Scene 10: Parting Forevermore

EXT. SAND DUNE. JAKKU. DAY

We are trailing behind DATHAN - MIRAMIR and YOUNG REY. From the way they walk we can tell this is their time for mourning. They lead us - walking in slow motion - about two metres in front of us and our view is fixed to the centre of the screen just as they are fixed at the centre of the screen with the same distance kept between us and them. MIRAMIR starts humming a song while holding YOUNG REY to her right shoulder. YOUNG REY faces us with a sorrowful look on her face. YOUNG REY is the only face we can see.  While with DATHAN and MIRAMIR we can only see their backs as they continue to walk forward. Then after thirty seconds of humming - MIRAMIR starts SINGING “Parting forevermore”.

MIRAMIR (SINGING)

There were a king and queen in the land of forevermore

They walked through the deserts and valleys

With the daughter they bore

In their arms the princess cried

Until they reach the blue shore

And tears flow from her brown eyes

That gave her father heartache all the more

And the rain came

From the sky it pour

Sorrow we cried

And our hearts the sore

After the first bridge and the first chorus DATHAN starts singing the second bridge and second chorus. Then YOUNG REY starts CRYING. MIRAMIR PADS YOUNG REY on the back and begins to softly stroke it

DATHAN (SINGING)

Though this is parting

And though we know not what is in store

Your fair skin warm like the Sun

Your smile to live for

Your love as precious as pearls in the sea

And yeah this sacred love to die for

And tears flow from her brown eyes

That gave her father heartache all the more

And the rain came 

From the sky it pour

Yeah ‘cause this is parting forevermore

As the song finishes - we cut to an extended shot of YOUNG REY calling out and REACHING for her parents who have flown away. We see her calling and REACHING for ten seconds ‘til the wind blows sand against her. She covers her face with her free left arm then continues calling out and REACHING 

And we cut to…

EXT. SAND DUNE. JAKKU. DAY

We are some distance away from YOUNGER REY - who is at the bottom of the sand dune - while - we are at the slope of a hill. SHE is SWINGING all alone in the emptiness of the desert. We see this for eight seconds ‘til we are situated in YOUNGER REY’S perspective and we are swinging - now higher than before zero degree on the x-axis of the pendulum of her swing. And we swing forth seeing her legs and hands to the other side at zero degree also on the x-axis. We go back and forth in the pendulum but swinging continually higher and faster than before. A strong wind blows a gust of sand towards us from the wind behind YOUNGER REY’S back. Then the wind grows stronger and stronger ‘til it is a sand storm which covers half of all of our view. Half of our view is covered with the wind swept sand but now we see that it is the feet and hands of an adult REY. The wind causes the swing to sway violently back and forth to the sides jaggedly while still going back and forth. Then the chains on the swing break and REY flies into the air with another gust of sandstorm blowing in. When it clears, SHE is FALLING into HECTUS’ SABRE

Greetings, I was referred to try these matchups by a friend of mine who had roped the rest of our house into their shenanigans so here I am: 1. Currently, it's Whose Honey Are You by Fats Waller, particularly:

Don't you think, before we wind up, We're terrific, you and me!" it reminds me of an old club I met my spouse in and it's been coming back to my mind recently. 2. My enneagram type is Type Eight, the challenger. 3. Not truly, I enjoy documentaries but those kinds of videos ain't my cup of tea. I'm more inclined towards music. 4. I did not have an imaginary childhood friend, not that one I can remember anyways, it's been some time since I was a child. 5. Typically I don't sleep as much but I do like to do so after reading for a bit. 6. I would change it to Leopold. I don't have much of reason, I just like the name 7. I happen to like Aaron's "Your Tsundere Boss Boyfriend wants to talk" audio, it feels real in a sense and shows a lot of maturity in handling a relationship that I appreciate seeing. 8. I don't seem to get the appeal behind David Shaw, he just seems too much like a tough head and needs to get his ass beat 9. Despite their quality, I do like the Hallmark drama movies, not because I enjoy them but they're just fun to mock as I watch them. One that I know is "Til Death Do Us Part: An Aurora Teagarden Mystery" on account of how much a friend of mine watched it while I was around. 10. I do like Aaron, he's has a good head on his shoulders, I can see myself having a good talking with him over dinner. 11. I usually talk about history when I ramble, I've learned enough where I can speak on it and if I'm caught in a mood then I would be caught rambling for too long 12. I don't much indulge in that kinda food, I'm more inclined to a home-cooked meal. Something like Jambalaya would do well for me. 13. My favorite playlist would have to be one my spouse set up for me with my favorite Jazz musicians in there, I listen to it here and there. 14. I suppose the answer to this would be the same to number eight, which is hallmark movies. 15. Something else that I feel could help you to know about me is that...I like having people in my life, I don't act like it much but I do appreciate them all. I also play the Cello and I run my own shop for charms and occult items.

Hmmm… actually, let’s be real. That “hmmm…” is not real, because it’s so obvious who your match would be. How could I pair you with anyone but Camelopardalis?

Like, you like to talk about history? Awesome, Cam was there for the history (because I will believe he’s old as hell until god tells me otherwise.) You like maturity, honesty, and transparency in your relationships? Cam’s literally a therapist; I would hope he’s got all those on lock. I think your personalities and your lifestyles would be instantly compatible, and you two would connect queerplatonically or romantically with ease.

Oh, and what an easy, lovely life it would be, Cam being a perfect fit in your household. He’d get along so well with your spouse, as he strikes me as an amicable person to get along with. He loves jazz and the sound of your cello; perhaps you two even play together. (I could see Camelopardalis having picked up the piano in all of his years.) He’s an avid reader with a huge collection, so he frequently shares with you, giving you good recommendations for things to read before bed. He loves to loiter around the shop and watch you work, maybe watching the till while you’re in the back or knitting behind the counter on slower days. (Really, the only point of disagreement I could think of is that he genuinely, unironically loves Hallmark movies.)

One, it’s a jazz love song classic- the jazz love song classic, if you will. It’s also sweet, singable, and a little somber, perfect for slow dancing in the shop while the rain keeps the customers and bad things away. Two. I couldn’t resist, given Cam’s job in memory modification; it was too punny.

Runner-ups:

Hmm, so James was a pretty compelling option for you. I like his vibes as a match, but he strikes me as more of a platonic, social companion than a romantic one. Vega is a runner-up, because imagining him in your occult shop is really funny and charming. Like, that’s a sitcom right there.

Lemme see. This is long, sorry about that. I’m in a rambling mood. These are just the characters that came wandering into my noodle in no order - at least, that was intended.

1. Dorothea from Middlemarch (by George Eliot). She’s probably my fave character ever. I think in a mostly abstract way, she’s come nearest to mapping out how I perceive the feminine part of myself. She starts out so so idealistic - wanting to do something to change the world, to matter, but society has its own rules that eventually beats her down, but she’s so stoic, enduring, and self-denying, that her happy ending is earned… but then the epilogue is so melancholy so was it happy? and… I don’t know. There’s something in it all that I’ve never found a better version of.

2. My brain is on D names now lol so Daphnae from AC Odyssey. The more I think about her story, as little as we’re given of it, the more I find something tragic and fated in it, and then there’s the possibility of changing that fate, or embracing it. Something, something doomed by the narrative, unless…?

3. Demosthenes from my pdfs lol listen - ancient history RPF is a fandom (apparently) so this is valid. I have been down some serious rabbit holes with this man of late - I won’t even start on why or this will be an essay. I could also have put Thucydides in this position - but I’m on D names.

4. Daria. No seriously. I loved this show when I was a teen, and she’s honestly my spirit animal. It was my nickname because I was unfortunately very much like that. I adore her deadpan, acerbic remarks and many of them will live on in my brain forevermore. I wasn’t as witty btw - but the vibes were the same.

5. Hedwyn from the vg Pyre (woot! My brain releases me from the letter D!). I’ve played it several times now, and he’s my fave. Just a sweet guy - so sweet, you always want to free him first, but then you also very much wanna keep him with you - and sometimes I’ve been selfish enough to send everyone else instead. I also like Volfred a lot but that has everything up do with the VA 🙈

6. Alfie from Peaky Blinders. I have no excuses - the character is an unhinged maniac but Tom Hardy just brought something (a twinkling eye) to the role that makes him a very likeable, back-stabbing psychopath.

7. Caesar from HBO Rome. Ciaran Hinds has been a fave of mine since Persuasion - and I liked how he acted this part / how he was written. That’s all I’ll ever say about Caesar - character or historical figure. There are at least another half a dozen characters in this series I might’ve mentioned too. I must rewatch it one of these days.

8. Gannicus from Starz Spartacus. Dustin Clare is an old time favourite from waaaay back when I was persuaded to watch McLeod’s Daughters - really bingeable but quite trashy Aussie TV - sorry to any fans - but it really is. I so enjoyed his vibes and he brings all of that to Gannicus and it just works so well for the character. Pure cheekiness, and when he does this face 🥺 chefs kiss. 9. Johnny Spit from the movie Gettin Square. Yeah this is left field and I seriously doubt there’s a fandom for it - but what a character - quintessentially Australian deadbeat, (played by David Wenham). There’s a courtroom scene that kills me every time. I hope he got square, for good this time.

10. Kenny from Mad Men. I don’t even know how to explain it, I just want to protect him and he doesn’t even deserve it, and he wouldn’t have thanked me for it - maybe it was just the way everyone else was just an asshole about his writing. I want to know more about the short story about the egg. I could’ve picked almost any other character from this show though. They’re all so good/bad for their own reasons.

My Top Ten Barbie Movies

With the movie approaching, I'm dubbing this Barbie Month, and pushing back on the Studying part of the Masterpost for a little longer. July is pink party time!

Today, I’m sharing my Top Ten Barbie movies, which I wonder if they’ll be controversial! Share yours, lets compare!

10: Christmas Carol. She cast herself as the villain, we love that! This is unironically a good adaptation of A Christmas Carol. It doesn’t beat the Muppets, but there are many worse adaptations that get way more praise. Eden Starling is a fantastic Barbie-fied Scrooge, and I love Morwenna Banks.

9: Star Light Adventure. I love Star Wars, I love Star Trek, I love big dumb himbos whose entire motivation in life is Eat Food, Drive Fast, Drink Respect Women Juice. Sometimes Barbie movies should be ranked by their Ken, and Prince Leo is just great. Also, a unique sci-fi plot that could only come from a Barbie movie.

8: Spy Squad. Listen, sometimes I just like dumb, fun movies. This is a stellar spy movie with a fun premise, quirky characters, a spy HQ in the H of the Hollywood sign, and the baddie is just their rival in a wig. Its cute, its colourful, they give Barbie a knock-off lightsaber. No complaints.

7: Big City, Big Dreams. We’re finally back to a good, queer-leaning Barbie movie! I love Malibu and Brookln’s dynamic, I think they’re so cute platonically or romantically, and I had fun with Mermaid Magic and Epic Road Trip too. I don’t love the tragic miscommunication moment, but I guess they had to add conflict in the last ten minutes. I love the songs and their final performance enough that all is forgiven.

6: Video Game Hero. I just think its fun, ok? This is the “there’s more than one way to ___” thing that Pink Shoes tried (and I still love, just not enough to Top Ten it) but went the wrong way about in my opinion. Video Game Hero is not a groundbreaking political commentary, or a classic musical, but it just has a special place in my heart.

5: Three Musketeers. I genuinely do not care for any other version of Three Musketeers. No one will ever beat Barbie. I love the secret society of swordfighters, I love that Prince Louis changes his tune by the power of… well, the Power of Four forevermore, I guess. I love that every version of Three Musketeers features precisely 0 muskets, and the Barbie version took that new heights with one of them fully just having ribbons.

4: The Fairytopia Trilogy. I think they get better and better with each iteration. I love the story of a wingless fairy getting wings, and then giving them up selflessly in 1 and 2, and I love that the ultimate message is that of kindness and courage. It’s also absolutely just me being blinded by childhood nostalgia, but Laverna is a top tier villain too.

3: Magic of Pegasus. I have a lot of positive thoughts about this one, but the main one is Aiden!! I think his story is quite unique and complex and he’s one of the strongest love interests of any of th Barbie movies. I also think this one is so pretty and purple, and Cloud Kingdom is glorious, and the quest plot is fantastic.

2: Princess and the Pauper. Now I know this one will not be controversial, except that it’s nt number one! Annaliese and Erika are both delightful, Julian and Dominic too, and even the characters lower on the roster are fun. Not to mention the best songs that make me want to do a full stage production.

1: Princess Charm School. This probably comes as no surprise if you’ve read my essay. I think that the socioeconomic implications are intense, I think that the murder plot is exciting, I think Hadley and Isla as Gardania Unsolved have to be among my favourite Friend Characters, and I think Blair is actually a great character too. I also love Delancey’s redemption, and how it comes from being faced with real-world consequences.

Our hearts are shattered beyond repair when we lose our loved ones. When we experience grief, it feels as though our hearts will never heal. It's comforting to know God's heart also breaks when we feel sorrow and pain. We are His beloved creation. And for all true and born-again Christians, we are also His beloved children. His steadfast love is beyond our understanding. When a child falls, his or her mother steps in quickly to bandage the wound. We are thankful to be children of the loving, Almighty God who bandages our broken hearts when they've become shattered by grief and sorrow. We know that God's love is beyond our understanding and we have faith that He is always with us and that He will bandage every wound. May He continue guide, correct and protect us, so that we continue to grow in Him and not weaken and stray. May we all remain faithful to Him and to this duty and purpose He has called us to. May He humble our hearts and help us focus on following and serving Him daily and helping others with joy and happiness. We lift our voices in praise to Him for His love, mercy, peace, faithfulness and grace. - For EVERYTHING!

It is vital that we remain rooted in Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ through prayer and His Holy Word and Spirit and that we live and walk as a beacon of His light and love and share and spread the Gospel Truth daily, so that the lost souls in this world can come to know Him and be saved. The more we focus on Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ, growing spiritually by building our relationship with Him, leaning on Him and His Holy Word and Spirit, the better off we will be. Thanks to this and our faith in Him, we know that everything will be alright. And we will forever be grateful to Him. As true and born-again Christians, we believe in Him and His Holy Word and we strive daily to walk in His Holy Spirit. We know though our mortal bodies should die, He will raise us up and into new and glorious bodies (The Rapture). We who are truly His and alive at His second coming will never die, and our bodies will be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, and so shall we ever be with Him in His Kingdom of Heaven forevermore (1 Corinthians 15:51-52, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17). This is one of many promises given to us by God Himself. Thank God for His strength and guidance when we are faced with sin and temptation. Thank Him for His mercy and grace. Through Bible study and prayer, God reveals His wisdom and guides us to see opportunities to grow closer to Him and grow spiritually. He gives us direction to live our lives daily according to His will.

Jesus Christ is the ONLY way to Heaven (John 3:5, 14:6), the ONLY way to salvation (Acts 4:12, Ephesians 2:8-9) and He is the resurrection and the life (John 11:25-26). Jesus Christ the LORD of lords, KING of kings, the GOD of gods (Deuteronomy 10:17, 1 Timothy 6:15, Revelation 17:14, Revelation 19:16) - He is the Living, Almighty and Everlasting God (Isaiah 9:6, Revelation 1:8, John 3:16, John 3:36, Jeremiah 10:10). There is no other God besides Him (Isaiah 45:5). We MUST humble ourselves before Him, turning our backs on false teachers, false gods and idols and our sinful ways. We MUST repent and turn back to God and recognize who He is and love Him in return for His great love for us. We MUST make God top priority everyday! May we be motivated to spread God's Holy Word and Gospel Truth to all the Earth, knowing that it is the only hope of all those lost in their sins. Let us not hold out a false hope for men to be saved without the Gospel, but instead, strive to do our part to get the Gospel out to a lost and dying world.

Leaning on Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ through prayer and His Holy Word and Spirit strengthens us and our knowledge and wisdom about God and His Gospel Truth, exposing these imposters. May God help us to seek and lean on Him daily to gain the strength, wisdom and spiritual discernment needed to expose Satan and his imposters who seek to destroy us and God's ultimate Truth. Everyday, we must remember to share Jesus Christ's Gospel Truth with the world and to thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for the grace that He poured out for us on the cross at Calvary. He has freed us from the burdens of sin and from the eternal damnation of Hell. In all we say and do, may all praise, honor and glory always be given to Him and His Kingdom of Heaven.

With renewed minds, hearts and wills, let us serve Him humbly and faithfully out of pure love and grateful rejoicing. May He remind us of His presence and to remain at peace, fully knowing that all will be well because He is always with us. Let us seek Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ today and everyday with all our heart and being, looking for His love, light and will for our lives with each step we take. If you had to remake TTPD (featuring TA) which 16 tracks would you use to make a solid album?

This is so difficult! But I’m gonna try.

So, the og album already tells a pretty cohesive story on its own, but there are a few “missteps” (in my eyes, of course!) that can be fixed. These are the songs I’d remove from the og tracklist:

1. MBOBHFT: This is just a bad song, imo. Very flat and repetitive. “Rivulets descend my plastic smile” is also a perfect example of a lyric that uses a whole lot of words without saying anything. There are a couple of important lines here (like “pull the string and I’ll tell you that he runs because he loves me”), but the song is just really bland.

2. The Alchemy: Worst song on the og tracklist and perhaps worst song overall. Again, its biggest crime is just being flat (IMO!). I also think that we don’t need the Travis narrative to make a complete and cohesive album. He’s clearly extremely important in Taylor’s life! But I don’t think we need his piece of the story to make sense of TTPD. Every other album has a moment at the end when the tension of the album is released (the world is sad but let’s go to the lakes! The world is painful but the pain won’t be forevermore! This heartbreak was horrible but now I’m gonna begin again! This was the worst year of my life but on New Year’s Day everything changed!). But TTPD’s story is more compelling if we remove that part of the story, imo.

3. ICFH (NRIC): Again, not important to the story (it’s already evident that she couldn’t “fix” him) and I really dislike the song.

4. And then I’d remove TTPD, just because I don’t like it hahah. It has a few moments that are relevant to the whole story, but nothing we can’t do without for a song that’s below average, imo.

5. Finally I’d remove Clara Bow. I love the song but it’s better as a bonus track, imo! I don’t really see how it would fit the main narrative.

Now, by removing these ongs, the only big narrative gap we create is the marriage one (in relation to MH) but we still have loml that talks about it, so it’s okay.

This would me my new tracklist!

INTRODUCTION

1. Fortnight. Of course, it’s an amazing opener. It sets the scene for the whole record and the “failed American dream” story is so mesmerizing.

2. COSOSOM: This is Fortnight sister, and it serves the purpose of bringing the album to a more “real” setting: first we see that the American dream has failed, and then we see why her specific story has failed.

SETTING THE MOOD FOR TAYLOR’S STATE OF MIND

3. I Hate It Here: “this place made me feel worthless” is a fundamental lyric to understand the entire album, imo

4. Florida!!!: again, with this song and the following one we have a “fantasy/real” scenery, just like in the first two tracks. She’s so bored and she feels so disconnected from her life that she dreams of doing the most crazy stuff (burying bodies in swamps…)

5. Guilty As Sin?: the “real” part of the consequences of her boredom: she won’t uproot her life and move to Florida, but she might reconnect with an old flame

THE END - THE BEGINNING - THE END (AGAIN)

9. Peter: I know this is technically about the past, but I like the idea of placing the song here, because it’s kind of like… you said you were gonna grow up and you were gonna come find me, and now you’re here, you’ve found me, but you’re still not grown up.

10. Down Bad: again, I like the idea of having a “fantasy/real” pairing. In this case, she’s so distraught about being left alone that the only way she can make sense of it all is by thinking “maybe you were an extraterrestrial creature that chose me temporarily, there’s no rational explanation here”

11. TSMWEL: she can’t make sense of the ending, but in this case it all boils down to “you’re a small man” (so this is the “real” part of the pairing)

Reminiscence

Hiya! I just wrote this quick fic to warm me up for future stories. I hope you'll enjoy it, and don't hesitate to share. Writing is my main passion^^ --- By swiftly unfolding his umbrella under the rainstorm, he breathed slowly, letting the air of this planet filling his lungs as a welcoming embrace. The heaviness of the petrichor tilted his memories onto his tender childhood, where joy and sparkling stories met forevermore. Around him, neons lights shone blindly on his clothes, pearling the few droplets that were managing to get on his suit from the wind.

“Earth didn't change, isn't it?”

A flying bot shaped like a tennis ball emitted a joyous sound, placing itself in front of his owner before turning around itself many times before being caught in its own giddiness. Its owner tenderly secured his bot and placed it in a pocket of his coat, a thin smile drawn on his face.

“I'm happy to be back home too, Hope.”

On those words, the visitor closed the door of his car and crossed the street, tilting his umbrella as so his bot and himself wouldn't be dampen by the angled rain. He kept walking like this until the sign of a camera shop appeared on his filed of vision. It had a neat simplistic logo of a camera snapping a robot in a flash, lighted by an incandescent bulb, flickering dangerously by the force of the wind. He opened the door, shook his umbrella to get rid of the excess of water, then took refuge inside where warmth and dimmed light hailed him silently. A bell rang just above him, but no one responded, so he went down the stairs, feeling the old wooden steps creaking under his feet, the sound resonating in the walls of the basement, and the quieted sound of the rain hitting the door.

Downstairs, a few shelves with many accessories were standing around the room like skyscrapper. Near the cash register, two shelves made of glasses stood at each side, displaying the cameras and the most expensives lenses. Some tripods and bags were hanging on the wall while others were simply resting in a corner with a tag written "50% WOW!" over them.

A few moments later, someone came out of the office in the back to welcome their customer.

“Hello there, my sincere apologies if I took this long to-CALCIOS? IS THAT REALLY YOU?”

“H-hey, Aster... it's... been a while...”

The two robots looked at each other in silence, incapable of saying anything. Hope took this opportunity to quickly flied away from Calcios's coat and nudged him to walk toward his friend. Not even a meter away from each other, Aster threw themselves into their friend's arms, hugging him tight as to not let him go by fear of losing him. While the flying bot decided to watch them from the counter, Calcios returned the affection by those whispering words he had held for years.

“I missed you...”

“I missed you too, buddy. How long has it been since we last saw each other?”

“10 years I believe.”

Aster let go of their friend, not wanting to compress his friend like a compactor. They seized this opportunity to properly observe their friend, to memorize each piece of metal, to engrave this vision as a way to believe their friend was truly present. It could be a dream. Many times he dreamt of seeing their friend, waking up to false hope each time. But this time, Calcios was truly standing in his camera shop, his eyes wandering away.

“You're... staring a bit too much.” managed to say the visitor, his face faintly glowing red as to express a blushing feeling.

“Oh my bad, I was just admiring how you changed, you know?” Aster walked around their friend, this time examining him like he was a patient in their clinic. “You've changed some parts while you were away from Earth. I'm in love with those longer green ears. Are they antennas?”

Calcios nodded in panic, definitely shy from this excessive display of attention coming from his friend, not that he really wanted to stop them. At the opposite, Aster has not changed a single bit, even the deep, shallow cut in their breast plate. That injury made him remember why he quit earth in the first place, but also why he came back, but he didn't want to think about that. Right now, it was time for the happy reunion, and he wanted to express it.

“Hum... sooo... what's poppin?”

Once again, they stared at each other in silence, but this time, Calcios felt the cringeness of his words burning in his core, and he felt stupid.

“Calcios happy to see Aster. Calcios not good at words.”

Aster snatched Hope by using their telescopic hands and played with it like it was a tennis ball, ignoring the impassible complain of the bot. They didn't really care about how stupid or weird their friend sounded. Aster knew what was "poppin".

“Oh you know, still selling cameras while trying to figure out how you could fall in love with me,” answered Aster with a playful tone in their voice.

“Robots don't fall in love.”

“... 10 years away from those humans didn't teach you anything?”

Decidedly, those two robots were truly talentuous at creating awkward silence after another, but this time, a coldness, and a familiar one, weighed around them. Astel caressed their chest plate as to reminisce the reason of this whole "situation".

“You know what? Let's leave it at that for now.” Aster finally let go of Hope and walked back to their counter. “Did you want to buy a camera? I have this amazing Fujifilm XT-9 that comes with this amazing lens for only 14.999 tellurian currency. If you still have some american dollars, I think it's 4 100$, but I could gift you a bag because you're my friend.”

Calcios shushed their offer and leaned over the counter, closing the distance without any warning. His mouth nearly tapped against Aster's cheek, but instead, mere words came out like a bullet, a single sentence that froze Aster in place.

“I took it back”

On the counter, an old photo album was laying in front of the camera shop owner with the words "for my friends Calcios and Aster" engraved as a souvenir. At the bottom right, They read the name "Fuchsia", a name that reverberated a myriad of memories through their core. Aster opened the first page, then froze again by the sight of their passing friend, taken away by those who created them. The shop owner looked up, but Calcios was nowhere to be seen. The flying bot was also gone. Silence finally reigned like it always did. Aster wished they could cry, but robots don't shed tears, and they only had their interiorized affliction runing rampant through their circuit.

“You said robots don't love, but you didn't chase a single human for 10 years only to brink back a relic of our passed away friend for nothing...”

Aster let themselves fall on the ground, shaking uncontrollably from their overwhelming feelings. They looked at their injury once again, something they never bother to replace because they wanted to remember how their own creators, humans, also tried to be their destructors. Aster gently hugged the photo album, truly happy to have gain back their friend's memories.

FarmWorld!Finn + His Kids

So it's been well established that his five kids are Jay, Bonnie, a kid he has with Huntress Wizard, Neptr, and Stormo; though to be fair I thought Stormo was Lemongrab for a while because that would also make sense.

Instead of him just getting with HW and happening to have the same kids he had with Roselinen in Puhoy, I think that Finn met Roselinen (probably not her name in FarmWorld) in like, late teens early twenties and they had Jay and Bonnie, then either she died or they separated and he got the kids. Boomjams we got Single Dad Finn 1.0

Then he met HW, they had a kid, probably named Hunter or Arrow, and adopted/found Neptr.

These are all pretty straightforward as far as how these kids come into existence or become part of the family; all except Stormo. He and Finn have shared DNA unlike Neptr so it wouldn't make sense for Stormo to be adopted and the world they live in is too underdeveloped medically to have surrogacy yet. My take is that Stormo is Finn's little sibling that we see in the episode from the original show, but because of the ice fiasco Stormo was preserved in ice and never aged past a baby. Years later after Finn is cured of his ice madness he finds his little brother, frees him and raises him as a son (and hush about the fact that it would be very unlikely that a baby would survive being frozen for like 10 years).

So, to recap:

Finn goes nuts with the ice stuff and freezes his parents, baby brother, and Barnaby. Later when he's freed from the curse he finds Jake, and meets and has two children with Roselinen; Jay and Bonnie. They seperate/she dies, Finn takes the kids, then finds his long lost family frozen in ice. His parents don't make it, but his baby brother aka Stormo and Barnaby do, so they become part of the family. He then meets Huntress Wizard. They have Hunter, and save Neptr (thereby saving his life, kinda similar to giving him life). Then HW dies and Finn becomes Single Dad 2.0

Finn DOES NOT die during his face off with Destiny Gang and Scarab, he gets a concussion and his children are able to nurse him back to health because he is NOT leaving those kids all alone. Then he parts ways with his eldest son Jay and the rest of the family eats Huntress Wizard Stew forevermore. At least until Bonnie goes off to be gay and Stormo gets locked in an eternal battle with some psycho kid from Destiny Gang named Goliad. Hunter follows in the footsteps of his mom and Neptr.... I dunno, carries on the family business of lumberjacking? Yes.

Me, trying to convince you guys to read The Unwind series (by Neal Shusterman) based on the playlist I made for it and this meme alone;

Something Real (Post Malone) "So tell me how the fuck am I still alive, it's a miracle" "I would trade my life just to be at peace" "It's a double-edged sword cutting' off ties with the ones I know" I feel like this one would be good if they made like a movie/tv show about it, and they pan to different point of views at the very end of it. I think it would be cool.

2. Litlost (X Ambassadors) Um... literally the entire song is lit and a vibe. It's pretty sad though, which fits the whole series. (fair bit of warning: you might need tissues) "And your grandfather clock is still ticking, but the chime never rings" "And I'll never be whole again" "What have I done? With my heart on the floor, I must be out of my mind."

3. The Phoenix (Fall Out Boy) "So, we can take the world back from a heart attack one maniac at a time we will take it back." "Doesn't it feel like our time is running out?" For this one, (I'm not gonna be specific because of spoilers) but that whole fight scene in book 2, would be great. Or in book 3, when they start to take over the camps.

4. The Kids Aren't Alright (Fall Out Boy) "blessed be the boys time can't capture" "I'm not passive but aggressive, and I still feel that rush in my veins. All the people in those old photographs I've seen are dead." This could be the theme song. For reals.

5. Clocks (Coldplay) "The lights go out and I can't be saved, tides that I tried to swim against, have brought me down upon my knees" "Cursed missed opportunities, am I part of the cure, or am I a part of the disease? Singin'"

6. Devil I Know (Allie X) "I want to, wanna get free" "But you bring me down to my knees when push comes to shove" Could be used when kids get rounded up by the police and they try to fight or run.

7. Hopeless Opus (Imagine Dragons) "It's not a picture perfect life, not what I had in mind" "Let me write my own line, I've got this place that I've filled with empty space"

8. Paradise (Coldplay) "In the night, the stormy night, away she'd fly; and dream of para-para paradise" For this one, again, perhaps another theme song? Maybe it's what every AWOL kid secretly wishes for.

9. Can't Feel My Face (The Weeknd) "And I know she'll be the death of me, at least, we'll both be numb" I think this one is kinda funny to add. I think it would be good to use it, because it would sort of show the opposite side of the problem, those that think unwinding is good. Maybe if they show the adds like they do in the books, then this song could be a background song to it. Who knows.

10.. Eat Your Young (Hozier) "There's money to be made, whatever's still to come." "Come and get some, skinning the children for a war drum." "It's quicker and easier to eat your young." For some reason, this song makes me think of the fancy parts-pirate in book 5.

11. Ends and Begins (Labrinth) "I hear your name, I hear a melody, I'll never forget, ah. 'Cause it's carved in my memory. Ah, forevermore. And infinity, ah." "Like a brand-new start, baby" So, this one would be PERFECT for the end scene in book 5. I also think that it's perfect for all the main characters. Lev, Risa, Connor, and Hayden. Their names will go down in history. Especially after everything they've all been through. That'll all I've got to say.
