Please read, don't scroll pass this. (II)
One the previous post I talked about the KOSA Bill and the TikTok Ban Bill as you can see above, but now for this post I'm going to talk about something of even greater importance. Project 2025.
Project 2025 is a plan from Republicans / Conservatives to seize total control of America from the inside out while destroying democracy in the process, ultimately turning America into a Christian nationalist militarized state. One of the main ways they plan on making this a reality is through Trump getting a second term as president.
If this comes to pass, this will ruin and even end the lives of many, and to make it worse, the changes caused by Project 2025 will still be in effect even long after Trump's second term ends.
We cannot let Trump when this election, and as much as I hate this, Biden is really our only choice since voting on a 3rd party will most likely won't work. I know Biden has a lot of problems, but we don't have a choice.
Here is some more links with some additional info (including the actual Project 2025 website), please look more into this and spread this around (even if you're not in America)

Aaaand Roe is officially gone, with an opinion making clear that Griswold (right to use contraception), Obergefell (nationwide legalisation of same-sex marriage) and Lawrence (legalisation of consensual same-sex activity) are up for "review" next. Aka if any of the lower courts can successfully get a case challenging any of these laws as high as the Supreme Court, they WILL take it, and they WILL vote to overrule.
So maybe, just maybe, it was a bad idea to vote for a fascist coup-plotting conman and let him appoint three theocratic dark-money evangelical Christian fundamentalist operatives to a lifetime and unreviewable post on the final arbiter of law and policy in the United States. But y'know, HER EMAILS.

Man, the recent censorship crackdowns are scary as hell. Eventually, there won't be a place for freedom of expression at all... then there will be real socioeconomic problems. FUCK purity-washed corporatism. FUCK this fake progressive bs where someone can't even talk about their own pain without getting censored into oblivion and banned. FUCK respectability politics. FUCK selfish companies that prioritize some humanless squeaky clean christo-fashy image over people who actually use their product[s]. FUCK this shit.

It really cracks me up that the GOP is like “WHY WON’T MILLENNIALS AND ZOOMERS VOTE FOR US???” when only a minority of them are finally coming around to the idea that maybe gay people deserve to get married like straight people do.
(Btw, supporting gay marriage is like close to the bare fucking minimum when it comes to LGBTQ+ rights, there are so many other issues affecting queer people that deserve cisgender/straight people’s support too)

Ran into a Free Burma Ranger today(he was very kind) and was reminded once more that if any of the so-called Christians you see today advocating for the oppression of queer people and other minorities actually read the Bible and considered the things its writers tried to convey were the most important, the logical next step would be an organization like the Free Burma Rangers: a group who dodges bullets to deliver life-saving medical care and evacuate peoples, especially ethnic minorities, from places of conflict while putting others first.
But for some reason, most people want to use being Christian as an excuse to have an untouchable, nebulous, “religious reason” to hate and oppress people they find disgusting for stupid bigoted reasons. The Free Burma Rangers are an unabashedly Christian organization; they have Bible verses all over their website. But strangely, they’re not the ones about hellfire and damnation but the ones about love and helping each other and how everyone deserves to be treated equally. And they don’t do any of that heinous shit like refuse aid to non-Christians(there were Ranger teams in ISIS-occupied Syria delivering medical aid to civilians in Mosul and other cities) or baptize people without their consent or bar their membership to non-Christians (many Buddhists and Muslims have joined).
Gee, it’s almost like being Christian would just be too inconvenient and hard for certain bastards out there, and they would rather scam people out of their money instead.
Anyway please donate to the Free Burma Rangers, they are a good organization and need help.

ICYMI The He Gets Us org, The Servant Foundation, funds the Alliance Defending Freedom, whose greatest hits are:
303 Creative v. Elenis - the anti-LGBT case from last year
Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization - we should all know this one by now
Thomas More Law Center v. Bonta - this bars states from requiring non-profits disclose their donors
March for Life Education and Defense Fund v. California - basically Hobby Lobby 2.0
National Institute of Family and Life Advocates (NIFLA) v. Becerra - California said predatory Pro-Life clinics seeking to mislead women about abortions had to display a sign stating that abortions were actually provided at low- or no-cost. The Supreme Court said, “no that’s illegal you can just keep lying about that.”
Masterpiece Cakeshop v. Colorado Civil Rights Commission - the case law for 303 Creative
Trinity Lutheran Church of Columbia v. Comer - the church used state funds to make capital improvements, the state said, no, a religious org can’t make capital improvements to religious organizations using state funds, and the Supreme Court said “lol yes you can”
Southern Nazarene University v. Burwell; Geneva College v. Burwell; Conestoga Wood Specialties v. Burwell - also a Hobby Lobby kind of case
Reed v. Town of Gilbert - a pastor used a school as a church and wanted to have massive ads all over the school for it. The town said, “woah, 4 max, 6’x6’ in size, and only for 14 hours.” The supreme court said “fuck that do whatever.”
Town of Greece v. Galloway - the town opened every public meeting with a prayer, citizens went, “really?!” And the Supreme Court went, “FUCKING REALLY.”
Arizona Christian School Tuition Organization v. Winn - taxpayers can donate to schools as an additional deduction on their taxes, this makes sure if those schools are religious, they get that fuckin taxpayer money baybeeeeeee.
Just in case anyone was unsure about who they are or what’s going on there.
