moon syncing with the nu moon in aquarius (february 10, 2024):
Tumblr media
bleed phase: if you're bleeding with the nu moon, you're on a white moon cycle. you are in alignment with the moon's natural cycle, making this a very fertile period for you. this is a time for nu beginnings as your cycle is granting you a clean slate + clarity to be exactly who you want to be. with this abundance of sacral energy + fertility, you can plant the seeds that you need to plant in order to bring the vision to life. spend time in solitude to embrace what makes you different as now is the time to show up in that space. you are in true visionary mode so get clear with your vision for the changes that you want to see take place in your life.
follicular phase: your energy is picking up under this nu moon, making this a nu moon to continue working towards the vision. get very strategic about how you can achieve your goals. the key is to work smarter, not harder, so feel free to make any necessary changes in order to make your life easier. this is a great confidence building time, assessing if you are really showing up + giving your all. focus on building your community + sharing your craft. the right people are attracted to you for you, not just for what you have to offer.
ovulatory phase: this is time to take crucial action towards what you intend on manifesting. don't be a coward. you know what needs to be done to make shit shake. shoot your shot with that nu friend, make that change to your appearance, and go out + network! networking is highly beneficial for you during ovulation as you are more likely to attract the people that can help you bring your visions to life. pour into your tribe + uplift your collective. i would highly recommend doing some protection ritual as people will definitely be feening for your energy — evil eye is heavy + you deserve to thrive in your element without any hiccups.
luteal phase: this is a very healing, transformative time for you as you become more aware of the underlying shame, fear, and resentment that your wounded inner child/teen is still holding onto. this is the perfect time to do some release work concerning friendship trauma, working on that heart chakra + get yourself to be open to community + connectivity in its highest vibration. working on that scarcity mindset will be very beneficial too as you're able to work thru the fact that you are the only one getting in the way of what you're manifesting. you + your dreams deserve to be supported when you make it your responsibility to not dim your light.

I have been trying to eat more aligned with my cycle recently, and this recipe — packed with lentils, carrots, and cashews — seemed perfect for my follicular phase!
I made roughly a third of this using kale and subbing the white wine vinegar for apple cider. I totally forgot to pre-soak my cashews, but thankfully the amount of prep involved with this still allowed them the time they needed to boil for almost an hour. I managed to get enough prep done that I had a good 20 minutes or so to leave things simmering and read a little in bed.
I'm embarrassed to admit that it's taken me 4 years to even think of this, but instead of trying to get the cashews to blend in my massive food processor, I instead placed them in a ramekin with the water and used the immersion blender on its highest setting. And honestly, I was astounded by the result — this might be one of the few times I've been able to make something that successfully resembles actual cashew cream, and not just cashew bits. Plus, I didn't have to deal with all of the equipment and dishwasher space involved with the food processor. Seriously, why have I never thought of this before??
And truthfully, the cashew cream really makes this dish. I was so surprised by how flavorful this was, how rich and delicious the texture turned out. None of the French lentil soup recipes I've tried previously have ever really stood out, but this one definitely did!

Yeah, I’ll finish the other one but had to get this outta my head.
We need to talk, guys.. you can’t keep calling me mom. I have been tolerating it up until this point because I love you all so deeply but like…..god I fucken’ hate kids and being closely related to a person who has them is enough to make a woman take a gasoline bath and play with matches ask you nicely not to call her mom anymore. Except that one of you that called me goblin mother, that’s more like overlord shit and I will happily take that.
Anyways, I would die blissfully if Henry laid the weight of his entire mass on me and crushed me under his gloriously hairy chest..

18 degrees out. Warm enough for me to wear the best shirt in my possession: the one with KITTENS wearing little STRAWBERRY HATS and eating STRAWBERRIES. Taking my book OUTSIDE to SIT AND READ IN THE SUN. DO YOU HEAR ME!
