends? I get really distracted. Not by the noise, per say, but by the music. I always need to find the perfect song and spend more time thinking about that than about the writing. I do, however, have a playlist dedicated to Dove and Luke’s Christmas engagement that yes, is mostly Frank Sinatra Christmas songs.
What’s a favorite recent youtube video/channel? my Youtube tastes are all over the place tbh. Over the past year my subscription feed has had a complete overhaul. I’ve been watching jacksfilms since high school, but my current faves are GameGrumps, jacksepticeye, Drew Gooden, Kurtis Conner, Danny Gonzales. I also watch a lot of Buzzfeed Unsolved and Dead Meat which is horror based. Plus I am COMPLETELY obsessed with Defunctland (and Defuncttv) and Yesterworld. They’re super informative and interesting if you’re a big nerd for theme parks and Disney history.
Tell us one random fact about you! I used to be a band kid! I did concert band for four years and the rise in band content on tik tok makes me miss it sometimes. I know I wouldn’t be any good anymore since I kept having to do basic beginning things because of the nature of my later band classes and I haven’t really played in ten years and my sister’s boyfriend has my trumpets, but I do miss it.
Who is an FC you’ve always wanted to use but haven’t yet? oof honestly I do not know? I’ve never seen an fc in the distance and thought soon because I always try to take opportunities to play FCs where I can. I would love to play more male fcs though. I’m not good at guys in rp and I really want to try to challenge myself to try one of these days.
What’s a plot you’ve always wanted to write but haven’t yet? this is a tough one! Longevity in rp means that I’ve done tons of plots over the years. As far as fiction rps (not celeb based) I’m interested in doing a Youtber type character, or a washed up celeb character. I write a lot of home grown, townie type characters and I’ve never written someone in that position.
Do you have a favorite plot you’ve seen someone else in the group do I loved the ‘whoops we got married in Vegas’ plot for @evanpeaters and @goodlourd. It’s the perfect kinda slow burn that’s so subtle it’s incredible.
Who on the dash makes you smile? everyoooneee. You’re all so lovely and getting to write with you over the past year and a half has been a privilege.
What is your favorite memory in the group? Again, it’s just been meeting all of the incredible people here. Staying up late and talking and laughing about plots and things when it is way past my bedtime are the parts of rp that I enjoy the most and it’s always so special finding people to bond with in that way. I’ve been in groups where I feel like I’m sitting on the outside so being able to sit within the circle and feel like I’m part of something special where I’ve met some of my closest friends is so nice.
What’s your favorite thing about your celeb(s)? Each of the women I play are equal parts silly and determined. They are able to make fun of themselves and be loose and goofy while still standing up for things that they believe in and opening up about things that they are passionate about. It’s something I hope to emulate in my every day life because I know I take myself far too seriously.
What’s a plot you miss? I kinda miss AJ and Michael, because tbh anything @hqnessa and I write together is pure magic, and it was so unexpected and out of left field that I miss being able to look at the future of that.
What would you love to see this group do in the future? As far as events, I like when there’s different locations besides the usual tropical island. It feels more laid back and I like that kinda vibe

Tag Game
I may have gone a little overboard
(Rules: recommend 5 shows, books, movies, youtubers, and songs)
Tagged by: @stickers-on-a-laptop
Tagging: @starlightinhumanform @insomniacscoffeecup @whoever else because my mind is empty (if u do it tag me I wanna see :0)
SHOWS
Fruits Basket
The first anime I ever watched. Fruits Basket focuses on a teenage girl and her relationship with a family that is under a curse. There is also a manga and the anime is currently being rebooted and is so heckin pretty.
Accel World
Also an anime/light novel series, that takes place in world with very advanced tech and about teens who have access to a program called Brain Burst which can speed up your mind so fast that you can immensely slow down time, but requires you to play this AR fighting game and fighting against other people with e program frequently in order to continue using it.
She-Ra
The animated series that is a reboot of the old She-Ra that I have enjoyed a lot and am really excited for the finale of.
Elfin Lied
I’m talking a lot about anime, whoops? There is also a manga series that I have not read, but it is about these mutants called Diclonii that are highly and motivated to kill humans, and have invisible arms called “vectors” that can very easily be used to kill people. One of the main characters is a Diclonii that hits her head and loses her memory, becoming harmless and befriending two humans. Very gorey show, as a warning.
Tangled: The Series
I haven’t finished this show yet, I’ve only seen 2/3 seasons, but it is a show taking place after the Disney movie Tangled and about what happens to afterwards. There are a lot of really good things about it, I couldn’t tell you I enjoy every episode as sometimes it’s kind of boring, but I still really like it
BOOKS
The Outsiders
An oldie but a goodie, it’s about a group of greasers in the 60’s, mainly a kid named Ponyboy who is being raised by his older brother and ends up in Some Trouble oop. This book is super old and still has like its own tumblr fan base which you gotta give it some credit for. I feel similarly to this books writer as people do to JK Rowling cause she sucks.
Staying Fat for Sarah Byrnes
Book written almost 30 years ago that discusses body image, abuse, religion, and abortion and all that fun stuff, very
The School for Good and Evil
Another series I haven’t caught up with yet, but the first book is by far my favourite. It about two young girls living in a little village who are taken away to this school for good and evil— but uh oh— the girl who thought she was good goes the evil school and visa versa. It’s a really great story, lots of fairy tale themes.
The Mysterious Benedict Society
I haven’t read these books for a while, but I really really loved it. It’s about these children with extraordinary gifts who are recruited by a man named Mr. Benedict to take down a evil institute. Really cute and interesting and,, good.
Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children
Another wonderful book series, that I love to bits. It’s hard for me to describe the first few books because I haven’t read them in a while, but I love the humour of the fourth book which I read more recently and the characters are so good.
MOVIES
The Devil’s Carnival
Three people die and go to “the devil’s carnival” a place that is designed to give them one last chance before deciding whether they should go to heaven or hell. Kind of. It’s a pretty interesting movie, and I would say that it’s my favourite movie, and despite being it being a horror movie it is not very scary. It is also a music, and the original and the movie’s sequel have some great songs
Repo! The Genetic Opera
A film made by many of the people as The Devil’s Carnival, and is also a horror musical. Repo is about a world where surgery is a fashion statement and people are doing all the time just for fun. But Gene Co, the company responsible for all of these surgeries, are sending their hitman after anyone who can’t afford the surgeries they got to take back what was given to them. Also really really good, even if I’m awful at explaining it.
Juno
A movie about a teenager who gets pregnant and plans on letting an older couple adopt her baby. A heckin classic. It’s got Ellen Paige and Michael Cera, and music by Kimya Dawson who is a fav of mine. excellent.
Steven Universe The Movie
I’m a big Steven Universe fan and think the movie is really great and that is all.
YOUTUBERS
helloleesh
Commentary channel who talks a lot about other youtubers. Very nice person who is pleasant to listen to)
Drew Gooden
I really enjoy his humour and have binge watched his stuff several times)
The Rings System
Achannel made by a system that talks a lot about DID/OSDD and who I have found recently. They seem cool!
dangelowallace
Another commentary youtubers, he’s really chill and sarcastic and,, makes good shit
Dear Mr Atheist
A channel that you can probably tell is really religion centric. I don’t watch all of his stuff but he’s made some really really good videos about Christianity and cults and has done some funny stuff to push back against things like the “make america straight again” conference. LGBT+ and super proud of it and supportive of other members of the community.
SONGS
Not giving descriptions for these,,, u should just,,, go experience them
(Picking a Kimya Dawson Song was hard cause I just love her so much lol)
Cult of Dionysus — The Orion Experience
Heart of Brass — Charming Disaster
Circus — Lindsey Mendez
Girl Anachronism — The Dresden Dolls
Being Cool — Kimya Dawson

( drew gooden vc ) hey little stinkers & welcome back to the one and only blog on tumblr. jk it's me rosie and i can’t believe i was talked into this and willingly did it. thanks and come plot w my boy or don’t i love him either way thank you and goodbye. tw for running away, car accident and death.
first things first: he is graysons fraternal twin brother. the two were separated when they were young by the foser care system, and frankly, know nothing besides the fact that they each have a sibling out there.
since he was young, sawyer was always the back of the class kid. he wasn’t called on and barely looked at once. he easily mingled not the crowd and he liked it that way. no one was watching you. no one tried to get to know you. he liked being a fly on the wall ; knowing what was going on without being involved.
he’d bounced around from foster home to foster home, per the system. it wasn’t as many as some other kids, but he’d been in more than he could count on one hand for a multitude of reasons.
eventually, it got old and sawyer wanted out. but where was he going to go? by now he was in one of the bigger cities in the state, so he decided his best bet at 13 was to run away. don’t all kids do something like that at some point? maybe, but sawyer actually stuck to his word.
that same night he ventured into the big city was when he met the person who would become his true best friend and the only person he could consider family: allie. allie then introduced him to what she called her ragtag group of kids. they were a group of runaways who were kind of like a street family.
eventually, allie and sawyer started to grow up. they got jobs and began to move into their own apartment in santa monica. it wasn’t a bad way to live, but it always felt a bit abnormal since he didn’t finish highschool or go to college like most kids his age did.
about a year or two ago, allie confided in him that he was pregnant. the babies father was a one night stand she knew they could raise the baby together ( in a baby daddy-esque type situation ). sawyer knew next to nothing about kids, but this was his best god damn friend. he would rather die than try to help her out.
ten months ago leah marie nillson was born. all seemed well for a while. it wasn’t until ( death tw ) allie was killed in a car accident that sawyer really woke the fuck up and realized that he had to take care of this kid. she wasn’t his, biologically, but he still felt like she was his kid.
realizing that he couldn’t afford living in santa monica any longer, sawyer moved them to halston. it was here that he got a job at tiffany’s as a bartender and is working on getting his ged while taking care of leah.
it’s hard as shit, y’all. he is genuinely so exhausted that it’s gonna kill him i swear
his secret is that he’s looking for his bio family. more specifically, he’s looking for his sibling: gray. it’s starting to piece together the puzzle of where exactly he comes from.
will kill for his daughter. he literally calls her his daughter. he lives and breathes for her
his url is literally so fitting. either ur his best friend or you don’t know him. halstons very own cryptid is here
not very nice. has a tempter like no other. “who we hitting?” is common. prepare for maximum impact to the face
some wc’s maybe ?
roommate: must be kid friendly & 21+, at least in sawyers book. he just needs help splitting rent and bills with somebody.
previous foster siblings: kiddos who were in the same foster homes he was.
friends: sawyers and asshole. love him

LeBron James’ 15 regular seasons, ranked
From Cleveland to Miami and back again, LeBron James’ career has pretty much been one extended peak.
In the course of admiring the incredible 2017-18 season LeBron James is having for the Cleveland Cavaliers, the question of where it ranks among his long string of awesome campaigns arises.
This is a good question! It’s worth trying to objectively assess how LeBron is performing in this, his 15th NBA season, compared to his age-expected peak and the early years of his career. Perhaps we can discover something about the true arc of his career by laying it all out and casting judgment on when he peaked and where he is in relation to that time.
The problem you find when you attempt this, as we have in this piece, is that the dude’s career has been one long peak. LeBron climbed Everest in Year 3 and has been summit hopping the Himalayas ever since.
Nonetheless, we have looked at LeBron’s 15 regular seasons — including the current campaign, which is 28 percent complete — and ranked them. Individual and team performance matters here, albeit with considerations for the talent James had around him during any given season. The playoffs do not matter. Trust me: some of the less spectacular regular seasons (like No. 13 on the list) were completely overshadowed by masterful playoff runs. We’re looking at regular seasons only here.
Let’s get to it. We’re ranking them from least spectacular to the very best.
15. 2003-04, aka The Rookie Season
20.9 points, 5.9 assists, 5.5 rebounds, .488 True Shooting, 35 wins, Rookie of the Year, 9th in MVP voting
LeBron had an excellent rookie season, quickly convincing much of the world he’d be worth the hype. Cleveland was not good, though, and the Cavaliers’ lack of success did hurt LeBron’s early reputation. There were even a couple of years there when reasonable people argued that perhaps Carmelo Anthony (who won a NCAA title and led the Nuggets to playoff trips in his first two seasons) and Dwyane Wade (a college Final Four, a playoff series win as a rookie, and a conference finals trip in Year 2) were winners, and perhaps LeBron was not. Oops.
Note that LeBron appeared on multiple MVP ballots. As a rookie.
14. 2004-05, aka The Sophomore
27.2 points, 7.2 assists, 7.4 rebounds, .554 True Shooting, 42 wins, All-Star, 2 Player of the Month awards, 2nd Team All-NBA, 6th in MVP voting
LeBron’s sophomore year leaped off the page as he learned his strengths and was given the reins fully in Cleveland. He became an All-Star and All-NBA player for the first time — he’s appeared on each team every season since — and became a relatively efficient scorer as he focused on attacking the paint. Cleveland still missed the playoffs, but they finished over .500.
13. 2006-07, aka The Prelude
27.3 points, 6 assists, 6.7 rebounds, .552 True Shooting, 50 wins, All-Star, 1 Player of the Month award, 2nd Team All-NBA, 5th in MVP voting
Let’s skip ahead now to 2006-07, the last time LeBron missed on the first team All-NBA. Statistically and in terms of team performance, this very much looks like it could be a Hall of Fame player’s best season. Instead, it’s LeBron’s third worst individual season. Just unbelievable. This regular season is completely overshadowed by LeBron’s rampage through the Eastern Conference playoffs, which included ending the Pistons as we knew them.
12. 2014-15 aka The Return to Cleveland
25.3 points, 7.4 assists, 6 rebounds, .577 True Shooting, 53 wins, All-Star, 2 Player of the Month awards, 1st Team All-NBA, 3rd in MVP voting
LeBron’s first season back in Cleveland after The Decision II was an odd one as he tried to bring Kyrie Irving along, get Kevin Love in the flow, and deal with David Blatt. An epic playoff run helps us forget that while LeBron was awesome in the regular season (per usual), he had fallen off a bit from where he’d been in Miami.
youtube
11. 2015-16, aka The Vengeance Tour II
25.3 points, 6.8 assists, 7.4 rebounds, .588 True Shooting, 57 wins, All-Star, 3 Player of the Month awards, 1st Team All-NBA, 3rd in MVP voting
LeBron’s next season followed along those lines: the numbers are remarkably similar. You could flip 2015-16 and 2014-15 if you want to mark down LeBron for essentially getting Blatt fired despite being in first place. The fact that the Cavaliers won more games this season and won a title under Tyronn Lue leads me to credit LeBron here.
youtube
Still, note that by the end of the 2015-16 regular season, LeBron was no longer unanimously considered the best player in the world and he’d had at least two (or perhaps three, depending on your view on 2014-15 in Miami) less spectacular seasons in his 30s. It looked like his prime was coming to a close.
Then he went and beat the Warriors for a third championship. Unreal.
10. 2007-08, aka The Shadows
30 points, 7.2 assists, 7.9 rebounds, .568 True Shooting, 45 wins, All-Star, Scoring Title, 2 Player of the Month awards, 1st Team All-NBA, 4th in MVP voting
LeBron has one scoring title to his name, and it came in 2007-08, a season coming off his first Finals appearance. James existed in the shadows this season as much as LeBron ever can. This was the year Kevin Garnett took Boston, the year Kobe Bryant got a superstar partner in Pau Gasol. Cleveland won just 45 games and this is rightly remembered as one of LeBron’s worst supporting casts. Just wild numbers, though! 30-8-7 in that pre-Warriors era was extraordinary.
9. 2016-17, aka Forget Me Not
26.4 points, 8.7 assists, 8.6 rebounds, .619 True Shooting, 51 wins, All-Star, 2 Player of the Month awards, 1st Team All-NBA, 4th in MVP voting
This is last season, an epic I’m Not Done Yet campaign from LeBron. He played a grip of minutes out of necessity and made waves in a two-man MVP race. Coming off of the 2016 championship in which James reminded us he is the best of his generation and perhaps still the best in the world, LeBron tried to prove it night in and night out. I daresay he succeeded. He did this at age 32.
8. 2013-14, aka The Miami Wave
27.1 points, 6.3 assists, 6.9 rebounds, .649 True Shooting, 54 wins, All-Star, 2 Player of the Month awards, 1st Team All-NBA, 2nd Team All-Defense, 2nd in MVP voting
LeBron’s last season in Miami is remembered as a bit sleepy because of how the Spurs punked the Heat right out of the Finals and how odd James’ exit that summer ended up. But this was LeBron’s most efficient scoring season to date, and he was the clear runner-up to Kevin Durant for MVP. It’s also the last season LeBron won All-Defense honors; that’s the one aspect of his game that appears to truly be over at this point.

Just to reiterate: A season in which LeBron averaged 27-7-6 on .649 True Shooting and finished second in MVP voting for a 54-win team is his eighth best season out of 15. This was a middle-of-the-road season. Unreal.
7. 2010-11, aka The Backlash
26.7 points, 7 assists, 7.5 rebounds, .594 True Shooting, 58 wins, All-Star, 3 Player of the Month awards, 1st Team All-NBA, 1st Team All-Defense, 3rd in MVP voting
Reasonable people can disagree as to whether LeBron should have won MVP in 2010-11 — he’d won the previous two, he’d win the next two, and this season was just a tick below those levels — but he definitely should have finished no lower than No. 2. (Dwight Howard probably should have been the MVP; Derrick Rose shouldn’t have been higher than fourth.)
In LeBron’s first season in Miami, he figured out how to play with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh over time to win 58 games and put up the numbers we’d come to expect. Importantly, he didn’t regress on defense in the company of big stars: he kept his nose to the grindstone.
6. 2005-06, aka Up To Something
31.4 points, 6.6 assists, 7 rebounds, .568 True Shooting, 50 wins, All-Star, 2 Player of the Month awards, 1st Team All-NBA, 2nd in MVP voting
I still dream about this season. In LeBron’s third campaign, he proved that the hype was legit and, in my book, became the best player in the world over Kobe Bryant. This happened with a weak Cavaliers supporting cast and in Mike Brown’s first season. This LeBron season made Mike Brown’s career! (Brown is a good coach who gets a bad rap, in my book.)
LeBron was 21 and became arguably the best basketball player in the world. This, not 2010-11, is the MVP that was truly stolen from LeBron. Those numbers for a 50-win team with that roster — the five non-LeBron players who had 2,000 minutes were a 30-year-old Zydrunas Ilgauskas, a 32-year-old Eric Snow, Drew Gooden, Damon Jones, and a 32-year-old Donyell Marshall — beats Steve Nash surviving Amare Stoudemire’s microfracture season.
5. 2011-12, aka The Vengeance Tour I
27.1 points, 6.2 assists, 7.9 rebounds, .605 True Shooting, 46 wins (in 66 games), NBA MVP, All-Star, 2 Player of the Month awards, 1st Team All-NBA, 1st Team All-Defense
LeBron’s second season in Miami brought the Heat into full villain mode. Instead of being confused and a bit hurt that so many people were angry about The Decision, and reacting to the embarrassing and weird Finals loss to Dallas, LeBron and company leaned in and just started punking teams. That was an odd season due to the lockout, and it was capped with LeBron’s first title. It also made LeBron the MVP again, and rightfully so.
4. 2017-18, aka Still The Greatest aka The Vengeance Tour III aka G.O.A.T. Alert
Through 23 games: 28.3 points, 8.7 assists, 7.9 rebounds, .663 True Shooting, 1 Player of the Month award
This is what we’re watching right now. What LeBron is doing right now is better than all those other incredible seasons — including an MVP season — we’ve discussed. He’s at or awful near career highs in all the counting stats, and shooting more efficiently than ever. His defense is not what it once was — that is what drops him a bit — but, if not for James Harden’s masterpiece, he’d be the current favorite for the MVP.

He turns 33 in a month.
We are witnessing greatness like we have rarely and possibly never seen in this sport. Right now. Three nights a week. Cherish it.
3. 2008-09, aka The First MVP
28.4 points, 7.2 assists, 7.6 rebounds, .591 True Shooting, 66 wins, NBA MVP, All-Star, 4 Player of the Month awards, 1st Team All-NBA, 1st Team All-Defense
My heavens, what a season this was. After a reborn Boston ejected him from the playoffs the prior spring, LeBron emphatically won the MVP and asserted that despite not having a top-line supporting cast, he would continue to be a massive problem. This was also the season LeBron reached elite scoring efficiency, especially for a high-volume scorer. LeBron also landed on the All-Defense team for the first time.
This almost grabbed the No. 2 spot on this list due to the 66 wins, the defensive growth, the four Player of the Month awards (out of six months). But he was even better the next season.
2. 2009-10, aka Back to Back
29.7 points, 8.6 assists, 7.3 rebounds, .604 True Shooting, 61 wins, NBA MVP, All-Star, 4 Player of the Month awards, 1st Team All-NBA, 1st Team All-Defense
When folks try to claim that LeBron didn’t become the best basketball player in the world until 2011 or 2012 because he trailed Kobe, I ask them to go check out the 2008-09 and 2009-10 seasons. I mean, look at this: 30-8-7 with elite efficiency for a 61-win team with all-league defense. This is still one of the five greatest individual seasons I’ve ever watched. Dude made Anthony Parker, a 37-year-old Shaq, a 33-year-old Antawn Jamison, and freaking J.J. Hickson winning NBA players. And he did it with aplomb!
1. 2012-13, aka The One True King
26.8 points, 7.3 assists, 8 rebounds, .640 True Shooting, 66 wins, NBA MVP, All-Star, 5 Player of the Month awards, 1st Team All-NBA, 1st Team All-Defense
The single greatest individual season I have seen since Jordan in 1995-96. This is when the Heatles truly became the Flying Death Machine. 27-8-7 on all-timer efficiency with all-league defense for a 66-win team. If 2008 through 2010 were LeBron taking a mediocre roster to crazy heights, this season was LeBron turning an excellent team into futuristic hellion.

LeBron was one Carmelo Anthony vote from being the first unanimous MVP in NBA history. (Steph Curry ended up with that honor a few years later.) Carmelo also won Eastern Conference Player of the Month in April, robbing LeBron of a clean 6-month sweep of the award.
Dywane Wade and Chris Bosh were on this team, and put up numbers. And LeBron was still that damn dominant.
LeBron won’t reach these heights again because, frankly, it may be a decade or three before any player reaches these heights again.
