IT GETS WEIRDER

It has been added to "ten hours ago" by two deactivated accounts, followed by a reblog from an active account LAST YEAR in two thousand twenty one. 2021

This was once again followed by three other deactivated accounts ALSO from "ten hours ago" before however many fast reblogs/ just the tags reblogs to reach J, who I reblogged from.

There is no reason a reblog from a year ago would be AFTER reblogs from ten hours ago, but I suspect this to be false, since it is common amongst five different deactivated accounts.

Normally, you can click a specific reblog to go to THAT person's post, then click the username directly below theirs but above OP's name to see who they reblogged it from if said person did not add any text, and continue to follow that trail to find where the orange juice switches back to shoelaces, this having discovered the culprit. However, since @/amlsh has been deactivated, this approach isn't possible. Another tactic might be to search through the total list of reblogs itself, potentially searching for other threads containing a similar reaction. Put simply, I don't wanna fucking so that. So it shall remain a mystery.

Babe your stories are great, and it's obvious you put a ton of effort into them. I think a lot of people who actually write feel the same way. No matter what format you are going to put your stories in I'll read them and continue to love them. One more thing I like that your stories are so different, it makes them stand out in my mind.

I used to write just dialogues before, but lately I’ve been feeling like I should give my best to people, I always try harder and try to make things better, but when it becomes stress instead of entertainment, I think reverting back to the dialogues is not the worst option.

I think you should do you and not cave to a 12 year old with a minuscule attention span. They are free to scroll and everybody else is free to stop and swirl their snifter.

I wouldn’t mind a 12 year old or even as asshole saying ‘your writing is crap I hate it’, won’t offend me at all, everyone has an opinion. But the two-faced stuff is what gets to me, I hate that shit offline and I hate that shit online. I know who that anon is and sadly enough they are not 12. I was never anything, but nice to that person. So I guess I’m done being nice and pleasing everyone and do ‘me’ instead.

I'm sorry you're feeling this way and that you're going through this. I won't pretend to know exactly what your emotions are, but I do feel like I get it.  I've had people straight-up tell me that I write too much and that nobody will bother reading it and I WAS using the "movie script" format on my simblr (@stargazersims) for my most recent attempts. Sometimes I feel like being a writer and being on simblr aren't compatible and it's very discouraging... 1/2

2/2 especially considering the amount of time and effort it takes to write (and to write well).  Fortunately for me, narrating sims gameplay is just a diversion from my "real" writing and it's not always my best effort (simply because people don't seem to give a crap). Thank you <3 My stories and characters exist for about 30 years. I used to draw comics about them as a kid, I wrote over 1500 page long novel and a few more (some finished and some not), so sims is just something I use to add visuals to that stuff, because I’m a sucker for visuals. If I was an artist I would draw pictures to my writing kind of like manga. So I write first, then go in game, take pictures, edit and post it. I work nearly 24/7, sleep about 4 hours a day so when i take an extra time with something it adds an extra pressure. I’m very well aware many people don’t read and I don’t blame them, what bugged me here is that the person felt the need to put it that way and do it on anon while I went to my friends blog and saw them sending similar message off anon. I’m not in the best place in life right now, so I do get extra salty over things because I’m on edge as is.  WP always feels more legit to post narration at, because I know when people go there they actually read it. While script stuff may be indeed best for Tumblr. It’s an art network mostly.

Yeah... and that happened right in the moment when I felt absolutely crappy too. So it just made it worse. Honestly, I always thought that doing such things is selfish, I remember I was very sad when theothersim deleted her untitled tag. But honestly, now I do get it, you walk an extra mile for people, but get nothing in return. So I would rather walk an extra mile for people who actually care and appreciate it and do my thing in the main-time. You know I always put myself inside-out for people, but maybe now I’m just not in a place to do so, because I take things to another level in my head and it gives me flashbacks to my great-grandmother who ended up giving her everything to people and you know how that went down.

It is not even negativity, it is the fact that people these days don’t care to think twice and believe that reblogging gofund me posts ultimately makes them a saint. I would rather take the negativity - at least those are honest.

Love everything you write, any length anf style.  I do read them because it is clear there is much thought and love behind your stories. Whatever you decide on WP or Tumblr do it because it is what you want. It will not stop me from reading it. Sorry some people put much less thought in seemingly nice compliments. Love.

But after that one I got my whole style messed up and stopped writing for myself (because before I wrote plenty off screen and then put dialogues with sims pictures). But I do appreciate your support, I know you always get the deeper meaning and between the lines stuff.

Tumblr seemed different somehow in 2013, now It's different. My posts get disappear in the by the dashboard. I also notice that the more effort I put into my story posts the less likes It gets... I think about the scroll by thing too. When you work hard and know that It'll get overlooked It's very disheartening and that's why I started reblogging my posts and I bet people think 'who does she think she is?' I just want my posts to be seen and read like everyone else does.

Word press is the best option, because I know many people have WP accounts and post over there. And I agree, Tumblr became quite different, I suppose because people decided to drag politics to the table and other stuff too. Tumblr is a great reflection of America honestly, this is exactly why I want to move the hell back to Europe.

I love your writing. I know I haven't read everything but I have I know you put a lot effort into it. I understand the feeling which is why I always post my writing fist on my blogs and then here.

This is really a good idea to do that. (which remind me I need to follow you on WP), I keep up with WP less than with Tumblr, but I go there when I want to read. So it makes sense in a lot of ways. I feel like these days on Tumblr people take shit for granted. Mauby it had to do with Tumblr taking away comments, i feel like back then people stopped paying attention and formed smaller groups.

Thank you <3 The reblog is mostly because Tumblr eats stuff from dash these days, since Yahoo broke something. I appreciate when people reblog these days, because I see only 40% of posts on dash.  I’m surely not leaving or moving completely, but I feel like posting stuff I want to post the way I’m comfortable with may be a better option than doing free copy-writing. I was offered professional publishing in my life, I turned it down, because I didn’t want to deal with the crap that comes with it, not I feel like I’m doing the same thing, but for free. Thank you, guys <3 I’m surely not leaving, I love this craphole too much to do so, but I kind of miss the freedom of it. I feel RP had a lot to do with it and was a grave mistake in general (don’t RP with the wrong people, guys). So lately it is writing to a deadline, trying to get 9000 words down whenever I can, taking pictures etc. As much as I love doing what I do and the story I write, I still feel like I’m missing something. I feel like my blog became less ‘me’ and more of ‘me trying too hard’ kind of thing.

I never would have thought that I would type this but I really want toddlers in my game since I saw that render they made when one of their colleagues had a new baby. This was extremely cute, and given the cuteness level of the kids in game already, I'm longing for the introduction of toddlers in TS4 since then... just to squeak with excitement whenever a toddler appears on my computer screen :)

Haha, yes. I never played with this kind of stuff before so it took me awhile to figure out how this thing works. I still need to find more toddler poses too. I hate most of them for newborns and babies >.> To me sims-toddlers are 3-4 year old or so.

As I mentioned above it is not just the anon though (the person who was the anon apologized for that), but it kinda made me wonder do I really enjoy what I’m doing if I depend on feedback so much? It feels like lately feedback is the only enjoyable part of the process. So I think I need to step back and figure out what the hell is that thing I want to write and do.

It was! I miss those times. I really loved doing it. Beau was inspired by my that time boyfriend. This is how I usually go about writing, it always should have a connection with real life stuff to be fun to do, I feel like during RP I lost that all together, because I was doing stuff I hated almost for a year. So let’s hope I can get back to feeling happy and inspired again!

Yeah... the blur and such is a killer. But I keep using it to see edit I want to make. I load up the game, turn it on to see the room I’ll be using and then fiddle with PS to make it look similar. It’s handy for that.

I really do! I’m actually feel excited about loading up my game for the first time in forever. I’m not adding any writing to it yet, because it seems like my writing ruins things for me, but I may try adding dialogues here and there later on!

Yes, I’d say Noah perfectly fits the definition of ‘high maintenance’.  He exists in a state of perpetual drama (at least in his own mind), whether real or imagined, good or bad, and he constantly ‘needs’ attention for all his ‘urgent’ situations. ;-)

haha he really is!  He was looking at himself in the mirror and had this really sad expression on his face like, “Why don’t I feel as beautiful as I look?” and I couldn’t help laughing. I feel like I didn’t even have to work hard to create this personality for him because he already seems to have it.   The worst part was, I didn’t even realize right away that he was sick because he did wake up really hungry, and I was like ‘Don’t be so dramatic, buddy. Just go eat something.’. Poor guy.  *pets him*

Yes!  (I just downloaded her.)  I'm really excited to put her in my game.

Yay! hehe I think we may actually have been in-game and online at the same time yesterday, as I saw a notification pop up just a few minutes after I shared her to the Gallery.  I hope you enjoy having her “visit” your save (although I can’t be held responsible if she drinks all your sims’ coffee and plays with their kids’ toys lol).

lol I think so!  He just woke up in the middle of the night and went outside, and then he started rummaging in the bin for “abandoned toys” (i.e. voidcritter cards).  Sometimes I just like to sit back and watch my sims autonomously do whatever they want without me directing their actions.  It can be highly entertaining.  Like, Dylan is out wandering around at 3:00 a.m. and Sapphire & Noah are sleeping away, completely oblivious.  I’m like, “You two do care that your son is outside rooting through the neighbours’ trash, right?”  LOL

LOL!!  Noah is definitely a legend in his own mind. ;-)  He figures he’s got it all; beauty and brains (he’s a tech guru).

It's funny how you can technically be an adult, but still not feel like one most of the time.

True!  haha I think that’s the story of many people’s lives.  I pretty much never feel my chronological age.  I feel as though 40 is more or less just like 18, except with more responsibilities lol. =P  (“Look at me!  I can adult! Mum, are you watching?”)

I always think of the song "Walk Like An Egyptian" when I see these chalk outlines. lol

haha me too!  They resemble nothing quite so much as an Egyptian painting.  I think they’re supposed to be dancing, though? Not really sure on that.  My favourite in-game graffiti is the llama in full colour.
