Your friends had been telling you about this art museum in town. However you never really much cared for art but you were tired of hearing them so you agreed to check it out that weekend. You got up that Saturday morning and didn't go all out on your makeup or clothing, just comfy jeans and nice shirt, some eyeliner and lip gloss and go. Its not like you planned on picking someone up in a art gallery that is the last place you would think to do that. So you get there and you are surprised how so many people are into art and you keep hearing people talk about this Rafayel guy who is supposed to be the main artist in todays gallery. You tried to find anywhere on the pamphlet you grabbed when you came in for a last name but you thought guess he is so popular he doesn't need a last name like the singer Prince. This made you laugh cause at least he isn't just a symbol.

You look over the pamphlet and go from each art piece to the next based on what it says about each of them. There wasn't much standing out to you til you got to this mural on the wall of the depths of the ocean. It had fish, dolphins, whales and merfolk in it and you were drawn to this piece like no other. So many had passed this one by but this was it, this piece talked to you. The thought of merfolk as a kid interested you like no other and whales and dolphins are some of your favorite creatures. You were taking it all in when you heard a voice "That is one of my favorites as well." You quickly wiped the tears that were trickling in your eyes away then look back at this man. He was so handsome, the purple hair casting a slight shadow across his face, his purple mix tented eyes were captivating, his skin looked soft and silky with a creamy tone, he was tall and had broad shoulders and absolutely the most beautiful man you had ever seen in your life. For the first time you felt like you believed in love at first sight. You were caught up in his looks you found your eyes settling on his soft plush lips that looked like they were so kissable.

He cleared his throat and you snapped out of it, you fumbled dropping the pamphlet. "Um yeah I think I love you too.. I mean I love it too.." You were so embarrassed your words were gone, your mind couldn't think about anything but him which caused you to mess up what you were saying, you sighed. He chuckled "Your cute, whats your name?" You smile and your face is own fire at the way he is looking at you, you're now questioning if you even remember your name. You push through and you catch his gaze, your cheeks still flushed "My, name is Y/N what about you?" He smiles at you then turns and walks away, you are so shook, what just happened. You were sure you messed it up with the fumble of your words, your eyes direct back to the painting and sigh.

About that time he walks back over to you holding a picture frame in his hand which left you curious. He turned it around and it was a picture of him then underneath it said his name Rafayel, then he pointed to the painting the plaque on the wall under the painting said the same. "Oh! Oh my god! Your.....H-him?!?" He smiles and nods "Thats right, but you, are the first to take alot of notice in this one picture and I am curious why. Do you have plans after this?" You couldn't believe he was standing right here in front of you, he was someone famous and you surely weren't drop dead gorgeous yet he wants to take you out and talk. Then you started wondering is it just cause the picture or is he actually interested in you. "N-no..." He chuckles, then reaches for your hand and pulls you with him. You gladly follow along not sure why, but you know your heart is beating so loudly you are sure he can hear it.

He walks you out the back door and walks you out towards the open beach that lays behind the art gallery. You are trying to keep up he is walking much faster than you yet still holding your hand. As you reach the waters edge he looks back at you as he releases your hand. "What does the ocean mean to you, the creatures in it?" He says with a more serious tone to it as he looks out in to the blue sea. Your not sure what he wants but you tell him about your love of the ocean and the sea creatures in it. He is now looking at you with such fascination yet doesn't say anything. You are hesitant on the last part thinking he might think your crazy..."Also merfolk I have been in love with the idea they exist since I was a little girl. So when I look out at the ocean I hope that deep down they do and your art made me feel like that hopeful little girl again." His face softly flushed pink, his ears had a tint of red to them to. He was embarrassed like he had some secret he wanted to tell you but wasn't sure how too.

"I'm going to trust you, because some reason I feel like I can." His words were shaky as he pulled out his hand blowing into and little blue fish swam around in thin air. You were so captivated by this magic you couldn't take your eyes off it and when you went touch, it faded. "W-What...was that?" He could see as you asked the curiosity and dreamy look in your eyes flickered. He took your hand and walked you towards the ocean as you walked further out you were starting to get scared. He could feel you start to tremble he turned back giving you a big hug and whispering in your ear "Trust me I will protect you, I just want to show you the world you have dreamed of does exist."

You let you heart rate relax as he said these words, you were going to trust him and you just didn't understand its like the moment you laid eyes on him it was like your heart was home, like it had found the missing half of your puzzle however you knew nothing about him and this all surprised you. Right now you were following a strange man you met over a hour ago into the ocean where you can't even swim, this could be the last day you breathe on earth yet your following him blindly. You realize love at first sight is blinder than you could imagine. As you get to where the water is about to go over your head, he is still holding you close as he looks at you and his eyes light up a beautiful bright blue. You are so alarmed by this but you never pull away because even though he has some kind of magic he is still holding you tight preventing you from falling.

He looks at you smiling with those pretty illuminated eyes staring back at you, now you find your smiling back at him. "Ready for the best part?" He says with a playful sound to his voice, you nod yes and he takes you into his arms picking you up as you look up at him he leans in and kisses your lips softly. You weren't expecting this but you kiss him back, then you realized he wasn't making out with you he was doing it to help you breathe. When he pulled away after a moment he chuckled, "There will be plenty of time for kisses, I promise." You were embarrassed that you thought he was trying to make out with you. Your face felt like it was on fire and you were sure your cheeks were probably really red by now. He plunges under the water and you go to gasp and no sooner you get under the water you realize your not drowning, you can breathe under the water yet your confused why.

You reach up touching your lips as you look at him his glowing eyes looking back you. You notice scale like area on the back of his neck such a sparkly blue, when your eyes finally look down. You see the most beautiful fanned out mer tail and you gasp. Then look back in his eyes "Wow...Your beautiful!" He smiled at her as he swayed his tail back and fourth keeping them in the same area. He held you close to him as he began to swim across the ocean bottom, you saw schools of fish flipping by, coral reefs lined the bottom area near rocks and tropical looking plants. The water made everything practically shimmer down below. You were so mesmerized how this world you hoped for so long existed and he showed you a world you only dreamed of. He eventually took you back to the beach and soon as he switched back to human his eyes flipped back to normal as well.

Once you were back standing in front of him on the ocean sand you look up at him and reach out for his hand. He meets you pulling you close to him. "Is this real? Are you real?" You had to ask because this seemed like some kind of fairy tale there was no way it was all real. "It is real, I am a merman. I am trusting you to keep that secret, but I want to see you again. Is that ok?" You were shocked by his request you wanted to see him again in and out of the water, you wanted to run away with him at this point but you didn't dare tell him that you didn't want to scare him. You nodded "Yes I want to see you again too. Can we go on a date maybe tomorrow?" You were surprised you were able to get that out and he smiled at you with the brightest smile you would ever see. "We will meet here at 3pm then, for now I have to go. Thank you for today, Y/N." As you waved goodbye you watched him walk to the gallery and back inside. You stood there flushed in the face, still soaking wet. You were excited to see what tomorrow would bring.

Fluffruary Day 2: First Date

Ravio bounced on his toes as he waited by the front door. He could hardly contain his excitement — today was the day they were going on their first real date!

He and Link had been partners for a few months now (and how his heart sang whenever he thought that word!) but they hadn’t done anything really romantic in that time. He didn’t mind; the two of them had talked about it and agreed neither of them really felt the need to change an already comfortable dynamic. Sure, they’d had their first kiss a few weeks ago — his chest felt warm whenever he thought about it — and they’d done a few things that could be considered dates, like going to the market together, but this was their first planned outing.

They weren’t going to do anything big, just go for a walk around town, maybe stop at the new bakery, but Ravio was excited for it nonetheless.

He’d gotten ready early and spent the extra time doing some cleaning here and there; just small things to pass the time. Now he was just waiting on Link. He hummed for a minute before frowning. Where was bun?

“Link? Is everything alright?”

There was no answer. Ravio bit his lip and started towards the stairs. It was likely bun had started overthinking things and sent bunself into a spiral again. The two of them had been trying to break that habit of buns for a while now, though Link’s anxiety made it difficult.

He’d almost reached the stairs when there was a loud squeak and rushing footsteps. Link came hurrying downstairs, apologies spilling from buns lips. Ravio caught bun before bun could trip, pressing a quick kiss to buns nose.

“Hey, hey, it’s alright! I was just worried you’d gotten caught up in your own head again.” Link glanced away, looking guilty. Ravio nuzzled bun reassuringly. “I’m not mad, bunny, I promise. Now, since you’re here, what do you say we head into town and find that bakery you were telling me about?”

His partner brightened and nodded, grabbing his hand to tug him out the door. Ravio laughed and hurried to catch up as the two of them started down the path.

The day was bright but not hot, perfect for walking. Link’s skirt flowed around buns legs, a pretty blue-green that had made buns eyes light up when bun saw the fabric. Ravio had bought it as soon as bun turned away; the price was worth the look on his partner’s face when Link realized.

They made it to town fairly quickly and began strolling along the streets. Neither of them were in a hurry, content to wander until something caught their eyes.

Somewhere along the way, Ravio began humming, some tune he’d heard while in the market one day. Link swung their joined hands and squeaked happily, doing little hop-steps as they crossed the cobblestone.

Eventually they made it to the bakery. Thankfully it wasn’t too busy, and the duo made it to the counter fairly easily. Rows of confections met their eyes, warm and fresh.

They ended up getting two each, after a moment of panic where Link’s choice paralysis reared it’s head. Afterwards, they retreated outside to a bench to enjoy their treats. Link leaned against Ravio as they ate, resting buns head on his shoulder with a content sound. He copied bun, leaning back against the bench with his head over buns.

They stayed like that for a time, happy to soak up the sun and the other’s company.

As afternoon melted into evening, they took to the streets again, enjoying the ambiance of the town for a little longer before turning their feet in the direction of home, hands clasped and hearts light.

“Ravi,” Link started as they neared the house, voice soft. When he glanced over, buns cheeks were flushed lightly as a small, joyful smile played on buns lips. “Today was... really nice. ‘m glad we did this.”

“Me too, bunny. Thank you for coming out with me today.”

Once they were inside they removed their shoes before momentarily separating, Ravio to light the fire and Link to gather blankets and pillows to pile on the couch. They rejoined and took a moment to get comfortable on the couch, lightly jostling each other and giggling all the way.

“I think I’d like to do this again... What do you think, love?” Ravio asked his partner as they curled up together, Link tucked to his chest. Bun nodded before yawning, face scrunching in a way Ravio couldn’t help but find adorable. “Maybe next time we can find a nice spot overlooking town and have a picnic.” He pressed a kiss to soft strawberry blonde, humming quietly.

Link purred and nuzzled closer, content.

Day 3: Cozy Shelter

The Chain end up trapped inside the Snowpeak Ruins during a blizzard.

The portal appeared under their feet. It was a good thing they hadn’t actually set up the camp quite yet, but they proceeded to land in the middle of a blizzard.

“Oh, what the fuck!” Wind yelled into the snow.

“LANGUAGE!” Warriors yelled back at Wind. “Regardless, does anyone know who’s time we’re in?”

“Pretty sure it’s mine,” said Twilight. “If we are where I think we are, Snowpeak ruins is less than ten minutes away, even in this blizzard.”

“Lead the way then,” stated Time.

Everyone had gotten settled nicely, despite Legend complaining when Twilight said that they were actually about 5 minutes farther away than he thought at first. Yeto and Yeta were delighted to see the heroes again, and Yeto promptly started some soup on the fire for all nine of them.

“Some” soup might have been an understatement. Wild remembered to request the recipe for it this time, and made sure to store notes in the Slate.

Everyone got comfortable after a few minutes, and despite the blizzard outside, everyone was cozy.

“I don’t think we’re going anywhere with that blizzard at our backs,” said Time.

“Given the fact that I didn’t need to vomit, I think Hylia was the one who dropped that portal. I wonder if the fact that we were so far away from here was simply  a matter of inaccuracy without one of us on the other side of the portal to track it,” Four wondered aloud.

“Does it really matter?” Hyrule asked drowsily.

“No, I suppose it doesn’t. Just something to think about.”

Its morning time your waking up remembering the wonderful time you had with Rafayel yesterday and you really hope it wasn't some dream. He showed you such beauty underwater and how he shimmered as well as his tail it was just such a breath taking sight. You plundered through your closet trying to figure out what to wear on this date today. This was your first date with him and you wanted it to be special. You ended up settling on a light blue dress was slightly low cut in the front but not over doing it for a first date and all. It fell nicely over your figure and draped across your legs right above your knees. You were sure this is the one to catch his eye, so you moved on to putting your hair half up and half down in a more romantic look to it. Last step was putting on some sandals and putting on the touches of your make up mainly to make your eyes pop. You were ready its 2pm and you still had a hour to go. You wondered what he might have planned for your date, then you got to thinking what if he thought you were going to do something since you actually asked. Then things in your mind had you anxious if nothing but to make up back up plans just in case he didn't plan anything. You sit down at your laptop with a few clicks you found some fun first date ideas to do around town.

First link you pulled up mentioned skydiving, you shook your head and said to yourself in a soft mumble "Thats a no!" Then you saw this couples only ferris wheel that overlooked the city it looked so romantic and it comes with a firework show. You continued looking and saw the local aquarium as well since you both love aquatic animals, you were sure both of these and eat out somewhere would be the perfect fall back you were now ready to go. You look at your phone and you spent 45 minutes looking that up so you rushed out the door drive down to the beach. When you get there you make sure one last time that you were ready for this, you were so nervous been awhile since you been out with any guy especially a first date which is pretty big. You headed towards the beach behind the art gallery and as you walk further down the beach you see him standing at the waters edge with his feet in the water. You were so excited to see him, you found yourself yelling over to him and waving. He smiled as he saw you and started walking towards you as well.

You catch up over in front of him and then you both stop like there was this invisible wall between you, then the nerves set in full on now. You meek out a soft "Hello" He chuckles as he watches you get all flustered he reaches out taking your hand and pulling you closer to him because you are way too far away, and he likes you super close. You looked up at him still blushing as he leans in giving you a soft kiss before pulling away. "Hey Darling, so are you ready for our date today? I have been so excited I stayed up all night looking at places." He was so excited and you were actually quiet happy that its a guy who wants to date you so much that he took the initiative to plan out a sweet date. "Yes I am, what are we doing and where?" You were amazed when he mentioned the same aquarium you had looked at then the firework show in the ferris wheel, its like your minds were insync. However his dinner part was at his house and he was going to cook for you, this you didn't see coming.

You sound shocked "Y-you cook?" He started laughing you weren't sure at that point if he was serious or not. He softly grazed your cheek "Yes I cook, you can help me in the kitchen tonight. That is if you want to." You nod yes the idea of a man wants to cook for you when your last few boyfriends wouldn't lift a pan let alone cook with it. You couldn't wait to get this date started he reached down grabbing your hand and lacing his fingers between yours, you look up and he is smiling at you with that charming smile that takes your breath away. You follow him lucky the aquarium is only a few blocks from his art gallery, you two walk holding hands enjoying the scenery just talking about anything and everything and nothing all wrapped into one. He is so easy going you love talking to him. You get to the aquarium and its much larger than you thought it would be yet the parking lot is empty. You look to Rafayel "Is it even open?" He says nothing and pulls you towards the building as you get to the entrance the person at the door opens it up lets you two in, then you see them lock the door behind you two.

"H-how di....." He put his fingers to your lips as you started to speak. "Shhh.... Before you say anything I want you to see something special." You followed along as he walked you down a dark corridor until you walked into a room with aquariums all around you and the light from them flickering across the room. There was a stack of pillows laid in the middle of the floor and the aquarium tanks illuminating the walls with water effect. It was so romantic you had never seen anything so beautiful on land, yes it didn't compare to under the ocean however its like he brought that to you right there. He walks you over to the pillows sits down pulling you down onto his lap. He wraps his arms around you as he lets you lean back into his chest. Your able to get a good view of the beautiful fish and the reflective lighting shining across the room. "Just wow Raffy this is so beautiful... and romantic." You let the nickname you had been calling him in your head this whole time slip out and he gave you a smirk after you said it. "Raffy, huh? Already calling me pet names darling?" The way he called you darling made your heart beat so fast now.

You blushed with his words "Well it just seemed like something cute to call you, I mean in my head I been thinking about how I would call you my Raffy at some point." He chuckles "Oh its not just Raffy anymore its your Raffy... I could get used to the sound of being yours." You meet his gaze blushing hardcore not sure what to say from there. You two don't say anything for a bit just snuggle and take in how beautiful it is. Your so at peace in his arms and you honestly feel like you have known him forever, it doesn't take long for you to fall asleep against his chest as you hear his heart beat. After a small nap you wake up to him running his fingers through your hair softly, its so soothing. You look up at him he is still looking ahead at the aquariums you don't even know that he knows your awake. You softly mumble under your breath "I'm so falling for you, my sweet Raffy." He smiles looking down at you, that is when you wonder if he heard you. Your face instantly goes red and then you hear those sweet words your heart longed for. "I'm falling for you too, darling."

Your heart feels so full as he leans down kissing you on the forehead he gives you a smile then kisses your lips. You felt so content with him he had become your everything in just a short period of time. This was the best first date you had ever had. After awhile longer staying there it was nightfall outside he wanted to head to the ferris wheel so you two wouldn't miss the fireworks. After you leave there as you get to the ferris wheel there is a line of people but because Rafayel is well known everyone lets you and him go on ahead of the line. You step on with him holding your hand as the basket starts to ascend he has his arms wrapped around you. He clears his throat and looks in your eyes as he speaks. "So I know in your world everything that has happened with us so fast is frowned upon. From Lumeria once we meet the one that is our life mate we know instantly so waiting to say I love you, and get married, have kids, and so on nothing has a time line on it. If that makes sense which I hope it does. That being said I wanted to tell you this now because what will be happening soon I don't want you to be scared by human customs and know that Lumerian customs are a stronger bond to our words."

You weren't even sure what made him tell you all this however you let him talk to his hearts content, it made you feel cared for and since you were falling for him he could tell you anything at this point and you would be happy. The fireworks start shooting off he makes sure his arms are wrapped around you tight. As you watch you see this set of fireworks going off and it plainly says "Will You Marry Me, Y/N!" This was a dream it had to be you went to look over when you felt him pull away from you and he was now down on one knee with a box with a lumerian stone in the ring. You were in such awe and yet in such a beautiful daze at what was going on. His words rang loud and clear "Promise me as I will promise you, no matter if its a thousand years your mine and I'm yours. Promise you will never leave you will stay by my side forever. Be my wife from this day onwards?" He took the ring from the box and put it at the edge of your finger as he awaited your answer. It was so cute when your eyes met he actually looked nervous asking you there was no way you were going to turn this down because laying against his chest you slept way better anyways. He led you to the bedroom and as a freshly engaged couple he spent the next few hours making you know how much he wanted to not only satisfy you but make you happy in every way forever. You have been friends with Oushi for years you met in middle school and you had been close since. You were sure he turned to you because his childhood friend got sent off to deaf school but you were happy to be there for him. He would only talk about her from time to time but you hoped eventually he would think of you like you know he thinks of her. Its not hard to see he has been in love with her his whole life. One day you decide you want things to change you are tired of being just his friend, you have been in love with him for years. He has such a good heart and the first time you saw him help a deaf person your heart fell for him then. His looks he doesn't think he is all that but he is dreamy in your eyes. If he could only see himself through your eyes he would understand falling for him would be easy.

You happened to see him in the hallway and you were so happy to run up to him as you see him looking over the balcony at your college your not sure yet what he was looking at. Then as soon as you get to him you look down and realize its some girl, you see him starting to sign for her. You feel your heart sink.... could this be his childhood friend. You weren't sure what this meant for you being with him now if she is now going to the same college and she seemed to be with some guy your mind was trying to figure out what this would mean. You stop steps away from him and turn away looking down at the ground. He notices you as you go walking away and he hollers to you. "Oi where are you going?" You turn back to him and your met with his beautiful green eyes. Looking in his eyes captivate you and your thoughts wonder to if you you were enough for him but you feel like with her back now makes you not even close to being enough now. You give him a shrug to your shoulders.

He looks down then catches up to you as he gets close he grabs for your hand and clasps it in his. Your heart felt like it was going to stop, you didn't understand why he was doing it but it didn't matter you always wanted to be close to him yet seems like only nature believes there is something there that needs a push. His expression didn't change as you two walked silently to the end of the hallway. You thought maybe he just needs quiet company tonight, its not like you both haven't gotten together before and just watched a movie and said nothing and you were starting to think he needed it again. Just maybe it will help him get past how he is feeling and let you in. You speak up "Come over to my house we will have a movie night, how does that sound?" He looked up at you and for the first time he looked sad, it made your heart hurt. You found yourself moving your hand so fluidly up to his cheek staring into his sad eyes. You couldn't speak but yet you wanted him to not feel alone even in how he feels.

He didn't push you away and you were grateful as you led him to your car holding his hand still. You walked him into getting in the car then you got in the driver seat. He had already put his seatbelt on and was looking out the window, you could still feel his sadness. You quietly drove to your house, you knew your heart had pined for him so long you never thought how much he must have pined for her, and maybe seeing her with another guy was hurting him more than he could say. You want to be the person he needed in this moment, he had been there for you in past relationship breakups so you wanted to be there for him. Hopefully in time you would be enough for him and he will move on from her to be with you. This whole situation you couldn't figure out why someone would choose someone over him.

That evening you two watched a movie that he had wanted to see. Instead he was sad enough that he leaned into your arms as you held him all night. Your heart hurt and wanted to burst at the same time. Having the feel of his warmth against you all night was a blessing however you knew he was thinking of her and not you, thats the part that hurts. You woke the next morning him still in your arms, you look down and see how innocent he looked. You couldn't fight it anymore you leaned in softly kissing his lips as you see his eyes flutter open he just stares at you as he realizes whats happening. He never kisses back, this broke you, as you pulled back he sat up stunned by what just happened. His words that didn't come scared you because he grabbed his coat and ran out the door without saying anything at all. You slouched back on the couch realizing you may have messed things up by just wanting to be close to him, this may end up pushing him away instead.

You sent him text after text all day and you saw he had read them all but never responded. No matter if you tried to play it off or you apologized neither got him to say anything to you. After most the day going by you decided to go to his house to get the bottom of it all, if your friendship was even salvageable. As you get to his house you see him signing in the middle of road to that girl. He seems angry as he talks to her, you never had a reason to learn sign language so you had no idea what he was saying to her but it did seem like an argument. You wanted him to know you were still there for him even if you made it weird for him. As she runs off and you could see his anger was there along with the pain deep down. You grab his hand sliding your fingers through his and giving it a squeeze, then he looked over at you. He didn't pull away this time he squeezed your hand tighter. "Oushi, can we talk about earlier..?" He looked at you hearing your words he shook his head "Just give me some time, then we can." He looked down at your hand squeezing it tighter "But don't go far I do need you, and I'am grateful your here with me."

You understood but the fact he still wanted you there meant the world to you. You walked him back to his place and his mother wasn't home. He walked you directly to his room which you had only been in a few times since most times it was him at your house hardly ever you at his, well not since you two were young at least. You weren't questioning it though you just wanted to be there for him so you would follow him anywhere. He walked you over to his bed and motioned for you to get in. You crawled into his bed up against the wall and he followed behind pulling the covers up on you both as he leaned his head on your arm. You reached down softly petting his head and you could tell with his soft sigh that you were comforting him. His words rang loud and clear "I'm sorry I didn't react this morning to the kiss well." He sighed again and you could tell this was weighing on his heart and how he felt as he continued. "Its just I have never been with anyone, Yuki was always the one I thought I would be with so I waited." He sighed again as you ran your fingers through his hair comforting him letting him know you are right there he could tell you anything.

You decided to speak up, you took a deep breath "I understand, I know I'm not her... but I have known you a long time. I'm always there for you as you are for me. I know she was your first love, but she has lived her life separate from you but I have lived my life along side of yours." You couldn't believe you were telling him everything hoping that he wouldn't hate you for being so open. Your voice broke as you continued "What I'm saying is I will always be there for you, because I'm in love with you and have been since middle school." Soon as you said that he looked up at you and for the first time his eyes didn't seem so sad. He sat up leaned in and kissed your lips, you weren't sure why but he was kissing you not you kissing him but he was really giving you that intimacy that you dreamed of and your heart felt like it was going to stop. You kissed him back with so much passion and love as you felt his arms pull you in to him closer. It wasn't hard to get lost in those kisses from him. After sometime he eventually broke away but those moments felt like forever yet still gone too soon.

"I feel like maybe I have been in love with you longer than today. That kiss stirred feelings in me about you that I guess was clouded on how I waited for something with Yuki that was never going to happen. But knowing you are in love with me, seems right you are my best friend. Can you ever forgive me from pulling away from you, from making you feel second best to her. You are anything but second best." Your heart was surely going to bust with his words, he had been in love with you yet just didn't realize it. Now your thoughts go back to the fact that means he noticed all you had done for him. How many times he was there for you as you were for him. It only made sense you two should be together. Anyways she seemed irritated when Oushi was fighting with her in the street when you and him had never fought once.

His words rang loud in clear and lived rent free in your head after he spoke them "Its always been you, and if you will have me even in my stupidity for taking so long. I want you to be my girlfriend, I want to have a life with the best friend who has always sheltered my heart. Last night being in your arms I felt safer than I have in my whole life and I know it has to be you, it has to be you that I should and want to be with." You giggled at his request then nodded "Of course I want you I have always wanted you, I will be here for you forever, even when you don't feel like saying anything you can still have my silent love or spoken either way you will always have me, I love you." He smiled at you as he heard those words "I love you too." You closed your eyes and this time you laid in his arms the rest of the night. It wasn't about you keeping him safe but this time he made you feel like it was safe to give him your everything and you looked forward to what this would mean for your future.

Fluffruary Day 4: Ice Skating

Hyrule wobbles, throwing their arms out in a desperate bid for balance. The action nearly sends them toppling backwards and fae shrieks as fae windmills faer arms wildly, trying to stay upright. It works- if only just.

They hear laughter from behind them and glance back, pouting, to see Wind grinning widely.

Breeze glides over to Hyrule’s side and offers an arm. “C’mon, Rule, I’ll show you how it’s done.”

Fae sticks faer tongue out at breeze even as fae takes the offered arm. “I’d be surprised if you did. I know there’s no ice where you come from.”

“True, but it doesn’t mean I can’t learn elsewhere. Who says the Captain didn’t teach me?” The two of them are inching along now, and there’s a small part of Hyrule that’s pleased to see that Wind is almost as wobbly as they are, despite breezes confidence.

“I call bullshit.” Wind gasps in delighted shock at the swear. “There’s no way the Captain knows how to ice skate. He’d take two steps onto the ice and fall flat on his ass.”

Wind cackles at that and almost tips the both of them over for it. Hyrule shrieks again and tightens faer grip on breezes arm.

They manage a few more passes around the frozen pond before Hyrule’s shivering too badly to continue. Both of them are, really, but Wind’s too stubborn to admit it. Hyrule is not, and all-but drags their brother off the ice to warm up.

Thankfully it’s not long before they’re both skate-less, bundled up and clutching mugs of Legend’s famous hot cider. The Vet had taken one look at them and immediately began fussing, pulling them over to the roaring fireplace and stripping them of their coats and other winter gear, replacing them with thick, soft blankets. The cider followed soon after.

Wind sighs, sinking deeper into the nest of blankets as breeze soaks in the heat, shivering finally abating. Hyrule snickers from their own blanket nest and breezes head snaps up to glare half-heartedly at them.

“I knew you were cold, you liar,” fae teases. Wind is too cozy to do more than stick breezes tongue out in response. Hyrule only laughs louder.

Fluffruary Day 3: Cozy Shelter

Rain pattered on the roof of the house on the hill, a constant droning that was nonetheless soothing in its constancy. The world outside was dark and grey, the sky filled with heavy clouds that hung low over the land.

The occupants of the house took little notice of this. Compared to the chilly grey of the outdoors, the inside was warm and inviting; the windows glowed with firelight and pillows and blankets covered every spare surface of the already-cramped living room. Steam rose from matching mugs sitting on a worn coffee table.

Cuddled together on the couch, wrapped snugly in several thick blankets and quilts, lay the residents of the house. Strawberry-blonde mixed with dark curls as the two watched the rain fall from the cozy warmth of their nest.

Link gave a content sigh, shifting to lay buns head on buns partner’s shoulder. Thick arms came to wrap around buns thinner shoulders, pulling bun closer to a broad, padded chest.

Bun had never really liked the rain, the weather too associated with bad memories for bun to enjoy it. However, here at home with Ravio, safe and comfortable, Link found that maybe the rain didn’t always have to be so bad.

Fluffuary Day 1: First Sight Best Friends

Something about Zora’s Domain always made Link feel calmer, settled, safe. Perhaps it was the architecture, with it’s soothing blues and sweeping shapes. Perhaps it was the ever-constant sound of water, providing a calming backdrop to any conversation.

Or perhaps it was the people, always welcoming and kind (at least, after he had saved Vah Rutah). The Zora never turned him away, always made sure he was doing well in whatever ways they could- whether that was providing a safe place to sleep, supplies, or simply company. He always enjoyed his visits to the Domain.

There was one person there, however, who Link looked forward to seeing more than anyone else.

Sidon, Prince of the Zora, but most importantly, Link’s best friend in the whole of Hyrule. It had been difficult to truly connect with anyone after he’d awoken, and though he was friendly enough with just about anyone he came across, Link had had trouble actually getting close with those around him; even Beedle, the amiable traveling merchant.

And then Sidon had appeared - with his larger-than-life personality and unwavering trust and belief in Link, the Prince had easily found his way past Link’s defenses.

And Link, to his surprise, had let him.

That support had remained even after Link had freed the Divine Beasts and defeated the Calamity for good. Sidon always made sure Link was doing alright, that Link had what he needed, and that Link knew he was always available if the Hero needed to talk or even just a moment to himself.

Slowly but surely, Link had come to see the other as a friend. He tried his best to reciprocate the trust and care that Sidon poured into him with every visit, and his chest filled with warmth whenever Sidon sent him an appreciative smile for his efforts.

It was easy to be himself around Sidon, even though he was still discovering what ‘himself’ meant. The zora was always willing to lend a listening ear (or eye, if Link preferred to sign). In return, the Hero did his best to do the same, as well as offer to help him sneak away for a quick adventure when the stresses of court life got to be too much.

Gallivanting around the Domain and racing through the waters together never failed to bring a smile to his face, especially when Sidon would laugh his booming laugh and smile at Link like living sunshine.

He always found himself smiling back.

Fluffruary Day 6: Small Gestures

Link went to push bunself out of bed only to hiss at a sudden burning in buns shoulders at the movement. Bun dropped back down and groaned; today was going to be one of those days, then.

Bun lay there for a few minutes, trying to will bunself to move, before the door creaked open and soft footsteps approached buns side of the bed.

“Good morning, honeybee,” Ravio’s voice was hushed and Link found bunself grateful for it. “I figured you probably weren’t feeling well today, so I made you some tea.”

He helped Link sit up after placing the tea on the nightstand, rearranging the pillows so bun was able to lean back without too much discomfort. Bun took the mug he held out with slightly shaking hands.

“Huh-how did you know-?” Buns voice was hoarse and bun winced, sipping at the tea. A sigh escaped thin lips as the heat of the drink began to soothe away the ache.

“You were grimacing in your sleep, dear.”

“O-oh.” Link shifted and had to bite buns lip at the spike of pain it sent from buns hip up buns spine. “...Thanks.”

“It’s no problem, bunny.” Ravio bent to press a kiss to his partner’s forehead, smiling at the quiet, rusty purr it earned him. “I’ll be back up soon; there’s some things I need to get done first. Sheerow will come get me if you need anything, okay?” The bird in question fluttered over from its perch in the corner of the room to land on one of the pillows. It nudged Link with its beak, cooing, and bun gave a small smile.

Bun nodded carefully, trying not to spill the tea. “Okay. Thanks, Ravi.”

Ravio smiled and pulled the blankets up around bun to keep the warmth in before giving bun another kiss and straightening.

“I’ll be back with some breakfast and more tea. You try to get some rest.”

Link gave a short hum and buried buns face in the mug, alternating between inhaling the steam and sipping slowly. Ravio made sure to leave the door slightly open as he left so Sheerow could get through. He made his way downstairs quietly, glad his bunny was doing alright.

You happened to get tickets to Jagged Stone's concert with some friends. It was ok music but you weren't the biggest fan however a night out sounded like a plan. There was a word there were a few opening bands so you were hopeful. The place was packed and everyone was screaming and cheering as an opening band played it was enjoyable. Then this man walked out with such a aura about him that made you take notice. He started playing and singing, you literally felt your heart melt, his voice was so tender and soft. His lyrics spoke to your heart, its like he wrote the words for you. It was a song that was based on a broken heart that you were sure he had because there was too much emotion in his lyrics not to have. You were so pulled into this man that you hadn't even noticed the tears that were starting to stream down your face, mixing with you mascara but they were true tears. You felt like for that moment your heart connected to this man, you had to know him. You were shocked that your friends told you it was Jagged Stone's son, Luka.

You were in so awe as he walked off the stage you made your way through the crowd towards the offstage walkway was. You got there the guards held you back you decided to try, since you saw him walking you screamed his name and he turned around. As he walked back towards where you were with the guards. "Please can I have a moment of your time, your song talked to me. It was beautiful and painful at the same time, I know that emotion so much." He reached his hand out letting the guards know it was ok. He walked you back to his dressing room with him, he was still holding your hand it gave you butterflies. As you stepped into his dressing room it was pretty basic it was when you realized he wasn't a flashy star which is why he probably let you back in the first place.

You sit down as he does too. He smiled at you and with the most softest voice he began to speak to you. "So you know the pain of losing someone that you never really had a chance with. I hate you felt that pain I would never wish it on anyone." You could literally tell it was something that hurt him more than he would say. You reached out touching his hand and giving him a smile. He didn't even act like a star his personality, his mellowness it was like he sang for the passion not the fame or money. This is what made him different than any other singer. You gave him a smile "If you want to talk about yours we can, and I will tell you about mine." He nodded, you could tell he let it stay in his heart he wasn't one that would bring others down with his issues he was just the guy everyone else went to instead.

This started a beautiful friendship. You sat and talked, laughed, and even cried for several hours. There was so much you understood in him as he did you as well. His father eventually came around telling him was time to go. You both had lost track of time. You knew he was a music start you were happy with what you got tonight not expecting anything more until he handed you his phone telling you to put your number in. You were so surprised and giggled a bit as you handed your phone to him. After sharing the numbers he smiled at you and waved as you left. You stepped outside and leaned against the wall, he really was a guy you would love to get to know. You closed your eyes knowing he could be a guy you could fall for easy. Your heart was beating so fast but you were happy in the moment. You started to chuckle as you walked down the hall holding your phone with his name and number on the screen, then sliding it into your pocket, you couldn't wait to get to know Luka alot more.

You made it home that night a bit light hearted then your phone vibrated and it was him. His text was very clear he wanted to see you again and you just stood there staring at your phone in a trance. You felt the grin that slowly came across your face, you were giddy with excitement and texted back wanting to know when and where. It was going to be a karaoke date the next night, even though he was a singer he heard you loud and clear when you said you loved to sing. It was so sweet, however you wanted to know if it was a date but were too nervous to ask so you were going to treat it as if it was. You ended your night in such a happy mood, you were really glad you went to that concert.

Next day came and you coasted through your day at work and with friends counting down the hours til you could see him again. Even after only one night of talking there was just something about him that made you want to get to know him and see if there could really be something there. You hoped he felt the same as you do in seeing where it could go. You dug through your closet to find the perfect thing to wear then grabbed a shower. When you were done doing your hair and make up you realized you still had a hour but you were determined not to be late so you headed out. After taking a taxi, dealing with traffic you still got there with 20 minutes to spare. You got out of the cab paying for it then your phone vibrated. You checked it and it was him, you found yourself standing there with a stupid grin on your face. Then you read the text that he was telling you how lovely you looked, at this point you turned back seeing him standing there.

You were so embarrassed that he saw how eager you were for his text and your stupid grin turned into your cheeks blushing hard now. You weren't sure which was more embarrassing as he saw how you acted or the fact he told you that you looked lovely. He walked over putting his hand out for you to take, you bit your bottom lip then bashfully took his hand to walk inside with him. He stopped to hold the door for you then took hold of your hand again. There was no doubt he was treating this as a date, it made you so happy because there was something definitely between you two that was pretty unspoken. You both had been hurt with rejection however you were taking this slow but it made it all worth it every sweet little moment it was like being in school falling in love again with someone. He had this all planned out and you didn't have a clue til everything fell into place.

He stepped up on the stage for karaoke when it was his turn but he reached out for your hand wanting you to sing with him. You didn't feel like you were on the same level but you did love to sing so you stepped up on stage with him. Then he handed you a piece of paper with lyrics on it. You look at the title and its called Lover's Lyrics by Luka Couffaine then it said written for y/a. It all sunk in he wrote you a song, a song about your two, about how he was feeling when he was with you. Your gaze met his as he smiled at you, your heart almost stopped in the moment. He started playing his guitar, he started serenading you with the beautiful lyrics he wrote for you. When it was your part you started singing a bit off tune but he didn't seem to care. Everyone in the place didn't much care either because it was evident as you two stood on that stage singing to each other no one else existed any more. You two were falling in love right there in the song that put both of your hearts out there.

As the song came to and end he pulled you into him and leaned in kissing your lips so softly. You closed your eyes wrapping your arms around the back of his neck holding on tight. The kiss grew deeper as the whole audience was cheering and whistling on. Your giddy feeling had went from that to pure happiness, there was no doubt you were falling in love with him and he was falling for you as well. This was the day your heart fell for a man that you still couldn't understand why someone would reject. You were thankful this friend he had Marinette because she pushed him right into your arms in the end. Just like your ex best friend did the same he pushed you into Luka's arms in the end. You couldn't wait to see how life would be with him being your boyfriend which he did ask after that kiss and of course you agreed, he was the best thing that had ever happened to you.

He is needy and occasionally you will give into some of his more masochist needs like cutting him or whipping him as he requests. Although your not fond of it he is used to it from past events in his life. Its almost like he needs it at times to feel secure with you. The rest of the time he lets you spoil him as he spoils you. You two had been together for a year and today was your anniversary you had been debating on what to get him but then settled on some new knives with engravings of love on them. This way when he cut himself or you cut him in those times he would have a memory to look back on.

You woke up looked over at his sweet face he was snuggled up next to you still sleeping. You needed to put some more aloe on his wounds yes he was part vampire but his marks just never healed the way you wanted or fast enough you worried one day he would bleed out. You had taken his knives and he had to ask for them now when he wanted to cut and although you hated he did it you knew it brought him some kind of peace. With him doing it though he is no longer allowed to do it without you there in case he needs emergency care and such.

You slid out of bed moving his arm gently grabbed some gauze and aloe cream and came back to bed. While he slept you dabbed it on his scars especially the ones on his face. You pushed the hair back off his face and wondered how you got so lucky to have found such an amazing man. Yes he had his weird quirks and kinks but all in all he loved truer and more pure than any one you had ever met before. After you were done you felt a tugging of your shirt it was him wanting you to come back to bed. You have so many late mornings because he just can't let you go so always late for work. You curl back up in his arms as you two fall back to sleep.

A few hours later you wake up nudging him as well. You didn't want to sleep the whole day it was your anniversary after all. You kissed his cheek and headed to the kitchen to make you both some breakfast. As you were frying up some eggs you heard the bedroom door open so you know he finally was up out of bed at least. Next thing you know you feel his arms wrap around you while your cooking. His lips touch the nape of your neck as he kisses up to your ears. He always wants you however there is so much more to do til later. He hops back into the room "Table is done!" He was so cute you could tell he was excited by breakfast. You dished out the food onto the plates and you two had a lovely breakfast. He doesn't always talk alot but when you have the intimate moments like this he talks more. He was fast to clean the table after and wash up the dishes. You couldn't stop smiling this man really made your day. You couldn't help but walk up and give him a long passionate kiss, this had to be the most romantic thing he had ever done. If this was 1 year anniversary what is more years with him going to look like. He had even made his own anniversary card for you as well however you were so sure one of the boys helped him since he isn't always the greatest with technology things like printers and phones. Thats why its so special what he did because he took the time to write all this stuff out and put it on a board. This is one of those gifts you can put up in your room and look at it whenever you want and remember the sweet moments. He is always doing stuff to make you smile and he did yet again, you have been walking around like a idiot all day now.

He ended up pulling you to the couch to watch a series of romantic comedies and romance movies all day. He made this about you, and of course he made sure you had plenty of snacks including chocolate. He then made you a nice hot bubble bath so you could relax however it was even more fun when he climbed in with you. There was water every where in the bathroom but you ended up both fitting in the tub either way. He gave you a nice body wash and massage with bubbles. The bathroom smelled of lavender he knew this would help you relax even more. This day was about you both but Azusa doin what he does best and thats pampering you making you happy which then makes him happy. By the time it was bedtime snuggles in bed as he nuzzled into you. You were so surprised when the carriage pulled up Noah himself was right there to greet you. Lady Clairfurth glared you down as you walked towards him. She was still upset he didn't want her however its good she doesn't know the reason he doesn't want her is because he was in love with you. You were sure that if she knew she would have never let you be hired by his household, and probably would have costed you everything you do. However she made sure you had very minimal in things to take with you since most the household paid for her to use. Noah smiled at you as you walked towards him, and he had a playful look in his eyes. He held his hand out for you helping you up into the carriage, the feeling of your hand in his as you stepped up inside was so nice. He had captured your heart so fast there was no way you were about to give him up. He bowed to the Clairfurth family and then climbed in across from you in the carriage. As the horses neigh, and you start to move you knew life was changing for you with every sound of the rocks crunching under you as you head towards your new home.

After you were out of sight from the Clairfurth household he moved over beside you gripping your hand in his. You look down and see his long fingers intertwining with yours as he pulls it to his lips kissing the top of your hand. "Y/N I'm so happy we have a long ride back, I want you in my arms as much as I can have." You felt him pulling you into his arms while he never lets go of your hand. When you finally broke away there were tears in your eyes, he gently reached up wiping them from your face. "You 're too beautiful to cry, my love." You giggled at his words although those words warm your heart. In this moment you wish it would be easy to run away together however with him being the duke there was no way of skipping out on that. However you plan to stay by him through everything and support him no matter what comes your way. There was no way you could let him go now, he was everything you could have ever wanted in a partner and the way he makes you feel you were sure you would never find that with anyone else. He pulled you back into his arms and you fell asleep right there, he softly rubbed your head running his fingers through your hair. As you fall into a deep slumber he leans down kissing your forehead.

When you get to his families home you woke up in his arms, as he is carrying you out of the carriage towards the house. You couldn't believe he was taking the chance of people thinking something is there between you two. You continued to pretend you were asleep however every so often you had to peek and see him as he walked strong into his home and no one questioned once why he was carrying you. He had so much authority no one dare insinuated it being more than a simple servant that fell asleep from the long ride. He took you to your room you would be staying in, as he carried you over to the bed and laid you down on it, you opened your eyes. Your gaze met his and his eyes sparkled with so much love and endearment in them. As he had already gone to pull away when he had stood back up instead you put your hand on his pulling him back into you. Your lips collided again as you both closed your eyes taking in that moment like many other secret moments you two will have and already have had. "Get some rest, I will see you later on. I promise to come see you before bed every night even if we don't always see each other through the day." Those tender words he spoke made it easy to close your eyes back and fall into slumber.

Days turned into weeks. Your nights were filled with him coming to your chambers and covering you and kisses. He would tell you about his day and you would tell him you support him along the way. This may be the only way you can be together for now but at least you have each other. He tells you about his brother and how difficult he can be, as you tell him how tough it is being a maid. The list goes on all the things you two have come to talk about in your nightly talks. The night always ends with his sweet kisses and he holds you in his arms until you fall asleep. Most night he skips out and heads back to his room however some nights you're more clingy and he gets stuck staying in arms reach til almost morning light. It is always hard to let him go, you wish you could lay in his bed with him without worrying about who sees you two, however its not that easy. Maybe one day you two will have that kind of love but for now every moment with him means the world to you.

After weeks of these nights together and when you two pass each other in the hallways you both always find ways to make small gestures touching each others fingers, or bumping in to one another. No matter what it is these little moments let you know he thinks about you all the time as he knows its the same for you. You see him around during the day and the hardest part is not being able to kiss him and be in his arms as much as you would like. His brother was starting to get suspicious at how much attention that Noah showed to only you. One day you came back to your room and there sat a person sitting at the window at first you thought it was Noah. You ran to his side "My love, I didn't exp....." As your words stopped when his brother turned around and you realized its not Noah. You felt like you messed things up in that moment because you had just called who you thought was Noah, my love, when you were just supposed to be a simple maid. He started to laugh and with a somewhat evil glint in his eyes he looked at you and laughed harder. "I knew it, my brother is screwing the help." His words sounded so cold and heartless and then you started thinking what if this is all it ever would be, even though you two had not been intimate in that way his brother was claiming.

He bowed his head at you "Y/N, Let me introduce myself to you. I'm Noah's brother Siathrich Nurial Chamers you will call me your highness, the current king, and this is my home." As you are having your little talk with the current king word got around to Noah that he was visiting you, he rushes to your side to support you and what you both might face against his half brother. As Noah walks in the room he doesn't hesitate he walks over to you standing in front of his brother and grips you hand in his like this was normal. His brother grins "So this is what my big brother is up to, instead of choosing a wife your playing with the maid. Shame on you." His voice sounded incredibly sinister in away like he was all about destroying everything you two had built. Noah stepped in front of you between his brother staring back at you. "You will no longer address her, anything you have to say it goes through me." His words were so valiant and you could feel the love in his words as they rolled off his tongue.

You put your hand on Noah's arm "Please don't turn against your family because of me. I will leave if I am causing issues." He turned back to you putting his hand to your cheek in such a tender way you gasped. " I will die before I let you go, before I give you up." His words were truly a dedication of how much he loved you, as tears well up in your eyes you realize this is nothing what his brother thought. This was love and both of you were absolutely in love with each other with every breath you take as does he. You know your heart will choose him over and over again, as does his heart only beats for you. He set his brother straight that king or not he refused to stand by him if he can't make the woman he wants his wife. His brother seemed to find it funny however he was just playing a game. He even admitted as we supported each other that he grew bored and needed to go find himself a new play toy. You watch his brother walk out and hope this is the last time that you two have to worry about him trying to come between you.

As the door shuts behind his brother Noah grabs you pulling into you engulfing your soft lip within his own. He held you much tighter than usual he honestly was afraid he was going to lose you, and you could see the fear in his eyes. As you looked up at him you were sure you saw it and then the light caught the tears streaming down his face. He looked like he was afraid of shattering without you. This was the first time you had seen a man look at you like this, that would declare dying before losing you, and that would shed tears over the possible loss of not having you in his life. You reached up wiping his tears as you softly kiss his lips. As you pull away from the kiss you lean your forehead against his, no words are needed in that moment. Your hearts were speaking for the both of you with out another thing said. For the rest of the day Noah didn't leave your side, he held you while he read a book to you until you fell asleep in his arms. This night he didn't go back to his room he stayed with you all night falling asleep together.

As the next morning the sun shined in the window, you yawned as you heard the door creek open looking up realizing it was the head of the maids. She had come to find you since you didn't show up like the rest did. The moment she noticed Noah in your bed, she apologized profusely and excused herself pretty fast. That was when you looked back noticing he was still snuggled up against you and asleep without a shirt on. You looked away your cheeks flushed rosy pink and grew hot. This was the first time you had seen any skin under his clothing and although you wanted to look you didn't feel it was appropriate. His look as he was asleep and half dressed with drool down the side of his face this was a memory you would never forget. He may be a duke but he is just like any other man who falls in love, he isn't perfect but he is perfect for you. You pushed the hair back off his face to look at him as he slept so peaceful. You decide to lay back against him, this time you slide you night dress off your shoulders so some of your skin is bare. You make sure it makes contact with his skin as you close your eyes and breathe softly taking it in. This is the first time you have been skin to skin but you wanted to be close in every way with this man. You fell back asleep in such a vulnerable state.

After a few hours later you woke up to him kissing the bare skin of your arm, the one you exposed earlier. You gasped and his reaction made you quieten down. "Shhhh, just take the moment in, let me keep being close to you." You closed your eyes as he kissed your lips so tenderly as he moved down to the corners of your mouth. His lips moved their way down your ears and neck before working down to your collarbone. His declaration he started saying as he kissed across your collarbone up to your bare shoulder. So many looked upon you envious of your love, it wasn't hard to look at Noah and realize he was crazy in love with you and sees no other woman in the room but you. He bowed before you and took you in his arms as he led you across the dance floor with him. He couldn't take his eyes off of you and before you knew it you realized everyone disappeared besides you two. You were so caught up in the moment when the music stopped you weren't ready for it. The whole room was captivated by him and even you were curious what he was going to do. Then right in the middle of the dance floor he gets down on one knee. You gasped at the sight then looked all around the room then your eyes settled back on his face. He continued his speech. "I love you darling, Y/N you have had my heart the moment I first met you. I know now my life was not complete until you became the love of my life. Do me the pleasure of leaving the world behind you know, and stand by myside forever. Will you marry me?" Tears started to stream down your face as you looked down he was holding the most beautiful ring ready to place it on your finger. Its been a year since you been with your boyfriend Nicola, so much has changed even with him. He went from a man who suffered in the mafia and how he never felt he was good enough to becoming the man he is now. It wasn't always easy for him the vulnerability he had to go through to let you in was a big step. Here you are with him though living in the Falzone manor with him and his family. Its Valentine's day and they have decided to throw a event at the manor. Most days you spend waking up in the room you two share together. How he smiles at you shows that all that hurt and pain is in the past and you make him happy like he does you.

This morning was different you looked over and his side of the bed was empty, you reach for the sheets and notice they are slightly warm so you know he hasn't been away too long. You pull the covers around you as your thoughts flashback to last night and your cheeks burn hot you know those thoughts will surely make you blush again and again. No sooner than you snapped out of this he walks in the door carrying a tray with a lovely breakfast on it as he places it in front of you. Its all your favorite breakfast foods including heart shaped pancakes. The tray is accented with your favorite flower too with a cute folded up card at the edge of the tray that says on it read after. You smiled at him not expecting this and with a soft spoken words he announces "Happy Valentine's Day! Amore mio, good morning." He leans in kissing your lips without even giving you a chance to respond. He always knows how to take you from a moment and smother you in his love, but you love when he does this. Taking your thoughts away all you could do is softly coo to his kisses.

"How di...." he put his fingers to your lips, when he removed them you continued "How did y-you..." He smiled as he took a piece of sausage from your plate and put in your mouth so you couldn't ask silly questions. He just wanted you to enjoy first, talk later. He flopped down on the bed beside you and starts cutting the pancakes up for you. This was way more than you thought he would do he really wanted to show you that you mean the world to him and today was about spoiling you. You let him hand feed you the pancakes without saying another word, but softly moaning as the flavor melts on your tongue. You close your eyes getting lost in being pampered like this. When you got together last year it was after Valentine's Day so this is your first time celebrating it with him and you have to admit he is going all out. After he feeds you the wonderful tasting pancakes then he leans in kissing your lips tasting the sweetness left on them. He licks them taking it all in as you open your eyes and smile at him.

He caresses your face then softly kisses your bare shoulders leaving the tingles that his lips bring across your naked skin. Then he wraps his arms around you holding you into him kissing your forehead "I love you, Cuore mio." The way he uses these sweet pet names on you in such a romantic way, you love when he does this. You pick up the little note he left on the tray while he holds you close. Its a sweet little note that says "Before you ask, no I did not cook this Giulia helped alot, but I told her what I wanted fixed for you. I do love you mio caro, da ora fino a sempre." You had tears that started to trickle down your face and you feel his fingers wiping them then kissing his fingers that had your tears on them. He then kisses your cheeks and then as you closed your eyes he kissed them as well softly. He was so tender but all these baby butterfly kisses made you comforted in a way you could never even dream of. He has you in his arms as these kisses send such a sensation through your whole body. It was so intimate and raw. The closest you have ever been to him, both of you fully vulnerable and letting down the last of the walls to each other.

He moved the tray for you then pulled you down into his arms. He chuckles as you haven't realized you are more revealing than you had planned, you feel him pull the covers up around you as you smile even though your cheeks flush. He doesn't make it about anything more than to be romantically intimate with you. He wants you to feel safe and loved with him in every way. While they were away you got up and got dressed then took the tray down to the kitchen and helped Giulia out and did the dishes from it. You helped her out with things she was doing to prepare for the masquerade tonight. After a few hours go by your hear the front door open, your heart sinks as people flooding into the house yet still no Nicola. He is usually always first however this time he wasn't and you were frantically darting your eyes around the people coming into the house. About that time Nicola swung his arms from behind you wrapping you up in his soft arms. You gasp and jump until you turn around and look up into his beautifully glowing eyes of his. "Y-You're H-Home!?!" Tears formed in your eyes as they rapidly started drenching your shirt. You couldn't help it this was the first time for a moment you felt like you could have lost him and your heart was beating so fast, you were lightly dizzy, as a spell of nausea comes on you. He caught you as you went to sway and almost fall. He lifts you up in his arms and walks you over to the couch laying you down on it. Giulia came in the room with water chilled as she hands it to Nicola.

He tries to slowly give you a sip at a time as he held you up in his arms so that you wouldn't choke. When you finally come to you looked up at him, everyone was standing around to make sure you were ok. Everyone felt awkward when you crashed your lips into his and pulling him down on you. In that moment the world seems to melt away and you don't even know when people left, nor did you two care. After a long make-out session he breaks away because you have been kissing him so much that he could barely catch his breath. "I'm glad to see you too, Amore Mio! Be careful you're safe now." You shake your head like you need to tell him why this happened. You can't get the words out but tears start to trickle down your face. He lifts your chin with his dominant hand. He moves closer into you as you feel your lips collide with his, and you melt into him. When you pull back you blurt it out without trying to hold back and think about it too long now. "I-I thought I was.....g-going to l..o..s..eee you!" Your the only thing, I can't, I just can't live in a world without you...!" He finally understood and he pulled you into him and hugged you tightly not planning to let you go, he still needed you like you needed him. Even though you both have come a long way, the best part of both of you is in the other.

He lifts you up carries you out into the garden entrance then sets you down on the ground. He gets down on one knee and looks up at you as he holds your hand. He pulls out a box and clears his throat so he can properly ask you. "Amore Mio, Y/N, You came into my life when I never thought I deserved anything good. Even when I met you I wasn't sure how I could be good enough for you. But I have fell in love with every smile, in love with every pout, with every single wink, even the tears you have cried. I wiped away whether good or bad tears but I hope all I give you from here fourth is just good tears. I love you, my love, my darling, my sweetheart. Will you marry me, amore della mia vita?" You get on your knees with him, your tears line your eyes ready to pour down your face but he catches them before they do. He pulls you into his lips kissing you like he has never kissed you before. You saw his cheeks flush rosy red, you said it louder "YES!!...YES!!...YES!!" He slid the ring with a beautiful antique setting in it on your finger, you could tell it was past down from his own mother.

He lifted you up swinging you around before he loops your legs over his arms and takes you back to the bedroom. There is a lovely dark purple dress laid out across the bed edged in small crystals to give it such a lovely dress. Lovely silver heels with the same small crystals lining the shoes. He helped you get changed out of what you were wearing. Then he grabs the dress sliding it down on your curves, he smiles at you as he leans kissing the back of your neck. Those sweet soft butterfly kisses. The top of the dress leaves it easy for him to steal kisses on the back of your neck and shoulders. A soft moan comes through your lips as you feel his lips near your ear whispering "You are so stunning!" This made you smile when he said that as he spun you around engulfing your lips loving and kissing you deeper. The kiss got heavier and a little more passionate, you stop him for now. "Lets save that for tonight when we can become one again." You sat down on the bed, he got down on one knee as he slid on the shoe in a cinderella style cliche.

He stood up holding his hand out to you. As you took his hand he led you towards the mirror and Giulia stepped in to help you with your hair done and makeup as Nicola tells you he will meet you at the top of the stairs. After a bit your hair and makeup was done so well you felt like the most beautiful woman in this moment. You couldn't wait to see what he thought, the dress fit you perfectly and you looked amazing in it. You then put a masquerade mask on over your eyes that matches your dress with crystals lining it. You walked down the hallway towards him. As you see him he has his back turned around until he notices you walk up behind him. When he turned around and saw you, he caught himself his jaw was slightly open as if in awe of your beauty. He looked so handsome in his suit and hat with a leather black mask over his face making his beautiful eyes shine a bit brighter.

He took you by your hand kissing the top of your gloves you were wearing. He walked you down the stairs to the bottom, both of you were such a lovely couple that everyone gasped as they watched you two walk into the room. He walks you to the back patio to the middle of a open space he pulls you close as he spins you in to his arms with your back to his chest. He leans forward kissing the side of your mouth. He trails those kisses up to your ear where he gives it a nibble, his hands caressing your neck. You feel your heart beat so fast it feels like its going to explode. He twirled you around and pulled you into his arms your gaze meets each others. He leads you across the floor as the rest of the party dissolves behind you two its only this moment with you and him no one else around. He glides with you across the floor lost in each others eyes falling in love all over again. You lean your head on his chest as the songs change to a slower sound.

This was the best Valentine's Day, you two are happy together and you are the fiancé of the sweetest loving man you have ever known. The rest of the night was such a wonderful time, you did alot of dancing, sitting, some eating, and falling in love with Nicola Francesca again and again. The night was long but you took everything in soaking in all these little moments because you will cherish them the most. After a few drinks Nicola caries you back to the bed that night and helped you change out of your gown. Things got a bit hotter once both of you were in bed but you had drank a little too much but he whispered in your ear softly "Lets make up tomorrow to share in bliss we both remember and enjoy. I love you, mio caro." You kissed him once again "I love you too" the last words you spoke before falling asleep in his soft gentle arms as he laid there holding you all night, he did eventually fall asleep too, he could do so because he knows he will keep you safe....forever.

It was looking like it was going to be a boring afternoon, you were off today but no actual plans. You got up and got dressed not knowing he had plans of his own, you sent him a text when you were done. About a hour later he showed up at your door with his sweet smile. You always had a soft spot for Toma he was your childhood best friend who was always there for you. He was the big brother you never had but yet better. He protected you and shielded you from anything ever hurting you. For years you waited for it to become more but he never asked. You went to high school he even had a girlfriend for a couple years so you eventually figured sister was all he saw you as.

Just recently though he has been more attentive to you since him and his girlfriend broke up. She was cheating on him and had been for years, he only seemed broken up about it and angry for a short time then you two started hanging out and things got better for him. You were lost in thought on the past when you heard a knock at the door then he just walked in, this was normally him he was so used to being practically family that he just made himself at home. You two had to have a long talk about it after you got older though because the thought of him walking in on you getting dressed was not something you wanted to deal with. Before you could say anything he lifted you up and swung you around. "Good morning princess." this was somethin he always called you even when you were young because he is 3 years older than you.

As he puts you down you were standing there shaking your head he always has to make the most mundane things over the top or at least feel like it. You grab your purse and follow him out the door ready to see what he has planned for you two today. This was like any other time you spend together you two walk about town since everything is fairly close. After walking a few blocks you end up at the park your a bit curious its a park you used to play in together when you were little. You and him walk by it a thousand times over these days meaning to stop but life seems to busy to take the time to. You were curious why today, why stand at the front of the park. He pulls a bag off his back and grabs your hand as he walks you to a sunny empty spot at the park.

As he unzips the bags you notice some kids playing across the way in the park on the slide. It reminds you of you both when you were little. There is a little girl running around with her best boy friend and it warms your heart to think that is where you two started. You giggle and Toma looks over seeing what your laughing about. He walks up beside you as you feel his fingers slide between yours. Before you can say anything his words spoke to your heart. "That used to be us huh.... I bet he is in love with that little girl when he grows up too." You look up at him confused his words were clear but yet still confusing. You stood there saying nothing not sure if you should ask you decide its best to be quiet about it. You turn around as he takes from the bag this blanket and throws it across the ground. "Oh, we're having a picnic?" He met you with a smile and nodded.

He had thought this out he had snacks and stuff in the bag. He didn't bring anymore than snacks and sandwiches but it was the perfect delight for the day. You sat down and were still watching those kids from time to time you felt your heart beating so fast. You finally get up the nerve while your eating your sandwich you look up at him and blurt it out. "What did you mean the little boy is in love with the little girl too?" He blushed and looked down "I wanted to surprise you and make this sweet and romantic before we talked but guess thats up now. I've been in love with you since we were kids and my relationship didn't work really because everyone I compare to you. Your all I want." You were hearing his words as the words rolled off his tongue you felt like a part of your life just fell into place.

You looked up this time meeting his eyes he had a curious look on his face, he really had no idea why you had not said anything to his confession. You took a breath, closing your eyes then your words fell out of your mouth like they were always meant to be in the open where his ears could here. "I've loved you since the first day I knew what love was, you were my only love in my life." As you poured your heart tears streamed down your face as you met his gaze. "I....have...a-always loved you, I love you!" No sooner than you said that he leaned over the food on the blanket grabbing your chin pulling you into him capturing your lips in his. Your eyes were wide open realizing he was kissing you, he was really kissing you and in that moment you melted into his kiss.

As he pulled back breaking away from your lips, he wiped your tears from yours eyes. "Why did you never tell me I always wanted to be with you but was scared you didn't feel the same." Before he gave you a chance to respond his lips crashed into yours again. You could even see the tears in his own eyes, you could feel his love in his kiss. He pulled you into his arms and held you for so long. In his arms was where you always knew you were meant to be. You nuzzled into him as he rubbed your head falling asleep in his arms knowing your heart was finally home, where it was always supposed to be. Your heart was never happy until you were completed with his on confessions of love for you.
